Styn found himself walking along the street on the outskirts of Karakura town. He had really been putting his nose to the grindstone lately. There was so much to learn since he had left his home district to come and serve under the house patron Archduke Hobgoblin. Demon politics, the working and structure of Shadow Fall, intelligence reports on shinigami and other enemy forces, were all chipping away at his valuable free time. Lately it seemed that his previous lackadaisical days were nothing more then a dream.

To reward himself he was treating himself to a trip to Japan. He had already made stops all across the country, enjoying iconic scenes from some of his favorite anime and mangas. It was amazing that some of the cultural sites were still so well preserved, after so many centuries. So many things were different from the representation of his four hundred years old view of the land though. Most of the items in his collection were from before the winter war period, pre world war three era.

The demon found himself walking past a run down park. Spotting a bench he sat down with a sigh. In the distance he could make out the dome that shielded the area of Karakura proper. He had hardly expected to enter the city itself, but one didn't visit Japan without seeing the greatest city on the island nation. Perhaps it shouldn't have surprised him that the subdivisions that surrounded the dome were so downtrodden. The area lacked the safeguards that the central area provided as a matter of course.

Now that he was motionless and effectively vegetating on the the bench, he became aware of voices. Craning his neck to look behind him, he noticed in a corner of the park a small drama unfolding. Two young men had a girl boxed in on the far bench. At first it seemed like a small group of friends hanging out, but Styn began to notice the look of fear in the girl's eyes. She couldn't have been more then sixteen if the demon was any judge of human age.

"C'mon, don't be like that beautiful," the red haired young man who was sitting beside the girl said with a cocky grin. Extending his arm he reached behind the girl and grabbed her far shoulder, roughly pulling her close. "We're trying to show you a good time here, don't be so disrespectful."

The fear flashed stronger in the girl's face. She had long black hair and a distinctive Asian set to her features. Large black eyes were just started to moisten as the situation rapidly worsened. She seemed incapable of speech at the moment. Taking her silence for acceptance the young man leaned in and nuzzled the girls neck inhaling deeply.

"You smell nice beautiful, why don't we get out of here?"

The young man's bleach blond companion leered suggestively. He stood before the girl as opposed to seated beside her and leaned in until his face was mere inches from her own. At the same time the red haired thug leaned back and out of the way, content for the moment at least to let his friend have a turn at harassing the girl. "You wouldn't want to make us mad now would you sweetness?"

The area was not very populated, but there were a few other people in the park. Everyone was doing their best to pretend that they didn't see what was happening. Styn noticed averted gazes from all the other humans in the area, flickers of shame and discomfort on most of the faces. As soon as the demon returned his attention to the building conflict, the girl finally seemed to become aware of his scrutiny. A single tear finally broke free and trailed down the side of her face as she met Styn's gaze for a brief moment.

Blondie turned his head following her stare, eyes locking onto the passive demon in an overly aggressive manner. "What the fuck do you think you're looking at!?" The young man practically shouted.

This put Styn in a bit of a spot. He was hardly afraid of the punk, even if the outskirts were populated with an overabundance of spiritually aware humans, he hardly considered himself in danger. Still, it wasn't a great idea to announce to everyone present that there was a demon in the area. Blondie reminded Styn of the rampaging demons who used to try and terrorize his home district in the demon world. The best way to deal with such a personality was quick and with overwhelming force.

Then again it wasn't his problem. The tears of a human girl were hardly an effective motivation, he wasn't so nice to help someone for no reason. In the end Styn turned back to face forward, head tilting back, eyes closing. He didn't particular enjoy the suffering of others, but he also wasn't the hero type. The girl would just have to fend for herself, best thing for her was to get used to her lot in life early. The world wasn't always a kind place, the sooner she realized that the quicker she'd conform.

The two young men seemed to find his reaction amusing, but Styn was hardly moved to violence because of a few ignorant laughs. The demon tuned out their continued harassment and just relaxed into the bench. It had been a long day and it was nice to be off his feet for a bit. Moral dilemma was never his cup of tea and could be quickly forgotten.

Yoshino Kagerou

The Good Samaritan
It had been three grueling months since she had moved from the outskirts of Karakura Town to the bustling city known as Karakura Central. Three months since she had been forced to say goodbye to the people she had known since birth and trusted with her life. The friends she had gained throughout her time were also people she had departed so that her family could move to the city. Her parents had tried and failed to convince her that moving to Karakura Central would be a good idea. She didn't feel that they could fully understand the hardships that they had subjected their children to. Karakura Central was far more advanced than the outskirts, at least technology wise; due to her having lived out on the outskirts for her entire life, she was having a difficult time adjusting. But her parents had assured her that within no time she would be using the technology available in the city as if she had grown up with it, and she would meet plenty of friends as well, but she couldn't help longing for her home along the streets of outskirt Karakura Town.

That was probably why she found herself walking the streets of her childhood residence, which she really couldn't disclose to anyone for reasons unknown to her. She wasn't actually suppose to be outside the protection of the dome, but since her parents were off to work and Yuudai was attending the Karakura High School, there was ultimately no one there to prevent her from going. Besides, it wasn't like her parents had anything to worry about. She knew her way around the streets and she knew how to defend herself, she hand't done all that street fighting for nothing. And she hadn't even left the house empty handed, having brought along her trusty baseball bat. A weapon she could definitely use to break bones if she ever needed to. Thus she saw absolutely nothing wrong with taking a walk outside of the dome.

