» Name: Sumashuu Sagumi
» Titles: The Freakily Long Haired Master of Chauvinistic Punching/Martial Art Nigga, Circa Frost 2014
» Age: 24 (Came into Existence in this world 5287 years ago)
» Gender: Male
» Affiliation/Rank: Rogue! Fight the Powah!

» Appearance Description:

Sagumi isn’t by any means a large individual. On the surface he appears to be rather scrawny and left without a shred of developed muscles. Beneath that initial impression of a scrawny man however shows what has been thirty years of rigorous, perilous, and tiresome training, fighting, and exertion of power. While Vindeca is a powerful, powerful tool, it could not completely expunge years of strife from the man’s body and his marred past his displayed in full glory across his incredibly toned and deadly personage. Numerous unhealed scars, numerous abrasions and incompletely healed burns checker his body, yet the immediate eye drawer comes in the form of a gigantic sword wound that cuts diagonally down from his right shoulder to his left hip, a mark that could only be left on the man by a zanbato sized weapon if not bigger. This dark brown, painful reminder is something that Sagumi rarely displays. Outside of that rather grotesque reminder of his past failings, a healthy amount of puckered skin and flesh lines up his right thigh, a reminder of an unfortunate burn he had sustained in an equally unfortunate incident along with two seemingly identical cut marks down the inside of his arms trailing down to his wrists.

Reddish-Brown bangs fall in Sagumi's face, more outward than inward, something that is as natural as his equally maroon pupils. Flattened out towards the back, it remains remotely spiky at the bottom of his hair, of course in a downward motion instead of most people's spikes that shoot up. That only initiates the glorious red mane that is Sagumi’s hair however as his flowing red tresses extend far down past his waist and hanging down slightly past his rear. While a few stray strands fall down and lay across his chest, the majority of his bulk of hair is bound together in a large tail that extends down the length of his back. The tail is bound by a crystalline device that tightly binds the hair together.

Beneath the hair lies what faces usually have. It’s not uncommon to have a nose, a mouth, and a pair of eyes is it? Sagumi's eyes hold a color very similar to his hair and lying below that is a neat, well kept nose. A red eye color, while not necessarily unique in world full of monsters, demons, ne'erdowells, and other such aberrations of the natural order, it is a rather unique oddity when presented on a full bred human though and is a sign of the powers he has achieved and the immense Chi that his body possesses. His mouth, a good subject, is hardly ever as shown in the picture below. Sagumi’s face is rarely depicted in that serious a tone, despite his underlying sense of cynicism and pessimism. Typically it holds a look of exuberant happiness, chiding and playful sarcasm, or a lecherous and ultimately disturbing smile. It is very rare that he is ever pushed to don that severe a look and it rarely means something good, for anyone, when he is forced to drop his excitable and sardonic facade.

Sagumi usually wears a silver kung fu jacket and has seemingly always found a way to don himself in these garbs regardless of what incarnation he is presently in, at least in recent memory while the technology was actually available for it. The man wears a single-breasted short sleeve shirt, designed to appear like an ancient chinese kung fu tunic, made primarily of white silk and hemmed with black detail on the wide collar and sleeve ends. The front is held together by three black threads over the chest, and the back falls into a shirttail. He wears a similarly silk pair of blue pants that stretch down to his ankles to reveal his normally bare and surprisingly unmarred feet.

Demeanor:

Sagumi is an excitable young man to put it mildly. He is constantly moving and constantly smiling in the sort of angry way that only he can quite pull off. He will joyously jump around at the slight provocation and enjoys occasionally having conversations upside down. The man also loves the feel of sand and will often time crawl or roll through the sand just for the feel of it. He was luckily born into the right family to take advantage of that love, but sometimes even his own family considers him a moron. This leads him to come off as a bit of a buffoon or at least mentally incapable. This isn’t the case.

Behind the excitable man is an incredibly acute and analytical mind. You don’t get very far in the Warrior world by being an idiot. He has very developed problem solving skills and is capable of quite a bit intellectually. His mind is capable of calculating numerous mathematic scenarios in extraordinarily short fashion and can often apply this to a fight.

Despite his exuberant and frequently rather childish behavior, beneath it the man is rather collected and calm. He is hard-working and studious, these traits forming his mind into the picture perfect example of an intelligent individual. This intelligence blesses him with rational thought, understanding, and combat intelligence and ability and while he frequently plays the role of a buffoon, there is always a sort of dignified and intellectual air about him that, while perhaps not immediately evident

With that intelligence, Sagumi has a tendency to use excessively complicated words, words many people shouldn’t comprehend, and even fewer that would utilize them fluently in passing speech. Whether it is to make him feel superior to others or simply because an asset that goes unused is worthless, even he does not know. Most likely it is a bit of both. This also leads to a terrible amount of sarcasm and condescension. For lack of a better word, Sagumi is quite the jerk. He’s not the best party guest sufficed to say.

That remarkable intelligence has allowed him to fully master the enormous repertoire of jutsu that he has at his command, but it also has given him an ugly chip on his shoulder. In a lot of ways, Sagumi feels he’s unstoppable and he is really only truly afraid of one being in our universe. The arrogance is a weakness that will most likely eventually be his undoing.

Stoic is the best word to describe the last of the Sumashuu. The man has what seems to be a permanently bored yet excited look glued to his face. Very rarely does anyone witness emotion past this from the man. Even when fighting, a perpetually simplistically amused mask is donned. Gleaning any form of intent or emotion from Sagumi is terribly difficult because of this demeanor.

The man’s voice is heard as often as varied expression is seen upon his face. The few times he does actually speak with any amount of sincerity and not just sardonic whining, and those really are few and far between, he limits himself to a few short words or sentences. He gets straight to the point of the matter. His voice is always terribly calmed, almost comforting.

Innate Cynicism:

While seemingly contradictory and in a word, Sagumi is cynical. Centuries of reincarnation bitterly and sneeringly distrustful, contemptuous, and pessimistic. Oh and man can he complain. Sagumi has a tendency to over dramatize, whine, and moan about every little thing around him. Anyone who speaks to him can expect to hear some form of complaint from him. Be it the person themselves, something he’s tasked with, or his personal favorite, just how cold it is regardless of the actual temperature outside, a fact he continuously reminded his relatives that he wouldn’t have to put up with had his family protected their home better and the habit has carried over well in to the future where he is the last remaining Sumashuu. .

Due to this personality, based on popular opinion, flaw; Sagumi doesn’t have many a friend. Most people lose their ability to tolerate him within a few moments of meeting him and tend to wish nothing to do with him whatsoever. For him, that’s perfectly fine. He isn’t exactly fond of other people either, at least not burgeoning any level of trust between himself and them.. People can give away your location, your intentions, he isn’t a fan of teams and he certainly isn’t the cooperative sort. He prefers greatly to work alone and doesn’t actively work to fix his friend repelling habits.

Sagumi is a very loyal beast once the initial bridge of cynicism is breached and he has a very strong sense of attachment to those he accepts and to the sense of loyalty in general. In contrast, Sagumi genuinely despises those who break their vows, which is somewhat of a hypocrisy given his technical marital status and his tendency to be rather loose with his affections to the opposite sex, but his demeanor turns from energetic, playful, and somewhat annoying to severe and rather tense when he is confronted with some sort of betrayal.

There are a few exceptions to this rule however. Sagumi has a soft spot for young children, to him, subconsciously; they are excluded from the taint of misery that adults carry. The innocence of the child is something that he feels uncannily drawn to. Most of the rare occurrences of a smile from Sagumi are when in the presence of children. It is when he feels most at home with things, the most comfortable. Of course, this does little to curb his complaints. He still whines and moans at the same, if not a greater frequency than he does amongst his peers, however the tone is substantially different. It is noticeable that he isn’t legitimately annoyed by everything when around the children. Amongst adults, the loathing of other people’s existence is blatantly obvious.

That said, Sagumi does not and probably will never have children of his own. The fact is occasionally daunting to him, given his inherent love for the child, but the process of getting to that stage is too much for him. He can’t stand other people long enough to develop a relationship that could result in child birth. Instead of seeing this and attempting to correct and change his behavior to get what he desires however, he chooses to simply increase the complaining and whining and further dampening his chances.

Philosophy:

Outwardly, Sagumi is a devout pacifist. He advocates non-violent solutions to problems and constantly seeks to resolve conflicts with as little conflict as possible. When conflicts do arise, he actively seeks to resolve them without any injury to either party. That is the show he puts on at the very least.

Inwardly, battle gives the man a thrill unlike any he could ever describe. He loves fighting and when he has had to, he thoroughly enjoyed killing. These emotions are often warring inside him. On one hand, he wants to stay true to his mother’s ideals and his father’s teachings, but he cannot help but enjoy the violence. He cannot help but enjoy the rush.

Despite the cynicism that encompasses a good majority of his personality, Sagumi is a very kind hearted and warm individual. He will always extend a helping hand when necessary and will do so doubly fast if asked nicely. Consequently, he is always first to the scene when someone is in danger or requires assistance and he is rather good at fulfilling their needs in an expedient fashion. Good work should be finished quickly after all.

Battle Ego:

In combat, the man is quite cold and calculating and has his strange half smile half scowl constantly etched on his face. It takes an extreme amount of shock to shake that mask. He prefers to handle situations up close and personal and in a relatively quick fashion, usually not wishing to overstay his welcome in any scenario. This leads him to occasionally rush things or not be fully prepared before entering a conflict. Usually, this is balanced out by an immense ability to adapt and evolve mid-conflict, but it has gotten him into trouble many times before.

Sagumi also possess an intense sense of determination and perseverance. He is one of the few cases where “give up” does not reside in his repertoire. Even retreats are not truly admittances of defeat. Sagumi is the kind of person that cannot stand to leave a job unfinished and will always, always come back to finish the job. It might not be right away, it might not being for a long time. The only certain thing is that as long as there is breath in his body, he will continue to pursue his objective.

Being capable has not gone without leaving its negative marks however. Sagumi is good and he knows it, this gives him a chip on his shoulder that is far too big for his own good. He isn’t a terribly arrogant person. Sagumi neither boasts his own accolades and abilities neither does he make a habit of demeaning the accomplishments of others, but Sagumi often falls victim to overconfidence in both his family and his own abilities. This has also often landed him in troubling spots.

Sagumi is also very loyal to and very proud of his family. Being one of very few who have extraordinary powers of his environment, Sagumi has developed a strong sense of identity as a Sumashuu and will quickly respond with violence, threatened or otherwise, if his family name is brought under scrutiny or insult. Often times, among his peers, this turns out to be more comical than menacing, but enemies aren’t privy to the same leniency. With this, Sagumi is relatively easy to goad if the buttons to push are known. Of course, no one in this day and age has even sort of heard of the Sumashuu and despite him constantly announcing his name before every altercation, he sincerely doubted that the name would become any more prominent any time soon.

With his pride and loyalty to his family comes his natural affinity for his home. The terrain and environment of his home is what he became particularly attached to and, like a fish when it is removed from water, the man's usual happy disposition turns to a miserable mass of anxiety and restlessness. Sagumi has matured as he's grown and he is no longer a complete mess once removed from the snowy environment he loves, but the man is visibly unhappy about the situation to the trained eye.

Tie it in bow:

Sagumi’s life growing his first time around was very time consuming and Sagumi was not given a childhood befitting someone developing normal habits of human beings. This left Sagumi in numerous awkward situations when dealing with other people. The first instance would be relating to the opposite sex. The man had not been taught the proper social graces of responding to women, the job was to kill the target, not strike up a conversation. Normally this is not a problem, but Sagumi also inevitably went through puberty, unfortunately. In any situation that involves anything with sexual innuendo, the man became jittery and panicky. In order to overcome this weakness, Sagumi broke convention, and the majority of his colleague’s personal bubbles, and decided to turn his weakness on its head and fully embrace being a lecherous swine. Given what would effectively be his true age at this point, he fits the stereotype of a horny old man rather well.

Sagumi has also recently taken a severe liking to cooking and food in general. Not having the freedom he currently has growing up, Sagumi has finally begun to develop hobbies. The first one to manifest happened to be preparing food. He will often side track or interrupt discussions to talk about his new odd ball food creation and will often force companions to accompany him to restaurants so he can properly study the chefs. The antics tend to be annoying after awhile, but Sagumi is still delightfully oblivious to that fact.

Talented Parent Births Talented Offspring:

The Sumashuu clan had been blessed with talented Warrior all and was particularly blessed with a Warrior by the name of Kiyoraka. The prodigious member of the Sumashuu was a wonderful and efficient Warrior and it was only natural that his offspring would carry on that talent. The day of Sagumi’s birth was both a very special and a very terrible day for his parents, Kiyoraka and Isaribi, and for the whole of the Sumashuu clan. A few days before the birth of Kiyoraka’s son, his brother, Sagumi, was killed on a mission. It was a dark and marred day in the history of the Sumashuu clan. Two days after his death, Isaribi gave birth, to their first child. The clan rejoiced, their future was to be grand and this new child would lead them forth into a great age. They named the first child Sagumi, in honor of their fellow deceased kinsman. ‘

The clan was getting ready to celebrate long and through the night when another scream echoed through the room. A second child was being born. Very rarely was the Sumashuu clan blessed with twin children. The day’s joys increased exponentially. Given who the boys’ father was, there was absolutely no way his children would not be the most exceptionally powerful of ninja. Genetics were in their favor on this one, or so they believed. Unfortunately, they were only getting half of what they were expecting. Still, half was better than nothing at all was it not?

Fields of the Mountains:

The two boys grew up like anyone would given the circumstances. As early as the age of two the boys were studying ninja scrolls and practicing basic chakra manipulation in addition to their lives as farmers. One of them excelled, the other did not. Sagumi was a born prodigy, like his father, and his brother had less talent than a caterpillar. At times, young Sagumi felt pity for him and he hated that he could do nothing to help his brother. Every time he tried, he was yelled at and insulted for being so naturally gifted.

Over time, this bred a mild resentment for his brother. If he wasn’t so useless, they wouldn’t have those fights. This drove young Sagumi to train even harder and fiercer. He was going to prove just how much better he was than his useless brother and maybe his brother would learn something. The logic of a child isn’t exactly logical, but in his mind he thought it made sense.

It was around this time that their father began to educate the boys in the history of their people and ultimately the history about their world. This kind of education was surprisingly one subject that both of the two boys were equally proficient at. Both could commit the teachings to memory and both eagerly lapped up everything they were taught. The mind of a child is as powerful a sponge as anything in this world, including actual sponges.

