Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4475-1

• Name: Chiyoko Fukui
• Chronological Age: 1480
• Physical Age: 8
• Date of Birth: October 29th, 934
• Gender: Female
• Sexual Orientation: Chiyoko is actually a lesbian, and strictly likes other girls, finding everything about boys to just be all around generally inferior to them, as they're not as smart, much uglier, they smell, have no manners, and in pretty much every way are just generally inferior to girls. So, yeah, Chiyoko likes the ladies.
• Affiliation: Chiyoko is one of the newer members of the Shadow Fall, having just recently joined them after having a run in with the Misechvang family when she actually attempted to steal from them, but they, impressed with her powers, offered her a position in their organization as an alternative to death after defeating and capturing her during the attempt. As such, Chiyoko has grown to like the sisters very much, admiring them, and has become a very loyal member of their organization, the girl having taken a particularly strong liking for the youngest sister, Rose [Note: I plan to actually play out Chiyoko’s joining the Shadow Fall, with her first thread being the one where she attempts to break into their base and steal from them, only to get caught in the end despite putting up an impressive fight]. In addition to this, Chiyoko also holds a great admiration for the two other major women leaders among the arrancar of Hueco Mundo, these of course being Tia Harribel and Neliel Tu Odelschwanck.
• Menos Class: Vasto Lorde

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4482-1

Spoiler:

• Physical Description: Chiyoko is very short, being as physically speaking she is only an eight-year-old child. She stands about 3’11” in height and weighs approximately 50 lbs. Even for an eight-year-old this is actually quite small, but of course Chiyoko is Japanese, a people who are naturally smaller than most other ethnicities. The girl’s body is quite petite and rather scrawny looking, and certainly doesn’t give her the appearance of the type of person to be afraid of considering that most people she meets are literally three times her size. Chiyoko’s body lacks any sort of womanly development due to her chronological age, and as a result both her breasts and buttocks are completely flat. She has virtually no curves either, again in keeping with her having a child-like physique. She is visibly athletic, at least as much as a child who exercises regularly could be expected to be.

The girl’s hair is cut short and is worn in a sort of pixie style so that it won’t get in her eyes while she’s working, as having long hair simply wouldn’t work for her, being too impractical. She does have two flat, triangular tufts, which resemble cat ears, although they are not merely being made of hair. Chiyoko’s eyebrows are somewhat thick for a girl her age though, which is kind of cute in its own way, being mildly curved. Still, the real eye-catcher of her face is just that, her eyes. Chiyoko’s eyes are amber in color and her pupils are shaped like vertical almonds, which open and close depending both on the surrounding lighting, as well as Chiyoko’s own mood, just like a cat’s.

The girl also has very long, thick eyelashes and like many arrancar, has colored markings on her face. Chiyoko’s are quite extensive, consisting of gold-colored makeup surrounding her eyes which is in the style of that which Egyptians used to wear, there being lines that extend down the bridge of her nose, and high eyeliner which rises to meet her eyebrows, as well as black mascara surrounding her eyelashes to further accentuate her eyes.

Chiyoko’s facial features are rather soft, her nose being small and rounded, and her mouth being short and thin-lipped. Her skin is fair, and is definitely Asian in complexion. All in all, the girl is rather cute in appearance, or at least she would be if she didn’t always have a frown on her face. Chiyoko’s hollow hole is located on the center of her clavicle, that is, the top of her collarbone.

• Wardrobe Description: Like many Arrancar, Chiyoko has a custom version of the standard ones that most Arrancar wear. First, she wears a black undershirt, of the camisole style under her white coat, which she wears open. The camisole shirt is somewhat short, exposing the girl’s belly, and is rather low-cut, revealing her hollow hole on her clavicle. Two strong-like straps on each side hold it up. Then, as for the coat she wears over it, it is of medium length, extending down to her upper thighs, and has fur trimmings on it at two points. First, around the collar is some bushy black fur, forming a sort of mane, and second, at the bottom, which is curved downward from where it starts and splits into two tails like a tuxedo coat.

Next, her pants are of the harem style, being very baggy and loose before coming to a tight close at the bottom where they meet her shoes and socks. Around her waist Chiyoko wears a black fur Haramaki, a type of Japanese waistband, as opposed to the normal obi type sashes, which most Arrancar wear. This haramaki has multiple thin straps on it set along regular intervals, also covered in black fur, and held onto the haramaki with these straps is a white belt onto which she attaches her things, including the pouch where she keeps her Zanpaku-to in its sealed form. Chiyoko’s shoes also differ from the normal ones in that at their ends, Chiyoko’s toes are covered on the top by a white metal plate, which extends from the soles of the shoes on the bottom, which are a sort of padded material. The metal plate extending over the top of each shoe then extends outward from there and comes to a very sharp, metal point that Chiyoko can use to augment the effectiveness of her kicks, stabbing people with the sharp points extending from her shoes.

• Bone Appearance: Finally, the remaining fraction of Chiyoko’s Hollow Mask is worn as an accessory, consisting of a medium length necklace that she wears with the actual mask portion itself being the lower jaw of a domestic cat skull, which is attached to the rest of the necklace on each side, the rest of it consisting of spherical beads made out of bone.
For reference, here’s an image of what a cat jaw looks like:
Spoiler:

• Hollow Hole: The center of her Clavicle [the collarbone].

• Reiatsu Colour: Chiyoko’s Reiatsu is indigo in color, although there is sometimes also a bit of black mixed in around the edges or within the Reiatsu itself like stripes, this only occurring when she is particularly angry or emotional.

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4476-1

Personality:
• Ruthlessness: Chiyoko has trained herself in the ways of the ninja and other highly disciplined Martial Arts practices. She has lived a long life on the harsh landscape of Hueco Mundo where it is kill or be killed, and nice guys always die first. As such, people should not assume that Chiyoko is some cute and nice little girl based on her appearance. In battle, and especially to anyone who she dislikes, which basically includes all Shinigami and Quincy, she will be the most ruthless, cold-hearted, and deadly opponent they have ever faced. This is because Chiyoko has trained her mind to the point where she is able to do something that is extremely difficult, this being that she can completely remove her pride from the equation of her thought processes. In battle, pride is really only a limiter that a person places on oneself when they believe that their opponent isn’t worthy of them using their full ability on them, but this can easily backfire.

Chiyoko is different in that she doesn’t allow pride to affect her decisions, which means that regardless of her opponent, she will always kill them in the fastest, most efficient way she is possibly capable of devising, often doing what would be considered overkill, although she is smart enough to save her strength when fighting large numbers of opponents. All in all, Chiyoko’s assassin-like mindset in battle makes her a deadly weapon that most people end up underestimating because she simply doesn’t look like the type of person who would pose much of a threat, despite being incredibly dangerous as a fighter and considerably powerful.

• Cleverness & Wit: Despite her young appearance, Chiyoko is actually very old, and as a result of it has an enormous wealth of experience to draw from. She is very, very smart, having used her shapeshifting powers to allow her to go all the way through school many times over. Chiyoko has many College Degrees under her belt as a result of this. When she speaks she will often speak with a fair degree of sarcasm in her voice, and she is always quick to make clever and witty comments and jokes about those around her, whether it be her friends, enemies, or just acquaintances.

• Loyal: Despite her tough-girl attitude, once you get under her shell and manage to earn her trust, Chiyoko will pretty much do absolutely anything you can possibly think of for you. She is loyal to a fault, and will always defend her friends and anyone who has earned her trust, admiration, or love to her dying breath. Chiyoko is fiercely protective of anyone she cares about, and this can sometimes get in the way when she loses sight of an objective when an ally gets hurt on the field.

• Kleptomania: Chiyoko is a thief after all, but often times she can get rather carried away with her stealing, something which will rise to the level of obsessive in its seriousness. If Chiyoko sees something that she wants, she will feel an uncontrollable desire to steal it that she cannot ignore and cannot go against. She can use her skills to do the steal stealthily, but still, being so often compelled to steal things that are in retrospect, often not really necessary for her can be a real pain, especially when she’s trying to blend in and not draw attention to herself while infiltrating somewhere.

• Cynaphobia: Despite how powerful she is, as pathetic as it might seem, Chiyoko can be actually be completely paralyzed with fear by anything canine in nature. If she is in the presence of any sort of canine, whether it is a dog, wolf, fox, jackal, coyote, whatever, she will instantly become frozen with fear. Depending on what it is, like if the canine in question is considerably weaker than her, she may be able to muster up the strength to run away, but even then she basically just does so dashing away with her sonido in the exact opposite direction regardless of whether or not she could have actually beaten the dog in question. This fear also applies both to other Arrancar and similar races with canine-type transformations, as well as Shinigami with Canine Zanpaku-to.

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4477-1

• History: Chiyoko Fukui was born in the middle of the Heian period of Japanese History on October 29th, 934 AD. Her birthplace was none other than the largest city in Japan at the time, Heian-kyo, a place known today as Kyoto. Still, Chiyoko’s life seemed right from the very start to be doomed to failure. Her mother died in childbirth with her, after having a very long and hard pregnancy with the girl. Still, despite this, Chiyoko was actually born very lively and healthy, and in fact has unwittingly caused her own mother’s death with one of her spiritual abilities, her ability to absorb the luck from those around her, something which in this case had caused her to absorb her own mother’s health until the point when once she no longer needed her to survive, the woman simply gave out and died.

Chiyoko’s father was a low-ranking soldier who rarely had time for her, and so during her early days she was often left with relatives. It was during this time that Chiyoko found that in addition to being naturally bad luck for those around her, as bad things just seemed to happen to anyone and everyone that got close to Chiyoko, something she couldn’t control until eventually her relatives just stopped caring for her entirely and she was forced to take to the streets while her father was away.

Since Chiyoko’s father was a soldier, he was often off on missions, or on duty guarding various important figures, or just at posts at the royal estate, and so this left Chiyoko with a great deal of time she had to kill, which she spent on the streets, playing with the local children, although she was careful not to get too close to them, even though she was finally starting to learn how to control her abilities. She had also found that in addition to being a natural luck siphon to those around her, Chiyoko also seemed to have a very strong affinity for cats, which took to her naturally. She would often see stray cats wandering around the streets of the city, surviving off of what they could hunt, or from scraps dropped by people. During those days, Chiyoko, like any young child, was both extremely observant, as well as extremely impressionable, and so she took on many cat-like traits, beginning to hang out with them and act like them. Chiyoko seemed to be able to innately understand the cat’s feelings and even talk to them.

