Artist: N/A - Song: Protectors of Earth- Word Count: 714

Now this was a strange predicament to be in considering the scope of what Hayden was used to, fight a war was his specialty some could say. He enjoyed feeling the carnage around him at times embracing the darker side of him that would be willing to slay a hundred men to save a thousand in the long run. It was both selfish and selfless in his eyes for his rage is what kept him tethered to this world, but as he was a sworn defender of earth the same could not be said for the sugieran realm a place he had never seen but here he stood ready to go up in arms to defend it. None the less his training partner brought this to his attention and he knew nothing of the defenses or who would stand to defend it… so he offered his help of his own free will separate from his duties of his previous world.

When they entered through the portal Hayden blinked looking around at the fields before him of wheat and other types of vegetables that he held no use for at this moment. It was quite a nice feeling as if he was returning to a simpler time before the bloodshed that he had grown accustomed to; perhaps it was his slayer nature tugging at his emotions due to this is like the very land his bloodline started in. The trees waved their leaves along with little regard for the who or what was here, as if peace was something that was happening all across the land, ignoring the coming war that would descend upon this peaceful place within minutes. This was the hell of war, it could turn the most serene places into that of a place of death and sorrow; today Hayden would not allow this.

As he left his thoughts he looked behind him to see a marvelous wall, that would be good for defense, but beyond it was a city a lively one at that. The setting of said city seemed to be that if medieval origins with towers and gates that connected to the wall. At least it seemed to have some sort of protection from evaders which would prove useful along with the river that seemed to course through in front of the gate. It was a pretty nice set up in the mind of Hayden a military commander, he could easily see the tactical benefit of having such a city and wall to defend. None the less it was time to make sure Hayden was good.

Hayden was wearing his battle attire that consisted of well.. a medieval set of armor which the irony of the situation wasn’t lost to him. The armor he wore held a metallic chest piece that was similar to a vest that covered his front and back that he used straps to keep secured tightly to his body with padded leather interior for his comfort. His shoulders held pauldrons that was separated by three metal pieces each that were all interconnected via one welded piece. His legs seemed to have the same setup on his thigh it seemed; these where more as weights for himself to make sure he didn’t over release too much energy but also to make him seem not as big a threat he was. On his back was his signature Zanpakutō waiting to be released from it’s half-harness/half-energy concealer to begin this battle.

“Kayta; you feel it don’t you? The energy heading our way. I think it’s best you get ready for a battle- I’ve never felt a presence this.. tainted.”

Hayden spoke to her calmly in a strong baritoned voice, the low calculating voice was a good indicator he was planning something which of course was how he was going to fight without releasing too much energy and diverting the enemy away from the city if the fighting had to become prolonged. His hazel eyes scanning the field before releasing a hum before chuckling which was more akin to a low guttural throaty sound.

“We’re gonna have to move them away from the city; when we dealt with this I say we go on a little adventuring to figure out what idiot would want to excite my evening, aye?”

Insanity! This is what the world truly deserves for its title! Yes, this rotten world that does not deserve another chance to be alive again because of its mere stupidity and corruption that they could not simply standby and watch. It is just a tomfoolery to just being the spectator of the rotting world. The entire world, every speck of realm, every single being deserves a better place and life than ever before, free of wars and child's quarrels, free from ever being under control of another person just because of the fact that they are 'stronger' than them. These ideals are stupid from the beginning and it will always be judged as such. Waging the Reformation War was the only option that they will choose to wipe out these cancerous beings that dared to dirty the lands of every realm, controlling and manipulating their people as if they were dolls. People being pretentious 'heroes', and pretentious 'villains' that simply drives the nuts out of his brain without a second thought. Why wage war? SIMPLE! This world has no other options because 'they' knew that they will never be the type to negotiate peace treaties just because they 'think differently'. Simply put, it will end up in a war no matter what way they approach this.. nonsensical world that knows nothing but themselves to stand on top of the throne as if they owned it in the first place. They never tasted true pain, the true nightmare, the true suffering and death that simply, with a snap of a finger, nothingness drives right into your obliterated consciousness and all of that is just gone. The purpose of this war to give the rightful place to everything and everyone, to cleanse and wipe out all of humanity and reform it into something better, the ideal world without anyone to decide the 'top' by judging through power, status or anything else. The idea of this war may sound like nonsense and stupid, but to the host itself, driven by his past desires of wiping all of the causes of his pain in his way, he seeks to clean up the trash from every realm, every world, and every particle that ever exists to corrupt the atmosphere that truly built 'life' on this very land.

Who would that be? The Nightmare, Sou Yuuki. A simple introduction of this monstrous being, what brings such an important person right here? Why the sugiura realm? Why specifically.. this place? In all honesty to put, there is no reason for him to be here in the first place. Bringing himself through the cracks that had formed across the skies of Sugiura Realm, Sou had that ability as the host of this war, the bringer of this idea of 'reforming' the world, travelling through the cracks was a simple ordeal for him. It wasn't his powers or anything, but it was already there when this one hell of a war started by his command, and made use of it for his travelling needs if he felt like it. So, to bring himself here was certainly a privilege on its own to think of, because his reason to come here was certainly none. He was bored waiting for challenges to be thrown at him, for 'heroic' beings to put a stop at his schemes of cleaning the cancer out of this world. So, why not bring himself to them instead? It is a flawless idea at its best, right? Sugiura Realm was one of his choice to make since he had never once went there before, and as a host of this war, he had eyes and ears from the Reformed that rained down on every realm to keep him updated on what is happening on their statuses. This isn't telepathy or some fancy shit, but as beings that he made with cracked energy, they are to give him the required information about it in case some changes in plans were to be made. Simply put, time to take a peek in what is in store for him in this realm that is prepared to go against his ideals of cleaning this cancerous world.

The very moment he entered the Sugiura Realm, he had one of the two important choices to make. Considering that area he planned to land into, the Western Clan's territory, inbetween the Western Clan's city, or the interesting output of energy that is happily presented to them to feast on. If he were to join the assault against their city, he would be able to accelerate the destruction of the very city itself and be done with at this point, however, at the same time, Sou didn't want to care as much about the city since it is the job of the Reformed to do this kind of sweeping, not him. Without much hesitation, his head nodded and eyes lazily shifted towards the other Reformed, within a collective group of Aadi, Pashu and the Netr. If the Dev was here, it would make his job much easier. However, having only one of them specifically for each realm, it is better to save it for the important parts in case, well, if Sou himself, were to die at any given moment as the Dev plays a huge role in leading massive destruction across realms for their monstrosity that he had built them for. Not a word was given, and his intentions was easily grasped by the Reformed to advance towards the city once they have landed against the grounds of the Sugiura Realm, while the Nightmare himself will handle this kind soul that is giving off his position like a little kid who wants to be given a candy during halloween.

