THE BASICS

» Name: Kimiyo Miyake-Shuryou

» Age: 21

» Gender: Female

» Height: Five Feet, Seven Inches (170 centimeters)

» Weight: 141 pounds (64 kilograms)

PERSONALITY

» Energetic: Kimiyo is a character bursting with energy, so much so that she hardly knows what to do with it all. Most of it is spent fighting, flirting, or training, but Kimiyo has her hand in many other activities as well. Anything she sets her mind to, she can thrive at; she gets things done because she always has the energy to do it. This doesn't make her hyperactive though, as Kimiyo can more or less control herself when she has too much energy, but this creates a problem for her as it all builds up. Unless she has an outlet for this fire, she starts to grow frustrated, anxious, and stressed. Additionally, most activities are boring to her and only temporarily stave off the tension, so only her favorite activities can really use up that energy and erase the anxiety. Overall, this causes her to often hunt for ways to exhaust her vigor through battle, as it is the easiest way for her to solve the issue. If that doesn't work, those around her may suffer as a result of her mood.

» Charismatic: Perhaps Kimiyo's most prominent trait is her charisma, the attribute that makes her such a powerful leader. She acts in a way that attracts the attention of people around her. She exudes incredible confidence in her every move, not unsure of anything she does. She is mindful of her appearance in the eyes of others, always trying her best to look the best. She is purposefully flamboyant in the way she walks, and the way she talks; to be a compelling figure and a role model. She uses that compelling attraction to then charm the onlookers, and inspire them. Through the power of her charisma she rouses the spirits of those around her, increasing morale where there really shouldn't be any. She seems superhuman due to how naturally she can take on the mantle of leadership and use her words to work miracles. She has an incredible talent for this, and it inspires devotion in others, as it has to her sisters, and as it has to her fan bases when she went to school... This is the key quality of what it means to be a Miyake-Shuryou.

» Tough: As someone who loves fighting, it is only natural that Kimiyo be built for the rough-housing. Additionally, as a woman who appears as more of a wallflower than a fighter, she has to be tough-going in order to dispense of such stereotypical treatment and let others know she's a battle girl at heart. She cannot let herself show weakness or falter at any time, and she achieves this with her power and her vigor. To her allies she must be superior, and to her enemies she must be intimidating. This isn't to say it's all an act, as Kimiyo truly is one tough cookie—She takes on challenges that others would think insane, and she refuses to be put down easily whatsoever. She is one tenacious girl... but the thing is that she wants to be taken seriously and show others what she's made of, and it's hard for her to do it if she appears even the slightest bit weak. Kimiyo's goal is to be the strongest fighter in the world, and she'll take on whatever gets in her way of achieving that goal.

» Free-Spirited: Kimiyo hates the feeling of being cornered, of being told what to do, or of not doing what she wants to. She enjoys the freedoms of life and won't settle for anything less. This can mean many things: It can mean that she won't follow the rules nor the guidelines, and will choose to do what she wants instead. Her preference is to have the world around her be flexible to her desires, and she will display annoyance to anything that goes against that. She feels as though she knows whats better for her than others do. It can mean that she is utterly honest to the point of being blunt, as saying anything less than what she truly thinks or feels is an injustice. It can mean that Kimiyo is a terribly irresponsible person, especially for something like money, as she always ends up riding herself into debt buying things she wants without reserve. She doesn't hold herself back, and doesn't want to. The more freedom she's allowed, the happier she is. That's just the person she is.

» Flirtatious: Kimiyo's ideal man has to meet some pretty high expectations, and truly earn his place in her eyes... but that is something completely apart of how coy she is with others. Given that there's no one viable to her in her eyes, she has to find some way to deal with her friskiness. If there isn't a battle to distract her, then she turns to being flirty with those around her, not exclusive to male or female, but especially focused toward females. Kimiyo is a master teaser, and she is very well-versed with the ins and outs of sex as well, so she gets a real kick out of the harassment of others. She also isn't against going on dates with those who ask her directly. It isn't too out of the ordinary for Kimiyo to molest people she finds physically attractive either. Her affections can be mistaken for being more than something that they really are though, because for Kimiyo, there's no real love behind her flirting—it's just for fun.

» A Softer Side: Despite everything, deep down Kimiyo is a woman. There's a softer, warmer side to her that is often hidden behind the veil of her tough attitude, and only her friends really get to see. She can be a compassionate and understanding type, always there to support her friends when they need her. She cares deeply with those who have earned the right to call themselves her friends, and she makes that known to them. She does still act very charismatic and powerful, but she also dispenses of the acts for a more amiable attitude. She isn't afraid to publicly show her traits of cuteness and femininity, but she's more likely to display them among friends than strangers as she feels closer to them. She also isn't an indestructible being, and thus has her vulnerabilities... but she's only willing to speak about these things with the people closest to her, such as her sisters.

APPEARANCE

Kimiyo has the body of a true woman; healthy, strong, and matured. It is the boon of the Miyake genes that such physical perfection exists in the women of the family. She is tall for a woman, boasting a height of five feet and seven inches that is more usual of a man's structure. However, for a woman, her proportions are utter perfect; a premium example of the female ideal of sexiness. Her body is slender, attractively so, and lacking any superfluous fat. In this way, she possesses an lean athlete's body. Not an inch of bulk steps out of bounds, except for where it would instead be seen as attractive; where it is most important, one could say. Kimiyo's measurements are ninety-one, fifty-eight, and eighty-eight for her bust, waist, and hips respectively, leaving her with some of the most appealing—and perhaps the most attractive—curves possible on a woman. There is no mark or scar to be discovered beneath her clothes, as flawless creamy white skin covers every breadth of her body. This holds true even upon her face, where Kimiyo's charisma and expressiveness shines brightly. Her thin lips seem like they can always easily curl up into a smile, but are truly fearsome when bent into a grimace. She has the family diminutive nose and rich-colored eyes; a set of hazel hues that glow red like rubies when Kimiyo's fired up! She has an overflowing head of black hair that falls below her waist at its full length, streaming this way and that with every movement as it catches the sunlight sleekly. She has a set of bangs that are longer in the center than sides, and so she crosses her locks in an "X" shape between her eyes. Then, finally, she has two locks just like her eldest sister falling down on either side of her face, usually over her shoulders. She is a true specimen of flourishing beauty and attraction, true to her family's genetics.

Kimiyo considers herself to be the most fashionable of her three sisters, and she often shows it with outfits she likes to create herself. Her favorite can be seen on her most days: A flashy black vest with a white line down the center where the zipper is. It only closes up so high and leaves a "V" shape in the collar; the collar, of which, is large and stands up around the neck like a classic super-villain's. Over the vest, Kimiyo has a white "admiral's" jacket with black details and golden pins over the shoulders. However, she doesn't really wear it as a jack, instead strapping it to her forearms with black bands and wearing it like a cape. For her bottoms, she wears the blue and white short skirt she gained from part of her school uniform a time ago, making it almost too easy to discover the black panties underneath. Her thighs are bear, just as her knees, but below that she wears ebon socks that rise all the way up her lower legs, and fits nicely into military-grade black boots.

