Remembrance.. Truth

And how was she supposed to react to this situation? Kimiko was currently sitting in a tree a few feet from the same tree some drunk guy had just fallen into. Raising her head from a book, she looked to him and sort of just tossed the book aside, allowing it to hit the ground. She blinked a few times, then her left eye began to twitch at this scene. Setting her hand down on the branch she was on, she pushed herself into the air, landing right next to the passed out male. Setting her hand on her hips, she knelt down next to him and watched him sleep. "Drunkard..." she mumbled under her breath and then looked around to see if anyone was watching. A mischievous smile formed onto her lips when she realized no one was around. She stood up straight once more, and brought her foot back. In a nice swing of her leg, she kicked this drunken male right in the side, just below his ribs. It wasn't too hard, but it would more than likely knock the wind out of him, and depending on how drunk he was, probably make him throw up. "WAKE UP YOU LAZY DRUNK!" she yelled as her foot made contact with this man's side.

Once he woke up, if he did, he would look up to see a young woman with reddish brown hair and matching colored eyes. She had a nice bust, curves all in the right places, and her figure was on the athletic side. A sword, this being her Zanpakutō, would be laying on her left hip, easy access for a right handed girl. If he did not wake up, she would repeat the process until he did, but since he more than likely would, she set her hands on her hips and bent over, glaring down at him. "What do you think you're doing getting so drunk in public that you don't have the normal ability to walk around!?!?"

Kimiko was not ready for what was about to happen next. Maybe kicking a guy when he was down and drunk wasn't the smartest idea for her. Suddenly, she was pulled down on top of him, causing their lips to collide. She was unable to tell whether this was on purpose or not, but the kiss was not something she wanted to just give away. It was her first. Her eyes widened in utter shock, her body tensed. She didn't know how to react. Her mind kept telling her one thing. "Pull away, pull away! Why can't I move! Pull away!" He even went far enough to slid his tongue in through the kiss. She gasped and she assumed that was what made him come to his senses because about that time was when he pulled back, looked to her, and gently pushed her backwards. Although he had done it gently, she was in her own panicked state of mind and moved back faster. This caused her to slip and fell backwards. "He kissed me... My first kiss.. I gave it to some drunk guy on the floor?!?!" she thought to herself rather angry with what had just happened. For the first time in a while, she felt tears showing up in her eyes.

Kimiko reached up and quickly wiped them away. About this time, he spat off to the side. "What?! He kisses me and then spits like it was disgusting? What an asshole!" she thought to herself. She heard his half-assed apology and only glared rather angrily at him. "How dare you..." she said in a low hiss, "You force my first kiss on me and then push me away? THEN you have the nerve to spit like you didn't even want it in the first place? What kind of horrible man are you!?" She pushed herself back up to her feet as she yelled down at him. She was even tempted to grab onto her Zanpakutō and take his life right here and now. He might as well have taken hers. The one thing she held dear was stolen from her by some drunken jerk that she didn't even know!

"Your first as well huh? You seem pretty damn experienced in it!!" She yelled towards him as she wiped her mouth with the back of her sleeve. She barely saw his cheeks turn red as he saw the tears in her eyes. She was angry right now. His feelings weren't exactly on the top of her priority list. She turned away from him, but was startled to feel his arms suddenly wrap around her in a comforting manner. It wasn't something she was used to; being hugged by a well built man. She wasn't one to be hugged by anyone actually. For a moment, she smiled and even raised her arms to hug him. Suddenly, something kicked in her mind and her eyes narrowed. She smiled evilly. She took a step back, sent one heck of a strong and quick punch to the side of his jaw. "HANDS OF ME YOU LAZY DRUNK!" She took in a deep breath and then straightened herself out, pointing at him in a serious manner, "Now see here! I understand if someone has never felt that before, but you don't just steal it away and expect it to be okay! Especially if you steal it away from me!"

"He sighed and exhaled as the punch stopped cold inches from his skin as he looked at her letting her go.. though he waited opening his arms allowing her a free strike. and when doing so, he had allowed his eyes to slowly slide shut. The thick lashes on his face having slid to veil and hide his amber eyes, Now he slid forward pushing her out of the way as a cero colided with his side the feeling of ash and decay becoming prominent for the more part as he now quickly moved scooping up the female too quick to really catch, Before jumping up as another cero incinerated the ground where they where, while he was off now jumping from roof top to roof top impossibly fast before kicking through a door and sending himself sprawling as he looked down at her murmering something

"Are you ok?".. he said as there was a singed characteristic to his side.. but because he had allowed it to hit.. not because it exactly harmed him.

This is all he said.

Not only had her punch stopped short, but he pushed her off to the side to allow a cero to hit him. Before Kimiko even got a chance to look around to see where this cero had come from, she was pulled from her feet and her body was lifted. This drunken man began carrying off, not really giving her any choice in the matter. Once he moved, she saw that another cero had slammed into the ground right where they once stood. She attempted to look around to find exactly where this thing was that was attacking them, but wasn't really given a chance. He was moving a bit too quickly for her to be able to react. Kimiko wasn't even really aware of where he was taking her. He suddenly kicked through a door and hurled himself inside. She looked up to him in complete confusion, "Y-Yeah, I'm all right, but what are you doing?! And your side... Is it okay? Let me down!" She struggled in the man's arms until he put her on her own two feet. She was not one of those girls that liked being 'swept off their feet' and carried away like some princess being protected by a prince. And looking at this guy, he wasn't exactly prince like, at least under her standards. "How does a drunk guy move so quickly anyway?" she asked him. She was still keeping herself alert. Obviously they had just been attacked, but by what or whom?

Kimiko was so confused right now. This man... This STRANGE man went from being a drunken pervert to a serious, mission bound warrior within a second. Yes, he had saved her from getting annihilated by a cero that she had obviously not sensed coming, but then there was this. She looked down to the palm of her hand as he placed some sort of stone, or gem, inside of it. There was definitely some sort of strange sensation she was getting from it. It was like he was putting all of his trust in her for a single mission that she didn't even fully understand. She was supposed to find a woman by the name of Hanako, who is apparently some sort of skilled bounty hunter. He had practically begged her to go along with this as well, but everything was happening so fast, her mind was having trouble catching up. "I-I... I don't understand... You want me to find this Hanako woman and give her this stone? Where do I even find her? You said you can get me as far as Karakura, but where the heck do I go from there? You can't just expect me to be all willing and able when, ONE, I just met you and TWO... Do I even know your name? Or do you know mine? I have NO clue who you are, how can I trust this isn't some tr-..."

Kimiko stopped in mid-sentence as he turned around and gestured that he wanted her to get on his back. She stared at him like he was insane for a moment. "What are you doing? You can't expect me to get on your back and go with you where ever you please..." Although she was arguing with him, something told her to go along with it. "Why do I feel like I am going to regret this?" she thought to herself as she reluctantly walked forward and hopped onto this strangers back, "I seriously have to be one hundred percent insane to do this..."
