The 10th Division Comes Empty The 10th Division Comes

Sun Feb 16, 2014 9:23 pm

Walking in he set his Captain's haori on the mantle next to his desk and closed his crimson eyes, another day training them. Preparing them from what his instincts told him was an event that wouldn't go away. Tsubasa sat at his desk writing a letter to Neviah and Hitsugaya, each with a special version to it explaining the situation in detail, but further information would be held below just in case each member were not able to comprehend what was required, the summery would inform them as needed. His feathered quill moved as he wrote it down, he'd studied HItsugaya and chosen him for a reason. How far was his gaze one could wonder, Tsubasa needed Hitsugaya to do something within his retirement. Neviah's Division was in danger from something outside what was it? He didn't have the answer and short of going himself he wouldn't obtain it. This was her Division thus she needed to protect it. But why HItsugaya, it was his Division as well. A pair of messengers stood and looked at him with a calm gaze. Tsubasa closed his eyes before continuing to write beneath the light of the lantern, his people stood ready. In the darkness stood the Unabara, men and woman born of red's which could be seen in the shadow. They were the secret of the 1st, the people who he taught and educated.

Hitsugaya: I want you to observe Neviah, something about the mission is wrong my instinct says that someone extremely powerful removed us. They were sent out to examine something a disturbance, nothing severe mind you. I was tempted to send Chidori or my son to handle this matter. But we need to prepare the Captains as they must be ready for what comes. This mission is requiring both of you to go out into the field blind, the only information my squad has turned up is it's a battlefield. My clan will be in route, use them as needed I won't be able to come with as I stated. My job is here training these Captains and preparing for when War comes Hitsugaya, things won't be good. I promise you this, but we may need you to take an active role in things. Neviah is young and could use someone to help her through it, much like you were when you first came here. I sense something in the future dark, keep her safe but observe unless forced to act. Hitsugaya I'm uncertain of where this will go, but something's coming and these Captains must be ready..Aizen Sosuke, will pale in comparison to this, we both don't want a repeat..I leave it to you come or don't..the choice is your own Hitsugaya Toshiro."

"
Below the letter a seal of the Head Captain was placed on the paper.

Neviah:[i] "As a Captain the worst thing we can face is our people being killed while in duty. But as Captains it's our job to ensure they come home. I understand you fear men greatly Neviah, I am sending HItsugaya to aid you just as a precaution. I sense something is off about the disappearance of your Squad. As the Captain Commander I cannot act directly, not without drawing large scale conflict. I need you to investigate this and get to the bottom of it. My clan will be on standby to support you, my son is strong and young. But he can do exactly that without much trouble. I will not send him unless needed, Hitsugaya and you are to handle this mission. The Unabara can only help so much, they may be wounded so bring medical supplies and get those kids home. They're very sought after by their families, we must not disappoint them and do our best. Neviah have faith you are strong and will show many that in this mission. Neviah be careful out there, something isn't right about this as your friend I am warning you. Sending Hitsugaya out of his retirement is partly to ensure nothing goes wrong..But even with him present, things may get bad..Protect your Squad's Future and bring us success as I know you can." Tsubasa signed Neviah's letter and his eyes closed slowly. Upon handing the letter to the people who would deliver it each of them gazed at him, his eyes turned to the clan as he gave an order as he pulled out a piece of paper. Nis wasn't around and the second Division while good, this wasn't something he would involve them with needlessly. They were going to be handled of his own accord. Tsubasa turned to the crimsoned eyed killers and spoke. "Kill anyone who acts in the shadows, my children have the green light..If anyone is after 10th I want them dead." Tsubasa's words were harsh as the messengers were out of earshot for his message to the clan. They vanished into darkness as the night ended here. Tsubasa took his robe and walked out, leaving his form in the moonlight. It was time for a walk, Tsubasa was going to handle this personally before returning to train the others. " Tonight dragons die." A code word of some sort as he simply stepped out of the moonlight and walked down the path from 1st Division, Tsubasa was planning something it had begun to occur to him. Something bad was coming and he needed to act now, orders would be given when he returned from this trip. Tsubasa was acting as the Head Captain and had a duty to handle on the late night, it would do nothing with the mission of Hitsugaya and Neviah however, but it would lead to questions as both would soon find out.

