Song: The Final Blow --- By: aKu --- Word Count: 563
The middle of nowhere. A desolate landscape that extended for several miles, the picture of a dry-cracked ground like a desert coming to mind, except with hollows scouring the area endlessly; space seemed to split. From it walked out Kururai, stepping forward and dropping no more than a foot before landing on the dust-clouded ground. Immediately behind him was the closing of the portal into the Nether, returning space to what it had been before.
"Uhh.. This isn't Hueco Mundo." Words came forth from Kururai's mouth, directed towards the voice which soon echoed throughout his head in a flat tone. "You are in what seems to be what's referred to as 'The Wastelands'. It's similar to Hueco Mundo, in that, for its majority, the area is barren, relatively secluded, and crawling with Hollows." Kururai scoffed a bit, smirking an annoyed retort, "Heh, just like home--but, in other words, not the right place. Great job."
A brief pause ensued, no more than a two seconds, before the Nether once again echoed throughout Kururai's head in a flat, apathetic tone. "You used your own skills to rip into Hueco Mundo. You are the one who got yourself here." Clicking his tongue, he jerked his head back, supposedly signifying a displeased reaction; in the end, Kururai confirmed it saying, "Tch. Don't patronize me." "I don't believe that was patrona-" "You know what, let's just move on." In a bit of a grumpy manner, Kururai ceased the conversation and redirected both his own and the Nether's attention to the surroundings, looking around and finding plenty more than just a hollow or two. Rather, at least a few dozen.
"So. This is what you said I needed to do? This is how to grow?" Answering Kururai's question in a timely manner, the usual apathetic tone accompanied his information. "Yes. In order for you to grow stronger and evolve, you must eat other hollows; also, no, I do not know if they taste any good, and taking you in does not qualify as 'eating a hollow'." Kururai exhaled in excitement, expecting the Nether to have anticipated the question on how hollows tasted. Instead of getting ready to ask such a follow-up question, he was instead focused on who to target first. Which hollow should I take out first? The one over there, about fourteen metres away? Maybe the hollow to the left? Twenty-three meteres from me? Kururai had actually moved his fingers to his chin, pondering what action to take.
A few seconds passed before the Nether would input his opinion. "Perhaps you should-" "Don't worry, Nether. I already have an idea on what you might suggest." Following his interrupting reply, Kururai had channeled dimensional energy into his right arm, a longsword of pure energy forming in his hand. "Why take it one at a time, right?" Without much reserve, Kururai let out a large blast of dimensional energy blow out from him, its harmless reach extending out a few hundred feet outward. All at once, the hollows in the vicinity had stopped whatever it was they were doing, their masks fixated on him. His cheek flexed, forcing his lips to spread across his face revealing a devilish smile; Kururai's eyes squinted, sparking brightly in a crazed manner. These soft pink lips of his had opened, revealing sparkling teeth encompassed by a wide, desiring grin.
There was a silence looming over the area. Everything was kept still, surprisingly. Nothing seemed to budge--even the air and reishi which flowed failed to document any movement or do so itself.
Movement could be sensed from all directions in one sudden burst. North, Northwest, South, Southeast--various hollows charged in Kururai's direction, their excited reaction unexpected, but easily dealt with. Sure, his reaction seemed to lag a bit later than usual, but not by much of a margin. A VERY brief moment was taken as he simply stood still, closing his eyes and focusing on the energy signatures and displacements in heavy reishi consuming every corner of space nearby.
Four nearest to me, one Northwest, one Southeast, two from the West. The nearest to me are in order, the two from the west, the one from the Northwest, and the other from the Southeast. "Heh. Let's get to work then!" Excited to be sprung into combat, Kururai pivoted in the balls of his feet before lunging himself towards the two hollows from the west, the closet ones to him.
The one on the left seemed to be shaped like a snake, slithering across the dry cracked ground in a blazing speed, but nothing Kururai couldn't surpass. The one on the right was a different story. It was bulky strong-seeming, its reiatsu much larger than the one to its right. Seemingly low-level, Kururai reacted without much reserve in his actions, two precise movements set in place to take down these creatures.
