Upon first inspection,people would more than likely believe that Steven was younger than he appears. He's short, standing at a 5'6 frame and doesn't appear as if he weighs a whole lot. Though he is not extremely muscular, Steven does have a surprisingly toned build due to all the training he was put through as a kid. When it comes to his choice of attire, he usually sports clothing that supports different shades of red and sometimes a little pink. His hair is a dark red and short, usually covered up by the large array of hats that he wears over it most of the time. He usually sports clothing that is athletic in nature as well, believing that you never know when trouble will strike. So t shirts and shorts are often part of the red and pink scheme, with a jacket thrown in every now and then.

“Can’t stop !”
Steven is a very active individual, and can get happy over just about anything. He believes in doing everything to the fullest and doing it with as much style and flare possible. He’s usually seen as annoying to others because of his hot blooded spirit and refusal to calm down. Due to such spirit he can also easily be seen as cocky and scrappy, never shying away from a fight or challenge regardless of what that may be.

“Now the REAL hero is here!”
The true hero will always come through, whether it be in the midst of battle or right in the nick of time. Steven has never been a exception to this, and is firm believer in the greatest heroic moments being when the hero shows up out of nowhere and rescues those who are in danger. He understands fully that part of the job is also being able too go out of his way to help people, to assist them by any means necessary and could even result in his own death. But this does not stop him from still trying to be the absolute best hero he can be. His unqiue heroic kind of style is often seen with his flashy moveset as well as the dramatic poses he tends to make.

Of course someone of his mettle is very easy to speak too and befriend, as he is genuinely friendly with just about everyone. Though he does stand on the side of good, it doesn’t by any means stop him from speaking with or relaxing with someone who does not. He gets along the most with people who share his nerdy interests in video games and comic books, but to date he’s never met a person he couldn’t find some kind of redeemable trait in.

“YOU WANNA PLAY ONLINE SOMETIME?”
Steven is a very, very, very big video game nerd. He is obsessed with them and can go on hours with anyone about said obsession, and often tries to invite people to come back to his home to play games with him. He is fan of MMOs and the like as well, and is just a bit of a movie and comic book aficionado as well.

“The hero has to get his point across somehow!”
Steven thinks that no one is just bad for the sake of being bad, that everyone has something that happened to them to end up the way they are. That there is truly a sense of good in all people. As such, regardless of how cold blooded a villain might seem, Steven will still believe that there is hope for them to improve themselves in the future. He understands this is no slow process, but he’s willing to fight them time and time again til the ends of the earth to try and help them understand they may be fighting on the wrong sie.

“They wouldn’t run, and neither will I!”
Steven’s source of attitude, determination, and all else comes mainly from his mother, who does her hero duties on the side to this day. She inspired the boy greatly with the way she never backs down from a thread and defends everyone around her regardless of the level of danger. That bravery is something she has easily passed down on to him, and It can very easily be referred to as stubbornness from others.

He can come across as cocky and full of himself a lot of the time, and that’s namely because it was how he was raised. His mother wasn’t just the one to remind him he could do anything, but that nothing could get in his way. Due to this he is rather prideful, and at the same time even if he does lose, he never lets it keep him out of commission for too long.

• Natural Attributes:

- Keep On Truckin’ : What he lacks in size he makes up for in stamina. This doubled with his aerobic specific training gives him the energy needed to fight for longer periods of time in battle. It by no means implies the boy does not still get exhausted, he just does not get as exhausted as easily as others.

- Fast As You Can Go: He is rather quick namely due to his build, and his reflexes are top notch as well. He is able to effortlessly perform backflips and tries to use his size to his advantage when outmatched against taller and or slower enemies. His fighting style revolves around several speedy hits but not powerful hits being given to the enemy. He prefers traditional karate as his fighting art of choice.

-Marksman : In order to complete the program he was signed up for, he had to specialize in more than just one type of combat. Thus, he chose to use firearms. Through practice and discipline, he has managed to become a respectable marksman over the years. His preferred weapon would be handguns.

- Under Duress : Even while under pressure, he is able to reload and fire off a shot in under two seconds. This skill allows him to shoot in the same post he reloads one time a thread. It was honed and learned during his trials with his family as well as when he was sent to an academy.

A handgun given to him by his aunt once he finished his hero initiation . When not carried in Crimson Regalia, it's kept in a holster. It was originally built by his aunt by hand, each part needing to be made separately in order for it to work. Because of how proficient her fire arms are known for being, it is a bit of a good luck charm to him as well. Likewise, she also made the ammunition needed for said gun as well.

AMMUNITION:

The "classic" bullet rounds are utilized more often than others. They're run of the mill compared to the more heavy duty fire, and was given to Steven since he's essentially only just starting out.

Steven knew that he would need something a bit more, to pack a bigger punch with the enemies he would be up against in the near future. Thus as his second ammunition of choice he selected the Beam Boy rounds. They fire off just what the name says.

This ammunition is kept in a separate magazine. Only three bullets are available. When the trigger is pulled, a yellow thin, needle like beam of energy is fired from it.

