The battle between Cirno Iramasha and Sagumi will be taking place within a large, run down temple. This temple is held up magically within a sky showing no means of ground beneath them. With many expansive and wide areas to fight, the Temple itself also holds many secrets. Small corridors, large church-like rooms and mini courtyards hidden within, the temple itself is a wonderful Arena to house the two powerhouses. Let the match between The Baka Iramasha and The Martial Arts Master Begin!

Artist: Fromadistance - Song: Wonderful Heaven - Word Count: 1352

Excitement was filling all throughout the known realms of the universe. There was an opportunity for the strongest of each dimension to prove themselves in a tournament of might, power and will. It was called the Platinum Heart Tournament and the prize of this interdimensional brawl was equivalent to the Holy Grail for the final victor. Therefore, there wasn't the slightest shred of doubt that the greatest champions, heroines, villains and warriors from all the known lands were going to thrust themselves into this competition to prove their worth and fight for this holy prize.

So it served as no surprise that the likes of The Angel Of The Ice was going to put herself into this tournament. As soon as she came in contact with the Platinum Heart, she accepted its offer and told all those in Iramasha Town square that she was going off to fight a grand battle. There was a large crowd gathered around her as she stood upon a tall podium declaring her desire to fight. Many people weren't sure what to think of this scene. Some believed she was a fool, others assumed she could pull it off with enough moxy and many were just plain amused by the spectacle taking place.

However, as her sky blue eyes looked towards the heavens, the little angel had faith that something good would come of her taking part in this tournament. That feeling came from her innate desire to campaign for assist others. While it was true some of her driving intentions to join this competition were based around wanting to test her strength, that wasn't her sole motive for wanting to take the heart. After having seen how hard life has been for those outside of the Iramasha Clan, The Icy Fairy wanted to use the power of the Platinum Heart to improve the lives of those consumed by sorrow, poverty, powerlessness, disaster, hardship and death.

Thus, one could say her overall goal in this contest was to find a way to better help those people. As, overall, Cirno couldn't care less about possessing that power for herself is she couldn't share it to aid others. That is the primary reason why the Angel joined up with the ranks of the Iramasha Guard: to serve and protect others. Hence, with these intentions in mind, the little Iramasha would use it as a pillar of internal strength to lean on to get herself through the challenges that were sure to come.

As, with all things in the universe, time was moving fast and the moment of truth was arriving. The Platinum Heart had assembled for all of its combatants, arranged the battlefields and was ready for this Iramasha to prove her worth to it. To that end, Cirno sensed its call and knew it was time for her to go. As a result, she then found herself consumed by a beam of white light. It caused the fairy's baby blue hair, ocean blue dress and azure head bow to wave wildly in the wind as she started ascending into the heavens.

"Well, it looks like this it! I want you all to wish me the best luck possible! I've got to win the Platinum Heart if I'm to make a difference in this mess the world is in! Just like a true champion of good would!"

With her eyes on the prize, the voice of The Iramasha was as ecstatic as ever. Of course there was the strong reality that she couldn't achieve what she said, but winners don't spend their time thinking about failure. Instead, they act and fight in spite of the odds which are stacked against them. So as the crowds of people started waving, cheering and shouting off good will for The Angel of The Ice to do well in her matches; Cirno gave them all a thumbs up before she was transported away.

It all occurred in a flash. By the time Cirno opened her eyes to the world around her, it was clear that she was taken headfirst into the battlefield. As her black mary jane shoes clacked against the hard pavement, the little angel started walking along until she realized she was standing over a bridge which overlooked many types of different temples, corridors and courtyards. Blinking out of surprise, her wings icy wings started to flutter and take in the hazy, sunny sights as it seemed like the arena could expand on forever.

Granted, upon further inspection, a lot of these seemed somewhat worn down. Dust covered the arena like a plague, cracks were seen across many of the buildings and overall it looked like this place was long since abandoned. So it made for the perfect setting for two powerful warriors to fight until their hearts content. It made Cirno sigh in relief as it least she wouldn't have to worry about dragging others into this fight in case she got another psycho opponent. And, on that line of thought, a brief image of a crimson haired individual named Sou Yuuki would pass in her mind. Shuddering, she'd hope her next opponent wouldn't be anything like him.