In a blaring speed, covering the distance between the three of them in an instant, Kururai appeared before the both of them, taking the low-ground and shrinking his volume to a near kneeling position. Raising his chin, he looked at the two monsters, whose eyes had barely followed his movements, the glow in their masks--which seemed to represent their pupils--fixated on him. The blade comprised of energy in his hand was grasped tightly, as it swung from behind him and into the abdomen of the bulky hollow on his right in a slashing motion. The snake-hollow seemed to react far quicker than his obese acquaintance, darting its sharp mask towards Kururai.
A half-smirk painted the right side of his cheek, as the energy sword immediately stopped right before the abdomen of Hollow Santa was actually cut. Instead, he swung around in a rotational motion, rolling along the foot in the back, pivoting out of the darting snake. It would seem as though Kururai had anticipated its movements before making them, the slight disposition of reishi in the air displaying the muscular movement of its neck, hinting a move to soon be made.
In a flow which seemed to connect these smooth movements as if they were one move altogether, Kururai had avoided the lunging snake's head, its neck--or perhaps, upperbody?--completely exposed and vunerable; and Kururai wasn't one to miss an opportunity. Without hesitation, the sword was swung down, severing the snake into two parts. The only variable left from this little fiasco was the larger hollow, which didn't seem to amass to much of a problem, based on what Kururai could tell. It was a rather easy accomplishment to rid himself of the trouble. The energy sword left his hand rather quickly, as it was thrown towards the remaining beast, piercing its mask--and head--in a swift movement.
"Real fights are easier than I expected..." Kururai's said, an arrogant tone making his words seem that more noticeable--enough so that the Nether would formed its own input, "Take care to not be too confident. That might be your downfall." Ignoring these words, Kururai took a moment, ignoring the other hollows coming at him from behind. Instead, he pondered the thought of eating these beasts now, or storing them for after the battle would subside. "Mmmmm.... nah. I should get to them later."
With his mind decided, he turned around to face the next several targets, as the two deceased hollows behind him were drawn into a ripped portion of space leading into the Nether. Following this action was its abrupt close, as well as the forming of another energy-sword in Kururai's hand.
Cracking his neck, bending it side-to-side, Kururai shook his body, preparing himself for the next few engagements. "Well then! Let's go catch us some hollows!"

From the shadows watched two individuals in complete silence. They had been drawn to this show by the bursts of power being recklessly given off in this area. They could understand the necessity of using your power to clear out hollow, but to do so in the wastelands with no clue of who could be lurking around the next corner, well that was just plain risky, hell it was borderline cocky. One of the boys was hard to see; he was dressed in all black, a suit jacket that reached past his legs, slacks, black shoes, and a black tie. The only color came from his white undershirt and the red iris in his right eye. The other boy was bright as a light; this one was wearing all white, white suit jacket with long coat tails, slacks, white shoes, and a white tank. His splash of color came from a black pocket on his suit and a yellow iris in his left eye.
After watching the other kill off a few of the hollows and congratulate himself on how easy a real fight was, the boy in black smirked and let out a small laugh. The one in white smacked his cohort and told him to shush. He wasn't too keen in on jumping in so early, he wanted to wait it out, see what this other person was able to do. Shrugging his shoulders and telling his friend to cool it, the one in black stepped out of the shadows and started clapping.
"Well, well, well, aren't you just a professional hollow slayer." In the light you could see that his hair was as dark as his clothes and his left eye was nothing but a hole. Surrounding that hole were three scars straight down as if formed by an animals claws. However instead of being skin deep they were raised and made of a bone like material, a hollow mask. Underneath his suit jacket you could see the hilt of a blade sticking up out of the top. From the other side the one in white stepped out facing the other hollows in the area.
In the light you could see that this boy had hair whiter than the sands they stood on. His right eye was also a hole with an identical hollow mask. This one glared at the hollows and a deep guttural growl started to build up. The hollows backed off slightly and observed the situation slowly, taking in the fact that they now might have to fight all three of them. Behind the white one's suit was the hilt of a blade as well. Turning slightly so that his face was now showing to the fighter it would be quite apparent that both the one in white and the one in black had identical faces except for the mirrored eyes. Twins stood before the fighter.
