Agent of Chaos and Family Empty Agent of Chaos and Family

The time of festivities was almost upon them and Karakura City was alight with festive decorations as its inhabitants waited out the last few days until the celebration of Christmas. The sun was slowly setting in the sky as people began to travel from their work to their homes, families anxious for the festive day to be upon them. In middle of all these people, within sight of the towering walls surrounding the Yayjuu base, a high pitch screeching echoed outwards throughout the town. Slowly the very space in the middle of the street leading up to the Yayjuu base began ripping itself open, a black opening expanding between the area. Twice had something like this happened within Karakura, twice had this individual stepped within the city limits. Stepping forth from the void beyond the opening, the raven haired female looked around her before turning to look up at the towering walls that surrounded the Yayjuu base. Her blue eyes blinked once as she snapped her fingers, the opening collapsing in on itself as the person walked forward. Unlike the last two times she had visited this realm, Videl was not wearing the tattered remains of an old garment. Instead her clothing looked fairly new, maybe a few months old. A plain purple blouse lay beneath the black cardigan she wore, paired with a black knee length skirt. Her simple black shoes made soft noises as they hit the pavement while she walked towards her destination.

Approaching the Yayjuu base, Videl’s eyes were hard and cold, her short, spiky hair moving with an unnatural wind. Unlike her previous foray in to Karakura, this time she was not attempting to hide her presence at all, wind surging around her in chaotic movements simply due to her presence. It would be fairly easy for anyone within the city to find her, but Videl was not one to hide normally, so it fit her perfectly. Arriving at the gate to her destination, she looked at the guards with disdain, clearly deeming them unworthy of any further attention in her eyes. Turning back towards the gate, her hand came upwards as a smirk crossed her face. With a sudden motion she pushed her hand outwards, and with this motion the air responded to her. With surging power, a pressure wave was formed by the air mere centimeters from the gate before slamming in to the structure. Not bothering to lower the effective sound wave in to infrasound territory, A huge booming sound would echo through the city as a thousand decibel sound wave slammed in to the gate, most likely blasting in open, possibly even breaking it apart.

Growling softly, Videl stepped forward as her hard eyes fell on to one of the guards nearby. Her voice was rough and filled with anger as she spoke a command to the guard.

“Shadin Yuudeshi, here, now.”

[PLAY POSTING MUSIC BY THE LOVE OF GOD FOR THIS POST]

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Ketsu - Word Count: 1050
There was a disturbance in the air as the usual casual and laid-back atmosphere of The Yayjuu had became tainted with a sinister power. However, for The Leader of this organzation, he understood this power all too well. After all, a Beast should know when their own kin is knocked at their door. So, when The Yuudeshi Network had detected these unstable energies approaching the compound of The Yayjuu, they were more than ready to put in the defensive protocols needed in order to help endure this chaotic encounter with Videl Yuudeshi. Since they already had a sufficient amount of data on the persona and abilities of lunatic Yuudeshi, it wasn't that far a stretch for them to produce a dense barrier meant to shield themselves from her assaults. If Karakura Central's primary dome was powerful enough to withstand assaults from multiple organizations, then a miniature sized version of it should prove to more than stand up against the harsh assaults that Videl could summon up for a few rounds or so. Especially when being powered by both The Yuudeshi Network and Shadin Yuudeshi himself.

This would then allow time for The Beast of Karakura to then make himself decent. As, before this explosive knock on his front door, he was half-asleep and preparing for a nap. So, with a snap of his fingers, he utilized his spiritual energy in order to freshen up his appearance. His face lost the blackened rings behind his eyes, the smell of filth was vaporized from his body and his attire was materialized around him in mere milliseconds. In an eruption of white light did a pair of ashen jeans emerge with a pair of blackened boots. Following that, another wave of light formed his usual plaster white and stone hued vertical striped shirt. After that, his crimson eyes would then focus on the scene unfolding outside his doorstep and sigh with a bit of disappoint in how his daughter was reacting.