Then however, even when Chiyoko thought she had been able to stop herself from hurting those around her, tragedy struck her once again. In 939 Taira no Masakado led a rebellion against the central government of Kyoto, which Chiyoko’s father served. He was naturally called into service to quell it, but during the initial fighting fell in battle, leaving Chiyoko orphaned.

After having to deal with the string of bad luck she seemed to bring along with her, none of Chiyoko’s extended family was willing to take her in, what’s more considering her now to already be basically a street rat anyway who would only disgrace their houses with her vulgar ways. Cold, harsh, but those were the ways of Japan during those times. Another reason they didn’t want her, but something that would prove one of Chiyoko’s most valuable assets in her later life was her to them, rather undesirably habit of thievery, and besides even this, Chiyoko was often seen talking to thin air, holding full conversations with nothing. In fact, the girl was able to see ghosts, possessing naturally strong spirit energy, which she had inherited from her mother, who had been a Miko priestess during life.

With nowhere else to go, Chiyoko went to the one place that seemed most natural to her, since it was already essentially her home anyway, this of course being the streets of the city, Chiyoko becoming one of the many homeless youth living on the crowded streets of Heian-kyo. Chiyoko already knew much from her previous time spent here, but quickly learned what she didn’t know, stealing to survive, and even making friends with a few of the local children that didn’t mind her quirks of talking to cats and the dead. Still, one day when Chiyoko was eight, her exceptionally strong spiritual energy would come back to bite her, when it attracted a certain kind of predator, a Hollow. This one, resembling a wolf in appearance, had sniffed her out and wasted no time in attacking her once it did.

Chiyoko ran as fast as her tiny legs could take her from the enormous monster. She had learned the skill of pickpocketing over her short time there, and so was quite a fast runner, but the beast chasing her was quickly closing the distance between them. Chiyoko was trying to make it to the nearest temple where she hoped she could receive help from the priests, but before she could make it, the beast finally overtook her and took a swipe at her with its enormous paw, and her soul was pulled from her body. When she came to, Chiyoko felt disoriented, her breathing was heavy, and upon looking down she saw that there was a chain attached to her chest. Following it with her eyes she saw that it was attached to her own fallen body. Was she dead? Not yet, but then the huge wolf stepped on the chain, breaking it. Well, now she was. Chiyoko got up and continued running towards the temple, and quickly managed to get her breath back as she did so. She knew where the closest one was and that is was quite close by, and she didn’t have much longer now to go before she reached it and hopefully there, even as a spirit, she would find protection. Just then however the wolf grabbed the severed chain, which was trailing behind Chiyoko in its mouth and began to shake it, throwing the little girl around like a ragodoll.

Finally, as the creature then bared down on her, stepping on the young girl and pressing her head against the ground, Chiyoko screamed out as loud as she could in terror, believing that this was the end, but it was just as she did this that something amazing happened. Out of multiple black portals, a number of other creatures with white masks, vaguely similar in appearance to the one attacking her came to her aide, attacking the huge wolf and toppling it off of her. Then, as she slowly got up, still aching from nearly being crushed under the wolf, Chiyoko noticed something. All of the creatures attacking the wolf had one thing in common. They were all cats of some kind. Apparently her connection to felines went deeper than simply liking and empathizing with them, she could genuinely spiritually bond with the animals, and any form of feline, even these monster ones, were affected by it.

Although the cat Hollows that had come to save her quickly devoured the wolf one, it had already done its damage. Chiyoko’s Chain of Fate was severed and so she was effectively dead. Soon she began having excruciating attacks as what little remained of her chain started to eat itself. The pain was bad, so bad that time seemed to move very slowly during this period of Chiyoko’s life, and she always lived in fear of when the next one would come. Her only comfort during this time was the fact that the cat hollows that had protected her from the wolf hollow continued to stay with her, and living with them gave her some degree of comfort. Soon, once the chain was completely gone, she became one of them, her body being blown apart before reforming into a hollow which looked very much like her new friends, resembling a cat with smooth silky fur. After this the attacks from the Chain of Fate were gone, but in their place a new hunger took hold, which was constant and never went away. After this point Chiyoko often had to fight off strange warriors dressed in black kimonos with swords that would try to kill her, but she was very clever and ways managed to kill them or at least get away. It also helped quite a bit in both of these strategies that she had the unique ability to phase through things like a ghost, even other ghosts!

Soon she found while following her cat friends that she continued to hang around with that she had gained the ability to travel to a strange place, and entire world like nothing she’d ever seen before, made entirely out of sand. She liked living here, as at least here those mean people in black never shoed up to try and attack her. Here she was safe, well, mostly. There were many other creatures here like her; creatures she soon learned were called hollows. For the time being she was still on the bottom of the food chain, talented, but still a lowly unclassified hollow. Of these hollows, the ones referred to as “menos” especially were much stronger than her, but Chiyoko was still clever and strong, and had always been a survivor, so she pushed on, growing ever stronger with each soul she consumed. The new hunger she had never seemed to truly go away, and often she would travel to the human world away from her new home which she learned was called Hueco Mundo, to eat people. The first ones she ate, and perhaps some of the ones she enjoyed the most, were her own extended family, the same people who had so cruelly rejected her years before after her father’s death. They deserved it since after her father had died they had all completely abandoned her, so she felt absolutely no remorse at all in killing them.

Chiyoko tried to limit herself to only eating people she didn’t like, people who were mean, and only men, not women or children. It was hard exerting that much control over herself, but she managed it, and through this, as well as occasionally feeding off of other hollows, especially the mean ones, she managed to survive. Chiyoko quickly began to notice that with each soul she consumed, her strength grew. Eventually human souls couldn’t satisfy her at all, and so her diet came down to consist solely of other hollows, and during this time she stopped travelling to the human world entirely.

This period of cannibalization continued for a long time, until one day while Chiyoko was traveling throughout a particularly dangerous place called the forest of Menos, she came upon a writhing mass of other hollows all eating each other. Feeling her mouth water just watching it, Chiyoko leapt in and began devouring as many of the other hollows as she could, but quickly as, more and more, and more hollows showed up, while she managed to keep herself from being devoured, she was getting overwhelmed, and then a strange process took place whereby her body, as well as the bodies of all of the hollows surrounding her seemed to break apart and coalesce, forming one giant hollow, a Gillian, the first stage of a Menos Grande Hollow.

Now in the form of this mindless black giant, Chiyoko had now lost control of herself, becoming one of only countless other minds inside this creature, but through sheer perseverance she pressed on, and bit by bit she conquered more and more and more of this creatures mind for herself, until she was once again on top. The battle was long, hard-fought, but not without its rewards. For during this time the Gillian that she was a part of had done what any hollow does, continue to eat, and had been lucky enough not to get eaten at all itself. Once Chiyoko took over, she found out that she had when one day she looked into some glass that had been formed of the sands of her home realm that a fire controlling hollow had scorched during a battle. In the reflection she saw that her mask was different now, and somewhat similar to her old one.

It was not long after this change that she evolved again, growing much, much smaller and once again taking on a feline shape. Chiyoko felt very strong now, exponentially more than she ever had before, and using her ability to empathize with and communicate with other cat hollows, she gathered herself a sort of pride of other cat hollows that she would lead into battle like a warrior queen. They respected her and she was kind to them, but yet, still she hated canines of all kinds, being deathly afraid of them, as she was unable to forget the traumatic experience of that first wolf hollow attacking and killing her, and especially that moment where it was standing on top of her and it looked like she was about to be consumed. Whenever she would encounter a canine hollow she would almost completely freeze with fear, even if they were weaker than her. During these cases her pride mates would protect her, and they managed to get through even these situations.

Chiyoko found during this long period of her life that her sense of time seemed to disappear. She never kept track of how many years passed, but she knew it was a lot. Still, during her occasional excursions into the human world during this period, Chiyoko would use her Ladron de Guante Blanco ability to transform herself into a small cat about the size of an eight-year-old domestic cat kitten. She was still very clearly a hollow in this form, but it gave her the ability to completely mask her reiatsu, which was useful for stealth. Chiyoko would use this ability while in the human world to observe various things there that she sought to teach herself about. Feeling that she had to get at least some level of an education, since she had never had the chance to get a formal one in life, Chiyoko spent much of her time self-educating herself in whatever various subjects interested her. One subject in particular that she found a great deal of interest in was martial arts, observing and training herself in a number of different styles, for even despite being a cat, Chiyoko had the ability to walk on two legs just as well as four, and so could perform the moves she was witnessing. Then, while traveling the Japanese Countryside, she ran into a hidden Ninja village, specifically the neighboring Iga and Koga valleys which both had sizeable ninja clans living in them.

Observing their methods silently and from the shadows, Chiyoko found that these ninjas, like many who made martial arts their life’s pursuit, were especially spiritually aware, and so she had to be careful around them, as these people had seen creatures like her before, and although she may have appeared small and cute, they knew that a hollow was still a hollow, and that meant she was a dangerous, lethal predator. With her fair share of close calls, including many a forced battle with Shinigami who managed to track her down, Chiyoko would often consume them as well, by now having grown to hate Shinigami with a burning passion.

Then, one day, many, many years into Chiyoko’s long life, he came, a man she knew was one of those black clothed people she hated so much. He had two comrades with him as well, both of which were also of that same ilk. The man and his two companions had traveled to the Las Noches palace where Hueco-Mundo’s self proclaimed “God-King” Barragan resided. Chiyoko usually didn’t go near that place, although occasionally she would sneak in to steal things from the old man. Naturally he rather disliked her because of that, and on occasion her pride and his forces would fight each other. Those were some of Chiyoko’s favorite battles, even if she was usually forced to retreat from them in the end.

In any case, the black-clothed man eventually came to her, hearing of her pride from Barragan, but she refused to join him, not trusting him due to him still being one of those people. What’s more, something about this man in particular just gave her chills. After a few of his attempts at recruiting her he gave up, but that didn’t mean he left her alone. No, he sent his forces after her. He, Sosuke Aizen, was the new ruler of Las Noches now, and all of Hueco Mundo had to bow down before him or die. That was the new reality.