As she walked, she enjoyed the calmness of the day. It was quiet, the only sound coming from the crunching gravel underneath her feet and her shovel being dragged behind her. Her destination? She didn't have one, but there really wasn't a lot of options to choose from. Yoshino guessed she could always go and visit her friends, but the thought of spending the only day of freedom with friends didn't look appealing to her. Sure she hadn't seen them in months, this was her rare opportunity to do something outside of the city, and joining in her gang fights was not going to be fun. Thus she avoided her district, where her friends were going to be, and decided to stick around on the other side.

Yoshino turned into the run down park, a place she had only visited several times during her twelve year stay. Though the park hadn't received any sort of treatment for a while, it still appeared to be in relatively good shape. At least good enough shape that people still visited the place regularly.

She decided she would rest here for a bit, making her way to one of the many benches that littered the park. She collapsed onto the bench, sighing as her eyes closed, blocking off the sun. She sat there, arms relaxed and smile on her face as she enjoyed the quietness that the park presented. The peacefulness of the park only helped to solidify something she already knew: the outskirts of Karakura Town were far more peaceful than that of Karakura Central. And she would had stay there if she hadn't felt an odd disturbance within the air.

Yoshino cracked an eye open, searching for the one responsible for it. Her eyes found a group of three that caught her attention, the group being made of two boys and a girl. Most would had assumed them to be friends, but the air that filled the park had her thinking differently. She was good when it came to picking up on things, and she could see that the two boys and the girl were not friends. Even more, she could see that the girl didn't seem all that comfortable, and that the two boys didn't appear to have good intentions.

She began to get up from the bench, baseball bat held tightly within her hand as her eyes narrowed. Yoshino was prepared to launch into action, but before she took a step one of the male individuals shouted. Her eyes snapped over to the one being shouted at, wondering if he would get up and defend the girl from the two boys, but he hadn't. It was quite shocking to her, but than again no one else within the park was going to do anything either.

No matter, she would defend the girl. With a brisk walk she headed towards the three individuals, her baseball bat dragging behind her. She walked pass the young man that had failed to do something about the two boys, sparing him a single glance before turning her eyes back to the target. And once she was a ten feet away, she slung the baseball bat over her shoulder, placing her free hand upon her hip as she stared.

"I can't believe this, chivalry has truly died," Yoshino mumbled, shaking her head softly before turning her attentions back to the boys. “I shall advise you young lads to move away from the young lady, unless you would like me to break every bone in your body with this baseball bat,” she said, her voice filled with menace as she pointed the baseball bat at the two boys. She glanced between the two, ready for a fight to break out. But she hoped that they would leave in peace, especially since she preferred that her steel bat not be stained with blood.

The day had gone by with little to no complications for the Demon, to think that so many people were stupid enough to get in his way and even more were dumb enough to accept what the terms of his 'contracts' were. Still as Reigen made his way through Karakura he found himself off in the outskirts probably due to his own wanderlust and usually finding many down and outs who were perfectly happy to give away what ever they had left to gain a sliver of hope from a creature that only wished to give them a bit more despair before the end. However what he found out in these boonies was not the expected unfortunates but instead a bunch of hoodlums making the moves on a girl who clearly seemed distressed at their actions, Reigen wouldn't usually find much interest in such things but much like a slow news day he was finding anything that could fill the gaps of his time and besides he couldn't stand a woman crying, unless he was the one who made her teary-eyed. Within the shadows of the park the well-dressed Demon took his position he stood out of place in such a run down area in such fancy clothing but right now it was more like a hunter outfit so as to take down his prey. As the Demon caught sight of the girl and the thugs harassing her he also caught in his line of sight another, there was something.... Different about the person as if they were not of the human world but their pressure was unlike a Shinigami... Reigen very rarely met his own kind around the city but he was happy to see that they were so hard at work not even taking the chance to take time out of their day for a bit of strenuous exercise...

The shadowy figure began to move closer to the bench were the action was beginning, as he moved slowly another joined in on the entertainment that was occurring within Reigen's eyesight. This one was a human and a brave one at that, she made to threaten the men and asked them in the least effective way possible to leave the girl alone. The sight was too much for the Demon to bear he never liked that so many people thought that the best way to eliminate a problem was to make a angry declaration of the enemies negative actions. As the Demon moved closer the two men would see him as he entered the light of the park lights, suave and sophisticated the Demon's smile as he moved towards the two would be unnerving for even the most hardy human. "O-oi! what you want some to Green-ha---" The blonde man would not get the time to keep talking as the suited gentleman would be right in front of him as he outreached his hand Reigen swiftly moved to break the little man's neck without much effort on his own part. "You see its a lot more effective to not give a warning that way the thugs are too distressed at the sight of their friends dying to understand the situation...~" The Demon directed his rather gruesome advice to the girl that had made the threat to the men only a few moments earlier, he felt that her knowing the best way to deal with such a situation may be more helpful in the long run rather than making idol threats with a prissy bat.

