New Delhi, India - 07:55 June 5th.

The sky crashed down to the ground with a loud screech, striking a tree with searing light and setting it aflame. It was just nature, nature's way of righting itself; something not out of the ordinary. It frightened the animals in the area, causing an uproar among the dogs, causing a flock of birds to shoot up into the air and start to fly south. The birds in specific were an unusual sight, considering that rain poured down roughly upon the capital. You usually didn't see birds around during storms, as if they knew when one was rolling in before it appeared on the horizon even. However, something was odd about this one... it wasn't natural, and it came without warning. The birds had trouble flying through the storm; it was a strong one. Another strike of lightning lit up the gray skies again, overwhelming all sounds for a brief moment before the constant dither of the rain resumed its place. It was definitely a day to stay indoors, and yet a lone figure walked the paths of the great city, nondescript besides the black cloak draped over it. This person looked at their feet as they walked, moving slowly as though they were in no hurry to get out of the rain, yet seemingly straight and true in their path. They were on the long wide road toward the Rashtrapati Bhavan, normally a very busy street but understandably empty in this weather. The destination was quite obvious, as the only building ahead was that of the Bhavan. This was the heart of India's capital, once a home for the President, now the primary governmental building of the country. Throughout the years the building had improved and been modernized, without discarding the traditional Indian architecture. There was a lot of open space around it, making it stand out starkly, and especially during the dark it was lit up by thousands of alabaster lights. Beyond the estate were the Mughal Gardens, a landmark renowned around the entire world. The fields were filled with a wide array of colors of the plants and flowers collected throughout its lifetime, taking the record in both possessing the most types of different plants, but for being the largest garden to date. It was a sight to behold.

Today, a meeting had been called, giving as little warning to it as the storm had. While one man, Zefonse, had always run the country in name, he was never there in truth. There were still people who had to take care of his territory while he was off conquering other lands and leading his Rinyūaru organization. Those who submitted to his rule, he employed as government officials, and they were so whipped by his terrifying power that they dare not misbehave. And if he were to call them to a meeting, even in the middle of a powerful storm in the early morning, they would come without question. These people stood and waited in the lobby of the Rashtrapati Bhavan as they were told, just up the stairs and inside the entrance. They'd been here for a while waiting for the meeting to commence, though no concrete time had been listed for it to do so, and neither had Zefonse shown up just yet. So they huddled around like chickens, schmoozing among each other. It was mostly pointless dithering, but the occasional inquiry about the meeting popped up and no one would have the answer to it. Some were beginning to question whether the note was legitimate, though their deep fear for Zefonse continued to stifle them. One had to admit that he was certainly an impressive man, though his dominion wouldn't last much longer. Something unsettling simmered throughout the air; eerie; threatening. Footsteps clattered slowly up the steps of the Rashtrapati Bhavan with unnatural loudness, turning all heads toward the entrance. The cloaked figure would appear as a silhouette between the pillars, highlighted by a flash of light from the storm in the background. Thunder rolled in momentarily afterwards.

''Who are you?'' The question was asked quickly after the suspense sunk in. Obviously she was not the one they were expecting; shorter, thinner, and feminine in form. Some of them were afraid, because of the uncertainty of the situation and the direction this morning was seeming to drift towards. Others were oblivious to the weight of her sudden appearance, believing her little more than a little lost girl. Lastly were the people who were truly loyal to Zefonse, and did not see her as any sort of threat. The man who spoke was one of those types of people. ''And what are you doing? You are not supposed to be here, little girl. Go back to your home.'' The 'little girl' would of course not follow his directions, instead peeking out from under the hood of her cloak with an eye of crimson. It was difficult to see the rest of her face in the darkness of her shroud, and the lobby's light was just out of reach of it. She kept her silence, just letting them suffer idly. They were wanting answers and she would make them wait for them. She would make them do so much more for her in time, they just didn't realize it yet. Besides, the man had nothing to back his words up anyways—there was no security personnel in the building at this time; not alive anyways. Only these government officials were present, to their misfortune. Sure enough, the man would finally act, pulling out his radio and speaking into it for security. He would wait, and never hear a response in return no matter how many times he repeated his message into it. This is when it truly began to sink in for them that this was not going to be a normal day as usual.

''Zefonse Kaizme will not be joining us today, and neither will you detail of guards. In fact you may even notice that some of your brethren are missing for this meeting.'' And it was true, there were some who were not quite in any state to make it to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. There was blood on this woman's hands, as she'd made sure that those without the capability to cooperate with her new plans would not be able to see the light of day again. Not even a corpse was left of them for friends and family to mourn; not a trace of the killer to discover. The female would finally reach up and grab the hems of her hood to pull it down, releasing a long mess of azure hair to flow out along her shoulders. Her skin was deathly pale, in great contrast to the vivid color of her eyes. She looked very young, but appearances could be very deceiving. This was Nozomi Sumashuu, the First Quincy, though such a thing was not known to any of these people. The moment her face was unveiled, an intense weight settled over everyone in the room as a whisper of her great power, immediately causing over half of them to drop to their knees under the tension. The air was hard to breathe and muscles refused to move. Her spiritual pressure, even when greatly controlled, could easily break these people. That man tried to speak again, but he found the words caught in his throat, almost choking on them. Nozomi could only smirk as she watched them writhe. But, she knew the real challenge was to come. Turning around to face the dreary weather outside, she spoke to them out loud.

''While you men and women may not be aware of it yet, this country is now under my control. I've already planted the sown the seeds of anarchy throughout, as soon you will see riot after riot with people who just can't... control themselves. Zefonse's strongest supporters have strangely... disappeared. And you all shall learn to see my side of things, soon.'' The tendrils of darkness were already pressing against them, imprinting her dark will upon them. All of them had hit the ground by now, excepting the one who had spoken, the strongest of will amongst them. He struggled to stand, glaring at the back of Nozomi's head while darkness began to creep up on the sides of his consciousness. ''They've not heard about it just yet, but when the riots start at precisely 8 o' clock, word will get around. Hell, maybe even the big man himself will arrive in order to stop me... though if he were intelligent he would not risk it. It's all about picking your battles, and to go against me over a less significant land like this is foolish. Though, there will always be those honor-bound fools willing to protect the good and the innocent. Oh, is my ranting bothering you guys?'' She looked back with a raised eyebrow, to see them all sprawled out on the ground shocked motionless. No answer.

Chuckling, she returned her gaze outdoors, watching the skies. A loud chime rung throughout the entire building at that very moment, sounding eight times in total to announce the time of day. The seeds she had planted throughout millions of minds of the country would sprout simultaneously, inciting the indoctrinated to begin the riots. Within moments, India would fall to pieces under the overwhelming anarchy, destroying the remaining semblance of Zefonse's rule before Nozomi took over. And only she held the keys to salvation. It began with thunderous applause.

India, something spectacular to see such an economic country. It was hard to provide a reason for a familiar young man who happened to appear in India, explaining to the citizens of India that he was a 'traveller' and happened to come by such a great place of history. Presumably that he was on his way to New York, he happened to bump into such place after he took a good rest on his way from Japan and arrived to China before he hit the hay in India. It was a rough journey when it comes to travelling, noted that he did not use any means of transportation and came by here through foot and swam through the sea to reach here. Because of his tough vitality and high stamina levels that exceeds human's limits, something like this was not something out of ordinary and it was common for him to travel by foot and swimming through the roaring seas. He was one of the very few humans who doesn't have the ability to teleport using any means of abilities and does not like to rely on transportation in order to challenge his own human limits to the point where he would give up, but when it comes to destroying someone that he would confront with all of his might after a long run into fighting against many spiritually-powered beings, he decided to move to New York and settle this once and for all.

The young figure had the face of an aggressor, something that feels intimidating when you look at his fierce expression but it was rare to enjoy himself in such places since he never went anywhere but very few places like Japan and New York, only to see the same thing over and over again. It was easy for him to communicate with the citizens using their native language, since his brain does have a good sense of memory in a photographic manner, it didn't take less than a minute before he processed these informations right into his head and gained the capability to speak their native language instead of english and japanese. He also had a flowing bright crimson hair, almost reaching down to his neck, and it was a natural hair color for him unlike the hair he used to have, and it was white instead of red, but the hair color developed naturally as he began to grow more aggressive than usual. Standing no taller than 6 feet and 4 inches tall, he grew rather tall for a japanese male and it was quite an average height for one, while a machine was visibly running in his right waist with a dot that was glowing green, giving a meaning that it is under its semi-active state, and it is something that sustain the life of the human who was wearing the device on his right waist. Together with the device, there was a darkened crutch under his right shoulder that had a different design than the ones in hospitals, pharmacies and clinics, it was more.. powerful and more like a machinery of a weapon to those who took a glance at it. Of course, it is no ordinary crutch as well.

The man's name was Sou Yuuki, also known as The Nightmare for his known title as the one breaks through the boundaries beyond human limits, and a being that cannot be called a 'human' at all with the strength he possesses and the smile he has that is akin to the spawn of the devil itself. The terrifying fact about him was the strength he holds, of course. It cannot be explained by any technology, or even if you had a book that contains every knowledge and information about the universe and law, there was nothing about the nature of his strength and its origins are presumably unknown and it is a power that is out of this very world and its natural laws of nature. He doesn't attain the strength for no such reasons as well, as it was to prove that even humans wihout powers or abilities can achieve victory against those with power and abilities to manipulate, to create and to control, and Sou may be the only human who was willing to take the task by not using any powers than his strength and bare fists alone The stakes were high but if it was to prove that even powerless humans has the potential to win wihout superpowers, he'll do anything to keep up the pride of the very humans and for himself, he never had his own pride to begin with, since within his pair of bloody red eyes and if sought deeper into it, his soul was an empty ball of fire that seemed dead since long before Sou even realised it, and it seemed to lose its purpose of life anymore, attaching itself into nothing but one dreamy goal he always wanted to do, to kill someone he despises so badly that if it is by means of ending the world, he will do so in order to annihilate her out of the existence itself and never to appear before the eyes of humanity again. The sanity and the light, all but gone into ashes and was stated that they were 'stolen' from him since he was a child and wanted to take it back.

Enough with the background runs, Sou take a quick gulp down with the cup of water before it was time to head to head towards Rashtrapati Bhavan where the capital should be located to give his greetings to the ruler of the land. It wasn't really his style to greet with someone against the ruler of India but since he entered wihout a passport, it would be 'rude' to simply enter places wihout being permitted by the guards. Though they soon may realise that the guards were taken out that permits people to enter the city before he would take his leave. Going by foot towards the capital, it took no longer than a second before a huge storm poured down like a tap of water trying to drown his face off with its amount of rain pouring down like it was some sort of parade in the heavens of the storms. However, the storm wasn't normal for him, with even it was naturally produced by one's presence, there would be at least a little drop of energy to summon and command these storms to do at it pleases, and Sou was quite an expert in determining whether something or someone has spiritual power, and he guessed, that today won't be a day to rest for today.

[ CHANGE SOUNDTRACK ]

Leaving a high-pitch sound out of his right waist, it was a sound frequency effect that he made to alert nearby folks to be wary that he was going to take care of something or someone, and for now, it was time to drive off these storms like there was no tomorrow. What he unleashes is not some bare spiritual power, since he only has a drop of chi energy and doesn't even possess one, there was one interesting fact about him. His body roared with power, the pressure around him simply spiked like Mount Olympus itself before a blast of pressure bursted upwards against the storm, and the natural pressure his body created under the momentarily exertion of energy would simply cause the earth beneath him to rise, from large boulders to pebbles that was broken down into nothing but ashes itself, while his raging pressure blew the likes of the storm away wihout much of an effort by overwhelming the storm itself by using an even greater power that would blow the storms away back to where it came from. If measured traditionally in a spiritual method, despite Sou's pressure is not a spiritual power itself, it does act like it and if measured properly, it is somewhere of a level that exceeds an average captain rank itself under his full power from the I.E.B.N's device's activation, also known as International Electronic Brace Network, and he unleashed it to alert the one in the capital whom made this storm, and he would surely remember this person by trying to match their energy wavelengths, body frequency and the elements of the very energy that made such a oh-fierce storm that almost turned him into a piece of wet cloth. Well, the burst of pressure was to alert whoever that was making a great fuss about this.

Walking in circles around the Capital, his hand slid across the walls of the very capital itself, trying to pinpoint the signs of life and the person who made such a ruckus of the storm, and it wouldn't be long before his steps stopped, and found an area where it was presumed the strongest waves of energy hitting him over and over again by its spiritual power. However, Sou was rather unaffected by it, despite being a human, he had encountered most beings at this being's level, it would a bite of a biscuit to overcome such spiritual pressure that can overwhelm human beings with no spiritual power that can stay on par or even overwhelm it, but Sou became an exception that he uses an actual pressure of the air itself to make up his lack of spiritual power and it has been his own ever since, even if it does not have a definite color like other spiritual power does, one can know it is a human's pressure given the fact that it doesn't give off any spiritual power for them to sense. To the individual, it was either a powerless human or a being that is manipulating gravity or pressure to do so, but indeed, it is a powerless human with only his fist on the ride to send someone back to their home as a train express, but more delightful for those who has the pleasure to get one right out from his bloodied fists.

His hand quickly gripped itself tightly to form itself into a fist, preparing to attack, the moment the Nightmare implants his fist right against the wall, on his own prediction, the wall may burst into pieces and collapse using a proper calculation of executing a specific amount of fire to burst the wall apart at least 8 feet tall while 4 feet wide, and before the wall may take its time to collapse, his fist unleashes a blast of shockwave like an invisible bullet travelling across the air and blast 1/4 the speed of sound, while its firepower is like that of a tank's explosive prowess if it crashes directly against Nozomi's body. Though if it missed, it would just blast another hole on the other side of the wall itself. Surprisingly, the Nightmare had quite a hang of it with his own strength ever since his bones break and flesh split open by the slashes and the explosions from the battlefield he fought within as if it was the depths of Hell itself. A truly pleasurable yet nightmare-ish experience with all those pain inflicting right into his body. Moving out of the hay of the beginning of the battlefield, Nozomi would find herself with a man, a tall figure standing right behind the broken wall that he took down with his bare hands. A rather sinister smile was visible behind the shadows of the broken wall, and only a sarcastic tone was heard behind the aggressive man's voice.