Upon getting to the scene they would find a battlefield almost, crimson eyed warriors had come upon the field first going through and removing shadow ops. Tsubasa had played his family as the card to counteract the attempt of assassins. His own were perhaps the greatest of this world had ever seen, the area was a mess of fire and missing people. Fog covered the field of vision, it was purposeful though someone had set it. Much to their dismay, the Unabara had used it and removed all of the shadow ops in the area without effort. Before leaving a symbol of the Unabara for HItsugaya and Neviah to find. The people were missing the note updated them that they weren't able to be located by the clan. They would be proceeding back, the rest was up to them. They'd cleared out most of the assassins, but they had gotten the order that Dragons shall die. And it's code name had a great meaning as it meant something big was coming. The scene looked of a war movie in the fog as they walked bodies could be found. Who did they work for, what had caused this upon the tenth. The story was HItsugaya's and Neviahs to find out.

summery: The tenth sent out a team to survey the area, the team has gone MIA and has been missing for a week. The location of their site is a mess of blood and a crater in the location they were supposed to be, some clothing and other fabric is in the area along with some foot prints indicating a struggle and perhaps an escape. Where Neviah and Hitsugaya go based on the information is up to you, my part has ended.

The 10th Division Comes Empty Re: The 10th Division Comes

Mon Feb 17, 2014 12:16 am
"Sir! We have word from the Captain-Commander of the utmost importance." was the first thing to which Hitsugaya Toshiro woke to in the some what early hours of the morning. And without so much as a chance to get the sacred first cup of coffee. As it turns out, he had fallen asleep at his desk having been tirelessly filling out paperwork the night before; determined to get it done as quickly as possible. "Sir...?" said the messenger again, sounding somewhat concerned. Toshiro opened his right eye, the aqua like hue of his eye having a mixed expression as it peered at the man. Seems that this is how Toshiro often found himself waking up; at his desk. With his hand framing his face and serving as a pillar with his elbow at the base on the desk. "Yes? What is it?" he said, finally chiming in. The man seemed almost shocked at the response, as if he half expected to be ignored or killed. What did he expect? He woke up the Shinigami equivalent of a teenager in their later years while the male was getting less than the recommended amount of sleep. What did he want? A cookie? "I, uh', well." he stuttered, not sure how to treed. "Well? On with it." Toshiro remarked, a bit grouchy. "I've a letter from the Captain-Commander addressed to you, sir." he finally answered, walking toward Toshiro and handing it to him. "It's classified and for you eyes only." he finished and then vanished.

Toshiro would then read the letter and then do so several times over. But one thing stuck out more than anything else. A name. "Worse... Than Sousuke Aizen...?" he quietly spoke to himself in utter disbelief. What, who, could possibly be worse than that... Monster...? He sat there for a moment, staring at the piece of paper as though he would kill it if he could. As though by the mere mention of than man was a sin, a blasphemy that Toshiro was obligated to punish. Few things stirred him so deeply, but that abomination of a Shinigami was one of them. Assuming you could reasonably even call him a Shinigami anymore. He crumpled the paper with every intention to be rid of it, but something told him to do just the opposite. So he did. He stowed it inside his robes till such a time he was ready to be free of it. No longer being a Captain, he didn't have the Haori to put on before leaving. Just having to grab his Zanpakutō and be on his way. To of which, he did. In doing so, he left and traversed through the gate and into the world of humans. It truly did not change very much in the slightest since the last time he had need to be a resident of it for any length of time. The drop point which the gate led him to was a place he had yet to be before, so at the very least that was something different.