Horror came upon the other goon's face the man next to him was dead before he hit the ground and like many cowards when strength or numbers went against him he ran without hesitation. "All that blustering and they couldn't even make much more than a pitiful whimper of a stand...." Taking off his hat Reigen put his hand through his hair before placing the well suited hat back on in a cool manner. The young woman behind him was distressed clearly she just saw a man die in front of her and the one who did it had no real reason behind it other than they were loud and acting rudely to her. As she looked up the piercing yellow eyes of the Demon would stare at her as a easy smile came on his face. "Don't worry I don't have any intention of doing anything nearly as bad as those goons were going to...." As the Demon left the girl clearly distressed and otherwise shaken to the core he turned to the man on the bench that seemed to share his demonic disposition. As the well-dressed man walked towards the other Demon ignoring the body in his way he would also ignore the other human in the mix. The girl wasn't much harm to Reigen and besides he did her work for her so really he was nothing but in the right in that respect.

Getting closer to the other demon Reigen stood staring at the man with a sneaky grin seemed he was one of those stern silent types from the well-dressed Demon's first look at him but that would depend on his reaction to Reigen's actions. "So what's a Devilish man like you doing in a place like Karakura I haven't caught many of the Demon persuasion on this side of the giant shield bubble. So what's your story mister somber and why would you be so mean as to let a bunch of thugs keep harassing a young lady as well as insult you! I mean come on man! It isn't good for your image..." The joking Devil was having fun with meeting a new Demonic face in Karakura as so he might have been a little more talkative than usually but he'd be damned if it wouldn't be a fun night.

Just a tourist[FINISHED] Empty Re: Just a tourist[FINISHED]

The sound of soft footsteps caused Styn to glance up. A small female human was crossing in front of him. The first thing the demon noticed were her deep pink eyes, that seemed to judge him in a way uncommon to someone her apparent age. The next was how in miniature she was, if Styn were a fan of tiny cute girls he'd already be grabbing a camera to snap a keepsake. Heavens, the clothes barely fit her, something that would have been cause for amusement if judgement hadn't flashed to determination in those pink orbs. The demon felt a moment of uneasiness instead.

The locked gazes only lasted a moment, but several things might be apparent to someone good at reading faces. Styn was surprised by the direct gaze, normally his eyes would slide away from such contact immediately. The demon was also not guilty or ashamed, a common feeling that would follow being even slightly challenged on his actions, or lack thereof. His gaze seemed tired, but not in a physically exhausted manner. Lastly, he was not nervous, he was not afraid. There were no traces that he found himself in any way threatened. The demon was the first to break the gaze upon recovering his equilibrium, eyes sliding away in a manner very typical for him.

Styn's head turned as Yoshino made her way over toward Blondie and his impromptu park party. Given the look in her eyes it was no surprise when she immediately threatened the young men. Despite being well dressed, the girl was carrying a very thug like baseball bat, something that the demon hadn't noticed until just then. Styn's spirit sense was not very sharp, as such he couldn't actually tell how things would work out for the girl by just looking. He had been too shocked when she was close to get a good feel for her strength. The demon wished her the best of it though, he had nothing against heroes, he just wasn't one himself.

Things were beginning to escalate. The park quickly emptied as human sheep made themselves scarce. It was one thing to witness the potential assault of a young woman, it was completely different to have that violence unfold in front of their eyes. Styn shook his head at the contrary nature of the situation, but he couldn't say that demon kind was better. The weak either served the strong or scurried away, any attempt at imposing order only lasted as far as the reach and power of an organization enforcing it.

The entire scenario changed as a suited gentleman walked into the park. There was a fluid grace to the man's movements. Reigen's eyes had only seemed to need an instant to assess the situation before he was in motion, long legs quickly closing the distance toward the present conflict. During that walk those cold eyes pierced Styn for just a moment causing the demon to shiver slightly. Now might be a good idea for him to leave the park as well. The younger demon was suddenly feeling less secure.

Before he could put thought into action, there was a dead young man, and in a flurry of survival driven speed, the red haired thug disappeared into a nearby side street. The formally harassed young woman seemed stunned by her fortuitous turn of fate, but in no way did she look grateful. The slow widening of her eyes and dropping of her jaw showed that it would be minutes before she was even able to properly process what had just happened. Reigen's words might not have even registered properly.

Styn couldn't say he was surprised when Reigen began to make his way over to the bench where he still sat. The younger demon's eyes shifted toward Batgirl, wondering briefly how she was taking all of this, before snapping back to the approaching figure. He felt uncomfortable with an obvious killer being so close. An effort of will was enough to reach out and seize all of the Za Koa he could hold in his current form. There would however, be no stirring of the air or spiritual pressure to accompany this action. Someone with spiritual sensitivity would be able to detect the increase in strength, but not in a way that would affect them physically. Any overflow was generally trapped by his passive Akuma Kyodo, as Styn felt it was more effective to boost his defense then to try and intimidate his foes. He showed no signs of using any of the gathered energy though, as his head tilted to the side in confusion. Reigen clearly knew what he was, but his manner didn't seemed shocked or even aggressive.

This close, Styn should be able to pick up something about the man, but the looming figure was like a black hole to his already blunted spiritual senses. The younger demon's eyes shifted up and down the gentleman's tall lanky form, and his eyes widened in sudden recognition. "Reigen Akogi," Styn breathed in surprise. The Immoral Dealer was a legend, operating undetected in the human world longer then any other demon that Styn knew of. It was possible that the Knight was wrong, but the description matched the file. From what he knew, Reigen was also a notorious lone wolf, refusing to join Shadow Fall or any other organization.

