PERSONALITY || TRAITS

Personality: Corvo was brought up as a normal man in London until the events of his past took a hold and he was forced to take matters into his own hands. The death of very important people in his life pushed him to want revenge, and picking up a sword, crossbow, pistol and arsenal of powers is the first step to getting there. Corvo is a man who will sneak around, killing people from a distance or running up unnoticed and slitting their throats. All in the name of revenge.

He has however shown varying levels of sympathy and mercy in his assassination attempts. Sometimes, he loses the will to kill and will give the target a warning such as knocking them unconscious or simply scaring them senseless. Sometimes killing is not the answer and Corvo will analyse the situation to see if he really wants to drive his sword into them, or become a feared figure through the rest of their lives.

Corvo is a man of many mysteries. Why does he do what he does? He never speaks of his past, and usually keeps his mouth shut in any situation. Corvo also seems to know a lot about things that seem impossible to have learned without either being there or knowing the target personally. He looks up his targets files and knows exactly how to take them down. However, it isn't clear how he actually goes about doing this.

This assassin once had family: A wife and daughter. the events of his past took them away from him but this does not mean he cannot sympathise with existing families. In fact, he pushes back feelings of jealousy to stop himself form taking anger out on people who have done nothing wrong.

Corvo disagree's with the ideals of betrayal. He cannot stand people who would work under cover to stab their friends and family in the back. This is why he seems to work alone so often as past endeavours have caused him to lose allies and at one time, he almost lost his life to them.

The masked man lives in London after the city had been destroyed by Mana and the rest of the demon spawn. Corvo fought back in the sewers against creatures moving underground and it was his brave efforts that stopped many attacks on people in the area of London he was moving through. The sewers of London are his playground but so are the rooftops and streets. Because he originally came from London, he is British and speaks with an accent to match.

The attack on London has given him full reason to try and kill all Demons he sees. Demon kind should not be allowed to run havoc as they have been these past three years and Corvo wants to put an end to this. However, his internal demon is contradictive. he also agree's with Corvo's wishes to kill demons but does so in a rather riddled and passive way. Corvo isn't entirely sure if he should trust the demon within, but it gives him insight on what he is doing and corvo owes the outsider everything.

BACKGROUND || THEIR PAST

Background/History: Corvo was born to a British family in London, England and it is here that his story begins. He is a full blown Englishman and still lives in England to this day. Corvo's childhood was very simple as it was no different to your usual school boy turning teenager you would expect in society. He reached his adult years and at the age of 24, he married to a woman no overly special in this world as he was. They made a family, and buy the age of 28 he had a child with this woman of whom was now already 2. Corvo had to get some money, and this is when he decided to get a job. Corvo got a job as a guard which is where he learned to defend himself. The guards were used to Hollow and Demon attacks on the relatives of noble families at the time. Thus corvo had to become aware of how to slay demons and hollows effectively and this brought out his more potent warrior side. he was powerful and nobody could deny that. Soon, his skills were seen as a valuable asset, and the noble family that they were guarding approached him.

Corvo was promoted to Lord Protector. This means that Corvo was the personal guard to the current empress or lord at the time. Their relationship had to be very close as a Lord Protector was in charge of their very lives. Nobody else was ever with the noble as much as Corvo was. However, after several months of service, the empress was attacked by assassins holding deadly powers against Corvo. Held by an invisible force, Corvo watched the empress be stabbed through the gut and the assassins escaped through teleporting across rooftops. Corvo was then found, still alive beside a dead empress. He was the only evidence the other guards had to the murder and corvo was put in jail to await execution.

Whilst in jail, for some reason, Corvo was handed a key by one of the guards. he said he knew what really happened and that Corvo should escape. Unlocking the door to his cell, he made his way through the prison and escaped along a river to find where the rest of the people that know the truth were hiding. They were kind people, looking to re-establish a working throne and knew where the assassins were holed up. However, it is not entirely possible to set up a noble, especially since the people behind it had instated themselves in nobility in their place. To get to the noble throne, Corvo would have to take people out of the picture.

The night before Corvo goes to assassinate his first victim, he falls into a deep sleep which induces a sort of transcendent dream. It is there, that he meets a peculiar human. He is no ordinary man, and calls himself the outsider of whom knows what corvo is doing. He blesses corvo with powers, and explains how he is taking over part of his mind to aid him in his mission to remove nobles in his path. Corvo then became half supernatural, and a ziamichi.

Corvo then successfully assassinates Nobles and guardsmen that needed to be slain. Using a series of weapons such as swords, pistols, crossbows, grenades, and spring-traps. He was also gifted the abilities of teleportation, summoning, possession, vision and minor control of the wind. However, his powers became noticable and the very men who knew the truth and were guiding him betrayed corvo. They attempted to attack him in the night, but corvo managed to defend against the attackers and killed them all. It was this very night, the London lit up like a firecracker. Demons had invaded London and corvo needed to get the hell out of there otherwise be killed by their onslaught.

Ziamichi Spirit Name: The Outsider

Ziamichi Spirit Appearance: The outsider resembles a man with short black hair wearing a black and Gray smart military uniform. he usually has a face, but in disruptive environments he masks his face so people cannot recognise him. The outisder usually appears in a puff of smoke and stands in awkward places with his arms folded and watching Corvo do what he does best.

Ziamichi Personality: The outsider is a very odd man. He Floats through the air with his arms folded and stares deep into Corvo's soul whenever he talks. He speaks with a young voice and seems to guide corvo in his tasks, only ever appearing when needed as if he doesn't mind that he cannot take control of Corvo's body entirely.

