The American Fairy, Grand Duchess Of Second Circle, The Liberating Demon, The Manic Patriot, The American Loving Asthavon, The Jester Of America, The Ambassador Of America, The Entertainer» Age:
Liberty is currently two years old [as of 2415]. She was created by Mana as one of her familiars and was forged July 4th, 2413. » Gender:
As of now, she is considered to be the Grand Duchess of the second circle of Shadow Fall. Along with that, she seems to play a role as an ambassador of sorts for America. In both of these roles is her purpose to otherwise entertain allies, members of Shadow Fall, family folk of the Asthavon and even amuse her enemies in some cases. This is because she is a jester of sorts and is meant to keep an image of play, fun and happiness in the events she hosts. While she does hold some power of influence and authority, she doesn't seem to use it much as she is far more interested in making sure the world is happy and filled with jokes. »Frequent Locations:
More often than not, you'll find Miss Liberty touring some place across America. It doesn't matter if it is the sunny beaches of California, or the hick hills of the Tennessee mountains; Miss Liberty can appear at almost any place in America~! Outside of that, though, she may also appear in wherever place Shadow Fall decides to hold diplomatic meetings or host events. This is because she is a hostess and it is apart of her job to make sure events are fun!» Appearance:
Miss Liberty Bell stands at an even five foot height. With a petite frame and modest bosom, the body of The American Demon seems rather humble given how much she boast about the vastness and hugeness of America. You'd expect her to have guns on par with Texas, but apparently not. Digressing, she does have the blonde part down when it comes to her hair. And, as far her eyes go? Well, that's a shifting subject. For no reason other than amusement does she change the hue of her eyes. One day they can be red, another day purple and the next blue and white to represent the colors of her America. She likes to mix things up to her whim.
Moving past that, the attire of Miss Liberty also seems to be rather -- static. No matter what she wears, there will always be an article of clothing that otherwise indicates she is and otherwise represents all that America has to offer! Stars, stripes and all the other red, white and blue colors associated with America are often embedded into whatever she wears. Granted, her most often seen outfit is a pair of leggings and a t-shirt with the patterns similar to the American flag. Due to the fact that she resembles a jester, Miss Liberty appears to have a frilled collar and a purple, polka-dotted jester's hat.
And, along with this jokester appearances, there appears to be a bit of mysticism to it in the form of her wings. Liberty seems to have a pair of fairy wings on her back that seem almost transparent, but give off a white or purple glow depending on the situation. Along with that, she often carries a torch that is called "The Fairy's Liberator" and is her most cherished possession. Personality » Patriotism:
Liberty has a strong love for her country -- if you couldn't guess that by way her attire is. This is because during her creation Mana had designed her mind to otherwise have an intense sense of loyalism to her country. There are many years worth of American history, politics, pop culture and other tid-bits about the greatest nation on Earth's background instilled within her mind. Therefore, from all this wondrous knowledge birthed a demon who will go absolutely balls to the wall for her country and people. She loves every single thing about America from its people, government, buildings, air -- EVERYTHING. There is nothing about America that ISN'T great and you CANNOT tell this demon otherwise. » Jester:
Now, moving off the subject of America, Liberty is a person that is a jokester. She likes to play jokes on people, crack lame puns, perform harmless pranks and all sorts of other wacky antics. This is because life is just a big ol' joke to Liberty and why not poke at it? She is a believer in Khalaism and it would only make sense to otherwise have this life view according to Liberty. All that awaits after death is another life and an eternity of happiness, so why not bring some of that happiness to the present and spread it with others? That's her screw-tastic logic, anyway~! Even if she pulls a prank on the wrong person, death is nothing to fear and she thus has little terror in her heart to have for the world! »Fast Food Lover:
Cheeseburgers, milkshakes, french fries, chicken tenders, burritos, tacos; if it's fast and taste good, it's more than alright by Miss Liberty Bell. She loves devouring anything sweet and tasty, or fried and buttered. It's perhaps one of her weaknesses as she almost can't resist herself when around these foods. They are simply some of the most tastiest things in the universe. So if one knows how to cook these items, perhaps they'll find their way into her heart as she eats more than grown men half the time. And whenever one cooks for this clown, she simply adores them to bits! » Boom, Boom, Boom:
This is more of a chaotic trait that she picked up from her mother. Miss Liberty Bell really enjoys to see things explode and destroy everything for miles on end! Fireworks, volcanoes, nuclear bombs, energy blast or whatever makes an erupting blast are all fun things to watch! Therefore, in her spare time, she likes to randomly demolish buildings, forests, criminals, hollows and other things that can be disintegrated with her power or other weapons. It simply feels her heart with child-like joy; such as if an arsonist set a good fire and got to see it burn everything! » Independent Thought & Alignment Stance:
Now, while she may have been created by Mana, this doesn't mean this is a drone by any standard. Due to the fact that Mana sees each of her creations like her own children, Liberty was given the capacity to think for herself and make her own opinions, thoughts and decisions that are and wholly her own. There may have been aspects of her personality that were induced and influence by The Demon Queen, but at the end of the day it is up to Liberty to otherwise decide where she goes with them.