Around the age of four, Sagumi began taking private lessons from his father, much to his brother’s chagrin. He shared his father’s natural ability Unfortunately, even the most prodigious minds hit a road block. The boy could not utilize genjutsu techniques for the life of him and eventually, his father gave up on teaching the boy. In response, Sagumi spent all of his time mastering Toton. He had even grown terribly partial to those techniques and spent his time very sparingly with his Fuuton techniques. By the age of five, he had already mastered techniques that Warrior of his clan struggled to comprehend. Again, the future looked very, very bright for the Sumashuu clan.

Academic Prodigy:

The academy was more of a formality than anything for the young Warrior. His skills with ninjutsu were well beyond his years and he already had Little Warrior level hand to hand skills. When young Sagumi entered at the age of five, he immediately put the rest of the Rival Village's youth to shame.

In a matter of months he had fully mastered all the techniques the academy taught to its students. His clones were perfect, his transformations indiscernible, and his replacements were flawlessly executed. He had even progressed into learning more advanced forms of Chi control such as tree and water walking.

He could not graduate from the academy when he was only present for a few months however, so he spent most of his time at school being terribly bored. There was nothing more for him to learn. The only times of the day that were in any way enjoyable came when he returned home to the mountains and have his father teach him things that were actually useful.

The academy was not completely pointless however. This was where the young Sumashuu discovered his true calling. Of course, it had very little to actually do with the instructors at the academy and far more to do with his ever increasing boredom, but some credit needs to be given where some credit is due. This was the period of life where Sagumi discovered swordsmanship. Sagumi was talented at most everything he attempted outside of illusions, but there was definitely something special going on when the boy lifted his first sword.

Sagumi was soon inseparable with the worn out blade and spent every moment he could spare practicing with his sword. He would often sneak out in the middle of the night to practice out in the farming fields. It did not take him long to become just as proficient with his swordsmanship as he was with every other facet of his life. It was not long from there that he became far more than proficient with the blade as well. Much to his father’s chagrin, the boy’s attention was often drawn away from his other studies to his swordplay in the fields. Thankfully, talent permitted a slight lack of dedication and his studies, while not as efficient as it could have been, was not substantially hampered.

Little Warrior of Snowy Village:

The boy graduated from the academy at an early age, as early as the educators would permit, and was quickly assigned to a team of genin. Unfortunately, graduating from the academy did not feel much like graduating into a new and exciting chapter of his life. Instead, it felt like the sequel and the idea well was completely dried up. The same mundane and arbitrary tasks that the boy was subjected to in the academy he was once again subjected to as an “official” Warrior. The boy could only retrieve a pet from a collapsed snow bank so many times before the frustration pent up to dangerous levels.

Again, the only solace the boy could find was when he returned home to the farm. Snowy Village itself always bored him to tears and outside of looking at new swords; there was nothing that interested him there in the slightest. The luster of the snow coated streets wore off after the first week and there was only a biting cold remaining. Any time the boy was not obligated to be in the village he wasn’t and the small apartment he had was very seldom used.

Like the rank preceding it, Little Warriorwas far more a formality for the young Sumashuu than a real test. The Little Warrior team he was placed in was already far older than he was and were more than prepared for the Warrior Exams. Like his squadmates, Sagumi was also more than prepared to jump into what he hoped would be the first real interesting foray into the Warrior world. It would be an interesting adventure, though not quite in the way he expected.

Warrior Exam:

The Warrior exams were stereotypical and simple enough. The Little Warrior squad traveled to Sandy Village for the examinations and the adventure was equally dull. The boy had gotten fed up with pretty much everything about the journey. He did not understand why they had to travel to the other side of the world, he did not understand why they needed to travel at all and he definitely did not understand why they were walking so slowly. His jounin-sensei was making frequent stops and breaks in their journey and he constantly preached about how important conserving your energy before a mission was. He of course neglected that speed was also considered marginally important for missions and all the breaks and stops did was make the young boy restless.

Sagumi made the journey to Sandy Village in three times the amount of time he felt was necessary, but he ultimately did arrive. Sandy Village held an almost nostalgic feel for the young boy. There was much about the village that heavily reminded him of Sagumi’s own. Once you remove the mountains from the equation, they were very similar. Snowy Village was covered in barren looking snow as far as the eye could see and Sandy Villagegakure was covered in barren looking sand as far as the eye could see. Sagumi would have to go with the snow if he ultimately had to choose however. Snow melted into water when it got inside your shoes, sand not so much. It stuck there and grinded furiously against the bottom of your foot. It was a terribly obnoxious thing, Sagumi already severely desired to return to his lovely farm and he even began looking at his village in a new light. Maybe snow wasn’t so bad provided it wasn’t sand.

The first stage of the exam, the written proportion, was far more tedious than the walk over here. He later learned that he was supposed to exercise his ability to cheat and observe the answers being written by other people, but he simply answered the questions himself. Perhaps he passed the test for someone else as well, but it was hardly important to him. He just wanted to be finished and out of there. He wanted to go back home more than anything right now. Being in Sandy Village was a fascinating experience that had lost its charm in the first thirty seconds.

The second task was slightly more taxing on the boy. Not because of the exam itself, dispatching anything that dared to cross their team was not substantially difficult, but it was all the sand. The group had to navigate the desert and collect two scrolls on the way. A simple enough task, their group simply made their way to their destination and let other teams come to them with their scrolls. The difficult part was the desert itself. Sagumi was oh so very tired of the sand. Thankfully, the adventure through the desert was over quickly and the rest of the misery would be taking place indoors.

The third test was marginally more entertaining. Sagumi definitely has a competitive side and a tournament sounded like some of the most fun he’d ever have. Sagumi easily passed the first two rounds of the tournament, displaying a fascinating capacity for close range combat. The young boy easily dispatched the first opponent by quickly disarming him and driving him into the ground. The second one forfeited as soon as the boy’s blade was at his throat. However, his moments of grandeur were quite short lived. Sagumi did not go undefeated at the Warrior exam and hubris would prove to be the worst enemy of his short childhood career. Becoming far too arrogant, the boy was eventually beaten in the final round of the Warrior exam, beaten by someone taking the exercise far more seriously than he had.

In the end, Sagumi was still promoted to Warrior, having proven his abilities to be at the acceptable level. To Sagumi however, this did not feel like a success and his trip home was a severe lesson in humility. The boy did not speak, whine, complain, or in any way make himself known on the return to Snowy Village. It was a far different trip than the one to Sandy Village and Sagumi was in no rush for the journey to end. The Warrior exams had changed him, most likely for the better, and had given him a newfound appreciation for his home. There wasn’t any sand.

Warrior: Newly Humbled:

The boy’s new task as a Warrior was not much of an upgrade over his duties as a genin. Now at the age of twelve, Sagumi was tasked with being a tutor at the academy. He was not overly thrilled to be back there, but the boy had a new found respect for the tasks he was given. He approached his new assignments with a new sense of desire that he had not possessed before, despite how mundane the job was. Teaching the little snots the basics of being a Warrior was not a task that was enjoyable in anyway. Thankfully, it would not be long lasting.

Two years passed and Sagumi managed to perform his duties without complaint. In a way he had gained something from it as well. To teach someone, you need to understand how they think in order to impart the lesson. It was a nice experience in regards to going into the mind of a person, at least a child, and understanding how they view the world. Despite the boredom, Sagumi was growing as a person and recognized this as a necessary step in his development. The step was over. The boy, now fourteen, was being moved to a Warrior squad dedicated to patrolling the boundaries of Snowy Village and to his surprise, he was going to be working with someone he had no desire to work with. Sagumi was about to be reunited with his brother.

For a year, the brothers maintained a very rough co-existence. They openly did not care very much for one another, but neither let that fact interfere with their job. Not only their own, but their families livelihoods were on the line. If co-existing meant being able to eat, then that’s simply what they would have to do. Any time they could be positioned as far away from each other as possible however, they took it. Life was grand when that happened. When the two were stuck together however, there was a palpable hue of tension and disgust in the air. It was obvious to everyone that the twins hated one another with a burning passion. It did not help matters when Sagumi continued to be better at everything he did and his brother’s resentment continued to grow, which in turn spawned further resentment from Sagumi.

A year of pent up resentment was a terrible thing. Their companions in the border patrol squad often wondered when the tension would reach the boiling point. It was miraculous in and of itself that it managed to last for a year without bursting. The calm amount of tension was about to be put to an end however. The brotherly feud was about to reach that deadly boiling point and it was not going to be the least bit pretty a sight.

Tenyuki

Tenyuki would ultimately be a great gift and a horrible curse upon their family. Sumashuu Kiyoraka was by no means the most illustrious Warrior in the village and their means for survival were not necessarily excessive and despite Sagumi and his fathers fine abilities, their duties did not rake in copious amounts of currency. Sumashuu Sagumi was not a wealthy man by any stretch and his father could do little to afford the boy the greatest of equipment, so instead they did what they almost could not afford. His father pooled all savings and combined it withSagumi’s to commission the creation of a special blade for his son.

This favoritism of course did not go over well with Sagumi’s twin and over the course of the next nine months that the blade was being made, the feud between the two became more and more fierce. It occasionally even broke out in to violence. The fighting was always stopped before blood could be drawn, but the pure hatred was obvious.

When Tenyuki was finished and given to the young Sumashuu, the unthinkable happened. Sagumi’s brother fled the village, abandoning his oaths and stealing food from the larders and detailed scrolls on Snowy Village’s infrastructure. He was not alone, a few members of the border patrol that Sagumi was a part of had committed treason with him. It was apparently planned a long time coming and the young Sumashuu was a recent addition to the plot, but it made no difference. They were all to be brought to justice and it was the faithful of the border patrol that were to make it happen. They were also the only ones prepared to give chase.

An Elite of Snowy Village:

The newly made criminal did not get very far before Sagumi and his squad caught up to them. They cornered them in, well, a corner of the mountains and laid the most siege-like operation that five Warrior could hold. They waited a couple hours, sealing them off inside their little cave. Sagumi was nervous, not because of the fighting, but because he was going to have to kill his brother. One renegade attempted to flee from the cave was quickly struck down.

When they finally moved in on the cave, a few days later when the food would have been gone, Sagumi had to face his predicament. Two more groups of Warrior had joined the group boxing the missing nin in the cave. When they went in for the kill, it was not a pleasant experience. Their opponents were weak and frail and the mop up procedure was simple enough. One person was no longer in the cave however, the Sumashuu.

He had somehow slipped through their fingers, with the scrolls. They brought the remains of the rest of the rebel group with them back to the village and from there, established a group to hunt down the last remaining defector. Sagumi, as a Sumashuu, was assigned to the task force. The group consisted of two jounin tracking specialists and Sagumi. They were under orders to kill the defector and bring back the scrolls or to not return at all.

They were not going to return for three years. The trio of Warrior traversed the world for a long time tracking down this man. It was not simple, they had absolutely nothing to go on and there were no visible tracks leading from the cave. Thankfully, what they lacked in information they made up for in pure luck. Two and a half years after they left for their journey, they finally found a trace of him. In a small village on the outskirts of the desert, they found someone who recognized him. The man confirmed the excursion that Sagumi had been dreading. His brother had gone in to the desert and they were going to have to follow him.

He might have gone there thinking that it’d be the most infuriating place to force Sagumi to go to. He had been rather vocal about his distaste for the area. What his brother probably didn’t bank on was how annoyed Sagumi was at this point. He wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to kill his brother, but the Sumashuu prodigy was certainly going to beat him. For two months the trio scoured the desert, evading Sandy Village patrols and searching or the defector.

Eventually, they found him. He had managed to avoid the Sandy Village patrols, but they weren’t specifically searching for him. The group found him in the dead of night, sleeping near a small oasis in the northern reaches of the desert. Sagumi had come to terms with what he had to do and in the dead of night, he plunged Tenyuki into the sleeping form of his brother. His duty was first and foremost to his village. His brother betrayed his village and he needed to be put down. The group had killed the defector and reclaimed their village’s property.

The group disintegrated the body on the spot after severing the head and placing it in a bag. Upon returning to the village, Sagumi was granted the rank of jounin for his loyalty and his efforts in protecting the village’s secrets. It was a sad day for Sagumi, never before had he been so proud of his work and so saddened by it at the same time.

The Death of Snowy Village and the Flight to a New Home:
When young Sagumi returned home...he found what could barely be called a home. All that was left of his once proud vestige was a smoldering crater. It would not be for a long time until he heard the name that was responsible for this travesty and he never did manage to get his revenge on the one responsible. Somehow, however, the young man managed to stay sane and round up what was left of his clan and strike out into the world on their own in an attempt to forge a new home. Sagumi, surviving the end of Snowy Village, took the remnants of his clan and fled to the west. The journey itself was relatively arduous as the group took great pains to remain inconspicuous and not draw the attention of the ones who butchered their homeland. Their efforts to not draw attention steadily waned as they furthered the distance between Snowy Village and themselves and it was about this time that Sagumi would meet a man who would change the destiny of the Sumashuu forever more.

After many battles fought, both verbally and physically and with a lot of off screen wheeling and dealing, Sagumi was appointed the reagent general of the Misty Village. During this time, an interesting dichotomy occurred in the village, quickly differentiating between the light and dark sides of the nightmare. An interesting new task was being forced upon the unwilling Sagumi as he would keep the Reagent General’s throne warm before he was given the opportunity to relinquish it to someone more willing. Unfortunately his tenure would last through a crisis he wasn’t especially prepared for.

The name Amatsu had, ironically, spread like wildfire through the world and a familiar name, whose contributions to his life were notable but not really large enough to merit an entry in his history, re-emerged in his life. Not one to turn away an innocent...ish...soul in need, Sagumi harbored the fugitive Nozomi Shugendo and put him and his village at odds with the terror of the world. A good few years of tense...tension...followed and over that time, Sagumi managed to grow closer and closer to Nozomi and when the threat of Amatsu vanished due to the wonderful magic of Deus ex Machina and inactivity, the pair of them were wed and set off into the world to relocate both their people away from the machinations of the larger villages, Sagumi leaving someone far more interested in charge of his previous home.