BACKGROUND

» Prologue: In some of the most rare of chances in the process of birth, some one in every thousand generations of a single family line, the odd occurrence of a mutation takes place. It is a distortion of one's genetics, permanently set from the point of conception until death. Often times this transformation is small and harmless, nothing more than say... a change from a natural hair color to a rich oceanic blue. Other times, it is for the worst, perhaps incapable of being supported by the human genome, resulting in death. But perhaps the most uncommon of all, is a large-scale mutation that completely rewrites what others understand of the human body. Evolution, as one scientist has put it; mutations that allow human beings to transcend previously set limits, birthing new bloodlines of power. Each great family today has gone through this transformation, giving supernatural power to entire family trees. The Miyake family is one of such ancestries, who would be live to modern day to become known as the Family of Strength. To this day, every female along the line has achieved powers with no exception, and the most common theme among them has been inhuman strength. The males may or may not have also achieved some sort of gifts, but have always been outshone by the other side of the family.

True to Miyake, the family was composed of three houses that all were known as "Miyake." Though, the individual houses each had their own name known among other members of the family. Shuryou was the head of the three houses, as the legends of the Miyake family have always come from their shrines, and it was also the house of the Miyake's founding father. Following Shuryou was Hogosha, the shield of the Miyake family, or more literally the "Guardians." The Hogosha were created originally to protect the uppermost house of the Shuryou, and breed warriors of the utmost caliber. Over time, the tradition has softened, but the same ideals remain the same. Those of the Hogosha house are raised to protect the Miyake lineage, and consistently produce powerful warriors. Finally, the Koden branch of the family are the last house, primarily focused on maintaining the past of the Miyake family. While the Shuryou lead the way for each new generation of the family, it is up to those of the Koden to make sure that their beginnings are not forgotten along the way. Here is where the wiser, more intellectual members of the family are born; though, that is not to say that it lacks strength.

The Miyake family has been like this for ages, and a careful balance between the three houses within has been maintained with a system of checks and balances. Each part has a strength over another in some way. With that in place, the three houses has kept peace, build bonds even through the roughest of times, and remained a powerful, outstanding family in the world of the living. In modern day, every generation the three houses each offer up a child that represents their strength, the best among their youth. Those three grow up together as sisters, and as avatars. Through this, the bonds between one another grow stronger, and it also shows the world just what the Miyake family is made of. However, this generation, something incredible stirred within the bloodlines. It occurred throughout all three houses; a miracle child was born with capability beyond what the Miyake could have ever imagined. This abnormality was more than just inhuman, it was an act of god. It was like another step on the stairs of evolution: A mutation just like the one that had formed the family in the first place. It was the fact that one such child from each house had advanced at the same time that was the most shocking. With pride, Kimiyo Miyake of the Shuryou house, Naomi Miyake of the Hogosha house, and Kokoro Miyake of the Koden house were put forth as the avatars of this generation. A new era was to begin with them.

» Out of the Shadows: From the first day Kimiyo was revealed to the rest of the Shuryou house, everyone was in awe. She held within her soul such incredible power, the key to success for the Miyake. She was only seven years old, and yet to the onlookers, she looked like a hero. It was as though she were a virus, infecting the clan with vim and vigor. The announcement given by the Shuryou elders to their village was that she was to lead them into a new generation, and in order for that to happen, they needed to raise her right, and develop her incredible talent. The Shuryou were the most prominent of the three houses, and thus the most prosperous. For a project like this, they would only use only the best of the best for her. They wanted to not only refine her immense power, but mold her attitude and make sure she had the right qualities. She needed to be the avatar of the Shuryou and become a true leader. So heavy were these expectations, on a mere seven year old girl.

It's an unfortunate event to recall, but from day one, things were rough on Kimiyo Miyake. It was during birth that she lost the closest person to her, taking the life of her own mother on the way out of the womb. This was not a pleasant omen whatsoever to the Shuryou house, who were the last to receive their 'miracle' child, with Naomi being born four years before her, and Kokoro one year ahead. Neither of her sisters had produced such a traumatic event, and so witnessing this left an air of unsteadiness among the house. Only her father was left behind to raise her, and as a parental figure he was rough around the edges. He'd had the potential to become a great man within the Shuryou house, the talent to become a part of the Joining a generation ago, but it was squandered due to his poor decisions and attitude. He was overtaken by his rival Dairo, due to cockiness on his part and brutal training on the other's. After going through the hardship of his wife's death, he wanted to keep Kimiyo more than ever despite the words of the elders. Of course they wanted to give a more suitable guardian to the child that was to continue their legacy, someone like Dairo, but the matter was settled on what was right and wrong in this situation. The child belonged to her father.

Kimiyo's father was Takedou Miyake, joked about as being the failed mutation due to the circumstances of his life and his daughters. The rumors spread around because he'd shown signs of being to scale the wall most human beings were limited by, the wall that separated the mere men and women from the greats such as Sagumi Sumashuu and Shadin Yuudeshi. Yet, when the miracle children were born into the Miyake family, their limits were redefined, and they determined these new children to have the ability to scale the wall. It was as if such talent had meant to activate within Takedou, but failed and went latent, passing on to his child Kimiyo. He was not the most well-liked person in the Shuryou house as many could tell you, but at this point in his life he didn't much care. What mattered to him was that Kimiyo was his child, and he wanted to make up for his past by raising the girl to be his legacy. There was one condition however: At age seven, he was to give up the training of the girl to the people the Shuryou elders have prepared for her, and this was the final decree on the matter. Takedou had no choice but to abide, and so he would try to impart upon Kimiyo as much as he could in so little time.

Naturally, this sense of haste caused Takedou to be rough on her. There was a darkness about him that flowed into the girl as she grew up in such an environment. She was raised with both his crudeness and the sense that nobody would ever go easy on her. She developed the idea that so much would be expected of her, before she was even told about it. She was quite tough, and she got that toughness from her father. After all, her mother died before she was even conscious of the fact, yet could she really experience any degree of sadness about it? She didn't attribute any feeling to it, and she certainly didn't have the time to dwell on it with her father rushing through lessons with her. Takedou rarely talked about his wife, as the thoughts brought him nothing but pain, so why even ponder over it? There were more important things in the now, and to be determined. Takedou would do his best to teach Kimiyo everything he had failed to learn the first time around, if not with a little bit of his own spin on it.

Kimiyo of course was a rough stone by age seven, hiding a diamond underneath the crude exterior due to her immense talent and the core concepts taught to her by Takedou. The elders were not very pleased at all with the man's own take on the house's ideals, and considered them to have poisoned the mind of the youth. Funnily enough, Takedou had fully expected to be turned on, and hadn't held back. He'd given to Kimiyo everything he'd wanted to give her, before exiling himself from the house. He was sure that if he was to go through due process, he'd meet the same fate irregardless. Leaving the rest of Kimiyo's childhood in the hands of the Miyake, he left, never to be seen again. Kimiyo would never forget the influence of her father even as she was put into more capable hands; she needed it, and she was wiser for it. That being said, she would accept her new future without a mother or a father in stride. She knew she had to be strong for the Shuryou, and so she released no tears.

The amount of maturity Kimiyo displayed when she was taking classes from her masters was extraordinary. The mentors were hired for their ability to teach even the most difficult of adolescents the important lessons of life, yet they remarked that teaching Kimiyo, a seven-year-old, was more like teaching a young adult. She focused on their words and retained them well, and it rarely ever took more than one or two attempts for her to get the hang of a certain thing. She, of course, complained that a lot of these things they were teaching her were boring as hell, but still remained diligent as an honor student when it was time for class. The elders could not really tell if this was Takedou's doing or just the natural genes of the Shuryou house, though they were easily able to convince themselves that the girl's father had nothing to do with anything good; such was the nature of the black sheep. The only class which Kimiyo expressed genuine excitement with was her class with Takedou's rival, Dairo Miyake. The reason? He taught her martial arts, and spoke of the great techniques the Miyake were said to have been able to use long ago, but were greatly limited in these days due to lack of talent.

