PERSONALITY INFORMATION

» Personality: Originally Kururai's personality started out as a blank slate, no doubt attributed by the fact that he lacked any communication with someone other than the conscience the Nether. In light of this, it is understandable that his personality lacked development. Well, over the course of his journeys outside the Nether, meeting new people and forming relationships, if nothing more than acquaintances with them, his core characteristics and quirks have been refined and brought more clearly to light in response to actual exposure; furthermore, following the events of his physical transformatio, along with the philosophies taken, while a few unique quirks have stayed true to the young boy, a majority of what encompasses who he is has been changed.

The most noticeable change in his persona is the newly calm demeanor he sports. As opposed to before, where Kururai was a bit less mature and quick to react to whatever was happening with more vigor, the kid's now grown up a little. He takes things in far easier than before, often even retaining a sense of apathy through physical expression. In the case that something goes beyond what's tolerable--at least, in terms of sensibility? For the most part he won't expressively react to it and reflect his confusion so well, but there certainly won't be any hestitaiton in calling it out.

After becoming a new being, Kururai has also become more honest with himself. In a sense, he's truer to his feelings now, and shows little hesitation in expressing his thoughts--at least verbally. If, for example, something was to catch his interest, it wouldn't be a hidden fact that he would have suddenly been intrigued, and he wouldn't attempt to hide that feeling, nor would he resist acting upon it. While not entirely impulsive as he still is capable of putting thought into his actions and prevent himself from doing something entirely idiotic, its a frequent occurrence of his to do whatever he pleases without reserve.

Granted, Kururai has become a person true to himself. The same can't be said for others. While he can and is sometimes willing to be honest with another, in no way does a sense of morality restrict him from lying. In fact, deception might become somewhat of a forte. Then again, there hasn't actually been too many opportunities to showcase this inherit, guiltless talent. At the very least, it's only expected that a blunt lie can be said without a flinch. If the occasion were to arrive, it should be noted that Kururai may go as far as to even fake his usually blank facial expresssions.

What allows Kururai's diverse set of characteristics to appropriately mesh together isn't what would classify as high intellect per se, but the capacity to process information with ease and fluidity. A major example is his accurate and prompt reaction to the torturous process he was put through, courtesy of Inami Asthavon. Unfortunate as it was, Kururai was able to properly feel every tug and turn of the threads that flowed through and formed his new body. It's appropriately stated that while Kururai does not have a "beefy brain", he has the capacity to take in just about all the information gathered by his senses and process it.

Seriousness is a term oddly used with Kururai, in two ways. In terms of physically, several might state that Kururai seemed to be a serious person, while others who've stayed by him for a long enough period might say that he abundantly lacked a serious outlook. Technically, both are true. Kururai processes things and takes the in seriously, while his reaction to it might not be serious. It's easier said that he can be mature about situations and react accordingly, but during the process, he'll often make odd remarks or uncalled for actions (As presented OOC-wise in the Xat, where upon being crushed by Nemain, he applied lotion to a spot he released a blast of energy on, while at the same time charging up another attack--so yes, serious, while not serious at the same time).

Among other things, Kururai has been shown to have a curious side, even when the times it comes into play isn't as blatant as some of his other characteristics. Things that provide information beyond his control, his current understandings and knowledge, and most anything that is, one way or another, 'interesting', tends to draw in the boy. Though, considering his now more composed manner, he might go about it in different ways, and expressing this trait--while it might seem more oftne used--is likely to be treated in a more cautious approach, whether he's aware of it or not.

Something which others might seem to think of Kururai is an obnoxious overtone. As a result of some of his other traits, the boy frequently joins in on business not of his own, or inserts himself into situations that he was never invited to. While those are just some examples of how and why he was labeled as a relatively annoying being, the overall comments he expresses tends to be the leading factor in why he's often thought to be so insufferable.

Aside from these attributes, Kururai presents a few more traits that tend to be revealed in different states of mind. For one, the boy retains many of his natural hollow instincts and quirks. Among those is an insatiable hunger for hollow-matter. Even as a Visera Demonio, he still finds it metaphorically irresistible to taste the flowing power of a hollow's flesh in his mouth. Beforehand, he was actually only interested in the gaining of strength via consumption of hollows; however, this interest has turned into a legitimate preference of food choice. Not only is it an inherit trait of many hollows who are on their way to evolution, but this feeling seems to be attributed by Inami's own tendency to eat the creatures--an act actually presented to Kururai upon their first meeting.

This bloodlust is not only for Hollows, however. Kururai has in fact a natural and general bloodlust, or rather an innate desire for combat and the spilling of blood--almost as if he were a scarlet-seeking monster. With this, it's not infrequent to see him really enjoying a fight in the process, even when he himself is one of the losing parties amidst the combat. This is frequently shown through a wide and crazy grin streaking his face.

One of the most common emotional states one might've seen Kururai in during the past was an angry fit of rage. Currently, he's plenty more docile and calm, but there are still times where his patience and anger might be tested and pushed to the brink. In the rare case that this DOES happen, a general animistic sort of act might arise. It's not uncommon for Kururai to go into a ballistic and indiscriminate mode of attack, as he's generally blinded by most things and connects closer to his primal instinct as a hollow, releasing the majority of his intelligence and becoming almost completely reliant on instinct and impulse.

Far from a rare sight, Kururai might also be one to instigate things--frequently, in terms of combat. This is an applicable trait in many situations for the hybrid boy; generally one might see him taunting others to do something in his advantage or into whatever he wants, essentially adding to what might build him up to be one silver-tongued bastard (a name in whose conception was contributed by his ease with facades).

Demon Alter's Psych
During Kururai's transition into a Visera Demonio, throughout the process of Inami Asthavon transforming his body, a sort of demonic alter came with it and arose--enough so that Kururai took notice and actually had a mental battle for control over the body. As such, somewhere within him, there is an alternate psych and its own personality traits. Luckily, throughout the process Kururai instantly suppressed this psych before it could even reveal its inherit personality.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

» History[Taken from his previous application:]Somewhere in Hueco Mundo, within a Shadowfall lab, one of many experiments took place. One particular experiment yielded results unknown to even those of direct participation. For a motive unknown to the subject, a modified hollow was constructed, similarly to the artificial souls the Gotei had developed oh so many years ago. The body chosen to be granted to the constructed soul was that of a young human teen, male--yet, seemingly female. Not necessarily neither, but not entirely either. A confusing statement surely, but it simply didn't seem... 'gendered'. Nevertheless, the chosen host had been a young human, still alive at the time, and no doubt fearful for their life.

The process had begun, and after only an hour of horrid shouts--a surprisingly strong will this human had possessed--the screams had ceased; oddly enough, the body didn't seem to have been transformed into a hollow, as the usual logic would dictate. No doubt, the human in that body had been entirely suppressed, but there was no physical differences to reflect that. In the end, the experiment was deemed a failure.

It would seem that, despite being a ridiculously simpleton mistake, the developers of the artificial soul forgot to account for a lack of spiritual power, which would result in a failure to transform the body itself, keeping physical form. While they hollow had successfully resided in the body, there was no expectation for it to be sustained--the lack of spiritual energy would eventually sever the connection between the body and soul.

The product of a failed experiment was dealt with accordingly. Swiftly and without much though, the body was dumped off somewhere in the dunes of Hueco Mundo, the hollow left to eventually lose its presence. Something else the developers hadn't seemed to account for--and understandably so--was an outside variable. Out of nowhere, a menacing presence had shadowed over the lifeless human body harbouring the artificial hollow.

Moments passed before the hollow within the body had gained consciousness--or rather, had developed a conscience. Awareness had manifested, and against the lack of expectations, the hollow was, so to speak, 'alive'. But for what reason? With a lack of constant energy to keep the bond intact, it was clear that the hollowed-human would succumb to, in someway, nature.

The looming presence from before had been the cause. The hollow had risen, seemingly in complete control of the humanoid physical body. Everything seemed to be functioning properly, including its eyes. What it saw was not the sands of Hueco Mundo; instead, an endless sky of hazy purple shades, coalescing with a multitude of other hues, meshing together in a headache inducing flow. And what seemed to be generated from that horrid mass of colours was a voice. A voice seemingly shrouded in the heavy tone of multiple--hundreds, thousands of voices, all speaking as one.

"You live."

Naturally, somehow already knowing how to do so, the hollow replied.

"Who would 'you' be?"

A slight pause coated the setting before a reply was sent back.

"No one. 'You', currently, are no-one."

Another pause ensued, a quickly adapting hollow already managing facial expression, proven by a confused look.

"How should I.. 'become', someone."

An instant reply this time, almost anticipating the spoken words.

"A name would be a start."

"And what do you suggest?"

Another brief moment of silence, before the patterned break.

"Kururai. Kururai Osamerukami. That is you. And now, you are someone."

The conversation had continued on, and before long, the hollow, "Kururai", would seem to have been given an identity. The only thing missing was 'purpose'. As the voice, the 'Nether', being the term it referred to itself as, had proclaimed, a being has purpose, and a loss of purpose is a loss of being. As such, the Nether had imparted upon Kururai a purpose--something which would stick, and for a very long time.

"Let your purpose be ours. Grow, take ahold of us, and give us purpose. That is yours."

