Kurai Hayabusa Name: The Hayabusa Shadow Alias: 500 Age: Five feet and Nine Inches Height: One hundred and sixty pounds Weight: Kurai is a young looking Shinigami with a youthful appearance, he seems to have a slender body build. But is evidently capable of things that his clan's members find frightening. By many Kurai is considered a monster merely for discovering the fighting forms naturally. Normally they are taught to people under slow order, making them grow over time. Kurai's body shows signs of it as the teenage body seems very fit. He's been taught to be a destroyer but his outlook seems very happy. Optimistic is the best way to describe the respectful teenager. An image had been included to provide an idea of his dress style often putting a hood in most of his outfits Physical Description: Physical Appearance: He's a teenager with a good heart, very pure and happy. He runs on smiles and seems to be very forward about things. He speaks his mind even if it gets him in trouble. He has a smile on his face most of the time, making sure to be as honest and kind as he can be. Kurai seems to be the type of boy who is a good kid. He will wield his power in the name of what he believes in, never faltering from his belief. It's not hard for him to keep his belief as they are, Kurai was a top student and well trained warrior of his clan. Everything he does has a purpose and it extremely well thought out. He's a cheerful and very thoughtful person. No matter how hard the task he'll do it, something about this Hayabusa stands out to most. He's willing to fight any darkness and battle anything with his sheer will. Despite keeping the cheerful smile and attitude about everything, he's got some serious grit. Cheerful: Kurai's got some serious determination, he won't surrender no matter how much he's knocked down. Kurai and his brother perhaps share this emotion and status. Naturally Kurai's the older of the two allowing him some talents in this. But he's been shown several times on missions and many events not being willing to back down to even the most powerful of enemies. Kurai's got the will to fight for days if need be. He's simply that much of a determined young man. Who will keep his eyes on his beliefs and fight for them with every single breath in his body. When ordered to do something Kurai doesn't question the order, no matter how ghastly it is to someone else. Kurai see's the world for what it is. Orders are simply things that must be followed out, he's seen what not following can do. Kurai also has faith in people something perhaps few others did. This is one thing that never changed from him, it's all a matter of the perspective from there. Determination can never be forgotten and Kurai has made his mark with his. Determined: Despite his nature of following orders no matter what. Kurai is a good kid and makes the best of the situation at hand. He will do things to the letter on the order, but does tend to do it his way afterwards. He's been given missions where he has to level a place, but Kurai than escorts the people out to safety. Giving them a warning before turning the place into nothing. He's known to do things for the best of the people he's leading. Kurai has a natural talent there as well. But being a good kid is among his personalities good traits. He does what's right in his mind over the orders sometimes. That's the only time he can defy them. Is if he feels the orders jeopardize his beliefs and only than does he raise his voice against them. Kurai's normally very calm and willing to stay out of things. But he's normally one of the few able to fight as he must. Kurai's skills at bringing down enemies despite being a child is above average. His very personalities can get to his enemies at times. Good Kid: Kurai is a natural leader without even trying. He's got many things others don't have without years. He's brave, filled with confidence in his actions. Despite only being a young Shinigami he's fought in battles and experienced many growths that others haven't. The Hayabusa Clan training has brought him into being a real leader. Kurai's skills as a leader come from many things, he's got a good head on his shoulder. Can make reasonable judgment on things relating to people's morale standing. He's made choices while on journeys and did things others couldn't. Among the many talents this young man has, every single one leads to his leadership skills. No matter how hard a choice is he can make it, putting the people around him first. He's fought battles he couldn't win for his friends. Kurai is in short someone who will dare anything and do whatever it takes to make the hearts around him bloom. Natural Leader: To say that Kurai is brave is an understatement. He will battle someone of greater power without hesitation for his friends. He will raise his weapon no matter their power. If the Soul King or someone as powerful is the person he is against so be it. He will take the courage needed and fight. Kurai has a certain nature about him that makes him to be something far greater than anyone could realize. His natural talents make him extremely hard to deal with personality wise. Kurai's been trained to be a perfect warrior since birth, he was trained for a purpose. It's hard to say what the purpose is, but his courage and valor are second to none. He is willing to battle the darkness