Using the vibration from his bare foot, he would appear afloat for a second or two as air particles began to solidify under his foot. Why? Vibrations that created friction under his feet would create an attraction for electron particles of air particles, as well as creating a light compression of wind that would allow him to collect dust particles to further on agitate the frictional force under his feet using the vibrations. By further compressing it by caging the particles via vibrations, it would have created enough pressure to force it to first implode, but explode into a huge burst of energy that fires his body as if it were a human-sized bullet. Targeting himself towards the energy signature given off by this very being, his body would be blasted at insane speeds. Of course, in order to move at speeds even a master in that area to be rather surprised for, with his control over his own strength, he was able to use the collected particles under his feet, and make use of the concept of 'singularity', but 'lightly' using that concept by causing a finite compression under his feet, to a few dots of particles still existing after its state of implosion, and releasing a huge explosion of energy under his feet and together using the strength from his knees to further support the speed at which he is moving under after the explosion of shockwaves under his feet, would allow him to move at speeds that he generally is unable to move 'under his own without relying his strength'. Of course, instead of crashing right into the individual, he zips past him at a blink of an eye and blasted a crater right against the earth beneath the feet which he landed on; a shockwave that stretched miles under the force that he landed together with on his bodily mass.

The gust of wind that created together with an explosive force from the landing cleared the dust without much of a problem, revealing the identity within a matter of seconds prior to his own landing. It was easy to identify who was behind this one insane of a landing; who is the Nightmare himself. Crimson red hair, bloody red eyes and a lean body. Equipped with the new prototype of the Annihilator and the I.E.B.N, the rest of his attire is much self-explanatory by any means necessary considering it has always been the same look for the past few years, before and after the death of the original Nightmare that once held that name high and mighty; and now replaced by his Inverse.

He was different; very different in contrast with the original. At this point of this war, Sou does not intend to hold back. Yes, the consciousness of the original Nightmare still exists within the body of the Inverse and it does suck to now play this idiotic role of a 'villain' for this kind of child's play. He was not going to underestimate neither overestimate the likes of this individual that he was going to engage with, his crimson red eyes stared deep into the young man with his body stood straight and steady without even a gush of fear appearing from any part of his body. It was a very direct body language that the Nightmare is giving off, as it is not 'confidence' that really makes him all that fearless against him as human emotions, despite being an Inverse, still applies to him. However, it was the driving thought of that he will fight regardless of who or what he will encounter. His previous encounters with beings much stronger than the likes of this man that brought the Nightmare to his defeat in a matter of seconds, he took everything as a lesson and embedded it into an experience to anyone that he fights. He will not hold back his punches neither will he overthrow it, because this is the trait that truly brings him that very title of 'The Nightmare'. A powerless human that can only be described as a monster with his bare fists, the strength to break even the laws around him and overpower even the impossible.

His crimson red eyes never broke contact with the individual the second after his landing, the sight of seriousness yet.. a hidden laziness that really put together his rather complicated train of thought. But one thing is for sure; Sou is not an opponent to be trifled with that easily. Sure, he does not even have a tiny bit of spiritual energy that say that he is extremely powerful or anything at all that really gives him to looks of a powerful man. However, his body.. no, his existence alone would be constantly pouring out a natural pressure that mimics to that of a spiritual pressure of a shinigami's, that shows him as far more than just a human, but a monster that even this man has never met before in his life. Demons, Arrancar and other powerful beings would have been the match of this brave soul that he met right here and right now, but surely, a powerless human, a man with no powers at all has a simple mechanic of 'pressure' would be enough to wash off everything he has encountered before, this was simply a sight to behold. This is not cockiness; but a simple fact from someone who had fought alone against countless of enemies for the past few years without a single break on his mortal body.

Grinning at the sight of the soldier, one of his arms leaned at his crutch and his other hand reached out to him, only to say simple sentences befitting to bring this conversation, well.. somewhere.

"Sup. I guess introduction is pointless here between the both of us. Just get it over with and release the strongest state that you can go into to save some time from all the kiddy fights. So yeah, try your best."

Making his declaration from his thoughts without hesitation, what he spoke was the truth and sincere. He was tired from all of the fights that was never taken seriously at some point, especially that his original self never fought seriously except just that once during the Australia War. The Nightmare himself was not interested on fights with weak punches and kicks anymore as it has been going like that for the years of fighting he had gone through. This sentence he spoke was either a 'take it or leave it' scenario. Really, it is up to the decision of this man to fight seriously or do it half-assedly. Attack him, scratch him, whatever this young soldier wants. The Nightmare simply stood there steady and strong, his crimson red eyes continued to stare as laziness became noticeably swept across his eyes. Insanity is just waiting to be lit in the Nightmare's head, because he hasn't been letting it out for the time of his death. Now, let's get this started, shall we?

Artist: Homestuck OST - Song: Dance of Thorns - Word Count: 1938

Always off to the side, away from most things. That had been Kayta's life, for the most part... From birth to adolescence, she had been away from the Sugiuran lands. Honestly... They were beautiful within her eyes. Every step she took was much slower than Hayden's own, eyes scanning the beautiful fauna that decorated the country-side. It was all nice... It was all worth protecting, but there was still the matter of war. The houses in the distance, the farms, all of the Sugiuran that only wanted to thrive... She had to protect them. She was in line for the throne, all she had to do was prove her worth and make her appearance to those waring for the position. It was her duty, no, her life calling to fight for the Sugiurans of the Western Kingdom, no, for all of the Sugiurans.

Her attire was similar to what she typically wore, clothing that didn't impede any of her movements. Cargo pants that were dark gray in coloration clung to her legs, kept on through a belt strapped with different types of ammunition, all loaded into clips prematurely. It was an obvious hint of her fighting style, but that didn't mean she was useless up close. Just below her knees were sheaths for combat knives, safely tucked away as to not hurt herself... But close enough that they would be easy to pull out for a fight. Combat Boots thunked against the ground with every step, crushing the grass underneath her.

Bellowing out behind her was the ends of her cloak, the hood very large and meant to represent just what she was. A member of The Black Hood. The cloak wasn't exactly firmly attached to her body, only held to her through a belt in her mid-section keeping it contained, the rest flowing freely to reveal her body. Tones tummy accompanied by her obvious lack of a proper top, a bikini top instead taking the place as eyes stared forwards. The hood was on at least, and it covered a majority of her jet black hair, only the single streak of white seen. She looked odd enough, and compared to Hayden, it would be hard to sense her. Despite her lineage, her blood had been tainted through mating with another family, her own mother not even that powerful in term of the Leonhardts.

Despite her tainted blood, it didn't take away from the fact that she felt a strong calling to taking up the Sugiuran role as a leader... So each step she took still had it's own hop to it, leading her along as hands rested within pockets, eyes staring outwards. She was quite a couple of yards away from Hayden, only glancing to the back of his head every so often. She -did- bring him here, didn't she? A being not of Sugiuran blood walking within their lands, and one of such power as well. Ah, no matter the case, she could trust the man after the training they had done under Animum. Hell, Kayta was strong enough to survive the intense spiritual pressure of Animum, and had survived a lot of her training. At this point, she could probably fight off a lot of the invaders by herself.

"Yeah yeah, I feel it. No need to tell me twice. But uh, yeah dude, sounds like a good enough plan. We lead 'em away while trying to find the fucker that wants to mess with my home land. Hell, mess with what I'm soon to be leading! Anyways, uh, yeah. Lead the way dude, you're the walking nuke, I'm just the one with guns." That was her response to Hayden, already informing him of how she planned to go about this. Sure, she was much more than a person with guns, and could achieve a lot more... Buuuut, there wasn't all too much else she could do when compared to someone as strong and powerful as Hayden.