"Morning."

Wihout further hesitation, he took a few slow steps against the likes of Quincy before his fist swung an uppercut, his muscles were expanding and contracting as he pleases using his capability of using his own strength. The strength of his uppercut was not a normal one indeed, that if she tries to use something as good as a shield to repel it or defend herself against it, his fist would unleash a strong vibration against the likes of the shield, an energy or a physical object, it would shatter apart under an utmost force of his strength and causes the ground beneath the two individuals to break apart upwards, forcing it to collapse after it takes its toll into extending upwards before collapsing into a large gap, where it may be one or two of these men that were held down by Nozomi's spiritual pressure to fall down into the very gaps his fist simply made with a simple uppercut. If it were ever being caught by hand, Nozomi would either need to stop it by executing an exact amount of strength to cancel it, using an even greater force to repel his very strength or something that can defend herself with a tough object that could take something like Sou's strength head-on wihout being affected by the vibration created by his bare fists. If a solution is not made, Nozomi's attempt to catch him by hand would shatter the very bones within his palm, breaking apart the connections with her fingers and a low chance to leave a burst of hole on her very palm.

His tone slowly grew aggressive from his sigh, before his voice became clear and loud, and behind the sentences, there was quite a huge hint of anger and dissapointment on such situation, and seemingly gave no regards against the guards that is protecting the capital for the arrival of Zefonse, the seemingly ruler of India, "YO! So you're that douchebag who turned my clothes soaking wet from the storm, eh!? THEN IT WOULD BE BAD FOR ME TO NOT RETURN YOU THE FAVOR THAT I OWE! BY SOAKING YOUR OWN CLOTHES WITH YOUR VERY OWN BLOOD ONCE MY BARE HANDS TAKES YOU DOWN EFFICIENTLY AS YOUR PRIVATE CORPSE COLLECTOR ALL THE WAY FROM HELL!"

It was just the greetings from the Nightmare to the quincy that made the storm after analyzing the very energy waves between the two and the connections were similiar which took no further than a mockery that made his clothes turned into a piece of wet cloth and he wasn't even near completing his warm-ups. Maybe he should make fun of this quincy a little before he actually takes this thing to the next level of ripping her into shreds with these bloodied hands that took many lives of the innocents. Afterall, a gentleman should let a lady enjoy herself before the actual event. And this, was just the Nightmare's beginning in India.

Artist: Celldweller - Song: So Long Sentiment

Nozomi continued to stare up at the shades of gray and black that consumed the skies of blue, raining in peaceful constancy among the streets of New Delhi. This was her favorite kind of weather; something she grew up. It was always there when times were stressful, to calm her down and take away her anger and sadness. It healed the land and washed away the grime of the world; all in a serene din. Yet, there were many who quite disagreed with her views, finding the weather gloomy and depressing. They did not appreciate the cloud blocking out their precious sun, and were more concerned about getting their clothes wet than taking a tranquil stroll in the rain. One such individual, for presumably like reasons, would be seen dispelling her storm. A sun shaft would strike her red hues and cause a flicker of irritation to flow through her mind. A hole was blasted through the cover of clouds and forced to quickly expand, most certainly not a natural occurrence. Within moments the city would be showered in light instead of rain, reflecting off the pools of water that still remained. This was most disappointing, but at least she had finally been noticed. Curious, she angled her head to level with the horizon, gazing over the long road in front of the Rashtrapati Bhavan where the rest of the city could be seen. She did not focus on any one point with her pupils, and yet that was irrelevant. Nozomi possessed the all-seeing sight of the Omnidou, and used that to pinpoint the exact location of the disruption. He would not know it, but the red-haired man who'd disturbed her storm would be observed from this point onward. The analysis began, as she naturally would with any new object that presented itself to her. She would pick him apart in his mind and study every factor that went into the full being of the man; every capability, nuance, and particle under great study. From the very instant she captured him in her sight she already knew a great deal about him and would only continued to learn as she studied. The time that was given to her from the point he dispersed the rainclouds to the time he finally found Nozomi herself, was quite the luxurious amount. By the time he finally arrived at the scene, the Quincy would be well prepared for the fight to become.

That did not make her any less disturbed with her discoveries. For even though she was given the time, she still was having trouble fully breaking him down. One key characteristic about his powers escaped her, as his strength seemed to defy rational science. To any layman at first glance it would seem as though there was simply no limit to the amount of physical force he could project, and yet Nozomi knew this not to be the case. Finding that limitation, depended on sciences that applied only this enigmatic character, and calculations of absurd proportions. From what she took away so far, it was an intelligent strategy just to not be on the receiving end of his fist. While she continued to unravel the mystery of the red-haired human, he would continue to draw closer to the heart of the city. Nozomi was motionless, still staring down the road even though her hunter had chosen to take a different route. Ignoring the fact that the building had a grand entrance of skillful architectural design, the man decided that smashing through the wall would be the most cinematic of his options. The woman would turn her head in his direction with great apathy, just as a shockwave of kinetic energy hurtled for it. Not consenting to the battering of her flawless pale face, of course she would react to the offense. Given as the area was already saturated with her dark energies, she would manipulate them to in turn manipulate the indirect blast. Without so much as lifting a finger, Nozomi would redirect the inconsequential force in the opposite direction, seemingly with her mere glare. The direction of its velocity was rewritten, reality subjected, and now his own attack would fly right back toward him to no doubt disturb his ceremonious arrival. His greeting was cut off, but Nozomi knew well enough what his intent was. ''How completely unexpected is this. And so uninvited. This is a rather important building you know.''

He did not see too fond of her though, as he immediately took to a charge at her. He'd be in close combat in only a few wide strides, little less than a second, and yet he telegraphed his attack well enough to her eyes. The way his arm coiled up, and the way his muscles contracted underneath his skin were forewarning enough, and sure enough his fist would rise up from his waist at her in an uppercut as he came close enough to strike her. Very unlike him, Nozomi's form did not move until the last safe moment. She did not need to follow the rules of movement with the use of the Hirenkyaku, the Quincy's step. She vanished away from the danger of his powerful strike, reappearing again in an instant away from him a couple meters and off at an angle away from his attack, just so that no indirect force could carry out at her. This left her attacker in an imbalance, having risen his center of gravity with his attack, so that he did not have a hold of the ground. There was a moment of opportunity at the apex of his uppercut, in which he was most vulnerable. Nozomi intentionally had kept a relatively close proximity precisely for this, releasing her response in the form of a concussive expulsion. An invisible force would crash into his body and send him flying into the air without a solid grip on the ground to hold him down. For all his strength, it didn't matter in such a vulnerable position, and neither did his speed for the same reasons. If he took the concussive blast squarely, he would be hurtled upwards at an angle to plow through the ceiling of the room and get his upper body stuck in the concrete that lined it. Getting a chuckle out of the situation, Nozomi would finally turn towards him, holding her arms out at her sides. The dark cloak she was wearing burst into shreds and exploded out away from her body, before dissipating into nothing. In unveiled her signature uniform underneath, which was sort of going for that Neo-Nazi style that had died out long, long ago. She was much less restricted this way, but she still didn't quite know if she even had to work her muscles in order to defeat him.

He seemed like a very angry individual, what with his obnoxiously loud complaint about the rain she created. It made things comical; You had to wonder how someone like this had figured out the source of the storm so quickly, and yet Nozomi knew he had a little help. One of the things Nozomi discovered about him in her survey of him was that wrist accessory of his. Now electronics were a much more exact science than super powers were, so when she laid her eyes upon the device it was very easy to figure the piece of technology out. And funnily enough, it just happened to be very vital to his continued survival. The electrical signals that flowed through his brain and his nervous system were not natural, instead originating from the brace. This made things very problematic for the man, especially since he chose to come fight someone like Nozomi. He had entered her field of Onikagahi energy, and as soon as he had done so, he had put himself in grave danger. Now, as Nozomi stretched her arms out after taking her cloak off, she would focus in on him and snap her fingers. The device would let out a harmless spark from around it, before going quiet to him. It was like this for a few short moments before the intense charge contained within it would overload in a most volatile manner. It would detonate into an electrical explosion to completely destroy the brace, and probably deal severe damage to his arm. It was easy to tip the balance of such a powerful device when it was contained in such a tiny package. She just had to disturb the path of the electricity and reroute it into itself until it couldn't handle it anymore, thus overloading. The spark was when she had altered the circuitry, while the explosion was the final result.

''Oh, I hope that wasn't too important.'' Nozomi spoke up after the discord of the explosion simmered down, her voice dripping with sarcasm. It seemed to easy a way to end him, and wondered just what would happen to him without it. But, she did not much care for his life when he opposed her. It was sheer misfortune for him that he relied on such a device and then dared to fight Nozomi, poor soul. She'd wait and watch him to see what happened, still on alert. He may have been able to still run on fumes, and the Quincy was not one to be caught unawares. Silence ensued.

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Time Limit - Word Count: 1664

It does seem that the lady luck wasn't on his side today, through making a dramatic entrance by collapsing a whole in the whole and went as far as giving her a present through the shockwave, it was blasted right back at him to disturb his greetings. As impolite as it seems, even for his own case, she wasn't as womanly as he think she was. Having the shockwave blasted right back at him, all he did was to raise one of his hands upwards, and the moment that his hand and the shockwave had clashed against each other like some sort of fierce enemies, his muscles expanded to allow more energy to flow right through his expanded muscles, before bursting into a great deal of force to stay on par against the redirected shockwave with an equal force to cancel both of his force and the shockwave itself altogether into nothing.

Shifting himself into a position of an uppercut, his movements were alow, a simple admittance that he wasn't a speedy type that moves faster than normal humans in general, but his strength truly makes up his lack of speed by implementing correct frequencies and force against the ground, gliding through the air particles and heat them up for an increase in kinetic energy around the air particles, which forces the surroundings to heat up and the energy would increase furthermore, and when compressed into a single state, the energy wouldn't be able to keep in one area and would explode, this is how he increases his own speed through the usage of his own strength. In circumstances like these, in that single momentary of an uppercut, it would be wrong to simply mark him as the most vulnerable man in the world just because he executed an uppercut, doesn't mean he cannot use his other limbs to do the attack. His body is freely his, and he can betray it when he wants to.

Indeed, he executed an uppercut when Nozomi shifted out of his direction, his body would twist around as his fist was still above the air and didn't waste too much time pulling it back either. Swinging his other hand that was holding the crutch against the incoming blast, it was easily visible for its invisible force when its vibrations during its advancements when crashing against the air particles, it takes no less than a skill to take an easy glance agains the likes of the blast before his crutch swung right at it, blasting it with a force to completely blow out the other side of the wall against the opposite direction of the invisible force, which would be bigger than the hole he made, and upon closer look, the entire tall structure of the wall would be obliterated, including some of the supports that is holding the building upwards to prevent it from collapsing. The closer she gets to him, the easier was it for him to excel his melee combat skills, this is what makes up his lack of superpowers, unable to manipulate, to create nor to control, all he had to do was to deal with enemies through his bare hands and through a close-quarters combat. Such simple task like this would be laughable for the Nightmare, but what runs the question is, who in the earth is this woman?

Chuckling, his tone would spoke in more of a sarcasm than he could ever done, but it wasn't really his style to speak like so, but Nozomi could simply tell the smile on his face was rather entertained, "Important building, eh? Well, not as important as collecting your corpse for today."

However, things didn't really go as he planned. Having a machine running to keep someone alive and standing there of being a vulnerable fighter, something that sustains his life on his everyday life, and it took the least effort for someone like her to figure it out. Using an actual electricity for the device, it works just like an artificial bio-electricity that allows the flow of electricity to move right through his damaged nerves, that is why it was a life-sustaining device, since if it ever goes down to the drain, his entire nervous system would shut down and leave him just like a paralyzed man with only semi-working body and an active brain and spinal nerves to do the work, while only a small portion of his entire nervous system would work, and by 'semi-active', means that the nervous system will still work normally, with only a small factor that he would have quite some issue in moving his body and controlling his body's muscles, as well as blurring his sense of sight, sense of taste, smell and etc that requires the nervous system to transfer informations for his body to do as it normally would.

With the device sparking, it wouldn't be a good sign that runs the works, and before it takes its time to detonate itself into an explosion, the Nightmare would unequip the battery out of the device, forcing a shutdown right in his entire nervous system, which his body would drastically weaken, muscles become uncontrollable and would have a hard time maintaining his body from here on, but throughoutly using all of his might, with the battery on his hand that was unequipped, he would throw the battery right at Nozomi, forcing it to explode outwards. Either way, even if it was just a spark within the mechanics of the device, the network would deduct it as a threat and would destroy the device altogether if he weren't careful, so before it had the time to annihilate his device entirely, the method he would do was the removal of the battery and throw it right at her before it explodes. It may not be a great idea since it wouldn't do much but at least a scratch would do.

His body further went into a collapse, kneeling down with his breathing rate dropping, heart still pumping with his body was idling like a dead frog on the road. Grinding his own teeth, Sou struggled his head to look towards the quincy, his eyes were not dying, but burning with anger and with all of his might, he would take step by step to stand up, seemingly that he couldn't control his body any longer wihout the nervous system to do the talking, then all he could do was to force his body to do what it was told to. It may seem slow and weak based on his movements, his vision was blurred like a bat, being able to still see, everything around him is like a puff of clouds and liquid water, it was blurry yet he didn't care, striving to stand and fight, it wasn't the time to rest right now. Opening his mouth, words came out of it, only holding the tone of a weak man with a mixture of anger right in it. His words were slow, but it didn't stop him from doing so.

"You.. damn bitch..! KNOW.. ABOUT THE DAMN.. MONSTER.. RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!!!"