In any event, she needed to brace herself for combat. She didn't have the luxury of sitting around and enjoying the view for too long. Her foe could arrive at any second! Therefore, the area became chilled as The Angel of the Ice started gathering a fair volume of her inner energy to the surface. It caused the area to have a blue-tint to it as a faint, pearl light emitted from her body. In the off chance she wouldn't get a chance to recover, The Icy Fairy figured she was going to need to fight at an even pace and save the flashy stuff for last ditch efforts.

So, as a gentle breeze flew over, the blue light faded and The Angel of The Ice succeeded in making herself prepped. The reason she summoned this aura was to make her body as on-point as possible. Senses were augmented to be on high-alert, energy was ready to be used at a moments notice for strong attacks and her mind was accelerating with numerous thoughts to think fast on her feet. There was no telling who was going to show up and she needed to be prepared for anything!

Henceforth, as a holographic screen filled with neon-white text emerged in the skies above, Cirno's head tilted only a few moments after its appearance to zoom on the text and see who she would be fighting.

"MATCH BEGINNING: CIRNO IRAMASHA VS SAGUMI SUMASHUU SET...."

After the booming males voice echoed across the arena, an image of both Cirno -- and Sagumi appeared on the screen. In that moment, the face of The Iramasha almost turned white. That -- man -- was the same whom she encountered in Australia. The same person who was there when the world of The Angel Iramasha turned upside down and saw that ugly sight of murder and decay. Of all the opponents she could face in the universe, how did someone from that city, from that day, end up being her foe?

"Heh....I guess this isn't going to be a smooth ride, eh?"

Was what The Ice Fairy muttered to herself in a quiet tone as she snickered and shook her head. Whatever. She had gotten pass that day and this would be the best time to bury that hatchet. No good came of lamenting on the past and this would prove to be the perfect opportunity to finally put those demons to rest. Going head to head with this man now meant that she would be facing some of the terrors from those days once more. So, with an exhaling of breath, Cirno mentally prepared herself and motioned with her fist for Sagumo to come out:

"Alright, come out Cherry Man! We've got business to settle!"

With a wide and happy grin, Cirno washed away that despaired and welcomed her opponent to step forth into the ring and present himself to her -- for better or worse.

[adm]Since I am trying to speed things along in the event, and it's been about a week, I'd like to just issue a notice for Ima. Sagumi has about a week to post something. If something isn't posted, then Cirno will be considered winner by default. [/adm]

Geez, that Mr.Sagumi sure was fast and in a hurry to get this match started. Cirno was at least expecting some dramatic dialogue or something, but the man spoke not a single word and dived headfirst into battle. So, there wasn't anything left to do but let her battle instincts guide her and worry about the rest later. Thus, the first thing that The Angel's perception warned her of was that an impending funnel of air was coming straight for her right shoulder. Therefore, the first response was to evade it if at all possible. So, the first response given to her body was an increase in the production of reishi within her legs and feet. Following that, The Iramasha received a quick buff in speed in order to dodge the attack and then position herself atop of Sagumi from behind by leaping into the air.

Without wasting anytime, she accelerated herself further and sought to deliver a sound and damning kick to the base of his skull in the form of a hard drop kick. All the while, as she gathered up space to perform the attack, a flare of crystal blue light was also seen erupting around the right leg used to deliver this strike. This is because she applied her ability to produce and manipulate ice in order to make the muscles and bones within her body two times denser than before. In turn, this would worsen the effects of her kick and hopefully prove to leave a mark if this blow were to make contact with the male.

However, now wasn't the time to get sloppy. This needed a follow up attack and Cirno's entire body became devoured within an azure light. The air was becoming colder around them and The Little Angel knew that her body was going to be as durable as possible. There was a pulsation of fear quivering in her thought as she knew not what her opponent was fully capable of. But, as her heart accelerated, as to do her adrenaline and desire to see this thing through to the end. So there was excitement and fear in the unknown of this battle. And that rush would be used to help her move even faster than before in this next surge of attacks.

In a blink, and in a hurry, the Iramashsa darted to the males right flank and sought to apply a frigid punch to his spine. With enough impacting force to shatter a few city blocks, a blow such as this one could indeed prove to be difficult for a human if they were tallied up and spammed. So -- that is exactly what the child to. A strike to his kidneys, shoulder blades, gut, kneecaps and ankles soon followed with great force and kinetic stride. Eventually, as she got lower and lower, the child brought herself back up and applied a higher amount of power into her next move: a clear uppercut to his chin to send him hurdling into a building above them if it at all possible.