and everything that exists for those around him. Those who cannot fight may place their faith in him and he will respond ten fold. He is perhaps the bravest Shinigami to come around in a long time. Kurai's personality is something alluring to all who have hope. Brave: Kurai loves his little brother dearly and does try to act like the older sibling. It's hard however for him to always be so stiff about things, his brother acts older than he does. Kurai is willing to trust Hikari's judgment on things many times. But won't even let his little brother shake his beliefs as he follows them so fiercely. The nature of brothers is hard to put money on, but to some degree Hikari is someone he can count on without fail. It's beyond anything anyone can consider fact. Kurai is known to be perhaps one of the strongest of his clan. One of few to master the Sixth Forbidden form naturally, it's not something people generally can do. This sometimes perhaps makes a distance between these two, Kurai does his best to reach his brother. It's something of a bond that these two have, no matter where it is. Kurai's brother is important to him and a rock that keeps him connected to this world in some ways. Hikari Hayabusa: Tsubasa Unabara is a man who has a lack of hope in Kurai's mind. He wants to prove Tsubasa wrong on many things, show him that hope exists. That the power of a heart can outweigh anything in this world. He's determined to do it, ever since meeting Tsubasa within the Zero Division. Kurai claims that Tsubasa is powerful but lost in a darkness. He thinks maybe he can unlock the way to the male's freedom and destiny. But that's perhaps harder than it looks, Kurai tries his best to do what he considers best. But Tsubasa just seems like someone lost to him. He tries his best to find ways of bringing the man from darkness. Tsubasa and Kurai are amazingly similar Kurai claims. They are both trained warriors, designed to bring about death and destruction on battlefields. But the problem is Tsubasa isn't seeing past it, that sometimes to bring Hope upon the people that is needed. Kurai's nature seems to brighten somethings and cause stirs in many. Tsubasa Unabara: Kurai's father and he have a very odd relationship. His father is much like Kurai, someone who keeps a very determined mind set. His beliefs are his rock, so you'd think these two get along well. Not exactly, they are extremely competitive in all things they do. It's as though the father and son cannot exist without friendly little games. Races and things like that are almost a constant between them. Kurai proudly claims to be above his father currently in the score out of 1000 games they've played. The father is getting close, this relationship perhaps is what gave the amazing Kurai his drive. He seems extremely set on things in a way that others couldn't be. Most people would expect parents to be far more grounded. But his father seems to be the exact opposite of what people would normally expect. The mother is grounded and sometimes very calm, the father is rash and loves to be outspoken. This nature has raised two very good sons and built good relations between Kurai and his father. Father: She is grounded and very level headed. The woman seems capable of staying calm under any circumstances. She raised two boys and seems completely sane afterwards. She's extremely capable of keeping the father under control. It seems to Kurai that Hikari takes after their mother more. He always seemed to notice it, it was pretty obvious. Competitive drive came from the father along with rash choices. Kurai got both of these in spades, his brother seemed more tame at times. Mother always had a warm nature but always was so calm. Kurai never could read her and tried his best o have a good relationship with her. Though the two are distant since he mastered the Sixth Form of his clan's fighting style. Kurai's fighting skills are extremely sharp, despite coming from a clan cut off from Shinigami kind. It's extremely hard to consider them anything but that. His mother's guidance helped him master a form he struggled with. Mother: Kurai's relationships within his clan are hit and miss. Some people like him, while others simply respect him. It's hard to say what the general view is on the boy who mastered the Darkness Form is. But Kurai has everyone's respect for the fact is he's fought everything for them. Kurai has protected his family faithfully and still kept his outlook, this is simply the way he's always been. Kurai's rather uncertain about his family sometimes. This is where he and Tsubasa differ, Kurai would not want his family to shed a single drop of blood. Kurai would rather bear that on himself. He would rather carry the cross for his family alone, but this personality has made him popular. Some believe he will lead the clan next. Kurai is extremely popular specially among the clan's younger children. All things considered his power is enough that the boy has earned himself a nice reputation as a warrior with a kind heart. Kurai simply honors his family as best he can no matter the circumstances. Hayabusa Clan: His power comes partly from the special forms his clan practices, these martial based forms allow great use of power for those learning them. These forms allow great amounts of power and use within the skill sets. What makes them effective is the change