Shouting at the top of his lungs, he knew that in his current state, he won't be able to last long wihout a quick push foward but if this is what she wants to enjoy about, then she'll get it. Boiling with anger, his foot stomped right against the earth beneath him, as hard as he could before his body tripped right against the ground. This wasn't a normal stomp, as an earthquake suddenly shook the entire capital with a strong force, a large gap quickly opened with a sudden burst of power underneath the floors of the capital, pressurized air would burst upwards from the giant gap, before it began to widen bigger and bigger, as more men would fall right into the ground and the earth would crumble. With that much amount of force, most parts of the capital would crumble apart into pieces under his own strength, with his leg that was visible with wounds, it was indeed painful for his own case, but it wasn't the time to rest.

Maintaining his balance from his initial fall, he was panting, obviously tired since wihout his device, it would be quite hard to control everything that is running in his entire body. Determination, is what keeping him alive. Not until he reaches to Mana's location, he won't be dying too soon from here. Indeed of the fact that his body is rather slow in his current condition, with his body moving yet so weakly, it doesn't take away the actuality that his strength does not dissapear wihout it, that his strength would be just harder to control from this point, this is how difficult the device was. His legs were shaking, not with fear, but from the weakness he is gaining, and when being forced to stand, it had the urge to fall, though Sou was still trying as hard as he could to pull through these damned luck of his to fight against someone that figured out his weakness too soon. It is a pain in the ass to fight someone like this, but he won't give in, not now, not ever.

Thankfully, even if his legs were to ever give way, his crutch would still do the replacement for his legs, as a support if he were to ever run out of batteries or if his device were to suffer some.. casualities. Chuckling even at his current state, he took a step foward, before his laugh became quite clear in his weaekened state, it was surprising for the fact that he can still stand and fight. There would be a surprise for her if she were to get even an inch near his vicnicity, but for now, he would take a defensive stance first, until the perfect timing arrives. "Come on, you shithead.. If you dare to.. lift a finger against me.. I won't blame you.. if i'm being rough.. You damned brat."

Artist: Celldweller - Song: So Long Sentiment

Time stopped for Nozomi as the device deactivated, her mind accelerating beyond any single number and to infinity, so that she could view the scenario before her with all the time in the world. It was like taking a snapshot, and being able to pick it apart at her leisure. When the redhead's brace shut down, already the effects began to set in. His nervous system had already lost most of its vitality, quickly dwindling toward lifelessness. His body was on a time limit now, even though the fight had only just begun. His eyes dulled and lost focus, sending broken signals to his slow-moving mind, just as the rest of his senses would. His muscles weakened as well, though that much didn't matter to someone with infinite potential. He was a mess and it would only continue to worsen for him as time went on, and yet judging from the intent of his movement, he wanted to continue fighting. As Nozomi had gathered the information she needed, the enigmatic process that was occurring in her mind would slow to something that actually abided to the laws of reality. Time resumed with her enemy realizing that his brace was broken, and fumbling around with it to extract the battery that powered it. He did the first thing that came to mind and chucked it away, sending the volatile explosive heading for her. That would prove to be most trivial, considering the claws of the Onikagahi were already within the object. With just a simple thought, she redirected the object just as she had with his initial attack, regifting it back into his face. She would back it up with additional pressure so that when it detonated in mid-air, the resulting blast would fire off toward him in a cone shape, so that he took the most of it directly. Given the fact that his nervous system was on the fritz, his reaction time would be slowed, and this process would seem to happen in an instant. That alone would be difficult enough to deal with.

And yet it wouldn't stop there. Her opponent had displayed his weakness and she would capitalize on that immediately, not even giving him the chance to breathe as her assault of the mind continued. With her mere thoughts, Nozomi could make her own reality. She began to form the particles from her dark energy, collecting them into a point of space to the male's right. Steel plates and iron bars, speeding wheels and simmering heat. Seemingly coming from a rift in space, a train burst into existence moving at headlong reckless speeds. Steam billowed out of the headpipe and it blasted its horn at full volume, screeching across the marble floor as it headed for him. This was a fraction of a second after the battery erupted into flame, conveniently blinding him from the oncoming death metal, though it was likely his nervous system wasn't even fast enough to tell him of danger by the time he was struck by it. Whether or not he was hit, the train would continue on through the front entrance of the building, taking off from the ground as it flew over the stairs, before gravity managed to pull it back down again. Whoever was on the nose of the vehicle would be smashed into the ground and pinned down between the two hard places. The continued momentum would drag that poor unfortunate soul forward across the ground for several dozen meters before the train faltered, and started breaking apart. The twelve-car long train would roll out of control, trampling anything in their way until finally, finally, settling down on their sides far off from the building.

There was no rest for the weary: wherever the man might be, Nozomi could easily track his position without so much as a shift in her eyes. She began to imagine her own truth to the world, this time directly below him. The ground would crack and begin to glow a molten red, its temperature shooting up by the thousands. Proceeding that, a geyser of flesh-devouring lava would jet directly upwards to try and envelop his entire body in rushing flames, the speed a result of built up pressure. Even as this stream would incinerate most things caught in it near instantly, it would also rain down flaming death as it reached the apex of its height. If he didn't like soothing downpour of raincloud, perhaps he would rather enjoy the molten variant that would burn holes into him... Given he wasn't already a smoking pile of ash. This torrent of lava continued to release its molten contents for a good while, before gradually slowing down and losing pressure. Finally, it stopped, leaving the massive area around it in flaming strife. Anything nearby had been cleared out, and a crater had been created. Even the air simmered with boiling heat, burning the lungs if you breathed in here. Nozomi, however, was not to be seen, having vanished at the point when the lava geyser had appeared. She was in between dimensions at the time this all occurred, escaping Earth through a Garganta and taking her hostages with her to keep them somewhere safe. She would return alone to India shortly, hovering roughly above the gutsy man upon a platform of Reishi. She was most certainly not within reach of him, or even that close, preferring to keep her distance. She just wanted him to look up.

When she gained his attention, she pointed upwards, finally lifting that finger he so desired to see. She hoped it made him feel better, all things considered; it was among the least significant matters he had to deal with. What was much more worth his time was what she had directed his attention to. Above her head was a seemingly random cloud of color and light, albeit it was in the process of conforming into a solid image. What became of it was a digital timer, a flat black plane with four glowing green numbers on it, separated by a colon. While from this distance his damaged eyes would have trouble seeing the exact numbers on it, he could tell what it seemed to be, and the fact that these numbers were changing. It was counting down, ticking by the second. The number wasn't very big either. ''Your time runs short, kid. Hurry up and give a show, make a point, burn out in a glory. Something that makes this all worth it for you, quick shot, because you just about threw your life away.'' And what would be the most disappointing part about this is not the lack of an interesting battle, but the waste of such potential. For now she looked down at him, watching him for any potential threats while the time above her head continued to run down. Whatever he was planning to do before had been interrupted, as he would have no time to do it. She had effectively countered his attack by preventing it. And now, if he still wish to stomp the ground with all his might, it would achieve nothing but pointless destruction. Nozomi was a great height of the ground now, safe from such a tactic. That left her tough little cookie to try and think of something new to do. Though, in the end it was all meaningless, wasn't it? Nozomi wasn't even trying yet.

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Tatta Hitotsu No Houhou - Word Count: 2390

It didn't take a moment, before his entire motion stopped after the battery that he threw exploded in flames, and it was against his face. His body stopped responding to everything, seemingly like a dead corpse that was standing wihout any visible motion, and only his breath and heartbeat can be heard from his idling body. Flames casted before his face, not even a flinch was made when his face was burned by it, and when the train took its toll, Nozomi made one wrong perception about his loss of his entire nervous system. Since he lost just about all of his senses, the sense of taste, sense of smell, sense of sight, most of them were either damaged or stopped working the moment his nervous system stopped, but the only fact is that his sense of space and time also slowed down to a point where everything around him that he sees are exceptionally slow, and since his brain are something like a photographic level, his reaction may be slow but when the time is slowed down, everything he does is twice as faster than a normal human's perception time.

However, casting that aside, he didn't actually made a single move despite his advantage into stopping the train, having it to crash right against his fragile human body, crushing his very flesh and bones of his body, as blood visibly spat right out of his mouth. Indeed that the force was great for something like that, with the formed crater beneath the earth. However, there was one great surprise for the likes of Nozomi when it broke apart, when these pieces of metal rolled, his fist made a simple swing, before the chunk of metal bursted apart into a hole right in its center, before its remainings shattered into pieces like a glass itself. Standing up from his dead-like body, there was wounds, flesh and blood visible just everywhere across his body, as expected from some quincy who could figure out his weakness yet so quickly. Though, the Nightmare isn't someone to underestimate at, even if his level is considered weak for a human wihout any possession of superpowers and only excels in melee combat with raw strength, he has his own wits to make up what he lacks in most areas as a fighter.

At first he chuckled, but soon, his tone became more menacing, darker and indeed, more of a devil's laugh, as if he just took all of it for fun only, only to make an even bigger mockery of Nozomi. His voice was clear as the sky itself even from the weakening he took earlier ago, as if he drove all of his words from the boiling anger, pleasure and entertainment of such attacks for himself to force such a clear word right out of his own lips against the quincy, "Haha.. AHAHA... HYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! WHAT IS THIS!? YOU CALL THIS, YOUR POWER AS A QUINCY!? DON'T JOKE WITH ME, YOU FUCKING BRAT! I'LL SHOW THAT EVEN A VILLAIN LIKE ME HAVE STANDARDS INTO BEING A MONSTER!"

Roaring out at the top of his lungs with all of his might, the pressure around him suddenly increases, as if he was like a super saiyan getting a power-up out of nowhere, but it ain't that. He wasn't some super saiyan or some demi-god who gets random energy out of nowhere. Boiling with anger, blurred vision or limited time to stay alive, he couldn't think nor to care about them anymore. If its about turning someone into dust and haul their great corpse into their coffins, he would be glad to betray his own body's limitations and go beyond the point of being a human anymore. The Nightmare's body was visibly 'breaking apart', wounds were forcefully opened, blood spilled right out of the already-inflicted wounds after the pressure around him increases. There wasn't any sort of battery implemented in his device, it was just sheer endurance and a full frontal push right into the depths of hell with all of his might.

Before the lava geyser could pop out directly below him like a rabbit hole, his left hand would begin to produce an intensive amount of heat right against the palm of his hand, spitting out more blood from his mouth, showing hints that his body won't last much longer wihout the battery to keep him alive, not to mention when it comes to forcing his entire senses to work again, its just like pushing through the gaps of his body's limits, and it won't be a good sign as well to do about it. In an attempt to use vibrations to grind the air particles and attract them before his palm with charged particles and heat from the friction between the vibration of his energy within his hand and against the particles in his surroundings, which would produce a heat just right in the outer layer of his very palm, acting much like an 'outer shell' for his hand.

The second the hot, steaming lava bursts upwards, before it could rain a good, smoky lava that can give home some glorious bullet holes on his body, his hand would implant right into the geyser itself by forcing it right back in with an even greater pressure that his body was able to produce in an extreme amount, forcing the broken pieces of the train to float, the capital to shake and beginning to break apart into pieces under the terrifying pressure of the Nightmare. He wasn't someone to underestimate and laugh at, since he has his own capability and points in combat, just to look at him as if he was a mere human wasn't a good idea at all, even if you remove his device completely out of existence, he will stand, move and fight like he always does when he was still running fresh wihout a single scratch on him nor do he even need the device in a year ago. Now, he'll prove that once again that humans can stand above people like Nozomi, the supernatural, that even if a human like him has no power, he can fight and win with all of his might. For him to come here and pay a visit to the ruler of India, became a fight between heaven and hell.

Injecting his hand deeper into the incoming geyser, Sou acknowledges that it is too damn hot for his hand to stand the heat anymore, but nevertheless, by utilizing the air pressure around him and the pressure of the opposing force of the geyser, it took no longer than a second before he went full force right against the very geyser itself before it took its time to splatter the entire area with molten lava, which forces the entire earth around him within 10 miles to suddenly break apart into gaps and burst upwards under the sheer force of his very hand, and when the Nightmare pull his hand right out of the geyser, it didn't melt, but rather, it was burned rather badly that his left hand wouldn't be visible by the darkness the lava had burned his hand to almost into crisps, but to his own surprise, he was able to still move his burned hand despite the damage it takes, but he can't leave it like this as well, before he takes a deep risk.

[ CHANGE SOUNDTRACK ]

Tapping his device, it was turned on with a visible flip against the switch, since it didn't have batteries, it won't work, or will it? Reaching out to his back, he would pull out a battery and equip it right back into the device, before his body would suddenly unleash a chaotic pressure right across the entire area of India, even those are far away from their current location would be shaken with fear by the great pressure that suddenly increases around them. In case Nozomi tries to use the same trick into altering the flow of electricity or even to try and have a slightest contact with the device, with the information he had gained after all the pain he tried to endure throughout his fight, the information would be enough for it to filter the systems of the device and the electromagnetic field, that it would redirect any possible interference against it if Nozomi tries to make another attempt against it, that is how his brain works, and he doesn't take all of that for nothing, of course.

Well then, the surprise was over as well, since he has been keeping a backup with him in case such things happened, and it was the first time for him to even use one, since no one ever bother against it, but out with the brags, it was time to show Nozomi the 'potential' she wanted to see. Before having to make a move, his voice seems to be active and energetic again, still holding the same sarcastic attitude of his against the likes of the quincy, "Sorry for the wait, you shithead. NOW THEN, ITS SCRAPPING TIME!"

With a stomp right against the ground, it didn't actually break apart, to unleash a sound that vibrates throughout the air to alert her about something, a distraction before his figure flashed right before her very eyes and interestingly, above the air together with Nozomi, whilst the palm of his hand was already took her right against her face. It wasn't Hirenkyaku, a Shunpo nor was it Sonido, it was a natural speed of his, not a human-like speed either, and doesn't utilize any of his body's weight as well. It uses the concept of frequency, particles and air pressure, that since he could mess around with air particles solely with his strength, he can use the air and utilize the perfect frequency that blasts his speed beyond the speed of a human, somewhere between advanced and master, a newfound skill when he realised he can move at greater speed with a stomp, after using it over and over again when he fought against his opponent, and decided to use that against Nozomi for the first time.

