The time is currently 4:30 PM in the Southern Peninsula of Iceland. The temperature is currently fifty degrees, it is beginning to rain and a crimson dome is covering the city of Reykjanesbær itself to prevent Vanguard operatives from breaking in. Their objective is to get pass the line of tens of thousands of Shadow Fall Troops that are now guarding the borders starting through the coast. And, for antags, their goal is to otherwise prevent them from breaking through this line.

"I've been gone for 2 years, training relentlessly, and the first time I decide to show up again it's in this shitty country.....what is my problem..."

The rain was just beginning to drizzle down to the cold earth below in the Southern Peninsula of a country currently being torn apart by war and conflict, though of a grander scale than it had ever experienced before. This particular section of the island nation was cold, bleak, and still relatively quiet. Apparently, despite being on the outer edge of the country, the city of Reykjanesbær had still yet to see any major combat yet due to larger cities nearby, such as Iceland's capital Reykjavík, being more important strongholds to hold and siege. However, this city was still extremely well guarded by literally thousands of Shadowfall soldiers, weaponry, and monstrous guards. Despite these lines of defense, the greatest protection the city had was a massive crimson red barrier that formed a dome-like shield around it's entirety. Inside the city there were even more Shadowfall forces, acting as a last line of defense in case the barrier and the outside troops were somehow eliminated. However, they weren't the only forces involved....

A little ways away, forces from the Vanguard organization were also gathering, preparing to siege this Shadowfall-held city in order to liberate it from it's sinister captors. They also numbered in the thousands, and were prepared to fight to the death to take control of this cold, coastline port city. However, despite their goals being arguably admirable and good in nature, there was one person who wanted to see them fail horribly...but this individual wasn't aligned with the defending Shadowfall forces either. He also sought to ruin their day, as well. This man was the one talking to himself in the middle of the grasslands about to become a massive battlefield between the two massive, powerful forces seeking to destroy each other no matter what. Clad in a purple and and blue outfit, this man with bright seaweed-green hair and a sword strapped to his waist, was currently sitting cross legged on a rather large boulder. Apparently he had already been there for a while, as he had been able to witness the arrival of the Vanguard troops nearby. Other than mumbling to himself, he wasn't making many movements and appeared to just be waiting for something.

Suddenly the mysterious man began to stir, standing up from his sitting position. "Ugh, fuck this rain. I miss Australia..." As he spoke these words aloud, the rain appeared to stop dripping onto him....however, from an outside perspective it seemed more like the rain was being pushed away from him a spherical form, unable to tough him. At first this seemed relatively innocuous, but in a massive burst this sphere of pressure, known to spiritual beings as Reitsu, grew outwards massively. Rocks began to crumble, unable to handle the pressure pushing out from this man, and the rain was being pushed further and further from him until he stood alone, still on the boulder he had apparently deemed his pedestal, in a dry area as even the water droplets on the ground and plants had been pushed away. He started speaking again, except this time his voice was amplified to the point of both forces being able to hear him from even hundreds of yards away.

"Ah, much better. How're you all doin? Well? Fuck it, never been good at small talk. My name is Stefan Soan, and I'm here to murder and pillage! Like a Viking, except not the shit football team. Basically, I'm gonna kill all of you for funzies cause I'm bored and killing you guys will probably draw bigger fish here. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll all have nice funerals. Anyway, I'm tired of talking, so let's get things started."

The strangely dressed man emanating spiritual pressure reached his hand to the sheath hanging at his waist, gripped the handle of the sword within, and drew it out. When he did, the pressure around him noticeably increased to the point where people unprepared would likely be unable to walk, or even breathe without extreme difficulty. Despite being hundreds of yards away from the frontlines of the Shadowfall forces guarding the outskirts of the Icelandic city nearby, he still raised the sword above his head and swung it down, striking air. However, that's not really what happened. What actually occurred was a swing so powerful the air itself was forced to follow it's movement, which resulted in a massive burst of pressure striking straight through the middle of the Shadowfall forces, completely obliterating the soldiers caught in the middle of it while simultaneously sending soldiers on the edges of the strike flying away, landing on their fellow troops. Over a hundred soldiers had been slaughtered in this single, extremely powerful sword strike. Smiling, Stefan turned the edge of the blade he held horizontally, and then spun in place, swinging his sword in a two hundred and seventy degree arc, which resulted in a similar strike as before, this time, slicing straight through the front line of the Vanguard forces hundreds of yards in the opposite direction. Almost the entire first line of soldiers had been eviscerated nearly instantly, while the soldiers behind them were sent tumbling backwards onto each other. In two sword swings, Stefan had already devastated both forces, who were clearly unprepared for this type of combatant. Still smiling, Stefan spoke a single sentence out loud.

"This is either gonna be really boring, or really, really fun."