Soon enough, something was coming -fast-. Luckily, for Kayta, she could easily be missed since her power wasn't exactly the best. It was far from normal, but with Hayden nearby? She could probably walk away form any major conflict without being noticed. Doesn't mean she would, only a coward would do something so heinous and childish. Kayta planned to fight besides this man with all of her strength, and all of her power. Even though she was weak, she did have a few tricks up her sleeve that should help the Slayer get an edge on any battle he's placed in. She was fast enough to keep up with Animum at some points, so all she had to do was avoid any catastrophic attacks.

Soon enough, the figure appeared in front of them... And spoke rather quickly. That was it? No big monologue, no speech as to why you're fighting, just saying that you want a real one? What the fuck was this entire war for then? Just for shits and giggles, to meet strong fighters? From what Kayta's heard, this was supposed to be a force that wanted to reform and recreate the world in a sense, but right now? It just looked like someone trying to abuse their powers... To Kayta, it seemed like even a sneeze from this guy would take out a building if it was focused. His power was great... Though not as powerful as Animum's? Wow, that almost humored Kayta, the big bad evil person behind all of this was -weaker- than the random Ziamichi she found?

Wellll.... Animum was holding back, and he probably won't. So there's that, so she should probably take to heart the lesson she learned earlier of not being too cocky. Eyes narrowed towards this figure, she seemed to be ignored... Well, her power was much lesser, but damn, he should have good enough eye-sight to see her all the way back there. No matter the case, hands dropped to her sides, slipping out from her pockets as a bright flash of light would -definitely- get his attention. They were focused within her palms, soon fading away to reveal that she had summoned weapons, her Sacred Weapons.

Hope and Despair. Two guns intertwined deeply with Kayta, a conduit for her powers. They resembled that of normal Uzi's, retaining the same size, shape, and general structure. The only difference was that the clips seemed to be rather big on them. To someone of Kayta's level, these were powerful weapons... But to beings of great power before her? Eh, child's play to what they could do... Sorta. A grin formed upon Kayta's lips as she could finally test out her powers after the harsh, life-threatening training she had received from Animum. Both arms had swung backwards, gust of wind from the action forcing her cloak to bellow out behind her as the clips that were attached to the gun glowed brightly for just a moment, filled with Kayta's energy as she stood right back up, both arms held outwards.

With arms straight, her weapons were already aimed upon this new target, smirk upon her lips only growing in size as eyes stared forwards. The weapons did hold a powerful force that would make even a 0 tier be cautious of what power she could pack. Kayta wasn't strong, she wasn't tough... Though she was smart, and quick. With her cards played correctly, she could actually do something to Sou. Hayden was here to make-up for the physical prowess and strength she didn't possess, but he didn't have quite as much utility as she did. She had tricks, she had traps, and oh boy, did she have the skill to set them off in ways that would benefit this little rag-tag team or people who didn't belong. A sugiuran who had not once stepped in her home world, vying for the throne... And a Vizard that was only here to help, and to fight off the invading forces. A little bit of an odd duo, but one that should work well.

"Alright, so since I was pretty much ignored, I'm gonna make my presence known now, kay? Thanks~. Anyways, uh, no. No at this whole war thing because it's fucking bullshit and we're here to make sure it doesn't touch the Sugiurans. It's my duty as a Leonhardt to make sure stupid shit doesn't harm my people, and if I ever wanna even live up to my name, taking care of a freak like you should be cake. Try to hit me, if you can~." The last few words escaped her lips with a teasing tone, smirk only growing wider and wider. She sure was cocky, and certainly acted like she had a lot to back up her words, but truthfully? She didn't really have that much other than pure skill to not be obliterated in a single strike.

Heh, that shouldn't be that hard, right? She -was- pretty fast, and would only power up in speed in just a single moment. One last flash of light was emitted forth from her, ending just as quick as it had started as her body had changed... She only had access to her first release, her Joushou. Her power was at it's pique at this moment, and it wasn't even close to being equal to either of the people here, but that's wasn't the purpose of this release at all. It enhanced her speed, and gave her an extremely vital ability that would prove useful. Without it? Well, Hayden might have a much harder time than he really needs to have.

Her appearance had changed dramatically, her clothing being the main aspect as the right leg of her pants suddenly became skin-tight, taking on the colorful pattern of warning symbols with bright yellow lines running down her leg, leaving black lines to separate each one. What was once a long cloak had shifted into something smaller, a vest to cover her chest fairly well with bright, yellow... Almost glowing streaks running through the fabric. It even seemed to come with a piece to cover her mouth, which was already pulled up to do so. It definitely had the whole theme of bright and flashy going on, that much was for sure.

"'Aight, Hayden, I got a game plan. Fuck him up." That wasn't -really- the plan she had in mind... But it worked for now, going to get done what needed to be accomplished. With him rushing ahead, it gave her the time she needed to set up the perfect ability to really tip the scales in their favor. It didn't take a genius to know that Hayden wasn't just as powerful as Sou, the energy signatures felt much different... But it didn't take a genius either to know that power isn't everything. "Come on then! Show us what ya' got! If you wanna attack my homeland, then you better give it all you got!" A taunting phrase was shouted out towards Sou, trying to rile the individual up more and more, as best as she could.

The only -real- part about this battle that did them a good deed was the fact that they were in the country-side, away from any heavily populated areas or towns. Sure, there was one in the far distance... But it was far enough that any stray attacks from what may happen here should hopefully miss or simply be defended against. It... Troubled Kayta, but she had to remain strong, and stay determined. If she couldn't even last against this fight, how would she last against foes much stronger than her that threatened to destroy the Sugiuran race... How would she even be able to prepare everyone for the Tig-Ani?

Artist: N/A - Song: Dance Of Thorns - Word Count: 2825

Here we go again; the same old song and dance that Desmond had grown accustomed to for the four hundred years he has walked the realms of death and life, some of those years spent as a human like the male before him and some of them spent as a spirit. The situation was amusing to say the least when you looked at the grand scale of things, he was here to fight Hayden and Kayta to potentially kill them to progress his ‘sinister’ plot to reform the world or some shit. The same old song and dance he has heard for the past few hundred years and frankly; he was getting pissed off at it.

Who does one comment on the train of thought that goes through this former Fallen Soldier mindscape, how do you portray this to the outside world when dealing with insanity in front of you? The answer was simple for Hayden and that was to not even talk about it. Sharing his thoughts would just cause some philosophical bullshit during this fight that was meant to bring the death of one side of this war. Now why the main guy that was planning to reform the world decided to meet Hayden here of all places was beyond his reasoning and he wasn’t about to pause this clusterfuck to ask him. It was all apart of some grand scheme Hayden knew nothing about but he would stop it. At least attempt to do so… Ain’t the world just a fucked up place where you gotta kill a man just cause he decided to start a war? Well time to get this party started.

As he flew by Hayden at a speed Hayden could rather easily pick up because well… he was a speedy guy himself that always maintained a combat ready mind from years within the military he had to whistle at the approach; guy sure could show off. The landing was a bit strange to Hayden but if thats how the guy wanted to introduce himself to the two he wouldn’t judge him; because soon enough he’d be dead. Some would see this as cockiness but that was the only viable solution currently in Hayden mind, this darkness that presided over the man wasn’t something that people could chalk up to a illness or misconception; it was insanity that needed to be brought to a end for his own sake. Well maybe not for his but the world’s at least.