The outsider seems to have an extensive knowledge of things. he appears before corvo at his time of need and offers up ideas in the form of riddles that questions Corvo's actions up to this point and remind him of what he is doing. The outsider often asks Corvo if what he is doing is wrong or right not just in his own view, but in the view of the people around him.

The outsider seems very omniscient as he appears whenever he feels like it and acts as if he knows all, see's all and already knows how everything is going to end. he finds great pleasure in watching Corvo try to solve his issues and always questions his actions as if he wnats to learn from Corvo.

Ziamichi History: The outsider does what he wants to do and always has. His past before Corvo is a complete mystery and delving into it is meaningless. The outsider simply moves from host to host, bestowing the same set of powers into them for personal gain.

The reason to why he possessed Corvo this time is because he wanted to see the noblemen that killed the empress die.Thus the outsider has simply followed Corvo through his life after the death of noblemen. He finds Corvo's actions very strange and interesting. There is no more about the Outsider that needs to be known.

Ziamichi Powers:

Gift of Power: The outsider has the ability to split a gift of power to his host. These powers tend to be the same. It also grants the host a vast relay of both Reitsu. The exact powers can be found further down the application under 'Unique traits'

Dream Seeker The outsider may possess a new host by entering their dreams and stealing their body. If another demon is already within them, then the outsider will not be able to take over. He does this by appearing beside the target and turning into dust, being sucked in as they breath.

Materialise The outsider can appear to Corvo, but nobody else to give him information. He simply appears in a puff of smoke and will stand on the spot, watching corvo before vanishing. Nobody can see the Outsider, and he usually doesn't do anything that helpful.

BENEFITS || OF HOST

Unique Traits:

Accepting the gift Corvo has accepted the gift of power from the Outsider which grants him the following abilities.

Blink Corvo points towards the direction he wishes to move and vanishes in a blur. An instant later, he reappears up to 20m in the direction he pointed. This can only be done twice a post.

Dark Sight Corvo can toggle this ability freely at the beginning of a post. It deactivates at the beginning of his next post. Corvo's vision turns orange, and he can see life forms through walls in the form of a yellow outline. Not only that, but he can also see their line of sight, showing just how much vision they have in front of them shown by a yellow cone from the eyes.

Possession Corvo has the ability to possess small animals. If he comes across a rat, cat, dog or anything similar he can possess it. This removes his physical body from existence and allows him to move as the creature for a single post. At the end, the creature dies and he returns to his normal form beside a blood splat of whatever he just possessed. If the creature possessed dies whilst still under possession, corvo also dies.

Summoning Corvo creates a black portal on a surface. Suddenly, a swarm of plagued rats breaks free of the portal and attack nearby people, tearing them apart and eating their bodies to dust. Corvo is affected by the ability as well, so the rats will attack him too if they are not distracted. They do not vanish with a time limit either but are easily killed.

Wind Blast Corvo swings his arm, blasting a small torent of wind at his opponent to knock them off their feet. heavier opponents will not be affected by the ability, but anybody not wearing heavy armour will be thrown.

Forms: Corvo has no forms

Drawbacks: Corvo has no notable Drawbacks other than exhaustion

Control: 5, but the outsider does not interfere out of choice

THE HOST || POWERS

Corvo is a powerless human if he did not have Ziamichi powers.

Physical Training Corvo had trained with the guards at his original guard outpost and learned how to slay demons and hollows with a sword and also his bare fists. His general assortment of weapons and skill with moving his body and fighting has gotten him to Lord Portector status before. And that was several years ago.

Potent focus ability Corvo is capable of focusing in on pinpoint actions. This allows him to notice when things are wrong, or when he needs to attack. also allows him to use his weapons effectively and not miss his target.

EQUIPMENT

Rotation Crossbow A custom crafted crossbow used only by Corvo. The weapon is no larger than a pistol and is usually strapped to her right hip when not in use. The crossbow has a special gyro system built into it, that activates when a bolt is fired. By rotating the crossbow sling, the bolts attached to a hoop around the gun slam a new bolt into place as soon as a bolt is released from the chamber. This means the crossbow does not require manual reload until 5 shots have been fired. Different types of crossbow bolts may be applies such as: Deadly bolts with no special affects, Sleep dart bolts that cause instant sleep in target shot that does not defend against the affects and incendiary bolts that explode and spread fire.

London Pistol A relatively powerful handheld pistol Corvo uses when he isn't trying to be stealthy. The masked man pulls this weapon out of a socket on his chest and fires it with spread bullets around the side, but one larger bullet in the centre. This means when he fires, the target in front of him receives the straight accurate bullet whereas everyone else is hit by stray shells. The pistol can be fired once before reloading.

Lord Protector Blade A black sword with a rotating claw attachment as a handguard. The blade can catch other blades in the claw and twist them to disarm the opponent giving Corvo the edge. The sword is about 2ft long and weight little.

Mask of the Assassin Corvo wears a mask to cover his identity. This mask can be seen in his appearance picture. The mask itself has no extra benefits other then added armour rating and the ability to zoom in with an additional lens over the eye sockets.

Springtrap A dangerous tool strapped to Corvo's waist that can be thrown down as a mine or places on a wall as a trap. When walked near, laser sensors detect movement causing elastic to snap, tossing shrapnel into the air in all directions that shreds those who are unlucky enough to be near it.