"What my brother Tristan is colorfully trying to say is, these hollows hardly constitute a real fight. You're good, but well, how good are you really?" The one in white said with a cold calm, a hint of danger in his voice. "Do you always have to be so rude Chris, perhaps I wanted to have some fun with this one before we got down to the messy parts." Tristan said with that perpetual smile. He might have looked all happy and cheerful, but there was something challenging in his stance, in the way he talked to the fighter.
"Rude? No, merely cautious. This fighter is killing our kin. I admit the hollows are not exactly the most agreeable at times, but to be actively hunting them? Well that could mean he's an enemy." Chris said, his cold gaze still trained on the fighter. "Maybe he'd be more friend to us if we gave him a chance to talk and introduce ourselves hmm? I am Tristan and he is Chris. We are Gemelos, and we are arrancar. And you are? Name, friend, foe? Chris would like to know before he decides to kill you." Tristan laughed as he said this. Clearly this twin didn't understand what things people viewed as humorous. One with a smile, one with a glare, the two twins Chris and Tristan Gemelos awaited an answer from their new acquaintance.

Miles away from the conflict if one were to gaze upon the ground for a few moments they may be lucky to spot the fading footsteps of a single person. If one were to track the faded steps upon the desert floor they would find that they were steadily headed off into the horizon before fading completely. These footprints belonged to a single man, Horus Sariel, whom had felt several clashing presences in the distance ahead. Even at the distance he was the crimson haired Vizard could feel the presence of several Hollow's, almost as if they had found something to fight among themselves for. Finally it seemed like the male would have something to do, admittedly the time since the War for Australia had been quite boring. Yet Horus knew his boredom was his own doing, after-all he had chosen to drift out of contact with the Kokuryuteshi despite knowing he may face unknown consequences upon contacting them again. And so the Lieutenant Commander of the Jade Cross made his way towards the horizon, his footprints fading as the sands of the desert washed over them.
Several minutes later a small kick-up of dust roughly 400 yards from Kururai's location would tell of Horus's arrival at the conflict between several Hollow's. Upon arriving it was simple for the golden eyed male to tell that the gathering mass of Hollow's were fighting against what appeared to be a human male, though the energy coming from the male felt off somehow. Horus's gaze would follow the male as he engaged the hollow's, swiftly dealing precise and deadly blows to each that was engaged. Gaze still upon the ongoing combat Horus watched as the male launched his weapon towards the remaining hollow, swiftly piercing its skull. After that moment things appeared to become more interesting as several more hollow presented themselves for battle. In those moments the young male would have recreated the weapon he had just used to impale a hollow, thus telling Horus that the male was able to create the weapon whenever needed, and possibly in high numbers.. He would certainly need to be cautious of that if he were to enter the conflict himself.
At this point it quickly became evident that Horus wasn't the only one drawn to the conflict that had arisen between the hollows and the male. Not far off from where Horus had been watching everything occur another being stepped forth from the shadows. Seemingly male the being appeared to be clothed with a preference for black, and his hair was just as dark to match. Upon noticing the hole that made up the males left eye, along with the mask fragment around the hole, Horus knew just what he would be dealing with.. Arrancar.. Then another male stepped forth, this one appearing to be opposite of the one he accompanied. The second Arrancar possessed an identical mask fragment, as well as white hair. Upon a growl emitting from the second Arrancar the Hollow's that had gathered promptly backed off. Interest having been peaked the crimson haired Vizard began walking towards the gathering group, his steps slow and deliberate, as if giving the others the chance to pick up on his presence if they hadn't already.