Still, it would be best to say something to mitigate that reveal of the killer's name before he felt the need to kill again. "Styn of Shadow Fall," the seated demon said, in a way to explain his source of information. In addition, it wouldn't hurt to plant the idea that harming Styn might have farther repercussions then wiping off some blood. A flick of his hand toward the sight of the recent drama would direct the focus of the demon's next words. "Queen Mana wants the areas not in her control destabilized, she wants the humans to welcome her rule. What her majesty wants Shadow Fall delivers."

Styn's words were pitched low, not a whisper, but more of an inside voice as opposed to an outdoor one. It would not be unlikely at all for Yoshinio to fail to hear such utterances. "Was killing him really necessary? Someone of your power should have had no trouble subduing an insect like that with non lethal force?" Styn challenged with good humor. He would remain seated, holding onto all of the Za Koa he could muster without shifting forms. A perceptive gaze would note the slight up and down motion of his right knee, and how his left hand clenched lightly on his pant leg. False bravado aside, Styn had no idea what Reigen was doing here and didn't like it.

At that moment the young woman, still seated on the bench, began screaming at the top of her lungs. The Knight of the First Circle raised an eyebrow as if his point had just been proven, although what point that was would be debatable.

Yoshino Kagerou

The Good Samaritan
She hadn't expected the seeming perfect day to suddenly go south. How could she? It wasn't like she had planned for herself to be at that park, or had she planned for herself to attempt to save a young lady from two idiots, nor had she planned to be witness to the death of one of the two morons. If she had known someone was going to die, she would had walked right pass the park or at least made preparation to avoid such a tragedy. The actions that had led to the death of the blond were few and simple to say the least: a well-dressed man entered the park - shame she hadn't noticed until after the blond was dead -, well-dressed man advanced towards the two goons, well-dressed man snaps the neck of the blond whilst also directing advice on how to properly dissolve a situation towards her, and the red-haired goon making himself sacred so that he may not suffer the same death as his friend. All actions taking place within the span of less than a minute. And where most would had left the park upon committing a murder, the well-dressed killer said something to the girl before walking towards the young man that had failed to do something about the goons.

Though she had not had the pleasure of bearing witness to death, Yoshino did not find herself reacting in the way she thought she would. She believed that if she ever had to witness death, that she would turn into a big mess. Instead of feeling fear, anger, denial, or any other emotion normally associated with death, she found herself calm. Perhaps she was only this way because the blond was insignificant in her life, but she felt that she should be feeling something other than calm. It didn't make much sense to her that she had so easily accepted the death, and properly wouldn't for a while.

Thus instead of feeling distraught in some way, she found herself watching the movements of the man as he went pass her. She watched him until he was standing near Styn. Once Reigan was with Styn, she tuned the two out. Her eyes drifted from the man back to the lifeless body that had been left on the ground so carelessly, determining the man was no threat to her being nor anyone else in the park. But rather or not those who had not gotten themselves out of the park before the death would come to the same conclusion was an entirely different thing. She advanced herself towards the still body, bending down so she could observe the body better. She wasn't looking at the damage, more of the face that expressed shock. She stayed there for a couple seconds before standing back up, turning her back to the body as her eyes came to rest on the two conversing men.

Yoshino made her way over to them, prepared to tell Reigan that since he had killed the blond, it was his job to dispose of the body. Her bat was back to being dragged behind her as she approached the two older men, her pace slow. Though she had many questions for the two men, none was more important than getting rid of the body. People tended to panic when faced with someone who had died, becoming paranoid that there was a killer on the loose. And she only wanted to avoid the panic that would commence once someone realized that the blond was dead. But she found herself too late. For as a woman screamed, panic was sure to settle in.

She would frown deeply as her ears rung with the woman's scream, causing her thoughts to become jumbled up in her head. But she knew what she would say to Reigan now. And it had nothing to do with getting rid of the dead body. "You sir are a major idiot for having killed that blond in a park. Before attempting to give someone advice about how they should deal with situations, you should learn how a community works. Due to your inability to rid the park of the boy that you killed, a mass panic shall now commence. Thus turning this normally quiet place into a scream fest. Do you have anything to say for yourself?" said Yoshino. Her voice sounded much like a mother chastising their child. The gestures she had done while talking didn't help much either, especially the wagging of the finger. But as long as she got the point across that Reigan was stupid, everything was okay - except the screaming of course.

The scene was as usual, bleak. Honestly the few people who were left as the park emptied and Reigen did the deed were too far to see what was transpiring now, but with the few who were around him Reigen's actions seemed to give a lot more anger or fear than usual. As he stood above the other Demon in the park the Dealer noted the rather nervous tone of the younger creature, it seemed that the boy was trying all his hardest not to sprint away from the scene after the well-suited Gentleman made his appearance known. As the boy seemingly shifted to look at Reigen all the while seeming rather awkward while sitting down he looked at the man standing in front of him with shock and some fear seemingly as he recited the name of the Demon before him. "Ah you know no matter how many times I hear my own name it seems to be fresher everyday..." As he confirmed his identity the other Demon gave his introduction Styn of Shadowfall..... "Oh you're one of the Demon world's favorite band of plucky young Demons trying to do good by yourselves huh?" The tone was nothing if condescending Reigen had nothing against Shadowfall, its just that they tended to be rather stuck up or do what the one in front of him now had use the organisation for a shield expecting some sort of reprieve from the demon. Styn made his comments on why he was there to cause chaos and gather more power for the Queen of all Demons Mana to laud over the human realm in all her glory, Reigen smiled faintly as he made his point against such reasoning. "Mana wants a lot of things I'm sure, the human world on a platter, Touketsu to be free and have the gift of immortality, maybe a locked room and her sister Ashlei... But for one thing I know is that she may only have one of these things..... Maybe two if she aggressive..." The Demon joked but continued on. "You say that you were sent to Karakura to stir up chaos? Heck I could do more with a sparkler and a water pistol than you could with your true form... I don't think Mana or anyone else would let you come to the Human world and then lollygag either would they?...." The boy seemed nervous slight twitches as he look at the Demon, Reigen was always watching for the slightest hint of weakness and this guy seemingly reeked of it.