Fleeting Time...for now:

No truer a moniker was ever prescribed than the above title. Married life did not suit Sagumi, the man was a wild cannon and was used to being rather indiscriminately flirtatious bordering on sexually harassing on a frequent basis and his lovely betrothed wasn’t especially fond of that interaction. It was only through an absurd amount of love that she managed to reign him in at all. As the years passed however, it became more and more abundantly clear that “till death do us part” was going to be more than a romantic catch phrase at the end of matrimony. Sagumi, who despite being the most accomplished and most likely the most powerful warrior of his age, was still only human, whereas his partner was not. He knew the circumstances of his beloved’s existence would prolong her life indefinitely whereas he...well...didn’t have that luxury. They lived out the remainder of Sagumi’s life together in a village of their own design and Sagumi finally passed, peacefully in his sleep, of old age...for awhile.

It would be many, many millennia before Sagumi would be seen again on any plain of existence and to this day, he is not entirely sure of the circumstances but, as luck would have it, “Love will find a way” happens to be more than a cheesy sales ad for Valentine’s Day cards. Sagumi, in his original life, was a being of immense, immense power. His Chi had exceeded levels that others couldn’t even begin to fathom and his bond to Nozomi was so strong, that death would not be enough to part them. Sagumi’s spirit willed itself back into existence, utilizing the immensity of his being, even in the afterlife and his connection to Nozomi to spark the existence. It was not done consciously, perhaps it was Nozomi’s pain of loneliness that bade him make manifest or perhaps it was simply not possible to keep one such as him out of existence for any permanent length of time, or perhaps God merely wanted to see him thrust into this new dimension.

His arrival was very, very different from his partner’s however. While Nozomi’s body underwent many changes when it arrived in the present universe, Sagumi’s underwent none...at least biologically. He was still completely and utterly human. In this world, humans still possessed the capacity to utilize their life energy and they did so in a very similar and even less restricted fashion than Sagumi did back home. In terms of abilities, Sagumi was completely unchanged. He was however, unlike his partner, not timeless. Sagumi’s body was still completely and utterly human and while his soul had evolved considerably during its resurrection and subsequent introduction into this new plane of existence, Sagumi’s body did not. When Sagumi made manifest in this world, he was born from a mother’s womb. Sagumi was first born to this world nearly two thousand years ago and has since lived lifetime after lifetime. He would be born, grow up, grow old, and then once again, die. All of his memories would be retained through each reincarnation and with the immense strength of his previous spirit, he would persistently retain his physical appearance through each reincarnation as well. Not exactly, of course, he still needed to be born, grow, mature, and then eventually get wrinkly and old, but the process was always identical and his DNA had never changed. It was on his third cycle that he finally shared his circumstances with the other humans around him and it was a concept they coined Saṃsāra. It would not be until much later that Sagumi learned just how much an impact his stories had upon their religious beliefs.

Saṃsāra:

It would appear, fortunately and simultaneously unfortunately, that Sagumi’s condition would not be changing anytime soon. The humans in this world were not remotely as developed as the one he had came from, at least not yet, and Sagumi’s powers were revered every time he reached an age where he was physically capable of autonomous movement. Frequently he was seen as a God and frequently he felt completely alone as a result. He had lived through five lifetimes and he had seen no sign of Nozomi and the only hint that she was even in this world was a nagging thought in the back of his head saying that it was so. He had no evidence to work with and the concept agitated him to no end. Consequently, he was forced to live life after life, constantly searching and constantly failing to find Nozomi. This process repeated for the next eight lifetimes, technically ten but he was dropped on his head in the fourth and miscarried in the seventh, and it consistently yielded no results. Regardless of the circumstances of his death or the manner in which he attempted to get himself killed, he was constantly brought back again and again. It was then, that the man tried to confront his trials as forthright and productively as possible. He was going to epitomize humanity.

Over the course of the next, multiple millennia, Sagumi gathered all the information he possibly could about this world. He was already oriented toward physical combat in the life time he truly cared about and decided that’s where he would start. The man dedicated multiple lifetimes to mastering any form of martial art he could get his hand on and by the time he had reached his twentieth lifetime, Sagumi had augmented his initial repertoire with the styles of this world as well. The process has never truly stopped for him either and to this date, it is safe to say that he has a complete mastery of every form of martial art that is available to humans, including weapon forms. He served as a sort of protector for humanity, at times passing on what he knew and trying to increase the concept of chi within the populace. It would not be for many, many years later that something would push humans to reach the destination he had hoped, but Sagumi still to this day considers it a success.

It was unfortunate timing when the war broke out. Sagumi was on his last legs and nearing the end of his life span, unable to really participate and defend humanity. Despite the sudden boom in activity from monsters, demons, and the spiritually comprised, Saṃsāra did not halt. Sagumi was only able to truly fight and protect his people through first couple years of the war before he was ultimately crippled and killed, only maturing to an adult and fighting capacity by the time the war had ended. A fact that he himself still regrets and is annoyed by. That regret has carried with him through the succeeding lifetimes to the present. Which is where we leave off, the present. Sagumi has once again matured to the peak of his physical condition and he is set to redo his life again, hopefully this time, something will break the monotony of endless reincarnation.

Muay Thai:

Muay Thai, and more specifically Muay Boran, is the name prescribed to the Martial Art originating from the Kingdom of Thailand, formerly the Kingdom of Siam. The style has earned the moniker “The art of eight limbs” indicating its heavy emphasis of utilizing all of the elbows, fists, knees and feet in its offensive arsenal. Muay Thai is Sagumi’s preferred style for offensive purposes out of the thirty two styles in his arsenal and for the most part, it is the one that is most typically seen out of him when he becomes aggressive and many of his specialized techniques have elements of Muay That in them. Muay Thai techniques as a whole are divided into two categories, Mae Mai or major techniques and Luk Mai or minor techniques. Traditionally, Muay Thai was a style of attrition and their conditioning and training reflected this fact. Muay Thai practitioners are inherently trained to endure all various forms of pain simply due to how punishing their fights tended to be.

Different attacks in Muay Thai can be broken down into five categories. Chok(Punches), Ti sok(Elbows), Te(Kicks), and Ti Khao(Knees). From a philosophical standpoint, Chok, or punches, are not typically a widely used maneuver in Muay Thai. Western influences, namely boxing, have enhanced the repertoire of punches but for the most part they are a spacing tool or used for a strike to the head, body blows being considerably under-utilized in the style. Elbows on the other hand are very, very frequently utilized in Muay Thai fighting. The elbow can be used in several ways as a striking weapon: horizontal, diagonal-upwards, diagonal-downwards, uppercut, downward, backward-spinning and flying. From the side it can be used as either a finishing move or as a way to cut the opponent's eyebrow so that blood might block his vision. The diagonal elbows are faster than the other forms, but are less powerful. The elbows themselves also typically are utilized in two different forms, single and follow-up. There is also a distinct difference between a single elbow and a follow-up elbow. The single elbow is a stand alone strike, independent from any other move, whereas a follow-up elbow is, as the name suggests, a follow up blow from the same arm, typically following a hook or straight punch first and following up with a brutal elbow strike in succession. Such elbows, and most other elbow strikes, are used when the distance between fighters becomes too small and there is too little space to throw a hook at the opponent's head.

Kicking, or Te, is considerably more influential in the Muay Thai style than its punching counterpart. The two most common kicks in Muay Thai are known as the thip (foot jab) and the te chiang (kicking upwards in the shape of a triangle cutting under the arm and ribs) or roundhouse kick. The Thai roundhouse kick uses a rotational movement of the entire body and generates a devastating amount of power. The roundhouse kick draws its power entirely from the rotational movement of the body; the hips. It is thought many fighters use a counter rotation of the arms to intensify the power of this kick, but in actuality the power is from the hips and the arms are put in said position to get them out of the way. Knees form the final and probably most terrifying of the eight limbs of Muay Thai. The force generated from a practitioner of Muay Thai’s knees is a site to behold and a terror to be on the receiving end of. Knee strikes tend to be utilized in a clinch or as a surprise kill shot, the Khao Loi or flying knee being the most iconic and terrifying.

Wing Chun:
Balance:
Wing Chun practitioners believe that the person with better body structure will win. A correct Wing Chun stance is like a piece of bamboo, firm but flexible, rooted but yielding. This structure is used to either deflect external forces or redirect them.

Balance is related to structure because a well-balanced body recovers quicker from stalled attacks and structure is maintained. Wing Chun trains the awareness of one's own body movement derived from muscular, tendon, and articular sources. Performing Wing Chun's forms such as Chum Kiu or the Wooden Dummy form greatly increase proprioception.

Stance:
Wing Chun favors a high, narrow stance with the elbows kept close to the body. Within the stance, arms are positioned across the vitals of the centerline. Shifting or turning within a stance is carried out with variants on the heels, balls, or middle (K1 or Kidney 1 point) of the foot depending on lineage. All attacks and counter-attacks are initiated from this firm, stable base. Wing Chun rarely compromises structure for more powerful attacks because this is believed to create defensive openings which may be exploited.

Structure:
Structure is viewed as important, not only for reasons of defense, but also for attack. When the practitioner is effectively "rooted", or aligned so as to be braced against the ground, the force of the hit is believed to be far more devastating. Additionally, the practice of "settling" one's opponent to brace them more effectively against the ground aids in delivering as much force as possible to them.

Relaxation:
Softness (via relaxation) and performing techniques in a relaxed manner, is fundamental to Wing Chun.Tension reduces punching speed and power. Muscles act in pairs in opposition to each other (e.g. biceps and triceps). If the arm is tensed, maximum punching speed cannot be achieved as the biceps will be opposing the extension of the arm. In Wing Chun, the arm should be relaxed before beginning the punching motion.Unnecessary muscle tension wastes energy and causes fatigue.Tense, stiff arms are less fluid and sensitive during trapping and chi sao. A tense, stiff limb provides an easy handle for an opponent to push or pull with, whereas a relaxed limb provides an opponent less to work with. A relaxed, but focused limb, affords the ability to feel "holes" or weaknesses in the opponent's structure (see Sensitivity section). With the correct forwarding these "holes" grant a path into attacking the opponent. Muscular struggle reduces a fight to who is stronger. Minimum brute strength in all movement becomes an equalizer in uneven strength confrontations.

Centerline:
While the existence of a "central axis" concept is unified in Wing Chun, the interpretation of the centerline concept itself is not. Many variations exist, with some lineages defining anywhere from a single "centerline" to multiple lines of interaction and definition. The most commonly seen interpretation emphasizes attack and defense along an imaginary horizontal line drawn from the center of the practitioner's chest to the center of the enemy's chest. The human body's prime striking targets are considered to be on or near this line, including eyes, nose, throat, solar plexus and groin.

Wing Chun techniques are generally "closed", with the limbs drawn in to protect the central area and also to maintain balance. In most circumstances, the hands do not move beyond the vertical circle that is described by swinging the arms in front, with the hands crossed at the wrists. To reach outside this area, footwork is used. A large emphasis and time investment in training Chi Sao exercise emphasizes positioning to dominate this centerline. The stance and guard all point at or through the center to concentrate physical and mental intent of the entire body to the one target.

Wing Chun practitioners attack within this central area to transmit force more effectively, since it targets the "core center" (or "mother line", another center defined in some lineages and referring to the vertical axis of the human body where the center of gravity lies). For example, striking an opponent's shoulder will twist the body, dispelling some of the force and weakening the strike, as well as compromising the striker's position. Striking closer to the center transmits more force directly into the body.

Punches:
Because of the emphasis on the center line, the vertical fist straight punch is the most common strike in Wing Chun. However, the principle of simultaneous attack and defense (Lin Sil Die Dar) suggests that all movements in the Siu Nim Tau with a forward execution flow into a strike if no effective resistance is met, without need for recomposure. Other explicit examples of punches can be found in the Chum Kiu and Bil Jee forms, although these punches may appear to be superficially different they are simply the result of the punch beginning from a different origin position while following the same fundamental idea, to punch in a straight line following the shortest distance between the fist and the opponent.

The vertical punch is the most basic and fundamental in Wing Chun and is usually thrown with the elbow down and in front of the body. Depending on the lineage, the fist is held anywhere from vertical to horizontal (palm side up). The contact points also vary from the top two knuckles, to the middle two knuckles, to the bottom three knuckles. In some lineages of Wing Chun, the fist is swiveled at the wrist on point of impact so that the bottom three knuckles are thrust forward adding power to the punch while it is at maximum extension.

The punches may be thrown in quick succession in a "straight blast" or "chain punching". When executed correctly, it can be used as a disorienting finisher.

However, it is often misunderstood and criticized for encouraging weaker punches that do not utilize the whole body. But in fact, the formal name of it in Chinese is translated as "The Sun-character Rushing Punch(or Hammer in Cantonese)", practitioner typically would rush forward with his full body weight "throwing" towards his opponent, with the fist as the "nail", and his full body weight as the "hammer". Also with each successive punch, practitioner would step in closer and closer to the opponent, and hence maximize the so-called "power in an inch" without the need of big swings or big punches.
Wing Chun favors the vertical punch for several reasons:

Directness. The punch is not "loaded" by pulling the elbow behind the body. The punch travels straight towards the target from the guard position (hands are held in front of the chest).

Protection. The elbow is kept low to cover the front midsection of the body. It is more difficult for an opponent to execute an elbow lock/break when the elbow occupies this position. This aids in generating power by use of the entire body structure rather than only the arm to strike. Also with the elbow down, it offers less opening for the body to be attacked while the forearm and punch intercept space towards the head and upper body.

Strength and Impact. Wing Chun practitioners believe that because the elbow is behind the fist during the strike, it is thereby supported by the strength of the entire body rather than just a swinging fist, and therefore has more impact. A common analogy is a baseball bat being swung at someone's head (a round-house punch), as opposed to the butt end of the bat being thrust forward into the opponent's face (wing chun punch), which would cause far more damage than a glancing hit and is not as easy to evade. Many skilled practitioners pride themselves on being able to generate "short power" or large amount of power in a short space. A common demonstration of this is the "one-inch punch", a punch that starts only an inch away from the target yet delivers an explosive amount of force.

Alignment & Structure. Because of Wing Chun's usage of stance, the vertical punch is thus more suitable. The limb directly in front of the chest, elbow down, vertical nature of the punch allows a practitioner to absorb the rebound of the punch by directing it through the elbows and into the stance. This is a desirable trait to a Wing Chun practitioner because it promotes use of the entire body structure to generate power. Whereas, the rebound of a horizontal punch uses only the arm to strike. In this elbow-out position the hinge-structure directs force outwards along the limb producing torque in the puncher's body.