Which when he stomps, the vibration would glide through the air particles and heat them up for an increase in kinetic energy around the air particles, which forces the surroundings to heat up and the energy would increase furthermore, and when compressed into a single state, the energy wouldn't be able to keep in one area and would explode, this is how he increases his own speed through the usage of his own strength, as stated previously, and uses that capability to turn his speed to a level of the impossible with his strength only, that is why it seemed that he 'teleported' right before the eyes of the quincy, but all he did was to search for her coordinates through the pulse of spiritual energy from her body and the reishi that allowed her to float, giving him an advantage to pinpoint her positon. Even if she were to move an inch or a feet away, all he would was to take another footing against the air and increase its kinetic energy through friction, compressing and blast him into a flash of speed again, having his palm right against her face.

The electricity took no time to charge before it unleashes a wide blast of electricity, powerful enough to match against a normal cero used by a trained arrancar, it could blast a crater or turn the mountain into ashes by the potential of its blast. It won't take much battery out of him, but he would need to be careful of using his own abilities with that much increase in both physical and mental capability. Whether the blast burns her right in the face or not, his hands would grip tightly again, one that is burned formed into a fist and the other one that was holding the crutch yet so tightly, before his fist smashes right against her guts with full force, with visible shockwave blow right out of her back, before swinging his crutch right at her left side of her neck with an utmost strength, blasting her away like a cannon blast would and would be enough to dig her several meters deep just like her train would, a good payback in return for her train that almost crushed his body into dusts.

When his body falls from the gravity, his hand would grip the crutch even tighter, before slamming it right down against the ground towards Nozomi's direction if she was slammed right into the earth, it would unleash a strong blast of vibration that moves at sonic speed, and if it were to hit directly, it would assure that the quincy would be left with a couple of broken bones in one of her limbs that takes the direct damage right against it, even with a reinforced skin. Otherwise, he would stand right in the midst of these great dusts of pain, at the same position where he shot off the blast of vibration, it was time to get serious about it, and if another attempt of hijack or even toying around with his device was done, he has his own style of dealing with it, since its his own machine and he could deal with it if it suffers a casuality.

Whether or not could he still manage with his burned left hand, if it worsens before it could heal, he would just take it off as if it weren't his in the first place, for now, he might need a 'hand' to deal with this quincy. His smile widened, finding enjoyment from this battlefield, for someone to overwhelm him so quickly, it would be something big to celebrate as well. Laughing slowly, his eyes glanced right back at the quincy named Nozomi, before his mockery went over and over again, only to see what she could do against the Nightmare, the embodiment of fear and darkness itself, someone who was 'dead' in the beginning of his life, and was never the light. "COME ON, QUINCY! I THOUGHT YOU LOVE TO RUN THAT POWER OF YOURS AGAINST ME! THROW AT ME WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT, BECAUSE I WON'T BE SATISFIED JUST TO BITE MY OWN ARM THAT IS INFINITELY DARK BECAUSE ITS ONLY GOING TO TASTE BLANDER THAN YOURS!"

And there goes the snap in his head.

Artist: Celldweller - Song: So Long Sentiment

It would seem the fight would be taken outside, as her opponent had taken the train squarely into the side, letting his body be smashed even though there was the possibility of dodging; the strain of dodging would have been much less punishing than the consequent result. Clearly he wasn't very bright, but Nozomi knew this already. Unfortunately, this was about the time that Nozomi had taken a jaunt through the dark void of the Garganta, missing out on the half-crazed laughter and exclamation of the red-haired man, and she would not return for a small while. His words met empty air whether he knew it or not. After that, he would proceed to deal with the lava geyser directly in his damaged state, again choosing the least optimal strategy for dealing with the attack just because he could. He would smash his fist into the ground beneath him and created a small tear into the quickly-melting earth, which would work only unintentionally for him. While the geyser would have been wide enough to consume his entire body, he had opened a route of his own before the surface could entirely melt, creating a path of least resistance. That way, the lava channeled itself against his fist, and he probably didn't even realize the creativity of his tact—probably just dumb luck. Yet still, his choice was idiotic and near suicidal. He would punch the stream of lava back down, unleashing a jet of pressure that would hold it down for a short while, but eventually be overcome. The pressure would continue to build and build, until it found a way to burst through somewhere. The lava flowed in other directions beneath the ground and the entire estate began to shake dangerously, the surface cracking. Then, all at once it blew up, dozens of miniature lava spouts escaping throughout the area as the once-flat road fractured into large pieces. Only an island of safe land remained in tact, that being the piece that Sou was standing on.

Nozomi came back to the real world, not at all surprised by the new layout of the terrain. She witnessed him pulling his hand out of the hole he'd created, dripping with lava and steaming from the heat. Already she knew how it all happened, playing the scene back in her mind perfectly, just from observing the end result. He was only accelerating his end, shortening the time on that clock of hers, by taking these dramatic yet foolish actions. It was as if he had a back-up plan, and yet he couldn't. Her eyes saw all, including his end. Nothing could escape their gaze, and so when he began to fiddle around with his device Nozomi could only chuckle in delight. Knowing exactly where his thoughts were going, she watched as his hand reached for something in the pouch attached to his back, only to find what he was looking for missing. Quite the befuddling case for him, but Nozomi would stand high and mighty from her elevated position, a knowing smile on her face. Her right hand lifted and opened up to reveal not one but several of his unique batteries, twirling them around in between her fingers with ease. Then, with indifference, she crushed them all in her grip, breaking them all down to their basest particles with Onikagahi's power and sprinkling the remains into the boiling hot atmosphere. He obviously thought she was missing something here; he thought she wasn't thorough; he thought something about her that made him not take her seriously himself. He thought that he could just solve everything by punching it in the face, because it usually always worked for him. Well, that was simply non sequitur. She had seen his batteries, and let them fall right through the bottom of his pouch with a small garganta, as she had great mastery over that hollow ability. Then, right into her hands they had appeared, only to be destroyed. Whatever he'd done to stop them from overloading was pointless when she had a hundred and one other ways to achieve the same end. That left him without an easy way out, but still he would choose to fight for now. He stomped the ground in rage, sending a loud crack throughout the air, obviously intending to launch his barrage of attacks.

''Give it your best shot.''

He vanished and reappeared in front of her while she was still looking down, but her mind moved faster than her body, just as her eyes did. The mere distraction of sound was useless for his case, as Nozomi was far too astute to be fooled by the trick. She sensed the swift build-up of electricity in his palm and prepared her rebuttal the very instance afterward, concentrating Onikagahi into the space directly in front of her face despite how little time she was given to react. Expecting the blast before it was unleashed, she sent the amalgamation of her energy into a rapid spin, creating an opening in the center so to make a sort of wormhole with her energy. This wormhole existed only for the precise moment that the electricity would surge toward her, thus capturing the deadly light within for Nozomi to manipulate. And yet... to the Nightmare's eyes, the electricity would strike her body in a blinding light and send her flying backwards like a smoking rag doll, hurtling towards the ground. He'd follow for his subsequent attack, pulling his arms back so that she could slingshot them forward again, straight into Nozomi's fragile body. The blue-haired woman looked back at Sou as he approached, with grit teeth and one eye clenched shut, clearly frustrated. She was having a hard time stopping her descent, but she'd muster up yet another one of those wormholes of Onikagahi where she expected his attack to hit. She placed the defense perfectly, and yet his attack would still connect and deliver a satisfying crunching sound as something within Nozomi's body broke. His crutch would smash into her neck as well and send her body spiraling down even faster toward the shattered and molten lands, trailing blood in spirals around her. She crashed into the ground like a small meteor, an impact that would create a crater and put out the fires nearby with the shockwave. It left Nozomi's body a clear and easy target for Sou to land on, and she would open her eyes to see him hurtling down towards her, with her body sprawled out on the broken earth.

There was something disconcerting about the look on her face; she did not seem to be in pain at all, as if she was just lying down to take a nap. There was no worry in her eyes. Yet, it was too late for him, as finally Nozomi's true counter became known. The same spiral of Onikagahi returned to her, spinning faster than ever before, and stronger. It was timed just before he was about to crash on top of her, the very last moment so that he couldn't alter his trajectory in time to dodge with the same trick he used to move in mid-air, and she could easily adjust to any small alterations he made. The cycle of Onikagahi would be launched at him like an invisible disk, containing both the same kinetic and electrical energy from each of his attacks on her, combined with Nozomi's own might. They had never actually hit her, their forces only being redirected when he released them, while the supposed results of the attacks were just classic misdirection; smoke and mirrors. It very well looked real, especially in the heat of battle and the dulling of his senses, but they were nothing but an illusion to give her the element of surprise. And thus, all the energy was collected and stored, to be unleashed in one opportune moment. The disk would likely crash right into his approaching body with all of that power and launch him sky high with an epic thwack. Nozomi would likewise warp out of the way just in case, falling through a Garganta as it opened up beneath her. As she fell, she unleashed one last parting gift from the palm of her hand: a Holy Arrow. It would soar through the Garganta as it was closing up, following straight behind Sou's trajectory. The impact would create an explosion of bright white energy, much hotter than the lava used from before. A direct hit would most likely mean the end for him, as the core of the explosion came close to the temperatures of the sun. But even if it missed...

The clock continued to tick by, second by second, counting down the time her opponent had left to live. Nozomi would reemerge next to it, in mid-air again. It was the exact same spot she had been when he first launched himself at her. She just would situate herself to see him go out with a bang if he took the explosive arrow head on. It would be a spectacular light show.

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Overdrive - Word Count: 2837

With the lavas spewing everywhere, his arm burned to crisps and his batteries taken, it was clear that Lady Luck was not on his side for today and stood on the side of the disadvantage. Things are going to get tough if he doesn't fight on his actual capability, even wihout the use of the I.E.B.N device, he wasn't going to die too easily, because if he falls so easily, he wouldn't be called The Nightmare to fight the Demon Queen and fill himself with guts, wouldn't he? Though, Nozomi seems to underestimate him a little too much despite his limited combat ability because of the device that greatly limits him from fighting on full power and he has to rely on devices or machinery such as the International Electronic Brace Network, it doesn't mean that he can't fight seriously wihout it, even with his senses blurred or erased wihout any activity to his entire nervous system.

When she made an invisible disk flying right at him, with an incredible kinetic energy and electricity power held within that very projectile, shot forth right before his eyes, Sou seems to make a short adjustment to the side, there was no time for him to dodge when he was about to slam and crush her with an utmost force of his strength, but it doesn't seem to be his intent to dodge it as well, moving to the side to let it remove his left arm since his left hand was no longer durable to last much longer, and let it take out his entire arm in cold-blood, wihout a care to the condition of his body or the damage it took. However, it wasn't all of that, with the attempts for Nozomi to use something of a light or a holy-based arrow, he couldn't be more entertained than all of the hell he went through, with something that powerful, if she used it earlier, the Nightmare wouldn't need to go through much effort to deal with the other attacks if something like this can take out a human like him wihout even a blink of an eye. As the garganta was closing up and the arrow soared right out of the closing gap of the Garganta, all Sou made was a small chuckle, a grin across his lips as it seemed that it was all but a surprise for this quincy to behold, and words escaped from his lips before the gaps of the very Garganta shuts its gate right from the quincy's sight against the approaching human.

"You picked the wrong monster to deal with, shithead."

His words were dead-serious and cold for the ears to listen, even for Nozomi, it seems that he threw away all of the cockiness about his ability and with those intents, the Nightmare decides to show her that this is a monster that even Satan wouldn't even want to meet, the embodiment of darkness, peered right out from the shadows to grasp his victims right into the depths of Hell. When the arrow itself approaches into the vicnicity of his sight and the area where it was enough to get all by the breakthrough and reach out the only right hand he has left after his left arm was taken off entirely by the disk she used earlier, and before the holy arrow can even explode to a bright explosion of the light itself, his hand made an attempt to grab it with all of his force, suppressing its explosive prowess with pure force alone before its explosion and pressure can expand. His right arm was visibly breaking apart when his right hand forcefully grabbed the arrow, attempting to crush it by using an even greater power that surpasses the holy arrow's explosive prowess that can compare or stand close to the temperature of the sun, those facts doesn't stop him from trying to crush it, even if it means of losing his entire arm for it to wipe it out.

In a moment of flash, a pair of black wings began to sprout from his back, with raging power roaring outwards from his body, his eyes was suddenly glowing crimson red, so bright that it outshone the sunlight by its brightness and light it gave off. There was no killing intent radiating from his body or rather, for the first time, he activated his true awakening from his own will, over a fact that he was not ready to die yet before the big battle begun its course and to cast off the Holy arrow with his bare hands. His lost arm began to grow itself back into its original shape, with a black electricity burst right out of the flesh of where the arm should be missing, it wraps itself around to rebuild the bones, nerves, skin and flesh to its rightful place, and the arm was back to its former glory, while the holy arrow was soon overwhelmed by the sudden explosive power that was dramatically increasing higher into the ranks, and when his hand made its final push to grip to its fullest strength, the arrow of light itself was completely crushed out of the face of existence, energy was wiped out and there was never a scratch to the surroundings by the blinding light of explosive power of the arrow to ever mark its day onto the earth, crushed under the sheer force of his strength. The final push to the destruction of the arrow unleashed a powerful shockwave across the air, blowing outwards in a circular formation before covering the entire battlefield with nothing but sands and dusts to blind away one's field of vision from each other, and he was standing in the midst of it as his right hand was burned, not badly but there was a visible burnt mark across his palm, darkened from the arrow that he attempted to destroy, it did some pretty decent burn to the palm of his right hand, but Sou didn't care too much about the small details.

The clock that Nozomi built began to stop ticking, before its numbers was suddenly increased, rather indefinitely, and the increase in number of the time before his imminent demise after the destruction of his batteries and the functions of the I.E.B.N stopped its tracks, the clock was implode upon the indefinite increase in time of his life, that it could not handle the sudden changes in his entire structure of his very body, energy signals and soul that it confused the entire systems of the clock that forces it to explode, bursting into flames before it was extinguished by the winds. To him, this quincy was not easy to deal with, not to mention with the details of his device was all but memorized, the weakness was found out rather too soon, and made him curious about what happened, and that was why he continued to last himself longer before he actually went into the form of his own awakening, the dark side of his power, that is about to turn into the light.