As the boy looked over to the body he asked why Reigen would not take the non-lethal solution, the gentleman sniggered a bit as he looked down again. "Why? Well I'm not a fan of thugs especially ones that start making moves on a girl in such an unsightly manner its kind of weird...." The girl began to scream.... "And let me tell yo-- Eh? Ahhhh.... I gotta take this..." Throwing out his hand a chain would flow past the younger girl coming towards them and then into the woman. However the weapon would simply pass through her and as she tried to scream as it came back to Reigen no noise would come to her lips. "Ahh much better, a voice is so easily taken once you start abusing it..." Attention seemingly turned however to the other human in the two Demons vicinity the young girl with a bat... Strangely this was not the strangest sight Reigen had seen today... The first words to come out of the young woman's mouth was the appraisal of the Demon as an idiot....?

Passing the girl with little to no interest in her person the well-dressed Demon looked at the body he had turned from lifeless drone into lifeless corpse, with his chain he touched the body once more, the girl sitting there would have screamed louder had her voice not been taken for sure but as the Demon arose the features of the body changed. The damage to the neck and vertebrae had healed itself seemingly by some miraculous occurrence, as the Demon looked as his work he took a sigh of tiredness. "Ah no wounds, no sign of damage, man must of died of a heart attack, probably hopped up on a new drug and went into arrest while his little friend ran off..." The Demon turned back to the girl with his eyes opening slightly to look down at the angry little ball of spite. "Do I have something to say? Well firstly that bat makes you look ridiculous....Just saying. Then I guess that if I want you opinion on how I do my work then you should ask nicely if you are allowed to talk then maybe I'll have the good grace to let you speak. Lastly I think its important for me to say that, I've been doing this whole.... Being alive thing a lot longer than you, I've probably been killing longer too, so perhaps testing my patience with you schoolyard comments might make you think that I have found so many ways to hurt a person and I'm not above children...." The threat was clear and at this point it wasn't entirely aimed to scare just her the aura he let off gave a murderous intent for either of the parties there, he was just waiting for one to make a move...

So far Styn felt like he was in a game of Texas Holdem with his life on the line. The Knight would make a play and get a response, in many ways not the reaction he wanted. Instead of being thrown off by Styn's information, Reigen seemed to delight in his infamy. Far from being impressed by his association with Shadow Fall, The Immoral Dealer was mocking and aggressive. Styn wasn't so fervent that the slighting way Reigen spoke of Queen Mana upset him in any way, but he was constantly being out maneuvered. Styn had the sinking feeling that he was an open book to the older demon.

Still, nervousness was not fear. Reigen's respect was not necessary, his tolerance however was. The Immoral Dealer had misconstrued the Knight's presence to mean that he was on a sanctioned Shadow Fall mission. This was not the case. As far as Styn knew, Karakura was not an active target. If Reigen was currently operating in the area, it might not be a bad idea to let him know that the territory was uncontested as far as the organization was concerned.

"Mr. Akogi, I can assure you that Shadow Fall is not moving in force into this area," Styn would quickly try to assure the older demon. "I would be the last one to want to interfere with any business you have in the city at the moment. My purpose in the area today is pleasure, I happen to enjoy Japanese culture is all." Styn was not above lying, but in this case his words happened to be entirely correct. He would try to convey that simply, relying on the truth of his statement to speak for itself.

There was no need to mention that he had more then earned a few hours off. Styn had been hard at work these last few weeks. Part of the reason he was only nervous and not crapping his pants in fear was his last mission. Reigen Akogi was no doubt a powerful force to be reckoned with. His menace and strength paled in comparison to that of Uliqorra Cifer though. If Styn could survive an encounter with a living legend of that caliber, he would find some way to live through this as well. Besides, while aggressive and confident, the Immoral Dealer still seemed to be in a playful mood. Especially illustrated by the fact that the body count hadn't risen since his first show of force.

The appearance of Reigen's chain of greed caused Styn to give a slight start. Little was known about the Immoral Dealer's actual abilities. Most who witnessed them ended up dead as far as the Knight knew. Judging by the effect and Reigen's own words, the attack seemed to have the ability to silence a foe. There was something weird about the way that the older demon had explained it though. Was it possible that the chain had different functions beyond silencing? Styn was just glad that more bodies didn't litter the ground. It was in his experience that once a killer started doing his thing, it only became easier from there.

As Yoshino began to dress down the older demon, Styn winced. He knew that there was little he could do to for the girl if Reigen decided to take mortal offense. Maybe Styn was over analyzing things, but he somehow didn't think that the girl's chances of survival would increase if he were to butt his nose into their conversation. The Knight could only hope for the best, as he admired her courage if nothing else. It was another well documented set of life lessons, that courage and lifespans were inversely proportional to each other. What kind of valor someone would need to display, to be reaped at an age as young as Yoshino, wasn't something Styn wished to witness this day. He really didn't have anything against heroes after all. Even short baseball bat wielding ones.