Kicks:
Kicks can be explicitly found in the Chum Kiu and Mook Jong forms, though some have made interpretations of small leg movements in the Siu Nim Tau and Bil Jee to contain information on kicking as well. Depending on lineage, a beginner is often introduced to basic kicking before learning the appropriate form. Traditionally, kicks are kept below the waist. This is characteristic of southern Chinese martial arts, in contrast to northern systems which utilize many high kicks.

Variations on a front kick are performed striking with the heel. The body may be square and the knee and foot are vertical on contact (Chum Kiu), or a pivot may be involved with the foot and knee on a plane at an angle (Mook Jong). At short distances this can become a knee. A roundhouse kick is performed striking with the shin in a similar manner to the Muay Thai version with most of the power coming from the body pivot.

This kick is usually used as a finisher at closer range, targeting anywhere between the ribs and the back of the knee, this kick can also become a knee at close range. Other kicks include a stamping kick (Mook Jong) for very close range and a sweep performed with the heel in a circular fashion.

Every kick is both an attack and defense, with legs being used to check incoming kicks or to take the initiative in striking through before a more circular kick can land. Kicks are delivered in one movement directly from the stance without chambering/cocking.

Uncommitted techniques:
Wing Chun techniques are uncommitted. This means that if the technique fails to connect, the practitioner's position or balance is less affected. If the attack fails, the practitioner is able to "flow" easily into a follow-up attack. All Wing Chun techniques permit this. Any punches or kicks can be strung together to form a "chain" of attacks. According to Wing Chun theory, these attacks, in contrast to one big attack, break down the opponent gradually causing internal damage. Chained vertical punches are a common Wing Chun identifier.

Trapping skills and sensitivity:
The Wing Chun practitioner develops reflexes within the searching of unsecured defenses through use of sensitivity. Training through Chi Sao with a training partner, one practices the trapping of hands. When an opponent is "trapped", he or she becomes immobile.

Close range:
Wing Chun teaches practitioners to advance quickly and strike at close range. While the Wing Chun forward kick can be considered a long range technique, many Wing Chun practitioners practice "entry techniques"—getting past an opponent's kicks and punches to bring him within range of Wing Chun's close range repertoire. This means that theoretically, if the correct techniques are applied, a shorter person with a shorter range can defeat a larger person by getting inside his range and attacking him close to his body.

Piguaquan and Bājíquán:

While two distinct styles, these two are often and frequently learned together due to how complementary and useful they are when utilized as a pair. Piguaquan, loosely translated into “Chop-hanging fist” emphasizes explosive, long-range power. Said power comes from the accelerational force of the arms which are often in rotation. By utilizing this rotation, the practitioner of Piguaquan is capable of using his arms as if they were whips, generating considerable amounts of power without needing to close the distance, permitting a relatively long range attack. The hip movement in Piguaquan is more subtle and gentle compared to Bājíquán, because you only need enough to control and guide the big, whip-like chops that the style utilizes.

Where Piguaquan is subtle and deceptively powerful, Bājíquán is direct, in your fact, and very noticeably powerful. Literally translating to “Eight Extreme Fists,” Bājíquán is a very close range style dedicated to opening up an opponent’s defenses and crushing them through the use of devastating elbow, knee, shoulder and hip strikes. To fully utilize the power necessary for these strikes, practitioners are required to go through extensive lower body training with a heavy emphasis on the horse stance, hopefully the emphasis on lower body strength becoming a theme through most successful martial arts is not being lost upon whoever happens to be trudging through this exposition.

Baguazhang:

Baguazhang, literally meaning Eight Trigram Palm, is the practice of circle walking, or "turning the circle", as is frequently referred to, is Baguazhang's characteristic method of stance and movement training. All forms of Baguazhang utilize circle walking prevalently as an integral part of training. Practitioners walk around the edge of the circle in various low stances, facing the center, and periodically change direction as they execute forms. For a beginner the circle is six to twelve feet in diameter. Students first learn flexibility and proper body alignment through the basic exercises, then move on to more complex forms and internal power mechanics to properly prepare themselves for the unique movements that the style demands.. Although the internal aspects of Baguazhang are similar to those of Xingyiquan and Taijiquan, they are distinct in nature.

Baguazhang contains an extremely wide variety of techniquess, including various strikes with the palm, fists, elbows, fingers, as well as kicks, joint locks, throws, and distinctively evasive circular footwork. As such, Baguazhang is considered neither a purely striking nor a purely grappling martial art. Baguazhang practitioners are known for their ability to "flow" in and out of the way of objects. This is the source of the theory of being able to fight multiple attackers Baguazhang's evasive nature is also shown by the practice of moving behind an attacker, so that the opponent cannot harm the practitioner.

Although the many branches of Baguazhang are often quite different from each other all have circle walking, spiraling methodologies, and certain methods and techniques (piercing palms, crashing palms, etc.) in common.

Baguazhang's movements employ the whole body with smooth coiling and uncoiling actions, utilizing hand techniques, dynamic footwork, and throws. Rapid-fire movements draw energy from the center of the abdomen. The circular stepping pattern also builds up centripetal force, allowing the practitioner to maneuver quickly around an opponent.

Karate:

Karate, as a whole, is way too massive and widespread a discipline to adequately summarize in any reasonable fashion without making the viewer want to flee from fear of haeomlacria. So instead, we will focus on the most basic features of Karate. Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes and open hand techniques such as knife-hands, spear-hands,and palm-heel strikes. In some styles, grappling, throws, joint locks, restraints, and vital point strikes are also taught. The style emphasizes focus on the use of the breath to amplify power and the exertion of the voice to equally amplify power, often times shouting as they perform their techniques.

Karate as a whole utilizes wide body movements to generate as much power as possible behind each individual strike and as such tends to heavily emphasize the importance of the power behind a single blow. There are very few combinations present in Karate and the style as a whole seems to focus on a one hit, one kill scenario. While Sagumi felt it was his obligation to learn and master such a storied and popular style, he rarely finds himself utilizing many of the techniques with the exception of knife hand strikes, which is something he has found to be something he truly enjoys.

Kalaripayattu:

Kalaripayattu is considered by many to be the “original” martial art that birthed the myriad of disciplines found throughout Asia. Kalaripayattu includes strikes, kicks, grappling, preset forms, and a plethora of overpowering techniques that utilize the flexibility and raw strength required to perform this martial art. In addition, Kalaripayattu has a heavy focus on striking locations known as Marma Points on a victim’s body. By striking these points, the Kalaripayattu practitioner can numb and completely paralyze limbs and muscle of a short time. There are one hundred and eight Marmas on the human body, twelve Death Marmas(Padu Marma) and ninety six touch marmas(Thodu marma). While not a Martial Art that Sagumi has spent more than one lifetime on, the man is more than capable of striking and neutralizing people’s limbs through the use of this style.

Jujutsu:

The word Jujutsu can be broken down into two parts. "Ju" is a concept. The idea behind this meaning of Ju is to be gentle, to give way, to yield, to blend, to move out of harm's way. Jutsu is the principle or "the action" part of Ju-Jutsu. In Japanese this word means science or art.
Japanese jujutsu systems typically place more emphasis on throwing, immobilizing and pinning, joint-locking, choking, and strangling techniques as compared with other martial arts systems such as karate. Atemi-waza (striking techniques) were seen as less important in most older Japanese systems, since samurai body armor protected against many striking techniques.
Strikes in Jujutsu typically are not the focus of the style, for the most part their entire purpose is to open up an opponent’s defenses in order to perform Jujutsu ryu vary widely in their techniques, and many do include significant emphasis on striking techniques, though in some styles only as set-ups for their grappling techniques.

In jujutsu, practitioners train in the use of many potentially fatal move and practitioners are taught break falling skills to allow them to safely practice otherwise dangerous throws. Sagumi himself has a considerable aptitude with wrist locks and as such, tends to focus on his own toys. Adapting the typical adductive wrist lock(typically applied by twisting the opponent's arm so that the opponent's palm points laterally and the elbow is slightly bent. The hand is then grabbed using one or both hands, and the wrist is forced downwards, hence reaching the limit of possible ulnar deviation, and creating a potent joint lock on the wrist joint.) and the supinating wrist lock(involves rotating the hand so that it becomes maximally supinated, often referred to as 'externally rotating' the wrist, and hence putting a joint lock on the wrist and radioulnar joint. This can be done by grabbing the opponent's hand with one or both hands, and twisting the hand so that the opponent's thumb points away from the opponent. A supinating wristlock performed from a stand-up position can be used to force the opponent to the ground on his or her back. Straightening the arm does not alleviate the pressure, since the shoulder joint does not allow further supination of the hand.) into a more painful variation, an officer of the law is trained to apply chakra to further damage and debilitate their victims.

Xingyiquan:

A practitioner of xingyiquan uses coordinated movements to generate bursts of power intended to overwhelm the opponent, simultaneously attacking and defending. Forms vary from school to school, but include barehanded sequences and versions of the same sequences with a variety of weapons. These sequences are based upon the movements and fighting behavior of a variety of animals. The training methods allow the student to progress through increasing difficulty in form sequences, timing and fighting strategy.

Xingyiquan features aggressive shocking attacks and direct footwork. The linear nature of xingyiquan hints at both the military origins and the influence of spear technique alluded to in its mythology. Despite its hard, angular appearance, cultivating soft internal strength or qi is essential to achieving power in Xingyiquan.

The goal of the xingyiquan exponent is to reach the opponent quickly and drive powerfully through them in a single burst — the analogy with spear fighting is useful here. This is achieved by coordinating one's body as a single unit and the intense focusing of one's qi.

Efficiency and economy of movement are the qualities of a xingyiquan stylist and its direct fighting philosophy advocates simultaneous attack and defense. There are few kicks except for extremely low foot kicks (which avoids the hazards of balance involved with higher kicks) and some mid-level kicks, and techniques are prized for their working within key principles rather than aesthetic value. Xingyiquan favours a high stance called Sāntǐshì, literally "three bodies power," referring to how the stance holds the head, torso and feet along the same vertical plane. A common saying of xingyiquan is that "the hands do not leave the heart and the elbows do not leave the ribs." This philosophy is very similar to Wing Chun.

Tai’chi chu’an:

T'ai chi ch'uan's martial aspect relies on sensitivity to the opponent's movements and center of gravity dictating appropriate responses. Effectively affecting or "capturing" the opponent's center of gravity immediately upon contact is trained as the primary goal of the martial t'ai chi ch'uan student. The sensitivity needed to capture the center is acquired over thousands of hours of first yin (slow, repetitive, meditative, low-impact) and then later adding yang ("realistic," active, fast, high-impact) martial training through taolu ("forms"), tuishou ("pushing hands"), and sanshou ("sparring"). T'ai chi ch'uan trains in three basic ranges: close, medium and long, and then everything in between. Pushes and open-hand strikes are more common than punches, and kicks are usually to the legs and lower torso, never higher than the hip, depending on style. The fingers, fists, palms, sides of the hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, shoulders, back, hips, knees, and feet are commonly used to strike, with strikes to the eyes, throat, heart, groin, and other acupressure points trained by advanced students. Chin na, which are joint traps, locks, and breaks are also used. Most t'ai chi ch'uan teachers expect their students to thoroughly learn defensive or neutralizing skills first, and a student will have to demonstrate proficiency with them before offensive skills will be extensively trained.

In addition to the physical form, martial t'ai chi ch'uan schools also focus on how the energy of a strike affects the other person. A palm strike that looks to have the same movement may be performed in such a way that it has a completely different effect on the target's body. A palm strike that could simply push the opponent backward, could instead be focused in such a way as to lift the opponent vertically off the ground, breaking his/her center of gravity; or it could terminate the force of the strike within the other person's body with the intent of causing internal damage.

Taekwondo:

The most renowned of Korea’s rather illustrious and simultaneously obscure Martial Arts history, Taekwondo is known for its emphasis on high kicking and fast hand techniques. Strong adherents to Taekwondo maintain that the leg is the longest and strongest limb a martial artist has, and kicks thus have the greatest potential to execute powerful strikes without successful retaliation. As such, hand strikes tend to be utilized solely as a close range alternative to the powerful kicks the style trains. While the hand strikes potency should not be discounted, it is not the primary focus of the style. Taekwondo practitioners utilize a wide range of kicks from frontal snap kicks, to spinning roundhouse kicks to the even more potent jumping, spinner, terrifying strikes.

Another core component of Taekwondo's philosophy and general approach to positioning is something it shares with numerous martial arts. An analogy the style typically applies to its teachings design the practitioner's movements to mimic that of a tree. The tree is a potent symbol of strength and stability. The style utilizes this philosophy and the power of physics, namely Newton's third law, to use the strength of the ground and the ideology of a strong core to generate the ferocious power their kicks apply. This philosophy also uses the metaphor of a tree for the purposes of offense as well. When the opponent is viewed the same way, the most efficient method of cutting down a tree is to strike at its trunk, its core. From a spiritual standpoint this is viewed as attacking an opponent's soul, but from a practical and pragmatic view, damaging an opponent's core, or it's trunk, will inevitably effect all that it branches out to, weakening their arms, legs, and their entirety.

Pencak Silat:

Pencak Silat is an interesting martial art that emulates animal movements substantially more than every other style present in the world today. Every style of silat incorporates multi-level fighting stances (sikap pasang), or preset postures meant to provide the foundation for remaining stable while in motion. The horse stance is the most essential posture, common to many Asian martial arts.Stances are taught in tandem with langkah (lit. "step"), a set of structured steps. Langkah consist of basic footwork and kicks made to teach how best to move in a fight. The langkah kuching (cat step) and langkah lawan (warrior step) are among the more prominent examples of langkah. After becoming proficient at langkah, students learn footwork patterns or tapak ("sole") from which to apply fighting techniques. Each tapak takes account of not only the particular move being used but also the potential for change in each movement and action. Among the most common formations are tapak tiga, tapak empat and tapak lima. Altogether, the stances, langkah and tapak act as a basis for forms-training.

Forms or jurus are a series of prearranged meta-movements practiced as a single set. Their main function is to pass down all of a style's techniques and combat applications in an organised manner, as well as being a method of physical conditioning and public demonstration. While demonstrating a form, silat practitioners often use the open hand to slap parts of their own body such the shoulder, elbow, thigh or knee. This reminds the pesilat that when an opponent comes close there may be an opportunity to trap their attacking limbs. Aside from solo forms, they may also be performed with one or more partners. Choreographed forms pitting one fighter against several opponents are common in silat. Partnered forms are useful for teaching the application of techniques, particularly those attacks which are too dangerous to be used in a sparring match.