From what he gained so far, these eyes of hers do give off quite some eerie feeling to it, even if it was some natural ability, it does gives off some hint of radiation when it is processing information for the quincy to acknowledge with all of these instanteneous information flowing right into her head, her 'All-Seeing Omnidou', if that was what he speculated. The photographic memory is what allowed him to do these processing, even if his nervous system stopped working, it doesn't mean that his brain stopped as well, giving him a small advantage to analyze the situation to a point of taking the train directly, a counter that Nozomi would soon get some serious issues with it. Since these information processing was done by sight, unknowing how capable it was, but since it uses sight and the use of her senses, if Sou made a mess of his spiritual energy and the signal it gives off, while tricking his own body and mind to do something that was considered 'non-sensible', 'cannot be comprehended', 'not normal' and such, it may ruin her informations and process the false ones out of the intentions he was about to do. It was just a speculated technique and it was not proven to be effective yet, but hell, he wouldn't throw away the chance of trying it out as well.

No matter how fast an information can be processed, if it is something that cannot be understood or something that a fighter or a 'normal person' like him wouldn't do, then he could throw off her understandings and the ability to process each and every single atom of his movements into acknowledgement. No more hinting, no more waiting, no more taunting, all but pure intentions to haul her corpse out of India so that she wouldn't disturb the citizens nor would the need to ruin the souveniers he is going to bring back after his fight with a certain person in New York. It wasn't much of his own style to be cautious of his own actions when it comes to fighting but if its about changing one's self with guts, well, it wouldn't be much of a work just to deal with a quincy that relies quite a lot on brains rather than brawn, but there is no way in hell he would care about such facts, with a simple reality that he is going to get through this shit, even if its going to cost him an eternity to get right past this person.

[ CHANGE SOUNDTRACK ]

"Best shot? That ain't it.. You're going to FLY."

Wihout furtherado, his entire figure flashed in a second, moving in a speed that it would take someone, although not entirely possible in Nozomi's case, if able to calculate the speed of sound in a single boom of a step by utilizing the explosive impact between his feet and the air by producing an 'anti-force' against the air particles which creates a 'collision and destruction' of the opposing particles, causing an explosion of air that allows him to move at fast speed by using the recoil from the explosion or at short, shockwaves. It didn't take even a second before his fist made its attempt to smash straight for Nozomi's face, an earth-crushing pure force right from his bare punch that was enough to wipe out an entirety of mountain into dusts, and in the case of their location, it was enough to split a path when it produces a shockwave from a direct punch by the force he unleashed from that single punch.

However, he did take precautions along, that he was not as stupid or weak as Nozomi can think of, that each punch that connects to her and the produced wormhole, that gave him time for a proper calculation to deal with it. The case of how he realised that there was a wormhole from the beginning in the first hit he landed on her previously, is because of the changes in pressure, space, atmosphere, anything that the wormhole can affect through the surroundings from the moment it exists, the space it fills, the gap it makes, the 'energy' it radiates, any possible characters that made such concept of the wormhole to exist and forces the changes between itself and the atmosphere or surroundings around the wormhole, and that change made him realise in the momentary of his hits, giving him the chances that allows him to create a proper and a possible counter against the wormhole if she were to create it again and redirect it back at him in a shape of a specific projectile, and that won't happen again the moment he experiences it, since he has provided a proper equation and the 'origininality' of the wormhole itself, allowing him to provide a counterattack any possible wormhole-related abilities against other enemies other than Nozomi in the future.

Depending if she decides to avoid that very punch within the gap of a single second for her to make her movements to adjust her body and the reaction she may use to survive the punch he was about the unleash, if the wormhole was used, the second the fist hits right at it, before she can take her time to close it, absorb it, redirect it or even give her the slightest picosecond she can afford to use to do all of these process, he may attempt to 'puncture' right through the wormhole itself, by disturbing the arrangements of particles that gives the wormhole its existence and its shape, the energy that arranges itself to make the wormhole function what it was made for, and by disturbing these arrangements and 'breaking apart' the frequency between the fabrics of the wormhole, it would pierce right through its core and smash its way against Nozomi's jaw with a force of a shockwave, enough to leave a crack between her upper jaw and lower jaw, a damage enough to make sure that there was never going to be another day where she can see the daylight again if she was going to piss him off and snap through the lines of his nerves.

If the method does not work, it uses a back-up where it vibrates throughout the surface of the wormhole, just like going 'around' the wormhole in a form of vibration, when it smashes right against any part of Nozomi's body, it could blast her from miles and miles away from her current position with an earth-crushing force from his fist, that the impact can be so great that the earth beneath them may split a couple of inches apart and a feet or two away by the pressure it creates from that single punch, but what comes in a cost was the injury of his right arm, wounds would cut right open across the arm that some would bleed and some would not, while it would sting just like a knife cutting across the surface of his flesh and forcing it to bleed. But all was worthed it with all the effort made into it.

The only thing he was going to deal with was the all-seeing Omnidou eyes, as he needs more information about it, more.. 'contact' with it by purposely letting it suck all the information that it can get by performing attacks or actions that it never witnessed before since it does give off some radiation quite a bit while it undergoes the process of information, especially between her eyes and the brain, it gives off a hint of electromagnetic waves where it is detectable for his own case, pushing him further into the advantage once he gets to know how it works, and provide a counter for it. His black wings was still roaring with power, as everything right here and right now is all just a beginning, that this quincy is going to witness the unknown, that she won't even understand the deepest parts of its atoms, even if she peered into the world of Godhood, this is why it was developed specially for himself, that it defies even the greatest understandings of the world, and energy create from the realm of imagination and the unknown, where he can freely change its particles whenever he wants to, neutral, negative or positive, he can switch into anything he would constantly in each and every atom of it, forcing her all-seeing Omnidou eyes to be thrown off by 'something that cannot be understood', and 'defies the law of physics within the understanding of the universe', those kind of cliche, but those weren't the point.

Chuckling at himself, his arms was crossed with a grin across his face, he was only tired from enduring all the attacks that Nozomi tried her best throwing at him, only to leave a wit of surprise to her in hopes of 'experiencing' how each and every inch of her ability works through the use of his photographic memories, and couldn't wait to experience it even more, giving him with a flow of knowledge and throwing right back at her. This was some type of a showdown between his photographic memory and calculation abilities against the All-Seeing Omnidou eyes, only to compete which are more superior and faster in 'experiencing' and using the information properly. The words released from his mouth was not distorted, giving it a clear sentence of his aggressive tone with no hint of sarcasticness behind it, but to hold something of a 'challenge'.

"I told you, don't even try to blame me if i'm rough, because i told you for the second time, EVEN VILLAINS HAVE STANDARDS!"

Shiftings his legs, his hand was placed on the side of his neck, before cracking it to the side to ease his muscles before he further continues and await for the quincy's attack, because he was tired of being the one on the offensive. Now then, let's see who is the most suitable monster to step in the realm of the living.

Artist: Celldweller - Song: So Long Sentiment

A loud bang sounded with the disappearance of his arm, following a slimy grumbling of gore spattering out behind him. The color red painted the air above him and created a thin cloud of crimson, while only specks of flesh—for the amount of force was so great that the part of his body that it hit would have turned to but grain—seemed to sprinkle outward before vanishing as the result of the devastating kinetic energy catching up with it. The limb that was struck, his left arm, was now wholly gone by his own attacks turned against him. There was a great hole just under his shoulder where that limb should have connected, but was now just a bloody gash chafed away by the assault. Burns could be seen around the socket as a result of the friction, combined with the electrical nature imbued by Sou's blasts. Additionally, because of that friction, the disk of energy that Nozomi had launched hadn't just blown through; the recoil from it hitting him would twist his body and slow his descent somewhat, keeping him from any attempts to try and race into the Garganta she sought to flee through, in case it was a part of his plan. This was caused by only fraction of the attack connecting with an outer segment of his body, which left to the imagination what a direct hit could have caused. Spinning, possibly disoriented, Sou would have a rougher time catching the bolt of holy energy that sped for his core, making subtle alterations in its trajectory to make sure it was on target, while simultaneously making it more difficult to intercept. These shifts were minute, barely perceptible to the naked eye, much less to a man spiraling and falling in mid-air with a partially-damaged nervous system (It hadn't been repaired just yet). So, while his intent was to snatch the bolt in the cusp of his hand and suppress its detonation with sheer strength, not everything would quite work out to plan.

He clamped down on the tail end of arrow before the tip could pierce his heart, and with unfathomable strength he squeezed to keep all that explosive power contained into the tight space between his fingers. Light shone through the cracks in his hands, pressure building, wanting to escape in a most volatile manner. Streaks of the energy would slip past slice at his skin to draw more and more blood, before cauterizing the wounds not a millisecond later; yet, Sou was successful in imprisoning that end of the explosion. The same... could not be said for the arrowhead—the other half of the projectile. Only a few inches of his chest, the tip would radiate outwards with searing light, encompassing the man's upper body. It burned, and felt like he was being cremated on the spot. The difference in temperature between the two halves of his body was so great that he'd lose the little feeling in his legs that he had left, so that the only thing he felt was the agony of being set ablaze. When the great light finally dulled, a blackened torso would remain behind, from his waist to the top of his bald head. His shirt was not worn; instead, a swarm of cinders floating around him. These were the consequences of taking every risk that was presented to him, always thinking the best solution was to gamble with intrepidity. To Nozomi, however, it was a war of attrition, and she was of the belief that Sou would defeat himself by gambling away his life. When Nozomi reemerged and met eye to eye with him, she would give a sly smile to the sudden seriousness coloring his expression. It didn't matter if you were serious, when your plan of action still was so precarious.

And so the he unveiled his awakening, sprouting two aberrant appendages from the smoking flat of his back, which could only be depicted as wings from their shape. They were like discolored angel wings, tainted by shadows. They gave off a crackling sound as forks of onyx light snapped at the ground in erratic intervals; it was an oxymoron, black lightning. His energy, having escalated vastly, was now as enigmatic as the strength he wielded in that an exact measure was hard to pin down. It surged out from his wounds with a snap-hiss that was both dim and bright, forming a layer around what once was. At will, the energy sparked, and his body was renewed to pristine condition, limbs and all. Every injury Nozomi had dealt to him so far was now gone without a trace, and a new opponent faced her in his place. Seemingly with ease now, Sou crushed the remainder of the Holy Arrow in the palm of his hand, beckoning a boom throughout the atmosphere as a shockwave coursed around him. Only lucent dust managed to sieve through his fingers, before fully dissipating, defeated at the hands of this new monster. He'd look at Nozomi with cold, cruel eyes that very closely resembled her own now. Yet, what he found was a girl who was still as apathetic as ever, and a clock that refused to stop ticking. Contrary to belief, the clock was not linked to Sou Yuuki by any concrete method; rather it was a projection of Nozomi's mind, reflecting what she herself figured his lifespan to be limited to. She made the numbers tick, she decided when the timer changed or paused, and she decided when it spontaneously erupted into flames—after all, her mind was far more precise and reliable than any formula or system could hope to be. Thus, even with the new form, Nozomi's calculations were not at all impacted. Was she not surprised? Perhaps it was all a bluff? Maybe. Maybe the timer was of no concern. Nozomi was completely fine with that; let him take the clock as he will, for it just ticked below the one minute mark.

The seeds of ruination were sown: He had managed to substitute his nervous system with a powerful alternative, and thus stall death by his own handicap, but Nozomi had other methods already in progress. Onikagahi, or Demonic Radiance as the Quincy's dark energy was known, was constantly growing and constantly spreading. Every moment that passed meant that she grew stronger. Onikagahi would infect every cubic inch of space around her, expanding a sphere of influence through which she could utilize her imagination as a weapon. It penetrated all substance, even other types of energy before it eventually overwhelmed and devoured it. A plague, an infestation, a curse, pollution, pestilence, the apocalypse; it could be called many things. It was only powerful entities with great sources of energy that could fight off the slow spread of Onikagahi into their own bodies, hence why Nozomi could not erase people from existence with mere thought, at least at first. Infecting these people required something more: An opening, and a medium. With the great wound caused by the disc of potent energy as the opening, and the holy light of her arrow as the medium, Sou had been infected. Onikagahi now advanced through his body through war, fighting his titanic spiritual force with waves of her own poison. One drop was all it took for the process to begin. Her energy would seem incapable of comparing at first, but it would always leave a mark. That mark would corrupt Sou's energy and convert it, bringing it to the side of the Onikagahi for another fight. Wash, rinse, repeat; attrition. Even if a tactic was used to purge the corruption from his body, he would always find it spark up somewhere else from a wayward spore of a pathetic size. Demonic Radiance wasn't just good at this process; it was the best. This is why the clock ticked down so assuredly, taunting the man who believed he was free of limits.

The man should just keep to punching, honestly, and not even attempt to outsmart an opponent whose mind was worlds beyond his comprehension. Yet, Sou would still try, distorting his own spiritual presence to a degree where he seemed to be jumbled all over the place. It was a like a screen of static on a television set, when the signal could not be read and only produced a nonsensical pattern of black and white pixels. It was truly cute, but pointless in achieving what he was trying to achieve. All it did was fool himself, when Nozomi was already on the path of understanding him more than he did. It may have been beyond his own ability to make sense of the noise he was creating, perhaps because it really did not make sense; That did not mean that the girl would be fooled—the Omnidou was above such parlor tricks. She did not give any indication that she was or wasn't affected by the distortion; she'd let him waste time trying to figure it out by himself. Nozomi was more focused on the indications of his body language, looking for that instance when he launched his assault on her. She knew it was coming for it was emanating off of every fiber of his being, that intent to break her and kill her. Then, as cliche'd as was possible, he forewarned her with a verbal statement of how she was going to 'fly'. She didn't hear his words. When they reached her ears all Nozomi could perceive was the action he was going to take immediately after his mouth shut. It was accelerated probability, where the future revealed itself to her based on what was most likely to occur, except on a massive scale. It was a buffer she needed in order to bring her hands in front of her before he devastated her with his fist.