Styn let out a breath he hadn't realized he's been holding when Reigen decided not to take offense. The relief quickly transformed into confusion as the same looking chain made another appearance. This time it affected a set of physical changes, which completely baffled the younger demon. Was this the same ability or a different one? Was there a trick that he was failing to understand? Styn stored the information away for later contemplation. It wouldn't do to express too much interest in The Immoral Dealer's arsenal of tricks though.

The story Reigen wove mockingly, was actually pretty reasonable. However, Styn somehow doubted that the demons would be telling it to the local law enforcement. If the two girls were paying attention they would realize that the official story had been determined for them. The Knight couldn't be sure how much information the voiceless girl was processing. In fact she looked utterly at her limit. With a start, she shot to her feet and took off at a dead sprint, running in a different direction from the red haired thug earlier.

Before the Immoral Dealer turned his attention back to Yoshino, Styn attempted to catch the girl's eye. He titled his head toward Reigen and then shook his head slightly with an overly worried expression on his features. The message was plain if she had the skill to read it. This was not a man to fuck with. The girl was handling the previous death far better then she had any real right to, a sign of maturity that might save her life today. It did briefly make the Knight curious as to what sort of upbringing she had experienced. Normally young humans didn't respond well to such mortal trauma, even if they were not on the receiving end of it.

As the older demon began with his own verbal assault, Styn's gaze shifted again, as motion to the left caught his attention. It would seem that they were about to have company. A band of heavily tattooed thugs poured into the park, hooting and hollering, and making a general spectacle of themselves. Styn began to hope for the first time since the death. This might be just the sort of distraction required. Reigen seemed to be in the mood to blow off some steam, the girl was a practical paragon of justice, and Styn just wanted to show his good will. Nothing quite like a common enemy to unite a group of complete strangers.

There were about ten of the hooligans. Most of them were young men, but there was also a young women or two who should have known better, sprinkled in the mix. They carried an assortment of chains, knives, and spiked knuckles. There was something weird about their movements and the sense of energy that connected them. With a start of shock, Styn realized that their tattoos were actually demonic sigils. Normally this would amuse the demon, silly human's miming their betters. However, these symbols were pulsing with an infernal red light, identical to Akuma Kyodo.

It shouldn't be possible. There was no doubt that these were humans, and yet Styn could detect faint traces of Za Koa. Of all spiritual power it was the easiest for him to identify. None of the gang attacked directly. They seemed content to run through the park, surrounding the three remaining occupants in a loose circle. For those with a better spirit sense then Styn, it would be obvious that they were all mid to low level tier fours.

If they were allowed to have a moment to congregate, the circle would break apart and a giant of a man would step forward. By his side would be the red haired thug from earlier. "That's him Akihiro, he's the one who killed Goro," the young man would declaim with an air of menace.

"You've messed with the wrong gang," the supposed leader would say in a very calm and collected manner. "Everyone else has already learned not to cross the Karakura Demons, I guess its your turn to get schooled." The impressive specimen was at the peak of tier three, hardly a real challenge for Reigen, but the look of the crowd was not one intent to watch. It was going to be a good old fashioned brawl. What the thugs didn't have in power, they more then intended to make up with numbers.

Of course it was completely possible that the introduction would never happen. At the first sign of violence from any of the three in this little drama, the entire gang would attack en mass with screams of "Karakura Demons!" In such a situation the large, blond haired leader would calmly walk through the chaos of battle. His weapon of choice would be a simple set of black leather gloves and his eyes would promise vengeance as he honed in on Reigen Akagi. Styn and Yoshino would hardly be spared and would need to defend themselves against the possibility of multiple opponents, although most of the gang would be focused on exacting punishment on The Immoral Dealer.

Either way violence was all but assured, further death would only inflame the crowd.

Yoshino Kagerou

The Good Samaritan
Yoshino hadn't expected Reigan to suddenly get on his knees and ask god for his forgiveness, that would be too easy and perhaps a little cliche. If the demon had chosen that path, she would had found it highly amusing to say the least. Yet sadly such a form of mild entertainment would not happen. Instead, she watched as chains launched from Reigan repaired the damage, and listened as he nonchalantly came up with a logical reason for the blond's death. Or at least a reason the authorities would easily accept since most weren't smart enough to ask for further details; though why would they look into a sudden death when they didn't have to?

It sadden her that such an event would be chalked up as really nothing for the authorities. Blond would be written as someone who died by drugs, and she highly doubt that the young lady the demon had saved would say anything to dispute such a story. It would be more trouble for her in the long run than her just stating that the boy suddenly keel over dead.

She closed her eyes, sighing deeply as she had the urge to shake her head in disapproval. But it wasn't like she could say much to the demon, he did cover up any signs of the blond having been murdered, an ability she hadn't expected the well-dressed man to have. Her eyes reopened, and she caught a glimpse of Styn shaking his head at her. It was like he was warning her to back off before she ended up as one of Reigan's victims. And though it irritated her, she guessed that since no harm was no longer found there would be no reason for her to engage the demon in a heated fight.