Tari ("dance") are freestyle forms which haven't been arranged beforehand but are created spontaneously. With a partner, tari is used as a way of sensitivity training similar to Chinese chi sao. The aesthetic aspect of forms is called flower (kembang or bunga) or art (seni) forms. They are performed in slow, graceful movements with a dance-like quality. Once the student has learned basic techniques, forms, and footwork, they are taught how to attack before being attacked, in self-preservation. Far from encouraging aggression, this is actually meant to stop a fight before it starts.

 photo Danketsu_zps5597459f.png

Name: Danketsu
Description: Sagumi’s trademark style, The Danketsu is a style focused on linking Sagumi’s special techniques and maneuvers together and using the increasing momentum of offensive pressure to increase the devastation that one can inflict. The ever increasing tempo and pressure of the style is its greatest strength, but it quickly proves difficult to reliably chain the attacks together given the ease of which a ninja can escape in the split second time in between strikes. Every successive Danketsu technique doubles the power of the previous technique upon itself.

 photo WeapondryTechniques_zpscaeaa051.png

Name: Danketsu: Gatotsu Ishiki
Description: The first attack in the Gatotsu Chain, Sagumi will prepare his blow by dropping into a partial crouch, with both knees bent, right arm drawn back and his left extended forward. Sagumi’s right hand will slide down the hilt of his weapon before grasping the kashira or end cap of his sword and as he rests the tips of the fingers of his right hand on the blade near its tip. Sagumi will then thrust himself and his weapon forward in a powerful thrusting attack. This attack can also be used in a barehanded capacity.

Name: Danketsu: Gatotsu Nishiki
Description:One potential follow up attack to the Gatotsu: Ishiki. Using the momentum from the first Gatotsu, the user will force Chi to their feet and jettison themselves forward while twisting the point of the sword or fist downward to the ground. The burst of Chi will double the speed the user was moving at for the thrust while the twisting motion of the Gatotsu will cause a wider wound when the weapon strikes its target.

Name: Danketsu: Gatotsu Sanshiki
Description: One potential follow up attack to the Gatotsu: Ishiki. Sagumi will slide down into a low crouch before exploding upward, twisting the tip of his sword or fist upward and shooting it into an upward stab, using the power from the earth in his stance to propel himself upward, thrusting up at double the speed of his first Gatotsu.

Name: Danketsu: Gatotsu Zeroshiki
Description: Can either be used as a standalone strike or part of a Gatotsu combination. The user will gather a large amount of Chi to their weapon or fist and thrust that Chi either through the weapon or their fist, allowing them to generate a frighteningly powerful thrust with almost no arm movement, easily punching a massive hole through the human body.

Name: Danketsu: Split Step [Supuritto Suteppu]
Description:A simple technique, the Split Step is performed by lightly bouncing on the user’s toes. The use of this technique puts the user in a better position to move and react to incoming attacks, giving them an extra half second of reaction time, which is often a big difference between life and death.

Name: Danketsu: One-Footed Split Step [Kata Ashi Supuritto Suteppu]
Description:A slightly more difficult technique when compared to its multi-footed cousin, the Kata Ashi Supuritto Suteppu is performed by quickly bouncing on one foot at the moment of reaction instead of one. This gives almost three fourths of a second extra in reaction time in a specific direction.

Name: Danketsu: Buggy Whip Shot
Description: A simple but tricky and potentially devastating technique. The user will perform a simple slice of their sword that in actuality is far from simple. At the start of the actual swinging motion, the user will pump a wave of Chi from the length of the blade. The blade of Chi will then travel in a wide arc and strike the opponent from an odd angle. For example: If the swing was a horizontal slash across the midriff from the opponent’s left, the blade of Chi will arc one meter to the opponent’s left and strike him in the side. Whichever angle the sword is swung will determine the path of the blade of wind. The projectile itself is not capable of cutting through bone or other strong tissues. Skin and other soft and fleshy tissue however is easily sliced through.

Name: Danketsu: Rondo Towards Destruction [Hametsu e no rondo]
Description: A very situational technique, the Rondo Towards Destruction is potentially a very viable killing stroke. The user will channel Electrical Chi into his sword and right before the weapon would make contact with another blocking weapon, the Electrical Chi will jump from the user’s sword into the target’s weapon, forcing it away. This move is not without substantial drawbacks however. In order to maintain the amount of Chi in the weapon, the user is required to maintain almost absolute focus on it. Consequently, the user’s body must be completely inert before the strike and a few moments after, which makes the move highly impractical unless the user is being propelled by an outside force. Typically, this outside force is gravity, but ingenuity can lend to the move being slightly more practical.

Name: Danketsu: Triple Counter: Swallow Return [Danketsu: Sanjuu Tentou: Tsubame Gaishi]
Description:
The first of the Triple Counters, Tsubame Gaishi is a riposte maneuver. When an attack, generally another weapon based manuever, is aimed at the user’s midriff or legs, the Tsubame Gaishi becomes available. The user will quickly hop into the air and parry the incoming blow, typically guiding the blow beneath his airborne self. From there, using the supreme Chi control of the Sumashuu, the user’s sword will glide up the opponent’s weapon and lead into a slice to the opponent’s chest.

Name: Danketsu: Triple Counter: Bear Drop [Danketsu: Sanjuu Tentou: Higuma Otoshi]
Description:
The second of the Triple Counters, Higuma Otoshi is strictly a parry, but a powerful one and is meant to react to an overhead strike. The user will meet the overhead strike with the flat of his sword. Instead of the two blades actually connecting however, using the supreme Chi control of the Sumashuu, a small pocket of Chi will form at the point of impact. From there, the user of the Higuma Otoshi will sweep his sword to the side, causing the pocket of Chi to violently jerk and rip the opponent’s weapon from their hand.

Name: Danketsu: Triple Counter: Dragonfly Illusion [Danketsu: Sanjuu Tentou: Kagerō Zutsumi]
Description:
The fourth of the Triple Counters, the Kagerō Zutsumi is a rather flashy technique. After blocking an opposing weapon, the user will create a force a negative charge into the opponent’s weapon while inserting a positive charge into his own. This will keep the weapons effectively stuck together. Then, using proper leverage and ideally surprise, the user will rip the weapon from their opponent’s hands.

Name: Danketsu: Triple Counter: Star Fireworks [Danketsu: Sanjuu Tentou: Hoshi Hanabi]
Description:
The fifth of the triple counters, the Hoshi Hanabi effectively counters projectiles and physical Technique. By channeling Electrical Chi into the blade, the user will lower the tip of the blade to the ground before swinging in an upward, violent arc. By combining a powerful swing with the enhanced cutting power of Electrical, the counter will cleave through lesser weapons or jolt the weapon out of the opponent’s hands. Any common weapons will be immediately broken and anything more potent will be forced out of an opponent’s hand. Any other weapon will simply be knocked from the opponent’s hand. Given the relatively slow nature of the counter, the opponent’s attack needs to be slower and heavily telegraphed for this technique to have use.

Name: Samurai Zone [Samurai Zōn]
Description: A very potent KenTechnique, the Samurai Zone is supremely effective against other KenTechnique users. Upon making contact with an opponent’s weapon, the user of the technique will selectively charge an opponent’s metal weapon with electrons while maintaining a positive charge in his own weapon. This effectively allows the user of the Samurai Zone to funnel his opponent’s blade into the general area that the user wishes, making it very easy to parry and negate an opponent’s offense. The effect lasts until dispelled.

Name: Sagumibattou
Description: An advanced form of Iaido, the Sagumibattou is a style fixated around using the sword sheathe as a funnel to reduce movement and air resistance in the sword slash. The release for the Sagumibattou however is far gentler than a typical Iaido draw with less wasted movement, effectively making it faster than a normal Iaido draw through completely refined movements. Because of the lack of wasted movement, the free hand does not need to brace the sheathe for the draw to be efficient.

Name: Nitōryū: Two Swords Style
Description:
Requirements: Ambidexterity
Unlike the name suggests, this style only involves one sword. It does however focus on the capacity to switch sword hands effortless and promotes the capacity for using the momentum given by being able to swiftly and effortlessly transition from one hand to another. Masters of this style tend to be much more defensively sound, being able to cover all angles of attack with little trouble and have effectively improved reaction time.

 photo HandtoHand_zpsba2df6dc.png

Name: Danketsu: Waist Turn [Gamaku]
Description: An ancient technique that allows the user to pretend to stand on one leg, but actually stand on the other leg. The opponent is fooled by the stance and defends for the wrong leg, even thinking that the user is stepping forward but actually is taking a back step. They then see the wrong leg move forward when actually the opposite leg comes in unexpectedly. This move uses the oblique muscles to switch the leg with the center of gravity, separating the balance between the upper and lower body. When most people kick, the upper body leans to signal which leg is being used. However, the center of gravity is actually on the grounded leg, which kicks the opponent.

Name: Danketsu:Backward Roll [Ushiro Ukemi]
Description: A technique derived from an ancient martial art, the Ushiro Ukemi allows the user to force themselves to hit the ground in a backward roll, providing an effective manner to reducing the impact from throws and falls.

Name: Danketsu:Sumokudori
Description: A technique from an ancient style, this technique is used when an opponent has attacked with a punch and is used to counter it. The user grabs the opponent's arm, places the arm at the back of the user’s neck before lowering their center of gravity and then tripping the opponent with a sweep of the leg.

Name: Danketsu:Wrist Joint Throw
Description: A Jujitsu technique, the user will grab hold of an opponent's strike by the wrist, apply pressure to the joint by curling the arm backward while simultaneously taking a step forward and placing their center of gravity behind their opponent's. They will then push forward and throw their opponent's to the ground.

Name: Danketsu: Bagua Steps[Baguazhang Kaiho]
Description: A very basic footwork maneuver that the technique practitioner has been able to perfect through use of Chi enhanced movements. When an opponent attacks, the Bagua user will circle around his side, and appear behind him. When someone attacks with a punch, the practitioner will put his same sided foot behind their opposite sided foot, with his two feet pointing towards each other. After that, follow up with your left foot, circle behind your opponent's left side and you appear behind the opponent. This can be used as a starting point for a throw or a strike. Using Chi to enhance the movement makes it difficult to the untrained eye. The trained eye, I.E. shinobi, will usually be able to follow the movement, but it is very useful for gaining better positioning in hand to hand combat.

Name: Danketsu: After-Image Dash[Kasumi Gake]
Description: A useful technique, the Kasumi Gake causes the user the shoot forward in a straight line at greatly increased speed, leaving only an after-image of their body behind while their body seems to be a blur. This however needs to be a completely controlled movement and as such, cannot be used as an attack itself. The user needs to already be moving and building momentum to use the Kasumi Gake and all movement ceases completely once they exit the Kasumi Gake, leaving another lull before an attack can be executed, giving an opponent ample time to react if not caught completely off guard.

Name: Danketsu: Illusionary Dash [Kaihou]
Description: The name, while the technique is no illusion, is frighteningly accurate for this Technique maneuver. The human eye has a weakness, a blind spot. Light gets into the eye by passing through the pupil. It hits the retina at the back of the eye. The retina is covered with light-sensing proteins. They relay what they sense to the optic nerve which carries the information back into the brain. The problem is, the optic nerve ends in the field of the retina itself. This creates a dark spot in the human field of vision. When these dark spots overlap or if the person is forced to look out of one eye the brain just fills in the spot looking at the surrounding picture. This is the tendency with the human brain that the Illusionary Dash exploits. After a time of watching and studying the opponent’s optical tendencies (2 posts) the user of this technique will be able to locate that blind spot. From there, is where the illusionary dash takes place. By channeling Chi to their feet, the user will increase their speed by 10% for two posts while constantly moving into the dead spot in their opponent’s field of vision. Considering the dead spot changes whenever they move their head so much as an inch, it will seem as if the user of the Illusionary dash is flickering in and out of focus, making it difficult to effectively read the Illusionary dasher’s attacks. If the opponent loses or has lost functionality in one eye, the user can cause themselves to disappear from view entirely. Given the location of the blind spot, this Technique functions are a range of six feet.

Name: Danketsu: Palm Push [Sōtenshu]
Description: A simple yet potentially devastating attack, the Sōtenshu greatly calls upon the Chi control of the user to incapacitate a foe in a non-lethal manner. Placing both palms on an opponent’s chest, the user will force their Chi out through their palms and into their opponent’s body, sending a concussive force through their victim and sufficiently knocking the wind out of them and at most, fracturing a few ribs. The use of this technique requires substantial amount of Chi control and can only be used by clans with immense Chi control or those who have under gone immense training and are specially characterized as having strong control over their Chi.

Name: Danketsu: Go no Sen
Description: The Go no Sen is first a defensive technique and secondly a retaliatory one and it requires a keen and rhythmic mind. A practitioner of the Go no Sen has learned to feel the ebb and flow of their opponent’s attacks and will use rotational force to absorb and return some of the attacking energy let out by their opponent. While the traditional application is to rotate just outside of the force of the blow to completely avoid contact, the style has conditioned the user to take punishment as well.

Name: Danketsu: Kakei
Description: A style designed entirely to defend the person from Technique and other kinetic forces, the Kakei is rooted in the cyclical movement of the arms to roll incoming attacks away from the user, turning blocks into parries and greatly reducing harm to the user. The Kakei practitioner, if the style is utilized properly, it will completely divert and negate the entirety of an opponent’s strike.

Name: Danketsu: Meotoude
Description: One of the most practical methods to use one's body, it uses both hands for offense and defense. Meotude the opponent sees the front attack and in less than a second the second hand delivers an attack that makes them cough blood. This technique involves both hands to attack and defend. The front hand is used to fend off any incoming attacks, as well as to attack. The back hand is also used for defense, and it is used as the surprise attack.

Name: Danketsu: Raisei
Description: An internal martial arts technique, the Raisei focuses Chi throughout the body, specifically the diaphragm, which allows the user to use their breath to cause their body to vibrate. This vibration greatly increases the destructive power of the user’s attacks, increasing the damage of these attacks dramatically and allows the user’s hands to effectively carve through an opponent’s body as if it were a knife.