The next noticeable factor was the energy he gave off and released allowing Hayden to deduce he wasn’t the strongest foe he ever met nor the weakest, but what was strange was the pressure emitting from him. The energy was unlike anything he had encounter and that piqued his curiosity, this energy was neither like his own reiatsu or death matter placing it into a class all it’s own. Now how he used this energy would be up for debate once the battle started but it was best to never assume anything partiulcarly when dealing with beings of Hayden caliber. It was a stupid and fatal mistake to jump to conclusions that could drastically change the field of battle, he knew nothing of the man before him other than the strange energy being leaked. But what he said next was a amusing to say the least but also enraging.

His words were so short and blunt Hayden had to sigh at the briefness, this was the man who wanted to start a war nay did start a war to change the worlds he believed and it just wanted to jump right in with no explanation. Well one could say he had a focus to be frank. None the less Hayden was ok with this due to the factor if he wanted to go all out this fight would be quick, Hayden could take a beating but who he worried for was his partner in battle. She would have to prove herself useful today in both skill and tactical thinking when it came to this endeavor and speaking of her Hayden eyes shifted to Kayta as she spoke before back to Sou.

Hayden had to admire how she was willing to practically verbally spit on the man causing him to laugh a bit as a smile spread on his lips, one that betrayed his internal feelings of amusement at this man coming to this realm on this particular day. He wanted to fuck with the Sugierans and frankly Hayden didn’t like that, he didn’t like how this man wanted to change the whole world like a child who couldn’t get his way. The world was- is a mean place that will beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it, the measure of a person character is not what they accomplish in Hayden’s eyes but what they can endure but still be willing to stand up. In the single regard he respected the man before him as a warrior but as a person he detested him; because of that he would feel the wrath of a man who has endured perhaps the same amount of pain.
Kayta next comment about her game plan and wanting to Hayden to simply fuck him up was interesting, it was clear to Hayden at least she had something up her sleeves. She was a fiery one Hayden had to cough up but this would make this battle all the more enjoyable from his view point. Everything that was going to happen today would be a climactic build up to either further the war plans of this man or halt them for now; if he was a smart man he would have some contingency plans for his death which Hayden himself had for his own people. But that was all unimportant at this particular moment. What was important was unleashing hell in a hand basket for the man who wanted to end this fight quickly and decisively which was something Hayden was willing to do; although in Hayden’s favor. He suppose the charades where over and it was time to acknowledge this whole event before proceeding to dismantle it one layer at a time.

“I don’t know you, mate. I don’t quite like you either. You got this whole mastermind aura mixed with some type of insanity that I had enough with in my life. However this ends we both know this is the same old song and dance with a supposed Villain and Heroes. History repeats it’s self and whatever Hell you rose out of we’ll send you right back. You want to go all out, then fuck it; no mercy for either of us. I’m Desmond but friends call me Hayden; let’s get this over with.”

That was all that needed to be said it was a taunt and declartion of intent to do battle it was at least the honorable thing to do; despite all of this it was time to unleash hell. Would he got to his strongest form out of the gate? Somewhat to be honest. His bankai was something to be feared in both the sense it could take a thrashing and deliver on rather swiftly but his true trump cards laid deep within his being. None the less as he spoke the outpouring of energy into the air could be felt by both of them and it was clear this energy was his somewhat signature technique known as ‘Death Matter’.

As the essence of death poured from Hayden body in volumes sinking into the around around him like a small area of effect just barely stopping a mere few feet from Kayta due to how far behind she was from the two. But the very ground and air around Hayden was being used as a fuel source as it began to break down becoming part of his energy source quickly as the death particules began to become visible by the pure will of Hayden making it so. This was what he was known for around the cosmos to be frank but it was only a singular aspect of him something that was thrust upon him with no consent whatsoever; because of this he once was bitter towards it but now? He accepted it as apart of him and due to this he had gained unbridled power that was aching to be released on the sub-human before him.

The next thing that happened as these black particles floated in the air around Hayden was a simple command on Hayden part as he gripped his Zanpakutō hilt removing it slowly but with that it caused a massive release of spiritual pressure. Enough to rumble the ground and sky before them as the clouds above head began to whirl and storm as the Storm Bringer was mentally entering into a state of focus which was signified by the closing of his hazel eyes and the awakening of them by opening his eyes once more to reveal a deep maroon color. The rage was released just as his Zanpakutō was but condensed into a form of focus that would allow his mind to enter into a pure state of combat bliss. It was time to utter that single word that would change everything. It was time for his Bankai.

“Bankai.”

The word uttered was accompanied by a brilliant surge of reiatsu, the force of a earthquake released within a contained radius as a swirling vortex of maroon and black energy engulfed Hayden. The out pour of energy was ridiculous for someone of his supposed tier and had Kayta been caught in the Area of effect that the death matter had originally poured into their was a strong chance there would be no Kayta. Hayden bankai possessed a strange passive of damn near doubling his spiritual pressure and reiatsu causing a instant craterization of the ground around him and making it difficult for those to be in his mere presence; this mostly would apply to Kayta if she chose to enter into the sphere he had created to contain this usually larger explosion of energy but for Sou he would simply feel a heavy pressure and perhaps be slowed a bit. This was called the ‘Catastrophic Reiatsu Surge’ a very deadly side effect to his Bankai which made Hayden glad this fight was far away from the city. None the less he was covered in the surging energy that extended in the sky well above the clouds for a few moments before it died down revealing the change in character.

Where Hayden once stood was a man covered in a black ethereal armor that looked like the bastard child between a medieval knight and some type of death creature and dragon. The armor helmet resembled a dragon slightly with horns pointing upwards and a burning blue flames where the eyes holes where, his body encased in this armor which held skulls at each joint. The sword he carried was massive and mis happen to say the least, one side of it being a jagged blade that was razor sharp leaking energy out with the other side covered in black hardened substance with teeth on the thickest center portion of the blade as if it hungered for death. This was Hayden Bankai but he was not done yet for this was just the beginning of everything that would lead to a victory or defeat for him.

For what followed next was the icing on top of the cake of in terms of when it came to Hayden power and what he was drawing from, if this enemy wanted to see him at his full power than he would do something many Vizard user tended to do when faced with a difficult enemy. Reaching up to his face using his free hand he held it over his face as the armor around his face began to morph from black to white rapidly bubbling even before a mask slowly formed over his face draconic in appearance, a red thick arrow ran down half the portion of his left side just going from his forehead down in the color of red. This would augment all of his powers increasing his already enhanced speed and strength to a level in which someone of Sou level would easily find some difficulty in. This was the last transformation he would be applying for now as he swiped his sword into a ready stance. It was time to begin the battle that would decide the fate of this city along with the inhabitants in this realm; quite the fight ahead of them.

As the swirling vortex surrounded Hayden in a circular motion affecting a area of five meters out from every side of him forming a perfect circle as the very ground beneath him was being converted into his secondary energy source. He eye’d the male with his own burning blue orbs before taking a single step forward and disappearing from sight of most likely Kayta and Sou using both his mastery over his movement and the augmentation to bring his Hoho up to a master level. A single afterimage was left in his place as he arrived in front of Sou but he soon would disappear at the same near untrackable speed, should they be able to see him they would see he had performed a half circle around Sou before launching himself into the air. The momentum as he launched forward from behind Sou caused his leg to carry the force to break the ground into a crater beneath them, should the flipping kick make contact with Sou it would have well enough force to bury him into the ground like a nail. However, should he miss and his foot land in the earth his Zanpakutō would become a blurr as it slashed sideways attempted to slice through whatever defenses the male had. However this exchange ended it would cause Hayden to jump backwards ten meters beginning to lift himself into the air.