And, what she has decided for herself is that she would forever follow whoever is in charge of America. It doesn't matter if her enemy runs America, Mana runs America, some god runs America or whatever scenario that occurs where the powers that be in America changes; she will forever and always serve this country to the best of her ability because America is the greatest thing ever! Thus, one can consider her aligned with America and only concerned with the actual land itself as opposed to the people ruling it. » To Make America The Greatest:
Above all else, one of the primary goals in Miss Liberty Bell's life is that she wants to make America one of the greatest nations to ever exist -- in all of time! Therefore, she'll throw her entire life at the cause in order to make it come true. She wants to see their economy, defenses, military, culture, history and everything become as enriched as she possibly can make them! Hence, she attempts to give moral support to the troops, persuade her family to fund their military, provide high value entertainment to boost money for the country and do as much as she can to educate the public overseas and beyond about how awesome and great America truly is! »Love n' Empathy N' Stuff:
Moving on, there is an overflowing love and play in her heart. Liberty seems to possess a high amount of energy to give in all aspects of her life! Rarely does this woman tire as she is always bouncing off the walls and moving from topic to topic. If she doesn't get a control on herself, she can often times talk so fast your head might spin from all of the enthusiasm this demonic lass has. One could almost call it a sense of endless mania in the fact that she never sleeps, constantly shifts between different projects, has little to no concept of danger and otherwise is always happy-go-lucky.
Granted, this doesn't mean Liberty doesn't have a grasp on the people and settings around her. For example, if she were called into a presidential meeting of some sort, she'd still keep her cherry demeanor, but would actually start to produce content related to the conversation in a playful manner. As, more than anything, she does take her role somewhat seriously and aims to give America a good name through play, laughter and fun. So, one could almost even call her an ambassador and entertainer as she tend to give a good show wherever she happens to appear.
In her mind, there quite enough people in the world who are serious enough to make a nuclear summit seem like a frolic on the beach. So, she aims to be the person who distills the tension in the air and makes everything all relaxed n' what not. After all, she does have a fair amount of empathy, despite her apparent jovial and foolish nature. So, this tends to lead her to otherwise tell when a person is feeling sad and she feels compelled to brighten their day through any means necessary! For a life without a laugh is a life full of pain and sadness -- and that's just no good! » Love Of Clowns & Soft Spirit:
If you haven't already guessed it, Miss Liberty Bell has a deep fondness of clowns. She has many sorts of clown plushies, toys, dolls, make-up, outfits and other things pertaining to these entertainers. So one can also infer that she enjoys her circus acts just as much. The smell of cotton candy, the hilarious acts, the amazing animals and wonderful atmosphere these festive places are simply too much for Miss Liberty to pass up. They are places of relaxation for her and a good place to go if she wants to de-compress and de-stress because of their lighthearted settings.
The primary reason why she appears to like clowns so much stems more so from her development. There are still influences from the high volume of souls that her mother, Mana Asthavon, had reaped. So, subconsciously, more of the kinder spirits that she consumed otherwise altered her mind and caused her to turn out to be such a joyous demon as opposed to some bloodthristy machine. However, even knowing this, Miss Liberty Bell still wouldn't bother to change that because she loves just who she is. Nothing can change the clown!
» Brief History: CREATION AND PURPOSE
THE ORIGINS OF LIBERTY
The story of Liberty Bell begins on the most American of holidays: The Fourth of July. On this grand day of independence, the liberation from the darkness of non-existence began and this patriotic demon was birthed from the extract of The Demon Queen -- and 150th President of The United States. Within the murky depths of The White House, this creature was infused with the utmost of American ideals, history, pop culture, facts and became its embodiment. Thus, through this simplistic method, did this Danava come into existence.
Granted, following the creation of her body, Mana infused an adequate amount of cognitive awareness and intelligence into her so she wouldn't be a blithering imbecile. Since, after she was cast out from the bare bosom of The Demon Queen, did Liberty otherwise have no greater intellect than that of a new born. Thus, The Grand Ol' President saw fit to infuse her with different sets of memories through a strong helping of demonic magic injected into her brain. It had worked on one of her other daughters on a much grand scale, so scaling it back to something less intricate took no time for The Demoness.
But, one might question: just why in the hell would she bother to create such an abominable mess? One could call it an urge of sorts for The Demon Queen. Much like children have the urge to build sand castles at the beach, as to did Mana have the desire to bring some of the values she cherished from America to life. After all, she spent a fair amount of previous life in it, why not create something of an embodiment of it? Furthermore, with the instability of Mana's own body constantly afoot, The Demonic Empress often needed to expend energy and exhaust it in different means and forms before it otherwise caused extensive damage to her own being.
Thus, the initial reason of The Jester's existence could be easily deduced as perhaps a whim of fancy from The Demon Queen, but it was determined from the second that Liberty had awareness that she had bigger plans for herself. That's when the clothes of jester formed around her body and the sense of duty to her country overflowed across every fiber of her being. However, unlike most in her family, she wanted to serve by entertainment and laughter. Hence, the first words out of her mouth were this:
"Mama, I wanna be a clown and make people laugh and be entertained~!"
Quite a mouthful there, eh? But, The Demon Queen didn't seem to protest it much. After all, demons were quite fond of their creations and the eternal bond forged between them was absolutely compelling. Ergo, for this reason is why The Demonic Mother allowed her child to pursue this path. As, more than anything else, Mana loved the chaotic disorder that clowns brought to whatever scene they emerged on. A few juggles, pies and gags and the atmosphere was easily dispelled into a turbulent sense of laughter and the scene plunged into hecktive humor. Although, on the other hand, this could just be more of a complex way of stating: "Hey, The Demon Queen thinks clowns are sinister beings~!"
Whatever the case may be, it was clear the pathway to pranksterhood was forged from that first thought. She was given the freedom to explore as her mind wished and Mama Mana was honestly quite interested to see where it would all lead. After all, some of her previous creations seemed more sent in somber ways. Neoveta desired to be a messiah, Liu Asthavon yearned for an escape from it all and Nanaya seemed to only want to be a Pampered Princess. So to have an Americanized Clown in their midst was quite the turn of events to say the least. RISE TO POWERPRESENT DAY ARC