Name: Danketsu: Cross Countah
Description: Using the Chi control of the Sumashuu and the principles behind the Kage Buyou, this technique serves as a counter attack to an opponent’s melee or close range attack. A slight glimmer will radiate from the user while this technique is used, the glimmer itself being a two inch threshold around the user’s body. If any kinetic force punctures that barrier, the user will disappear and reappear behind the opponent in a similar function to the Kage Buyou and can strike from there. In order to maintain the membrane of Chi however, the user’s muscles must be perfectly still and consequently gives this counter a very telegraphed nature, limiting its overall functionality and practical application, especially considering the visual cues.

Name: Danketsu: Lightning Legs [Hyakuretsukyaku]
Description: This technique is, at its core, simply a kicking technique. The user will initiate a direct forward kick in front of their body. However, it will not remain a simple forward kick, as soon as the first kick finishes, the Technique will proceed to throw four more kicks that connect each a quarter of a second after the first, effectively kicking a target five times within a second. With more Chi applied, the technique strikes ten times within that second.

Name: Danketsu: 100% Technique
Description: Utilizing his utter dedication to the Danketsu style and his ability to push the limits of conventional ability. After using this Technique and sending the surge of Chi through his body, this technique causes every Technique Sagumi uses for the remainder of the thread to become a Danketsu Technique technique, allowing it to benefit and receives benefits to and from the Danketsu style in its entirety.

Name: Danketsu: 100% Power
Description: Utilizing his body’s astounding capacity for Chi control and his ability to push the limits of conventional ability, Sagumi can completely overcome the single weakness that he has in close combat, physical strength. When used, Sagumi’s muscle mass will grow immensely, his normally toned and lithe physique bulging as if he’d been trained to be the most ridiculous body builder imaginable since age three. While in this form, Sagumi’s physical strength and power will increase by four times and his next Technique based technique will have its power quintupled. However, Sagumi can only hold this form for three posts and due to the sudden increase in body mass and general additional weight of the muscles, Sagumi’s speed in this form is only a fourth of what it would normally be.

Name: Danketsu: Mantis Slash [Tourouzan]
Description:The user will dash into a target and deliver quick sequence of horizontal, knife hand slashes. The user will gather Chi to their hands in the process, giving their hands the properties of a blade and making them capable of cutting through flesh. This is one of the few techniques that can be repeated in one combo string and each successive attack costs one higher rank of Chi.

Name: Danketsu: One-handed Palm Push [Ichisōtenshu]
Description: A simple yet potentially devastating attack, the Sōtenshu greatly calls upon the Chi control of the user to incapacitate a foe in a non-lethal manner. Placing both palms on an opponent’s chest, the user will force their Chi out through their palms and into their opponent’s body, sending a concussive force through their victim and sufficiently knocking the wind out of them and at most, fracturing a few ribs. Like its parent Technique, the Ichisotenshu carries a similar function, the more precise and less divided expulsion of Chi is far more dangerous however and can damage internal organs if the strike lands directly. The use of this technique requires substantial amount of Chi control and can only be used by clans with immense Chi control or those who have under gone immense training and are specially characterized as having strong control over their Chi.

Name: Danketsu: Twin Tiger Palm Strike [Kobokushi]
Description:This Palm thrust is one of the most useful attacks in the entire Danketsu Chain. Pulling both hands into the chest and standing firmly in the horse stance, the user will coil their body back before thrusting their hands forward, releasing the mass of Chi gathered in the user’s hands in the form of a giant pulse. While being a lot of concussive power and the capacity to repel large objects and potentially end someone’s life, the sheer amount of energy released from the Kobokushi is great enough to dissipate many energy based attacks as well. The rigid form required and the start up time to initialize the move tend to make it difficult to perform on the fly however and as such it cannot be used while mobile.

Name: Danketsu: Upwards Punch [Fukiage]
Description:
The user will dash forward and position themselves under a launched opponent and, cocking their fist from the hip, will proceed to drive their strike under the dazed and launched opponent’s spine, ideally crippling it.

The Chi itself will cause a slightly painful burning sensation with whatever it hits.

Name: Dashing Elbow (Houzanto)
Description: The user will shoot toward their target and in one clean motion will elbow them. The amount of force put into the strike varies with each use of the attack. The straight variation will be a simple accelerated elbow strike whereas the upward variation will launch the opponent into the air.

Name: Danketsu: Tiger Shot
Description: The user will draw Chi to each hand before violently thrusting each palm toward the target. As each source of Chi collides, it will ignite and rocket toward the target at thirty kilometers per hour. This Technique will cause mild burns and the concussive force is enough to daze the target for a moment or two.

Name: Danketsu: Repeating Dash Punches (Rekka Ken)
Description: The user will dash into a target and deliver a quick and painful punch to their target. This is one of the few techniques that can be repeated in one combo string and each use counts as one strike for the Danketsu and Super Meter.

Name: Danketsu: Running Palm (Senkugoshoha)
Description: The user will adopt a strong and firm stand and will slide along the ground five meters toward the target. The user will then thrust his palm from the hip and out, causing a large amount of Chi pressure to emanate from the user forward in a meter long radius cone in front of the user. The pressure will act as a concussive force that will push the victim back up to fifteen meters away from the palm thrust and will also completely dissipate any projectiles in the zone.

Name: Danketsu: Seismic Hammer
Description:The user will first gather Chi of the Electrical variety to their hand before violently slamming the ground. The user can control where the Chi goes anywhere in a twenty meter radius from the point of impact. When it reaches the designated spot, the Chi will effectively detonate underground causing a powerful upward concussive force. If caught near the outside of the blast radius, the victim will be forced backward but if caught directly, they will be launched into the air.

Name: Danketsu: Energy Grab [Raida]

Once the Chi has reached critical mass and the victim is close enough, the gathered energy will explode and violently crash into the victim, pushing them back and away while causing substantial damage.

Name: Danketsu: Rising Jaguar
Description: The user will quickly push off the ground into a violent knee strike that will launch the victim into the air. The move is rather quick and the explosive force to knock the victim into the air.

Name: Danketsu: Flame Kick (Shien Kyaku)
Description: The user will collect Chi to his feet and violently perform an upwards kick. Mid kick, the Chi gathered at the foot will form a thin film and ignite, causing minor burns in addition to launching the target into the air. The film of fire only lasts for the duration of the kick before dissipating.

Name: Danketsu: Repeating Uppercut
Description: The move is a jumping uppercut in which the user spins and rockets upwards with some horizontal movement as well, knocking the opponent into the air and launching them into a perfect position to be combo'd further. The move has an initial first hit that stuns the opponent on contact, and depending on rank, the attack can continue with 1 more hit [C rank] or 2 more hits . At the end the opponent will be launched into the air into a vulnerable position for a follow up.

Name: Danketsu: Sonic Boom
Description: Using the advanced Chi control of the Sumashuu, the user will slice his hands through the air, one over top of the other while focusing Chi at the crossing point. The Chi will be forced forward when the hands push through it and cause it to be jettisoned at a target. The force itself will provide moderate concussive damage, enough to knock a person over and relieve them of their breath while it is capable of causing small cuts if not a direct hit.

Name: Danketsu: Sukuranburu
Description: A movement technique, Sagumi is capable of sending a “phantom” of Chi from his body that is incorporeal and unable to be interacted with through any means short of sight. After sending the phantom out, Sagumi is able to take the place of the phantom, effectively teleporting himself to the location of the phantom, or allowing the phantom to fizzle out on its own. Sagumi is only capable of using one phantom at a time.

Name: Danketsu: Hop Kicks (Dankukyaku)
Description: From an aerial position, the user will perform a series of bicycle kicks and knee strikes on a launched or airborne opponent. This is one of the few techniques that can be repeated in one combo string and each successive attack costs one higher rank of Chi.

Name: Danketsu: Flying Kick (Chicken Wing)

During the kick, the film around their legs will ignite and add cause minor burns. This technique can either be used incredibly low to the ground following a ground maneuver or can be used on a suspended and launched opponent.

Name: Danketsu: THE Knee
Description: The user will gather an immense amount of Electrical Chi to their right knee cap before driving their knee square into the opponent. Upon impact, the Chi will discharge and course through the opponent and cause rampant cellular damage and will violently blow the victim away from the point of impact. This Technique, unlike it's weaker cousin, does extreme amount of damage regardless of how it struck and will do absolutely devastating damage.

Name: Danketsu: The Knee
Description: The user will gather an immense amount of Electrical Chi to their left knee cap before driving their knee square into the opponent. Upon impact, the Chi will discharge and course through the opponent and cause rampant cellular damage and will violently blow the victim away from the point of impact. The Technique requires a direct strike and any form of glancing blow will be no more effective than a simple love tap.

Name: Seikūken [Control of the Air Sphere]
Description: The Seikūken is a defensive style of combat that involves controlling the entire radius within one's arm length/the length of a weapon, creating a metaphorical spherical shield around oneself. This style dramatically speeds up the the user’s reaction time to any attack that enters his sphere of control by absurd levels, allowing the user rather difficult to assail. The Seikūken can only be erected with a calm, still mind. If the practitioner’s mind is not calm, it would be impossible for him or her to erect the Seikūken. Consequently, this technique is meant to be used while stationary and is incredibly difficult and impossible naturally to be used while moving quickly, consequently, slow walking is the full extent of movement possible with this technique.

Name: Danketsu: Super Meter [Tazeisenchi]
Description:  Focusing on wasting as little movement as possible is paramount to any warrior hoping martial arts will define their career and Sagumi took this adage to heart and furthered his prowess in physical combat.  This carries over into Technique as well.  Perfect Chi control is nigh impossible and there is always energy lost while performing Technique.  The Tazeisenchi rectifies this deficiency slightly using the supreme Chi control of the Sumashuu.  Every time Sagumi uses a hand to hand or sword technique, he is able to retain the wasted energy and stockpile it.  With every use of a Technique or KenTechnique technique, Sagumi gains one fifth/half of a “bar.”  He can stockpile four bars total.  Sagumi can then focus this energy into his next hand to hand or sword technique and triple the effectiveness of the attack, multiplying the speed and strength of the technique by five, an EX version of a technique.

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Soulless
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. This is a Technique that implements a combination of attacks and finishing it off with a throw.  First, the user will deliver a powerful blow to the target’s gut that forces all of the Chi accumulated into that gut, stunning them and preventing them from acting for the remainder of the technique.  The remainder of the attacks all come within a fraction of a second of each other, two blows to the solar plexus before a sharp kick to the rib cage followed by a rising palm to the victim’s jaw followed by another strong round house kick to the victim’s head.  While reeling, the user will grab the victim by their wrist before throwing their stunned form in the air before jumping up at their prone and stunned body and grabbing their arm and shoulder before driving them back into the ground, driving the user’s shoulder into their throat.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Jaguar Revolver
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user will leap forward or fly forward and strike the opponent on the top of the head with an overhead axe kick, the initial hit jarring the opponent and stunning them for the remainder of the sequence.  The user will then strike the victim with two weaker overhead axe kick before driving a hard elbow into the victim’s gut which will push them into the air.  From there, the user will unleash a flurry of elbow strikes into the victim’s body, pushing them further into the air before violently kneeing them in the jaw, most likely shattering said jaw and knocking the victim out.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Haru Ranman
Description: This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user will shoot forward low to the ground before delivering two sweeping strikes and forcing the accumulated Chi into the victim’s body and stunning them in the process.  After the strikes, the user will deliver a frightening upward kick that will jettison the victim into the air and the user will quickly move above the user and slam them back into the ground before falling on them with their legs stretched and aiming to snap their spine.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Tanden-Reki
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user of this Technique’s body will overflow with Chi triggered by rage and fury, causing the user’s skinto turn a hue of red and their hair to stand slightly on end. This technique lasts for ten posts. During the duration of this technique, any attack or Technique performed by the user will ten times the damage they normally would.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Seiei-Enbu
Description: This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. This technique is a more powerful version of the Sumashuu Dash Dance technique. By manipulating the Chi accumulating in his body, the user of this Technique is able to cause his body gyrate rapidly, which gives the illusion of quintuple vision simply due to the speed at which the aura of Chi around the user is fluctuating. As a result, any strike or technique used by the user effectively hits its target five times. This technique lasts for ten posts
Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Genei-Jin
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user of this Technique’s body will overflow with Chi triggered by calm and stoic thoughts, causing the user’s skin to turn a hue of blue and their hair to stand to mat down slightly. This technique lasts for ten posts. During the duration of this technique, the speed of all movements done by the user is increased dramatically.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Denjin Hadoken
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user of this Technique will gather the entirety of their excess stored Chi into a ball of electrically charged energy in their palms. The user will then thrust their palms toward their target and jettison this ball of energy toward their target. Upon contact, the ball of Electrical Chi will electrically strike the opponent up to 15 times depending on the directness of the hit. Potentially ripping their body to shreds through the constant flagellation.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Shinku Hadouken
Description: This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost. The user of this Technique will gather the entirety of their excess stored Chi into a ball of intense Fiery energy in their palms. The user will then thrust their palms toward their target and jettison this ball of energy toward their target. Upon contact, the ball of Fire will strike with such an intense concussive force that it will blow through any barriers or defenses without obstruction.

Spoiler:

Name: [Super Art] Danketsu: Burning Dance
Description:  This technique requires four stocks of Super Meter in order to execute as an additional cost.  While airborne, the user will generate Fiery at their feet and use it to rocket them toward a target at speeds surpassing the sound barrier.  The foot will strike the victim’s body and grind them into the ground, stunning them in the process and grinding their bodies along the ground rather violently.  The grinding will last for fifteen meters unless a wall is struck, the user will grind the victim against the wall and launch them airborne.  In a similar function the Kage Buyou, the user will drive themselves upward and instantly into a crossed arm strike to the victims jaw, if successful, the user will force Electrical Chi into the victim and effectively fry their brain, killing them instantly.

Immense Chi: Sagumi is an absurdly powerful human. Even before he passed away on his first time around, the sheer amount of energy that the man’s body housed far outstripped what humans were thought to even be capable and that sheer energy was more than most spiritual beings thought possible. Sagumi is able to utilize this power in a very similar fashion that spiritual beings utilize their Reiatsu. When not consciously suppressing that massive Chi, Sagumi’s mere presence is enough to drag people to their knees, as if they were holding the weight of the world on their shoulders. In conjunction, Sagumi has a near-infinite reserve to utilize the myriad of techniques that he possesses.