Kimiyo spent as much time as she could under Dairo's tutelage, arriving early and staying extra long afterwards. Dairo explained that this came from the thrill of battle the girl seemed to have, like a rush of adrenaline in her veins due to the violent actions in a fight. She may have been dozens of years younger than Dairo, but the two were already on par with each other as far as martial arts went. This both worried the elders, and pleased them. It would be foolish to not be fearful of the possibility that Takedou made her to be like this, and that the battle rush could prove dangerous to the family and their reputation... but the reports of how much progress she was making in so little time was utterly titillating, exactly what they wanted to see and more. Dairo figured that in a few years, Kimiyo would not only be able to outclass him completely in fights, but that he might be able to unlock the ancient Miyake techniques through her. With that, Dairo volunteered to be the chaperon to Kimiyo when she was sent to the House of Joining, and his proposal was accepted.

» The Big Three: News was spreading around about a calamity in the Hogosha house, and the arrival of the great Sagumi Sumashuu in order to handle it. Even Kimiyo had heard about it, and that it had concerned the miracle child from over there as well. She noted this, but the situation had been resolved so quickly that at the time, it truly seemed insignificant to those who did not witness it. More importantly, it was this event which caused for the council to be called to the Miyake Summit, and that council's decision led to the Joining of the Houses to take place now. Kimiyo was to finally meet with the other miracle children and take the next step in her journey of life. She was enthusiastic to hear that Dairo would be joining her as her primary mentor, but confused when another Shuryou house representative was tagging along with them. Shee called herself Yoshi, and stated that due to what had occurred as a result of the council, that she would be taking the place of the Hogosha's representative. Of course this confused Kimiyo without the context to back it up, and she was still just a child, but she went along with it.

And they left as trio, heading away from the Shuryou house domain and out to the House of Joining. The household was incredible, a mansion four stories high, with a beautiful landscape to surround it. Compared to her old one-story house, this was quite a jarring change of scenery for her. Not to mention the thing that caught her eyes first; the big open fields surrounding the estate, where she could see herself enjoying fights without reserve, as nothing was in the way to be broken or harmed. She was not the first to arrive: Naomi Miyake, the eldest of the trio of miracle children was found sleeping the day away on one of the gigantic King-sized beds of the house. She had oddly-shaded blue hair and the softest looking face she'd ever seen. Given that she didn't have a chaperon with her, she must have been the Hogosha child. Also beating her to the household was Kokoro Miyake, who looked like a very tidy and very formal individual. She dressed regally and kept her hair up in a bun. Most interestingly, she wielded a staff, and never seemed to part with it even when the situation didn't call for it. She also had a pet cat, though Kimiyo wasn't that interested in it as Naomi would turn out to be. Beside Kokoro was a woman by the name of Junko, who wore a matching outfit and hairstyle to her student's.

The first meeting between the three was awkward at first, for they had never seen each other before and lived under quite diverse circumstances due to the different cultures of each house. Despite being so young, it was Kimiyo who spoke out first, taking the lead as she was bred to do. The vigor with which she expressed herself had a way with melting the tension away and inspiring the room; her charisma was incredible. Naomi was awed by it, and her natural amiability took over. Kokoro simply accepted it with a smile, reserved and refined. This would be the dynamic to start out with, the three traditions of the Miyake fitting together like puzzle pieces. Once they got along well and settled in, it was up to the adults to proceed with their training. Junko and Dairo were both considered prodigies of their own time, and had grown up together in this very house as part of the previous generation's joining. Yoshi had not had the honor, but still was a very competent female in the family, and sister to Dairo.

It couldn't be helped; it was not long before Kimiyo challenged her two rivals to combat, sensing their great power and wanting to test it. It was strange; things probably shouldn't have started off this way, but nearly everyone wanted to the see what the three could do now that they were all together, even the adults. Kokoro was the one who tried to act all high and mighty, acting condescending to Kimiyo who wanted to fight people she'd just met, so it was her that the Shuryou targeted first. Kimiyo read right through Kokoro, managing to goad her straight into a fight despite her initial resistance. At first, the woman's skill with her staff was a little much for Kimiyo to handle, but in no time at all the tables were being reversed by her bare hands. This was expected and natural, since Kokoro had been trained only to be able to handle herself in dire circumstances, focusing mostly on supportive skills and her studies. The fight was stopped early and considered a victory for Kimiyo, as Junko did not want things to get too hostile. That was when Kimiyo, feeling the excitement of the battle still rushing through her, challenged Naomi... The battle ended quickly in Naomi's favor, her ungodly power on a whole other level. The result surprised all of them except for Yoshi.

After introductions, attentions turned to training. They'd been raised right with the ideals of their respective houses drilled into them, but now was the time to train them for combat. Naomi was often absent from the lessons, spending so much time sleeping that it was unnatural, but so was her strength, so it was often overlooked. The other two were learning at a much faster pace than her, and they also possessed more natural talent than her, but when it came to raw power, she couldn't be matched. It was hard to teach all three at the same time as Naomi was always lagging behind; the choice was to either continue on anyways or have Kimiyo and Kokoro wait for Naomi to catch up, and neither was an appetizing option. So, the mentors instead chose a third option, deciding to hold back and simply watch for a while to see how the three behaved together. They needed to observe how they all got together with one another before coming up with a good plan. It was not a problem for the three sisters, especially considering they were still considered children. After all, there was more than enough to do around this mansion. At first, the three decided to split up; Kokoro headed toward the library to read what this place had to offer, while Naomi conceded to her soft bed. Kimiyo, the more active one, decided to go outside and play around on the jungle gym. The three did the activities they were all most comfortable with.

However, the absence of their mentors began to worry them, as they were taking longer than expected. They did not return during the night, and no word had arrived of their whereabouts. Kimiyo, Naomi, and Kokoro were isolated here in this mansion without a clue of what was going on outside of it. Decidedly, Kimiyo brought the three of them together for a meeting on what to do. It started out simply, for the only goal was to figure what was going on, but it began to devolve as their conflicting views mixed with each other. Kokoro was more than content simply waiting as they were told to do, and believed this to be a test of patience. Kimiyo was of the opposite mind, thinking that nothing was going to happen until they did something about it. Naomi merely wanted the arguments to stop, and tried her best to dissolve the situation, to no avail. Kimiyo's energy was overwhelming, and Kokoro was too cold and aloof. Naomi was practically a non-participant, and could not get a word in edgewise. It was in frustration that the meeting ended, with Kokoro returning to the library to read more, while Kimiyo headed to the gates to try and find what she presumed they were supposed to be looking for. Naomi was left behind and... she decided to go to sleep.

Several days passed, and still nothing had changed. Kokoro never came out of the library, and Naomi was only lazing around on the bed. Kimiyo was really the only one who attempted to do anything about the situation, perhaps leave the estate to go find them. The problem with that plan was that as she tried to leave, she ran into a barrier of Chi that was locking them in. Kimiyo almost immediately determined that this was set up by their mentors, and that this was a test for them to solve. The first thing she tried was to just try and break it, as she knew that her strength might allow her to trump the barrier due to the difference in power. Unfortunately, it was to no avail, and Kimiyo's effort proved to have no effect on it. Eventually the matter was discussed between the three. Kimiyo believed it was a wall they had to break down, while Kokoro figured it was only something to keep them safe. Naomi finally spoke up, and found her youngest sister very open to her, allowing her easy conversation. Even so, Naomi couldn't quite get over her shyness until Kimiyo commented on it. She told her older sister that she thought they really shouldn't be fighting, but instead get along with each other, for they were sisters after all. She insisted that Naomi be as open with her as she was being just now; to not be afraid. Before the conversation ended, Kimiyo asked for Naomi's help in trying to break through the wall. Eager to assist her sister, she coordinated with her to strike the barrier at the same time. With a deafening crack, they hit it, but still failed to break through. Kimiyo defeatedly admitted that it would likely take all three of them to break through.