She brought up the vortex again, throwing her vast energies into a spiral before her to cushion the blow, and bring it to a brief halt. When his knuckles drove into the center of the spiral, there was a deep booming bass sound that rippled through the air, followed by an intense screech that originated from where the two forces met each other. Onikagahi chafed around the edges of his hand and tried to thrust it away, yet he only continued to push deeper with the punch. Again, she was absorbing tons and tons of kinetic energy from this single blow—an overwhelming amount—but something was clearly different from this time and before. It seemed to take a long while before Nozomi realized it, but in reality it was just how slow this moment of time was moving for her: a powerful vibration was stemming off the face of his fist, gradually shredding through the spinning barrier. It would soon be upon her, and Nozomi knew she could not hold this attack back. The moment she realized this, her tactics changed. She stopped absorbing the energy and just started to divert it to the sides, which caused such friction that the air began to gleam red with searing heat. Nozomi would additionally hammer a sharp nail of her own energy into the heart of his fist to further split the force of the attack down the sides, before finally surging backwards with the use of the Quincy's high speed movement—the God Step. That's when the barrier finally crumbled underneath his might, obliterating the nail and racing after her. She wasn't fast enough to escape the indirect force before it caught up to her, albeit she lessened it as much as she could. She felt brutal pain across her entire front, as if she were being hit by an invisible meteor; her skin tore at several junctions, while flesh was tenderized and her bones crushed. Like a rag doll her body flew back at a speed that transformed her into a blur, streaking into the air and struggling to regain control of her trajectory. Her eyes were shut and her teeth clenched tight. Blood flowed behind her like the tail of a comet, before dissipating into fine particles throughout the air. Damn, that hurt.

It got to a point, some several hundred meters away now, that Nozomi grew tired of hurtling through the air, and she had to utilize her imagination to rewrite the magnitude of her momentum; shifting that several thousand meters per second velocity to precisely zero, Nozomi's body would stop on a dime so she could reorient herself upright. She was a goddamn bloody mess, leaking her precious crimson fluid from the skies and looking like a corpse upended. Her smile was gone, and she definitely did not look too pleased by taking a hit like this; yet, never for a moment did Nozomi seem to appear startled. Even when the two were up close and personal in that exchange, Nozomi did not widen her eyes or flinch. It was true to say that this kind of power was something she'd expected from Sou in his winged form. The reason she was not all too happy was because she had to deal with it for a while longer, waiting for her poison to end him before he could crush her in turn. That clock, while seemingly short, was actually a long time when the battle moved at such a profound pace; it was bothersome, it was, and it gave him the opportunity to act so cocksure while she struggled to defend herself. She would squirm, suddenly hacking up a glob of blood from her pierced lungs (one of many damaged organs) before devolving into a coughing fit. In the meanwhile she did not take her eyes off of Sou, fixing him with a cold glare just to let him know she was watching him. Her Onikagahi wrapped around her in a protective manner, instinctively forming a barrier as she was in such an injured state. However, Nozomi had other plans for the dark energy.

''As I imagine, it becomes,'' she whispered to herself, so far away from the man that it was unlikely for him to be able to hear it or lipread the words. She would straighten up her posture, putting her arms at her side to show how blood was streaming over her bottom lip and down her chin now. However, with a surge of her spiritual pressure, reality bent in on itself to make Nozomi anew. It happened so fast that it was difficult to tell when it had happened. The blood was gone, her flesh was whole, her outfit looking as if it were newly sewn; the Quincy stood as she did at the start of the fight, with not a single injury. Perhaps it brought with it a feeling of Deja Vu to her opponent, for he had done the same thing even if in a much less efficient and much more dramatic fashion. But oh, she was not done there. More Onikagahi streaked out as she raised her arms up on either side of her, changing reality as she wished it to be. Suddenly the entire area seemed as though a hurricane was blowing through it, with hundred mile per hour winds blasting in all directions away from Nozomi; she captured the wild essence of the wind, bringing it into a loop around her form like a ball. As it shrunk down to a more manageable size, the force of the wind became much more focused and condensed, speeding up to velocities that would shred matter apart with ease. Then light blazed to life around her in the form of fire—not red, orange, or yellow, but light blue. Despite being so far away, even Sou could feel the heat burning at him, like he was swimming in the fire already. Nozomi had created a miniature sun, and she too would shrink that down into a condensed force around her, creating a ring of fire around the sphere of wind. Then an ocean of water materialized out of the blue, floating in the air and dropping temperatures so far down that ice began to crystallize on Sou's skin where only moments ago it felt like he was in an oven. She repeated the same process, condensing the element tightly into another ring around her, so concentrated that it couldn't decide between being a liquid or a solid. It joined near fire in perfect harmony, turning diagonal and spinning in the opposite direction without interfering. Then finally, Nozomi raised her arms to the sky, directing attention to several dozen colossal meteors that had spawned in the air from nothingness. They looked to crash into the surface of India with enough force to destroy entire country each, but she brought a stop to them. By balling her hands into fists, she crumpled the great masses into but mere tennis ball sized stones, polished smoothly across their surfaces. They formed around her like an asteroid belt, joining the other elements at Nozomi's command.

While it was true she could just warp away from Sou's aggression and let his time wind down to zero, there was merit to standing her ground and displaying her power; a message. She'd hidden and kept secretive for so long already, and now she was wanting to make herself known. By conquering countries by herself and crushing opposition such as this man and anyone else who considered themselves powerful, she was spreading the word that she was someone to fear when she made her presence. Nozomi knew this was the case, but it was a matter of making it known to the world. That's why she'd come to India, expecting to bring Zefonse to his knees, and perhaps he would still arrive. And it wouldn't stop here in India—she already had plans for other lands past here. She'd drive it through until it was doubtless among the hearts of all realms. So yeah, she could just walk away and let bygones be bygones, but she wouldn't. ''Let's see you lay a scratch on me again, kid.'' Her voice echoed out unnaturally loudly, challenging him to repeat the same feat as moments ago, as if it was suddenly beyond him. And as hypocritical as possible, she would launch forth immediately after she finished speaking. With the power of the wind, she shot off faster than the God Step could take her, while thrusting her hands forward to launch off a series of attacks: First, one of the compact stones broke off from the chain and presented itself in front of her. And, off of that sphere broke off an even smaller stone shard that was merely a small fraction of the whole; slightly larger than her thumbnail. It was shot like a bullet at Sou Yuuki's chest, faster than the sonic boom it created in slight as it broke through several barriers of sound. If and when it hit, it would be packing a punch that would give the demon male an issue, without enough force to puncture lengthwise through a line of tens and hundreds of modern-class carriers and only degrade by a slight amount. This projectile looked to not only perforate him entirely, but release shockwaves of collateral damage all throughout his body to tear his insides up and expand the hole it caused.

Subsequently, Nozomi's second attack was already in following while she continued to speed up towards him. Rising out from the ring of fire in six different directions, were infernos contained within the shape of balls, launched away into the air. They appeared to have no purpose at first, considering their trajectories, but that would soon be disproved as Nozomi curved them inwards toward her enemy. They converged on him like heat-seeking missiles, set to arrive only moments after the stone did. He'd still be dealing with the subsidiary forces of that initial attack by the time they smashed together on top of him from different directions. It would cause an explosion of blinding shades of azure and ivory, encompassing him hundreds of times over, hotter than even the magma jet from before. Nozomi spared no expenses in making sure it felt like he was caught beneath the surface of the sun, and hoped it burned him alive. Then, to finish it all off, Nozomi would use the cover of the bright explosion to conceal her finishing strike in this series, this time using herself as the projectile. She charged headlong into the supernova-esque explosion, her barrier of wind expanding slightly to keep the fire at bay, but at the same time catching alight itself. Finding Sou within would be easy with the Omnidou, locking onto him despite his distorted spiritual signature. Then, putting one last burst of speed on she rammed into him like a bumper car, fronting him with the surface of the wind to send him rocketing outside of the explosion and into the roof of the Rashtrapati Bhavan while on fire. The revolutions of the wind would in turn cause Sou to spiral uncontrollably as well while he was sent flying, and chafe away at whatever part of him took the brunt of the assault.

When the entire series was finished, Nozomi paused at the core of the blooming flames now, and began to draw them back in. They imploded and receded into the ring of fire once more, cooling the air once more. Nozomi would stand there looking down at Sou Yuuki as the elements swirled threateningly around her, easily able to bypass all obstacles between him and her with the sight of her Omnidou. Again, the place in where she stood was directly below the clock she'd created, as if she loved returning to this spot very much. It made it so that whenever he looked up at her, he had to also look at those numbers tick down. And knowing that very much amused Nozomi.

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Cruel Reality - Word Count: 8236
Being a human with brawn but zero brains was an utter disadvantage for him, against an opponent who had more experience in terms of combat against him, it was a complete loss. With Nozomi being turned anew, his tracks stopped at the single point when he took the first step, silence occuring through the silent air of India before everything happened within a great flash. Breathing normally, when a pebble was shot forth against him like a bullet, his eyes tightened, considering as a body language to Nozomi, his bare eyes made a precise calculation, even under the absence of his device, all the information surged to his mind, wings still spinning wildly like an untamed beast, it seems that some unknown force was assisting him out of an ordinary nature that when the bullet's moving faster than the eye could see, to the Nightmare, when his eyes tightened and his breath was stabilizing, if Nozomi's ears or her Omnidou eyes could precisely pinpoint his heartbeat, it became much slower, beating in a much slower rate for a couple of seconds, which normally, it would mean death when less oxygen was pumped to the entire body or at least fainting would be the case, however, to him, his concentration would be focused on the entire surroundings, all 360 degrees as if the time had slowed down to him, senses heightening at a level above his own even for a human like him.

The spherical stone held an extreme force behind it, enough to make sure that an entire army would be gone from her sight the moment it made its way to its desired target. However, when it made its impact, a bullet-like stone moving faster than the 'speed of sound', it was stopped by merely nothing but a compressed air around him together with his electromagnetic field. By collecting enough electrons into the single area, together by utilizing the air pressure across his surroundings, before the stone itself even made its way to the impact zone, it was dramatically slowed down by slowly crumbling its speed using extreme dense pressure, as if an invisible concrete wall was made personally for the stone to puncture and slow down each and every centimeter of it, eventually to a level where it would simply stop a mid-air, halted by the defensive mechanism he had planned all the way from the beginning. All slowed down, information processing than this so-called 'faster than sound', this is what his true ability was in this state of awakening. Breaking the limits of his false capability, it was his true awakening that made all the work, simply to stop one bullet of a stone that held so much force behind it when Nozomi made her workings against it and shot it as if it was made to kill him, but nonetheless, when halted by the defense he made throughoutly to stop a single thing, he utilizes its remaining force of the shockwave and anything brought together with the actual force when it approached the impact zone by allowing it to vibrate across the surface of the electromagnetic field, and when it reaches a collision point or end-point on the back of his electromagnetic field, the remaining force would explode behind him, so much force that the earth broke apart and rose upon the air like newly-built mountains, before wiping out the remainings of anything behind those broken rubbles created from the force of that very stone alone.

His voice soon echoed through the destruction before her second series of attacks going against him, Sou's eyes made its last glance against the likes of Nozomi, with nothing but a displeased attitude, and opening his mouth, only leaves a tone of boredom and annoyance mixing together in a short form of his sentence. "And i thought you were going to do something extraordinarily big. I guess i have to push you further than that to make you eat your own words."

It was just like any ordinary attack. To him, these balls of flames, even if they are hotter than the sun or compared to it, they are nothing more than an enhanced version of fire, and even if they have the heat enough to end the world itself, his electromagnetic field was never for a show. By using proper mathematical calculations and the forms of electromagnetic radiation, these heat are nothing but a form of radiation in their wave state instead of particles, while itself carries the energy that produces heat energy, and using the electromagnetic radiation to carry out the entire 'heat' compared to the sun and fires enough to leave him burned to death like any other ordinary human, Nozomi had made one single mistake that she never took from the beginning. Because of their gaps in power, she used as little force and enough to kill him, great, that was perfect, but what really makes him different that he was not an 'ordinary human', and not force alone can kill him that easily, no matter how powerful one is, if they are blinded even with eyes greater than anything in world and devices better than any technology in history, the only thing they would only get away with it was underestimation. A lesson learnt during the Australia War, and should not be taken too easily in such fight, that just because he is a human doesn't mean he is one. Sou doesn't earn the Nightmare title just for fun, it was to show others that he had power, even wihout spiritually enhancing himself, he was able to compare himself against even shinigamis in their bankai state, that is why he took the challenge against Mana.

By defending himself against the heat by altering his frequency to a higher rate, his electromagnetic field was able to create an opposition force which repels heat through electromagnetism, and its radiation or for short, thermal radiation that was related to the electromagnetic radiation would all go past right across the surface of his field while being completely unaffected by the likes of the said heat itself when made its field in a higher frequency. While to the flames she casted upon him, just like any other attack he had always dealt with, much like a defensive system against attacks, he would force the entire field to vibrate powerfully by creating an explosive force against one of the areas of the electromagnetic field, vibrating like a chainsaw and utilizing the previous air pressure he made earlier ago where he would also extend his vibration furtherout by bouncing off each and every possible air molecules like oxygen, hydrogen and carbon and creating an extended sheild that blocks out the flames from approaching him. If he had enough 'skill' to utilize the electricity further, although not a complete master on it, if he could do so, he would've broken down the oxygen into ozone where these flames would not be able to ignite wihout the presence of oxygen and be wiped out completely, however, considering his current state, he could not use such an extensive and complex ability so far to wipe out the flames in such large area.

What comes unexpected was being rammed on directly against the areas of his ribcage while standing in the midst of the roaring flames, even if the force was not enough to compare with Yukuri's train, it was enough to make a short snap to the bones of his ribcage and vomit a small volume of blood from his mouth, pure blood red from his body, and before he was blasted to the top of the building when rammed, this close-range opportunity allowed him to make an undetectable zap to the layer of her skin, holding no sense of any energy at all, it was utterly weak and does not do anything, but that short zap would hold his objective soon after that. Making a large booming sound when his body spiralled like a wild doll blown away by the strong wind and crashed into the roof of the Rashtrapati Bhavan while he brought some remainings of the flames from the destruction to appear as if he was visibly caught on fire in such short span of time. It was a few minutes after his body crashed into the rooftop, the rubbles crumbled from the area where his body flew and blasted right into it like a flying ragdoll. It was obvious, yes, all obvious that he took all the damage earlier ago, it was sure that all of them took a direct hit since he stood there wihout moving a single inch until he was rammed by the likes of the quincy.