Walking directly towards the group that had gathered his interest Horus watched as the two Arrancar spoke, it seemed the young male had also garnered their interest. Though there would be no way for Horus to know for sure until he was close enough to hear what was being said. Yet it mattered not, for before him stood the cure to the agonizing boredom he had felt since the conclusion of the War for Australia. Despite being given a new purpose during the War the male knew not what to do with himself. And so here he was, ready to sate the burning desire to do something. Footstep would grow closer to the group, each footfall growing slightly louder than the one before it as slowly the golden eyed male allowed his reiatsu to flow freely, allowing it to wash over the area carrying with it malicious intent. Even before entering combat it seemed Horus had made up his mind.. Shinku Nikuya was coming out to play!!

Song: Signs - By: Namaste ft. Tiana Khasi - Word Count: 1243
Combating the hollows was one thing, but the three other people near him might've been a different story. With Kururai's acute sensing, the only thing that wouldn't be apparent to him was nonexistent objects--it'd be easy enough to passively sense their movements; in the case of their energy signatures, it might've been a bit easier. All three of the ones that popped up on his metaphorical 'radar', even if they had gone to great lengths to suppress their energy output to near-zero, would have been picked up, and it would have been made apparent either way that two arrancar and a vizard were nearby. Of course, considering Kururai practically completely ignored such bad flags and continued on to be focused on the task of slaying the hollows--failing to be bothered was simply what one could hope. That obviously wouldn't be the case, this time.
After Kururai spoke on how easy he felt it was to be in a real fight, a laugh was clearly heard, even straight from his ears rather than translating the simple vibrations through the air. Ugh... You could've just kept quiet and continued watching, you know? Kururai turned his body around in annoying jut and faced the two Arrancar, now approaching him from out of the shadows--wherever those shadows were in such a sun-basked barren wasteland--the 'amused' one offering an applause. UUGGHHHH. Clearly, Kururai really wasn't in the mood to do some 'talking'; he'd much rather go back to his training and slay a few more hollows--unfortunately, that didn't seem to be an option at the moment.
"Well, well, well, aren't you just a professional hollow slayer." The snide comment was verily unappreciated, but the rolling of eye would only occur within Kururai's mind. Showing very apparent satisfaction in a conversation where combat wasn't happening would just be seen as 'rude', in most cases. Though the situation most likely would've forgiven rude, it also wouldn't mind some.
In a feminine bow--his left leg tucking under his right while his right knee bent forward--Kururai's upper body descended and his head curled inward. If he had a skirt on, he might've even grabbed two points on it and held it in place as he bowed. "Thanks for the compliment," he said as his body raised to a standing position once more.
"What my brother Tristan is colorfully trying to say is, these hollows hardly constitute a real fight. You're good, but well, how good are you really?" The other arrancar spoke, looking like a polar opposite to his 'brother'--color-wise, at least. While this one spoke in somewhat of a more honest approach, it was just as under-appreciated as 'Tristan's'. In reply to his brother's question, Tristan would speak again, words slipping from his sly smile, a joyful aura that seemed amiss running rampant,"Do you always have to be so rude Chris, perhaps I wanted to have some fun with this one before we got down to the messy parts." Pfft. Real hypocritical of you, mate. Clearly, Kururai liked Tristan far less than the paler brother, but he didn't 'like' either of them at all--for just reasons, he'd like to think.
"Rude? No, merely cautious. This fighter is killing our kin. I admit the hollows are not exactly the most agreeable at times, but to be actively hunting them? Well that could mean he's an enemy." This time, Kururai could help but roll his eyes around in his head. This seemed to be a ridiculous conversation, and in his mind, the two brothers were speaking out of their ass. Though, their assumption of Kururai killing their 'kin' and possibly seeing him as a threat is with good reason, its also likely due to the fact that they wouldn't possibly be able to discern just who--or what--Kururai was sheerly through sight or any other sense. If anything, they'd probably assume he was a human--the most likely of the bunch of possible races he could be. Either way, Kururai was getting pretty annoyed in the discussion at hand.
