There was little else the lazy young man found to do around the house at the time. Already he was cleaning up a few things, washing the dishes, and watching TV--simultaneously! Lethargic enough as he had already been, soon after discovering the latent talents he possessed, just imagine the horrible couch-potato he would become! If anything, it's a miracle that he's yet to grow any beer-belly. Though, not that he actually drank any beer, or any alcohol at all, for that matter. No matter how lawless the Outskirts of Karakura could get, this boy hadn't performed a single act against the law, to date. Of course, only to what he could recall; although, he did have quite the memory, so the lack of memory of breaking Karakura's rule sounded reliable. Well, reliable enough for himself, at least. And yet, the main reason for the boy's lack of troublesome antics probably stems from the feelings of not having any motivation that would drive him to break the rules. Anyways, regardless, he didn't quite fit in to such a place like Karakura--the Outskirts of it, that is.

Speaking of which, what was the boy doing living on the Outskirts of Karakura anyways? He's a BOY for crying out loud--just barely a second year in High School! Well, for one, he was far too lazy to actually find a decent place. The housing near the border between the outside of the shielding dome of Karakura and it's central were far cheaper than what was further from it--naturally. Thus, when searching for a home, and a cheap one at that, his own was one of the first to come up. It's like, why bother scrolling down just to find a house even remotely closer to within the more civil places of Karakura, even if it was just barely safer. Yes, yes, not many people can reach that level of laziness; well, this one did. Therefore, he would simply learn how to deal with it. However, the main concern on his mind when he moved here, and even now it was running across the back of his head, floating within the abyssal crevices of his deep and insightful brain--as far as a stretch these descriptions are--, was the worrisome thoughts of his doting parents. Despite his release into the wild jungle of society and being allowed to live alone, his parents would always call to check up on him, send him constant packages, and always make sure he knew they loved him dearly. So, a major predicament that might--nay, will--present itself, sooner or later, was their knowledge of his living here. In fact, on multiple occasions they would ask to visit him, and naturally, he would deny; as a matter of fact, the man's already highly impressed that they've failed to realise he was living in this sort of place already, despite the packages they send directly to his address.

While all these thoughts about his parents, as well as his current status of living along the Outskirts of Karakura ran vividly through his mind, he had simultaneously completed the task of washing the dishes, cleaning the living room, and finishing the episode shown on television. With the completion of these tasks, though one wasn't much of a task, there was little else needed to be done, in regards to the house's necessary sanitary duties. And despite him doing all this while sitting on his ass all day on the couch, he felt it appropriate to reward himself with a "break". And so, contemplating whether he should actually get up to go get a glass of juice and perhaps some cookies, rather than simply telekinetically completing all these tasks, a slight "pick-up" on his telepathy radar presented itself. In essence, there was a valid connection between his mind and another. Though he had used «Voice-Imprint» before to speak telepathically to others, it was a first for him to have another person capable of initiating it; and in turn, he could sense the fact that he was not alone in the category of "telepathics", not that there really was one.

Peaking his interest, as lethargic as he was, Even «Akiyoku Gozen» was capable of getting excited, albeit not expressively. And so, with this extra excitement boosting his 'energy' per se, as rare as it was, Akki got up himself and went to acquire some oral sustenance. Of course, Akki still was a lazy bastard, so simply a discovery of him not being the only person who could telepathically communicate wasn't enough to require that he actually take the time to move. Therefore, he had instead decided to create a force between his feet and the fluffy beige carpet beneath him, lifting himself from the ground. Along with a slight application of force from all around him so as to maintain balance, Akki made his way to the kitchen, floating a couple centimetres off the ground.

The boy passed through a decorative arch which connected the living room and the dining room. His living room probably a third larger, but both were spacious nonetheless. In fact, the whole house was much larger than the average suburban home, even within the civil, futuristic parts of town; although, none on the Outskirts, aside from privately built homes, were as technologically advanced as the ones further within, as far as Akki knew. In fact, his was quite out-dated, supposedly looking similar to some houses built at the turn of the millennium. Aside from his own furniture put in, most of the stuff already there was clean, but antique, matching the rest of the houses ancestral setting.

At the other end of the dining room from the arch he came through was another, this time connecting to the kitchen. Passing between the dining table and a few counters lined up along the wall, Akki went through this second arch, finally reaching his destination. Reaching for the refrigerator, the telepathic 'radar', so to speak, would increase, even jump, in presence, becoming further apparent to Akki. His curiosity heightened, wondering just who could possibly be the person to be responsible; even moreso, curious about the "jump". His pondering over the jump would then be answered, as Akki shifted his head, turning his whole body around, though still afloat, to be greeted with a green hole on his wall. What was also soon answered was who the person in question was--someone would then emerge from the hole, and what appeared to be the visage of a female would soon be shown.