Granted, even if none of these were successful, the girl was at least getting her feet wet and attempting to test the waters to see where it would get her. And, with her aura protecting her, it was a reasonable zone to place herself at risk in. For if the male were to strike her while this arctic light embodied The Ice Child, then he would notice that her body, even for someone of supernatural capacities, was hard and thick. That isn't to say he couldn't hurt her, but he'd need to start putting more pressure on her because any hits made in exchange to The Fairy could be like punching brick: hard and very bloody for the knuckles.

But alas, what did she know? For all she knew this guy could have enough physical strength to blow through entire countries. It certainly wouldn't surprise given the last raving lunatic of a human she fought in Black World. So, for her sake, The Iramasha's conscious mind hoped he wasn't as psychotic as that damn Sou Yuuki. She didn't need anymore deranged psycho's with powers of mass destruction going full primal today.

Digressing, after her assaults were finished, The Iramasha would then make a move to spread the distance between the two following her strikes. Therefore, she'd utilize Chaos Warp in order to transport herself in a short distance of roughly a half city block away from Sagumi so that she may observe if her attacks had any effect or not. And, if it didn't, prepare herself fore the next round of blows that were surely to come. However, in this lull, while her defenses were high, her curiosity was higher. So, prepared to counter at a moments notice, the girl would engage in a dialogue with the male and ask this simple question:

"Do you hate me for what I did in Australia? You know....to that girl....?"

Words coming off as a timid and fragile, there was a sense of regret, shame and worry for if he did indeed recall that brawl back in Australia with vivid detail . As, most of all, she was ashamed of herself for allowing her emotions to get the better of her and go overboard in that clash. A clash -- which resulted in Shisome being left as a vegetable back in the depths of Karakura CIty Hospital. A clash -- that resulted in the immense heartache of The Moon God for years to come. A clash -- that changed the very perception and mindset of The Angel of The Ice and brought her first bitter taste of the real world.

So, among all these self-centered thoughts and remorseful sentiments, the child had to wonder: did anything change with this man from that day as well? Given the meshed up memories of great disdain and hostility, the viewpoint from Cirno seemed to lead her to believe that perhaps he had a great history with that woman. And, if this was the cause, did the male even care about what she did?

These were nagging questions, and while the Iramasha child should be concerned with the fight, her mind couldn't help but wonder ever so slightly as she prepared herself for whatever may come next.

Artist: Kenji Yamamoto - Song: The Battle With All My Force - Word Count: 1514

If there was something Cirno did gain from her initial attack it was the fact that she understood Sagumi was a pretty fast individual. And after having deduced that, The Angel soon realized that she was going to have to be far more on point with her assaults than that. Thus, as their clash continued, the frigid fairy started feeling him out and getting a sense of what her opponent could do. From her perception, he seemed to be the type that was relatively flexible and nimble in his techniques. Judging from the way he guided her attack, Cirno understood that this was going to be more tricky than once anticipated and soon learned when to pull back after the next few assaults brought her not much success.

Hence, instead, The Angel of The Ice focused on seeing where her strike to the gut would go. As it turned out, the male was able to otherwise push away the attack, but it seemed to come at a price as she noticed a bruise forming on his forearm. Therefore, that's when a light ticked on in her head that perhaps she should continue to further harden her defenses. At the very least it would make it a more risky gamble to otherwise hit her. Therefore, Cirno decided to harden the ice around and within her body even more in order to give herself a better edge than before. Organs were reinforced, bones strengthened and skin as frigid as the depths of the antarctic; the frozen constructs of her winter armor were coming to the threshold at this point.

Should he come in for another assault at this point without proper precautions, then there would be a high chance of him suffering a much worse fate than a bruised forearm. The sheer cold from her body could very well induce frostbite, chilblains, frostnip and outright hypothermia with how harsh the temperatures dipped while within a range of one hundred fifty meters of The Iramasha. And, at the same time, the hardness of Cirno's body may very well force him to otherwise apply more enhanced means of combat. As, without it, the augmented durability The Angel attained from her ice could very continue to harm and injure his limbs each time he went in for a strike.

Ergo, as Sagumi maintained constant close-range contact with the frozen child, the further danger he placed himself in succumbing to the winter elements. That is why The Iramasha didn't seem to be in too much of a rush for him to leave her range at this point. It allowed her an opportunity to see what kind of foe she was up against along with adding in some additional damage. Which is why when Cirno's fist collided with Sagumi's foot there would yielded a decent chance of him straining it or injuring it in some way or another with the combination of these factors against Sagumi's favor.