In any other situation, it would be protocol to wait here till his partner had made her way here from wherever she was previously located. But given the potential turbulence of the allegedly volatile situation that the Sereitei found itself in, yet again, Toshiro felt the need to scout out ahead a bit to make some progress in the time it would take his partner to get to this coordinates. He trekked several meters ahead of the drop point, enough to gaze off the side of a small cliff just outside their target location which the mission was to take place in. The fog was thick enough it even reached up here, slithering around his ankles as it made its way through. And with it, was carried the scent of blood. Though, this was just an afterthought of the signs a battle had taken place. Even in the fog, he could make out the ever so slight outlines of the bodies of those who may have fallen here. To even add further to that, the mist almost had a slight crimson hue to it. In either case, it would be reasonable to say that it wouldn't be all that likely to find an incredible amount of survivors. But with that being said, we can still hope for the best. Can't we? It was his job to look after and guide the new tenth division Captain in gaining experience in her duties. That being said, it would be a lie to say there wasn't a certain amount of personal investment in this.

He took to closing his eyes gently and taking a deep breath, the light breeze flowing through the locks of his hair. This would almost be pleasant and relaxing, if he wasn't on a mission and the place didn't reek of blood and burning bodies. Burning bodies? It was a good thing Toshiro had chosen to pay a bit more mind to this. Burning bodies meant fire, fire meant the destroying of evidence as well as potentially giving a vital clue in ascertaining the motive behind the reasoning as to why someone would do this. What was of so much importance in this village that someone would practically raid it? And then to top it off, burning things to the ground meant the possibility of trying to hide evidence and covering one's tracks. They were also powerful enough to take out a sect of tenth division Shinigami with seemingly little effort, if at all. This meant it was either a large organized group, or a few powerful individuals, or better yet one Lieutenant or Captain level enemy combatant. To top everything off, it seemed to lead to what was brought to Toshiro's attention in the letter and was enough to cause the Captain-Commander to be on edge and even consider semi-forcefully reinstating Toshiro to active duty. Something was off. By a lot. Now he had a grasp of why he was brought in on the mission.

A million and a half questions were swimming and buzzing around Toshiro's head, and with the few answers he already had; they just bred more questions. It wasn't long before his famous inquisitive nature had bred more questions then normal people would think even remotely possible. In spite of it all, he couldn't stop thinking about Momo. If this was all legitimate, that would mean she could be in danger. Thus, further explaining his personal involvement in this mission. It was in this moment that his train of thought was interrupted by a somewhat familiar Reiatsu that he recognized as the current Captain of the tenth division, as expected it was coming from the direction of the drop point not but a few meters away from his current position. He opened his eyes slowly, cutting his aqua hued optics in the direction she would possibly be appearing from and into his field off vision. He knew her to be rather phobic of men, on top of being inexperienced as a Captain; meaning this would be an interesting mission to say the very least. It wasn't as if he hadn't been assigned a veteran status for sometime, so he had not been in the field for quite a while. Don't mistake this to mean he had become weaker, truth be told he had been training relentlessly. He waited, her figure should be coming into view at any moment.

The 10th Division Comes Empty Re: The 10th Division Comes

Mon Feb 17, 2014 5:11 pm
Hitsugaya Toshiro was easily among the last any kind of person in any realm to have the prerogative or even the potential want to judge someone for getting emotional over a bleak situation in which one finds that it is a situation when friends, comrades or family is involved. On some level he could relate, almost even respect it. Hell, to be perfectly honest, he respected her more than he previously did due to her being so deeply invested in her soldiers. While clearly very inexperienced, she still was obviously going to make an amazing Captain. But there was a time and a place for everything.. Including grief. This was something even Toshiro, no, especially Toshiro; had to learn very well from personal experience. That is to say, very personal experience. He wasn't adverse to admitting when he was wrong. Truth be told, he seemed to have over estimated her professionalism on the matter; clearly a safe bet to conclude. Thinking that she would use the authorized gate and arrive from the recommended drop point was, in hindsight, a ludacris concept for him to abide by more so because her people she was over was involved. Though, slightly surprised it wasn't entirely unexpected. In fact, on some level he figured this would happen. She wouldn't make a good Captain if having those in her division die or be hurt didn't bother her on some level aside from the business perspective. This was something most people in his position knew. Something she would eventually learn, those after her would also learn of it and so forth.