Why couldn't any of his children just have a normal get together with his family instead of trying to cause havoc and destruction to the city? Whatever. They had Yuudeshi Blood in them so it was almost to be expected that this is what would happen with her Yuudeshi Drive. As, despite his irritation, The Beast of Karakura could hardly blame her as he himself underwent similar traits when he let his mind be controlled by the aggression associated with The Yuudeshi Project. So, it would be up to him to try and see if he can pass on his wisdom to his unstable daughter and get to see the error of her ways.

Therefore, Shadin would ask for all of his men to stand down from this battle and leave everything in his hands. Thus, not wanting to anger or get in the way of their leader, many of The Yayjuu's operatives were then seen taking cover and moving away from the area. It was almost like a ghost town by the time that Videl had arrived and that was just the way The Beast of Karakura wanted it. Like it or not, this was going to be quality father and daughter son time for his chaotic offspring.

Ergo, as he walked outside of the compound, he was then met with an explosive bang that could be heard for many miles on end. Sure, the display of power was impressive, but that barrier wasn't moving just yet. It would absorb the impact and prevent its destructive grip from terrorizing the city. Furthermore, The Yuudeshi Network would then correct the natural values of the space around Videl's energy signature. With this knowledge, it would attempt to otherwise revert the alterations made by her power and bring the weather around this portion of the city back to a normal, calm, sunny day. In this way, Shadin would prove that it was pointless for her to go around wasting energy like that when she could just bring the issue directly to him without the need for dramatics.

Hence, he'd greet her with a gruff sigh as he walked pass the gates and stared her down with a questionable gaze. Really, what kind of child did he raise? Ugh, all he wanted was for her to act right, understand that she was loved and not act so -- unstable. But, maybe this is what he deserves for being unable to rescue her from that realm of chaos incarnate. Thus, he would shake his head and clear his mind of doubt as he proceeded to confront his daughter about whatever it was that was storming her mind.

"So, I can assume you aren't here to give your old man a hug, right?"

Right off the bat, there was a pitch of sarcasm intermixed in his words as he let off a slight chuckle. Maybe she could see the humor in it, but probably not. This girl was often on a warpath of destruction and didn't have time to check out the finer things in life -- like having a good laugh. So, he'd carry on with the more serious portion of his dialogue after that point:

"Tell me, Videl, why are you here? Why do you feel the need to come guns a blazing to my home when you can simply just knock at the door like a normal person? We may be super powered beings, but that doesn't mean you have to act like a deranged lunatic hellbent on destroying everything every time you pop up somewhere."

With that lecture out of the way, he would then give a light tap to the head of Videl and go in to try and hug her. After all, he had given her enough venom and now was the part where he got to sharing his affection for his daughter.

"Now, please, tell your father what is wrong so I can try and help ease the situation, kid."

And with that, he'd then let go and observe the reactions in which Videl Would go on to take after that moment. Hopefully, if there was a god, she would at least see that he was trying to help and not start a fight.

Agent of Chaos and Family Empty Re: Agent of Chaos and Family

Tue Jun 30, 2015 11:04 am
It was definitely surprising to the female the power that this city held. As a barrier sprung up around this place, protecting it from her assault, she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in surprise. Remembering her last meeting with the old geezer who ran this place though, it was quite obvious that she could not overcome his tremendous capabilities. To have power over the very forces of creation? She had thought it impossible, a mere trick, something other then what it was. The scars on her arms though, those told the truth. Running across her body where those damned chains had touched her, even the power of the void had been unable to heal them. To be unable to heal her wounds with the power of the void, it could only mean that the wound had been made by the voids opposite, the very energies of creation and existence. For this man to have that sort of power behind him, it scared Videl to the bone, despite this very man being the one who helped bring her in to this world, a person who had raised her for the first eight years of her life.