"Maybe he'd be more friend to us if we gave him a chance to talk and introduce ourselves hmm? I am Tristan and he is Chris. We are Gemelos, and we are arrancar. And you are? Name, friend, foe? Chris would like to know before he decides to kill you." Hearing their last verbal words, he got a tad fed up with the conversation at hand, only to disappear out of sight in an instant. Dimensional Energy gathered at his feet suddenly, and bursting it out from his feet, Kururai launched himself in a speed surpassing eyesight, stopping himself right before one of the hollows who had backed up in the presence of the two arrancar. His hand cupped the hollow's mask, and without warning, Kururai gripped the mask tightly and leaned back, forcefully ripping off the mask and tossing it to Tristan and Chris's feet, burn marks left where his hands had been placed. The burn marks weren't ordinary, however--in fact, they might've been familiar to the Gemelos twins, as the burns were a result of an acid-skill only hollows could possess; essentially, Kururai had just told the two exactly what he was.
Not yet aware of what they would say, the vizard energy signature Kururai once felt came out without restriction, reiatsu flowing from his location without holding back. An amateur could feel the malicious intent weaved into the outpouring energy, and it was quite certainly vaster than what Kururai or the other two twins would have--possibly combined. It was an unsettling entrance of a newcomer to what had been going on at hand--yet, Kururai simply saw it as a bigger game, waiting to be slayed--that is, if it hand held true to its malicious intent and done something a bit more than 'talk'.
"Isn't it a bit ridiculous to have audible footsteps in such a place?" Kururai commented on the vizard's extravagant entry to the scene, his arms folded in and crossed while an eyebrow was raised. Normally, someone might've scanned the newcomer, as he'd definitely be one to stay weary of--in Kururai's case, all he needed to do was focus on the energy signature and surrounding spiritual energy in the air--that was sufficient enough to even grasp the muscular layout of all three beings before him. Sighing, Kururai whispered under his breath and a joking manner, his left hand brushing over the back of his head and scratching. "Seems like fate brought us together--perhaps from that bit of hollow all of us have." While these words were nearly inaudible to anyone more than a few feet away, his next set of words were far louder, "Hey, vizard. If you're spewing around that reiatsu with some malice, I'm assuming you're intent on fighting someone--if so, least you could do is get rid of the--" Interrupting his own speech, Kururai rolled on the back of his heels, performing an about face while simultaneously pumping Dimensional Energy out through his palms. The resulting action? From his hands would have launched 6 precisely thrown swords, all gliding through the air towards different directions. Their line of motion would land them directly through the masks of six more hollows, all as weak as the last few.
Turning back around to face the approaching vizard, Kururai pushed his hands into the pants' pockets and raised his shoulders inward, a wide smile coating cheek to cheek in such a manner that one might expect sharpened teeth to be flashed through his pink lips. "--get rid of background noise?"

The twins stood and watched as the fighter, who rudely still hadn't introduced himself, performed some flashy tricks. Both of them turned to look at the other and an inner dialogue begin firing between their minds. It was a useful trick the two of them had, having both once been of one mind it was easy for them to pass information and thought between them as if the minds they had were still only one. It was a tactic the often used in order to hold private conversations and to always know how the other one was fairing in battle. What passed between them now was an observation of what they had just seen.
Chris: This one is far more interesting than he looks brother. There is something off-putting about him that I can't quite put my finger one. That trick he does to dash around the field, it is unlike anything I've seen. Yet that technique he used to remove the hollow mask is reminiscent of things I've seen other hollows and arrancar do. Quite the interesting person you've found me.
Tristan: Oh no need to thank me! If it's as fun for you as it is for me than I feel like we've both one. Also do you feel that, it's so...so...gaudy. Who releases their energy in such a flashy manner. He thought. Visually both the twins could be smiling as if an inside joke, which it literally was, passed unnoticed. The looked at the third presence that had made himself known and their smiles dropped. It looked as if both of them had tasted something unpleasant. Turning back to each other they both thought at the same time; Filthy Half-breed.
Ending their inner dialogue, the twins turned their attention back on the odd assortment of hollow like presences. Arrancar, Vizard, Hollow, and Mystery Meat. It was like a bad family reunion with cousins you'd never met before. Tristan, who was now apparently made spokesperson of the twins, probably because he was the nicer of the two, readdressed the fighter.