The physical confrontation would allow Hayden to judge his skill and strength but he would make it his best not to get hit, even with his armor he knew little of his enemy powers so for now he would barrage him with a speciality of Hayden’s. Hayden held a very special type of Bola called Red Cannon Bolas due to the special properties they possessed in combat. When launched instead of exploding on contact these Bolas are compacted tightly and densely adding to their weight but adding a type of ‘punching’ power to them. When they strike their target it could very well carry the target along it’s path like a bullet ripping the guts out a man out, and explode in a small but highly contained explosion creating a deeper but smaller wound. Due to this it made them slower than the typical Bola but due to the speed Hayden held he could produce a large amount quickly to barrage his enemy just as he was attempting to do now.

Hayden hand would thrust out as a steady stream of soccer ball sized Bola’s flew from his hand at a quick speed but slower than the typical Bola. The bola’s would follow whatever movements Sou made as Hayden hand trailed after him and should they hit he would feel as if he was struck by Hayden fist at full power before burrowing through his shield (like naruto rasengan) before exploding in a small but highly condensed explosion that could easily splatter a normal human but for someone on their tier it would take atleast advance durability to not feel the effects of the steady stream of Bolas flying from his hand. Hayden would make sure to keep track of his aiming to not hit the city in the distance or Kayta, but should he get close he would be prepared to counter attack with his blade or begin to shift his stance to change his position. It should also be noted the aura of death matter surrounding Hayden was still growing tighter and tighter around him creating a sort of vacuum around him, this excess energy holding nor purpose as of yet but as a secondary source of energy and protection.

This was the thrill of Battle he had enjoyed for years but it was slowly replaced with his slow burning rage and wrath of having to tap into the powers of his beast to gain the edge he needed. He wanted to make Sou pay for invading these lands and making everything just a wee bit more fucked up, he was tired of this song and dance that would lead to no where but another death. Just like the arrancar child, this battle would end in the death of someone today. It was Hayden job to make sure it wasn’t a ‘hero.’ The same damn song and dance.

Well, being ridiculously strong isn't exactly his forte. Sou himself is not a very threatening opponent when it comes to his atmosphere, since the pressure he is releasing is just what naturally leaks out of his body as he has no control over how much pressure would be released. However, it does change according to how much strength he intends to output and considering that he passively uses just a percent of his strength was enough to give off enough pressure to make himself a threat in combat. The Nightmare may not be extremely strong like those of the top fighters, however, to the point in which he was declared with war against the entire world gave him enough fame to know that his existence alone can be considered a global threat. If he was a small fry, then a thing such as 'war against the entire world' wouldn't be a thing. As much as he didn't want to boast, he would be considered a problematic opponent to deal with, even if he won't be able to win by any case, to individuals much like Shadin himself. As long as it is not 'him', killing Sou would be an extremely difficult task, much less defeating him. It is not impossible, but for someone who has experienced a consecutive defeat of two years and even death itself, that experience alone is enough to back up anything left of his weaknesses in his past battles to make him a tough opponent to fight.

His demeanor was calm and collected, carrying together with an expression of an inattentive young man who couldn't bother listening to any nonsense that was threw by the young woman, things that are not related to the motive he has in mind. In all honesty, Sou could not bother even a second to take the situation seriously despite what he had said, it is as if he had lost all that fire and the short-temper he once had to really make himself look like an intimidating threat. As of now? He lacks the motivation to really take these kids seriously, because he clearly knew how not to die and keep their assaults into moderation since he has no intentions of going soft or too hard on them.

Blah. A single concept of that very word would be compressed from annoying flaps of the young woman's mouth. Not bother listening to any of her mighty sentences, that single word was a conclusion he is going to make in his head and ears. His eyes adjusted itself lazily to the Leonhardt girl's direction, without being intimidated even in the slightest by her words and the two weapons being aimed directly at him. It was not the first time someone has pointed his or her weapon at him nor shall it be the last time since judging from the two of them, he could handle this fight without taking it too seriously.

Witnessing the short changes she had done to herself, regardless of what just happened, his expression held a literal expression of 'ok' without putting much thought into it, because that was the only reaction he could give to such changes since the only thing set in his mind about the appearance change to a different outfit was the word 'slut being sluttier'. If it was the him in the past, he would've given off some sort of speech or words to describe her changes but after all of that? He couldn't care less now.

Tch. His tongue clicked as his crimson red eyes shifted its attention back to Hayden, at least a more interesting individual is what he thought. His back was out in the open, completely vulnerable to the likes of the Leonhardt without barely caring for her presence in this battlefield. Before you think about it, he does not intend to underestimate her abilities at all, since he had fought someone who he once thought was far beyond him and yet, he fell to a defeat to this.. shinigami. Even people that he thought are 'weaklings' are not to be underestimate after that experience but again, he didn't have the time to care about her since stronger individuals are more problematic especially those that can leave a dent on him. Keeping the same position as he is before, he has all the angles and places for the Leonhardt girl to attack him from considering that he intentionally left himself open to give her the free shots while Hayden's at it to go into Bankai.

The Nightmare doesn't know what both of them can and cannot do, but eh, what is there to fret about? His plans is to keep things under control and that's probably it. He has no grand plan or idea to fight them, since he has to gauge what they can do so he can appropriately break them apart from there without hesitation. To be honest, he didn't know if he is either irritated, bored or simply didn't care for the circumstances that he is in. As much as he loved to take fun and joy out of this fight, he simply couldn't. Well, that's that about his own thoughts of this situation that is going on with one girl talking nonsense and one guy talking as if he knew exactly what is going on. At this point, he spoke out from his own mind for a brutal honesty all the way down, wishing to not take shit from words anymore since he has remained speechless for what has been going on with their mouths.

"Seriously, why do you guys talk so much? I might fall asleep before the fight even begins."

After that? Well, you've guessed it. It was his bankai as requested. What a gratitude to experience someone's bankai when asked and surely, you don't get there anywhere else when one asks that nicely, eh? Well, he ought' be very grateful of what is happening right now considering he put a thought in his words and willingly go to the strongest possible state he was able to go into.

But it all went flat in a matter of seconds. Yes, he wanted a bankai and get this over with. However, this shinigami. No, this person, is simply killing the purpose behind it. Having a higher state much like a human's awakening is the strength that it possesses and throwing out what it is capable of, but this? All that energy was feasible, commendable and most importantly, powerful 'at best'. Changes in appearances, increase in spiritual power, different sorts of energy engulfing the air and so on? It is merely a waste of time. This is a fight; not a competition of who has the biggest dick here by outputting a ridiculous amount of spiritual pressure just to wish for his opponent to be amazed or afraid of his power. He simply has witnessed enough people for his scale of power, as this shinigami is not the first person in the entire world to see this level. Well, if he wants to wave around his energy that much to show what he is capable of, then Sou himself will just prove our little Hayden boy here that he met the wrong person to showcase those sprinkles.

He was not going to make himself look stronger in any of this case neither was he going to unleash the full potential of his I.E.B.N, a machine that goes around his wrist that pumps life into his body, but the Nightmare was going to make adjustments to his own body. Since the release of his body's external pressure is due to the adjustments of his strength, tuning it up just for a few percent? Well, it was just the right amount to create an explosive force around him, cushioning whatever that Hayden is capable of throwing at him to leave from a little to no effect against him, as well as having a delicate control over his surroundings of not going overboard into matching his own pressure against the Vizard's. Seriously, who wants to show that they have a bigger ding than their dong? Hell, he has no interest of going upfront with the young vizard and show him who's boss. While Hayden's overall spiritual pressure and dawning his mask is intimidating to really show what he is capable of? He made a mistake.