Chiyoko fought hard to protect her precious pride, but the forces that attacking her were proving a great challenge just for her to keep up with, as while they were still clearly hollows, they were also humanoid in appearance, and bore many similarities to those black-clothed people, including the use of blades as weapons. Then however, their leader of the forces attacking her and her pride showed up. Smelling the man’s scent Chiyoko froze in fear. The man smelled just like a wolf, and she could sense that he was ridiculously powerful, far more so than any hollow she had ever seen. Yet, by all outward appearances he didn’t really seem that threatening. He wasn’t doing much, just laying down in the sand, observing the battle silently, and there was a girl with him who was yelling in his ear. Finally he told her to shut up, to which she just pouted. All around her Chiyoko’s pride mates were falling, yet their leader, Chiyoko, was too terrified of this man to move a muscle.

Still, now more than ever she was feeling the terrible side effects of her Alma de la Gato ability, which not only allowed her to feel the emotions of the cats around her, but also forced her to feel their pain as well. After the first of Chiyoko’s pride had fallen dead the pain had grown too powerful, and Chiyoko simply passed out on the sand. Strangely none of the Arrancar in the horde were attacking Chiyoko, but this was of course because Aizen had given them specific orders not to, saying that he’d handle her himself. Now, finally, with all of Chiyoko’s pride either dead, dying, or at the very least, partially consumed, the man called out for his subordinates to stop. Many of them just ignored him, but then sighing, out from the man’s body an enormous blue pillar of reiatsu shot up into the sky, and he then once again called out for them to stop, this time much more threateningly. They did, and the man then said for them to return to Las Noches, as he would finish this up himself.

Obeying his order, the other humanoid hollows all left, and it was then that the man approached Chiyoko, who, already passed out from all the pain she had experienced, was simply lying there convulsing a bit as psychic twinges of pain continued to shoot into her body from her comrades. Then, kicking Chiyoko in the gut a few times lightly to wake her up, the man looked down at the little Adjuchas. Looking up at him, Chiyoko froze again in fear instantly upon laying eyes on him, and knew she could do absolutely nothing but lay there, frozen in absolute terror of his incredible power. She was completely defenseless, and once again, just as when the wolf hollow had attacked her, she was certain that this was the end, but the man didn’t attack. Standing tall above her the main explained that the members of her pride who were still alive had all had at least some part of them devoured.

He then went on to remind her that any hollow that has had part of them devoured can never evolve any further, and will eventually devolve into a mindless Gillian. Chiyoko knew he was right and had seen the process in action a few times before. Staying silent for a moment as he allowed the full gravity of his point to sink in, the man then went on to say that the only way she would be able to save her pride would be for her to consume them. At least then they could live on inside of her. Mortified at this idea, Chiyoko shook her head, refusing, but one by one, the members of her pride that were still conscious all told her that he was right and that it was what they all wanted.

So, with a heavy heart and feeling she had no other choice, Chiyoko began to actually consume the remaining members of her pride. It was the most torturous experience she would ever go through, physically, mentally, and emotionally. For due to her Alma de la Gato ability, she felt all their pain with each bite she took, and all the emotions, all the sadness and anguish they felt as they died. Over and over again she would do this, eating the members of her pride one at a time, eating until one of them finally died, at which point she would pass out, wait until she came to, and then start on the next one. The wolf man, who introduced himself as Coyote Starrk as he turned to leave when Chiyoko began on the first one, said that he would likely never see her again, and probably wouldn’t remember her either. At this point the girl who was with Starrk looked up at him and asked him why he hadn’t killed Chiyoko as he was supposed to.

Sighing, the main explained that with the extent to which he’d terrified her, and that that, combined with her mental condition after now being forced to consume her entire pride while feeling an empathic bond with all of the individuals she was consuming which forced her to feel their dying emotions and pain would leave her in a state where she surely wouldn’t be a threat to Aizen or Las Noches ever again. What’s more, with her now being forced to consume her entire pride, once she was done she would be like he had been before he and the girl had split off from one another, completely and absolutely alone. For this fact he explained he empathized with her, but as she was consuming her first pride mate, he turned back and shouted that he would only spare her if she promised to never again return to Las Noches. Hesitantly Chiyoko agreed to the ma’s terms, and with that he seemed to completely disappear, almost teleporting away.

Chiyoko continued her torturous task of consuming each and every one of the remaining members of her pride that was still alive, feeling agonizing pain throughout each consumption, and passing out after each one was finished as well. Then, however, once she was finally done with the last of them, something happened inside of her body. She began to change once again, growing into a humanoid form that while about the same size as her previous one, she could tell was exponentially stronger. Although Chiyoko didn’t know it, this day, probably one of the worst in her entire existence, was actually October 29th, 1934, her 1000th Birthday.

During the decades that followed, Chiyoko kept her end of the deal with Starrk, and never again went anywhere near Las Noches, staying away from it entirely as she knew that the second she got anywhere near it Starrk would sense and kill her before she would know what had happened. During much of this time Chiyoko used her Ladron de Guante Blanco ability to travel the human world in disguise, either as a cat hollow, or more often, as a human version of herself, and in doing so was able to study and finally get herself a formal education by scamming her way into school systems, and using her ability to change her apparent age to make herself appear to age normally. She also kept up her practice of Martial Arts, training at various facilities around the world in the art.

During the Winter War between Aizen’s forces and the Gotei 13 however, Chiyoko decided to finally take her chance, and snuck into Las Noches during the commotion after Starrk and the other high-ranking Espada had all gone to the human world to fight in the fake Karakura Town. Chiyoko managed to find her way into Szayelapporo’s laboratory, and Chiyoko then managed to steal a few of his inventions, most notably one of his Fraccion, which instead of resembling any sort of living creature, looked more like a bag. After making off with some of Szayelapporo’s valuables, Chiyoko once again went into hiding.

Over the next four hundred years Chiyoko continued her life much the same as she had before. Soon after the Winter War however, during an encounter with a group of Arrancar that tried to attack her, thinking her easy prey because of her very small prize and how masked her reiatsu was, Chiyoko was eventually forced to rip off her mask, evolving into an Arrancar. She never again went back to Las Noches, but she continually trained herself, ever wanting to improve and seeing the prospect of someday facing Starrk again and defeating him if she could somehow overcome her Cynaphobia as her primary goal. It was a high mark to set for oneself to be sure, but Chiyoko trained relentlessly, improving all of her abilities as much as she could, especially her Sonido, which she had already come to specialize in shortly after discovering how to use it following her evolution into an Arrancar. This wasn’t all she trained, and she continued to practice martial arts, and countless times she would go through the entire human school system in various countries, studying as much as she possibly could and eventually becoming a sort of super-genius who simply by her sheer wealth of experience was quite an asset to have.

Still, above all other things, Chiyoko was still, deep down exactly what she was when she was alive. For as she herself will often say, “I am now, have always been, and always will be, first and foremost, a thief, and don’t you dare forget it!” It was true, and Chiyoko was one of the best at the art, having been a kleptomaniac her entire life and over all that time learning virtually everything there is to know about the art of the steal, from simple pickpocketing to planning elaborate heists, to con games and various scams. Chiyoko was one of the best of the best there was on any plane at the fine art of stealing, swiping, and swindling poor suckers for everything they were worth. What she’ll do with herself now she doesn’t know, but she’s been getting rather full of herself, and the Shadow Fall just may need someone to bring them down a peg or two, or so she thinks.

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4478-1

• Sealed Zanpakutô: The sealed form of Chiyoko’s Zanpaku-to is rather unique in its form in that it is not a conventional blade like most are, although it does have multiple blade elements. Chiyoko’s sealed Zanpaku-to is in fact a pair of black fur gloves with Neko-te Claws on the ends of each finger. Neko-te are a weapon known to have been used by ninjas, which is understandable considering Chiyoko’s own skill in Ninjutsu. Ordinarily, Neko-te are merely ten individual rings, however if this were the case with Chiyoko, putting them on would simply be too time-consuming for it to be practical, so they are attached to gloves instead to make donning them more expedient. The gloves are extremely hard, even the fur elements being as hard as most unsealed Zapnaku-to. The neko-te themselves consist of rings on the end of each finger and thumb, with metal claws extending over the tops of them that come to a very sharp point, allowing Chiyoko to slash with them as if they were completely natural claws.

Still, this isn’t all the gloves have going for them. In addition to this, on both sides of the gloves are segmented blade edges extending from each side. On the inner side, the blade first extends over the top of the thumb, having two segments, one over each part of her thumb, with the second one connecting to the neko-te portion of that finger. Then, a second blade, segmented into three parts, extends outward from the side of the index finger. Then, on the outer side, the blade extends from the side of the palm as well as in three segments extending outward from her pinky fingers.

The next property of the gloves is that there are diamond-shaped metal studs over each one of her knuckles, greatly augmenting the force of her punches. Also, over the back of each hand is a rectangular metal plate that can be used defensively to block attacks. The plates also have two, tooth-like metal blade tips coming out of them which allow them to be used for catching swords. Finally, the portion of the gloves covering Chiyoko’s wrist consists of a tight metal band which exactly fits the shape of her wrist, and is secured very tightly to them, guaranteeing that the gloves won’t simply slide off if pressure is applied to them. When not in use, Chiyoko's Zanpaku-to are stored in a large pouch on her waist.

• Racial Abilities:

Oceanic Spiritual Power: Chiyoko is a Vasto Lorde Class Arrancar, and a very old one at that, and so naturally she possesses an immense amount of spiritual power. Chiyoko has excellent control of her reiatsu, which is saying something because she possesses a truly monstrous amount of it. Most opponents underestimate her strength upon seeing her because she appears so young and normally keeps most of her reiatsu masked, but on those few occasions when Chiyoko actually gets pissed off enough to really let her reaitsu run wild, she is a sight to behold. Chiyoko’s reiatsu is indigo in color, a deep, rich color like the sky just as the last vestiges of sunlight fade away. What’s most disconcerting about her reiatsu however is that it reeks of death and an extremely focused, precisely honed will to kill her targets. Chiyoko is by nature a thief, but she is also a well trained assassin, having learned by studying ninjas during her time touring the human world, and from this study Chiyoko learned their ways, their techniques for honing their will to kill and cutting out any and all needless emotions and distractions to create a level of precision that far from being simple murderous intent, allows her a very focused and finely tuned ability to channel all of her attention towards the single-minded pursuit of ending her prey’s life in the most expedient, efficient way possible. Still, when she really lets it run wild, forgoing the usual scalpel-like control that she exerts over it, Chiyoko’s reiatsu can actually be very chaotic, but still quite scary, and there are often horrific images seen inside the huge pillars of indigo and black reiatsu that shoot off of her.