Meeting of Psychics [Private] Empty Re: Meeting of Psychics [Private]

Fri Mar 28, 2014 7:08 am
The pink haired being sighed as she exited the garganta, staring at the outskirts of Karakura town that were only a couple dozen meters in front of her. Today she wore a white kimono with a red sash, her zanpakto tucked secretively in to the folds of this fabric. For now, she hoped no one would figure out who she was. Rubbing tiredly at her brown eyes, the woman took a deep breath in order to stabilize her emotions. Her worry and fear had been churning within her, and rightfully so. She was about to enter karakura town, a place where she would likely be seen as an enemy despite her peaceful reasons for visiting this place. She just needed a place to get away from everything, to spend time figuring out the issues that now plagued her being. Even the sands of heuco mundo, her former home, were not far enough away from those who might harm her. Something had drawn her here though, and so she followed, hoping for some peace.

Raising her hand upwards and outwards, Kor-tatha started on her plan to bypass the barrier around Karakura that would have stopped her from entering. Her psychic and spiritual energies began to form the base of her plan, the portal to the outskirts of Karakura city beginning to form. However, this was not the end of it, she needed another thing to bypass the teleportation security around the city. However, she already knew what it was that was needed. Almost all of the psychic energy being poured in to this portal was made from the minds within her that were not her own, and she had made sure that she used as little spiritual energy as possible to make this portal. Sure, this would mean that the portal would be both unstable and close very shortly after it was finished being constructed, but it was worth it because of the benefits it offered. Due to most of the energy being from the multiple minds within her, the systems within the city would have to spend time picking out her energy signature from the thousands that were in this one ability. As soon as the portal was ready, the being that was Kor-tatha stepped through, feeling her body being pulled through the rift in space.

Opening her eyes as the green portal behind her snapped shut with a screeching noise, it was now that she noticed that she was not alone. Floating before her was a black haired male, and immediately upon seeing him she put her arms up in a universal gesture of surrender. Her voice, softer then her usual haughty one, came over the telepathic link that was always there. Since she had become a hollow, she had not once tried to improve on her natural psychic talents, something she now wished she had.

‘I mean you no harm. I hope I didn’t startle you at all, the portal was slightly unstable due to necessities, and it was harder to place it exactly where I wanted. If you want, I can leave you be, though I would prefer some company that wasn’t one of the many voices in my head.’

She smiled softly, something that caused her to look younger then she had before. Whereas one might have thought her to be in her late teens or early twenties prior to her smile, the relaxation seemed to put her in to her later teens. For once she was glad for the many human minds she had devoured, those that helped retain her humanity despite her current situation. For now she just stood there with a sheepish look, awaiting the boy’s reaction.

((OOC: Sorry for the long wait. By the way, I'm going to use single quotes for telepathic communication, despite it being the only way Kor-tatha can communicate.))

His wondering in regards to the "jump" in his telepathic radar failed to go unanswered. Standing before him was, as rare as it was, what appeared to be a woman with naturally pink hair--not that Akki payed much heed to it, or knew for a fact that it was just that. Anyways, his suspicions about himself not being the only one with telepathic affinity seemed to be correct, as the woman initiated contact through only their minds. Her mouth failed to move, and it certainly didn't sound like actual sounds were being made from her. Nevertheless, it would seem that her words heavily intended for there to be no malicious actions taking place; especially considering the fact that her very first sentence was, ‘I mean you no harm...’

Regardless, even if she did mean harm Akki would take care of it, whether through fleeing in the case that he was unable to vacate her by force, or a situation where he could do just that would arise. Either way, he gave little care to her appearance, aside from the curiosity of her telepathic affinity. Thus, he would reply in question, 'You can speak through mind?'

His voice was crisp, albeit sent through «Voice-Imprint». The tone gravitated towards a light "bass" effect. He wasn't sure whether his words would be understandable to her, although she seemed to be native to Karakura--not that he could accurately be able to tell. Even if she didn't understand him, at the least he was able to comprehend the telepathic she sent to him, and perhaps that could be enough. If not, oh well. He'd just have to find a way to bypass the language barrier.

Shortly after asking, Akki applied pressure to his left side, turning him all the way around once again facing the refrigerator. On one hand, he did so with the aim to show benevolence. Turning one's back to the enemy is pure idiocy, therefore doing exactly that either meant you didn't see them as an enemy, or you really were just stupid. On the other hand, Akki really want to get something from the fridge--all in all, with these two valid reasons coinciding, the young man proceeded the action. However, it shouldn't hurt to actually be cautious, especially considering he knew nothing about her aside from the telepathy thing. Thus, his senses were acute, both in terms of psionics and the actual five senses.