A series of confusing and cryptic conversations continued, before a basic grasp of who they were was established. As the Nether would proclaim, it was a dimension, which over time had gained self-awareness, one way or another. And the voices and plural pronouns were in reference to the thousands of consciences that resided in the Nether, spawned from its awareness of its own existence. And for a supposed long time, the Nether had looked for that without purpose, without identity--that which lacked what the dimension itself had lacked as well. In that, the Nether would task the being with the purpose of giving itself purpose. Kururai, not knowing a thing besides what the Nether had told 'him', had naturally accepted such a purpose. But something seemed to stick to Kururai in relation to what the Nether had said. "Grow".

It would seem that the state of Kururai had lacked strength--a sufficient power to accomplish such a purpose. Had it not been for the Nether supplying him with its dimensional energy, he would be nothing more than a lifeless human doll. First, the bonds between the body, soul and dimension, would first need to grow. This was what the Nether had meant by "take ahold of us". To be able to manually sustain himself, Kururai would first require the skill to draw energy from the Nether, to keep himself intact and act as his Spiritual Energy. This would entail the grasp of the dimension, mastery over it, the ability to have it heed his call. And that he did.

Some 19 years would pass, as Kururai would grow in both mind and body. Able to watch the outside world from within the Nether, Kururai had also gained knowledge of the world in which he would soon enter, after his control of the Nether would grow. These 19 years would be filled with the growth of 'self'; new emotions had been discovered, a definite personality had manifested, and in the end, Kururai would be ready. Equipped to visit the world he was born in for nearly two decades.


[Begin the Journey]
Since leaving the Nether and going into the real world, Kururai has gone on many journeys, one of his first being in the Wastelands of Earth--the reason to having such a destination being the first was that it was an accident. The true aim in mind? Kururai had intended to land in Hueco Mundo, but it was quite clear how that went. Although, the confusion would be necessary, considering the Wastelands were an arrancar/hollow and demon hotspot, and the only definite difference would likely have been the density of the reishi in the air. Nevertheless, there he was, his first stop landing him in the middle of nowhere; and to make matters worse, he was surrounded by Hollows. Kururai, being the resourceful person, took this misfortune and turned it into an advantageous opportunity. These hollows, albeit seemingly hostile, would serve as a metre to gauge his strength, as well as train Kururai to become stronger than he previously was, no matter how little the margin grew--and that margin was expected to be relatively significant, when two arrancar and a powerful vizard entered the scene.

Now, one might question, exactly why did Kururai desire strength? While it'd be easily said that it was simply a goal in mind, without much back-story to it, the human-bodied hollow did in fact have a reason as to why he'd place growth in strength as a goal. Initially, it was in hopes of giving the Nether what he had promised it: a purpose. But, as he traveled the realms and met new people, whether Kururai was aware of it or not, the reason he desired power shifted into something akin to--but not quite--revenge. The desire to receive closure for what had happened during his conception--and, at the least, this goal would still give the Nether the temporary purpose of aiding the boy in his journey.

[The Start of Something]
After coming to the wastelands, Kururai traveled to Europe, the earthly territory of those that created him. What did he do in this continent? Well, from what he would recall, only two significant occurrences happened there--first, he met someone who seemed to be able to bypass his acute sensing, something never done before. He had a brief conversation with the creature in question, seeming to be a boy not too far off from his own age. In the end, Kururai left the scene, with hopes of meeting the creature once more--a hopeful sign of friendship for the future, perhaps?

[Nothing to Do]
From meeting Dotte, the creature, Kururai found himself in the midst of London, a central hotspot for demons on Earth. It was here that the desire for power in the hopes of revenge was more clearly established, when going to what could be considered his second-homeland in sense triggered an inner rage within the artificial hollow. Suffice to say, it was displayed here that he was more than dissatisfied with what had occurred.

[Zombie Massacre]
A few more miniature excursions would happen, with Kururai visiting Japan and confronting hoardes of zombies as well as a number of interesting characters throughout that visit. It was here that Kururai had also reached a milestone in developing his powers. Here, he had forged a new energy sword, different from the norm. Alongside this new gain was a handful of techniques to be utilised, from ranged attacked which he never had before, to something covering a wide area.

[Already Back Again]
Following the battle against the undead was what would be a relatively chance meeting. Visiting the Wastelands once more, in what would seem to be a purposeful journey, Kururai battled a lone hollow--unfortunately, this resulted with the true body of the hollow--the mask and mask alone--attaching itself to the boy and seeping on the dimensional energy his body produced, while leaving him with an arrancar-esque appearance, as well as a hollow signature being fed off from him. To make matters worse, he was not alone during this time.

[Surrounded and Unwavering]
Surrounded and Unwavering serves as the focal point in why Kururai's being had exponentially strengthened and changed. Kururai has received several things from that experience; for one, his whole body was ripped apart and essentially every nerve in his body sent painful signals to his brain, while Inami fiddled with his body in all sorts of manners. Following that was the fact that he ended up losing his weaker human body, and instead gained a powerful demon body. This does several things for him; for one, it grants him his very own energy source, something he didn't have up to that point. Second, since it's a stronger body, it can also handle Dimensional Energy FAR better, which means that the amount of Dimensional Energy that can flow into him boosts ridiculously high in comparison. Furthermore, considering he had mastered the Nether, he's already gained mastery over utilising Dimensional Energy--the primary thing that had been limiting him up to this point was the limited amounts of energy he could access.

Considering Kururai had gone through the process of gaining an unfamiliar body before, and had grasped physical control of his first one within a matter of minutes, it'd be easy for him to test and grasp the full-control of his new demonic body. As such, even the demonic abilities that came with having such a body would easily be gained, so inexperience with demonic powers wouldn't be too much of an obstacle for him. Another interesting bit of information is the fact that he became an Asthavon through this process, his heart pumping pure royalty--Inami made explicitly sure that this would happen, considering she ripped his heart out. While what this entails isn't exactly laid out plain and bare to see, the fact remains that being grown from good soil makes good crop.

THE SHOMETSU-KEN

» Shometsu-Ken Name: 龍土 翼 - Ryu-do Tsubasa (Winged Dragon-Path)

» Shometsu-Ken Appearances: Ryu-do takes the form of a simple set of two long swords, reflecting Kururai's experiences with weaponry up to this point. Having always fought through this method, the twin blades are formed in each of Kururai's palms through the focus and condensation of a mixture of Dimensional and Demonic energy. The aesthetic make-up of Ryu-do Tsubasa is generic and simple; two idenical, typical longswords with no deviation from the standardised of medieval Europe.

GENERAL SKILLS SECTION

Energy Levels:
Dimensional Energy: Who would Kururai be without his trademark Dimensional Energy? As his history dictates, Kururai has taken reigns of the Nether and withholds practically absolute control of the dimension, and therefore its energy. As such, while within the Nether, for the most part it's almost as if his energy is limitless, considering he can simply manipulate the energy around him as opposed to that which flows through him. Naturally, he'll eventually tire out, but it's safe to assume that--given the fact that he lived in those conditions for 19 straight years, doing nothing but practice bending the world around him to his will--the time in which his endurance fails him within the Nether is far beyond any time 'soon'.

So, within the Nether it's been established that Kururai has nigh-limitless levels of Dimensional Energy. What about outside it? In realms like Earth, Demon World, Hueco Mundo and all that jazz? First we'll have to get into what constitutes Dimensional Energy, and how Kururai is able to use it in places aside from the Nether.

The whole process is actually a simple one. Kururai's body acts as a gateway between the Nether and the realm he's present in. Through him, the two realms are forcefully linked--at least, until the gate, which is his body, is destroyed. Considering he's a gateway, it is only energy flowing from one dimension to the next--in the usual case of applying Dimensional Energy, from the Nether to whatever world he's currently in.

Unfortunately, there are limitations to the amounts that can flow--too much energy going through the gate will make it break; in this case, that's Kururai's body. So, it all comes down to how strong his body is and how it can handle having energy pass through it. So, how strong is it then? Well, before, with a human body energy passing through wasn't something difficult in the least, but he was highly limited, as the stress the body would be put through when applying severe amounts can't be handled.

Luckily, the boy now retains a new body--that of a demon's physiology. As such, energy passing through him is far smoother and easier; demons naturally have stronger bodies that are also accustomed to inter-dimensional travel--at least, moreso than human bodies. With that, it's inherently far easier to channel energy through his body, and in far higher amounts.

Most energies require the body to produce it, or filter and channel it; Kururai's is simply a doorway that lets energy through, so the overall process allows for a higher and purer amount of Dimensional Energy to pass through. As such, with the restrictions and limitations of the past removed, the levels of energy possible to passively release is enough to encompass an entire kilometre. Within a 250 metre radius, with himself as the centre, the amount of Dimensional Energy is thick enough to practically taste, tinting the entire field of vision of anyone within those 250 metres in an indigo hue.

Due to the density of it in a localised area, Kururai's Dimensional Energy often has several adverse effects for others. For one, those that can't handle an area of super-dense energy will undoubtedly experience paralysis, numbness, instinctive fear and fainting. On the other hand, because the energy so densely fills the area, the usage of energy-based attacks prove more difficult than the norm, with lower-level energy attacks something being completely interrupted at times.