Legendary Martial Artist: During his first life, Sagumi was the most accomplished martial artist that his dimension had ever seen. His strikes pierced the greatest defenses and his speed shattered the notion of what people thought possible. When he found his soul wrenched into this world, Sagumi set out to completely master the martial arts of the world he currently resides. Sagumi’s intense physical strength and speed combined with his vast and almost encyclopedic knowledge of various forms of combat make him an absolutely terrifying opponent in close range.

Lifetimes of Knowledge: Sagumi has lived...for a very long time and literally, the man has lifetimes of knowledge at his disposal. Combined with a natural intelligence and an inquisitive mind, Sagumi frequently has answers to whatever problems arise and he can very quickly adapt to new information and react accordingly.

Master of Physics: Through the supreme control of the Sumashuu Chi training and the intense physical training of the man, Sagumi is able to use his Chi to cushion effects placed on himself and completely negate damage that would be dealt to him by his own techniques. Given the insanely premeditated and active nature of this characteristic, Sagumi can only negate damage he himself would commit to himself, any external sources, such as attacks from an enemy, are completely unaffected by this characteristic.

Saṃsāra: Sagumi’s existence is a powerful one, when he first died his level of energy was so monstrous that death alone was not enough to completely prevent his existence in this world and despite his death, his spirit stayed with Nozomi Shugendo, his wife. Given his intensely strong connection with Nozomi and his immense Chi, his soul was pulled into this world by his wife when she made the jump. While he was incapable of possessing a physical body in the previous world, this dimension’s rules however were far more forgiving. It would seem, in this world, the magnitude of Sagumi’s immense being was far too powerful to continue to be denied a physical form. Sagumi was conceived and then born again to the humans of this world.

This process repeats indefinitely. Whenever Sagumi is killed, either by time or by violence, his soul will immediately seek out a fetus in this world and will imprint itself upon it. Sagumi will proceed to be reborn, in an endless cycle of reincarnation. Sagumi’s memories will remain each time he is reborn, allowing him to possess knowledge of everything before him, but his body remains human and he needs to physically mature and grow like a normal human would. Sagumi has tried, but he is unable to escape this cycle of reincarnation and it happens far beyond his capacity to control.

Name: Sumashuu Kempo
Description:By exerting an extreme amount of Chi control, the user of the Sumashuu Kempo can gather Chi and the principle point of contact and, using the momentum of the blow to carry the force, will fire this Chi up to forty meters away from the point of contact, allowing the user to fight with hand to hand techniques at a range.

Name: The Shūhaeru
Description: This technique focuses intently on the precise Chi control. Upon each strike, the Sumashuu is capable of sending a pulse of chi, through their striking limb and emitting a light blue and misty glow in a six inch membrane around the limb. If the membrane comes in contact with an opponent, the chi will overload the victim’s nervous system and cause a temporary stunning effect. This stun lasts for roughly a half-second and is typically not enough to exploit without landing the punch or kick itself. The stun itself does no immediate damage but constant exposure will begin to exhaust the nervous system and slow down the victim’s ability to react. This stun does last long enough to permit the user to initiate numerous follow up techniques.

Name: Rikiten
Description:
A weapon technique of the Sumashuu clan, the Rikiten is a very potent method of wielding a sword. Like the name suggests, the Rikiten focuses on wide swings that greatly amplify the amount of leverage present in a sword swing. Utilizing the user’s chi, the technique will funnel energy into the tip of the sword and using the added leverage and strength from the blow, the user will blow the chi through the person’s body and dramatically amplify the destructive potency, effectively quintupling the force of the attack.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Air Dodge
Description:Another of the more rudimentary Sumashuu techniques, the Sumashuu user will focus Chi to a specific part of their body and expel it from their body. The force of the release is enough to push the Sumashuu two feet away in the opposite direction of the expelled force.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Wave Dash
Description: The Sumashuu, using their heralded fascinating capacity for Chi control, are capable of taking the basic principles of the Water Walking and Tree Climbing techniques and adapting the technique into a more potent and seal-less variant. The Wave Dash uses Chi to create resistance with the ground without the body actually touching the ground and propels the user’s body without ever coming into contact with the ground, allowing the user to hover and move without using their muscles to move. This allows the Sumashuu to maintain a stable stance and perform all manner of physical attacks while moving. Effect lasts until it is released.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Super Smash
Description:Using the exceedingly precise Chi control of the Shumashu Clan, the super smash allows the user to focus Chi to the general area where the Shuumashu’s taijutsu or kenjutsu strike would connect. The Chi will be rapidly compressed and then the tension will be released in an instant, causing a miniature explosion of sorts at the point of impact, greatly increasing the damage the blow can inflict.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Charged Smash
Description:Much like the Super Smash but with far more devastating power, the Shumashuu user of the charged smash can further focus and refine the Chi used at the point of impact and increase the compression and tension before the point of impact and permitting considerably more destructive force. To charge the strike though, the Shumashuu’s muscles must be completely still before the actual strike and must remain so for a few moments before unleashing the technique, giving opponents extra time to react if able. At its base level, the technique is capable of shattering bones and at its highest is capable of leveling mountains.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Trigger Shield
Description:The Sumashuu are capable of projecting tangible Chi around themselves in a red bubble. This bubble is capable of absorbing and deflecting a myriad of threats and is capable of deflecting techniques or strikes by forcing an equal amount of Chi back into the enemy technique, typically creating opposite but equal forces that cancel one another out. The shield is capable of overpowering opposing techniques, and consequently being able to block multiples, or it can be overpowered horribly. The shield can last indefinitely, but the user is incapable of moving while the shield is up.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Trigger Shield: Projection
Description: A variant of the Trigger Shield, the Trigger Shield: Projection is pretty much exactly as the name suggests. The Sumashuu is able to project their trigger shield out and instead of creating a bubble around the user, they will create a two meter wide, curve barrier as if the bubble we split apart and bent in to a shield. This projection is capable of absorbing and deflecting a myriad of threats and is capable of deflecting techniques or strikes by forcing an equal amount of Chi back into the enemy technique, typically creating opposite but equal forces that cancel one another out. The shield is capable of overpowering opposing techniques, and consequently being able to block multiples, or it can be overpowered horribly. The shield can last indefinitely, but the user is incapable of moving any muscle but the one in his arms while the jutsu is active, the Sumashuu being able to control the position of the shield through arm movement. .

Name: Sumashuu Style: Shield Grab
Description: Used in tandem with the trigger shield, the Shield Grab makes the Trigger Shield very adhesive in nature and any taijutsu attack used on the shield will result in the victim being stuck to the shield. From there, the user is capable of holding them in place for one post before the effect is lost manipulating the shield to slam the victim into the ground.

Name: Sagumi Style: Air Dash
Description: Wavedash must be activated for this technique to be utilized. This Wavedash permits the user to create a buffer of Chi between the user and the ground in order to accelerate movement and move using that buffer alone. This technique upgrades the wavedash and permits the user to apply the same effect to the air around them, allowing them to utilize the mass that various gases in the atmosphere have for the Wavedash. Permitting them to use that air to propel them. At C-rank, max altitude is thirty meters. Altitude increases by 30 per rank used.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Moonwalk
Description: An advanced and shorter term use of the Wave Dash, the Moonwalk releases a quick burst of the Chi from the bottom of the feet that serves as almost a jet propulsion. The user can use this to quickly close in or separate from an opponent. Given the nature of the technique, it is possible but difficult to turn with it.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Severed Heaven’s Fast Forced Laceration (SHFFL)
Description:Named while intoxicated and most likely used in the same circumstances, the SHFFL is an extremely potent technique, despite the mouthful of a name. Normally, there is a recovery period where the muscles need to reset after performing an attack. This technique, through use of Chi, allows the body to move again without that recovery period. For example, if the user were to swing a sword horizontally and his victim ducks under it, the SHFFL will allow the user to change the direction of the way the muscles are moving as soon as the brain can process the situation.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Dash Dance
Description:An intriguing technique of the Sumashuu, the Dash dance will first create a small membrane of Chi over the body. Then, the Sumashuu user can cause this membrane to vibrate rapidly; creating an optical illusion that makes it look like the Sumashuu user is being viewed with “triple vision.” The triple images themselves are quite become tangible. The membrane is still incapable of being used in any defensive capacity, but it will effectively triple the effect of any hand to hand or weaponry maneuver. For instance, if a punch would connect to the target’s midriff while under the effects of Dash Dance, the victim would be effectively punched three times simultaneously.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Power Shield
Description: An advanced and infinitely more potent variation of the Trigger Shield, the Power shield is only capable of stay active for a moment, but serves a much more useful function than the Trigger Shield. Timing the impact point of the opponent’s technique perfectly, the Shumashuu is capable of activating the Power Shield at the exact point of impact and reflecting the technique back at the person who used it. This technique requires perfect timing and consequently requires a set-up. The user cannot use this on a whim and requires perfect stillness and concentration. The user has to be concentrating on the person firing the technique to reflect it.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Hand Shield
Description: An advanced and infinitely more potent variation of the Trigger Shield, the user will form a very dense, very small barrier around the entirety of the user’s hand. This technique allows the user to catch and halt the motion of any attack that is small enough for the user to catch, allowing them to dramatically catch opposing sword strikes and other equally dramatic instances.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Repeating Grapple
Description:Utilizing the Wave Dash and the Shield Grab simultaneously, one the user has the victim caught in the shield grab, he is capable of throwing the victim in to the ground and wave dashing in to the target again to reapply the adhesive effect before slamming the victim once again in to the ground. The user is capable of repeating this process four times before the jutsu ends.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Perfect Transformation
Description: Sagumi has developed the ability, using his Chi, to completely change what he is in the eyes of other beings. Unlike other abilities that mask the users presence or energy output, Sagumi's transformation completely overwrites his normal pressure, causing him, for all intents and purposes, to be whatever creature he has transformed in to. This does not grant him the powers of any other race and it is capable to be reverted instantly, making it an effective camouflage for people actively searching for him.

 photo Fuuinjutsu_zps8d703b42.png

Fuuinjutsu, literally translated as Sealing Technique, is the art of using a myriad of symbols that, when activated and laden with Chi, will perform a variety of different effects. Sagumi, his interactions with Nozomi and his own increase in power, has slowly begun to further attune himself to the power and potential he once had and has begun to further awaken his old capabilities and at the moment that involves Sagumi reawakening his knowledge and proficiency with Fuuinjutsu.

The seals, or symbols, themselves vary depending on the specific technique that Sagumi wishes to employ and these effects vary rather widely but a constant they share is that they each need to be marked upon a solid object. There are currently three ways for Sagumi to apply a seal to an object. The first and probably most obvious is drawing the seal itself, either in ink, in pencil, in blood, carving it with a knife, the method does not especially matter but Sagumi is capable of drawing the appropriate symbols and triggering the fuuinjutsu technique through them.

The other two options are a little more flexible and less time consuming, but carry their own problems. Sagumi is capable of mentally creating a seal on whatever object he can place his palm against. The Sumashuu will visualize the seal he wishes to employ and upon placing his palm upon an object, that symbol will be etched into the object. Seals applied in this fashion will last for five posts. The final method allows Sagumi to etch one of the symbols into an object he is looking at by visualising the seal and forcibly imposing it upon the object. This requires the man’s Chi, or at least the residual left behind from his chi, to be inside the object. Consequently he can only apply a seal through line of sight if his Chi had coursed through the object at some time three posts or less prior to the application. These seals themselves are impossible to remove without either cancelling the Chi used in their creation or physically destroying the object they are placed upon, unfortunately they will only last two posts before dissipating of their own accord.

Soaring Divine Bellow:

Sumashuu Sagumi [Chi Human: 0-2++] 2daittv

One of Sagumi’s more potent Fuuinjutsu and quite handily his favorite, the Soaring Divine Bellow allows Sagumi to instantly transport himself to one of the seals depicted above. Once Sagumi has marked an object with the Soaring seal, he is capable of utilizing the technique to instantly teleport to the target location provided there is enough open space for his body to materialize. This technique is not movement in the sense that Sagumi travels from point A to point B however and is instead a manipulation of space and time to forcibly insert himself in to existence at point B. Consequently this technique cannot be tracked by things that track movement or even really track energy in general. Of course, Sagumi is only capable of materializing at the location of the seals, making this technique somewhat obvious and slightly predictable if it is effectively analyzed. The technique is not only applicable to Sagumi however as the man is capable of extending the teleportation effect unto others as well. Sagumi can utilize the Soaring Diving Bellow to transport an object marked with the Soaring Seal to another object marked with the Soaring Seal. He is also capable of transporting anything touching a Soaring Seal to another Soaring Seal as well.

Contract Seal:

 photo ContractSeal_zpsae90ac05.png

While oddly named, this seal is one of Sagumi’s more potent abilities. When placed upon a person or object, it will immediately neutralize any supernatural powers that said object or person can produce, manipulate, or in anyway utilize for as long as the seal is etched upon them. The seal will revert released Zanpakutos in to their original state, it will shut off a Shinigami’s ability to use Kido, it will completely neutralize any and all powers whatsoever and will reject any and all transformations back to their unreleased states until the seal is either forcibly removed or dissipates on its own(article of clothing the seal was placed on is removed, skin it is etched into is cut, etc). This version of the seal may not be applied through sight and will only last three posts. However, Sagumi has also created a variation of the Contract Seal that, with a minor alteration in the Fuuinjutsu formula, allows Sagumi to reject the supernatural energy of anything coming in to contact with the Contract Seal. The most common practices involving this is to apply the seal to his own palm or to a trigger shield and allow it to completely cut through all form of shields or powers or anything of the sort. Unfortunately, the alteration in the seal requires a considerable amount of Chi to maintain and as such it cannot be used for more than one post before the strain is simply too much for Sagumi to handle and may not be used again for five posts to allow his body to rest from the strain.

Explosive Seal:

Sumashuu Sagumi [Chi Human: 0-2++] Exploding-tag

Unlike its predecessor on this list, the Explosive Seal is very, very aptly named. After marking an object, the Explosive seal, through use of Sagumi’s chi, will detonate and the explosion actually has two phases. The Chi will initially expand at about 26,400 feet per second (8,050 meters per second), applying a huge amount of force to everything in the surrounding area(30 meters). The initial expansion inflicts most of the damage. It also creates a very low-pressure area around the explosion's origin -- the gases are moving outward so rapidly that they suck most of the gas out from the "middle" of the explosion. After the outward blast, chi and gases rush back into the partial vacuum, creating a second, less-destructive inward energy wave. In addition to this, Sagumi is capable of layering multiple explosive seals on top of one another which, instead of generating a new explosion, allows him to exponentially increase the force and blast radius of the Explosive Seal. Weaving another seal into an existing seal is a taxing effort however and consequently makes it difficult to layer too many on top of one another and it takes time, each layer taking one post to form. At the present time, Sagumi can only layer the seal three times before his Chi reserves are too taxed to continue.