Pouring out all that power outwards into a widespread energy? Just by concentrating on his own strength for a bit, he is able to change the concentration in which his pressure's area of effect would be shorter, however, compact and powerful once he compresses that pressure around him, he was able to unleash a densely packed pressure that clearly cuts right past all of that monstrous power he intends to pour out and have him feel the full effects of his pressure that can even a person in his bankai state like Hayden to feel as if his chest is being crushed under the weight of something heavy. The Nightmare didn't have time to keep pouring out pressure across the atmosphere, because he was going to simply compress the pressure around him, densely pack it around his body to not only null out any possible effects that is able to do to him both physically whether externally or internally, and mentally but it is also let the vizard to feel the full brunt of the Nightmare's pressure that has packed enough power to really rival himself against his bankai if he so willingly to take this fight on a serious note. It wasn't who has the strongest spiritual power but it is those who has the greatest control over it.

Brushing his hair up for a bit, Sou still took this rather nonchalantly. Well, it is expected for someone who never stopped his tracks in combat before, not even once. His mind back in those days were all about fighting and becoming powerful enough to go up against the likes of the Demon Queen and Shadin Yuudeshi, losing one battle after another, it was either because he never fought them at his best or it is because he wanted to learn more of what he can or cannot do in combat. Wiping out one weakness after another, while the Nightmare still does have a weakness, he wiped out enough of them to even stand against the strongest beings that can be thrown right at him. After all, back in those days, his ambition was to be the 'world's strongest natural human that surpasses even the supernatural', a human that would never need to utilize any powers to overpower any of his opponents, and here, he decided to start proving his title from here.

If Hayden thought he was the fastest even with the vizard mask, he would be dead wrong. Sou had long produced countermeasures against little runts that knows how to move around like him. Calculating his surroundings, even the fastest opponents would still need to 'push' away air particles that is against their way when they move, otherwise, they would be severely injured by air resistance. Since Sou cannot naturally react fast, combining both the calculation abilities of his brain, the Annihilator and the I.E.B.N, while they may not be absolute, he would be able to accurately determine the position in which Hayden moves just by keeping track of changes in the air around him. This allows him to react 'early', not 'fast', to situations if his opponents surpasses his reaction speed, even if it has went over drastic improvements from his battles, the speed that Hayden is moving under required measures from his machines to do the work. Since it long had built-in sensors that was originally made in case of the failure of his I.E.B.N, it can be used for these purposes too if done correctly, allowing him to keep up even with Shadin's speed when they fight.

With Hayden on the other hand, the Nightmare would have no quarrels with him moving as fast as he loves, unless he can go faster to the point that can go past the processing speed of his machines, breaking a few times past the sound barrier wouldn't even be enough. The test of strength, eh? This kind of act is brave for a strong vizard like him to perform, but what he facing against is someone that is capable of controlling his strength at will and if he didn't put into consideration of the pressure that he attempted to crush the Vizard with earlier ago? He would be up for a treat when he tries to do play the game of brawn.

He kept his calm, analyzing the position that Hayden would constantly be in despite under the intense speed he moves under, by doing constant calculations in his surroundings, his eyes never flinched not even once. Not until when the Vizard male launched himself up into the air, his head lazily adjusted itself upwards and a pair of crimson red eyes would plainly stare at the momentum he is moving under. From there? His hand would reach right out, in an attempt to catch his leg with the amount of force it is carrying from its momentum. The Nightmare didn't care if it were to even damage his hand even just a little, but this may well be the only message that he will be giving him to let him know who he is dealing with. Bankai or not, Sou did have caught a train with his bare hands before that moves in a momentum that had far more energy and force that Hayden's simplistic kick.

If he is able to catch Hayden's leg? Well, first off, when both his hand and Hayden's leg makes contact, well, without further hesitation, Sou would proceed to break both the flesh and bones within Hayden's leg. No, it won't be just a simple 'snap' to his leg. He will cripple his leg to the point where his leg would be deprived of oxygen, blood, nerves and so on, and enough damage where even healing or regeneration would not save that leg anymore. The Nightmare didn't have time to deal with fun and games, since he is fighting at his best, he will give this Vizard man props for granting that request of his.

First? It would be to 'contain' all of that force right into his hand. This feat done by the likes of the vizard was not much, since the way how the Nightmare handles in using strength is fundamentally different from most, all that force carried by the momentum of Hayden's speed would be under the state of vibration once it impacts right against the palm of his hand, and by then? His muscle tissues across his arm would expand, enough to absorb all of that energy into the tissues without damaging it since his internal muscles has handled much more force and energy than this since he was once left with a couple of scratches even after splitting a path into two for miles, this kind of force was like a child's place to him. From there? He would compress all of that force to increase the density of the absorbed force from Hayden's impact, and redirect everything right back into his leg with twice the actual strength that was released upon Sou.

That is not all though. Since it came from Sou's internal body, he made a little bit of tweaking and with the intentions to cripple his leg from any means of healing or even regeneration, or even being able to be used in any other conditions. Instead of blowing it apart, he intends to break apart Hayden's entire leg on the inside while leaving a layer of skin and flattened meat on the outside, using vibrations to destroy his flesh and bone, atom by atom, molecule by molecule at a point which it would have evaporated right out of existence by the intensity of the vibrations being sent right back into his leg.

Healing? No. Regeneration? No. Rebuild the leg? No. With his experiences dealing with opponents that could regenerate or incapable of feeling pain, he would reapply the same but adjusted concept against him. Sou would attempt to sever his leg from all possible connection that allows his body to 'connect' or 'contact' his energy to heal that specific area by distorting the area around his leg, and directly regenerating it from the existing limb? Well, by scattering vibrations within the internal of his body, like cancer itself, it would obliterate any flesh and bones that comes right out of the blue, and if it persistently healed regardless of the circumstances? Well, these vibrations would serve to 'attach' itself to the molecules of his flesh, and even his bloodstream. Knowing how vibration works, especially in sounds, it would create a fairly weak signal within the insides of his body just by vibrating at a specific tick to relay message across Hayden's internal body. Since each cell has functions of its own, just by attaching itself to any of them would be enough. Yes, just enough to force Hayden's entire nervous system to attack himself; damaging his organs, throwing off his balance, affect his motor skills and so on.

Without a single mercy spared against him, Sou intends to destroy him faster than he could heal, whether physically or mentally. If for some reason that it does not work? Well, with all of that force being slammed right into him? He intends to strike right against his nerves and create an intensity of pain enough to make Hayden felt like as if his leg was sent into multiple dimensions, obliterated countless of times and crushed repeatedly. This idea was to that if he cannot physically destroy or cripple his opponents, this mental destruction is one other method. Since the Nightmare himself has went through different ordeals that would be enough to even kill especially the likes of the Vizard, he would intensify that pain a hundred, if not, a thousand times more than the actual damage since he knows exactly how to trigger that response in the body. Whether if his body is made of flesh, energy or anything of an another world, he knows how to get around him to have him feel pain that even the toughest of minds would break apart eventually. Not instantly, but eventually.