Dimensional Energy is what Kururai would comment as notoriously incompatible with other energies. It has frequently caused problems and put some restrictions on him in the past, but sometimes it works out for the better. As such, the energy-based attacks one might use that requires something aside from Dimensional Energy--such as demonic energy, spiritual energy, chaos energy and the sort--will prove to be more difficult than the norm, as one also has to overpower the latent energies around them first.

For the most part, such an area effect is mostly a testament to how much energy Kururai's body can handle, but the vastness of it has one more advantage to him. In terms of fighting against races such as Iramasha, Human Chi-Users and Quincies, the distinct advantage in combat Kururai holds over them is the innate ability to take control of the battlefield's energy and limit these beings. As said before, within those 250 metres, Kururai's Dimensional Energy is hyper dense, so much that it often interrupts others using energy-based techniques. Well, within those 250 metres, a large majority of the latent reishi in the air, chaos energy, as well as chi, is pushed out. Unfortunately, Kururai cannot inherently push all the other-energies out of the area, but it is still significantly reduced. As such, the thinness of those energies will serve as a large impairment to the more inexperienced fighters.

Visera Demonio Racial Skills:
Bodily Stability: Visera Demonios as a race tend to have instable bodies. Reason being, their existence is the forceful mesh of an Arrancar and a Demon. As such, there tends to be conflict within their bodies; fortunately, Kururai is able to bypass the majority of the adverse effects that come with this state of being. The reason is mainly attributed by the fact that Kururai's body is entirely demon. As such, there's no arrancar matter to conflict with. With that, physical breakdown and reformation of the body isn't a common occurrence. Instead, the battles Kururai faces from within tend to be on a more spiritual level.

What allows him to be in direct control of his body is a combination of his experience in this process as well as his already capable adaptive skills. However, keeping constant and consistent control is only possible in a calm state. It's been noted that, especially when emotional, Kururai goes rampant, his body included. One of the prime examples of this was, in the midst of his angry state which was directed at Inami Asthavon, his Dimensional Energy went out of control, to the point where his body started to breakdown due to being unable to handle the intense amounts pouring through it, while simultaneously regenerating itself.

Thus, instability of the body isn't a common occurrence, but it's neither an impossible one; however, as aforementioned Kururai's battles are on a more spiritual level. The reason being, along with gaining Demonic attributes and a demon's body, a sort of altered psych seemed to arise from within him during the process. This psych is actually connected to his demonic powers, and is in control of it, nearly akin to a ziamichi-spirit. Luckily, Kururai was capable of instantly suppressing it upon its arrisal, and as such, he was able to take control of the demonic powers it came with as well. With this in mind, it becomes clear that without keeping the demonic psych under check, it's very possible that it may fight back and eventually take over the body, resulting in mental instability moreso than bodily.

Of course, the body is still capable of being unstable. As aforementioned, Dimensional Energy tends to work against other energies (or perhaps vice-versa); as such, the new demonic energy spewing from his body can often conflict with the energy from the Nether also occupying and coursing throughout his body. The result is generally bodily breakdown and destruction--fortunately, because this breakdown is for the most part caused by one of the energies, the other can repair the body, so for the most part any longterm adverse effects tend to go unnoticed and leave Kururai unhindered. The likelihood of actually experiencing something more troubling isn't 0%, however.

Cuerpo Reparación: This is a rather bizarre phenom that occurs within Visera Demonio. By taking the Demon's Body Manipulation trait and the Arrancar's Regeneration, they've essentially created state of being where they are able to adjust themselves to the environment that they are in. To give an example of this, if one was proficient enough in this skill, if they were trapped within a burning building, then they could essentially activate this trait by sacrificing small bits of their energy, rather it be physical or spiritual, in order to morph their body and obtain thermal resistant skin for a short duration of time. Depending on how skilled you are in this, some can hold this shift for one to two post, while others can maintain it for extended lengths of time. To give another example of the capacities of Cuerpo Reparación, if a Visera Demonio were up against someone who surpassed them in raw physical strength, then their body could very well activate a shift within it's internal core in order to become more dense and withstand more devastating blows.

Therefore, with all of that said, the higher you are in this skill, the larger and more lengthy your adaptation skills will grow in nature. Those on the higher-end of this also generally have some form of regeneration. This is because the Arrancar blood within them grows stronger as this trait becomes stronger, and in order to ensure their bodily revisions are top notch, they'll generally stumble upon this reformation attribute. This transpires when one is able to at least reach an adept in the form of recovering from scrapes, burns, bruises and other minor wounds; but truly ripens around advanced level to reforming limbs and eventually more complex regeneration at some point around Master and Grand Master. Though, each time they make a morph, it will become more tiresome because it takes some form of energy or stamina to ensure that it is a full capable limb. If not, it will simply fail to regrow until they have time to rest.


This ability is easily stated as Kururai's greatest asset. Since before becoming a Visera, he already had a phenomenal rate of regeneration--this was simply furthered as a direct source of energy was applied to his body, as well as a boost in the amounts of Dimensional Energy he could handle. At this point, considering his now newly generated Demonic Energy, Kururai no longer uses Dimensional Energy to regenerate, and as such, he no longer possesses the same type of regeneration as before.

When using Dimensional Energy, Kururai's body tended to be forced into reparation through the energy flowing throughout his body, instantly expending itself to heal him. In some ways, this was an advantage, but there were also complications that came with these specifications. For example, if Kururai was to simply sustain hundreds upon thousands of small cuts? It'd be a bitch, sure, but after a while it would cause little trouble in the moment, aside from the pain--if anything, after finishing the fight that caused him to receive those cuts, he could simply regenerate and be rid of them. Unfortunately, that's not how it worked, and instead those cuts would instantly be regenerated, regardless of what he did. As a result, he could've exhausted energy that would have better use towards fighting the opponent.

Now, using Demonic Energy, there are far further applications to it. For one, there's no need to grasp energy from the Nether to heal his body, eliminating any sort of delay that might be present. Furthermore, beforehand his regenerative skills already reached quite a high point in terms of speed, so simply cutting down on the time in which this rapid healing transpires simply makes the process seem nearly instant. Of course, just as with Dimensional Energy, a lower amount of Demonic Energy frequently causes a noticeable deceleration of the regeneration speed.

The amount of times he is capable of regenerating is significantly increased. Before, not taking into an account of an abnormal, emotional state in which the amount of energy he produces might be significantly higher, he might've become fatigued after regenerating limbs a few times. With his new body and far less limited access of energy, it's easily assumed that his regenerative skills are capable of repairing the bulk of his body aside from vitals close to indefinitely. Something like limbs can constantly be replaced, and organs are even a possibility; however, something of more importance, such as the brain, heart, lungs, and anything above the shoulderes--these tend to have a harder time repairing themselves. While it is possible to his lungs, the amount of energy necessary, for whatever reason, is significantly moreso than regenerating something less vital. With that in mind, the regeneration of it is far more limited in comparison to the simpler body parts. Something like the brain requires even moreso energy, as the energy must completely recreate all the systems that connect throughout the body.

The only thing that cannot be completely regenerated is the heart. For whatever reason, Kururai can't seem to regenerate an entire heart from scratch. If anything, he requires a piece of the muscle to stay intact, and from there regenerate the rest of it through massive amounts of energy. Without a piece intact? It's likely that his body will inevitably die, unless a replacement is found, and fast. In the case that he can heal it? The heart will require more energy to repair it than any other body part. It's expected that all his Demonic Energy would be drained away and inaccessible for at least 1 week (IC) after healing his heart.

Aside from the regenerative side of the Cuerpo, bodily reconstruction or configuration is more than a simple possibility. In fact, while he has little experience in it yet, considering his natural talent in terms of controlling one's body, it's estimated that highly meticulous transformations of the body would be accomplishable for him within a few weeks of using it. Upon the first few times, he'll lack much expertise in it, but undoubtedly, avid use of it is more than a capability.

Transforming the body into different substances will be easily possible as more experience is gained--as for a simple change in appearance, even the first few tries will be shown as something simple for him--at most, he would need to figure out the process of the transformations and simply dictate his body to follow suite. While not a demon inherently, his inevitable prowess with it would often lead others to assume differently.

Mental Capacities and Physical Traits
Pain Toleration: One of the more developed parts of Kururai's mental capacities. Given the fact that the process of his rebirth was likely one of the most gruesome experiences ever, there's no doubt in his ability to tolerate pain. To begin with the constant stress of dimensional energy on his body on top of the occasional painful experiences of failure while expirimenting in the Nether had caused his sense of touch to dull. This was more of an actual physical tolerance to pain moreso than mental.

The entire reconstruction and shift of his body from a human to demon anatomy essentially bore him new nerves. On a physical level, his sense of touch was overly sensitive. That fact was thoroughly tested through the painful experience brought about by Inami's process. With every single inch of his nervous system thoroughly tested, under normal circumstances someone with sub-par willpower would have died from shock within the first minute. Kururai endured for what seemed like hours to him.

While that is mostly a testament to his desire to live and endure the pain, it directly represents how much pain he can mentally tolerate before utterly breaking. Throughout the process he retained cognitivie thought and consciousness, only further praising his pain thresholds. Suffice to say, mentally his most powerful trait aside from tenacity is his tolerance of pain.