This being said, he felt her entry the moment it happened into existence in this realm. His eyes darted upwards in which he saw her form freefalling to the ground below, this serving to further conclude that this wasn't so much as Captain Clixx-Hemura as it was Clixx-Hemura who had just lost someone. During this moment, it was made really very clear that she was being reckless to the point that the term itself 'reckless' might not entirely cover her current actions. "You must be joking..." he remarked as she landed into the mist, half relating to her on a personal level and half with the irritation of someone watching their beloved student doing something incredibly stupid. It was like looking into a mirror that had an outdated version of himself, with a mocking sense of irony. Lest we forget he now would know on some level how the others felt when they saw him doing such things. It's a part of growing up I suppose we could say. But he had grown in his time, even if he was still young and the Shinigami equivalent of a teenager; he grew and learned. Even realizing that sometimes that would mean learning the hard way. Sometimes taking on sadness and having to over come it with the will power to live and move on. Because, a horrible fact of life is that there are many cases in which the good guys do not win and that the bad guys win. That sometimes good people died for much less than anything even close to a good reason. All one could do is live in spite of it and never give up or give in.

He quietly watched her offer some level of respect for the fallen, it was enough to put a tinged of pain in his heart. At some point when someone becomes more experienced and adept in handling such morbid situations they begin to change not just in how they respond but also in how they feel. It becomes less of an emotional reply of seeking retribution for those who did such hideous things and more about the logical response of solving the puzzle and bringing them to justice while never allowing yourself to become involved because when you're compromised you make mistakes. What's worse is how difficult it is to find a middle ground between the two. To be able to feel while still doing what is needed to bring those responsible to pay for their crimes. Something even Toshiro had a hard time with doing. He allowed her to use some ability to put out the fires, he knew this was a huge mistake because it could give away their position and that they were here; but without even this small amount of closure he wouldn't be able to get through to her. Giving their position away was one thing, they could improvise to compensate for it and move onward. But what happened next was something Toshiro couldn't let happen. Having done an ample amount of research on her prior to teaming up with her in any way, something of which was very indeed characteristic of something Toshiro would do. Always the precautious type. Still, now was something he had to prevent or any chance of them saving so much as a single survivor was lost.

He noticed it in the nick of time. Her Reiatsu was altering from her usual, normal self. Like peeling off layers of a cocoon to see what was inside before it was ready. "Tch'.." was all the sound that left his lips as he begin to realize just how much of an absolute pain in the ass this one was going to be. Sheesh, I hope I wasn't like this at that age. In any case, he took the notion to Shunpo-ing in her vicinity and grasping onto her via his arm enveloping her midsection and then Shunpo-ing just outside the ground zero as it were. The sudden shock of this just before the personality alteration, assuming this action to be successful in the slightest, would serve as a catalyst in keeping her personality as it was. The actions following would hopefully cement that and teach her a valuable lesson. When they arrived to the location he had just been, he semi-gently let her go with the possibility of her falling on her rear in the dirt. "Have you lost your mind? he began to speak to her with every intention of harshly scolding her, but as it continued it became more and more relating and somewhat mentor-ish as he spoke to her. "Don't you dare lose yourself to some alter ego to escape the reality of what happened. This you, this is their Captain to which they respect and look up to." he said, trying to show her why this version of her was the one she needed to be. "You are likely going to run across cases like this in the future where it doesn't seem fair that it happened. And it isn't. But are you going to get like this every time? You need to face this, Captain Clixx-Himura. Face it and become stronger so that you never allow something like this to happen in the future. Show them that y--...." Toshiro was somewhere between reprimanding her slightly and relating to her at this moment when he finally noticed what she was wearing and realized he had just grabbed her in such an outfit.