Furthermore, since Cirno's senses were on edge, she kept notice of the details around the males body and noticed, prior to him kicking her, that he seemed to have a blue aura around him. Now, she was very well-versed in supernatural combat, and it didn't take a genius to figure out that whatever that light was -- it wasn't good. So, out of a counteractive response did The Angel of The Ice produce a makeshift barrier across her arm just strong enough to deflect the effects of Shuhaeru away from him. For, instead of hitting Cirno's skin did it come into contact with this dense shield produced by her energized constructs.

When the smoke cleared, The Angel Of The Ice never took her eyes off this opponent. From the way he maneuvered his body it was clear enough that he wasn't a mook to her. Judging by what she could sense, he was going to be a bit of trouble and she needed to proceed with caution. This fear was going to be what guided her instincts in this fight and help move her to victory if she could make it her weapon. Which is why she now understood that perhaps it was going to be a wise move to otherwise try and evade his kicks as much as possible. That blue aura devouring the male's feet gave her an ominous feeling and she didn't want to find out what it did.

And what was more disturbing is the fact she otherwise felt him channeling his energy into something around them. So, from her battle instinct, Cirno could tell he was setting something elaborate up. The question was: just what had he been planning? Well, she wasn't gonna figure out sitting around like a bump on a log. With a simple release of spiritual energy did she otherwise produce a destructive shock wave around an area comparable to three city blocks. In this eruption of power did she otherwise aim to obliterate every single structure until nothing was left and they were otherwise fighting in mid air. Hopefully, whatever she sensed would be destroyed in the process as well.

More importantly, this sudden explosion pressure and air formed a wall of energy that expanded and otherwise acted as a forced to repel and crush Sagumi's body. It could induce stress to his organs such as his lungs being breathless or outright crushed through swelling and bleeding of those blood vessels; while hollow organs of the gastrointestinal tract would be subjected to intense damage that could otherwise produce extreme pain for Sagumi that would be long-lasting. While the other primary injury would be to his ears as the over pressure could inflict injury upon him to temporarily lower or remove his hearing outright and take away his sense of balance. Something, which she noticed he seemed to use a lot against her earlier.

With that said, there would be a ton of projectiles from the rubble sent flying in the air from Cirno's attack as well. These were all moving at sub-sonic speeds and propelled objects could become embedded in Sagumi's body rather quickly. This may result in extensive blood lost within the bodies cavities and serve to further lower his health. While, the additional element of her ice also helped to accelerate the danger factor of these fast moving chunks of earth. Spreading for hundreds of meters all other, this entire area turned into a hellish zone ripe with the potential to skewer and maim her human foe. Lastly, through a final push back from the shock wave could he then suffer crushing injuries to his bones and organs and otherwise be sent hurdling like a rock to wherever he may fall.

And with all this taking place at the same time, there was a rather high chance his kick would have otherwise been negated or blocked by either the wall of shock waves occurring or through a means of random pieces of frozen debris abstracting his path. Thinking fast on her feet, she needed to figure out a way to turn this into her favor quick. Since he was relatively fast and able to counter her before, she may have to get big in return. And thus: that's the direction she'd go!

"Celestial Crusher: Heaven's Frozen Judgement!"

After a cluster of energy had been summoned, Cirno punched the frigid air around them and generated a curled fist that was comprised of dense ice. However -- it was massive. It expanded to roughly a city block by itself and came crushing down at Sagumi at a fast rate. Four of these would be made so that he was opposed from his top, bottom and sides. This tactic was done to otherwise make it extremely difficult for him to maneuver such vast objects and increase the odds of her making a hit.

With that said, should these make contact, each of these colossal pillars of ice and winter could serve to crush Sagumi under their devastating force. They also acted as an additional agent to bolster and enhance the effects of the cold aura around him and increase the odds of him succumbing to extreme-cold related injuries. And, lastly, their physical strength alone was enough to otherwise level everything within three hundred meters. So it is suffice to say he'd need to have something quite dangerous up his sleeve to otherwise counter their raw power.

Having played her card for now, she'd observe what he could do and remain in place as she hovered in the air and kept high-track of her surroundings. On guard and ready for anything, it didn't matter if he began attack or not when she said these final words to him:

"Alive, but in a deep coma. That is the state of that girl...."

Making sure these words were otherwise echoed throughout the field, Cirno projected her voice via her energy and hoped that he would somehow manage to hear her through all the destruction.

So -- the only thing to do now -- was to wait and see.