Te day after, Kokoro was still in the library as always, and Kimiyo decided to go pay her a visit to finally get this test resolved. If this was a matter of teamwork, then as a Shuryou, she would get them to join hands as she was supposed to. What was surprising was that she found Naomi already trying to forge bonds with her. The two sounded at odds, and Kimiyo decided to eavesdrop and wait for the right time to intervene. As it looked like Naomi was trying her hardest to befriend her sister, but Kokoro was merely being aloof and condescending about it, Kimiyo finally interrupted the scene. She pointed out that the whole point of the house of joining was to bring the the three houses together even during times of adversity. Kokoro was more than a little harsh stating that she would treat this as nothing more than a job, and that she didn't have to enjoy it in order to fulfill it. Again, the two were fighting just like before, as if Naomi was not even there. It went on and on, until finally something snapped in Naomi's head, and she did something none of them expected. Despite the familial blood running through them, Naomi jumped at Kokoro and kissed her, showing her a display of affection like she'd never known before.

And much to everybody's surprise, that was the key. After a heated ero moment, the conversation proceeded for the better.

Kimiyo discovered just how lonely of a person Kokoro had been growing up, and understood her aversion to the joining. However, she tried her best to make her realize that bonds were incredible things; a life without them was not a life at all. She proposed that they create a bond here and now, between the three of them. It was hard to just accept something like that for someone like Kokoro, but she tentatively reached out and joined Kimiyo. Naomi also accepted easily, forming the trio. The Big Three, they would be called... but for now, it was just a bond formed between sisters. Through it, Kimiyo had a team to lead forward and support her. Through it, Kokoro could discover the power of bonds and break out of her shell. Through it, Naomi had a goal, to protect her sisters as her mother had told her. And together, they would be unstoppable!

» The Pilgrimage: The very next day, the Big Three went outside—now as a team—to break down that barrier. Just Kimiyo alone couldn't do anything to it, and still the wall held when Naomi joined. But when Kokoro added her strength to the attack, the barrier would finally shatter like a mirror, revealing their mentors standing right behind it with rather pleasant expressions on their face. They'd watched the entire scenario, even in its more precarious moments. Of course it'd been a test, but not a test like any of the three sisters had predicted. It was a test to see if they could get along with one another and work together. They'd passed, and judged that now was the time to continue their training. They had a new process prepared for them, where not only they would teach, but the students would teach each other. Through the bond that had been formed, it was easier to convey lessons so that they would stick. Naomi still was a sleepy character, but when it was her sisters who helped her out, she was able to pay attention better and keep up with the instruction. Kokoro also learned to rely on others, where before she'd have kept to herself. Training was able to proceed at a very fast pace now that the joining had succeeded, and the Miyake family was beginning to create a rather terrifying team...

For years the lessons continued, up to a point where the Big Three were so capable that they had exceeded anything that the Miyake family could ever teach them. At this point and from then on, they would have to learn from each other in order to progress. The mentors were to return to their respective houses and their old duties, but not before departing one final task, and the most important of them all. It was time for the Miyake sisters to begin their Pilgrimage, a journey that all participants of the joining had to partake in. Together, they were to leave the lands of the Miyake and go out into the world to experience what life had to offer. They were to grow stronger, become wiser, and fulfill their youth while it remained. They would also need to find love, so that their bloodline could continue, as was one of the major goals of the Pilgrimage. Furthermore, this showed the outside world what the Miyake were capable of, and there was much to show for this generation. They would be able to contact their families back home, but were not to return until the rite was completed.

And so, with a decent amount of money, and whatever belongings they could carry, the Big Three were sent on their way out of the mansion, to find their way forward, but never forgetting the path back, and most of all... sticking together as family should.

POWERS

» Natural Abilities: These abilities are attributes and proficiencies that Kimiyo can perform without using any of her Chi. Even when her energy is locked away or empty, these abilities persist, as if laws of her nature.
  • A Fearsome Strength — While Naomi holds the title for perhaps the most potent strength of all the Miyake and perhaps any other living entity in the world without the use of any powers, her sisters are all blessed with incredible strength. Kimiyo is no exception to her genetics; she can toss trucks around and smash buildings down with just a little bit of rough-housing, putting body-builders around the world the shame in contests of strength. This is without any Chi to back her muscles up, and she can easily match foes with just her bare hand-to-hand combat. Her strikes are able to cause destruction and damage on the same scale special abilities like Cero and Chaos Blasts can. This isn't just something one can ward off with a decent reiatsu, maintaining relevance in a fight even among powerful foes. Once again, Kimiyo's strength doesn't rival Naomi's godlike level, but it is good enough to match those of her level.

  • Swift Speed — Kimiyo is again unable to rival Naomi in a foot race without using any Chi, as the level of natural ability that the woman possesses is an unscaleable wall. However, she still has an enhanced level that easily trumps any normal athlete's, causing her every movement to be an unreadable blur if she pushes herself. Kimiyo's speed nicely complements her strength, and her body is well trained to handle fast-paced combat with opponents of a dangerous caliber. This is her natural speed even out of combat.

  • Tough Skin — Once again comparing to Naomi, Kimiyo can't match her in terms of endurance, but she has decent enough defenses that require no Chi to power them. Her skin is like a layer of tank armor, powerful enough to ward off quite a lot of attacks that strike her, allowing her to survive longer without too much effort on her part. That being said, it doesn't take much for people these days to break through something like tank armor with a good hit. This is only the bare minimum defense for fighters on her level, needed so that she isn't taken out instantly during a fight.

» Chi Abilities:

  • The Power of Chi! — Stated above, Kimiyo definitely possesses physical prowess on a powerful level, able to fight great foes without using any energy whatsoever... but if Chi is added into the mix? Yes, Kimiyo can amplify her strength, speed, and endurance with her Chi to better match physical-based combatants on her level, closer to what is expected of her. With Chi, Kimiyo can come close to Naomi Miyake's abilities, producing a strength that causes shockwaves with every movement, sending the Earth quaking in fear. She can strike like lightning, her reflexes and speed faster than a bullet in flight. She can shrug off a good deal of attacks as well, standing up still even after a beating on. The important thing to note that's different from Naomi's physical ability though is that Kimiyo is far more aggressively situated—she puts a lot less focus on defense and more on the act of dishing out damage. Naomi will take attacks head on without a sweat, but Kimiyo can't really do that. She has to make a better effort of using skill and maneuvering in her fights.

  • Yin Surge — This is the Chi user's version of a Cero or Chaos blast, the standard energy attack. Kimiyo is not so great with the Yang side of Chi, but she excels in the Yin surge; the darker and more destructive side of Chi. At its most basic form, Kimiyo charges Chi into a sphere within the palm of her hand, and then it can do a variety of different things from there. As is, she can just smash it into people at melee range while its in her hand, releasing the energy point blank to blast them away. Or, it can be thrown to achieve the same effect at a range of up to two kilometers, but with less control. Upon being released, Naomi's overpowered version of the Yin Surge will cause an astronomical explosion that is just as wide as the range it can travel, detonating like an atomic bomb of dark Chi. The destructive power is not as great, however, moreso about the range of destruction than quality. A third variant of the Yin surge causes the sphere to transform into a disc a meter wide, and then is thrown like a frisbee. It doesn't explode in this form, but it has superb cutting power and can be manipulated freely by Kimiyo for three posts before dissipating.