Enhanced Strength: All Arrancar possess some degree of superhuman strength, and Chiyoko is no different. While one wouldn’t think a child with a small body like hers capable of dealing much damage, Chiyoko’s strength, while not the best amongst all Arrancar, is still nothing to be laughed at. If she punches a person with weak defenses, they will quite often simply explode like a water balloon as opposed to being sent flying, and even against stronger opponents, this little girl is one strong momma. Her claws are usually capable of slicing through even the thickest armor and defenses with the amount of strength she is able to put behind them.

Superhuman Senses: As part of her feline like traits, all of Chiyoko’s major senses have been enhanced greatly, easily rising to superhuman levels that even most supernatural beings can’t hope to match. These senses include her sight, which allows her perfect night vision, the girl being able to see in virtually complete darkness as if it were a sunny day, and she is also able to read a newspaper from across a football field, and her eyes are especially good at picking up on the usually undetectable movements of particularly speedy opponents, since they essentially need to so that she can see herself when she’s moving at the mind bogglingly fast speeds she often moves at. Chiyoko’s sense of hearing is enhanced as well, the girl able to hear sounds that an ordinary person can’t, and she is able to read a person’s mood by listening to the sound of their heartbeat. She can also listen into conversations at much greater distances than an ordinary person would be able to, the girl being able to eavesdrop on opponents without even being in the same vicinity. She can also track targets by their scent alone, and has memorized literally thousands of different scents as well as tastes when she’s eating, and can recognize each instantly. Finally, her sense of touch is also enhanced so that it can be used as an alternative to her Pesquisa should it be somehow disabled, as Chiyoko is able to sense vibrations through the ground to determine the general location, number, direction of movement, and speed of any forces in her vicinity by simply placing either her hand or a bare foot on any hard surface and feeling the vibrations traveling through the ground.

Enhanced Sonido & Catlike Movements: While somewhat similar to Hoho in regards to function and speed, Sonido appears to be more instinctual, seemingly requiring no previous knowledge to perform. It produces a different sound; rather than the swishing or sometimes silent Shunpo of the Shinigami, Sonido makes a booming or static noise. Though the technique is exhibited by most Arrancar, the proficiency with which it can be performed is limited only by the individual, with Zommari Rureaux possessing the self-proclaimed fastest Sonido among the Espada. However, it is unknown if such claims are true, given that Zommari was outranked by six Espada of higher power, with Coyote Starrk in particular being able to cover tremendous distances at such speed that his Sonido seemed akin to teleportation. Starrk’s use is notable for the fact that he simply appears solidly instead of shimmering momentarily like other Sonido users.

For Chiyoko especially, Sonido is particularly important, as out of all of her different racial powers, it is by far the one she most specializes in, the girl’s sheer amount of speed being truly incredible to behold. Chiyoko has reached the level of mastery with her Sonido where she usually no longer makes the static sound that is heard when sonido is usually used, and instead of shimmering into view like most user’s of the technique do, Chiyoko will, much like Starrk, simply appear wherever it is she has just used her Sonido to get to. She has trained long and hard in this art and is very confidant in her abilities in it, confidant that she is one of, if not the single fastest Sonido user in existence, although there are likely indeed still a few individuals faster than her yet. The use of Chiyoko’s sonido is a delicate balance between trained second nature technique and deliberate exertions of skill. As if her skill in mere Sonido weren’t enough by itself, Chiyoko also possesses natural catlike properties to her movements, which enhance her speed and overall maneuverability even further. These are as follows:

Superhuman Reflexes: In keeping with her superhuman speed, Chiyoko also possesses Superhuman Reflexes, and since her Pesquisa has been trained to the point of being second nature, it is therefore virtually impossible to launch a surprise attack on her, as she will virtually always be able to dodge it in time, having sensed the perpetrator’s presence long before they actually reach her. Chiyoko’s reflexes are quite literally fast enough to allow her to dodge a bullet, and she can dodge most attacks with the minimum amount of movement, meaning she can maintain her momentum while still successfully dodging whatever her opponents try to throw at her.

Enhanced Jump: Another amazing power that Chiyoko has is her sheer capability for making enormous leaps into the air. While normal cats are quite proficient at this, Chiyoko’s capability for it is truly superhuman, and could be said to rival flight in its capability, as the girl is literally able to leap miles up into the air and at a very high velocity when she does so, often leaving large craters behind where she had jumped off from due to the force of her pressing off the ground.

Inhuman Flexibility: Chiyoko’s capacity for flexibility surpasses basically any contortionist, and the girl will often use this power to mock her opponents by doing such things as fighting her foes with her feet as if they were fists while performing handstands, while still being able to move fast enough to fight properly. Chiyoko can contort her body into most any shape she can imagine, and both her knees and elbows are double jointed. Chiyoko is able to dislocate many of her joints at will giving her even further flexibility, and so conventional restraints like ropes and handcuffs are usually completely ineffective against her.

Perfect Equilibrium: The balancing center inside Chiyoko’s brain is far more tuned than is normal for a human, shinigami, or other Arrancar. Chiyoko has shown herself able to perform amazing acrobatic feats and always maintain perfect balance, and when falling from great heights or after being knocked backwards from an attack, Chiyoko will always right herself and land perfectly on her feet to reduce the damage to the minimum possible level. She can achieve a state of perfect balance no matter what the position her body is in, having trained herself over centuries, as well as just possessing a great natural talent for it.

– Gemelos Sonido [Sound Twins]: Sonido is an instinctual, high-speed movement performed by Arrancar. Zommari Rureaux can increase the number of steps in his normal movement to increase his speed to the point where he can leave afterimages of himself that can act as clones. The maximum number of clones he can create, using this technique is five and they are realistic enough to fool opponents as they can bleed when wounded. This technique is often used to distract and subsequently surprise an opponent. While Zommari claimed that this technique made him the fastest Espada, this was likely simply boasting on his part, and the higher ranked espada could have likely performed the technique as well if they truly wanted to. In any case, Chiyoko too has learned to use this ability, and in fact is even more proficient with it than Zommari was. While he could only produce a maximum of five clones at a time, Chiyoko is capable of producing many more than this, although she usually limits herself to producing only nine of them so that she doesn’t tire herself out too much by trying to maintain too many clones at once.

– Etereo Sonido [Ethereal Sound]: Beyond having simply mastered Gemelos Sonido, Chiyoko was able to invent another, even more powerful version of the technique, which she calls Etereo Sonido. When using this technique, Chiyoko will essentially move so incredibly quickly that she becomes invisible, her movements of running around in every which direction, literally bouncing off walls with movements that are essentially entirely unpredictable meaning it is virtually impossible to tell where she is at any given time, and therefore, extremely difficult to defend against her attacks. Chiyoko has claimed this technique to be an ultimate assassination move; one that even rivals the Shinigami’s own advanced stepping form, Shunko in its sheer deadly power. This technique takes the normal Sonido movements to a whole other level, by first imbuing them with the kind of concussive energy that is normally released during a bala attack, as well as using the Sonido with the added bala energy with not just the feet, but the hands as well, which allow the user to press off of walls at rapid speed, bounce all around, and just generally move with an incredible amount of speed that even Stepping masters in their races respective versions of the art will have trouble even being able to see. Due to the incredibly high speed that Chiyoko is moving, and the virtually constant release of small bala-type pulses, the entire ground in whatever area Chiyoko is moving in will seem to glow with an ethereal purple energy, although this is really just the energy of the countless reiatsu infused steps that blurs together as she moves. What’s more, whenever Chiyoko speaks while using this technique, it is virtually impossible to tell where she is, as her voice sounds as if it is coming from every direction, and sounds rather ghostly when she does so. Still, this technique is not without its drawbacks, as the constant release of bala type pulses needed to boost the user’s speed, dramatically raise the energy consumption of the technique, and so, even with her enormous amount of spiritual energy, at present Chiyoko is only able to maintain her Etereo Sonido form for a maximum of [] posts with a cooldown of [] posts.

Hierro [Iron]: The user’s Reiryoku condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakutō. This allows user to confront some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. While this technique is exhibited by all Arrancar to some degree, the strength of an individuals’s Hierro is entirely proportional to the potency of their Reiryoku, with Nnoitra Gilga possessing the self-proclaimed strongest Hierro out of all generations of the Espada. However, it is unknown if such claims were true, given that Nnoitra was outranked by five Espada of higher power and a former third Espada injured him without complication. Although Hierro can defend against the attacks of a released Zanpaku-to, 11th Division Captain Kenpachi Zaraki discovered he could cut Nnoitra’s body in spite of it by adapting to the latter’s Reiatsu. Chiyoko isn’t actually very proficient with this ability at all, openly admitting that she has neglected it in favor of training her especially strong Sonido instead.

Enhanced Pesquisa [Inquiry]: The practitioner sends out a radiating pulse which reacts to sources of Reiatsu within a certain proximity, allowing the practitioner to determined the location of any sensed individuals and gauge how powerful they actually are. When the ability was performer by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquex and his Fraccion, each closed their eyes and entered into a meditative state in order to attain the necessary heightened sense of awareness.

Out of all of those who have used the technique, including two other members of the Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer has proven to be the most adept with it, precisely determining the level of an opponents Reiatsu with a mere glance. Despite this, the Sonido of Zangetsu strangely allowed him to pass through Ulquiorra’s Pesquisa without him noticing. Chiyoko’s own skill with this technique is impressive, and she is able to easily determine an opponent’s level of strength with it, even from long range, and without needing to really focus hard to use it. Due to her training in Ninjutsu, Chiyoko has trained her Pesquisa to the point that it is essentially always active, being entirely passive and second nature to her, and as a result of this, sneaking up on her is virtually impossible.

– Indice Radar [Mark Radar]: A technique originally invented by Nnoitra Gilga, the user performs the technique by thrusting their index finger into a grounded surface, they then generate a luminous trail with their Reiatsu [so, naturally, Chiyoko’s is indigo], which rapidly extends outwards in the direction of another individual’s Reiatsu. Once the trail is connected to the desired target or targets, they can then use it to discern their general location and accurately gauge the amount of Reiryoku said person possesses, even if they are attempting to cloak it.

Descorre [Drawing Back]r: Arrancar and Hollows use special, spiritual pathways to travel between Hueco Mundo and other worlds. These pathways are called Garganta. Espada-level Arrancar can easily open these pathways between the World of the Living and Hueco Mundo with a simple hand gesture. The Garganta created using Descorrer are a lot more stable than those produced by lower-level Hollows, and allow Arrancar to simply walk into the void created. The Garganta created with this neatly close around them before opening at their destination. Chiyoko’s Descorrer is, like everything else about her, especially speedy, and in its motions and appearance very closely resembles a mouth quickly opening only to slam shut again. Chiyoko trained hers to do this so that in the event a situation turned sour, she could instantaneously open a garganta and immediately enter it and close it behind her, making any attempts at pursuing her much more difficult.