"For the love of..." he said a slight blush running itself across his face. In the midst of this he took off the top layer of his Shinigami outfit, there was two layers which consisted of the inner white half and the outer black half. He walked closer to her and placed the top half of his outfit over her shoulders for her to put on and wear. "Wear this for now." he mumbled and looked away as he took a few steps from her to allow her to fix herself. It wasn't as if Toshiro was any stranger to this, but given the type of person he was this was just how he would responds to it. Some level of awkwardness and another level of kindness, giving her something to wear. "You can't save anyone or bring those to did this to justice if you get yourself killed for recklessly going headstrong into enemy territory when you know next to nothing about the situation." he said with a somewhat somber tone to his voice. "You can't do anything if you're dead. And what would we tell your comrades, what would they think of this if you died amidst trying to save them. Assuming we found survivors. They would be crushed without their cherished Captain and would be grieving." he said with finality, his works a mix of a kind connection seeing as they were somewhat similar to each other and reprimand for doing something so foolish. He knew all too well you can't save anyone if you are dead. Or if they die because you screwed up. With the guilt that accompanies either one of those situations. Hell, he still hasn't forgiven himself over what happened to Momo. He hasn't spoken to her since, one could reasonably assume he had been avoiding her. Unable to look her in the eyes after what he did.

"Look, Captain, we're going to go at this as a team. I'll do whatever I can to help you make sure your comrades come home. But I'll need you to work with me on this. Can you do that?" he asked her this question with the utmost of sincerity as he turned around and allowed his aqua hued eyes to look directly into her own as he awaited a response from her. This was a defining moment not only in the mission but it was also a very likely deciding factor in how the relationship of any kind would develop between the two. Be it friends, respect, hate, etc. But this is how it had to be to be able to get things done. Aside from his lecture to her, he was formulating a plan in the back of his mind as to how to best handle this. What was the best way to single out survivors while keeping in the best vantage point? If there were survivors, how would they be able to make sure they lived and get to them without get anyone killed? Who, or what rather, could decimate a squad of the tenth division so thoroughly? Motive? There was a million questions he needed to answer. But priority right now was finding survivors and trying to push out whomever did this. Trying to as low key as possible, hoping that they were not found out just yet or at the very least that they had the time to prep a stable plan of action. Something where they could punish those who did this and as well as bring back whomever was still alive.

At the moment the best plan he could reasonably consider off the top of his head was to do a very thorough and detailed wide spread sensing scan of the area and with any luck they could flush out the location of the individual or individuals who had done this as well as sense if anyone had survived. He, naturally had contingency plans in place that didn't work or something went wrong but something of a glaring detail prevented any real actions on his part. The fact he was ordered to let her take driver's seat in this and for him to play teacher when and if need be in the mission. So, as ordered, he would do just that. That aside, he still had to wait to see her reaction to the actions of which he had taken. Be they good or bad. Hopefully, she would feel the sincere-ness and the two could make somewhat of a good team. At this point, the ball was in her court.

The 10th Division Comes Empty Re: The 10th Division Comes

Tue Feb 18, 2014 9:18 am

India. Hot, bothersome, a mainly filled with an aura of death. The country had always been ridden with poverty, the wealthiest people living in houses of pure gold whilst the poor men, women and children lived in the gutters and lived off the scraps they found in the trash. Such a pathetic way to live, such a sad way to live. In a way, Nami Asthavon, the Demon Queen of Vicara Plane, was saddened by the current state of this country. Although the outer-areas of India proved to be quite peaceful. These peaceful areas were hard to find it a country full of billions of people, but when you did find the place? It was as if you became bliss itself. The untouched area of woods, the outback areas of India with pristine views to the sky at night, something about it rang inside Nami's soul. Yet as she stood among here, her eyes shifted constantly towards the lights that were flickering in the distance. It would appear as if a small village was set up about two kilometres out. The sounds of humans echoed through the town, a disgusting sound in Nami's eyes. Their entire bodies consisted of noise, everything they did had to be so loud and bothersome. Laying on the grass just on the outskirts, Nami sighed as she continued to gaze at the stars, trying to forget about the noise. In the end, she would have to go there for food as she could feel the rumbles through her stomach.