  • Yin - Missile Spree — This is an advanced Yin Surge technique created by Kimiyo, in which Chi is expelled not just from the hands, but from any surface on the woman's body. In the shape of military missiles, one foot in length and four inches thick, black Chi will coagulate in up to fifty places on Kimiyo's body, though often as little as a dozen of them. After a short delay of a few seconds, the missiles are launched in random directions, and then lock onto any number of targets designated by her a few seconds later. That's when they accelerate to high speeds, propelling themselves with a crimson energy that trails behind them as they home in on their respective targets. They are not magic missiles, so they will not move around obstructions in their way, though they are immune to most "flare" type abilities that try to jam the aiming of the projectiles. Upon impact, the missile predictably explodes, releasing fire and energy in all directions for twenty-five meters in an instant.

  • Heat Vision — By channeling Chi aggressively through her eyes, Kimiyo can be like Superman or Cyclops and unleash rays of crimson energy from her pupils that cut like plasma. There is a delay before firing in which her eyes glow brightly, but to make up for it, the beams travel incredibly fast and make it difficult to dodge. Energy-based defenses are effective against this, but everything else tends to get sliced like butter by a hot knife, leaving flames behind along the way. The cutting power of the lasers depends on how focused the beam is—the finer it is, the sharper it is. It can be widened to cover a wider area and spread more flames with the extreme heat, but at a loss of cutting power. On a milder level, Kimiyo can warm things up with her heat vision as though they were in microwave, though the beam will be mostly invisible if its that weak.

  • Elemental Fist — Chi is a very versatile energy that can be changed into hundreds of different forms, often in that of the natural elements. Fire, ice, lightning and wind are the four Kimiyo has delved into, being the four most offensive elements to take on. She is no master in any of them, nor truly adept with them either, but she does have the capability to use them in one way. She is able to channel Chi through her arms and legs and coat them in one of these four elements to empower her strikes against foes. Each element has a different effect of course, and they are all powerful in their own right:
    - Fire: The fire element is the most basic of the four, an element of pure destruction. Fire causes her attacks to explode violently into flames on contact, giving them an extra kick wherever they hit. The heat coming from the attacks causes burns wherever the flames can lick, and start to melt away at the surface if it stays in contact with Kimiyo for too long.
    - Ice: A seemingly calm element on the opposite side of the spectrum from fire, the element of ice has nearly as good a capability to harm as fire. When channeled through Kimiyo's limbs, it causes her limbs to feel heavier when they hit a target, increasing the impact weight. More than that, substances fall rapidly in temperature when in contact with her, starting to freeze up and develop frost around the surfaces. After a certain point, the substance can be frozen to a point where it will shatter with a light strike, completely breaking it. This works exceptionally well on armors and other durable materials.
    - Lightning: Lightning is a strange element, which is not quite as destructive as the others, but deals damage in its own special way nonetheless. Physically, the electricity that surrounds her limbs does not accomplish much; however, beneath the surface the shock builds up within for each successful strike made against a person. It starts to cause erratic bouts of paralysis, the failing of organs, and the disruption of powers. Not much effect can be seen at first, but after three or four direct hits? The foe will begin to falter as their powers short out and they have trouble continuing the fight. Also, lightning is the most painful to feel of the four elements.
    - Wind: Wind is the most subtle of the four elements, as it is very difficult to tell when Kimiyo has enhanced her limbs with it. There will be a slight disturbance in the wind and that is all, making this ability practically invisible in most cases. What the element does is sharpen Kimiyo's limbs, changing any blunt attacks into piercing ones. Instead of smashing, Kimiyo will cut or perforate. She can even cut through other abilities using this enhancement.

  • Free Flight — Through the use of Chi, Kimiyo can achieve flight with ease, at a level where it is second-nature to her. The process is done by wrapping oneself in Chi and then carrying herself up through the air with manipulation of the energy. She can perform erratic maneuvers that don't require leverage or her body to move, making for some confusing patterns. However, momentum does affect how well she can control herself in mid-air, which means she cannot simply stop on a dime or immediately reverse her trajectory if she's going too fast. She can fly as fast as she can move physically on the ground, but has slightly more control over her movement. Theoretically, she doesn't have to be in the air to be able to control her movement with Chi, so this trick can be used on the ground as well.

» Epic Powers: Within Kimiyo's arsenal of powers are some of the Miyake's most powerful techniques, considered to be forbidden and for good reason. They are incredibly power, but are so over-the-top and ridiculous that they are not feasible under normal circumstances. Very rarely are these abilities seen in use by Kimiyo because of how difficult it is to use them.

  • Suicide Bomb — While not entirely accurate, Suicide Bomb is a fairly self-destructive ability with an incredible resulting explosion, predictably. Kimiyo will begin to glow red for a few seconds before suddenly releasing searing energy at a level equivalent to a nuclear warhead, incinerating most things at close range and causing calamitous damage even past that. The kill zone of this explosion, where the heat rises to fifteen million degrees, enough to practically erase the existence of anything caught by it. Though, the range of this is only ten meters in diameter. Past that, the deadly energy travels up to five hundred meters in every direction at its strongest, though the heat falls off drastically the further from the epicenter it is, doing massive damage to foes, but nothing on the level of instant disintegration. The benefit of this ability is that for the damage it causes, it is actually rather efficient in Chi use, using Kimiyo's own life force as a payment instead. One use of this ability is enough to cripple her even at full strength, putting her in a state where she cannot fight back.

  • Miniature Black Hole — Now, having the ability to summon a black hole from thin air does seem like an incredibly dangerous ability, but the size of this black hole is soooooo small that its pull is actually very short range, and its pull is manageable under Kimiyo's control. Once she summons this black hole, her movement is halved and one of her arms will be restricted as she maintains the force of nature. At any time, she can open a gap up in her control, allowing the miniature black hole to begin pulling matter towards its center with its incredible gravity. Whatever is caught by the black hole will be compressed tightly into the singularity in nearly an instant, and erase it from existence. However... the black hole will dissipate after only swallowing an adult human's worth of mass. More than that, summoning this black hole requires a ridiculous amount of energy initially, and drains from her at an equally great rate. Due to this, it's hard to justify using this ability in combat. Still, it's something she can do.

  • Asteroid Call — Kimiyo has the ability to reach out into space with her force of will, calling towards an asteroid in the asteroid belt and pulling it towards their location on Earth. It takes a great deal of concentration and energy to use this ability, and at first it will look like nothing will have happened. The obvious problem with this ability is the distance from the asteroid belt, causing it to take some time before the space rock even reaches Earth. It takes three to four posts before this technique actually does anything, but the investment will eventually pay off, as from the sky a meteor will begin to fall toward where Kimiyo had originally initiated the technique. The meteor may or may not be shattered mid flight, causing it to rain a meteor shower; or, it can come down whole for one major impact. Kimiyo has the ability to summon the larger asteroids from the asteroid belt, but is forbidden from it for obvious reasons. If the asteroid is too large, then it might cause doomsday for Earth, and she needs Earth to live... so she does not go overboard with this technique. The cost of this ability in Chi is also incredibly draining, considering how she alters the course of nature with it.

There is a variant of this ability dubbed "Lava Call" which takes the same concept as above, but applies it to the magma in Earth's mantle. In the same way, she'll use her force of will to summon a great geyser of lava up through the crust of the Earth, but it will take some time for it to burst through all the obstruction. So, three posts after Kimiyo has used this ability, a spout of lava one-hundred meters in diameter will rise miles up into the air, causing no small amount of damage to the surrounding area and melting most anything caught in the main geyser. The center of the geyser will spawn from where Kimiyo was when she initially used this ability.