His body, covered in dusts and smoke as he fell out from the rubble and into the ground, when the dusts made clear to the eyesight, his body came out, clear and unharmed, other than the chest area where he took the ramming head-on and did some damage to the areas of his ribcage, dealing some desired damage that Nozomi may have expected, however, besides the ramming itself, it was as if Sou came out from these attacks untouched wihout even making a flinch from it at all, not even a cut was seen by the series of attacks she had thrown at him, and to him, those are the weakness of those who underestimate the capability of others because they have achieved higher form of power, thinking that these attacks can kill a human like him so fairly easily because of the absence of his device and tapping into the awakening, it doesn't mean he would just die in a blink of an eye. Sighing as he patted his own clothes with ease, all of the efforts required to defend himself from the most barrage of attacks was a tough work when it comes to calculating and taking the risks of trying to slow down his senses to calculate everything at an abnormal speed to keep up against the speed of her stone and the heat from the blazing fire she made. Slowly walking towards the quincy, making each and every step slowly, his lips only made a wide grin as he began to prepare his own attacks back at her as well after taking all of them wihout retaliating during the process, and Nozomi should be glad that he didn't take any countermeasures during the process of taking these attacks. It may not go well during the process, but even if it went wrong, all he would take at the least was nothing else but a small burn and a scratch on his cheek. Chuckling as he walked slowly towards the quincy, his tone became more menacing, arms widened up as if to offer a hug, before he stopped his tracks after the 5th step.

"Man! I thought i was going to die! I congratulate you for shattering my ribcage and almost suffocating me to death in the midst of these flames. Consider me nice enough to hint you into killing me. You think why the hell did i move from country to country just to kill the Demon Queen, eh, thug? Well, i never thought in the first place that this is all you could do to try and kill me after running off that mouth of yours. Man~ I am absolutely, positively dissapointed by you. Now then, i guess it is my turn to return you the favor by showing you who's the real monster in this battlefield, and i'll land a good scratch on you where you'll never be dreaming of getting it again in the next life. You'll be dying along with that timer of yours, you bitch!"

It was not a surprising fact of how he survived all of these attacks. If it was so easy to kill him, anything else like Shadin's blast from the mesosphere or even Yukuri's train would go as far as obliterating his existence entirely if it weren't for his potential and the will to live through everything. Yes, all of that fight, even here, it was all for gaining more power. To him, everyone including of his former friends, was all scared of him because of his uncontrollable strength that harmed everyone that was close to him. Fight, death, destruction, if he could pull through the struggle of killing every innocent bystanders and defeat the ones that is stronger than him, one day, he would gain a power above anything else, to allow him to protect and people would no longer fear of his power that gained the absolute. That was he was aiming for, and would go through all the pain and regret to run through these bloody courses, even if it was to break his sanity altogether and become the 'bad guy'. Indeed that everything that he did was driving him nuts, and now, it was driving him furthermore into the depths of insanity so much that he could just continue laughing even if he had his bones broken, limbs severed from his body or blasted a giant hole to his body. He can never know what's going on around him, not sure why he struggled so much to defeat the Demon Queen by gaining more power, so that the 'darkness' would be wiped out of his sight and soon regain what's rightfully his, the humanity and the sanity he has lost for many years since birth, and all that, was to defeat her and get them back.

[ CHANGE SOUNDTRACK ]
It was never right to kill innocent bystanders, he knew that, but when it comes to gaining more power, he couldn't care less than to drop a grin and move foward to whatever he is working onto wiping out its existence. To him, wihout outright killing Mana with his bare hands, no matter what good of a deed he may do, everything will end up the same as long as the very 'evil' exists in this world to produce more darkness, covering his sight and turning him into a monster above everything else of that of a human's, driving them fear and potentially avoiding him, locking him into the world of solitary, regret, pain and darkness alone. Its more into how his entire past works when the society first rejected him, further impacting his mentality as he was already in the growth, before his personality was overridden with violence when those are close to him tried to pick a fight against him, only to bring him what he used to be, a type of monster that kills someone wihout even flinching, with cold-blood, no pity nor was there anything called 'sympathy', all through sheer cold-blood, no matter who it was, his bare hands held no tolerance against its victims and slaughter them wihout even a hint of caring.

It would go the same for Nozomi's case, but it was not a matter of whether she is an innocent or not, that she is trying to take over a country that had great souveniers and for a person like her to challenge the previous ruler, was nothing more than a laughing stock to thumb downwards. Sheer dissapointment, that he knew that this is personal political system but who cares in such cases? As long as he was able to draw fun right out of this fight, he would care less for even a God itself to interfere this fight. This battlefield just got started on his own, and not even a finger was lifted when she blasted every possible attack she could against him. It was all thanks to Nozomi that rammed him, and yes, he 'thanked' her for ramming him when he previously took the flames head-on. The only thing that Sou didn't took cautious of was the lack of oxygen he had when these flames produced a ton of carbon dioxide on the process of burning, which would mostly lead him to unconciousness or suffocation when it comes to the lack of oxygen, though when she rammed him out and into the roof of the very building, he took those very minutes to pretend the fact that he took the brunt of the assault from her earlier attacks to catch his breath for more oxygen intake, enough to keep his lungs full of oxygen in case she were to re-try the method of burning him again, but this time, with his hint going to her ears, she may try to suffocate him in many ways other than just bare flames.

Everything is just the same, everyone is just the same. If he could get more power.. and defeat Mana once and for all, his sins may all be lifted. Wind slowly grew stronger again, and this time, the Nightmare was not chanting anything, nor was there any signs of attack, before gathering into one place as it grew stronger, his eyes shone through almost through the entire battlefield with nothing but an empty expression across his face. One noticeable trait was the steady climb of his power, together with the pressure and the chi energy of his body, climbing at a rate faster than Nozomi may be able to predict herself when it comes to sudden changes of his own power. The drive to kill the Demon Queen, the will to gain more power and win, even when he loses, he could take his mistakes and mend it as if it was a broken machine, and if he has to fight the Demon Queen with all of his power and defeat her, it means that he will have to clear her own from the threat list and find the potential of his own abilities. The wind spun in a circular formation when it gathered to his position, growing tremendously stronger before the entire India would've felt a spike of power blasting upwards from the very earth, very much enough to take up an enough power against several bankais at once or even a few shikokais at best of his current state of mind and how he re-runs the entire system of his abilities, both internally and externally where the system was changed to a more saving yet allowing him to unleash more power alone. This was the beginning, not the end of his progression in the battlefield. Now then, it was time to teach the quincy what is TRULY means to face something bigger than herself, when it comes to a determined state of mind, everything fixed in motion and planned out from the start. It was something that meant for him to stop berserking and think this out, throughoutly wihout wasting even a drop of even a picosecond of every fibre of earth's rotation and breath wasted. No more, everything processing in his head further than the speed that his device could even predict in its machinery, this was far-by the highest form of power he could tap into wihout even requiring to obtain his full awakening and staying on his true awakening state. His eyes were cold, staring sharply at Nozomi as if she was no longer something 'lower than himself' but facing her at an equal level, but her? She will be taught what it means to be dragged down along with those pair of eyes, ripped to shreds by his bare hands and she will, from now on, even regret of trying to use it as a sort of 'advantage' to be able to predict 'anything, even the impossible' stuff. He'll see whether calculation or the all-seeing Omnidou eyes would do a greater job, together with his determined mind doing the work, to Sou, everything is like a piece of cake, waiting to be eaten.

Infection? Don't fuck with him, when it comes to trying to cripple him from the inside, his energy source is not all-mighty, but it was enough to create an opposition force akin to much like the clash between matter and anti-matter, and since it has throughoutly infected his body with it, he took no time to utilize its entire structure, and before then, it was time to make it better or yet, worse. Stirring up his internal structure, he did the impossible, through creating an imaginary plasma, right inside of the core of his body, and to complete remove the infection, what he tries to do was to evaluate the concept of the energy that Nozomi used, that not everything is impossible for a human like him, that even a God, has limitations itself of what it can do. Corruption to his energy is nonetheless a futile move. In what way can a water corrupt a fire? In what way a particle can corrupt an anti-particle? That is how the entire concept works. The more she tries to corrupt him from the inside, then he'll just stir up the corruption, intentionally make it stronger with an anti-source that makes its corruption both stronger and worse, before completely wraping his insides, filled with an intensive amount of energy, more than the chi energy that he stores in his very body, further creating an entire structure of his body to counter this 'energy' she made to corrupt, curse, or anything she says of for this ability. This is what 'imagination' can truly do, that doing the impossible by breaking the laws of what an ordinary plasma should not have in the first place, it was time to turn the tables and show Nozomi who's the boss here.

If this method was nulled, however, he wouldn't leave the infection to spread as it wishes. Instead, using the method of compression, he creates an energy internally and compressing it, forcing its compressed energy to radiate much stronger, and in its small size and terrifying intensity where the majority of power and energy cramped into one small orb, it was enough for his own physical body to unleash an explosive amount of power, bombarding the entire area of India with fear, a pressure in a level so intense that a human like him shouldn't attain it in the first place, but by utilizing the so-called 'laws' across the system of his body, he can make the drawbacks worse, or these 'side-effects' much riskier, but in return, he'll further increase the power output, overwhelming the numbers of these energy that infected his body with sheer power, exploding miles and miles away, visible enough to create a glowing red light across the surface of his skin, while its invisible pressure creates a light distortion of energy, exploding upwards into the sky like a roaring wild beast tamed only by its owner, and that was the monster himself. Fight fire with fire, ain't it?

[ CHANGE SOUNDTRACK ]
It was true that he does not have the ability to fight against someone with potential as great as hers, but if going all-out is what she wants, then he wouldn't hold back his title of the 'Nightmare' across the streets and the deserts of this battlefield. Indeed that he was no God nor was he ever strong in the beginning, that if she is going to take him down, it wouldn't be such an easy feat to begin with, no matter how much she was to physically or even mentally torture him in every way, from the beginning, he was already insane enough to do these things, to fight someone beyond his level and understanding, and beyond of what he can do with just bare mortal hands, but that is what makes him strong. Making up the weaknesses he has shown in his losses in battles, Sou made sure those are covered well enough from being seen, and with that said, it was time for him to get into the offensive than letting the Quincy have her own little way. He doesn't care about conquering or defending the country of India, but the souveniers? Not so easy for her to take just about everything that belongs here.

Short after the wind around him grew stronger, it would begin to take effect before a spiral of wind began to become much stronger before a spin of tornado, no tricks or game, no supernatural use of energy, just pure collection of strength and a tuned frequency of his own natural pressure that provides the perfect atmosphere and humidity located only across the surface of his skin that affected the flow of the wind and began to form a natural tornado around him wihout harming an inch of his skin and flesh itself. As if manipulated by a type of power, if observed carefully, in Nozomi's case, its an easy fact that there was no signs of energy that affects the entirety of the tornado that caused it to spin, and appeared because of the specifications it required to form a mini-version of it, only to be summoned through the mother nature's will by nothing more than a human like him. No more chit-chat, no more past thoughts, no more life of sinnery or anything else. All of his concentration would be purely instinct and the drive to destroy anything that stands by his path of destruction. If he has to be proven worthy to fight Mana, then she wouldn't be a hard-headed one to get through.

The wild tornado would began to break down to pieces in an exaggerating speed, before exploding outwards only to form orbs of his own plasma, built from the unknown and divine laws of his own, energy purely made out of his very own 'system' and 'law' he came up with alone, a concept of nothing yet something, an existence that is only proven both dead and alive by his bare conciousness, something that twists the logic of a mortal like him, a man that steps foot in the realm of where he shouldn't be, and a concept of existence made by his own power. That is the Imaginary Plasma, that allows him to build other sources of 'existence' that gaves it similarities of a plasma, but connected to his own system to build such thing, it can do just about anything that he wishes it to be, whether would it be a destructive blade that strikes down even the mightiest warriors, explosives that bombards the area around him as if they were exploding candies or summon his own variation of meteor built out of that concept. Take control of it? He'll erase its existence by removing all the codes inside before anyone even with a high calculative skills, built specially against opponents that might have skills similar to Nozomi's Omnidou Eyes, he could manipulate the existence of his own energy or even take out the concept of its 'existence', while allowing its essence to stay alive that codes its very form and life to become a 'weapon' of his mind. That is what gives its potential as the 'Imaginary Plasma', made purely out of his own concepts and ideas, built it and made it as if it were part of his body, something that created the dark side of his personality and power, the true power of a mortal human with bare strength enough to wipe the red paint off of his screen.

Since its more of an 'all-out centre', the Nightmare wouldn't mind making more than just a few, that over a hundred of them was enough to soar tall and wide before his figure that stood behind the destruction that Nozomi once made against him in attempt to burn and ram him alive with her abilities. Hundreds of them shot off in a beam, like a laser seeking to rip its victim apart in its hundreds, and as while they seemed small and fragile, they are considered powerful enough to make sure not an inch of its target is left unscathed, with a power akin to a blowtorch cutting through a thick material, they wouldn't have any problems in making a mountain vanish from sight within a matter of seconds considering of their numbers and firepower alone, even if they are easily deflected and weak. Brought together with a precaution, Sou didn't forget about the damage-absorbing attack that she had used against him earlier ago that left her repaired, if not, even a scratch to her bare skin with a good strength pushed behind it, these plasmas vibrated strongly as it travels across the air and advancing towards Nozomi in sheer number, that if she were to try and absorb the damage as much as possible, he takes his vibrations to a whole new level where he induces them when the tornado was around and about before it was broken down to pieces to form these imaginary plasmas as planned, and during the impact in absorbing the damage, this time, instead of using the same technique against the likes of the quincy, he tunes the vibration into specific frequencies where it splits itself apart to different forms, each holds enough power to crush a concrete wall while blasting in sonic speed, and within the interval of where the damages are being either reflected or absorbed, the vibration would much be leaking out from any openings, even the smallest ones like a cracked glass with water leaking out of it, it uses that type of concept that allows the vibrations to phase through the likes of the black holes or the vortex she uses and reforming itself into one blast of vibration that once split into four, which that one blast can make sure that Nozomi's ribcage would be nothing more than bones that is torn to pieces and crumbling from its former glory, giving him hundred times the pain she rammed to his body earlier ago.