Adaptive Body: Kururai's body has grown to be highly adaptive, in more ways than one. Technically, the only development his current body has is the occurrence with Inami, while all the other adaptive traits were built with his human body. Either way, a demon's body seems to inherently be of greater strength, and combine that with the brief but advancing situation with Inami, and it's pretty clear how and why his physique has come to grow at such lengths.

For the most part, this adaptive trait applies to his body being capable of dealing with foreign entities. The quick signals capable of being sent from his body and mind--thanks to the forced connection of his new demon body and himself--were helpful in making his body able to function perfectly normally even without expelling the foreign entity from him. A prime example of this was the draining of his blood in totality, and replacing it with Asthavon blood. Usually, a body would probably have some pretty big problems with doing that--in Kururai's case, not only did his body not fight it, but it began to utilise the blood.

This also has inherit meaning in resistance to things such as poison, and with a Visera Demonio's naturally ability to reform their bodies, it simply means that much more for Kururai to be able to be more than capable of dealing with problems which attack his body besides spiritually and physically. In short, the boy seems to be physically resourceful.

Mental Strength: The strength of Kururai's mind was rather strong to begin with. There are several adequate examples to refer to Kururai's not only immediate ownership of mental strength, but the arduous build of it. One of the first examples is his entire birth. For at least the first 5 minutes of his life, Kururai went on without spiritual energy--something paramount to a hollow such as himself. Not only that, but without spiritual energy, he took his own will, imposed it on a human being striving to hang on to dear life with all their might, and take over said human's body.

Following that was the fact that Kururai went ahead and trained for 19 years, eventually taking over the entirety of a dimension, handling all the backbreaking work that comes with such a feat appropriately. With all these things in mind, Kururai has undoubtedly built a very strong mind, but its growth doesn't stop there.

Along the way, the boy came face to face with Inami Asthavon, who had torn his body apart, to the extent of not a single bit of flesh from his old body being left. In essence, she went above and beyond in mutilating him; from this, practically the only way possible for him to survive was to deal with it. If it was someone else, they likely would've broken down a long time ago, and to have dealt with all that suffering while simultaneously fighting off another entity who had attempted to do the same as himself and take over his body? Mental Strength is not a lacking substance in Kururai's case.

Physical Speed: In terms of physical traits, his speed is by far the greatest. At the start his speed did not deviate from the rest of his traits to obviously, but over time this trait was stressed moreso than others. Kururai's adopted fighting style of quick successions of precise attacks designed to subdue enemies of any size quickly demanded speed amongst all other attributes.

His constant 1vsMany battles added further stress to developing his speed. While he does possess a more area-damaging set of skills, Kururai mostly fought by taking down an opponent one at a time. While effective, taking out large groups could potentially take ages through this method. Considering that wasn't the case only further proves that above his other physical attributes, speed stands out the most.

Likely the greatest development in his speed was before Inami Asthavon. Partially due to his adaptive nature, mid-battle through harnessing his powerful emotions and Inami's advice Kururai had actually raised his level of speed mid-battle, even keeping up with the woman in very brief moments; keep in mind, Inami's most potent physical trait is her speed. To top it off, like many of his other attributes the change from a human body to demonic body literally allowed for a higher level of speed. With a supernatural physique, Kururai is no longer limited to the muscular structure of a human body--soemthing he was already pushing before.

Swordsmanship: Kururai has some experience in all manners of weaponry, gained through watching others perform through the Nether before his 19th year. Throughout the real life experiences he's been through, this has only widely increased; however, only in terms of swordsmanship. Amongst all other skills in weaponised combat, Kururai's talents truly flourished. Unfortunately, during his time of recuperation and adaption to his current body in the past few months, his actual techniques have yet to appropriately develop. The only significant change is the level of output he can muster through them.

KingSword Techniques
  • Point-Blade: From any sort of manifested weapon, Kururai points it the designated end towards a specified direction, and from the tip of the weapon an indigo ball of energy forms. Reaching the desired density, the ball is discharged, shooting and retaining its spherical shape. The more dense, the longer it lasts and more damage it can do--in converse, it also drains Kururai of more Dimensional Energy. The potency is usually on par with a powerful cero, and thanks to his rise in energy levels this ability can be used in rapid succession with few visible and immediate drawbacks. Infusing Dimensional Energy with Demonic energy may increase the power of this attack and add an explosive effect due to the clashing and incompatibility between the two energies.
  • Tangible Slash: Something far easier to perform than the former. Kururai slashes his weapon, and from the slash a sharp layer of Dimensional Energy is shot out, acting as an extension of the slash and cutting through things relatively easily. While a dense enough mass can repel the slash, its recommended that an opposing energy, or perhaps something powered or formed from an energy is used to block the manifested slash. The more energy put into the slash, the further it can travel and the more potent it will become. Just as the previous technique, more Dimensional Energy put into it means less Dimensional Energy for Kururai to sustain, though a usual slash consumes FAR less energy than the former, and can be pulled off consecutively in massive barrages before some caution takes place and a bit of a buffer-time is usually set into place. Similar to the Point-Blade, the added variable of Demonic Energy generally induces explosive effects.
  • Area Burst: Kururai stabs the energy sword into a platform. Channeling energy through the sword and into the ground, Kururai is aware of all objects touching the ground in a 500 metre radius. In a 250 metre radius, he's capable of focusing Dimensional Energy, into specific points and launching them from ground up. Considering this move takes constant Dimensional Energy, it can only be maintained for up to 5 posts, and a post cool down is in order. Furthermore, the blasts from the ground-up can be anticipated, as the ground in the vicinity shakes violently first. These blasts are most potent when focused in small bursts no more than an inch in diametre, as the concentration of dimensional energy is increased, enough for it to easily pierce through several things similar to bullets shot from the ground. Demonic Energy does not perform any helpful offensive qualities, and instead will likely interrupt the technique.
  • Final Burst: Using the same concept as Area Burst, Final Burst is the same as the small blasts that shoot up from the ground, with one small difference. This encompasses the entire 250 metres, disintegrating most things within that 250 metre radius. Without a strong enough resistance to the blast in either high mass or energy-resistance, most everything will be caught in the blast and disintegrated. This technique would be Kururai's most potent, and drain a higher level of energy than all the aforementioned. Demonic Energy does not perform any helpful offensive qualities, and instead will likely interrupt the technique.

SPECIAL ABILITIES SECTION

Nether Powers:
» External Mind: As a result of the nature of his talents with Dimensional Energy, combined with the nature of his being, Kururai has found it to be--while not easily accomplished--very possible for his psyche to exit the body, in a sense. Very plainly stated, Kururai attempts to grasp a handle on his actual soul itself, as if it were a physical object, and momentarily pull his conscience from out of his body. In this state, all that sustains him is the constant flow of Dimensional Energy. While this ability in itself is vastly difficult to perform and also incredibly consuming in terms of energy, there are several uses.

Firstly, the process itself. At this point, through the use of Demonic Seals and the like, Kururai's artificial soul isn't only connected to his new demonic body through simply forcing control over it--the two are connected and sealed together, practically inseparable at this point. With that, the difficulties in creating the valid circumstances to perform such a technique are significant. Primarily, the first requirement of using "External Mind" is entering a state of pure calmness. Ideally, one would have to meditate first.

Following this, massive amounts of a combination of Demonic and Dimensional Energy must be gathered, focused and concentrated throughout his body. Without, the process is impossible to complete. The reason of needing so much energy is to momentarily sever the connection between his body and soul. Unfortunately, such an event will take several years to complete (yes, this ability will have significance and use, but only later on--for plot reasons. It is only now put in his application to signify that at his current level, he can pull this off).

» Spontaneous Creation: Given that he is in direct control of an entire dimension and its energy, it wouldn't be far off to assume that he's able to spontaneously create all sorts of things, right? As such, while there is an extent, the possibilities in which Kururai can create things within the Nether are practically limitless. There are few limitations to what can be made--so let's start at the scale of which Kururai can create things. With the utilisation of Dimensional Energy, Kururai is capable of 'creating' things of all sorts and manner. Primarily, this would be used offensively, such as forming blades to fight with. The reason being creation is a complex process in itself, and requires the intellectual prowess to understand and process every bit of sub-atomic particles comprising it when legitimately creating the item, as opposed to simply forming the same shape by condensing spiritual--or in this case, Dimensional Energy. That in mind, while the objects can range in minute to massive, their structures and composition must stay simple. Of course, if thought about beforehand and planned out, over time processing and understanding the necessary information the range of his creations greatly expand.

Outside of the Nether, his body is a gateway for the energy to cross into different dimensions, so naturally there are a vast number of restrictions. At it's core, the limitations only hinge on how much energy is at his disposal, so anything requiring a constant supply of utterly massive amounts of energy such as a star is impossible--even within the Nether, successful creation at his current level is boundlessly unlikely.

The thing is, outside of the Nether Kururai not only has to have ample energy to create his constructs, but consistently sustain them. Theoretically at his current level he can create entire buildings (skyscraper) made purely of Dimensional Energy. That constant level of energy being pumped out is not possible, however; soon after creation, the construct will collapse without sufficient amounts of energy to sustain it. That in mind, Dimensional Energy mimics "mass" to an extent when manifesting in high enough density to be tangible and interactive with matter.

