ENTER THE DEPTHS

Another day another world destructive event happening.
The aftermath following the moon battle was hectic to say the least, with the unfounded rumors of Azure having did some type of suicide bomb wasn’t helping the situation; in fact it might’ve strained the already fragile situation even more. Even now, rumors surrounding Mana having destroyed various Vanguard equipment in space to send it down to earth as debris, sadly Hayden didn’t have any time to investigate these rumors considering large anomalies were currently on course to strike south africa. That definitely wasn’t good what’s so ever.
So considering Hayden main base of operations was located within Africa, he had sent a message out to HQ detailing he would be dealing with the Africa sector himself. There was brief talk back home if he should interfere and enter K-World territory but while they discussed Hayden could only pinch the bridge of his nose. The politics behind the situation was just as bad as they where when Azure was alive but now that they didn’t have a figure head it was all going to shit.
“Our job is to protect earth, any inhabitants within it. I’m going in; K-world and politics be damned!”
Hayden had thundered over the comms which promptly ended any discussion of the matter, so now that he was greenlit to interfer in the situation it would only take mere moments for him to travel from the Vastimian Nation to the airspace of South Africa; while not the smartest he could pinpoint the general locations of where the debris would fall along with a little help from command mind you.
So with this Hayden would accelerate to meet the debris halfway into the Mesosphere, his body easily able to handle the G-force along with any type of drag on his physical body; as for oxygen the man was self producing due to his Death Matter so he would be fine. Besides, early in the month he had practically used himself as a shinigami rocketship. But besides that it was time he stopped the hurtling mass of space junk from impacting into the ground underneath him.
It was funny how unsheathing his Zanpakutō was now such a different type of event, he tried to practice restraint nowadays trying to only remove his Zanpakutō unless the situation truly called for it. But today, his enemies had made this people bleed- this was not going to a slight he forgave any time soon. A soft cold anger burned inside of Hayden as he let out a warm breath as his blade swayed slightly, the hurling masses igniting as they traveled down to the ground; before suddenly half of them were instantly gone.
Hayden arm had simply lifted his Zanpakutō in the air with one hand summoning his energy forth as the blade began to shine a blinding white, before a crackling and chirping sound was heard from it. The sound of lightning forming around his blade was a annoying sound but one he had come to welcome and even take comfort in at times; for it was his power that he was using. With the sideways swing of his blade he would send a massive horizontal arc of lightning that would impact with the first half of the debris instantly vaporizing it as Hayden pure kinetic force of the swing was enough to empower his strike.
The second half of the debris did not receive any solace from the man however, as his free hand lifting as a swirling mass of blackened energy with streaks of erratic white lacing it began to form in his palm. This was the telltale sound of a cero and a massive one at that; the pulsing orb of power gathering more and more before finally it released itself striking the debris with the power to level an entirely village or city block. The lightshow from the earth might’ve been nice to look at- if you didn’t worry about the potential fact that if Hayden failed you might be losing you life.
Yet, he succeeded in destroying the debris. It was a simple enough task, while tiring he had to fly all the way here and release two attacks it had saved countless lives. It was easy to forget when waging a war, that the very reason the Vanguard was established was to save the earth and lives. Least anyone forgot.
With those parting thoughts Hayden would begin heading home, making sure to alert someone to draw him a warm bath. Being a good guy could make a guy tired!