The Royal Asthavon's eyes remained on the stars for a moment. A few thoughts made their way through her head, the primary one being what life was going to be like now. Ever since her fight with that of Tsubasa Unabara during the Australian War, she couldn't help but feel all realms were going to be plunged into further chaos. Essentially, the following few years were to be counted as a World War Four in human eyes. A fourth world war that would obliterate not only all that were fighting, but possibly every single bit of existence all together. This was the main problem with these wars, they didn't only threaten these organizations existence, but every single other persons' at the same time. Yet, she digressed. This was not her problem. She did not side with Shadow Fall or Gotei, or their allies, she was an Asthavon. That meant she followed her family, her elder sisters. Anything beyond that she did no pay attention to. She didn't need to.

Sighing slightly, The Demoness would place both hands flat on the ground and push herself up with her core upper-body strength and stand up, stretching for a moment and viewing the village just over two kilometres away, much more light being flickering off it now as, curiosity began to overcome the woman. Within the blink of an eye, Nami would appear smack within the middle of the town. Fading out of a shadow movement, The Asthavon Royal would survey the surroundings. Strange... Nami wondered to herself. Just moments ago, the town was fluttering with life, but at the time she entered a shadow movement and appeared within the town, everything was ash. Ash covered the streets, as did bodies, as blood covered the remaining structures, walls completely caved in as well from the houses that were here either completely burnt to the ground or still standing and on fire. Normally the site of this would be enough to make anyone throw up, dead bodies everywhere, or perhaps even cry -- but not Nami. Nami was not weak gutted, she did not care about the lives that were lost here, more about the idea of someone strong enough slaughtering all these people. Bending down slightly to one of the bodies, the Demon Queen would check the markings on these dead shinigami. Tenth division, huh? Nami thought to herself, slightly confused about what they'd be doing here in the first place.

As she walked, her vision would continue to shift around the burnt down village. Her completely black attire would be visible, her dark black boots clattered against the floor, her black skirt jagged and stopping on her upper thigh. Her black corset blending in with the skirt as the jacket was also blending rather well. Her golden eyes began to survey the surroundings, her right hand clenching slightly as the sound of clattering armor echoed through the air. "What are Shinigami doing here..." She said softly to her self, her soft womanly voice barely having any power to it at all. Yet as the moment she said this, a sudden gust of power shot over the town, all fires being extinguished within the blink of an eye and the reiatsu of shinigami being felt all over, as if the town was now drowned in it. Holding out her right hand, Nami would squint sightly, a yellow flash filling the air. As it faded, the Demon would now be seen to hold a golden blade. The golden blade would drag across the floor, blood slightly being caught on it's edge. Walking slowly, the scraping off her sword would be loud enough for anyone to hear.

Raising an eyebrow, Nami couldn't help but chuckle at the scene before her eyes. More shinigami, and not only that, but an ex-captain from over 400 years ago with a seemingly delicate woman. Not attempting to conceal her presence, the woman wielding a golden blade would make herself visible. As she walked, the clattering of her boots on the floor would be easily heard, a smile almost crossing her lips. It was unknown whether they would notice The Vicara Queen instantly or after a certain while, but she would simply stand there and view, standing only around a hundred meters or less from from the two white haired Shinigami. Her mind continued to ponder, but she couldn't help but find this spectacle interesting. The male was more confined, he held himself as if he was used to this type of scene. Whilst the woman... Well, she was obviously distraught. Like her own family was just killed right before her eyes, the only one standing. It would not be known that Nami was an Asthavon, however a demon among a bunch of dead Shinigami? That was a sign of hostility. With her blade covered in blood from dragging it against the ground, Nami would certainty appear to be the culprit here, even thought she was as innocent as the two Shinigami before her.