So take into account how much mass an entire building might have. That's about his limit outside of the Nether. Creating a multitude of objects (namely weapons or projectiles) is equally possible and effective, so long as it stays within the boundaries of what he can handle and sustain.

Power Relay: Kururai's Dimensional Energy is unique in the sense that it only exists within the Nether, which happens to be one of the reasons it is incompatible with any other form of energy. Despite that, Kururai can still utilise it. This is because theoretically, any being can take advantage of the Nether's Dimensional Energy so long as they learn. With Kururai as a gateway and sort of moderator to the energy, Kururai is capable of relaying Dimensional Energy as a power source to others without them having to actually learn how to use it. This only works on those who have exhausted their own power sources, and has too little of their own energies to actively and noticeably conflict with Dimensional Energy. This is a long and arduous process that also requires the receiver of Dimensional Energy to have equal or higher Determination/Willpower to him, as he and the receiver must essentially force their body (Spiritual and/or physical) to process the Dimensional Energy and utilise it as their own. That in mind, the amounts of power transferred can only be in small amounts, but constant and accumulative over time.

Space Linking: Kururai links two points in space, essentially allowing him to go past one point and end up on the other. Teleportation/Portalization, at the core this is the same as him opening a portal into the Nether and opening a portal back into the same dimension he was just in, simply at a different point in space. Through his spiritual and physical growth, Kururai has enabled himself to take out the Nether in the equation and link the two points in space directly, as opposed to linking two separate points in his current dimension to two separate points in the Nether. He can instantaneously teleport himself or open a portal between these two points at his own discretion. This ability is no more taxing then easily opening a portal into the Nether. That in mind, he can use Space Link in rapid succession. Since this technique connects two points in space with the intention of traveling through it wholly, the two points must be relatively empty areas, surrounding it being only either ground, air, or energy.

The Nether War: The Nether War is actually a simplified nickname for a series of techniques Kururai utilises, based around mass production of several weapons, all controlled and fighting in unison. As they are controlled, for the most part telepathically, these techniques are generally hard to combat against.

  • Nether Blades: Straightforward and as the name suggests, Kururai summons a large number of assorted bladed weapons and typically throws them at the opponent in an endless onslaught.
  • The Infantry: Several weapons are formed to fight against the foe in a more organised manner as opposed to Nether Blades. The Infantry is typically for fighting a mass number of enemies, as they attack in separated units as opposed to a seamless stream of weapons directed at one person.
  • The Ultimate Phalanx: a series of shields surround Kururai in a dome or spherical format, with lances pointing outside any of the openings between their edges. Also geared towards multiple enemies, The Ultimate Phalanx is a blatant defensive technique that applies offensive capabilities to dwindle the weaker numbers while sustaining no injuries at the same time.
    • Shitstorm: The legitimate and appropriate name for this sub-technique. The sphere/dome created with the Ultimate Phalanx spins around, with the lances and/or spears repetitively shooting out of it in what seem to be an endless rain of weaponry.
    • Ravager: only used in spherical format. Spheres of shields rolls forward towards the intended targets, crushing several numbers at a time but indiscriminately as well.

  • Reign of the Furies: Dimensional Energy expands as far away as possible; within range, a legion of pointed weapons are formed in the sky before they all descend simultaneously at blinding speeds in a rain of terror--all while accompanied by a punny title (reign/rain).

Unique Demon-born Powers:

» Demonic Energy (Za Koa): Unfortunately, despite being a Visera Demonio, his natural energy that feeds off from the body will forever be vastly different to any other Visera Demonio out there. The reason to this is the fact that he never had any spiritual energy as a hollow before--as such, if anything, the energy as a Visera Demonio he displays seems incomplete, and while it retains potency, it seems as if it's half as potent as it should be, often causing those with experience in sensing energy signatures to be under the assumption that Kururai is far weaker than he really is. For the most part, someone would mistake him to be pure demon, considering only demonic energy flows throughout him, as well as the fact that the majority of his body is comprised of demonic cells.

The effects of his Demonic Energy spewing out aren't as potent to the vast amounts of Dimensional Energy he can pour out, but it's still no joke. While he only recently obtained such a power source, Kururai has proven to have a high rate of adaption, gaining control of his new body only moments after his mind synced into it. With that, his grasp over controlling this new energy source was easily done--such a task was only furthered in its ease combined with the fact that he had gone through such an experience on a larger scale, referencing the fact that he grasped the entirety of an entire dimension's energy.

Attributing to the power behind his Demonic Energy is mainly two things: primarily, the fact that there's already experience in its usage. Practically the moment demonic energy began to be generated from his body, it was already put into use. The state of destruction and regeneration his body went through was mainly done through the use of Demonic Energy, as he had already opened the Gateway to the Nether's Dimensional Energy as wide as currently possible, and had therefore exhausted the limits of using the Nether's energy. With that in mind, the fuel behind letting Kururai physical survive the process of momentarily being stuck in a perpetual state of bordering death was purely Demonic Energy. As such, to begin with massive amounts can flow throughout his body.

The second most contributing factor to the potency within his Demonic Energy is a bloodline. Made certain by Inami, Kururai has the Asthavon bloodline within him. As such, with such hereditary strength, there's no question in the oceanic power Kururai could potentially possess.

As it stands now, while Kururai's still to a degree inexperienced with this new power source, the range to which it extends can be as far as 500 metres (Radius). Of course, just like the Dimensional Energy, that doesn't mean it can induce effects for up to that range.

Considering Kururai lacks experience with Demonic Energy, while it is far easier for him to raise the potency of his output, anything like suppressing it and holding control will prove to be a more difficult task. As such, while something like Dimensional Energy is as easily turned off as closing a door, Demonic Energy will require more experience. Not to say that it'll take a while before he gets a handle on it, taking into account his naturally phenomenal learning pace.

» Za Koa Influence: For example, an advanced Za Koa Skill user at two tier is capable of spreading this technique across an average battlefield in order to taint the surrounding vicinity around them in order to gain the upper hand in combat. These advantages include that all of their stats are typically doubled if the influence is not sealed away or fought with magic. So, going back to our two tier demon, he would be able to obtain a doubled increased in his abilities, powers, speed, endurance, reaction time, mental thinking, knowledge and so on and so forth. Users whom are Master in this skill can usually get triple benefits, and Grand Masters quadruple.

Along with those enhancement boosters, another advantage of Za Koa's Influence is that it can also alter the area around a demon in order to give them the upper hand. For example, our two tier demon will be able to dim the area around him into darkness in order to make himself even more formidable as demon's are naturally inclined to become more useful in the shadow's, being able to generate various toxins in the air in order to gradually wear someone down, create harsh acid rains, for the terrain they are on, turn an ocean-type battlefield into pure fire and things of this nature.


The extent of Kururai's Za Koa influence extends as far as his aforementioned range: 500 metres. Suffice to say, generally the entirety of his battlefield is subject to his limited control as that 500 metre-radii area can be tainted to provide him an advantageous scenario. As the effects of Za Koa influence follows, Kururai may effectively double the majority of his demonic abilities in that range.

Hypothetically, Kururai can use Za Koa influence to alter his surroundings to not only be more suited towards his demonic properties, but towards his control of the Nether. By altering the battlefield through a sort of siphoning process that pushes out existing energies within range, Dimensional Energy may flow more freely without interference, only allowing for a higher density of energy exuded.

Of course, Kururai can continue using Za Koa influence in a more traditional sense is just as plausible. Kururai can turn the air within the vicinity toxic to any entity that requires breathing, depending on what toxins are formed. Through different changes, assorted effects are achievable, such as acid rain.

» Environmental Knowledge: Another trait gained from spreading Za Koa's influence throughout any given area is that typically most demon's are given knowledge of their surrounding vicinity. For example, if our two tier demon had performed this within Karakura Central, it would be able to detect various hidden sources in the immediate fighting area such as hidden barriers, seals , spirit beings within the area and things of this nature. On a master level, this would allow some demon's to even detect various elements within in a being. This can be from a persons Zanpukto Spirit, to scanning JUST how much energy they have in total left in them, searching for any unusual traits about their body such as abnormal defense or offense and things of this nature that CAN be detected. This knowledge ability, however, only gives you the knowledge to beat something. Actually beating it, however, is another story.

One of the few things Kururai has failed to inherit through is demonic body is Environmental knowledge. There are three reasons for this: Kururai is a demon only in biology, and can therefore only use skills that come with a demon's body and energy--not their soul. Instantaneous knowledge of the environment has to do moreso with the conscience of the person than their physiological capabilities--that in mind, Kururai actually cannot possess this trait.

On the other hand, Kururai also already has an ability akin to Environmental Knowledge. With his overdeveloped sensitivity to spiritual energy--even being able to use it to discern objects and movements as slight as minor muscular shifts, anything within range of his sensoy ability already gives Kururai an abundant amount of information on the environment.

» Reiatsu Drain: This ability goes hand and hand with Za Koa's Influence. With this technique, our two tier can constrain the flow of reishi and reiatsu within an area in order to make opponents somewhat weaker as reiatsu is energy in use, this can also lead to canceling out attack on some levels, overpowering attacks if there is a major gap in power and for advanced users and up being able to control the reiatsu they constrain. However, please note, reaitsu drain does NOT mean you will simply go around consuming energy until you level up.