– Garganta Broadcast: Ulquiorra can create a visual broadcast, similar to a television screen, using individual Garganta portals. He uses this technique to show the current predicament of Orihime’s friends [Ichigo, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and Rangiku Matsumoto] fighting their respective battles. Chiyoko has also proven able to use this technique, and will often utilize it as a means of discretely observing and learning about potential opponents.

Bala [Bullet]: While similar in function to a Cero, a Bala is not nearly as powerful, but, thanks to its composition, its speed is 20 times faster, allowing it to be fired in quick succession. In addition, it possesses more concussive force than a typical Cero does. The overall speed and power of a Bala varies depending on the Arrancar using it, as for example, the power of Yammy Llargo’s version is equated with a particularly powerful punch, Ulquiorra Civer’s can blast large holes into an enemy’s body. Chiyoko’s own particular Bala is particularly fast like everything else about her, being difficult to even see at times, and naturally is indigo in color, in keeping with the girl’s color of Reiatsu.

Chiyoko also fires hers in a unique way, by first cupping her hand with her fingers separated, like she was about to claw someone, and then, she makes a slashing motion with her hands, the initial bala, if her opponent is perceptive enough to be able to even see it, being formed within her hand and held there like a baseball before being thrown like a fastball pitch. By making a rapid series of slashes, Chiyoko is capable of firing off huge numbers of Bala at once, although she is also capable of simply cupping her hand and holding it in place out in front of her, then firing off a sort of barrage of them.

– Espiritu Bala [Spirit Bullet]: An enhanced version of a normal Bala, this technique took Chiyoko quite a time before she was able to create and eventually master it, as it is rather difficult to control properly, and requires a very high degree of precision and focus to utilize properly. Essentially it fires a Bala that while not actually any stronger than a normal one, has the major advantage of being able to have its trajectory actually controlled after it has been fired via hand gestures similar to a conductor controlling an orchestra. Since the Bala are capable of changing direction completely after being fired, they are considerably harder to dodge, making the technique far more effective. Still, while certainly a useful technique, it is not without its disadvantages. First, to create an Espiritu Bala capable of being controlled, Chiyoko is required to use up not terribly more, but still a notably higher amount of reiatsu for each bala she forms. They can still be spammed like normal Bala can, but she has to be much more careful about doing so due to the higher energy consumption.

Second, as a necessity of allowing them to be controlled properly, Espiritu Bala are considerably slower than a normal Bala is, only being charged and then fired at 15 times the speed of a Cero as opposed to the normal 20. Finally, since the Espiritu Bala rely on hand gestures to control their movements, any sort of strategy which disables Chiyoko’s ability to use her hands, such as pressure point blows, paralyzing poison, a strong enough electrocution, or simply restraining her somehow, such as with a Bakudo spell, will disable her ability to control their trajectory, and they will just fly off wildly into the distance towards whatever direction they were pointed when her control over them ceased.

Cero [Zero]: The practitioner fires a powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy at the target. While in most cases it is fired from the mouth, some Arrancar and Vizard can fire the Cero from their hands, fingers, and other parts of their bodies. This often requires the user to take a specific pose, with Coyote Starrk being the only exception.

The power, force, speed, and blast area of the Cero is dependent on the strength, spiritual power, and sometimes skill of the user [i.e., the stronger the user, the stronger the attack], and there are some Arrancar who have come up with their own variation of Cero. The charging and firing time for Cero varies greatly, from charging relatively fast to firing it to instantaneously firing it without much charging. Despite the damage it can cause at long-range distances, Love Aikawa states the damage, which a Cero causes as an explosion is more dangerous when used at close range.

Chiyoko’s own Cero is naturally indigo in color in keeping with the color of her Reiatsu. It is also, while not particularly more powerful than a normal Cero would be, notably fast just as everything else about her is. Lastly, Chiyoko’s particular style of firing her Cero is, like many arrancar, to do so from her mouth, usually doing it in the form of a roar.

– Gran Rey Cero [Grand King Zero]: A technique originally invented and utilized by Aizen’s Espada, the technique allows the user to mix their own blood with a normal Cero, and in doing so, can create a Cero with exponentially greater attack power and speed. Chiyoko’s own Gran Rey Cero is still indigo in color, although it is a much deeper, and somewhat darker shade of it than her normal one. This Cero is so powerful that as it is fired, it disturbs the fabric of space itself as it flies through the air, and upon release, will spin like a razor as it compresses and decompresses wildly due to the sheer speed and raw power of the technique. Chiyoko, who has shown herself able to use this technique, has therefore shown that she has the potential to be an Espada-level fighter. What’s more, whereas most Gran Rey Cero are fired from the hand, hers is, like her normal Cero, fired from her mouth instead, and she will usually get the necessary blood for it by lightly biting her tongue.

– Cero Sincretico [Synchronized Zero]: A technique originally invented by the Fraccion of Neliel Tu Odelschwanck, Pesche Guatiche and Dondochakka Birstanne, Chiyoko is able to perform this technique as well, having trained to combine her own Cero with that of her partner, Estomago, the bag-like Arrancar that she carries around with her everywhere. When they perform the technique, Chiyoko will charge up her normal indigo colored Cero while Estomago will charge up his gold colored one, and the two Cero will form as balls in front of their respective creators before bolts of lightning will connect the two and they will then quickly float towards one another and mix, the indigo and gold energy swirling together in one giant ball before the technique is finally fired off. In addition to combining this with her normal Cero, Chiyoko is also capable of combining it with her Gran Rey Cero as well, although Estomago, being not nearly as strong as she is, isn’t able to give the technique too much of a boost.

• Unique Abilities:

Ladron de Guante Blanco [Cat Burglar]: This ability has two main parts, or more accurately, applications, which although similar in concept and mechanics, both have a few key differences. In essence this ability allows Chiyoko a capacity for Shapeshifting to produce disguises for use in deception and especially any jobs in which infiltration is required. The two applications are as follows:

– Chiyoko has the ability to transform herself into the form of a very small cat-type animal arrancar about the size of an 8-week old kitten, similar to Yammy’s dog Kukkapuro. Like the aforementioned dog arrancar, in this form Chiyoko appears to be nothing more than a very weak arrancar animal, and in fact has a full mask while in this form, which appears as the skull of a cat over her face. While in this form Chiyoko still has two tails like she does in her ressureccion form, and her body is completely black. The main advantage and ability that Chiyoko possesses while in this state is that she is able to very precisely control her Reiatsu, suppressing down either so low that one would think she is only a weak animal completely incapable of posing any threat or even completely so that by conventional Reiatsu sensing abilities at least, she is completely undetectable. While in this form, Chiyoko is able to use her arrancar abilities, but doing so requires that she unmask her Reiatsu, and so in doing this she will give herself away. The one exception to this is her Pesquisa, which Chiyoko is still able to use without revealing herself. A note on this ability is that when Chiyoko activates it, the reishi comprising her clothing will be broken down and absorbed into her body, and will then reform into its original state when she changes back. This way she isn’t left standing nude every time after using this ability like Yoruichi is when leaving her own cat form.

– The second application of this ability is that Chiyoko is able to transform herself into false version of any of the other races, whether it be Shinigami, Human, or even Quincy, and in doing so, will take on their basic appearance, including how her Reiatsu appears when probed by others, as well as being able to be seen by non-spiritually aware people for the human races. This ability does not actually give her the abilities of any of those races however, so while she may be able to transform herself so that she appears as a quincy, she will not be able to form and shoot arrows, or if she transforms herself into a shinigami, she will not be able to do any kido spells, and while she will possess a sword that resembles a zanpaku-to, Chiyoko even being able to channel her Reiatsu into it, it will not have any releases, and in fact won’t even be nearly as hard as a real zanpaku-to would be. This means that Chiyoko has to be very, very careful about how she plays things when using this ability, as if its discovered that she can’t use any of the abilities members of that race would normally possess, the people around her will get suspicious very, very quickly. One thing Chiyoko can do in this form is control her clothes, being able to change the appearance of the clothing that she’s wearing. Also, while not as good as her cat form, while using this Chiyoko also has a better capacity for controlling her Reiatsu, able to make herself appear far weaker than she actually is to help explain why she’s so deficient in the abilities of that race. While in the false form, Chiyoko does still have access to her Arrancar abilities, but using any of them will instantly dispel the technique, reverting her back into an Arrancar upon their activation. Again, as with her cat transformation, the one and only exception to this is her Pesquisa, which Chiyoko can still use in her false race forms. Also, so that she is actually taken seriously while using it, this ability gives Chiyoko the power to control her apparent age, so she can appear as a full-grown woman, an elderly version of herself, or hell, if she really wanted to, although she likely wouldn’t, even an infant. Technically speaking, Chiyoko is also capable of performing this while remaining an arrancar for the purpose of changing her apparent age, and when she does so her clothing will change size to match.

Infortunio [Misfortune]: One of the unique abilities that Chiyoko possesses, and truly an odd one for sure. This ability operates on mechanics very similar to the manner in which Quincy gather reishi from their surrounding environment to fuel their attacks, only instead of gathering simple Reiatsu, when Chiyoko chooses to activate this ability, and it is something that has to be activated, as keeping active all the time could potentially be quite dangerous, Chiyoko will begin to absorb a very unique and rather abstract kind of supernatural energy from any and all living beings around her, unless she specifically chooses to exclude one from its influence. To be specific, Chiyoko will absorb the “fortune” that is the luck, from living beings around her, gradually decreasing their luck, while increasing her own.

As a result of this ability, during a fight when Chiyoko activates it, her opponents will experience various instances of bad luck, while Chiyoko will experience good luck. The effects aren’t too severe, as luck is a rather abstract concept and depending on the circumstances, it can often be very limited what the ability is able to do for her, but still, this ability gives Chiyoko an added edge that really does help in a pinch, and has managed to save her life many times during her long life.