  • Weather Girl — A common theme among the forbidden abilities of the Miyake are those that change the flow of nature. The manipulation of the weather in the immediate area is one of those abilities. At will, she can change a sunny day to a rainy one, a humid one to a dry one, a blizzard to a hellscape, a thunderstorm to a snow day, and so on and so on. This is one of her epic powers not because it's costly or overly dangerous, but simply because it's very dramatic in her fights. Kimiyo uses this ability unconsciously when she gets emotional, changing the weather like colors of a mood ring. This ability follows Kimiyo, changing the weather where she is for several miles around her. Changing the weather does not allow her to specifically direct it in combat; she cannot attack enemies with lightning strikes or bring things to such a low degree that it freezes them. It's more atmospheric than anything.

  • Around The World — Known to some as a yo-yo trick, but to Kimiyo, it's one of her signature moves. It is to be taken literally, as the technique is done by jumping forwards and upwards with the whole of her strength, launching herself at ridiculous speeds into the atmosphere. The lessened gravity is what allows her to soar through the air for such a long time, as she begins to revolve around the globe. The technique is completed by making a full revolution and ending up where she originally began: She will enter back into the atmosphere as a ball of fire, coming at her target with insane velocity. At this point, Kimiyo's body has become a targeted nuke, and will cause a colossal explosion and crater at the impact point as she attempts to strike her foe with her leg or fist. Needless to say, with all that momentum behind her, this attack will have more power behind it than any of her other physical moves. The problem with this is of course that her body burns up a little while travelling at such speeds through the atmosphere.

  • The Destruction of Pluto — Kimiyo has the incredible power of being able to destroy Pluto through sheer force of will. That's right, a technique devoted to causing Pluto—and only Pluto—to blow up irregardless of distance. This ability requires an exhausting amount of energy and really can't be translated to use on any other planet, but you never know when it could come in handy. Besides, it's Pluto, so who really cares anyways? It's not even a real planet anymore.

» Hametsu Taihou: Say hello to Kimiyo's signature power, the Hametsu Taihou! These massive hand cannons are one-handed weapons meant to be dual-wielded by Kimiyo, and their weight bears no struggle to her impressive strength. These weapons are identical to each other in every way except for that one is intended for the left hand and the other is for the right. Each have a three inch wide barrel that is a great sixteen inches long, clearly meant to produce some terrifying firepower, but this barrel is encased within an even larger ebon hull that is six inches tall, four inches wide, and nearly just as long as the barrel itself. The hull is octagonal in shape and has an opening for where the end of the barrel poked out by just a thumb's width. It is complete solid inside, adding extra weight to the weapon and thus reducing recoil in exchange for making it a little more unwieldy. The handle to these guns is similar to those of sawed-off shotguns, just long enough to grip comfortably with one hand and angled back at a wide one-hundred and thirty five degrees from the barrel of the weapon. Both of these parts are connected to each other by an ornately-designed silver jacket that covers the back and sides of the handle and halfway across the top of the hull of the main barrel. The weapon is semi-automatic, and has a hammer at the apex of the weapon that triggers everytime the weapon fires, but there appears to be no conventional way to reload these weapons. When fired, the Hametsu Taihou give off a crimson muzzle flash (as opposed to a typical yellow) and no smoke, as they are weapons that utilize packets of Chi as ammunition. The sound of the guns being fired produces a very loud and satisfying bang, as well as a low thrum that can be felt by those nearby. They weigh over a ton each and are useful as blunt melee weapons, though are much more effective when being fired.

An image of the weapons can be seen HERE.

  • Bang! — The Hametsu Taihou are mediums to Kimiyo's Chi, but more than that, they are enhancers. Through them, she is able to unleash devastating attacks by exploiting small packets of energy as much as possible, efficiently squeezing every last bit of power from them as is possible. These weapons are not normally on her person, but she is able to summon them and unsummon them at will to attack her foes with. Upon being summoned, the shotguns are filled with six rounds of energy each, which act as ammunition for the various different abilities that can be fired off from the weapons. Once the weapons are exhausted of their ammunition, they become useless, and can not fire any longer. To solve this, Kimiyo discards the weapons and summons herself a new set of shotguns fully loaded with ammunition, wasting no time with long reload times. The primary firing method for the Hametsu Taihou is cheekily titled "Bang!" and uses up one round of ammunition every shot. A red golf-ball sized projectile is shot out of the barrel in a straight line at the speed of a bullet. Upon striking a solid object it will explode, unleashing an energetic orange-red light in all directions for fifteen meters and scorching all objects within reach with sun-like temperatures for just a split-second. This is not enough to disintegrate everything instantly, but it will cause devastating damage to anything on the surface level and can easily be fatal. Anything within a foot of the blast zone's origin is caught in the dead zone, and will be immediately vaporized by the high concentration of energy there. This attack is not very effective against defenses, but does insane amounts of damage against vulnerable targets.

  • Sukyattā Shotto — The Hametsu Taihou! are not so far from looking like sawed-off shotguns, and they can share the same functionality as well. These shots cost only one shell but they are very clearly more powerful than the standard Bang! that Kimiyo can fire off. To be truthful, Bang! is an inefficient attack, and wastes a lot of the power that is stored in the clips of these weapons. Sukyatta Shotto is a true display of the power that is jam-packed into the small little rounds of ammunition. The moment the muzzle flashes and the shell leaves the barrel of the cannon, all of the Chi splits up into several shards of destructive energy and sprays the area in a cone in front of the gun with these projectiles. These shards are small, but compact; when a single bit strikes any surface, it detonates into an explosion that rips the target apart with extreme kinetics and heat. Each pellet can cause this kind of damage for up to twenty-five meters in any direction, but with one fairly large limit. Let there be no mistake—a legendary warrior can be ended by a single explosion caused by a single pellet, just like that, even if it does not hit directly. The heat created is akin to the inside of a supergiant star, and the forces can rip apart a neutron star; that's the level this attack is on. However, the pellets do not really have piercing power, and defenses are very good at containing the explosion albeit not surviving them. To be exact, this level of destruction is only caused to the first thing hit, whether it be a person or a barrier or some other object. If a person erects a shield in front of them to block the shot, then the blast will utterly destroy the barrier even if it is of a mythical quality, failing to maintain itself... but the explosion will be mostly stopped, leaving the person behin the shield safe. This can be done with throwaway shields as well, and achieve the same feat, due to the nature of the explosions and lack of piercing power. It's not the quality, but quantity of obstructions used to block Kimiyo's Sukyattā Shotto. To reiterate one more time, Sukyattā Shotto does unfathomable amounts of damage, but only against the first things hit. That being said, this is a shotgun blast, and there are multiple pellets. If the obstruction is incredibly weak, say like, little more than that of a brick wall or oak tree, then few pellets will be expended on it before it is destroyed already, allowing the rest of the shards to continue on.

Sukyattā Shotto can be set to air burst, which causes the shards to automatically explode in random intervals as they travel through the air, creating a series of lines of fire and death in a cone from the weapon, making it so that they do not necessarily need to hit to cause damage for targets that fly through the air or are fast. Each shard will air burst about every twenty-five meters, creating an explosion twenty-five meters in diameter for the perfect size. The intervals are give-or-take a few meters however, so that they are more erratic and end up blanketing more area than if they were synchronized. When these bullets strike something, they let out one last explosion before dissipating, and it follows the same rules as above when it comes to piercing power. What's special about these explosions however is that the fire hangs in the air for several moments after the initial detonation, creating a sort of area denial for a short time.