of how the reiatsu and power is used. That is the effective form of using the Hayabusa fighting styles. Six Forms exist in total, the Sixth being a forbidden form due to it's nature. However Kurai was able to master it naturally without much trouble. This has caused a stir in his family, of course much exists that is unknown about it. The Forms give the user increases in things. Generally making them better in the function of each form's power. Each form has a structure and discipline in which it exercises some control in that area. The key to success lay in mastering the forms of the Hayabusa to become great. These forms are trained through different means. Allowing a person to do many things, but being able to switch forms and become great upon performing them. Hayabusa Forms: Despite being a bright child, Kurai's power is of the darkness. He can form Darkness of any variety including Dark Matter. He's got a rather concrete link to things of the nature that he deals with it. His body naturally gives off darkness allowing him to generate the needed darkness for attacks. He's able to flood entire rooms in darkness. On the other hand he can create massive attacks with darkness like beams. His power seems extremely intense to handle as Kurai is capable of creating these attacks large enough to cancel others out. He's stopped a Vasto Lorde level cero with ease before dispatching the creature. His power to generate Darkness and use it as needed is a corner stone of his powers. However most would believe Kurai is weakened by the light, however it's rather untrue. The Light only helps him generate more darkness to use for his attacks. Darkness Generation: His spiritual pressure easily matches a Captains. It's not something that is easily forgotten due to the nature of it. His spiritual pressure is elemental based like several peoples. Except it comes in so many varieties that Kurai's power cannot be held into a singular elemental form. When releasing his spiritual pressure, he can create dark energy or simply engulf a target in darkness filling a room with it. Kurai's power has many uses aside from those. But these are the two main ones that make him dangerous. Unlike most people, his reiatsu is black making it appear differently. Kurai has earned his position in the Royal Palace. It was something fairly simple given his power. Kurai was known for amazing strength during his years growing up. Despite the fact his membership in the Zero Division is secret. He does have the strength to be a clear member of the organization. Where he lay is up to considerable debt by many including the leader. Immense Spiritual Pressure: The Hayabusa have a power something from the forms they gain. The Sixth is Forbidden since it has no purpose within the forms. But in short what occurs from the martial forms is a power. It's a gift to unlock the potential in a person and unlock their understanding. This can only be done on a single skill because of it's power. However it's not limited to this, they can unlock anything. Barriers and even things of that nature, they could unlock a security system if desired. The power to unlock things, now part of this comes from their Zanpakutō type. Though rare most of the Clan's Zanpakutō wielders use Keyblade based weapons. Allowing them to function in this aspect. The limitation is simple, they can unlock a person's skill in shunpo from Advanced to Master. They are limited in that front of only reaching Master. For those beyond that must study for centuries and put in the work to go beyond the realm of Masters. Kurai and his family merely know that level. The Key: Kurai is physically extremely fit, his body is in perfect condition. The training from his family has given him the strength of someone several times his size. He's been seen effortlessly flipping people who tower over him like they are nothing. The Hayabusa forms are extremely settled on training speed and strength. While teaching a balance of all things in the art forms. Nothing is stronger than the other, it's a simple balance in forms is all. Kurai is well aware of the nature of his physical prowess. Utilizing it as often as is needed for the situations. Combat is an ever evolving world that requires practice and training. The world was never such a forgiving place that Kurai could forget it. The hard lessons we learn in life shape us as we grow. Kurai's physical status is in perfect to near great conditioning. The Hayabusa are a clan of warriors who safeguard their traditions and lore with iron clarity. Immense Physical Prowess: He is capable of manipulating darkness of any kind. Changing it to fit his purpose, despite changing things around as desire. Kurai is no push over when it comes to manipulating things. Shadow's are a child's game in his mind, when one can create a blast large as yours through shadow beams. Why bother with simple parlor tricks? It's nothing more than simply illusions when using Shadows, though Kurai can use them. For example he can send attacks through them to hit people. When he fills an area with darkness, Kurai's prowess in using his skills is extremely well known among his family. Now sometimes he does misuse them for pranks or playing jokes. But often times this boy is quite serious about it. He has his own adventure to travel as time plays it's part in the world. Kurai's journey has only