To provide some clarity on how this ability works, here are some examples of various effects that it could have, “A quincy archer is walking through the tall, almost mountain-like sand dunes of Hueco Mundo, on the hunt for any potential Hollow prey. Suddenly, he spots one, and drawing his quincy cross, aims his bow at her, but unbeknownst to him, the hollow in question, an arrancar, has already sensed his presence with her Pesquisa, and had activated an ability as a defense mechanism to protect herself from his impending attack. Just as the Quincy was about to fire, the sand beneath his feet gave way, sending him flat on his ass sliding down the tall dune he had been standing on. His clothes now dirty and looking like a total idiot, he, while not hurt, had taken a severe blow to his pride, and in the meantime the arrancar girl had managed to get away.”

Being as they are simply luck, the effects of the ability are completely random and unpredictable, and once it is activated, Chiyoko doesn’t actually have any control over what form its effects will take. Chiyoko has trained with this ability over the years, and has found that although she can’t control what form the luck takes, there are still a few different things she can do with the ability. First, Chiyoko is able, if she chooses, to convert the gained fortune into Reiatsu to boost her own strength temporarily, of course doing this sacrifices the luck used for the change, and so she will no longer experience the added luck effects when she does it. Also, fortune doesn’t actually contain that much energy in the first place, so the amount of Reiatsu she can create to boost herself by doing this is very limited, usually only raising her up a single tier [so if she were at the 2-3 tier, she would have the Reiatsu of a 2-3+]. The second thing that she can do with the fortune is that Chiyoko is able to actually bestow it to an ally, raising their luck and granting them its effects instead.

Finally, to ensure that this ability is played fairly and does not become too powerful in-game or risk god-moding, it will basically work on an honor system. I will only control the “good luck” side of the ability, that is the good things that happen to Chiyoko herself to protect her from an opponent’s attacks, while the opponent will control the “bad luck” side, deciding if and when the ability will take effect on their character. The effects are random, but are equivalent to a very low ranking technique at the most in what they can do.

Alma de la Gato [Cat’s Soul]: The last unique ability that Chiyoko possesses, and one she even had all the way back when she was still alive, this power being what saved her from being devoured completely when the Wolf Hollow that attacked her severed her from her body. In essence, Chiyoko possesses the ability to both telepathically empathize with, as well as communicate with felines of any kind. This is usually used on feline hollows, however it works on anything feline really, from normal, living house cats, to any Arrancar with a feline Ressureccion [Ex: Grimmjow], and though this last application is far more difficult to achieve, even feline Zanpaku-to spirits such as Rangiku Matsumoto’s Haineko. It should be noted however that while the entities effected by this ability will usually feel a sort of kinship with Chiyoko, that is, an instinctual desire to protect and aide her, it is just that, instinct, and can be easily ignored if the entity chooses. As such, any aide that the entity affected gives to Chiyoko still has to be completely voluntary, and it is NOT mind control. It should also be noted that this instinct to aid and protect goes both ways, and Chiyoko herself feels it just as much as they do.

Chiyoko will just naturally feel the emotions of any cats in her surrounding area, and is fully capable of communicating with them. She uses this ability to tame and call these creatures to her aide in times of need, although it should be noted that this ability is not without its price, and looking at its severity, one could wonder if the power is really worth it at all. This is because Chiyoko has to be extremely cautious about when she chooses to use it due to the fact that in addition to feeling the emotions of any cats in her surroundings, Chiyoko also feels their pain. So, in the event that any feline of any of the types listed above is harmed in her presence, Chiyoko will feel the cat’s pain in the form of a sort of psychic bolt that acts like a usually brief, but debilitating migraine which will stun her momentarily, at least one post, more depending on the severity of the injury, thereby giving opponents an opening to attack her.

In addition, while the severity of the migraine as well as its duration varying depending on the severity of the injury inflicted, in the event that a cat should be injured to the point of actually dying in her presence, the pain that Chiyoko feels from this becomes so extreme that the resulting shock will knock her unconscious. Since this ability is completely passive and is ALWAYS active, Chiyoko has absolutely no way of protecting herself from this side effect, and so it is a reliably consistent weakness that she has, one she has of yet been unable to overcome. Considering this, although she will sometimes do it, Chiyoko is extremely cautious about using this ability in battle situations due to how easily it could backfire on her, and so will generally only do it as a means of communication, or in battle if she is absolutely positive that the felines coming to her aid are strong enough to defeat the opponent she is sending them against.

• Martial Arts Skills: Although she has not yet had a formal teacher, Chiyoko has trained herself in Martial Arts quite extensively by observing classes going on inside various Martial Arts dojos around her home country of Japan. As such she has learned a variety of different martial arts styles, which she utilizes by combining them into her own unique style, just as many modern mixed martial arts fighters do. The styles that Chiyoko has learned include essentially Japanese styles and a few others that are compatible with someone of her small size and stature, and are also focused on generally dealing knock out blows very, very quickly.

In addition to having learned and observed many conventional Martial Arts techniques, Chiyoko has also been able to learn and observe virtually all of the basic Hakuda techniques as well during her many run-ins with soul reapers.

Hakuda Techniques:

– Ikkotsu: A powerful, one handed punch strong enough to send some opponents flying through buildings.

– Sokotsu: Stronger than Ikkotsu, it is a powerful two-fisted punch that, in one blow, can cause decimating and devastating damage to a weaker opponent.

– Raioken: A Hakuda technique involving a serial of rapid punches strong enough to destroy a portion of Karakura Town.

– Sandbag Beat: A technique where one delivers multiple strikes at an extremely fast pace causing aggravated damage to a target. The technique is powerful enough to not only shatter a Menos Grandes's mask but utterly destroy its body.

– Kazaguruma: A technique where one throws their body up into the air, making a shearing movement with the legs to get one leg in froth of the other without holding not tot the ground. The move can either be done backwards or sideways. When the move is done with one leg high over the head to deliver a devastating blow to an opponent sending them flying away with tremendous force.

– Takigoi: A hakuda technique where one blocks the kicks of another opponent by trapping the opponents one foot against the forearm and blocking the other foot with the combatants foot. The move blocks and traps the opponent who is then open to an attack from the combatants free hand.

– Tensho: An open palm strike that can effortlessly shatter a Hollow's head to ices with a single strike.

• Skill Sets:

Master Thief: Chiyoko’s true talent, and what she has trained herself most in over the years, is her skill in thievery. Chiyoko knows essentially everything there is to know about stealing stuff, and there isn’t much more for her to learn besides continuously updating her knowledge of new security systems as they come out. Chiyoko will often confidently boast that she is one of, if not the single greatest thieves in all of existence, being able to pull of jobs that to most would look like absolute suicide missions. Chiyoko is a master pickpocket, being able to steal things out of pockets without the victim even realizing anything happened because her hands are moved with such exacting precision and grace that they never actually pull on the pockets at all, but merely slide effortlessly into and then back out of them.

Apart from this, Chiyoko is also a master of pulling off even the most elaborate of heists, usually entirely by herself, well, besides Estomago, her constant companion. Upon entering a room Chiyoko will instantly scan it and is able to pick up on even the most minute details for the purpose of determining any and all security measures that may be in place, and in the event she should find one she isn’t familiar with, through careful observation of its mechanics, Chiyoko is usually able to figure out how it works, and therefore how to get around it.

Chiyoko is also very skilled in playing con games on people, being an extremely good and believable liar with a perfect poker face, she is able to put on acts and make up stories for the purpose of swindling people out of their hard earned cash, or simply lowering their guard so she can rob them.

– Ninjutsu Master: Of all the martial arts that Chiyoko has learned, by far the one that she is most proficient with is Ninjutsu, or the art of the ninja. Chiyoko spent many years observing ninja villages and their very elaborate training techniques, then using them herself. Even after real ninjutsu has mostly died out, Chiyoko still keeps its tradition alive, incorporating more modern espionage and stealth techniques like those used by spies in the modern world, which are essentially today’s ninjas. Ninjutsu is not like other martial arts in that it is not just one single set of techniques, but actually involves a whole wide range of different kinds of techniques. There is taijutsu, which is techniques for unarmed combat, various styles for the various kinds of weapons that are used, techniques for disguising oneself, techniques for escapology, and even techniques for things as advanced as mind manipulation, producing rudimentary illusions through the exploitation of the human mind’s natural weaknesses.

Genius Intellect: While she only received a true formal education relatively recently, Chiyoko has been using her intellect to instruct herself on a wide variety of subjects for a great many years, mostly as simply as a way to pass the time. Chiyoko has educated herself in a wide variety of subjects, reading many books, having even fully memorized many of the canon classics. Really it is to be expected of the girl that she’ll be smart considering how old she is, being over 1000-years-old naturally gives a person plenty of time to whittle away the hours and Chiyoko chose to spend much of this time training herself, which included training her mind to the pinnacle of its possible performance.

– Master Strategist & Tactician: Having studied both many major texts as well as secretly observed the events of wars, hidden in the shadows, Chiyoko has been a silent observer through many of history’s greatest conflicts. What’s more, she herself once led an entire pride of other feline hollows that experienced great success until finally being defeated by the insurmountable gap in power between a mere menos and an Arrancar. Still, in the years since, Chiyoko has intensified her training, and this includes her skills in strategy as well. She is able to very quickly read an opponent and determine a list of basic information on them based on their basic body gestures and other signals, and after doing this, will just naturally devise a list of possible strategums for combating that person, usually honing in on whatever she thinks is their biggest and most exposed weakness, and exploiting it expertly.

Enhanced Pain Resistance: As a result of the experience she had to go through to evolve into a Vasto Lorde, in which after a horde of Arrancar led by Coyote Starrk massacred nearly half of Chiyoko’s large pride, and left the rest heavily wounded, all of them at least partially consumed, Chiyoko, who through the potentially fatal drawback of her Alma de la Gato ability was forced to experience all of their pain until it simply became too much for her and she passed out. After the battle was over Starrk awakened her and explained that if she wanted to save her friends she would have to consume them to prevent them from devolving, after the remaining members of her pride begged her to do so, Chiyoko agreed, and began slowly eating them one by one. The problem with her doing this is that because of her Alma de la Gato ability, Chiyoko feels the pain of any felines in her surrounding area, and so each and every time she took a bite out of one of her comrades, she felt a sharp bolt of pain in her head like a migraine. This would continue happening, over and over and over again with each bite she took, until eventually when they finally died of their wounds the pain would become so great that she would pass out. Then, when she woke up, she would repeat the process over again, and did so for days on end, torturing herself until she had finally consumed the last of her pride mates. Naturally, as a result of having gone through this experience, Chiyoko is a great deal more resistant to pain than she used to be, and can take most damage without even flinching, since compared to what she’s already had to endure, most wounds she incurs are nothing in comparison.