  • Desutoroiyā Supaiku — Desutoroiyā Supaiku is the inverse to the Sukyattā Shotto; while the latter blankets an area with fire and death, the former focuses all of that destruction into a single, accurate shot. Similarly though, it is unrivaled in its task. The Desutoroiyā Supaiku is a single spike of condensed Chi, supreme in piercing any defenses to get to its target. It is a foot and a half long and an inch at its thickest in the center, while the tips are sharp as a pin point. The whole thing is glowing a hostile crimson red, and a trail of energy tails behind it while the projectile is travelling. This projectile doesn't explode, but the damage it can cause when it hits its target is just as potent as all the power in Sukyattā Shotto combined. It works as such; Kimiyo focuses on the target she wishes to strike, and the spike she fires from her weapon will pierce pretty much any defense on the way there, only stopping when it is firmly embedded in the focus of Kimiyo's aggression (otherwise it would just continue on straight through them, only leaving a hole). The real damage is not done by the piercing power itself, but stored within the projectiles core to be released once it reaches its target. That way, energy isn't wasted on everything in the way. Upon contact with the foe, the spike unleashes a surge of energy equal to the power of a nuclear warhead... all in a tight area near where the spike struck, only up to a foot in every direction. The surge is invisible, and its damage is not apparent on the surface, but it renders that area as nothing more than dead matter. The area effected will become useless matter, unable to fulfill any purpose, act in any way, or be used as fuel. It cannot produce or channel energy through it, and it will take massive amounts of power to remove. While it remains, it will weight one-thousand times more than it originally had, and will ooze black liquid from its pores at an alarming rate. The matter remains, prevent most forms of regeneration until it is extracted, which is made difficult by the extra mass added and resistance to energy. Overall, with the absurd piercing power of this shot, and the ability to turn matter into dead matter, trying to defend against this projectile is a very poor choice. Instead, the optimal strategy against this attack is to evade it entirely, as its trajectory is straight and straight only, unable to be redirected by Kimiyo.

  • Herufaiyā Morutaru — This is Kimiyo's long range suppression attack with the Hametsu Taihou! Rather than firing straight at the target, the guns are pointed high up in the air, blasting off large crimson missiles that travel far far up. The muzzle flash of this attack is so bright, it can turn night into day, and make day look dark compared to the light coming from the barrel. Additionally, the sound is loud and resembling that of rumbling thunder when heard from a distance. Once the missiles reach the apex of their arc, they split into dozens of smaller missiles and rain down on the ground like artillery, blanketing a massively wide area with explosions that are fifty meters in radius each. Overall, this attack can cover an area of a half a kilometer in diameter, turning it into a living hell as infernos are spawned from bombs. They come down hard due to the assistance of gravity, causing them to be even deadlier than the individual pellets of Sukyattā Shotto when they hit directly. Due to the flames that are spread through the area carpeted by Herufaiyā Morutaru, it becomes an inhospitable area to stand in for five posts, as the fire can burn through even metal over time, and no oxygen can survive in the air there for long.

  • Bakyūmu Burasuto — One of Kimiyo understated but very useful abilities is the Bakyūmu Burasuto, as it can use whatever the hell it wants as ammunition. Instead of wasting a shell of Chi, Kimiyo can expend minimal energy to cause a powerful suction in front of her weapon's barrel. There is a very clear and audible giveaway before this technique is used, several seconds before it is used; wind will begin to cycle around like a miniature tornado (five meters far and ten meters wide) in front of the weapon, and it can be heard just as well. Then, after three to four seconds, the everything caught within that tornado will be immediately compressed into energy within the barrel of the Hametsu Taihou! While in the barrel, the contents will become suppressed and unable to do anything, but Kimiyo can only hold them in there for up to a post's length, before she is forced to fire it out. As she does, the contents are coated in a layer of chi that continues to suppress them for a little while longer as they leave the barrel, so that they are forced to go along for the ride. The aura of chi also empowers the "projectile" so that irregardless of its material, it will cause great damage to whatever it hits, but only equal to that of Kimiyo's Bang! attack. On average, characters caught by the Bakyūmu Burasuto will not be able to break out until they crash into something or travel at least one-hundred and fifty meters away, whichever comes first. There is a cooldown to this ability to prevent it from being spammed as well, separate between each weapon; it lasts three posts.

  • Deddai — Deddai is a special precision attack one step above the standard Desutoroiyā Supaiku, meant specifically for striking a target irregardless of guard or evasion; an opponent focused on either form of defense will fall to this attack. It gives off a huge tell, as everyone in an area of five-hundred meters (the range of this attack) will hear a sharp inhale before everything goes silent. It will be as if everybody had suddenly gone completely deaf, and they'll be able to feel a strong energy pressure originating from Kimiyo. This lasts a long time, for in this interval, she is focusing on the target she wishes to hit with all her might, building a tunnel of Chi between the muzzle of her gun and the bullseye. This tunnel accelerates the speed of the projectile to a level that is practically impossible to dodge, requiring Grand Master level speed or racial movement technique in order to to be able to dodge. It also specifically weakens all obstructions that are below that of a power on a Grand Master's level, allowing the bullet to easily pass through them as though they weren't even there. After this period of time, which lasts one full post, Kimiyo fires a likely inescapable attack, and the victim will find a Desutoroiyā Supaiku embedded straight into them before they could even realize it. The problems with this attack are obvious, though, the first being that a tunnel cannot be created to the target if Kimiyo doesn't see where to connect it. Additionally, the charge up time is so long that she can be preemptively struck, interrupting the attack and forcing her to waste half of the energy used by it without firing.

FORMS

» Spirit Surge: Spirit Surge is a strange form, in that it is temporary, and short-lived. It is exactly as its name suggests, bringing Kimiyo's spirit to a peak for a single post, enhancing her abilities and allowing her to fight recklessly for as long as its up, before then dying down. It is activated easily, just like any normal ability, causing a surge of red energy to build up around her and trail her movements for the duration, occasionally giving off wayward sparks of Chi for effect. The primary ability of this form is its incredible regenerative factor, surpassing even the Hollow's brand of healing. This Instantaneous Regeneration is not truly instantaneous, but it comes close, restoring any wound made to her body to perfect condition, whether it was caused before or during the Spirit Surge. Entire limbs can be regrown, and internal organs are not exempt. Also, during the Spirit Surge, any impurities such as poisons or foreign objects within Kimiyo's body will be dissolved if possible, or otherwise purged as renewed cells take their place. The red sparks will intensify in the areas where healing is being done, and appear less often when no healing is being done. In a way, Spirit Surge makes Kimiyo invincible for a short time, allowing her to fight without reserve as she so loves to, but for a limited time only. This form also can't be used without end, as Kimiyo's limit stops at three uses of it. She can chain them together one after another or spread the periods out through a fight at a strategic times.

During Spirit Surge, Kimiyo's close combat capability raises to incredible levels of offensive power. Whereas normally Naomi Miyake holds the title for the strongest of the three Miyake sisters, Kimiyo can surpass it with the boost granted by Spirit Surge. In this form, her strength is borderline calamitous, incapable of being contained by the flesh of her body. The smallest flinch shatters the earth and blows foes away from her. She can do with her bare hands what others could only achieve with ultimate attacks; her every strike is an ultimate of its own. The reputation of Naomi is shared with Kimiyo, in that no one place can last long in one piece while she's fighting in it, as things explode around her with every movement. Speed is also boosted to a ridiculous level, several times greater than her previous limit. It is as though everything around her moves in slow time—she can watch the course of lightning occur before her, and outpace it. It is problematic to keep up with Kimiyo during Spirit Surge due to the fact that it is logically impossible to register her movements in your mind before they hit, due to the lag caused by light, and by the neurons in one's nervous system moving from your senses to your mind. It is advised that during Kimiyo's Spirit Surge, to keep away from her at all costs until it is over, for her power is estimated to be equal to that of a 0-1 while its active.