begun and will take sometime for him to find it's conclusion. He's capable of manipulating much more than people realize with the darkness, but that tip of the Iceberg shall be explored someday. Darkness Manipulation: This is the normal form used when holding back their immense power. The Hayabusa teach temperance in using these forms and the limited form is taught to practice it. Single sword wielding is taught using this form, allowing the wielders to focus and fight how they see fit. Using their immense skill and power to handle situations as needed. The need to balance out situations and limit one's self is important. Kurai believes in using the Limited Form to get a good gauge on his enemies. This form has served many well and serves him well as he fights. The single sword wielding of the limited form is very balanced and practiced well. It can use several different means of fighting as this form allows a great deal of adaption from the wielder. Changing style or method of fighting when they feel the need to do so. Adapting is the key element next to balance when using Limited Form. It's known for it's nature and Kurai has mastered it fully. Limited Form: This form uses two swords and is a physically dominating style, making it fast pace and highly mobile fighting. The speed and physical style of this is constant movement. This is perhaps a form using the combination of strength and speed for the body to fight continued against an enemy. Kurai uses this one sparingly as it is demanding and requires him not to hold back. Kurai's Zanpakutō is sealed into a single blade but when released it's separated into two. The two blade wielding is highly aggressive and fast paced allowing it's wielder to push back entire armies if need be. They are a rocket going through the enemies with little to no give. Valor is exactly what it sounds like, a form that requires immense bravery and steadfast heart to use. Kurai is almost the poster child of Valor, it's a form he's a grand master of in his clan. These forms are specialization and each have different uses. The immense amount of physical moves a person can use here are insane. Valor Form: Telekinetic based kido the clan has used is taught to the wielder here. Allowing them to move objects and even effect the telekinetic pull of attacks. Giving them a great deal of control on the vectors of the area. The Wisdom form focuses on kido and combining it with the telekinetic and vector based fighting style. Kurai is skilled in it, but hates using it. As he considers this style reserved and extremely one sided when fighting. However no better style exists when fighting against enemies. As the Wisdom Form of his clan allows them to adapt and fight using energy. They are able to change the very fabric of kido by doing this form. The clan practiced all the forms for a singular purpose. Wisdom merely is a mental style, allowing the balance to spread. Now one is able to levitate things such as people and objects through the clans telekinetic kido method. As no words or extreme focus is needed for skilled users of this form. Wisdom Form: This is the first level of mastery in his clan, where a user can use the telekinetic powers to far greater extents and send out massive ways of it. While controlling their weapon or weapons with it. Now the other use of this form which Kurai uses it for, is single blade wielding. This is the form where only a singular blade is wielded but two can be done. Kurai uses single blade wielding while doing this. If in Shikai he uses his telekinetic kido to make his other sword float around behind him. Capable of using it for several purposes but this is simply one of many. Master Form allows extremely fast pace fighting, though the second level of mastery is far greater. This one is a fair style where they forgo limiting themselves. Allowing the user to fight at a peak of their power. Kurai has only been forced to use his Master Form once in life. But is said to be experienced enough to handle most creatures when he accesses it's immense power. Master Form: The last form of mastery, two weapons are used and the pace of fighting is absolutely insane. The movement is a blur and telekinetic attacks are mixed in while the user defies gravity countless time. Able to alter the gravity of other attacks putting weight into their own. Or using methods of fighting that just seem insane. This is but one of the final courses that come from the battle hardened Hayabusa family. Kurai is known to be one of the clan's masters of the forms. Not just because he is capable of using the Anti Form that the clan forbids. But because he is capable of control and dedication in the other forms. Kurai's Final Form is said to be extremely effective, despite having not been shown yet. The Final Form brings together everything flawlessly. And Kurai is a Master to Grand master of the Clan's strongest form. It's something that defines him very well. It appears Valor and Final were made for him like a glove he can wear when he pleases. Final Form: The Forbidden Form of the family is the Anti Form, Kurai is a master of it. This form covers the user in darkness making their body almost fully consumed by it. They become a living darkness, this state is reached by an emotional reaction. Only a few people are capable of reaching it and Kurai happens to be one. Anger or Sorrow are