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4479-1

• Resereccion Name: Doble Cola Gato [Twin Tailed Cat]

• Resereccion Release Phrase: Purr

• Release Actions: To release her Zanpaku-to, Chiyoko first has to be wearing her gloves that comprise its sealed form, and then, she will hold out both arms diagonally and downward, while cupping her hands with her claws bared as if she were going to slash something, and then, in one fell motion, she slashes upward with both clawed hands, flattening them out as she does so and when they come together over her chest, her left hand being crossed over her right, upon the two coming into contact and enormous pillar of Chiyoko’s full reiatsu will shoot up into the sky.

While ordinarily Chiyoko’s reiatsu is well controlled and usually suppressed, when she releases her Zanpaku-to it truly gets released in its full glory, there being a great many bursts of deep purple and black light shooting up and off of the pillar of light rising from her, and in addition there appear to be wailing faces and spectral phantoms visible within the pillar of reiatsu, ascending it in a spiral as they all travel upwards. Finally, after a few seconds, the pillar dies down, revealing Chiyoko in her ressureccion form.

• Resereccion Appearance: In Chiyoko’s Ressureccion, she takes on the properties of a nekomata, a type of cat yokai from Japanese Mythology. In accordance with this, Chiyoko grows two long, bushy tails, both of which are a full eight feet in length, more than twice the length of Chiyoko’s entire body from head to toe. The ear-shaped tufts in her hair transform into actual ears, and her uniform also transforms quite a bit. Chiyoko’s black camisole undershirt extends down to cover her as a dress with a short, but wide skirt with another white underskirt underneath that. Her previously quite poofy harem-style pants tighten around her legs becoming skintight, and gaining black lines, which run down their sides.

The fur trimmed coat that Chiyoko wears remains, although the fur trimming grows longer, especially on the collar, the fur there growing much longer, especially in the back, rising up and forming a high collar that extends all the way around Chiyoko’s entire head, although it is less tall on the sides to allow for her to still be able to see to either side of herself without having her vision blocked by it.

Then, on both Chiyoko’s hands and feet, much longer furry ones respectively replace her gloves and shoes. For the gloves, which are already covered in fur, they lengthen greatly, extending all the way to her upper arm before the metal band that was previously seen in their sealed form cuts them off by securing them tightly to her arms. Then, over the tops of her fingers, small overlapping metal plates with tiny forward facing blades extend out. These connect to the metal plate over the back of the hand, which also gains a third metal blade extending out of it, all of them being much longer now. Past that on her forearms are long metal vambrace plates with three metal bands securing them to the top of her forearms, and extending outward from each of those bands is another metal blade, these being much longer [think batman]. She gains a metal elbow guard, which has a metal spike on it, and then on her shoulders she also has metal, specifically overlapping samurai-style spaulders, again with blades coming out of them, two out of each segment.

On her legs, Chiyoko’s shoes also turn into completely black, fur covered boots which rise to Chiyoko’s upper calves, ending in metal bands just like the ones on the ends of her long gloves. The metal plate, which previously covered the tops of Chiyoko’s toes, shortens, rounding off, but then gains five claw likes blade protrusions, which extend from each one. Extending back from that are overlapping metal plates forming a full sabaton, or plate armor shoe, with there being fur sticking out from underneath each overlapping plate.

Finally, the remains of her Hollow Mask, which was previously just a necklace worn around her neck, changes greatly, the necklace now transforming to have alternating beads of the usual spherical bone variety seen in her sealed state, as well as long fangs positioned at every other bead. As for the lower cat jaw that was previously seen on the necklace, it has now risen to take its place back on Chiyoko’s face, and along with it, there is also an upper jaw portion covering everything below Chiyoko’s eyes and nose, with its sides covering her cheeks completely, these two pieces in unison allowing her to bite down on enemies quite effectively with the two components to deal quite a bit of damage.

• Resereccion Abilities:

Augmented Abilities: As is to be expected of a Resureccion like Chiyoko’s that is focused primarily around physical combat, once it is activated, all of her physical abilities, her strength, durability, and even her already godly fast speed are elevated well beyond their normal limits. In this form, Chiyoko’s strength is such that her slashes will usually tear opponents clean open, if not tear them into multiple pieces, and her hierro, which was not terribly great, is at least now somewhat more passable, allowing her to tank hits that would have left her seriously wounded before, and finally, her speed, which was already incredible, is boosted even further, allowing her to run circles around all but the very best speed users, and even then, she will usually give them a run for their money.

Fantasma [Phantom]: This is the main ability of Chiyoko’s ressureccion, and is by far the one she is most proficient with, since she has had some version of this ability since she was an Unclassified hollow. In simplistic terms, this ability is the power of Intangibility, that is, the power to phase through solid objects. In many mythologies of the world, including those of Japan where Chiyoko is from, cats were said to possess the ability to take on some of the properties of spirits. In Chiyoko’s case, this includes the ability to phase herself through anything solid. While this ability is very useful in combat, its greatest use comes in Chiyoko’s favorite obsession of thievery. After all, all security systems somehow depend on keeping valuable objects where any potential thieves can’t get at them, but for a person with the power of intangibility, any such measures are completely useless. There are very few substances that Chiyoko can’t phase herself through, one of the only ones she knows of being the Sekiseki stone that the walls protecting the Seireitei are made from.

Chiyoko’s Fantasma power operates based on a Law of Physics called “Pauli’s Exclusion Principle” which is what normally keeps matter from passing through other matter when they come into contact. As anyone who has taken High School Science knows, matter is actually mostly empty space, however it is usually kept separate from any matter that runs into it because of the repulsive properties of its magnetism [objects with the same kind of charge repel each other, and electrons, which form the outer layers of an atom, possess a negative charge. While protons possess a positive charge that attracts the electrons, and indeed, sometimes electrons are known to jump from one atom to another, the negative charge of the electrons causes the atoms to repel one another]. According to “Pauli’s Exclusion Principle” no two pieces of matter with the same characteristics can occupy the same space at the same time, however there is a loophole in this law in that the two pieces of matter trying to pass through one another are only repelled if they are of the same type [I.E. Atoms trying to pass through other atoms]. Matter of different types is indeed able to pass through, although with some resistance. This is why objects are able to retain heat, because the heat, I.E. thermal radiation, is occupying the space of that object.

Chiyoko’s power allows her to transform the reishi of her body into a unique form of matter that for the sake of simplicity will simply be referred to as “intangible matter.” This matter is arranged differently on a sub-atomic level although in appearance and most other ways it is the same as reishi. There are however a few key differences between the two that differentiate them, first off, while reishi and atoms are indeed different kinds of matter, they usually can’t pass through one another due to, in a similar way to oil and water, not mixing well, and being known to react violently if such a mix is actually forced, intangible matter is able to pass through either without difficulty, although there is some degree of resistance, Chiyoko’s passing through it usually being akin to swimming through water. The amount of resistance presented is dependent on both the density and atomic number, or reishi equivalent [the atomic number of an element is the number of electrons present inside a single atom of that type of matter, this being what determines where it is placed on the periodic table] of whatever substance she is attempting to phase through. A very important thing to note is that while Chiyoko’s power protects her from most of the force dealt by physical blows, it does not protect her from all of it, as the resistance presented by the two types of matter passing through each other will indeed allow a fraction of the kinetic force to be transferred into her body. This force is dealt as a combination, no matter the type of physical attack, of mostly blunt, but also very limited internal damage.

Another important thing to note is that while Chiyoko’s power protects her mostly from physical blows, it does not however offer any protection at all from energy attacks of any kind. Energy attacks will affect Chiyoko just the same as they would a tangible person, so the power is not useful in defending against these types of attacks.

The transformation into intangible matter always starts at the same place in her body, this being the base of her brain, where said organ connects to her spinal column. It will take the form of a pulse that begins there and then travels outward. To be exact it will travel from there down her spine, and out through her nerves to whatever part or parts of her body she wants to turn intangible. It should be noted that this presents another weakness for the technique, that since it operates via her nervous system, anything which can attack that such as electricity, pressure point blows, or paralyzing poison [Ex: the poison produced Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s zanpaku-to], will either disrupt or completely disable her ability to use it.

In any case, another important thing to note is that Chiyoko’s power does not only affect herself, for once the reaction reaches the surface of her skin, the transformation into intangible matter is able to be extended into intangible matter into anything she is in physical contact [as if she couldn’t, her clothes would all fall off the second she used it], even including the air around her [otherwise she wouldn’t be able to breathe as long as she was using the technique]. Chiyoko can turn other people intangible as well, however there is a downside to this aspect of her power. One of the differences between normal reishi and intangible matter is that intangible matter is unnatural, and like a bound spring, the matter in her body and outside of it that she is keeping intangible naturally wants to transform back into tangible matter, which is at a lower energy state. Therefore, to keep herself and anything else she has turned intangible in that state, Chiyoko must continuously feed it her Reiatsu, and so, the more matter she keeps intangible, and the longer she does so, the more of her Reiatsu gets eaten up by the ability. As such, she has to be very careful not to overuse it, lest she end up unable to do so, or for that matter, any of her other abilities at all, which would leave her completely defenseless.

Once Chiyoko is ready to turn tangible again, a pulse is emitted from the same place that the transformation first started, the base of her brain, which travels outward through her body and then through anything else she has turned intangible, pushing the air that is currently occupying its space out so that she and those objects have the actual room to turn tangible again. Although people don’t often think of it as such, air is technically matter, and so for Chiyoko to be able to turn tangible, she needs a viable way of moving the air occupying the space where her body is away so that she can do so. In the event that Chiyoko is actually inside something when the transformation is attempted, after the pulse is unable to move the substance out of the way, she will be propelled towards whatever the nearest point where that object she inside connects to the surface, at which point another pulse will be emitted and she will turn tangible once again. This is accomplished through the potential energy that is built up as she travels further and further into that object being converted into kinetic energy, which will always propel her at the top speed she would move as if she were utilizing her sonido.