"I assume that was some show to make it clear that you had some hollow powers in you, if you wanted I could always put a bit more hollow into you." He said with a wink and a sultry lick of the lips. Before he was even allowed to continue Chris jumped in and actually picked up the conversation like he should have in the first place.
"What we MEAN to say, is that we get that you're some kind of hollow like presence. I would still advice against the random slaughter of lesser beings, it kind of gives you a taste for them, and after you start eating them? Well, let's just say I used to be of one solid mind before I was driven insane by the lustful hunger of eating other hollows. But hey to each there own right?" It was a loosely veiled warning by Chris. It was one he always gave to other arrancar who liked killing their own kind. It just wasn't healthy he thought. Even if this kid wasn't one of them, if he killed all the lesser hollows, what would he have to eat? Chris may give out the warning, it doesn't always mean he followed it.
Piping back up Tristan addressed everyone this time, "And you never gave us you're name after we so kindly gave you ours! AND YOU! What's wrong with you letting out your pressure so wildly, that's reckless and just plain rude. But in case you missed the intro, we're Tristan and Chris Gemelos, the twin Arrancar! Who the hell are you half bre... I mean Vizard scu..., I mean person?"

In the moment before Horus would unleash the restraint upon his reiatsu crazed golden orbs would remain locked upon the pair of Arrancar and the other male, thus causing him to witness something he wouldn't have if his gaze had shifted elsewhere. Despite not yet being close enough to hear what had been spoken, the Vizard was definitely close enough to keep track of what had happened despite Kururai's apparent speed. Golden eyes would harden in an instant as the Vizard witnessed the effect of Kururai's touch upon the Hollow he had closed in on. In the moment the male had taken to tear the mask from its owners face and toss it at the feet of the Arrancar pair, Horus had gained his answer. As his approach continued his gaze was able to pick up the burn marks left upon the Hollow's mask by the young male, something he knew could have only been done by another Hollow, or someone with an ability similar to their acidic touch.
Continuing on his path the Vizard finally let loose his restrained reiatsu, and with it a malicious aura that would smother the entire area. In that moment the Hollow's that had remained began making up their minds, some being smarter and leaving the area completely whilst others decided to linger thinking they could somehow gain something out of remaining. As footfalls would continue the golden gaze that belonged to Horus would continue to switch between the Arrancar pair, and the hollow-human, with each flicker between them Horus's gaze would grow more intense as his reiatsu continued to flow freely about his form before abruptly vanishing. In that very moment a decision had been made.. A decision to no longer hold himself back.. It was time for Shinku Nikuya to reveal himself once again.
"Isn't it a bit ridiculous to have audible footsteps in such a place?" The Hollow-human questioned as Horus's approach ended, bringing him a mere few meters from the group. Though the male did have a point, forcing his footsteps to be heard despite what had been going on was quite ridiculous, not that Horus himself cared. In fact at this point he didn't care about anything that could, or would be said. All that was on the Vziard's mind now was cutting loose, and curing his boredom before making his way towards one of K-world's many bases. "Hey, vizard. If you're spewing around that reiatsu with some malice, I'm assuming you're intent on fighting someone--if so, least you could do is get rid of the--" As soon as the male had begun speaking Horus's attention had flickered back to him only to watch as he cut himself off before launching an attack upon the remaining Hollow. As the male turned to face off against the Hollow's Horus could feel an odd energy flowing about the male before six blades found themselves upon a course that would lead them into the skulls of six different Hollow, slaying them in an instant. Upon slaying the weaker Hollows the male turned back towards Horus, finishing what he had been saying previously, "--get rid of background noise?" To which Horus responded with a simple chuckle that was accompanied by his gaze hardening and becoming more focused than it already had been.
Yet once again Horus's gaze would be called elsewhere as the pair of Arrancar spoke, the darker of the two momentarily focusing upon Horus whilst telling him of how reckless and rude it had been to unleash his reiatsu in the way he had. Now if the Arrancar had halted there everything could have progressed fine, and just maybe everyone would have been able to simply walk away. But the Arrancar's next words, despite introducing himself and his twin, had sealed the deal. Despite never having been called a half breed before the Vizard wasn't going to let it slide the first time. The only warning the pair of Arrancar would get as to Horus's annoyance, and growing irritation would be the Vizard's reiatsu unleashing once again, albeit with much more force this time around. In-fact the unrestrained rush of Horus's reiatsu would be enough to not only kick up dirt and stones, but it would also begin forming an ever expanding crater at the crimson haired male's feet.