the requirement to make this form activate in the clan member. But more than that, Darkness must be within you for it to work. Kurai's Zanpakutō linked him to darkness. Now when in this form Kurai is capable of using Dark Matter and is extremely powerful. He's able to summon massive amounts and create supernova sized attacks with it. However this does have limits as Kurai can only keep his control of this form so long. Even a genius has limits, Kurai never really claimed it. But this style also fits him fairly well. As it can blend into shadows and fight through darkness. This style allows him greater control of the darkness around him. This form only lasts for two turns if something large scale is created. Event Only - Anti Form: Hikari de Yama ga Naka ni-Darkness within light Zanpakutō Name: Embrace Release Command: In it's sealed state his Zanpakutō has some great powers, allowing him to manipulate and create attacks of sizable power. Darkness means more than simply controlling the shadows, as massive blasts of dark origins can be created. Kurai's power is simply something of fairly impressive nature. But using his Zanpakutō's sealed form he is capable of fighting with darkness. Doing things such as slipping into shadows and filling rooms with shadows. The darkness may be purged with large amounts of light in terms of a room filled with darkness. His attacks can be quite sizable as one would expect from a Zero Division member even in sealed. Though he claims it's rather limiting, but it keeps him from bringing the chaos. Darkness is his element and despite it's hostile nature Kurai seems to control it well. The sheer amount of things his Zanpakutō can do is what gives him strength. He can create energy attacks, make creatures and weapons to fight for him. Create emission waves of power to attack with, the sky is the limit with his Zanpakutō. He's not created large scale attacks within sealed but is capable of cancelling regular cero and demon spells out in this form. People have to raise a level to truly stop him from fighting but he simply raises with them normally. His Zanpakutō perhaps can be praised for how many situations it aids in. When he goes into the darkness, his spiritual pressure and very person can vanish into it. Becoming one with it, though this has risks as well. Becoming one with it when his enemy could use an immense light to cleanse the area of shadow could be dire for him. Kurai's skill as an assassin has never been called into question since he can literally remove people from the physical world and take them into the shadow world. It's a realm filled with darkness that his Zanpakutō taps into. Zanpakutō Sealed Powers: The first thing noticed upon it's release is that the sword has changed into two keyblades. Giving form to the key like weapons, they are sharp despite being keys. This allows him to cut through things, one of the powers his Zanpakutō has as a key is to unlock anything. Their is no known limit to this other than making Grand Masters. The power of his Zanpakutō grows vastly here allowing the darkness to consume even more. The area seems to come alive with shadows and such creations are easy to make. Kurai's skill is something that people rarely forget seeing when his shikai is activated. Wielding two swords he's extremely powerful as it indicate's he's done holding back. Kurai's Zanpakutō can create far larger attacks with his shikai now. The immense amount of choice is still present, the area of effect he can engulf in darkness raises up. He's able to literally engulf half a small city. This isn't much of a feat to some, but Kurai finds it easier to move when darkness rules a place. Kurai's capable of many feats within this shikai. Teleporting from shadow to shadow is something he can do effortlessly. Dragging people into the darkness is another possible outcome for him. Upon activation the area begins to drown in darkness, making his Zanpakutō's power extremely effective. Though it's a choice by him to use it in such a fashion. Kurai can either go big or small depending on what he believes is needed, control is perhaps the greatest gift he and his Zanpakutō have. Allowing them to effortlessly change a battle to fit their needs. Everything can be measured through how well someone responds to a situation. Anything to do with darkness is possible in shikai, bombs almost anything he desires. The amount of energy put in determines the result of his attack. Kurai's Zanpakutō isn't set to a standard belief or form. Shikai Powers: His bankai can expand to cover an entire town in darkness, now the idea of a town sized weapon is quite frightening. So he normally keeps it lower than this. But one must consider all the existing shadows which get powered up by his Zanpakutō. But his already great spiritual pressure expands upon everything. Kurai is perhaps one of the younger Shinigami to obtain the art of Bankai. So his can grow more powerful, it's estimated his Bankai alone could cover an entire city an army of shadow. But this is merely speculation as currently he can cover one but do little more than move from location to location. His bankai is something extremely effective, as the attacks all become massive. Allowing destruction on a huge scale when needed. Kurai is known to fight using the many powers his Zanpakutō can use. Darkness can be freely manipulated and