So, with this new realization, it was with wary eyes that Videl Yuudeshi watched her father approaching her from beyond the gates. While one portion of her screamed at her to attack, to destroy the one who had harmed her, another one reeled her in. Her survival instincts screamed at her to be careful, that this man could kill her, and would given what he had done last time they had met. Her arms were at her side as he approached, fingers half curled in to fists while her knees and elbows were bent slightly. She was ready to move the second he showed any aggression to her, ready to defend herself and escape back to the void if necessary.

However, it was as he spoke his first words to her that she started to relax, her finger relaxing slightly as her face became slightly less wary, the sarcasm mixed with his words giving her a sense of safety for now. After a few seconds she responded with her own voice, sounding bored as she replied.

"No."

It was a simple, blunt reply, but that was simply how Videl spoke. She didn't feel the need for pleasantries or softening her words. No, she told it how it was, being straight out and giving those she spoke to the raw truth with her words. Sure, sometimes she liked playing around and messing with people's heads, but even then she wouldn't butter her words to protect the feelings of others. No, she said what she wanted and didn't care how it affected others.

When Shadin began to lecture her on her actions, telling her to be normal, Videl couldn't help the snort that left her being . Here he was, thinking that he understood her to the point where he could judge her actions. No, this man knew nothing about her, and she was going to give him a piece of her mind, remind him of just how little a role he played in raising her. However, just as she opened her mouth to speak, he tapped her lightly on the forehead. With this simple action, her body suddenly tensed, eyes once more wary, her whole being on edge. As he came towards her to hug her, a sudden blast of wind would attempt to push him away from her, keep him from her being. It was a blunt force, not intended to cause harm, simply stop him from being near enough to her. Her face was slightly tinged with fear and worry, her hands wrapped around her stomach as if trying to give her comfort. Her movement to this position caused her sleeves to be pulled back, and it was then that the scars upon her being became obvious.

Running along the outside of her arms, bright red imprints of chains wrapped around her arms, the skin that had been boiled away by the energy of creation in their last battle had not healed even slightly, these couldn't even truly be called scars. No, scars were wounds that had healed and left behind a visible way to detect where they had been injured. These were still open wounds, wounds that had yet to heal even a tiny bit. It was lucky for her that the damage had only penetrated the outer layer of her skin, and so she could live despite the wounds that covered her arms.

"Please... don't touch me..."

Her words were soft, almost a plea as she looked downward. No, she could not let him touch her right now, she just couldn't. She would need to talk though, need to see if what she had been told about Shadin was right. She needed to know whether he truly wished to kill her, or his use of the energies of creation last time was only because he did not know how her body had changed. Taking a couple deep breaths, she reined in her fear, pulling herself in to the only semblance of control she could gain before looking up at him. Tilting her head to the side, she appeared to think for a bit before she began to speake, her voice now a bored tone.

"Why am I here? Cause I wanted answers old man. Well, mostly because a certain son of yours convinced me that I was best off seeking answers rather then making assumptions. As for why I didn't simply knock? Would you simply walk in to K-world or Demon world and knock on the doors of their leaders? Unless you're a suicidal maniac, which you just might be, that would be the most foolish thing you could do. And please, stop trying to lecture me about being normal. After all, what kind of normal man attempts to kill their daughter?"

Her voice then changed, suddenly gaining a sarcastic tone to it.

"I get it, I didn't tell you where I was going and disappeared, but that's one hell of a punishment, well beyond the realm of normal parenting."

Sighing, she turned around, facing away from Shadin as she stare up in to the sky. The blue skies... the sun on her... the wind flowing around her body, a small smile appeared on her face, a soft whisper carrying along the wind as she stretched her arms above her.

"It's been so long... How I've missed it..."

Well, there was certainly a lot of damage to repair between the two of them. And the first step to cleansing that mistrust and hurt is mending the scars which lay upon Videl's arms. What, did she not expect him to notice such a thing? It ached his hurt to see such an ugly thing on his daughters body because these scars were made the power he devised to protect those her cherished, loved and wished to defend. Henceforth, for that reason alone, he needed to tend to those injuries and make amends.