The energy you collect, for intents and purposes, will only be able to be utilized for one thread if you are on adept level or lower, while advanced will be able to keep it for two threads, Masters being be able to retain it for three threads and Grand Masters for four threads. This means that during that thread or threads, it's benefits will only qualify there (This means that if you make ANY new thread with your character following the events of where you consumed energy, it will count). In addition to that, this does not always mean you get a tier increase as only those on Master level are able to obtain TEMPORARY boost in their tier if they are able to consume enough power. (I.E. someone like Mana or Abaddon performing this on a large scale such as Karakura Central or the Gotei 13; to give you a measurement of how much power you need to collect with Reaitsu Drain and skill needed to gain that temp tier boost.)

With all of that stated, the main benefits of this Reaitsu is that it is used to increase anything on a demon that deals with power. For instance, a demon could have FAR faster attacks then before if reaitsu drain was performed successful, their attacks would have much more stopping force and it may even have additional benefits. Another example would be their spells being further increased with all of the extra energy being generated within them from the drain. One final example is that it can also be broken down into energy for strength to increase their physical offensive power, increase their defense and advance their durability. So, with that said, these are examples of how reaitsu drained is used.


As this ability goes hand in hand with Za Koa Influence, unlike Environmental Knowledge Kururai can utilise it. In fact, thanks to his experience with Dimensional Energy Kururai happens to be especially talented with this ability--that is, only one side of Reiatsu Drain.

Kururai cannot actually drain spiritual energy as he already has to deal with his dimensional and demonic energies conflicting. This fact actually prevents him from being able to take in another energy to empower himself. At most, he can utilise Demonic Energy in similar fashion to Dimensional Energy, interrupting and at times even negating spiritual-energy related techniques. In other instances, at the very least Kururai is capable of weakening a technique through this method.

» Black Inferno Blast: Black Inferno is a massive burst of destructive energy a demon can unleash if they have Adept or higher on Za Koa. It starts by gathering energy from Za Koa along with the Demon's Blood and any type of darkness. From there, it will form into a ball of darkness that can be used to unleash serious damage upon anything it hits; resulting in a black explosion that is similar to a cero in destruction and can be broken down like a bala as well. Though, unlike a cero or bala, The Black Inferno Blast does alot more then just simply explode. When it explodes, if trapped within the blast, the opponent will begin to feel extreme amounts of heat generating from their skin; so hot, in fact, some believe they are actually on fire from the strain on a person's will. However, this does more then that. That's simply the sign of a dangerous demon parasite entering a person's body. If a direct contact is made or even partial contact, there will be a strong rush of parasites, demon magic and Za Koa's force entering a person's body. From that point, over the course of five post if there was a direct hit or three for a indirect, this will begin to heavily tax an opponent. It will force them to drain extreme amounts of energy until they are somewhat weakened, slowed or damaged if they are unable to extract it from there bodies.

Along with that, if they get hit enough with Black Inferno Blast they even run the risk of dying if it begins to suck the life energy out of them if there is nothing else to extract. The effects also vary from level to level. Adept Za Koa users will be able to do all of the above, while the higher you go, the more quickly, effective and longer the effects will last along with doubling in strength for each skill increase. Therefore, it is highly wise to stay on your toes when a demon opponent is firing this Black Inferno Blast. It could be your last time doing so if you fail to separate this from a regular energy type attack.


Typically, Kururai would be able to perform the Black Inferno Blast like any other Demonic Racial skill, simply by separating the Dimensional Energy he utilises from Za Koa. Under normal circumstances, this would very much be possible. However, Kururai has still become a Visera Demonio. Using Dimensional Energy without combining it with Demonic Energy is possible and far easier for Kururai solely due to his experience with the Nether and exposure to the energy. With Za Koa, this is not always the case.

As a Visera Demonio, it's actually an instinctive impulse to combine the two energies for the majority of his attacks. Using pure Demonic Energy becomes more of a difficult task than an easy one, and through this he has become incapable of using a move such as Black Inferno Blast. While some techniques are available to him in which solely Za Koa is used, Black Inferno Blast is the combination of several other Demonic affinities and a condensed mass of Demonic Energy without interference. Theoretically Kururai would be able to do this, but not at his current level.

» Kage Chōkyō-shi:Kage Chōkyō-shi is the ability for most demons with adept Za Koa users to travel through different dimensions, travel throughout the battlefield or even use it for defense. By channeling Za Koa's energy in addition to the various seals throughout their body in addition to their Shadow Movement, they are able to create many different dimensional holes in the area's around them; each of them being able to range from a small vicinity such as a few inches, to the size of a city block depending on their Za Koa skill. These can lead to other realms; while there is also the possibility it can be used to shield against attacks if they are not more powerful than the demon and be used on the offensive by attempting to slash the opponents attack in half by creating one of those opening in the center of their assault.

Although, it's also worth noting that this is mostly a passive skill to allow demon's to travel through different areas on the site; such as moving back and forth through the Soul Society, Living Realm and so forth. Those with advanced and Master in Za Koa Skill will begin to see ways to utilize it in battle; such as creating waves of blackness meant to consume limited attacks. Even more than that, the few of these people who do manage to master it will only be able to use it a limited amount of times in battle in association with their energy. So if one were to try and use it more than two or three times per post, they'd tire themselves out.


Just like the Black Inferno Blast, Kururai cannot actually perform this skill, this time with slightly different reasons. For one, Kururai has no experience with this technique, which has a replacing counterpart as a racial trait of the Visera Demonio--in that sense, this skill has also become obsolete. Furthermore, with no experience using it, there would be no way to find it except intuitively and by accident, which would be and is the case with many of his other new abilities. What separates Kage from the rest in this aspect is that should he ever be in an instance where he could discover this technique, Kururai would instead find the Visera Demonio counterpart.

» Threads: [Note: This ability was inherited from Inami due to the fact that the entirety of Kururai's demon body was forged from these threads; therefore, his entire body having hosted these threads combined with his masterful control of his own body, it'd only make sense for him to be capable of utilising the threads.] Conceived through permanent demon magic, the Demonic Energy within Kururai's body manifest as needle-point threads, each akin to high-density objects despite their minuscule volume and deceiving weightlessness. This density generally attributes to a high level of durability. Their thin and malleable nature is perfect for more agile and speed-demanding tasks, each of them capable of moving at speeds extremely difficult for most anyone to follow visually.

The threads' strength is evidently comparable to a demon of equal power's Akuma Kyodo, allowing them to filter out most outside influences intended to change their course of movement or physical properties. Their overall malleability and seemingly endless length allow them to take shape as any number of physical objects at Kururai's discretion, but in terms of pure physical offensive techniques these threads are most useful as countless miniature whips that may induce mass lacerations within a matter of seconds on the designated opponent.

Despite many other possible applications with these Dark Threads, given Kururai's only recent introduction to them he is not wholly aware of all their capabilities. Currently, his knowledge and control of them are only instinctual, grasped purely through intuition and awareness of his own bodily make-up.

Visera-Demonio Powers:
Cero Rastro: This an astounding new trait that is only found within Visera Demonio. By taking elements from the Arrancar's Cero, The Demon's Black Inferno Blast and Reiatsu Drain; they have forged a truly frightening racial capacity. Much like their parent species, they can easily enough produce strong energy attacks capable of great destruction. However, what is different for Cero Rastro first emerged in it's appearance. Typically, when one is fully formed, it will have the regular cero blast color the users preference in the center, but sets of different colored rings will appear around the blast to represent the combined signatures of Hollow and Demonic blood coursing through the users veins. From there, if enough energy is gathered, a Cero Rastro's effects, if allowed to hit, can overwhelming devastating. For, depending on how potent the Cero Rastro is from a Visera Demonio, they may be able to blitz entirely through barriers.

An example of this is if an advanced level Cero Rastro user were to try and break a shield. Once their Cero Rastro had made impact, they can attempt to infuse the effects of the reiatsu drain from the demon's in order to siphon trace amounts of energy from the barrier in order to increase the amount of energy for the Cero Rastro, while weakening the barrier. From there, thanks to the taxing effects of the Black Inferno Trait, a Cero Rastro is capable of even forcing them to drain extreme amounts of energy from the limited amounts of fuel it has left until the object in question is somewhat weakened, slowed or damaged if they are unable to extract it from there bodies or negate it. Making most Cero Rastro's very overwhelming to deal with. And unlike an Arrancar's Cero, it can appear at speeds that can overwhelm even users of Chaos Warp or Shunpo if is fired in a nocturnal or dark setting and their target is clear. For, it will tap into the demon's traits of gathering strength from the night and dramatically increase the speed of the Cero Rastro along with it's endurance, strength and potency. Even being able to mend down into the shadow's, and if the user is skilled enough around advanced or MASTER, have the Cero Rastro emerge from behind the targets own shadow.

On top of that, once a user becomes advanced in Cero Rastro, it becomes rather easy for them to infuse different elements of their powers and they have no need to make multiple customized cero's like their Arrancar brethren. To give an example of this, if there was a Visera Demonio who had a fire trait, then they could transfer these traits swiftly into the Cero in order to make it's flames more potent, increase the overall endurance of the blast and possibly even melt everything in it's path. If the user could manipulate speed? Then they could dramatically boost the impact force of the Cero Rastro and be able to produce multiple Cero Rastro's at amazing speeds. Some Visera Demonio can even transfer racial skills into their Cero Rastro; such as adding their Cuerpo Reparación to adapt to a varied amount of fighters; such as if there was someone who had adapted themselves to a regular cero by having armored skin, they could then in turn produce a more dense cero to attempt to create a more overwhelming explosion to overpower their defense. Making this a truly evolved Cero.