The thought of her going home without having been in a fight actually sounded nice to Yoshino, but that thought immediately left her mind as Reigan began to speak. His first words after explaining the blond's cause of death had been addressed to how ridiculous it was for her to be carrying around a baseball. She found herself gritting her teeth, her eyes narrowed, and she had an urge to curl her hand into a face. Than that anger had been briefly dissipated as he continued to speak. Never in her entire life had she believed she needed permission to comment on anything, especially since it was her god giving right to voice her opinions when ever she pleased. Thus for Reigan to state that she should had nicely asked to speak before words flew out of her mouth felt like bricks had been dropped upon her, metaphorically speaking.

The anger that had been dissipate before returned in full force. She had a couple of thoughts race through her head, a few consisting of her taking the lovely baseball bat within her hand to Reigan's face. Than he could see how ridiculous it was for her to carry her bat around. It wasn't for decorations, far from it. Yoshino used the bat often to beat the crap out of people, though she hadn't been doing that lately. But due to her anger, which could be deemed a bit childish, she was having thoughts of using against Reigan. And if Styn was associated with the man, than him as well, though he had been the one to warn her that messing with Reigan wasn't the best idea for her.

"You…" Yoshino snarled, her fist clenched as she held back her childish rage. She wasn't stupid enough to suddenly charge the man in a blind fury, especially since she had little chance of beating Reigan into a bloody pulp. That, and going by the shaking of Styn's head, it was a fight that Reigan would win with little effort. And thus, wasting her time on a fight she wouldn't win was not in her plans. Thus she cut herself off before the rest of the words that succeeded 'you' would not flow from her mouth.

Instead, Yoshino closed her eyes, taking deep breathes so that she may calm her nerves before striking a conversation with Styn. It would be bad on her image if she would to lash out at someone that had done nothing but help her. And thus once she calmed herself enough to push Reigan's comment to the side, she directed her now open eyes to Styn. A smile crossed her face, a sign to herself and the males that she would not act like an ill-tempered child, no matter how much Reigan's comments bothered her.

As words began to form on her tongue, but such words died on her lips as she noticed movement from the corner of her eyes. And though it should had been normal since they were in a park, there was too much movement for her liking. Her attentions turned to the newly arrived gang members, who had decided to surround Styn, Reigan, and herself in a rather sloppy circle. For a split second she wondered who the hell taught them how to make a circle, though that question was immediately discarded when she noticed their array of weapons and than the blond's friend from earlier.

Yoshino had almost forgotten that the red-haired thug had been friends with the deceased blond. She had hoped that he would return home, think over what he had been doing with his life, wonder if he wanted to join his blond haired friend in death, than make a change to his life. But she guessed that was too much to ask of someone who must have a extremely low IQ.

She had wished to go home without having gotten herself into a fight, but that was just far top much for her to ask of the universe. And since she doubt that the thugs surrounding the two demons and herself would allow her to leave in peace, she readied herself for a fight. This fight would force her to temporarily ally herself with Reigan and Styn, though she wasn't sure how that would work out, she could do nothing about it.

"This is truly turning out to be the worse day ever."

The two other than Reigen seemed to be quite amazed or at least stunned by the nature of the disappearance of the wounds from the blonde's body his skill was not know to many in the demon world mostly due to his own discomfort of giving such information for free but nonetheless with the body clean of body damage and prints it did seem that the coast was proverbially clear. As the Demon finished up Styn seemed to make efforts to placate his wondering on the Shadowfall operations in the area. "But now you just said before that your mission here was to act in the interest of Mana for the disruption of the town... Could you be lying to me Styn?" The question held a seemingly malicious intent as if the man was about to strike like a snake coiled and ready but in a moments notice his face went from dark inquisitor to goofy smiling as he had a sly chuckle on the affair. "Oh sorry that was a joke on my part, I really don't care what you're here for if its a cultural trip then by all means you can hang around a bit, just don't start causing trouble anywhere I can see you I'm not a fan of Demons going around and acting the fool."His words of advice given to the other of his kind he noted that the young girl he had made to look the fool seemed to be getting angry at his own dress down of her 'oh so wise' comments to him the girl seemed to grit her teeth and let the anger seethe as Reigen continued. "Well nice to know that even with such a good hold of the world such a girl can still have a temper tantrum..."

Mocking aside the Demon noted that the girl he silenced earlier began to run off, good idea it seemed this part of town was starting to get all sorts of nasty... "Huh not like she'll be able to speak until I allow it but guess I can give her and voice." When the girl was a good distance away the Demon granted her back what he took though to use a voice on the actions occurring around her would be an idea that might haunt her. However the fleeing girl was not the new item to arise, now it was the many thuggish characters screening into the park from many of the entrances. They outnumbered the few that where there by quite a large margin but with their entrance all Reigen could do was smile."Ah looks like more people want my advice on life and how to end it..." The gang gathered around the three in an unorganized circle the few that were there had something....Different....Ah! Demonic Energy! It was nice for Reigen to see those of the youths of the city to be so willing to give up their humanity for the sake of a tattoo that made them feel strong, the Demon walked to the precipice of the circle as the eyed each of the gang members it seemed the biggest one had some issues to resolve with the demon on the death of the blonde. "What was he a friend? Brother? Secret boyfriend? Whatever it was you as a group are about as scary as the gang in a Saturday morning cartoon..." Even with Za Koa powering the large man Reigen cared little for the threats of those beneath him both in general class and just naturally...