As black and red reiatsu continued to roar about the form of Horus a ghost of a whisper would escape said roaring inferno of reiatsu. "...Tristan and Chris huh? Unfortunately you've made a terrible choice of words just now..." As suddenly as his reiatsu had roared back into existence it would vanish once again, leaving Horus standing in the middle of a six foot wide crater whilst debris fell to the ground all around him. The vanishing reiatsu would reveal Horus to be holding a pair of tanto, with blade lengths of twelve inches. Scraping one blade of his Zanpakutō against the other the Vizard allowed himself a light chuckle as he broke out into a malicious grin. "How rude of myself.. Here I am ready to fight, yet I haven't even told you all my name.." As he spoke the Vizard once again allowed his reiatsu to wash over the area, albeit keeping it under control this time around. "You all may call me Shinku Nikuya for now. Treat me to a good fight and just maybe I'll tell you my name.." Having finally introduced himself Horus locked his gaze upon the twins and the other male, his golden orbs alight with insanity and blood-lust.

So sorry guys. I'm afraid I'll have to pull out of this thread. To be honest, I really am trying. Every other day I'd look at this thread and try to get something out, but my brain just responds in farts every time. It's been almost a week since Horus posted, and with school starting, that has only served to increase the depth of the blanks I'm drawing. If I can make it up to you guys in any way, let me know. Either way, I'll have to end Kururai's participation here. Feel free to RP between the two of you, and I hope we can get another good thread going in the future.

In a sudden burst of energy that looked quite like the style the boy Kurarai appeared in, he vanished. It was rather unclear as to what had happened to him, be it he just left of his own accord or something drew him away, regardless what was clear was that this Shinku fella was now left alone with the twins.
"Well that's better, I was beginning to feel like it would be an unfair two vs one type of situation. But with that convenient exit it leaves just a simple one on one, just the way I like it." Tristan commented, clearly unaware that he and his twin constituted two people. But then again if you knew anything about the two, you would know that they very rarely ever considered themselves of separate mind and body. Chris and Tristan moved at the same time slowly in a converging path until both of them had stopped a short distance in front of Shinku together.
"You wish to have a battle, and you deign to think this would be some sort of treat for you? Well, I'd be happy to oblige, I'd be down for some other indulgences if you were up for it?" Tristan continued. However with the way he looked at the Vizard it was hard to tell if he meant some greater sexual innuendo or something far more violent. Then again, knowing Tristan, it was probably some sick combination of the two. Chris on the other hand remained silent. He could tell a fight was going to break out in the next few minutes, and Chris almost never spoke during battle. He stayed locked away in his own mind, sharing only thoughts of the fight with Tristan. Chris was content letting his brother be his voice, and Tristan was fine with his brother being the unbridled rage that would lead them to inevitable victory. It's just how it would go.
In an eerie unison both brothers drew their blade, energy exploding around them as they let go of their inhibitions. Their swords were hook blades each identical to the other. As power radiated around them they looked at this Shinku on final time. They wouldn't make the first move, they never did, for it always amused them how people reacted to fighting two bodies at the same time. It could be managed, fighting two individuals, but Chris and Tristan weren't individual, they were singular. How do you fight a single mind that can do two things at once?

Eagerness, and agitation, these were the two main things felt by Horus as he stood with his attention upon his three opponents. Eagerness due to finally having the opportunity to let loose after remaining silent for as long as he had after the war. Agitation because he was still waiting on his foe's to make some sort of move. Unknown to the crimson haired male his agitation was about to raise even more as his reiatsu washed over the area a third time. As the malicious aura would continue spreading it would drive off a large number of Hollow's whilst those that were braver, and could withstand the pressure created by Horus's reiatsu, would continue forth in hopes of devouring a powerful meal. While his focus was briefly upon the twins the other foe, the younger male, would take his chance to leave the battlefield through the use of the odd energy Horus had been feeling from him. This would leave the increasingly agitated Vizard alone with the twin Arrancar, causing a potential free-for-all to become a two on one battle.