Fate was in the hands of the two people before her. Would they try to attack Nami without knowing the true limits of her power, or would they be rational? Fate was in their hands, at least... for now.

The 10th Division Comes Empty Re: The 10th Division Comes

What did the code mean, Tonight Dragon's Die? It meant Tsubasa was going off to think and search for someone. Little did he know he would get a report of her presence being detected by a returning member of the family. Tsubasa's eyes looked up from his position giving the blade a flick he walked away. Before sheathing it, the lantern ridden path he had was simply filled with them. Tsubasa decided to open a Senkaimon, he had informed 46 if anything transpired he would step in. This was official business and something he would also label as very personal, Tsubasa stepped into the Senkaimon before vanishing as the object closed behind him. Using Shunpo's he traveled quickly how fast would he arrive it wouldn't take long. Tsubasa's presence was powerful, something known as the Demon born a Shinigami. Tsubasa was able to arrive on the scene above Hitsugaya and Neviah, his pressure blasted away the fog around them. Clearing this place of the meaningless fog that bothered the vision, his crimson gaze looked down upon them. Before examining the scene, this mission wasn't done just yet. Some of their people were slaughtered, his radar could pick up everything within a fairly large radius. A couple had lived through the event to the East and West, his gaze went down as he looked to Neviah. Tsubasa's body gave out some black foreign objects. Nanobots would scan out the area, the Head Captain's pressure was massive. He really had become a monster since they last had met, Tsubasa used a shunpo and stood right in front of Nami. The woman known as the Dragon Slayer as he remembered her, such a powerful conviction. This was the meeting of two people who were the same, silence was something intense between these two.

A demon born a Shinigami, Tsubasa Unabara. His aura and very presence almost demanded blood, but their was none of that. He didn't seem here to do anything more than what he had. Step before Nami, would this turn into a confrontation? No it was doubtful, as he looked into her eyes with the Crimson eyes she'd seen before hand. Words were exchanged in silence, nothing needed to be said between them. These two were the same creature born of different sides, their personalities lined up exactly. Both disliked crowds and would of rather stayed on the side lines. Tsubasa's goal's and nature had changed, just as she had. He did still have the aura and seemed almost wanting to stay alone, but he had such a massive power and charisma that no choice was left. On his body now the robe of the Captain Commander blew, his face remained expressionless. His blonde hair seemed to move slightly in the breeze, the man who claimed a Dragon would die this day in the command could had delivered.

Tsubasa had met one Dragon Slayer in his life, she was it and the battle they had changed both of their lives. Tsubasa was promoted to the position of Captain Commander, he trained each Captain without effort. He hadn't forgotten Hitsugaya or Neviah, they were still in his mind. Nobody had dared follow him when he came here, Tsubasa had a mission in order he wanted to see her once more, his changes were evident the goal and desire changed in him. From simply butchering anyone who came near him to something more. His dream and goals were being brought to light, perhaps they both wanted this. To show the other the changes, she didn't do this. Tsubasa wasn't an idiot he fought the woman before, he knew well enough that she wouldn't kill anyone weaker than her. Nami wasn't that type of person, she simply didn't ever come across as that kind of being. Tsubasa could and would do so, but his job as a killer had created the animal he was. She had changed, Tsubasa could tell from the silent exchange.

Two beings so alike never existed in the realms. Their was a friction in the air, almost thick enough that someone could cut it. Nami and Tsubasa, the two loners who became Heroes in the war. Both learned that War was meaningless, each seemed to be making efforts to prevent the big one. But it wasn't hard to say what was going on, magic perhaps or something else. Nami was a rival, but also something more for Tsubasa she was a person he could relate too. Beyond that of Nis, Tsubasa and Nami were the coin that shared sides. Each had gone down roads that no one else dared to travel. Each had done things even their own race couldn't begin to fathom. They truly were the loners of the races that they hailed from, Tsubasa Unabara a man who was born all alone almost and kept it that way most of his life. Yet drew in people as naturally as breathing, Nami was the same while she didn't care for people outside her family. She drew them in like a magnet, it was something special.