It seemed that the insults to the heavy caused four of the few there to begin their assault on the Demon it was cute that humans could be so riled up. "One, Two, Three, Four."As the gentleman started to move he made to recite numbers as he swiftly moved through the thugs, his movements flowed like water a dance like form of combat as he passed each man as they threw themselves at him Reigen would remove them from the combat by breaking one of their ligaments or extremities until he was at the last man. The last one had a great plan of brandishing a knife at the Demon, smart not to go in all at once but the weapon would be worthless as a chain would whip from Reigen's coat, the chain would strike the man not to kill and strain around his hand to touch the knife still in momentum. As the weapon touched the other the blade would strike... The man previous next to the big guy the red head fell to the ground from the sudden impact as Reigen finished his display in elegant fashion. "And that makes five." Looking at the big guy then back to the other Demon with a unnerving grin the well-dressed monster claimed."I'm not a fan of telltales not much more than death is their deserving punishment..." Before he could take another step the Demon looked at the young lady that was so openly hating her position the Demon smiled as he waited on the enemy to make their move. "Well if your so stressed how about you take some aggression out, maybe if you impress me I'll let you take a swing at me little miss..." Still patronizing the Demon waited with fire in his cat-like eyes he was going to enjoy this....

Just a tourist[FINISHED] Empty Re: Just a tourist[FINISHED]

Due to the rapidly filling park, Styn had failed to notice Yoshino shifting her attention toward him. In the events that followed, neither would have much time to exchange more then grunts and quick shouts. Styn had the brief satisfaction of watching Reigen at work, before a quick count of the remaining thugs showed that he didn't have the time to admire his fellow demon. He had already been filled with as much Za Koa as was possible unshifted. It was an effortless directive of will to send it pooling into his fist. Holding up the empowered right hand palm facing forward, the demon chanted. "Oh, Touketsu, unleash the lost souls upon these fools," Styn muttered in a low pitched voice.

A Psycho Skull rocketed out from his right hand, dipping under a park bench before connecting with the surprised face of one of the charging thugs. The projectiles were a sort of demon smart bomb, this rendition was covered in crimson flames. The resulting concussive force sent the boy hurtling several meters through the air to bounce across the less forgiving asphalt. A second skull was promptly dodged by the next foe, causing Styn a shock of alarm. The triggered explosion did manage a glancing blow, dispersing Not Quite's momentum. If they were quick enough to dodge they would be quick enough to strike, hardly reassuring.

Trusting to physics and a quick glance taken mere moments before, the demon raised his left hand sharply and released the last Psycho Skull blind. The soft sigh of breath leaving a body and was most satisfying. Although he didn't have time to really appreciate the sight himself, Styn was sure that another thug was being propelled from the park. The demon very much doubted that either of the three were out of the fight, but for now he just had one charging where before there had been four.

Pivoting lightly the Knight flickered his left hand toward the gang banger. The young man threw himself to the side, having learned that a close dodge would not clear him from the blast radius. Of course the action was not needed as a fourth demonic skull did not appear. It was nice to know that bluffing could work at least. That left Styn with what he imagined to be several seconds to reevaluate the battle field. A sharp and agonizing pain in his side quickly disabused him of such a notion. In pure instinct filled reaction, he shifted to his true form and whipped his right hand in a backhanded swipe.

The spinning strike met only air, and found him facing a foe who had already removed a now bloody knife from his side. The demon could only imagine the prancing, cocking backward steps the thug had taken after landing the blow. Lucky Strike grinned like a maniac as he tossed the knife from hand to hand. Catching Styn's eye he brought the blade up to his mouth and licked the demon's blood. The acidic nature neither surprised or repulsed the human. Instead Lucky Strike's eyes lit up with, oddly enough, recognition. "Akihiro! this guy's a demon!" he called out in glee. Not the expected reaction to be sure.

Styn meanwhile was on damage control. Demon's were shapeshifters by nature. Not many demon's had the regeneration aspects of hollows. The Knight had heard that Ninth Circle members had healing spells using Za Koa, but Styn didn't know any of them. How the young man had managed to pierce his Akuma Kyodo would have to wait. No, most demon's had to make do with a more primal response to damage. Every cell contained the legacy of their biology and what Za Koa couldn't fix it could change.

The first step was to transform the nerve cells in the area in a way that disabled the pain receptors, before Styn blacked out. Step two was a quick shift of the affected organ to allow it to function with a piece missing. Blood flow wasn't critical at this stage and would help to cleanse the wound, so that was left alone for now. The end result was not a refutation of the gaping wound, but a way to ignore it for now. It would seem that the younger demon wasn't going to escape this encounter unscathed.

Styn shifted backwards a few steps so Lucky Strike and Rolling Pin were both in view. Even now, Not Quite was shaking off his close contact and readying to rejoin the beat down. His quick recovery reinforced the demon's previously held thought that Face Check, and Grunter were definitely still going to be in the mix. Eye's flickering briefly toward Reigen assured Styn that The Immoral Dealer at least, was more then handling himself. A quick glance toward Yoshino would let him know where she stood. In the rush of pain he had actually missed Reigen's words, which was why he had no response.

"That's right young man, I'm a demon. Styn of Shadowfall to be exact. This might be your last chance to walk away alive, I'd suggest you take it," Styn said a bit out of breath. He doubted that he was going to be very intimidating with a knife wound, but Reigen had just grounded half the gang in his first rush, so weirder things had been known to happen. The mocking laughter that met his words put a bullet in that line of reasoning quickly though. They were in it for the long haul after all.