– Vacio Sonido [Vacuum Sound]: This is a special form of Sonido which Chiyoko is only able to perform in her Ressureccion state due to it requiring the use of her Fantasma ability to utilize. Essentially what it consists of is combining her already incredibly fast Sonido with her Fantasma ability so that the air around her passes right through her as she travels, thereby completely eliminating all air resistance, which is one of the biggest drags on the speed of any speedster. Chiyoko of course has to hold her breath while using this technique, and due to the incredibly high speeds she attains while using it, it is extremely difficult to control, and can only be utilized for dashes in a straight line, but it is powerful enough that in the course of only a few seconds at the most, Chiyoko is able to use it, she claims, to travel from any point on a planet to any other point on that planet with such speed that she virtually appears to be teleporting. Even with the virtually nulled air resistance, the incredible speeds that Chiyoko attains while using this ability mean that after she’s finished running, an enormous sonic boom powerful enough to create hurricane force winds will travel behind her, and will usually blow away pretty much anything in its path. What’s more, when Chiyoko actually takes a step while using this technique, the friction created by it is so great that it will turn virtually any surface she steps on completely molten.

Torcido Garra [Furious Claw]: When this technique is used, Chiyoko will focus her Reiatsu into her hands, causing an indigo-colored second skin to grow over them. This Reiatsu will then condense around each hand to become extremely dense, forming gloves similar to those of her Zanpaku-to’s sealed form with one very glaring difference. Chiyoko already has claws in her Resurrección form, but when this technique is activated, her claws grow extremely long, around two feet each in length, each one being straight, resembling a sword in appearance. Here’s a picture of what they look like [imagine this except made out of reiatsu]:
Spoiler:

Agujas de Cabello [Hair Needles]: When agitated or threatened, or simply as an offensive maneuver, Chiyoko is able to grow long, quill like hairs from within the fur on her body. These hars are extremely sharp, and she can use them either defensively similar to how a porcupine would, or offensively as weapons. Examples of possible uses for them would be growing a bunch on her back and then curling up to defend herself to make it difficult to attack her without getting stabbed, or growing many of them on the ends of her tail to turn the tail itself into a sort of spiked mace that she can swing around and gore opponents with.

– Pelo Rocie [Hair Spray]: Used as a follow-up technique to Agujas de Cabello, once the needle-like hairs have been grown and extended outward, Chiyoko is then able to use this technique to launch them through the air at a very high velocity. When launched, the hairs glow with Chiyoko’s indigo Reiatsu, and a short indigo tail travels behind them. There are a variety of methods in which this attack can be used, but Chiyoko’s personal favorite way to use it is to swing either one or both of her tails and launch a wave of the hairs in an arc straight outward. Once launched the hair needles move at approximately half the speed of a Bala.

Armamento Pelo [Hair Weaponry]: Another follow up technique to Agujas de Cabello, with this technique, Chiyoko is able to greatly expand the size of one or a few of her needles at a time, and is then able to control them to produce a variety of effects that allow her to turn them into weapons she can use in battle when her claws aren’t enough to get her by. These hair weapons are not to be taken likely, and are easily as hard as an unsealed zanpaku-to and can even go up against some lower-level weapon-type shikai. Essentially, after first performing the technique, whichever needle Chiyoko has chosen to grow further will do so, and can then be made to do a variety of different things.

For example, one of the simplest things she can do with the needles is to flatten them out and give them an edge to form a blade. In this way, she is easily able to make weapons like makeshift swords and spears for her to use when she needs to. She can also bend the needles, allowing her to make things like scythes and even axes. Next she can also split the needles, allowing her to form things like tridents easily, although when she does this, the split portions will be that much thinner than the full-sized needle. Finally, Chiyoko is also able to grow out hairs without hardening them, and can even weave multiple hairs and needles together, which allows her to form things like bullwhips, which she can use to great effect.

Panthers: This technique is essentially exactly the same as an analogous technique used by the former Primera Espada, Coyotte Starrk in his own Ressureccion form, in which Starrk would summon a very large pack of grey wolves. Chiyoko’s technique is essentially exactly the same, working on the same mechanics and having the same properties, the only difference being that instead of summoning grey wolves as Starrk did, Chiyoko summons black panthers. Starrk was able to summon literally hundreds of wolves with this technique, and while Chiyoko isn’t nearly as strong as he was, her panthers are larger than the wolves, and are therefore much stronger individually. Still, as a result of these two differences, their higher concentration of energy, and Chiyoko’s own lower supply of energy to work with, she can’t summon nearly as many of them, her absolute maximum being around 50, and doing so deplete her Reiatsu almost entirely. Still, in use the panthers are the same as the wolves, in that they will attempt to bite down on a target, and upon successfully doing so, will detonate in a massive explosion capable of dealing massive damage to even the hardiest of opponents.
Chiyoko’s panthers look like this:
Spoiler:

Sesion de Espiritismo [Seance]: This technique, a move of particularly insidious origin, allows Chiyoko to summon the spirits of defeated pluses that she has captured with the technique. Normally when a hollow consumes a soul, it is used as food and its energy is used to bolster their own, but with this ability, Chiyoko is able to selectively capture and store some of the souls that she defeats, and store them inside herself. Then, when she activates the ability, she can choose and summon any number of the spirits she has captured. There is a limit on the number of souls Chiyoko can store at any given time however, and currently she is only able to hold twelve souls at a time with the ability. It should be noted the souls captured with this have to be able to be completely dominated, and so anything higher than a 5-4 can’t be successfully captured. In any case, once captured, the plus souls are completely wiped of their memories and become blanks that are bound to Chiyoko’s own will. Still, they become a special kind of blank that when summoned, is constantly intangible, and can turn other things intangible as well upon touching them so as to be able to grasp objects. Another thing to note, the spirits summoned with this ability, while they lose their memories and personalities, do retain any skills they had in life, so if say Chiyoko captures a soul that was a professional boxer, the plus would still retain that skill after being captured. What’s more, the souls are able to, at Chiyoko’s command, actually possess any living humans, although only 6-0 humans are actually weak enough for this to work on. Once possessed the person too is bound to Chiyoko’s will, and will follow her commands, something that is useful in sticky situations.
Her ghosts look like this, a somewhat more realistic and slightly scarier take on the classical cloth ghost look:
Spoiler:

Colas Gemelas [Twin Tails]: While in her release form, Chiyoko possesses two tails, both of which are fully prehensile and able to grasp objects, similar to how those of many species of monkey can. This essentially gives Chiyoko two extra limbs to work with during a fight, a sizable advantage. The tails are covered in long, bushy fur, and are each eight feet in length, much longer than the rest of Chiyoko’s small body.

Chiyoko Fukui [APPROVED 1-2+/1-1 RELEASE] Image4481-1

• RP Sample: It seemed like she had been walking for days now, and perhaps she had. The child-sized Arrancar, Chiyoko Fukui, was currently on her way to Las Noches after 400 years since her last visit there. She had used her sonido, an advanced technique used by Arrancar like herself for moving at high speeds more much of the journey, but she was now too close to the fortress to use it. Looking at it from her position she was actually still quite far away, but Chiyoko knew how much tighter Las Noches’ security had gotten over the last 400 years. No longer was it the sitting duck that any group of random teenagers could just waltz into like it had been during Aizen’s reign. In fact one would almost think from how lax the security was that the former ruler actually planned for the place to get broken into.

These days however it was a whole other ballpark. Chiyoko had done her research on Las Noches and especially its leaders before making this trip and had found that the current Primera Espada, Rose Mischevang, of the infamous Mischevang family, was apparently a tech genius surpassing even Mayrui Kurotsuchi of the Gotei 13 in her sheer genius. No doubt Las Noches and the land surrounding it would be covered in security systems of all kinds. Chiyoko had transformed down into her cat form just in case using her Ladron de Guante Blanco ability, which allowed her to shapeshift. To all appearances, while in this form Chiyoko was nothing more than one of the countless weak hollow animals that scurried across the sands of Hueco Mundo. That was exactly the point of the technique. Chiyoko knew that included among Las Noches’ new security features were likely seismographic sensors placed within the ground.

These, famous for having been used to protect the American fortress Fort Knox centuries before, involved extremely finely tuned vibration sensors positioned underground that were sensitive enough to sense the footfalls of an approaching target and alert the security team that an intruder was approaching. Still, in this from however, they would just think she was just another tiny animal scampering across the sands, and not the greatest thief of all time about to take them for all they’re worth.

Still, that wasn’t all she had to deal with. Past that there were likely regular patrols nowadays that would scan the area surrounding the fortress to search for any potential intruders approaching it. Chiyoko would have to be careful and on the lookout for these, as things could get messy if they spotted her, even in her cat form. Those patrol guys were known to be somewhat trigger happy, and would often use the animal hollows for target practice to pass the time since they usually didn’t actually find anything of course.

Then, even if she actually managed to even make it to the fortress itself, she still had to get through its incredibly thick walls. She could always use her Resureccion’s ability to do it, but releasing it would of course give away her presence and she couldn’t afford to do that this early in the game, so instead, she was going to hitch a ride on a convoy that was bringing in supplies through the front gate. Quickly making it to the edge of the road, Chiyoko ducked behind a sand dune and waited, masking her spiritual pressure completely, one of the few abilities she had while in this form. The escort guards protecting the convoy wouldn’t even be able to detect her reiatsu as they approached and so, Chiyoko simply sat there, out of sight, waiting, listening for the sounds of trucks driving along the dusty road.

Then she began to hear them, a low rumbling far off in the distance, and peering over the top of the dune for a moment, she could see tall clouds of smoke extending from behind where the trucks must have been further down the road approaching her and heading towards the fortress. Soon she’d have her chance to truly make a name for herself, to become somebody again, to finally be recognized for all the hard work she’d done training herself over these past four centuries to reach her goal of defeating Starrk, the former Primera Espada who humiliated her and stripped her of her precious comrades all those long years ago. This was it, with her partner Arrancar, Estomago hanging off of her neck so that he resembled a small pouch, Chiyoko and he were ready to take the Shadow Fall for one serious ride.

Alright, I think I'm done with her. She's ready to be moved and start the actual approval process now.

I'll move it to unchecked and have those that are related to said characters/canons to check it.

I'll allow this under the condition that I want to see activity with this character for the next month or so. If there isn't any, then I will lower her tier and eventually move her into inactive if you flatline. Therefore, I will give you a chance to prove yourself with this character over the next month if you think you can deliver with a vasto character. Thus, you have my a proval for a trial.

After discussing the matter with the other staff, we have come to the conclusion that we will be taking away the 0-tier. This is due to inactivity on the site, as we like for our powerhouse characters to be active if they weren't already before. Therefore I am going to drop this down to a 1-2+/1-1 Release. When you return, you may request for an upgrade after you've shown us some activity. For now, we will just do it this way.

Sankyuu~