For this reason is why the trace amount of particles still tethered to Shadin through his energy started to react upon Videl's arm. Since those marks were imprinted by Imaginary Computation, those same atoms would awaken and become enslaved by the command of their master. To this end is why those markings across The Void Yuudeshi's limbs would soon fade away and dissipate in a stream of ocean blue and plaster white light. They'd then retract and swirl around her father before inevitably being absorbed. It is through this method that she would otherwise be freed from the bonds of anguish that once crippled the young girl.

After that moment, The Beast of Karakura let out a soft sigh and put his keen observation skills to further use. As, while he gazed at the sight of his daughter, he could very well tell that there was fear behind her eyes. Fear for the type of power he wielded and how he so haphazardly used it. A fact that made him flashback to other incidents of aggression, homicidal rage and pure insanity that comes with the gift and curse of The Yuudeshi Drive. While it grants them power, it degrade and further loosen the strings of sanity upon the Yuudeshi it awakens in. Along this line of thought is why then wondered if that very phenomena was occurring with his own daughter. Since, as the saying goes: "The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree."

Digressing, there was a natural and maternal desire to want to soothe the fears of his child. Therefore, Shadin soon started mulling over information, analysis and conversion based methods within that ever-fast-paced moving mind of his. Eventually, an aura of white light shimmered around his body and following that came a miasma that spread around them. Essentially, if Videl were to inhale this, her brain would soon begin to ease the fears of her father for this moment. Why? Through Imaginary Computation, The Beast of Karakura produced a metaphysical drug meant to interact with the amygdala and lessen the response of fear swelling from that portion of her mind.

So, with mental injuries tended to, all that was required was the physical touch, no? No. Well, that is to say, his daughter was outright refusing to be hugged. Upon getting that reaction, an odd chuckle came out of Shadin. It was a mixture of amusement and sadness for the kind of hurt he induced in his child, but a source of amusement as he could never find himself to harm his children. Maybe it was a bit of tormented humor, but it was curious to see play out.

Nevertheless, as winds of power started to radiate and pour from Videl's body, The Beast's own abilities reacted and rightly reflected them away. To null wind, all one had to do was redirect the direction of the momentum these currents of air traveled on, correct? Well, with a few calculations and processes, those gusts were redirected and became nothing more than energies gone in the wind.

Instead, Shadin aimed to embrace his daughter in a long hug once he broken past those barriers. There was a sense of restraint and apprehension from himself; as he wasn't exactly the most intimate or personal person he used to be. Yet, despite those thoughts of doubt creeping into his mind, his paternal instincts pushed pass them and reached out to his kin none the less. Just like the during the conflict of Australia when he embraced Kaito Yuudeshi in the coldness of space; he intended to help break the seeds of despair within herself and plant a new seed of hope to mend the damage of the old so that the light of the new could begin within herself.

"Aye...I'm sorry....but I can't acknowledge that request. You are my flesh and blood...and I cannot stand to see my children in pain. I may not be the greatest father in the world, far from it perhaps, but I still have a desire to care and nurture my family...."

Almost choking on his words, The Mighty Beast seemed to have a sense of heartache and regret behind them. Regret for how he abandoned everything else in pursuit of The Yuudeshi Project. Neglecting centuries worth of family in the hopes of avenging Midori's death or finding some trace or hope with a miracle from his fabled "Mind of God". Yet, as he stood here on the verge of tears, it seemed none of that mattered to him as there was no bringing that which was already gone and dead. So, he had to cling to what he still had and he gripped Videl hard as memories of Midori started pouring out.

He -- couldn't do this alone. That was the first thought that came to mind as he held his kin in his bare hands. While he was strong, he needed the tender love of this child's mother to better help to raise and guide her down the proper path in life. It is in that moment that he nearly muttered out to Midori to help him with their daughter. For, as a solo-parent, it was hard raising their remaining clan without the nurturing of their mother. And, in some ways, he felt he had to play the role of both before he finally succumbed to his own madness and abandoned both parts altogether.