With the third male taking his leave the darker of the two Arrancar chose to speak up, seemingly happy about the change in the battle. Amusingly enough to Horus the Arrancar seemed to feel as though the battle was going to be a two on one situation, which didn't make much sense to the male as there had been four of them present. Now though, as the Arrancar continued to speak of the battle becoming a one on one, things began to make some sense. It seemed that the pair of Arrancar before him shared some sort of bond that caused at least one of them to believe that they were one being. This was further proved when the two began walking forward in complete unison without sharing a word, their steps bringing them a short distance before himself as he continued his thoughts on the matter. Even as the twins moved forth it seemed that Tristan was yet to finish blabbering on, speaking in a way that almost seemed mocking of Horus's wish for a fight. While the Arrancar spoke it was evident that Horus was becoming increasingly agitated as a low snarl began to emanate from the Vizard's throat.
Finally as Tristan ceased his chatter the twins made a move, albeit one that showed they planned to await on Horus to make the first move in the fight. With the same eerie unison that they had approached him with the twins drew their blades, as their own reiatsu let loose around them managing to push back Horus's own expanding presence slightly. This only served to amuse the Vizard as his blood-lust began to stir whilst he simply released any hold he had upon his reiatsu. Doing so caused two things to happen in unison with one another, first the malicious aura already spreading throughout the wastelands from their point would increase several times over, causing the immediate area to drown in the ever growing blood-lust within the Vizard. The second reaction of the further release of Horus's reiatsu was a sudden increase in physical pressure. To those weaker than himself it would feel as if more and more weight continued to bear down upon them. For those that were significantly weaker, such as the Hollow's that roamed the area, the increase in reiatsu would either drive them off, or cause them to fall beneath it before meeting the ground up-close and personal.
Yet Horus wasn't done yet. As his gaze locked upon the twins and hardened reiatsu would converge upon his sealed Zanpakutō rapidly. In doing so the reiatsu would form around the pair of tanto, extending the reach of their blades, and thus Horus's attacks by roughly six inches. Even still the Crimson Butcher wasn't finished, as a hollow laughter would begin to resound throughout the expanse of the wasteland a single, tanto holding hand would reach towards his face before ripping from his forehead towards his chin. Following the trail of his hand one could see black and red reiatsu gathering before becoming solid, taking the form of a mask. The mask held an eerie look to it created by it's odd cross between a goat-like appearance, and it's slightly draconic visage. As the mask came into completion the hollow laughter from Horus picked up, becoming increasingly louder as the masked Vizard let loose all inhibitions. No longer would he hold back. No longer would he reign himself in. No more silence. No more waiting. Consequences be damned!
Thus in the very same moment the mask had finished forming the battle had begun. While his laughter continued Horus raised his right hand, pointing a single finger in the twin's direction as black, red, and white reiatsu began to converge at the end of said finger. Without a single word the concentrated energy rushed forth as a deadly beam of destruction set on a course that would bring it crashing into the twins. At the current distance between himself and the twins Horus knew if his cero were to hit its mark it would be much more devastating than it would have been at a longer range. Still more was to come. Due to bringing forth his hollow mask the very properties of the reiatsu surrounding his blades had changed. While they still extended the range of his strikes the reiatsu coating them was now capable of infecting the foe, slowly eating away at their reiatsu thus progressively weakening them. Thus following up his cero the crimson haired male would launch himself forward in hopes of catching Tristan of guard with several strikes of his blade while he either recovered from, or dodged the cero. From there if his strikes were successful he would continue to rain strikes down upon Tristan until interrupted. If the previous strikes weren't successful the Vizard would rapidly form and launch yet another cero, this one aimed for the other twin. In either case once finished Horus would back off, utilizing a quick serious of shunpo's to create some distance between himself and the twins in order to see how they would respond.