It operates as a small pocket dimension that stores weapons, supplies, as well as summons. It is traditional for people who graduate from the academy to have one, as it makes carrying things around a lot easier without need of a backpack. Normally, this device can be seen strapped to his hip. It is water proof and rather durable, though it's not built to take on direct impact of any kind.

When Steven transforms, it becomes a watch instead.

Selena was initially summoned through a ancient ritual coupled with the usage of Steven's Anima stone. Due to this, she does not share the more inhumane traits that most other creatures summoned through other conventional methods have. She looks fairly human and matches her summoner in terms of height. As far as personality goes, she was raised to be like him and so acts in the same energetic and friendly way. She has a great dislike for evil however, greater than her summoner to the point she lacks listening to his reasoning if she sees injustice done. She resides in Crimson Regalia unless sent out of it.

ATTACKS:

-Alkatraz: The name of the sword that Selena uses. It is made of a reinforced steel and was crafted by a skilled blacksmith. Essentially the blade was kept by the town it was forged in and sealed up, but it was given to Selena when she and Steven were asked to defend everyone from a rapid demon attack. The blade itself is able to cut into buildings with ease, and the summon is very prolific with her usage of it.

-Jailbreak: A power up used for the sword. Jailbreak is empowered by energy being poured into Alkatraz,thus the sword goes into it's second phase : Jailbreak. This form makes the sword light up in a way similar to a light saber. It makes the blade hotter to the touch for a short amount of time, as the user tries to swing it at the enemy to inflict burns on them. The trade off is that when this attack is activated, on top of only being around for a small amount of time, Selena's hand ends up burned.Not singed enough it can't be used, but to bring upon pain towards herself as she tries to muscle through it for the rest of the thread.

Due to that nature, she'd only activate this ability if the enemy was viewed as that big of a threat.

- No Mercy ! : A attack that was actually one of Selena's latest. It was harder to learn due to the drain that the attack puts on her. A red orb is formed in her hand, faintly seen glowing. And as quick as it came, a beam thin as a needle is fired from her hand and at the enemy.

A stone that was discovered on a rescue mission near a volcano. It has a intense heat hidden within it, and is used to empower the user with the ability to heat up their body and or make fire based attacks hotter.

This ability is used to augment his physical attacks (kicking, punching, kneeing, ect anything that does not involve weapons) with a strength boost of 1.5x for 9 posts. The heat that powers up said attacks is 500 F [260 C].

• Pure Abilities:

-Burning Will ! : Due to the generation and manipulation over fire, he is naturally resilient to flames. Flames that are underneath 1200 F [648 C] he can survive with minor burns. Anything above this will burn him just like anyone else.

When Steven transforms, he turns into a true hero appearance wise. He gains a red outfit as well as helmet that is topped with a V. On top of this, he gains white gloves and boots. The finishing touch is the pink “cape” that is worn as well, and he usually has a Nike towel that is worn on his lower body at the back, clamped on tightly by his belt. Atop of this, during the transformation a red blinding light envelopes him that vanishes afterwards.

-Atomic Wings: A powered up version of red hot. Used to augment his hits with flames, though these are a bit stronger. The heat that powers up these attacks is 600 F [315 C].

-Pink Flare : This is also used to augment physical damage he can do ( anything not involving a weapon), however this version is used to make his attacks faster. Pink streaks of energy usually follows his kicks and punches while using it.

- The V Rang : The sharp "V" on his head is launched at the enemy, with the homing ability to come back towards the enemy if it misses the first time. The item itself is sharp enough to cut into a building.

Background History

• Background:

Steven had never lived a single dull moment in his life. Even while still young, perhaps in his toddler years his parents, two small town renowned heroes made sure to beat the lessons of good morals and ethics into them. Their son had a gift, a talent similar to their own: and this was his own innate ability to manipulate his own kind of fire. As one would expect, this would later dictate the personality vibes that he would end up giving off. The male always came across as cocky, a trait he without a doubt got from his mother. She of course saw no true issue with how he acted because in her book, he was always able to back up the big talk that he would make. His father however, conflicted with this heavily. His father was a much more reserved type of person. The man felt as if his son’s own ego would end up eventually getting him matched up against villains and situations alike that he would not be able to handle. As such, when his son hit the ripe age of ten he was sent to a place called Sadare Academy.

This academy was a private one that Steven’s mother and her sister had attended. Though it didn’t do wonders for them in his father’s regard, he felt as if maybe with Steven it would be different. The school focused on heightening the abilities of the youth and trying to turn them into the heroes of tomorrow. Steven didn’t have nearly as much competition as his father was making it sound like he would. When it came to speed, he wasn’t able to be touched. Natural stamina was his thing too. He studied fire arms as well, taking it up as his second choice style of combat. He was not as proficient with all types, but when it came to hand guns there was always something special about him. In turns of reloading, aiming, and firing off rounds in succession, there were only two people in his class of fifty that were above him.

But the one area he did lack in was strength. Steven wasn’t known for being immensely strong. In the same sentence, he wasn’t by a average human’s scale weak, as his build portrayed. But upon realizing this after being told by one of his teachers, he began to train harder than he has before. This included lifting even more weights, eating more, increasing his nightly pushups and everything else in between. On top of this he was able to summon a familiar successfully in his classes that he affectionately nicknamed Selena. She would be helping him in his day to day training, and was rather easily his best friend.