However, if the Vizard still persists to draw out his Zanpakutō to cut him? A light click from his tongue would be enough to create a weak vibration to 'guide' the Zanpakutō's direction away from him from being cut. Since the vizard's aim was to 'cut' with that Zanpakutō, not knowing what tricks he may have up his sleeve, he know 'cut' is the only word behind that attack. So, instead of physically confronting the attack, it would softly guide the direction away from even leaving a scratch on the skin of the Nightmare. Simply put, the vizard would feel as if someone or something moved the Zanpakutō away from him. It is not that he 'blocked' it, 'defended' against it or 'attacked' the Zanpakutō, instead, to save himself the energy of even moving his hand, attacking or even put up his vector field to defend himself, just 'moving' it away would be enough with a click of his tongue.

With that set and good to go? He had no time to deal with.. kiddy bullets. Barraging with energies? Well, well, he must be either out of his mind or out of options in this fight. He didn't want to waste his time taking it on one by one, bullet by bullet, because seriously? After all that big talk that this vizard made, this was all he wants to do to take this fight seriously? Man, no wonder he had no motivation to deal with both of them. Either way, he doesn't want to dirty his clothes neither does he want to waste too much of his energy to deal with a huge numbers of bullets coming at his direction. Sighing disappointingly, he guessed this is as far as he wants to get things done.

Within a flash, the Nightmare swung his crutch upwards and simply put a conclusion into this, the strength and energy imbued into the entirety of the crutch had enough power to create a powerful explosive force of shockwave, causing abnormal vibrations across the air above him and towards the Bolas that instead of causing the air to combust into flames, the intense vibrations caused between particles, especially the Bolas being caught in it, its compact and densely packed shape and energy made the job easier, since it would cause the air around and the energy particles within the Bolas to vibrate so intensely against each other, it would have burned too much energy and cause the Bolas to suddenly explode mid-air. Why? While it does burn out all the energy within the tightly packed Bola and causing it to run out of energy to retain its power nor its form, the vibrations would cause an explosion from the Bolas due to the frictional force that 'releases' the energy and causing it to explode. The explosion is not that big of a deal, since it is comparable to that of a dynamite's.

Rolling his eyes over, for the entirety of the situation, the Nightmare himself remained at the same exact position since the beginning of Hayden's assault. Standing his ground and maintaining his calm, it was clear that he is.. well, tired of his shit. Bankai? This is nothing but a mockery to begin with. Truly, this is a waste of time. Sou didn't bother attacking him at all, no, he didn't have the need to even start his assault in the first place. Why? He is not given a reason to really.. attack him. If this is truly a 'bankai' that the vizard just spitted right out of his mouth, then he should let it BE a bankai. All he has seen from him was 'Who has the biggest dick?' competition after his bankai, display of false strength and throwing nerf darts at him from the skies. That is probably the entire conclusion that he has seen from him and that is more like a normal kid's fight than a bankai in the first place. At this point, Sou don't even feel like taking this seriously and retreat from the Sugiura Realm without a second thought. Sighing again, the Nightmare made his statement clear this time without even beginning his assault as he stood on the same position with the exact calm expression that he had from the beginning, because really, he IS getting tired of this.

"I am tired of your shit. You have two choices from now, alright? You can either fight with everything that you have or i will just leave. I just don't want to waste my time anymore with you."

His eyes was dead serious with his statement. Hayden doesn't even deserve to 'earn' an attack from him at all. He didn't care whatever the Leonhardt girl or the vizard has to say about this but really, their antics either stops here or he will take a step right out of here. Reason? Going all out just because the vizard is not fighting at his best would just be a waste of time and energy. At this point? He would rather save all that energy to really get a kick out of a fight. This was the conclusion that is going to make out of this. In the end, the word 'Bankai' is just nothing but a weak, delusional power that is incapable of even hurting a fly to him. So, both of the young'uns should quickly make their decisions before wasting his time any further with pointless bickering with plastic swords and nerf darts.

Artist: Undertale OST - Song: SharaX - Battle Against A True Hero - Word Count: 2499

So much power.

It was a feeling that Kayta was used too, and honestly? She could easily say herself that Hayden's bankai wasn't the strongest she's ever seen. Animum had a much more powerful release just naturally, and it was something that the Sugiuran was already quite used too. The spiritual pressure being released was something to still be noted, and something that could still kill her with the concentration of pure force behind it. Eyes glanced over towards Hayden's position, watching as the ground around him began to crumble and cave in on itself. That was the power of his Bankai, instant destruction to the area around him. Hell, he even made a pretty deep crater! Kayta was... Well, pretty glad that she wasn't next to him, or else she might even be taken out of commission for a good while.

For the next few moments, Kayta could only interact as a spectator. A shot from her weapons would be devastating to anyone hit, even her own allies. Her true power may be weak, but the utility she had was amazing. The power to avoid, power to disorientate, power to re-direct, all of it gave her an advantage in a fight over those who seemed to only give out raw power, and both of these knuckleheads seemed to do just that. Overpower their enemies and give a true display of might. Scanning, curious eyes already found themselves glued unto the scene that was just about to happen, and it would definitely be something that would make her extremely cautious of ever getting close to Sou.

Hayden's strike seemed to just be that, a strike against this powerful being. The most likely decimating strike was caught with a single hand, and when captured, the leg was almost destroyed in a single go. Sou's fingers didn't seem to be moving, he didn't seem to be actively crushing the limb, so it was a power that he activated, an ability to cause all of that. The sound of bones crushing, flesh tearing, the sounds of violence. Sounds of actions that honestly excited her a little bit. Instead of frowning, she began to smile. Edges of her lips slowly curled upwards as eyes began to widened, a slick tongue running along her lips. It was a bit of a weird habit she's picked up from others on her hunt, but it was something a part of her when she finally found something that would keep her interest for a good, long while.

The rest of the actions carried out didn't feel like they needed to affect her all that greatly. They were all focused on Hayden, all redirecting or nullifying his attacks to show who had the most power, and who could utilize it the best. The plainly obvious choice would be Sou, the being who had the gall to wage war on the entire world in an attempt to reform it. That was one of the most disgusting things she's ever heard, reforming the world. What made him different from every other large, antagonizing force? All of them wanted the same thing, to destroy and remake the world. Every big villain from comics, every cartoony show with a bad guy, hell, even the fucking Tig-Ani had the same exact outlook on things. So what made Sou any different from just a generic villain that packed a punch?

The rest of Hayden's onslaught was met with seemingly minimal force. Kayta wasn't able to tell what was happening within his body, or even able to tell what Sou was doing. There was no energy source, no signature. No nothing. It wasn't spiritual pressure or demonic powers or even just normal magic fueling this destruction, but purely physical force... Or a force she couldn't see yet. The back-up strike from Hayden seemed to have next to no effect due to this power, the blade being redirected away so that it wasn't even able to strike at it's originally intended target. What was he doing? What type of power was it? Kayta needed to know, she had to know if she was going to try fighting this target. Every other being she's ever fought has usually made their main way of combat visible, but Sou was able to react with a force that wasn't technically counted as a meta-physical energy. He didn't grab things and then crush them, no, he just held them and let something else do the work.