Which is why, as he grasped Videl in his arms, he would then hold her face to his chest and simply pat her head as she started speaking of the reasons why she was her. All the while, vaporizing any shred of tear through the prowess of Imaginary Computation evaporating these streams of sadness away from his face so that his child may not see him cry. For, above all else, a child, no matter how old or young, should ever have to see their parent cry. It leaves an impression on the psyche and he did not want for his daughter. Not all.

Ergo, once his grief had passed, The Yuudeshi let out a hard sigh, freed his daughter from his grasp and gazed back into her eyes.

"If Touma brought you here, then I am all ears. If you have a question, I will answer it."

Voice steady and eased, he wouldn't bother wasting time responding to her over-the-top antics about knocking on doors. It was absurd to him to begin because he wasn't the enemy. All she needed to do was call and he would be there. But, alas, he wouldn't waste effort trying to argue that. Instead, he felt a pang of hurt stab into his chest when she once again brought up the abuse he did indeed inflict on her. And, in that moment, he simply looked away and muttered

"I'm sorry...."

And after that, he'd let out another sigh and compose himself once more.

"...I will do all that is within my power to help you, Videl. You know that....just name it and I will do my best to achieve it..."

In those somber words, he'd then walk up next to Videl and place his right hand on her shoulder as he stared upwards into the pristine blue skies above them.

"...so, what is it that you want or need from me, my daughter?"

"Did you know?"

Her words were soft, barely more than a whisper as she tried to keep her worry from her face.

"Did you know how I had been changed, how that energy would affect me?"

Her fists clenched tightly at her side as her memories of that day rushed through her mind, the feeling of her very existence being burned away by the bindings causing a shiver to run through her body before she spoke again.

"If I hadn't had that little trick up my sleeve I would have been erased from existence by your energy, what on earth caused you to think that it was a good idea to bind someone like me with those energies? I'm one with the void, more attached to it then this realm now, what could possibly make you think that that was going to go well?!?!"

Black mist seeped forth from her body as her temper pushed forth, her pain at his actions being released all at one. The energy of the void swirled around her as she glared for him, but instead of surging outward towards the target of her emotions she just continued to berate him.

"That was the welcome home I get from you, you trying to obliterate my existence? Do you have any idea what it is like to live in the void, unable to go anywhere, unable to return? To want to return but have no god damned way to do so? Do you?!?!"

Slowly the energy began to seep back in to her body as she collapsed to the ground, choking back sobs as the drugs her had used on her no longer worked. Why? Well, her nature as the agent of chaos of course, something forcing her to act against her desires, to affect her and change what she wanted, it would find itself soon negated by the energies of chaos flowing through Videl, those same energies that had originated in the being that resided within her.

"I... one day I'm here and hurt after fighting some punks, and the next thing I know I'm in an endless blackness with a voice in my head. All alone out there, all alone for so long, with only the though of returning pushing me to train myself and pushing myself for so long in hopes of getting back her. Then when I finally get back, when I finally return, you... you did... it hurt so much..."

Tears roll down her cheeks as she pulls her legs to her chest as she collapsed to the pavement below her.

"And now... I've changed so much, I'm so different from when I left, but I just, I just don't know anymore whether I can really be part of a family. Hell, I don't even know if I belong in this realm anymore, given my ties with chaos and the void. I just don't know anymore, I don't know..."

Her voice trailed off as she stared at the pavement beneath her, trying not to think of the man behind her, the one who was the source of most of her insecurities. She only hoped things would go better then last time.

[PLAY POSTING MUSIC BY THE LOVE OF GOD FOR THIS POST]

Artist: Black Moth Super Rainbow - Song: Fields Are Breathing - Word Count: 1068

Did he -- know? The first question that Videl asked was one that Shadin honestly did not have an answer to. If he had the estimates that he possessed now, there was no way that he would have ever put her under that type of danger and stress. But, alas, the decision had been made and there was no going back from it. The only thing he assumed he could do was to make the mistakes of the past mended and to try and move forward from them.