The 10th Division Comes Empty Re: The 10th Division Comes

His patients with her was ebbing away from his grasp in every sense of the phrase, this was entirely due to the motions she took to make an attempt at countering him having Shunpo'd in to remove her for but just a simple moment as to give her a chance at clearing her head and approaching this from an angle that would make it possible to bring whom they could home. She attempted to take his arm and bend it to his backside and then let the force do the work, this however, never came to fruition. Voiding most of what would potentially happen to take place after, such as him taking off his over coat to place around her form; he effortlessly dodged her attempt to clasp onto his arm via reading the moves in the moment just before he tried to get close enough. He, reading her body language, could tell she wasn't going to come willingly and clearly she planned on being far less than cooperative in any form or fashion. So just after his Shunpo next to her, rather than complete his previous action, he retracted his arm and the gesture entirely thus her counter was also altered; she would just miss him and possibly look a tad foolish as a result.

For nothing short or anything over just a moment longer, he looked at her in a mixture of disbelief and irritation. It's not that he didn't expect her to have some form of adverse reactions to his presence during her emotionally volatile condition but he had on some level hoped that his replacement in his previous division after his retirement would have more sense than this. He was never so bad as to be practically willing to blow a mission just because he felt upset. Keeping a cool head was something he was better at than most. But still, she had become a Captain thus she should be able to distinguish personal from duty. His aqua hued eyes looked at her in a mixture of slight pity, the pity quickly leaving his emotional scale entirely, and that of a rather serious expression. His lips twisted into somewhat of a frown and his eyes almost spoke with the way he was looking. It was almost as if this expression said: 'If this is how you are going to act, then you don't deserve that Haori you wear.' It wasn't as if he was meaning to come off that way, but being a Captain meant living by a certain standard. And sometimes that meant forcibly choking down pills that are more than just a little hard to swallow, as the saying goes.

But this look was quickly replaced by his usual stoic one, this would easily be normally attributed to how he normally looks and him having simply let the issue go seeing no need to continue in it as it was pointless. And to be perfectly honest, part of it was just that. The other part of it, however, was that he was a veteran Captain and even during this small and trivial confrontation he still was doing his duties. He was scanning over the area, searching for survivors and potential hostiles. He was very smart, and normally followed orders very well; but he wasn't by any means the type to leave this to someone else entirely without doing the work himself as well. It just wasn't in him, never did trust very well. He picked up on a few survivors as well as... Well, this was new. He recognized the species of individual and had a guess or two as to the identity, this was possible not just to his near detective like nature but also the fact that given his position he was often allotted positions in which he handled classified intel and thus knew a considerable lot more than most gave him credit for. He knew what she was, whom she was and the possibility of her being a hostile. But Toshiro was never the type to 'shoot first and ask questions later', as it were.

Before he could make any real reactions or conclusions, the Captain-Commander showed up and put on the show he did even if it might have been somewhat unintentional. Toshiro had guessed much, much earlier that this wasn't right and that things could and probably would get considerably complicated in a very short time. The fact that his teammate had practically set up a beacon of their current position as if they were some kind of Shinigami lighthouse didn't help too much. Fuck Toshiro for being sentimental and letting her put out the fires on her fallen, right? He said nothing, not to the Captain and not to the possible foe. He simply made a casual b-line for the right side of the Captain-Commander. I might need to take you out of retirement, he said. It'll be fun, he said. Yeah, right. He missed his job, the quiet was good but sometimes in itself it was deafening. However, as with most things, there was aspects he didn't miss. Finally making it to Tsubasa's side, it was here which he stood. Not speaking, not motioning in any way. He had a bad feeling about all this....