generated while in bankai, allowing him to create massive attacks with it. Kurai's strength isn't absolute, but he can accomplish several things. But due to his youth it's believed his power will still grow. Bankai Power: A kido used by the Hayabusa clan for fighting in form with their forms. It's basically capable of using telekinetic force to effect objects and people. Kurai's not especially good at it, but he is capable enough of lifting objects and through them. Diverting large attacks by changing the vector's for the telekinetic properties of the attacks. Kurai's judgment when using his Telekinetic kido is extremely sharp, allowing him to access the powers of his Zanpakutō and tie them in with anything he desires. Telekinetic kido allows them to alter the vectors of things, now the limit is based on how well versed they are in kido. A Master can change things enough to cause earthquakes the scale of which depends on their energy output. However this kido is something the clan teaches their people with a very open base. Making sure each member who intends to fight is versed in it to some extent. Telekinetic Kido: Born the brother of Hikari, he was known to be a very bright and happy child. His skill was clear even as an infant he had impressive spiritual pressure. Kurai was very fond of playing with his brother as a young child. Despite being older than his brother, Kurai seemed to act younger. He always seemed competitive with everyone around him. He wanted to have fun and race, he often played games with his father. Kurai had over twenty games with his father involving memory just as a child. He spent plenty of time doing what he could with the family. Growing up was easy, but the Hayabusa Clan saw something. Kurai was naturally gifted in strength and leadership skills. He could take the initiative when others couldn't so his Clan began training him early. Kurai was around Five Years old when training commenced for him. Studying limited form and things of that nature, the question of how this is done is hard answered. Kurai was a quick learner, so they put seals on him and used telekinetic kido to increase the weight of the room. This allowed children and young ones to train in different areas. Kurai's training for limited form was about learning to function without reiatsu. Turning it off and becoming completely silent with it. It was about many things that his family promised, Kurai's story wasn't all training though. The Hayabusa Clan was approached very early on by the Soul King's envoys. They saw a weapon to be used in the Hayabusa Clan which remained out of the Gotei 13. They trained their own way and fought as they saw fit, making them an outside element. Some people of the clan formed their zanpakutos on their own. Kurai was someone who's Zanpakutō came to him naturally. The two shared a bond that couldn't be touched lightly. Missions began coming in for the Hayabusa clan, they were hollow killers that were sent in to slay beings of far greater power. Kurai had done much work as a warrior, his practice was showing. Kurai and his brother were still quite close when Kurai was elected to lead a team. The Hayabusa Clan's Teams handled killing Menos Grande and up. Kurai's journey and bond with his clan's team of killers was extremely close. Kurai showed natural leadership qualities during his time with his family, showing signs that young Captains had. People were inspired around him, hope was a radiating spring off this boy. Kurai never looked defeated or down, he got disappointed when he lost his own challenges. The missions kept coming and some were successful and others weren't so much. He lost good people on some missions but avoided depression from it. He kept that smile at all times, someone finally asked him how he could smile. Kurai had a reply for them, that most youth wouldn't of responded with. He said that people are counting on me, the people I've been unable to protect would want me to try my best. To move forward and smile in their memory as I pave the way for the next warriors. Kurai wasn't foolish and did feel pain. That wasn't something this young boy was naive too, Kurai studied things diligently and put the work in on his families goals. Kurai was sent ahead of his brother to the Divine of the South. This is where studying would intensify. But it wasn't Kurai getting the training, the General of the South ended up getting trained. Learning what it meant to live life and enjoy it, this young boy taught him. Kurai was a naturally gifted fighter, he picked up things as quickly as he saw them. Able to come up with moves on the fly, though his Zanpakutō's power helped him immensely. Creativity was part of what made him such a good warrior. Kurai seemed to enjoy music and artistic painting. Things of that nature made him happy, he seemed to see them in different ways. He first saw the Mona Lisa through a magazine in the living world. And said it had meanings that couldn't be grasped through regular means. That you had to look at it with eyes wide open, Kurai as he aged became a philosopher of his clan. Despite being young still, he spends his days among the Palace now. Studying and coming up with his own beliefs. Philosophy was something of extreme importance to him, he seemed to embrace with a loving heart. Kurai is currently in a position few other his age would be in.