» Goddess of Battle Form: This is the more stable and conventional form of Kimiyo Miyake, focused less on the physical like Spirit Surge is and more on the power of Chi. Naturally, the Hametsu Taihou are the forefront of this form, and the two weapons transform to announce the change of state: The black casing that surrounds the barrels so firmly now shatter open into a variety of ebon shards that float around the barrel of the weapon, suspended by an invisible energy. Glowing pulses of red light occasionally streak across the shards, as well as the weapon itself, to show that they're practically bursting with power. The already long barrel extends an additional six inches out, while also growing a little bit thicker, making the weapon more menacing. This form has no hard limit to how long it can be used, but it does drain energy from Kimiyo at a faster rate, meaning that when she goes into the Goddess of Battle form, she's intending to close things out quick.
  • Lifesteal — Lifesteal is a passive ability of the Goddess of Battle form, allowing Kimiyo to go all out with her offense and care little about the defensive side of things. That's because lifesteal's effectiveness is directly related to how much damage she can dish out. Whenever the Hametsu Taihou strike any living thing, then Kimiyo's own wounds will be healed based on how much damage is done to them. The healing is fluid, meaning that it doesn't matter where the damage is done or where Kimiyo's injuries are, the healing is still done on a one-to-one rate. What this means is that damaging weak living things such as critters or plants—even destroying them completely—will barely heal a small cut on her fingers. However, is Kimiyo manages to dish out a large injury to an opponent of equal tier, then exactly how much damage is dealt to them will be healed for her. Naturally, weaker opponents heal less, and stronger opponents heal more. This is done by combining the basis of Spirit Surge's healing factor with energy theft caused by weakened parts of an opponent's body. When the Hametsu Taihou strike an enemy enough to cause damage, energy is leaked out through the wound and drawn to Kimiyo. She then uses that to heal herself. Given that most things have neutral energy, this usually has no adverse effects on her body, though there are some cases where Lifesteal can harm her more than hurt if the energy being stolen is corrupt. Thus, Kimiyo can turn this ability off if it becomes a problem.

  • Extra Firepower — The God of Battle form adds something to Kimiyo's repertoire of attacks that she previously didn't have: Homing attacks. This is yet another passive ability that activates with every pull of the trigger on the Hametsu Taihou. Each attack released will be accented with an additional two homing projectiles crafted from Chi, and sent outward from the maelstrom of black shards surrounding the weapons, which are simply called "Rockets". Any individual Rocket will be eight inches in length and three in width, and spawns a trail of fire behind it as it races to the nearest of targets that Kimiyo considers hostile. Upon striking the first thing in its way, the Chi within the Rocket is released in an explosive fashion (of course), coating an area twenty-five meters in radius with searing red energy. The power of this explosion is just as much as a Gran Rey Cero, but contained within a tighter space, making it easier to dodge, though the homing capabilities must be taken into account. The maneuverability of the rockets can be surprising, making sharp turns nearly instantly or rushing to enemies straight behind Kimiyo even if she fires from the front. The problem with the homing is that the projectiles are not very smart, as they don't maneuver around obstacles unless that obstacle is Kimiyo herself.

The number of rockets created from each blast increases by one for each post after the first in which she doesn't move more than five meters from her location the previous post. If she is allowed to just hold her ground and keep firing without disruption, then the power of her attacks will be boosted by adding Rocket after Rocket into the mix. After five posts, Kimiyo gains one last bonus that is so powerful that it is crucial to make her move out of the five meter zone. If she ever reaches that point, her Hametsu Taihou gain the "Unstoppable" bonus, which cause her attacks to always break through any shields, armors, or other defensive powers irregardless of how powerful they are, without losing any strength.

  • An Acquired Taste — They say that Kimiyo's guns have a mouth and stomach of its own, and it grows hungrier and hungrier as fights go on. This is true in the Goddess of Battle form, where Kimiyo's attacks seem to become stronger as the fight goes on. The assumption proves to be inaccurate, for it is not Kimiyo's attacks that grow stronger, but rather that her attacks grow used to the defenses of her foes. The first time Kimiyo's Hametsu Taihou are stopped by a defense, they begin to 'acquire a taste' for that defense. The next time the same defense is used, it will prove to be less effective, and the third time will make it even less effective. Depending on the strength of the defense, this Acquired Taste can eventually render the defense completely irrelevant, as though it were not even there, as the blasts from the Hand Cannons will have adapted to it perfectly. This ability only works with attacks made by the Hametsu Taihou, and only while she is in her Goddess of Battle form. Outside of it, the seemingly living weapons will forget the taste and just fire regular blasts. However, they will always remember the defense whenever Kimiyo returns to the form.

  • No Reload — This is a very simple and straightforward ability of the God of Battle form, which allows Kimiyo to continuously fire her Hametsu Taihou without needing to ever renew them. Her control over Chi in this form is great enough that she can compress and inject it directly into the gun. More than that, Kimiyo can now fire the weapons much faster, and compensate for the recoil easily due to her heightened form.

  • Pulse Nova — Pulse Nova is a outlet to the excessive Chi being generated by the Goddess of Battle form. Not only is it a good power to use in combat, but a necessary one, unless she wishes to explode into little bits and pieces. Over the course of three to five posts, Kimiyo generates more Chi than she knows what to do with, and must release it within that interval of time. The shockwave created by it will unequivocally send everything nearby flying away from her with an overwhelming kinetic and Chi force. A crater will be caused in the ground as the wave compresses it, and the area will be cleared in all directions so that nothing within fifty meters is left remaining. Anything who gets caught in the blast will be thrown away from Kimiyo anywhere from three hundred meters or more. Given that, the damage it causes when it strikes a person will be jarring, deadly perhaps if there is no defense against it. This power is good because it allows Kimiyo to stay safe as she fires away at opponents from a distance, but it also has its mechanics that prevent it from being abused. The quickest Kimiyo can use this since the last time it was used is three posts, and the latest is five posts as she can no longer contain the energy after that point. If enemies figure out the system, then the shockwave can be easily worked around even though it seems all-encompassing at first.

  • Crossing the Beams — This is an attack that combines the power of both Kimiyo's hand cannons at once, taking a charge time of a few seconds before firing crimson beams from both of them. The beams alone are crude and weak, perhaps causing searing lacerations if they strike something, but they are not intended to be used to directly strike a foe. Instead, Kimiyo attempts to cross the beams, and the point at which she does initiates a colossal explosion. Rose-colored energy is swathed across an area of one hundred meters in radius, and then persists once it reaches its maximum range. This large area now becomes an area of disintegration, near-instantaneously obliterating any matter that dares move inside its radius. It's like a constant supernova is going off within the glowing red area, never weakening. It does eventually dissipate after five posts of being maintained, however, or if another one of these zones is formed (Only one can be active at a time). Kimiyo is the only one who can freely move about in this zone, and it will actually enhance her speed while she moves through it by twice the original amount. Note that this does require a massive amount of energy to initiate.

The Destruction of Pluto — Kimiyo has the incredible power of being able to destroy Pluto through sheer force of will.