Evil Restraining Seal:

Sumashuu Sagumi [Chi Human: 0-2++] Curse_Sealing_Step_1

Sagumi developed this technique, initially, to have a defense mechanism in place in the event his wife, a Jinchuuriki, were to succumb to the monster’s influence and the thing’s power needed to be further sealed away. While this was a weapon against others like his wife in the old world, it never saw much use. Nozomi maintained control over Xaser and he never had any serious altercations with others of her kind. In this world however, many people with situations similar to his wife exist, the word “Ziamichi” being prescribed to them. The Evil Restraining Seal is capable of completely shutting off the host body’s connection to their inhabiting spirit and completely severing the connection for as long as the seal is in place. This can also be used to block out all forms of possessions and other spiritual or otherwise bodies inhabiting another. Unlike his other seals, all methods of the Evil Restraining Seal are permanent unless physically destroyed.

Replacement Seal:

Sumashuu Sagumi [Chi Human: 0-2++] Body_Replacement

Following similar principles to the Soaring Divine Bellow, this technique takes it one step further and allowed Sagumi to instantly switch the position of himself and the marked object. Once the technique is utilized, time will seem to stand still for a moment, if an attack were to hit him it would seem as if it had connected for a few moments before the reality that he had never actually been struck at all sets in. In a puff of smoke, Sagumi's body will have completely replaced its position with the position of the marked object. There are some restrictions however. In order to utilize the technique, the object must be of similar mass to Sagumi and must be within two hundred meters of his position in order to properly switch places with it.

Tenyuki:

Physical Description:

The Kashira, or buttcap, of the sword is the first unique ornament the weapon possesses. Instead of a traditional and small kashira, the weapon boasts a large, curved, tear drop shaped end piece. The kashira has two circular indentations in the metal, the top indentation being a half centimeter smaller than the bottom. The kashira is the only unusual ornament on the tsuka(handle) however. The rest of the handle is rather normal with a green, braided covering to provide proper grip and silver same(rayskin). The Fuchi or collar of the blade begins to catch the eye again. The Fuchi is a bulky mass that forms a diamond shape with two prongs jutting out to either side. There are numerous indentations, notches, and inscriptions littering the Fuchi but they appear to be little more than decoration. The saya or scabbard is a pretty standard issue vibrantly bright blue and stretches down the length of the blade into a small, silver tip. The blade itself is equally unremarkable apart from being magically clear of blemishes or scarring.

Special Abilities: Despite its rather illustrious and fantastical name, translating loosely to heaven’s snow, Tenyuki itself did not originally have any special powers. However, through Sagumi’s monstrous amount of Chi, the man is able to radiate his own life energy into the blade and offering it absurd destructive power. It boasts cutting power equivalent to a Zanpakutō and Sagumi has smashed through buildings with its sheer strength on multiple occasions. Through this channeled power, the weapon is more than capable of destroying all manner of spiritual being and, while rather useless in the hands of another, is a rather potent instrument of destruction in the hands of Sagumi. However, as Sagumi's powers at imprinting his Chi on to objects has grown, Tenyuki has developed additional powers.

Tenyuki's power now more accurately suits its name, in a way. Tenyuki carries the power of sublimation of hydrogen dioxide. When Tenyuki slashes in to an object or within a six inch margin of one, the weapon will cause the air around the wound or intended impact zone to have the hydrogen dioxide violently ripped from it, immediately forcing it in to a gaseous state. This is used in conjunction with a rapid freezing of the surrounding area which in conjunction with the rapid dehydration of the area forces a state of “freezer burn” on to the area around the wound. Practically, this causes considerably more cellular damage than a normal strike would while simultaneously making the dead tissue increasingly difficult to mend.

Gekijouyari:

Physical Description:

Gekijouyari is a Qiang, or a Chinese spear. Gekijouyari is made of wax wood, a strong but flexible wood. It bends to absorb impact preventing breakage. The bending motion combined with the horsehair tassel makes the spear tip very hard to follow. Below the leaf shaped blade in the tubular section that attaches the head of the spear to the wax wood staff there is a hole drilled, when the spear is spun at speed it generates a whistle, this whistle would serve to distract an opponent. Inside the tubular section a ball bearing moves around freely giving a rattle, this also helped to stop blood from congealing inside the tubular section and help to force blood out of the whistle hole keeping it clear.

Special Abilities: Despite its rather illustrious and fantastical name, translating loosely to Furious Spear, Gekijouyari itself has but one special ability and, thankfully, it translates quite well to Sagumi's skill set. Through Sagumi’s monstrous amount of Chi, the man is able to radiate his own life energy into the blade and offering it absurd destructive power. In addition, the spear itself carries one special ability when Sagumi channels his Chi through it. If used as a projectile, Sagumi’s can utilize the Chi he has funneled through the weapon dissipate it and have it instantly re-materialize in his hand instantly without expending energy through Fuuinjutsu. In addition, the piercing power of the weapon is so great that merely cutting through the air is enough to generate massive, concussive sonic booms that Sagumi can funnel toward a target, giving the weapon a double layered assault.

Gekiryuu:

Physical Description:
Gekiryuu is a pair of azure gauntlets and are not especially imposing past that point. The weapon themselves are pretty run of the mill, metal plating, infused with Sagumi's Chi, runs along the length of his hand to half way up his forearm. The tips of his fingers come to a point, offering a metal claw to augment his physical attacks if need be.

Special Abilities: Gekiryuu, through Sagumi’s monstrous amount of Chi, is able to funnel Sagumi's chi through it, to radiate his own life energy into the gauntlet and offering it absurd destructive power. It boasts destructive power of the weapon equivalent to a Zanpakutō and Sagumi has smashed through buildings with its sheer strength on multiple occasions. Through this channeled power, the weapon is more than capable of destroying all manner of spiritual being and, while rather useless in the hands of another, is a rather potent instrument of destruction in the hands of Sagumi. In addition, the gauntlet is able to funnel his Chi through it further, developing a sharp protrusion of pure energy that offers a truly terrifying, puncturing, aspect to his strikes. Also additionally, Chi can be forcibly ejected from the gauntlet in the opposite direction, through carefully angling his fist, Sagumi is capable of using this ejection to rocket his strikes through the target, drastically enhancing the destructive power of his attacks.

Name: Fragarach [The Retaliator]
Weapon Type: Twin Swords. [Spear]
Weapon Classification: SS Rank [Morph Weapon]
Description: These weapons are created with a special type of metal from the Sugiuran realm called Adamantite. What the strange thing about this weapon is that the twin swords are capable of making a long range spear. The Dominant hand sword is a bit longer than the non dominant sword hand. While this is the case, the shorter sword is more geared towards blocking and piercing, and the longer sword is more for slashing. The blades are shades of blue on the inside and on the outside a brilliant white colored. The handles are matte in color and usually are black until they are made into the spear and then they take on a dark shade of grey, the longer sword is mainlly the shaft and handle of the spear and the shorter sword is the spear head and connection to the shaft of the spear once it's created into that state the weapon is about 8ft long in total with a blade being around 2 feet and having a reach of six feet. This weapon was created by Kaito in mind with the complex fighting styles of Sagumi. This weapon is super light because of the material constructed, and super strong so it's nearly impossible to break unless someone could break that strong material. The weakness is that he can only shift the swords into the spear, but it takes a post for it to shift into a spear, and another post to shift out of it. It can channel the types of energy that Sagumi has, as long as it's channelable, and won't explode in his face.

Satsujinki:

Sumashuu Sagumi [Chi Human: 0-2++] Crowe_render_form

Special Abilities: Sagumi's Akagai is one of the finest pieces of engineering that the planet has ever seen and is one of the few things pieces of machinery that can effectively utilize Sagumi's absolutely terrifying energy levels AND supplement them further. The Satsujinki, while utilized, pushes Sagumi's Chi beyond its normal limits, effectively increasing each Chi parameter one level beyond its current threshold. Should the level not be able to increase further, the maximum threshold is instead doubled. In addition, the Satsujinki comes equipped with two hollow cylinders that are designed specifically to funnel Sagumi's Chi through them, forming two swords entirely comprised of concentrated Chi. These weapons are comparable to a Shinigami Bankai in terms of sheer destructive power and Sagumi can maintain them with very little effort.

» Awakened Appearance: Sagumi’s appearance itself does not change very much once he is put in to his Awakened state, the only differences comes in the form of his chi-formed hairband shattering and his eyes glowing a rather ominous bright red.  Other than the glowing eyes and the now completely flowing hair, Sagumi has the same appearance he does normally.

» Awakened Powers:

State of Self-Actualization:  Sagumi’s awakening power comes in three parts and each part offers him a wider range of freedom with his techniques in addition to some new ones.

Name: State of Self Actualization: Pinnacle of Hard Work [Muga no Kyochi: Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami]
Description:  The first door of the Muga no Kyochi, Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami, overflows Sagumi’s body with even more Chi, pushing the levels of convention even further, while giving him access to new, special techniques as well.  Muga no Kyochi: Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami itself will cause Sagumi to constantly generate one bar of super stock each post, regardless of what he is doing.

Name: Shukuchi (Reducing Earth)
Description: Sagumi, utilizing his already extraordinary speed, has found a way to push his speed even further with the overburst of chi granted to him by the Muga no Kyochi: Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami.. The Shukuchi is a style of footwork developed by Sagumi to allow him to, using the aforementioned chi to overload his physical parameters, allows him to travel at the speed of sound. By hopping in place for a few moments, building up momentum, Sagumi is able cause his body to rocket forward at incredible pace and then use that further momentum to maintain that incredible speed. To initiate the footwork required for this style though Sagumi must hop in place for a few moments to build up the necessary momentum, meaning it cannot be used on reaction and if at any time the momentum stops, Sagumi must take the time to initiate the use of the Shukuchi again.

Name: Inner Eye
Description: While Sagumi, being a trained martial artist, has always had a certain capacity to sense when he is about to be assailed or feel the ebb and flow of a fight and predict his opponent’s moves, the Inner Eye gives him an almost perfect clerical picture.  By studying his opponent and understanding their movements, even to the point of synchronizing his breathing with his opponent, Sagumi is able to react to their movements at an almost clairvoyant level, seemingly perpetually one step ahead of them.  He isn’t, of course, seeing the future, not really, but he is capable of reading his opponent’s so intently and so precisely that he knows what they are going to do as, and sometimes before, they do.  This ability can be disrupted if the opponent understands and detects what Sagumi is doing and completely reinvents their style of fighting, but the likelihood of someone being able to sucessfully do such a thing is astronomically low.

Name: State of Self Actualization: Pinnacle of Wisdom [Muga no Kyochi: Saiki Kanpatsu no Kiwami]
Description:  The second and most frightening door of the Muga no Kyochi, Ten'i Muhō No Kiwami, further causes the chi in Sagumi’s body to boom, overloading his body with chi and causing the space around him to seemingly warp from the sheer power and further augment his Shukuchi. Muga no Kyochi: Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami itself will cause Sagumi to constantly generate two bars of super stock each post, regardless of what he is doing.  Muga no Kyochi: Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami needs to be active for three posts before the second door may be opened.

Name: Complete Shukuchi
Description: The Complete Shukuchi utilizes the next big rush of Chi to dramatically increase the speed of Sagumi’s Shukuchi.  While in the Pinnacle of Wisdom, Sagumi’s Shukuchi allows him to reach Mach 1 speeds.  Unlike the regular Shukuchi however, these level of speed are too much for Sagumi to properly maneuver with, despite the extra chi, and as such it is difficult for him to change directions or otherwise control his body, forcing him to restrict his movements to straight lines instead of having the full range of maneuverability that he would normally possess.

Name: Perfect Shukuchi
Description:  The use of this technique alters the effect of the Shukuchi for the remainder of the thread. When used, the jutsu will emit an immense pressure around the user as he's moving, almost pushing everything else aside. In addition, due to the immense amount of pressure that the jutsu emanates with the user's movements, when moving the user will cut through the air so intensely that it will push aside anything in the air that would do the user harm.  As such, any attacks that Sagumi would otherwise sustain when using the Shukuchi or the Complete Shukuchi are completely and utterly overpowered and neutralized.  This protection only applies in a forty five degree angle in front of him however, so despite being completely invulnerable to head on attacks, Sagumi is still very susceptible to off angle attacks.

Teni Muhō no Kiwami (Pinnacle of Perfection)
 photo Awakening_zpsb9a04363.jpg
» Fully Awakened Powers:

Triumvirate: When fully awakened, Sagumi is, for all intents and purposes, a being of pure Chi. The man's parameters are drastically increased in this state and the raw damage on any and all of his abilities is dramatically increased in potency. Beyond the typical, raw and dramatic, increases to those parameters, Sagumi's Fully Awakened state manifests in to three distinct forms of energy manipulation. In addition, Sagumi is only able to maintain this form for five posts before he is forced to revert to his base and completely unawakened state.

Perseverance: While Fully Awakened, Sagumi, and all energy from him, is unable to be absorbed or tampered with in any way. This does not excuse Sagumi from damage however, as any destructive forces are able to damage his energy based form and his attacks are still able to be blocked or redirected, this ability merely prevents any outside forces from directly influencing his energy composition and consequently himself while the sheer overload of his immensity preventing anyone from absorbing his energy.

Creation: Sagumi's final awakening ultimately tampers with multiple laws of physics, in this case the conservation of energy. In this form, Sagumi is actively able to create energy from nothing, effectively giving him an infinite reserve of power while in this state. Given his energy based form as well, Sagumi is effectively able to completely heal and rejuvenate his body through the entirety of the duration of this form, allowing him to heal through things that may otherwise be fatal. Fatal wounds however detract a post from the full duration of the Triumvirate awakening to heal.

Destruction: Again, laughing at the rules of physics, Sagumi is also capable of completely destroying energy as well. In this form, any form of energy that comes in to contact with any energy from Sagumi is subject to Sagumi completely destroying the energy of the object. This effect can range anywhere from destroying the kinetic energy of an object and completely halting its movement to completely destroying the energy of an incoming energy attack. If Sagumi's energy maintains contact with a living or spiritual being, he can completely destroy their energy and consequently, themselves.