"I was unaware of the alterations that your body had gone through at that time. Do you honestly think I would kill my own flesh and blood because of an incident like that? I may possess some of the greatest resources on the planet, but I do not have omniscience, Videl."

Those words came off as pained and gruff because it was an honest error on his end of things. Why on earth would a father want to see one of their own butchered by his hands? If this Yuudeshi wanted someone dead, more often than not, they'd be dead in his point of view. So how could his own daughter believe such a horrible conclusion? If he wanted her dead and gone, she simply would not be standing here and that's all there is to it.

"Our family has a curse for our talents, skills, abilities and powers consuming us whole. Not only that, but most youth I help with in The Yayjuu are often broken from the instability their powers caused. To prevent something awful from happening to any innocent person who had nothing to do with it, I attempted to restrict you because I didn't want to hurt you or anyone else."

In that moment, The Beast then stared down his own kin with the utmost of intention as his crimson eyes stared down her dull, black gaze. The words were firm, calm and to the point as he tried to explain the circumstance as best and simply as he could. But, in his gut, there was a horrid feeling that it simply would not reach her. And to him, that feeling simply felt -- awful.

"And while the pathway to hell may be filled with good intentions, all I wanted as a father was to make sure my daughter was under control so I could try and help you. That's all I ever wanted."

While uttering that out, he'd keep his sights set on Videl as she collapsed to the floor sobering her eyes out. While it was a painful sigh to see, it was not one that he would avert his eyes from this time. Instead, Shadin would go on to focus on the chaotic energies within his daughter. In this way, the drug would begin to alter and change to evolve and adapt to the influences her body was placing on it. Much like bacteria adapts to vaccines, as to did this medicine alter its values in order to constantly swift and change. As soon as one energy was negated, a new energy would take it's place that was entirely different in order to maintain the stability of Videl's psyche. There was no way that The Beast of Karakura was giving up the battle for his daughter's health that easily.

So, after having dealt with that manner, Shadin decided to address some of the concerns she had and nodded at simply not understanding what it was like in the void.

"I can't say I've ever been in that position, Videl. However, I do have enough empathy to put myself in your shoes and understand what it could have been like. It must have been hell being unable to bridge the gap between oblivion and existence. And, as...a father, it pains me that I was not able to provide for my child."

There was a look of remorse in his eyes, but he'd push pass that in order to speak to his daughter face to face. Thus, Shadin got on one knee and crouched down in order to view his child more directly. Then, after hearing more of her hardships, he simply embraced her in a hug and stated these words to Videl:

"We may not know a lot of things in this vast and insane universe of ours. But if there is one thing I can hold to stay absolute, it's the fact you will always have a home and a place to call family with me. I do not care if our bastard of a god deems you the spawn of all things incarnate, I will NEVER give up on my children. Do you hear me, VIdel? You have a father that loves you and you should never forget that for as long as you live on this green earth."

Those words were the honest to god truth that The Beast of Karakura uttered out. It was within a fathers natural instinct to want to provide, protect and ensure the stability of the future was guarded for their child. And this was the case that was being made as the Shadin held back his own primal emotions for the sake of his kin. While The Yuudeshi may of had many alterations done to his body and mind, this instinctive feeling was one that had not left him. It is the prime reason why he held her firmly in his hands as he wanted his daughter to know that there was someone in this cold world that loved her.

"So as I've stated before, if there is anything you need, please....let me know...."

From these rich emotions is why he himself started slightly crying, but due to the position of the hug, it was done in a way where his child would not see such a pitiful sight. Instead, he would pat her back and begin to try and soothe and console her. With strokes down her raven hair, he'd feel the weight of his child burden and he wished to do what he could, with all his power, to take that strain away from her.