Even if she couldn't exactly figure out what path he was taking in terms of his destruction, she could tell one thing. He wasn't using any type of energy, he wasn't using an outer force or anything. He was only using himself as a destructive being. Well fuck, if that was the case, then a few of her abilities couldn't work, some of her ideas were already thrown out the window. Her main idea at combating him was ruined since there was no spiritual defense to target and abuse. Warning Shot was useless here, so she had to rely on her other abilities... But that was still no reason to even let her resolve falter. This was the being who wanted to wage war on everything, even the Sugiurans, even a race that has learned to say enough is enough, and fight back with it's full strength against oppressive, devastating forces.

Kayta's breath began to steady, calm, relaxed, and deep. With the blade redirected, Sou had yet another challenge to overcome. Pure energy, balas, blasts from Hayden. These were being shot out towards the figure in an attempt to overwhelm him with the rest of his attacks, but once again, they didn't seem to have a real effect as Sou managed to defend against them. A powerful, upwards swing was just enough to cause each and every one of them to explode harmlessly above, only his raw power being used. Shock waves. Power. Vibrations. Kayta's eyes lit up, the light bulb above her head almost visible as she figured it out. Vibrations, in doing so, he had a wide access to capabilities. He was able to absolutely tear into Hayden's leg with using Vibrations to decimate everything within the muscle and flesh. He was able to shift asides his blade through using hem to redirect, hell, he was even able to send a shock wave outwards strong enough to destroy balas before they could reach him!

This only further complicated things for her, her main style of fighting would be out of the window if he began to put his attention unto her. Bullets? Redirected or destroyed before they could land. Energy? Redirected or hit with a strong enough force to be destroyed before they could reach him. Going up and punching him? Probably resulting in what just happened to Hayden. Many of her options were already being taken away from her, and she was already forced to start thinking of more abstract ways to target this foe. His back was to her, so that would mean she could get a single, good, clean shot against him. One that would possibly lead to his downfall. What else was available to her to allow her a change at fighting this powerful being-

Sugiuran Magic. She would have to go heavily into the support role for this fight, but with Hayden here, they could manage. Her lack of true, raw power was something that would definitely come around to bite her in the ass in this fight, but that didn't mean that her abundance of utility wouldn't come into play. Fingers began to tightly grasp the hilts of her weapons, holding unto them tighter and tighter as the barrels were still lined up against Sou's very being. Hayden's assault had failed, but it did give Kayta the knowledge she needed in order to properly carry out her counter-attack. Hayden would definitely be unable to handle this foe on his own, he needed some help... Fuck, it still felt horrible that Kayta couldn't handle him on his own, that she couldn't match the strength truly needed to lead the Sugiuran race, but that didn't matter. A leader would also throw their life away in order to protect those within the kingdom, and Kayta wasn't afraid to do just that.

Blah blah blah, now Sou wanted to talk. Throughout the small burst of power that had just happened, her view had already began to change of the fight. She was no longer going to be the type to monologue, or make things dramatic. That just wasn't the situation here, and Sou seemed to just brush off any words given to him, so why bother teasing a being that won't even hear it? Eyebrows began to furrow forwards as the once visible smile upon her lips curled downwards into a frown. She needed Hayden to keep acting as the destroyer, a being who excelled at violence, a being that only saw that in a majority of their actions. She needed him to continue harming himself just to land a blow on Sou, she needed his attention split now.

"Shut up. No one cares that you want a fight, they just care that you're waving your dick around trying to kill everything."

Short and simple, just what he wanted. Now, the offer of him just leaving was certainly something that sounded nice, but that didn't stop all of his fucking stupid as shit minions from running all over the place. An army of them could be just as destructive as him, so him leaving would only mean that what would be left is more wide-spread devastation and sorrow. Not only that, he would just go to another area and start causing havoc. Even if it was just the Demon Realm, let's say he took it over, now he has an area to himself to create more and more of those weird beings to assault every other location that hasn't been taken over. Letting him go away without even a scratch would be condemning not only the Sugiurans, but the rest of the world to a longer, more difficult war.

Kayta wasn't exactly one to pull punches, and when she got into it, she would give it her all. Hell, how could she go any less? She's leagues below this being, and anything less than her best wouldn't even harm him at all! So... What could she open with? What would her own assault start with? Hayden definitely wouldn't back down, no, he'd let the adrenaline run through him... Unless he was enough of an idiot to agree to letting him leave and destroying everything else... Only to return back here with a much bigger, stronger, more powerful force. She had to fight, no, she had to defend her race, the people she strived to protect, the people that are the only reason she even exists... The people that gave their everything just to ensure that their future generations could even so much as breath.

With Warning Shot no longer being an option due to his lack of energy based defenses, she decided to take the advantage of him turning his back to her and firing away. Fingers pressed down upon the triggers of her weapons as pure energy was shot forth from the barrels towards her newly found target. Every 'bullet' that came forth was bright yellow in coloration, almost looking like pure light as it soar through the air at incredible speeds. Each clip was emptied entirely, 50 rounds from each clip leading to a barrage of 100 shots being let out in a very short amount of time. Naturally, not every shot would hit the mark, there was spread that needed to be addressed, and this spread would lead to bullets soaring away from Sou, and instead, pelting an area generally around 5 feet around him... Though her goal wasn't to concentrate the entire barrage at him, but to simply hit him with a single shot.

For a being as powerful as Sou, these shots wouldn't hurt all too much. They felt like someone was throwing pens and the like at him rather than firing bullets due to his powerful essence that naturally defended against the shots... But his energy stores would take a very surprising hit if even a single bullet grazed along his flesh. The true properties of her shots would come to fruition upon contact, hitting flesh and bone as all of his energy stores were sapped, taken forcibly away from him and dissipated finely enough that it couldn't be recovered. From the entire barrage, whether he was hit with a single bullet or all of them, only a tenth of his total stores would be depleted from him. For those on a lower scale of power, a tenth wasn't very much if taken from an already small pool, but for Sou? A being who relied purely on his physical strength needed energy to fuel those powerful strikes, to empower his movements and to decimate his enemies. Taking away a tenth of that energy meant he was already working with less energy to even go all out, effectively reducing his long term destruction.

If he even bothered to take notice of the threat that would continue to peg away at him until there was nothing left, Kayta had to have a plan for avoiding instantaneous death. With each clip empty, her arms were quickly swung down to the ground and behind her, all in one, swift motion. When the barrels of Hope and Despair pointed towards the ground, Eidos was already being manipulated underneath her, shifting the ground to fill it with pressure until it was ready to burst. A mine, an oscillation mine, a magic that was native to Sugiurans and only Sugiurans. It did take a fair bit of concentration to keep it from exploding just from her weight, but it wasn't a difficult feat considering she was on her way to mastering her use of Sugiuran magic.

When guns finally lined up behind her, a bright flash of light came forth from the clips as they were already refilled. A tenth of Kayta's energy stores taken away in order to fill each weapon to the absolute brim with her energy. The same type of bullets before, with the same type of effects... Luckily for her, she knew most large fighters had to use a great amount of energy in order to destroy foes, but Kayta? Everything for her was fairly low cost, her movements, many of her abilities, even just refilling these clips. She wasn't meant to decimate foes, but to peg them down enough so that she could outlast them and deliver a coup de grace. Thought with a powerful force like Hayden around... Having him go on the full offensive while Sou has a constant drain of energy and a thorn in his side would work much quicker than a war of attrition.

She just had to survive long enough for Sou to fall. If she could do that, then she could survive, no, the Sugiuran race could survive...