Unlike his other racial traits, Cero Rastro isn't quite something Kururai can learn purely through intuition and self-awareness. Cero Rastro is a technique of expelling energy in an offensive strike--something not quite related to the make-up and natural abilities of his body entirely. That in mind, Kururai has yet to display any affinity to this technique; although, the potency of his Cero Rastro can be deduced.

Cero Rastro in it's essence is a powerful blast of energy that streams from the user towards the point of impact. At it's core, Cero Rastro is an ability that hinges on the user's banks of energy. Kururai, who already has the overwhelming access to the Nether, can supply an unprecedented amount of energy to power a Cero Rastro as is. Considering Cero Rastro is the infusion of two different energies for increased power, it is a given that Demonic Energy was added to the equation, only serving to increase the destructive power.

Interestingly enough, regardless of his skill in this trait practically each and every Cero Rastro of his will result in a customised effect. Due to Dimensional Energy's incompatible nature, while infusion with Demonic Energy can be forced and sustained to some effect, if shot out in a manner like Cero Rastro the results are explosive. The point of impact is immediately subjected to a massive burst of energies violently spiking in all directions. If the point of impact wasn't already decimated from the sheer power of the Cero Rastro itself, the subsequent explosion would usually take care of the rest.

Tānāgati: Tanagati, standing for Warp Step in Hindi, combines the demon's Shadow Movement with the Arrancar's Soindo and Garganta. By expanding the compass of their Garganta to a multi-dimensional level, they can now cover a much broader spectrum when it comes to where Visera Demonio can emerge. Previously, most Arrancar could only travel FROM Hueco Mundo to the Human World or Soul Society. Whereas with Tanagati, they are connected to the Sugiura Realm and Demon World as well at this point; and can emerge in between these dimensions as they see fit if they are adept enough.

However, that isn't all there is to this trait. With Tanagati, wherever there are Shadow's, most Visera Demonio will see a dramatic increase in speed. If they are skilled enough at advanced, they can even temporarily blend into the shadow's to cover large distances in order to catch up to opponents at speeds nearly on par with teleporation from how augmented i n speed they get by being in a dark setting. Additionally, even without those nocturnal surroundings, they are still capable of strong boost of speed from their Arrancar nature and Soindo. The primary difference with this boost in momentum is that it becomes much more intense within shaded areas.

Even more than that, with Tanagati, those who are advanced or higher are even capable of producing spatial distortions within an area similar to a Garganta. However, what is different about these distortions is the fact that they can be used to transport objects in mid-fight. So, if an advanced level Visera Demonio found themselves conquered, they could attempt to suck up the attack within a contorting hole in the area and devour the attack to avoid getting up. Beginner can create these as well, but they are generally much slower and only produce one at a time.

This means that the higher your skill is in this area, the more quickly and the amount of Garganta's you can produce at a time goes up. Masters are even capable of making these command mentally at break neck speeds on par with an Iramasha's Chaos Warp nearly. The primary drawback to this is that if they strain themselves too much, in regards to creating too many in one setting, this ability will eventually waver because to repeatedly use this requires some form of concentration to summon and release these portals. So they are advertised to not spam this multiple times within a post. Otherwise, it will eventually put them out of the fight altogether from the pressure put on their body.

What's even more frightening is that Masters of this ability are even capable of distorting the senses of a target in order to swiftly confuse them. This means that within a given area, they have the capacity to cause disruption to the awareness of others in order to catch them by surprise, their surrounding to further straddle the opponent, their actions to imprint false moves and even themselves. An example of this trait being used is that the user could call upon the shadow's to have a false image of themselves emerge, charge at the opponent pretend to attack them with a sword based movement. Then, from behind, the real user could emerge from the target's shadow and blast them with a Cero Rastro. This could be especially well used to devise security cameras and detection based systems as well.


Just like his Cero Rastro, considering Tanagati is not a racial trait inherit to the body so much as the Visera's racial existence as a whole, Kururai has not been presented an opportunity to use this; however, unlike the former Kururai is far more prone to discovering this ability and quickly take control and grasp it. Because Tanagati partially functions as a technique to travel interdimensionally, Kururai is bound to come across this technique. And given his connections with the Nether, it could hardly be considered a difficult task for him to successfully pull it off, jumping between dimensions without having to go through the Nether as a sort of middle-ground access-point.

Kururai's natural proficiency with this technique would make it understandable that he could actually force entrance between these dimensions without ample experience. If anything, he could force the Nether to essentially act as a sort of dimensional interference, preventing the full travel from one dimension to another and effectively place him in-between. Of course, this will require Kururai to actually delve into this power more than simply grasping it intuitively upon discovery.

In terms of using Tanagati for quick travel, utilisation in this manner depends on Kururai's connections to his demon side. Given that his physical body is literally 100% demon, being physically shrouded in shadows gives him the full advantageous effects it would a standard demon. To that extent, he is capable of grasping Tanagati for Shadow-Travel far easier than what might usually be expected of a Visera Demonio.

Ksetra Pari: Meaning Area Shift in Hindi, this takes a stronger turn towards the Demon's nature as they use more of the Hindi tongue. By combining the elements of the Arrancar's Pesquisa and the Demon's Magic in addition to their Knowledge Of Environment, they have devised a form of environmental control and knowledge. This works by first creating a radiating pulse sent outwards from the user which reacts in an unusual way. Varying from how skilled they are in this trait, this pulsation can reach anywhere from a few hundred feet at beginner, to an entire small city at Grand Master. At any rate, once the area they have in mind is selected, they'll then begin receiving information about the materials in the air, what can they can use from this information about their surroundings to create alterations and even learn more about attacks that they may encounter on higher levels. To give an example of the knowledge side of Ksetra Pari, if one were to shoot out a fire blast towards a Visera Demonio, they could activate this skill in order to analyze the contents of it if they were Advanced in this area and attempt to decipher information in it.

This works best with those who have higher mental deduction as well, as this ability is known to work much faster by those who are more intellectually gifted. The reason for this being is that once an attack is caught within the pulsation, which usually emits some sort of faint light or sensation in the area if there is no light, it requires some sort of processing to record the contents that are caught within it. Therefore, the more keen your brain, the more potent this ability will become as well and how swiftly you can scan things in your environment. Ultimately, for Masters and Grandmasters, they become immense artist of counter measuring techniques.

As once an attack enters within their field of area, they are generally able to device shift ways to attempt to counter it or block it out from the knowledge they possess of it. Of course, the more this ability is used, the more mental strain can occur on the user no matter the skill level and eventually exhaust them to the point where it's rendered useless. And, if they reach the breaking point of the knowledge part of this attribute, they WILL lose any information they retained and will have to re-learn it. If they abuse it too much, some have even been noted to have brain damage and lowered effectiveness of their Ksetra Pari. So most who are gifted within this are recommended to scan areas within small spaces, a certain number of objects and to not push themselves too far.

Meanwhile, and more easily manageable, on the offensive side this allows them to influence the environment them rather easily. Once they have a general idea of the area's layout on a spiritual and physical level, Visera Demonio can then use the energy which is produced from within their body to gain influence over the area. From there, with the elements in the area, they can try to devise more otherworldly methods of attack. Such as if they were fighting in the Soul Society, they'd have an abundant amount of resources to manipulate spiritual energy. Therefore, with this knowledge in mind, they can then manipulate an area which they tagged and go on to produce something like a wave of energy that, if it makes contact with a target, is able to turn it a wave of lightning by the reishi they were able to influence morphing them into a electrified state; essentially turning it into a form of magic form them that is still running strong from the demon blood in their veins.

Another instance of this being used in a more defensive manner is that they can condense a large amount of reishi around them and then use it as a makeshift form of armor in order to endure more harsh attacks. Or, if they needed an escape, they could contort the reishi within an area in order to devise a makeshift portal to escape. The higher your Ksetra Pari, the more possibilities there are. Of course, with every action it generally wears down the opponent; much like with Shinigami's Kidō, it requires some form of energy and if used too much will eventually leave 'em high and dry.

ARMA REVOLUCION SECTION

» Arma Revolución Appearance: As the Arma Revolucion's appearance-change intends Kururai embodies the representation of his powers: a creationist entity. During Arma Revolucion, Kururai is closer to the conscience of the Nether moreso than ever. So much that his body becomes more of a closely condensed mass of energy than a physical body. The Dimensional Energy that surrounds him causes Kururai to look purely like a humanoid silhouette of indigo. In this state, as Kururai takes on the form of a pure mass of energy, physical attacks without the augmentation of some sort of spiritual presence or energy will not hit. Put simply, normal material objects such as blades or bullets will not be able to harm Kururai's body without, for example, coating the bullets/blades with spiritual energy or the like.