Naturally a bond with a familiar like that made others around him jealous, as most could barely get their own to share two words with them. So Steven would be picked on simply for a bond that he was having fun on building. One of the gun slinging experts that were spots above him in his class had stood up for him at one point, inciting fear in his classmates and bringing said bullying to a close. Steven’s first true combat test that wasn’t against a beast would be him having to engage in combat with his hand to hand teacher: Olivine.

Simply put, the woman was like a mother or older sister to him. She was always kind to him and reminded him a lot of his mother, thus the reason he would follow her around like a lost puppy. For some it would make taking such a test a hard task for them to do, but Steven was different. The male wanted to get stronger, to prove that he was ready to be a certified hero and to show his father that his attitude wasn’t out of place as he thought. And so the battle began. Steven was able to land a few good hits, flames working wonders and leaving his sensei’s skin singed. The exchange of blows lasted for only a few minutes before Steven ended up finding himself knocked out by a quick punch square in his face. When he had finally came too, he was in the nurse’s office. Where he was told how he passed the combat test, but didn’t get the perfect score he was aiming for as he was knocked out. Some of his fellow students informed him that his teacher had passed out a little after her victory, but he didn’t count that as a win. There was no honor in it. If she was a villain, that split second could have been time used to heal herself up and run away. He had to improve himself even further, there had to be something else he was missing, but what? So with little time to really get out there and prove himself, he went on another training regimen. It was interrupted since he was scheduled for a mission soon.

MISSION : DELTA ASSAULT

The mission wasn’t difficult. Go in, obtain the stone and rescue the locals by defeating a gang of wandering villains, and leave. The mission was looked at as being so simple, Steven was sent with only a five man team though he was not the captain of it. Once they had finally stepped foot in the jungle, they were welcomed with the hostile actions of the group that was said to have already taken over the small island. From bullets to arrows, they were already flying towards all of them. The leader panicked, not sure how to assess the situation as he quickly abandoned them by hopping into the water. Steven grabbed three of them at once and followed pace seeing as how they weren’t moving fast enough to react to all that was going on. In the process ending up with a arrow lodged into his back.

The three of them washed up on shore, and Steven will never forget the man’s face. The demon had sharp rows of teeth, red bloodshot eyes and a head with horns coming out of it. It went without saying he had a very muscular and intimidating build as well, which left even his peers that seem somewhat just as big longing.

He stated how he would torture all of them until one of them spoke up about who sent them, but they were all trained not to talk. So they were going to have to beat it out of them. But to the heroic group’s dismay, the leader that had just left them not moments ago popped up from underwater and intended to tell all he knew to spare his allies. Until-

BANG.

Steven shot him in the knee to prevent him from speaking, causing his ally to keel over in pain. Before the leader of the demons could react…

BANG.

Steven shot him right in the head and charged in, in the event that his attack wasn’t fatal enough.

“RED HOT!”

Was screamed to the top of his lungs, his hands and feet glowing with hot flames as he started to berate the body of the beast with powerful, flame enriched blows. Each one out of anger, out of rage, the need of protecting his allies, of completing the mission:

Of becoming a hero.

Before he could continue his dangerous combo, the “goons” of the demon managed to push him away as they checked up on their leader to see if he was even still alive. And Steven, as one would expect, didn’t care and was nowhere near done.

“HENSHIN!

WELCOME TO THE GO GO LAND, BABY!”

And as he spoke the words, a glowing red light enveloped his very being. Blinding those nearby and what was left when it was gone was the new trick he picked up not too long ago.

A pose was struck, as he had summoned out his familiar Selena to pose along with him. A blast of fire erupting behind them in dramatic fashion!

And it’s about time you put your bad deeds to REST!”

There was great confusion among them all, the mooks. His allies were just left to stare in awe.

“…And, if we say we don’t want to leave..?”

“Then I’d saaaay…”

And within a instant, he seem to be in front of them.

A flurry of power packed, flame enriched punches were being sent at all of the demonic jobbers around him in a impressive display. And once he was done, only a few were left standing. Upon seeing them he didn’t attack, he simply took off the V of his helmet and walked over to a tree.

“Now, all demons who want to fulfill the promise they made to their mother of grandchildren..”

SHNK!

The bladed weapon cut –clear- through the tree with a powerful swing.

“Should vacate the island immediately!”

And as he said that the tree fell, with the troops leaving in groves upon noticing evident defeat.

MISSION COMPLETE!

The next day that the mission was found to be completed, Steven and Selena would find two gifts given to them by the tribes located on the island. A stone that would increase the intensity of Steven’s flames, and a sword Selena would come to be a expert in using.

So weeks after this was all solved, Steven officially graduated from the rookie status of the academy and could finally call himself a hero. Making his parents proud as can be, and forcing his father to have to listen to him when it came to trusting in his abilities. From that day on, Steven would volunteer for the academy’s “Academic Achievement” program, which was not at all what it seemed. Needless to say he now lives on his own, still training with Selena to be the best heroes of which the like this world has ever seen.