That was not all, that she has to pay for the bills and taxes she had not given yet. A taste of victory? Not the style that really suits him. Tasting the defeat and the darkness within his own flesh would be much preferred to let her know that not everything is as weak as she thought they would be, even if they have no powers, even when they are a human, powerless beings that have no supernatural abilities to fight against them. Throwing down more fire and tuning up the heat even more, there will no time for the quincy to kick off and rest this well out of the fray, before things get a little spicy when he pulsed a mile long radius electromagnetic pulse across the earth beneath them, and there would be electricity crackling upwards from the earth after implanting electrons to the ground in order to efficiently create electricity from the ground and make it travel upwards. Making use of the earth's neutral atoms on its surface, it was easy enough for him to temporarily implant the negative particles, electrons to the earth to create a burst of electricity that explodes upwards with energy. During the burst, he would manipulate the electricity by using the electromagnetic field that his body produces in his true awakening state, and manipulating the plasma and the electrons that resides within the forms of the electricity to gather up onto his very palm, constructing a shape similar to a spear, a lance, somewhat resembles Ulquiorra's Lanza Del Relampago, its size is much bigger and more electrifying appearance that fire-like appearance that makes up a shape of a spear or a javelin.

However, both of them functions rather differently, going through the style of his own 'explosiveness', its much like fighting water with fire, but to him, there's no 'giving it a try', as these are absolute attacks that will be thrown at her wihout any hesitations. Grinning across his lips, before he makes sure it was coordinated perfectly, that even if she moves, with predictions made to possible positions accordingly to her behaviour and fighting stance, the chances of these predicted places that Nozomi may move to have its own 50/50 chances, but if she were to move, the spear would be directed right at the position she may or may not move, especially if she were to appear before him, he wouldn't even hesitate to blast them together with an utter destruction if it was to gift her a wounded surprise. "Here comes the scratch, fuckin' brat."

It was a give or take situation, and obviously, there was no time to shake it and take it on his own circumstances that drives him so far. Most would shake their heads in this situation and let bygones be byhones, and would feel as if he had a death wish for not walking away from those that has greater power than he does, a grave-digging wish, but this is what drives him strong, his mindset being specific to a single goal to defeat what's before him, the Nightmare's own path to choose from. Not handpicked by others but by himself, this is how he leads his own path, whether would it be a blood-stainted one or a new path forged before his eyes, it was his will to choose, life or death, that's a draw for his own hands. With a quick rotate with the spear, he would make an attempt to launch it at her, with an input of strength into it, while it physically hurts in results of his strength after the initial launch of the spear he once held in his hand, now thrown at Nozomi, it held together with an electrifying force that explodes outwards with an enormous force, with electricity that flows across the earth before the earth would rip itself apart by the lightnings that had suddenly exploded forth from the ground, all within a collected radius of a kilometer wide, enough to make sure that Nozomi was caught in it even if she were avoid from a direct hit. Enough with hundred times more frying than the lightning bolts itself, it was a good barbeque to say that her nerves would most likely end up being dusts, while bones would be as dark as a freshly roasted chicken ready to serve the plates. She would have some chances of escaping in terms of her capabilities, but it won't be an easy feat even if she had the speed itself.

Breaking off the course, with these electrical discharges exploding just about everywhere from where he had set it off, the game was just the beginning. Gathering upon his palms when the Nightmare reaches out, the electricities would leave from the initial destruction of the battlefield and all soon gathered to the palm of his hands, with a grin of his face, there was more up his sleeves to show who he's truly made of, through the wrappings of darkness that engulfs his body and mind, there was no other feat to take it in order to fight the impossible. It had to break his mind, to make sure his targets vanquish, from the sight. To be proven worthy enough to fight anything that stands in his way, he was ready to take the risk of his own life, that this was never a game, but a bloodbathing battlefield that shall rain upon the palm of the Nightmare. Going all-out meant to put as much damage as he could against the likes of Nozomi at one go, with his body slowly shredding out of energy from bombardments after bombardments, there was more to it than just sheer power, it was the determination that drives him to fight the so-called Demon Queen, that if he lost this fight, there won't be any worth to get so sweaty in this corrupted fight between a human and a quincy. Both almost of the same race but with different views and powers, that is what makes them 'different', and that difference makes their head clash. Whoever started it first, that was not the deal anymore. It was now whoever ends this battle first and stands as the last one, and that will drift his legs to the core, no matter what kills him.

Widening his arms further away from each other, Sou would first split the plasma into four orbs, before each fired a beam of hot plasma that had a nature of a laser, ripping through matter like butter, while with an old-fashioned explosion from the gaps of the destruction ripped solely by the beams, though if Nozomi caught directly to it, it would be more than a suicidal attempt to slice her body into half but in terms of abilities and endurance-wise, he highly doubted that it would do much of a scratch against her but this is what 'going all-out' was for, throwing all possible attacks he could use until it exhausts him with no more physical energy AND spiritual energy. There was no time to take a breathing as well, that after those beams, there had more ahead of him than she ever thought of. Making use of his bare wings that crackled electricity different from the ones he had summoned, he chuckled before bursting into nothing more than a sinister laughter, as if insanity had consumed him fairly long ago when he tapped to such stages. No anger, just plain insanity that drives him further away from his once-serious self in this fight, and that smile to his face truly shines his moments, that even when he had gone insane, there was no saying that he actually had forgotten his motives, as he still remembers what to do, of course, in his own style in this half-assed battlefield.

His wings would soon crackle an even stronger discharge of black electricity, in much different nature than the original's, it was an element, no.. it may be wrong, as this was more preferrable to be called as an 'ability', he refrained himself from using until he finds them deemed too rough for him to fight even using at his utmost power. Black electricity slowly crawled to his right hand like a snake slithering through the surface of his skin, with no fear to his expression, it was time for her to be prepared for the unknown. Even if one has access to every details in the world, even for the Omnidou eyes, presumably eyes that can even comprehend the unknown and break into its deepest core, what this black electricity he made had no such puny thing as 'core' or 'original existence'. Purely constructed, not 'existed', from the depths of his dark side, the personality that he had assumed a 'curse', something that he didn't need to harm others with it. Built with his own laws and systems, to him, they are more of his 'essence of darkness', connected to his rather dramatic dark past and his negative personality, it was constructed out of that persona, which he stated that 'it has no existence', but it is something that constructed from a persona. Even if one had the ability to wipe out an 'existence' of something that gives it the form to be apart of the reality and the 'world', it was nowhere in that category. Even destroying him would leave the essence of his darkness, and that would most likely be reincarnated by any source that finds it. It was something that he had hidden for a long time behind the cover of these wings, and finally, revealed to the likes of the quincy.

Though, these so-called 'essence of darkness' that spawned from the depths of his personality was still nothing more than an element or an ability, if one were to call it, that can be destroyed by another ability or an element, although considered to be much stronger than his Imaginary Plasma, using it would put his mental state at risk, as the more he uses it, the more 'broken' he becomes, where the 'darkness' and the insanity would slowly consume his mind when he uses it over and over again, despite being stronger. Considerably, even if he had run out of spiritual energy, these black lightning he wields has one of his own, and those resides in those pair of wings behind his back. Considered being one of his body's reservations if he were to ever get into an emergency situation, this is why he held back from using it and withdraw from battles that may be his absolute loss, but this battle still held a glimpse of hope in winning, even at its lowest chance, he'll take up the bite and make an attempt to fight through the fires of hell and the 'guardian' that stands in his way to fight the Demon Queen.

Indeed that his mental structure in the regions of self-conciousness and emotional control would weaken the more he unleashes the usage of this 'ability' of his and would altogether drain the storage of energy within his pair of wings as well, that, he knew the consequences yet even so, the Nightmare was already insane from the beginning, that if he was sane, he would not have taken so many risks in his many previous battles and would've escaped from this obvious fight that he had a very high chance of losing in this bloodbath, but the blood inside of him was driving him to the core, so much that he wouldn't care anymore and would even take things to the next level if he had to, that in times like this, surrendering or running away isn't his style but facing at his opponent on an equal ground is more of his style, and playing the villainous role was never apart of his ground but more the role of a young man who just 'happened' to be apart of this battlefield, that was all. With that being said, it was time for some groove in the lawn. The black electricity began to twist and wrap around on the face of his very palm, before it lengthen itself and bent to the shape of a katana, with a hilt and a blade made purely out of the essence of his own power, though similar to the ones he had using the Annihilator and his false awakening, this one held a little difference, and indeed, performs something surprising in its own way.

Of course, at first, it was some basic movements, shifting left to right, although he has no style of swordfighting in any way, if treated as it was his own crutch, it was no different than wielding his usual weapon, with a strike downwards to make a full blow of strength, if Nozomi were to block it, with anything from objects to even forcefields, there would be a realization that the force that the blade unleashes was not itself, nor did it hold any exaggerating and exploding spiritual power of sorts, but that force was blown out using his bare strength, and due to that, whether had he missed the strike or blocked, behind it, there would be a little party surprise. There would be a few seconds delay to keep her temporarily off-guard, making sure to let her know that the katana was not much of a surprise, that even an atom of it does not contain any spiritual energy than just 'energy' itself that makes up its shape of a katana, otherwise, any spiritually-enhanced force was not added to it. On a close range, within a matter of seconds in delay, the katana would soon manifest itself into one big boom, a powerful blast that was enough to make the path shake before its very blade, its blast was soaring under a terrifying power when he surged an amount of spiritual energy, not much but together with the structure of the blade that formed the katana, he was able to manifest some of the black lightning's energy and construct it to an offensive blast, not to mention to have it fired up close to the Quincy's direction, hopefully, to give her what she really needs: a scratch.

Of course, everything comes with a price, that upon firing the blast, the recoil pushed him further away, his teeth grinding against each other as if they were mortal enemies as blood began to flow from his bare fangs, the area that Nozomi once rammed had worsened, with dark patches and the pain continued its way climbing up in effects. It would not be long before his physical structure won't last but he won't be going down so easily. His style, his way, fight and brunt, time to crush the quincy. The remains of the blades was slowly fading away after its use, only to realise during the moments of fading, his right arm, that held the structure of the katana was bleeding rather severely, with a large wound mark across the arm that would've crippled an average man's arm if they were to suffer this much, but to Sou's case, this was just a wound he suffers from everyday, and it was not much of a loss for him as well.

Cracking up more of the assault, it was time for the true pain in the nutcrackers of the world. Just like a machete cutting up a coconut apart? Not likely. More like spears of lightning that had its great time in striking down its victims, it was time for the finale. With a small black orb that began to compress before his knuckles, his hands were already in a form of a fist, pointing at Nozomi if she was still standing and alive, and if she were to move, she would bet that he would shift his aim, making a quick calculation of predicted positions to make sure his aim was accurate enough to land a 'scratch' on her. Chuckling with a large grin onto his face, darkness endowned before his face with only his pair of glowing red eyes shone through the darkness as the pressure only grew stronger when the orb was compressing at an accelerating speed before his bare knuckles, only to prepare for the worst, and that's a new version of his own blast; a nickname of 'Headshot'. Given to his own tier, together with his pair of wings and his own chi energy, using a majority of it would produce a small black orb with an extremely dense pressure that creates an utmostly powerful wind that collects itself into one area where the orb resides, and that, in its compressed state, it has the firepower that stands on par with the likes of Cero Oscuras. It was nevertheless an easy feat for himself. With tuned frequency and a small inducement of vibration using the air particles around them, he was able to allow it to have a little more firepower than a normal Cero Oscuras fired by an Espada within a possible range of a 5th Espada according to his calculations, though not as powerful as it seems, it was enough to wipe out whatever that stands in his way.

"SURPRISE, MOTHERFUCKER!"

Making one frontal punch against the orb, it unleashes a roaring blast, and during that process, it was visible enough before a bright light make a quick bright flash brighter than the sun itself can bestow on the lands, his arm was simply wiped out.. to nothing. No existence left to his right arm, it was wiped out merely by the 'recoil' of that blast he had created solely from a compressed orb, and creating a blast that roared so strong with darkness that it seemed as if the entire surroundings within and across Nozomi would be consumed by the ever-expanding void, surged with electricity, this was the 'headshot' he had named it, pure destruction in vain with his own sanity, that he was never sane from the beginning to fight the Demon Queen. Knowing that he would be going there in an injured state, it takes days, weeks or even months to get to New York before he even knew it, and at that point, he can take his time to rest and heal himself on the way. This isn't the place where he should die, THAT is the place he should die, the place where he would soon fight the Queen of Demons, the ruler of America, the one who currently leads Shadowfall together with a few more individuals he had not met yet, but he knew they are his soon-to-be enemies, and certainly, won't a satisfactory one.

It was shuttering enough to make the path crumble, shaking the earth before leaving some discharges of electricity and a broken path that once shattered apart by a blast. An utter destruction, with the sands and dusts that cleared the battlefield's view by the wind, all was there left standing was a standing figure, a missing right arm with a body that was almost under an almost broken state with his bare red eyes still staring at the depths of the battlefield. His wings were still running strong, at its utmost shape only with a somewhat-severely injured body. Coughing out quite a volume of blood, this was a feat that he never had done for quite some time, giving him some hectic pain to his chest and lost quite an amount of spiritual energy for how hard he has thrown at the likes of Quincy. This fight was going real hard in its own style, but this isn't keeping the Nightmare down so easily. This was just the beginning, and it'll take more than just nuclear bombs, supernovas and flames of the sun to make sure he was down once and for all. Now then, let's see what the so-called 'Quincy' has to do here.