Of course, this would suggest a sort of invincibility for Kururai. Not at all the case. In the centre of his new form's chest, where the Heart would typically be placed, is a crystallised gem of blood that represents his core. Breaking it would immediately force Kururai out of his Arma Revolucion. If the core is shattered or utterly destroyed, Kururai dies without exception. The reason being, his Demonic Body was formed intently to sustain itself and resist any sort of denial. In Arma Revolucion, his demonic body is entirely denied to the point of no longer existing for the period of time Kururai enters this state. Of course, once he exits Arma Revolucion he would have no body to return to, and would ultimately die anyways. To prevent that, his Asthavon-augmented heart is condensed and crystallised, acting as the core of his physical demonic body. When this core is damaged, out of an impulse of self-sustenance Kururai exits Arma Revolucion before this core can be further damaged. If the core is entirely destroyed, there would be no body to return to post-Arma Revolucion, ultimately killing him.

» Arma Revolución Abilities: Generally, Arma Revolucion strengthens the bond of a Visera Demonio's Arrancar and Demon side. In Kururai's case, Arma Revolucion provides the exact opposite. While in base state the majority of his abilities are more demon-centric moreso than Arrancar/Hollow, Arma Revolucion begins to strip down his Demonic attributes, for the most part only leaving his control and affinity to the Nether left. As opposed to allowing for a stronger fusion of his power sets, the power of his Dimensional Energy-related abilities are focused and grow in power considerably.

Physical Boost: Kururai doesn't actually get any physical boosts from his Arma Revolucion; instead, an increase of spiritual durability. That is to say, as a result of completely loosing his physical demon body, he can handle spiritual attacks and their effects several times better than before his Arma Revolucion as an entity of pure Dimensional Energy. This results in not only him being more durable to spiritual attacks but allows for a larger amount of Dimensional Energy to be released, as his entire being is directly linked to the Nether as opposed to just his body acting as a gateway.

Dimensional Energy Boost: The first thing that might be noticed when Kururai enters Arma Revolucion is how massive the currents of Dimensional Energy flow into whatever Dimension Kururai is in. As Arma Revolucion increases the user's physical traits, the strength of his body allows for higher amounts of Dimensional Energy to flow through him; roughly four times more than before. While having already been capable of encompassing a kilometre radius distance, the amounts of energy coming in are clearly large. However, instead of expanding to something like 4 kilometres, the distance of that 1 kilometre would simply become denser. Intensively denser. While at first only 250 metres would be dense enough to taint one's vision in indigo, the entire 1 kilometre proves dense enough to tint the area. The Dimensional Energy that directly surrounds Kururai's body is dense enough to actually entirely shroud him from vision.

Structure Concept: While not so clear at first, Kururai's abilities centre around "Creation". That is to say, his abilities are all geared towards creation as opposed to alteration, which happens to be a possible effect of many of his skills and techniques. That in mind, Arma Revolucion--having rid Kururai of the burden of his duality existence--offers mental clarity, allowing him a purer control of himself and the Nether. This clarity intuitively grants Kururai a better understanding of creational structure, allowing for an easier time with creating things as his abilities focus on. To that extent, creation in higher masses are also a byproduct, and their efficiency and wholesomeness increase as well. Now, while that mental clarity will help to be able to process more complex creations, the primary factor that allows this is the closer connection to the Nether. As a dimensional entity with a conscience and self-awareness, the Nether has the capacity to make complex calculations (TBC)

Za Koa: Naturally, with his physical demon body gaining an increase in spiritual durability, the amount of Demonic Energy he can produce follows suite. At least, that's what one would assume. Instead, the sheer amounts of Dimensional Energy flowing from him stunts the expansion of Demonic Energy, to the extent that he in fact is unable to use this Demonic Energy and the abilities that uncompany it. Thus, during Arma Revolucion, Kururai cannot use any Za Koa skills that may have once been usable. Fortunately, this also places less stress on his body and soul, as well as forcing the Demonic Persona within him to be passively surpressed.

Cuerpo Reparación: Considering Kururai's body is entirely a simple mass of Dimensional Energy, regeneration the spiritual body is as simple as pumping more energy into his being to "repair". Now, considering the only essential piece to his survival in this state is the small gem in the centre of his "body", there wouldn't be much point to maintaining a humanoid form, right? Technically, that is exactly the case. But the reason for "regenerating" the humanoid form is not for practicality, but to fool the opponent(s). Keeping a humanoid body might put the opponent(s) under the assumption that Kururai must still sustain his humanoid shape, and spreading out this body too thin might leave a bit of transparency that reveals the gem within his "chest".

Cero Rastro: Considering access to his Demonic Energy isn't possible in this state, Kururai also loses access to Cero Rastro. Without both energies usable at command, any sort of energy blast simple wouldn't constitute as a Cero Rastro, and in kind would not have the same effects.

Nether Embodiment: What constitutes the Nether aside from the fact that it is another dimension is the unique energy within it. Enough Dimensional Energy in another dimension will effectively replicate the existence of the Nether enough so that the "gateway" to the dimension is widened and permeated. Put in simpler terms, a small area in another Dimension is actually distorted to the point of becoming the Nether temporarily. That in mind, Kururai becomes almost entirely in control of that area (250 metre spherical radius). He has the option of to an extent shifting the laws of physics within that area, such as changing the gravity, the rate at which time passes by, even how properties of matter work (inertia, etc.).

Naturally, there are limitations. For one, Kururai cannot actually directly effect foreign entities in this space, so in no way can he manipulate an actual person inside this pseudo-Nether. Furthermore, this space is only a distorted area that was originally space in another dimension. That in mind, Kururai cannot actually create new laws of physics or destroy existent laws of physics; only change their parametres. For example, he cannot abolish the concept of gravity. Technically, he can change gravity in the area to "zero", but not get rid of the existence of gravity entirely.

In a way, Nether Embodiment may operate similarly to Za Koa Influence. As Kururai's Nether-abilities are strengthened when in the actual dimension itself, a Pseudo-Nether will also serve to empower him. The extent of his powers stretches far beyond what is possible in any other dimension, similarly to Za Koa Influence. Furthermore, since he is nearly entirely in control of the space, things like shifting the air into toxins or having acid rain fall is completely possible. Even total darkness can be done, strengthening demonic allies within the space should they be there. Even the space of the Pseudo-Nether is manipulable. Theoretically, Kururai can collapse the area to crush the beings inside of it, or trapping them inside if they can resist the pressure.

Nether Techniques:
- New Infantry: Similar to its weaker form in Kururai's base state, New Infantry is a legion of weapons collected into segmented groups. The difference is that these weapons are controlled by humanoid-like entities comprised similarly to Kururai's spiritual body. Each of them hold some level of conscience, individually controlled by Kururai and the Nether. Using this ability typically renders Kururai immobile mentally and physically, as he must typically put all his focus into controlling each one of them. A higher Mental Deduction allows for larger amounts of weapons/humanoids.
- Implosion Field: Kururai selects a wide range of points in space to concentrate his Dimensional Energy in (must be in the 1-kilometre range). These concentrated points powerfully suck in the surroundings, crushing them under induced pressure, like an implosion. A valid subsequent action is suddenly releasing this pressure, and even exploding the Dimensional Energy at these points to maximise offensive force.
- Torrent: Kururai summons a large amount of Dimensional Energy and spins it in whirlwind fashion. Subsequently, the formed mass takes shape similarly to a fat tornado. This torrent of pure energy moves by Kururai's command, and is easily capable of ravaging a small town given enough time to cover the distance.
- GodBlade: With GodBlade, Kururai condenses large amounts of Dimensional Energy into one utterly massive blade that extends to 500 metres long. With a swift swing downward, the "GodBlade" crashes into the ground with destructive power that could shake the vicinity, destroying most anything in the path of the swing and on the stricken ground.
-Forest: Protruding from the ground in stab-like motion is a multitude of pointed poles similar to Sequioa Redwood trees in both length and width. Most anything caught in the field of effect is to be torn apart without discrimination, enemy and ally alike. True to its name, the 200-square metre trek of ground looks like a forest of spikes.
- Smite: An elongated ovular ball of Dimensional Energy is formed above cloud-level and rapidly comes down to attack the enemies with precision. The ball is highly concentrated with Dimensional Energy, possessing a disintegrating effect that is intended to go through anything in its path, including the target itself.
- Strike: Similar to smite but with less concentrated power, a series of elongated ovular balls comes down like heavy rain to ravage the ground beneath. It is intended for fighting larger masses, but can be used just as effectively in one-on-one scenarios.
- Spacial Distort: Kururai distorts a section of space like a pinch or wrinkle of fabric. This technique is generally used with the purpose of changing the trajectory of projectiles. Following the pattern of essentially zero defensive capabilities and all offensive, Spacial Distort is frequently used in not only changing the trajectory of projectiles, but bringing them back around to strike the assailant. This technique is likely the most defensive in his entire arsenal.
- Clones: the composition of Kururai's body is relatively simple. "Clones" takes advantage of his simplicity by creating multiple spiritual bodies that are identical to his spiritual body. The only two things that separate him from these clones is the density of Dimensional Energy that constitutes him (which is far more than the clones), and the Gem/Heart in the centre of his chest. Although faint, it exudes a very small amount of Demonic Energy. Someone accustomed to the Energy Signature of an Asthavon may be able to more easily discern which Kururai is real, as his Demonic Energy derives from Asthavon blood.
