RAKSHASA OF SLAUGHTER

Artist: Arrowhead & Zentra - Song: Funkyard - Word Count: 524

The darkness... the blood... the bodies... On Yuukinan's layer of hell, layer 101, the entire layer was fit to look how she wished it to. How might that look exactly? Like that of a battlefield that had been ravaged by a powerful force. Blood and bodies were strewn all over the ground; death in the air. Such a thing was natural to Yuukinan, especially the blood thing. However, now was not the time to think of the past; the past she had long forgotten. Ever since Yuukinan could recall, he swordsmanship has been exquisite. However, she felt it lacked something for so long. What it may be lacking is something she does not know; it is unclear to her.

For so long that lack luster feeling had haunted her whenever she wielded her blades. Soon enough she realized the issue she was having. Her style was not perfect, it was not appropriate; it wasn't as deadly and effective as she wanted it to be. With such knowledge chewing at the back of her mind, she decided to use some necromancy to summon up those she had faced in the past who had sword skills that could rival her own. She needed a challenge, not a slaughter fest; though that'd be fun too. This was about her skill with Keguri Megumu and Thangkas. It was not about killing, entirely. It was about honing her skills to the point where no one could match her in swordsmanship. After all, if her wrath was not to be matched then, nor would her swordsmanship. Not to mention, she has a strange style whenever she uses both Thangkas and Keguri Megumu together; which needs perfection.

Speaking of perfection, it was time to get to that and perfect her fighting style. Yuukinan has always had completely control over her layer of hell, as she should be, and today was time to make the damn thing a battle field full of those ripe to be cut down with her blade. Of course, these enemies weren't devoid of expertise to do the exact same thing to her. Of course, she could kill them all, but, she had chosen those who would have exquisite expertise in swordsmanship and provide her own swordsmanship a challenge. Yuukinan looked over the crowd of skeletons and zombies. This was necromancy after all, while she managed to secure their skills and muscle memory; she left everything else out. She just gave them all one single command to fight her until someone had been completely defeated. Yuukinan wasn't gonna take them on one at a time, nah, no fun. She was gonna take them all on at once. It was a good way to sharpen her reflexes, swordsmanship, and even her own skills in general. Slowly, very slowly, Yuukinan drew both of her straight Katanas. She was in hell, she had no need to be in her DE Merge to hide her real identity. She drew the blades from their sheaths and left them at her sides, in each hand. After she drew her swords, the undead charged.

Time to kick some undead ass.

Here they come. They came in droves, it seemed as if there would be no end to these undead bastards. She slowly brandished her swords and with a vicious growl she flew at some enemies with ridiculous speed. She slammed into one with her blades and he dissolved into a puddle due to the acid her blades were extremely devastating to the flesh. However, she had to recover quickly and block a sword to her left, to her right, behind her above her. Yuukinan's arms were basically flying every which way to block the attacks. However, she was definitely missing something. She definitely noticed that when she felt a blade she missed slam into her back. It didn't break through her Akuma Kyodo, luckily, but, she noticed it slam into her and it made her curse, turn around, and behead the undead that hit her back, leaving it dead once more. She then had to do a quick jump upwards to avoid another blade aimed for her back.

Damn. She figured out what was missing. She had a giant open spot right on her back that she didn't know about until now. This really pissed her off. She had to figure out a way to keep that blind spot from screwing her over in the future. She probably could use her body manipulation to create some sort of defense, but, that wasn't the point for this currently. She had to find a way to block attacks from behind her. Frankly, the best way to do so would be to have constant awareness of everything around her, no matter what. However, she has not come to such a conclusion yet. She had not figured out that she needed to do so with her blades. For now, she continued what she knew, which was her very strange attack and defend style she has.

When she finally landed a little bit away from the undead she got into an actual fighting stance and she exhaled softly. She reached a hand up and lightly pulled on the top of the face mask, her Dagi Tvaca, before she growled and tore it off in less than a second. Causing the release of her power, her illusions, and she let her anger run free. She exhaled from her mouth, which she normally doesn't breathe from, and she pointed Thangkas at the zombies and flew at them, at breakneck speeds.

She blocked, cut, parried, riposted, even some disarms. She also did some rather strange spinning moves when she jumped into the air. Overall, it wouldn't even be recognized as a style due to how many random moves were in it, how slashes we performed, how the cuts looked, nothing about it looked in anyway ordinary. With it, she was able to clear some blades, undead, and distance. However, it did not last long at all. Some of them started to catch on and start to block her attacks and parry them from time to time. No matter how random her style got at this point, they could find a way. These bastards were definitely good for a reason.

CLANG!

That very sound resounded in Yuukinan's ears as a rather large sword blocked both of her blades. Yuukinan's gaze shifted to him and she growled at him, pushing against it more. She glared at its toothy grin, the bastard's empty sockets. Hell, this thing could probably only fight against her strength because of the magic infused in its body to stay "alive". Soon enough she slipped her blades out from under the skeleton's blades and she slammed the swords into its body; destroying it completely. Her anger was rising, luckily, it didn't have a limit.

No matter the cut, the attack, the shattering bones. No matter what these undead did, Yuukinan would parry. She had to keep up how she was parrying, blocking, her ripostes, EVERYTHING. She couldn't stop, not for one second. She had to constantly change how she was attacking, how she was blocking, how she was parrying. Everything had to change. Even this strange abstract style of hers was starting to get figured out. Time to change things up.

As a sword came for her directly and she caught the blade on the handle of Thangkas, she slammed it down, and spun the blade; causing the other sword to fly away. She then took Keguri Megumu and stabbed the undead person in the head. She glared at what remained of its head and scoffed, slamming her fist into a zombie next to her. Bastards were so disgusting. She jumped backwards, evading some blades that had come for her, so she could regain whatever composure she had. She also straightened out her hair, changed the area, and sheathed Thangkas; leaving Keguri Megumu in her hands. She slowly put the sword in both of her hands and she dashed forwards again, hacking and slashing.

Block to the left, right, above, below, behind, all directions possible for strikes. She had to use one sword. Sure, using both of her straight Katanas would be the easiest thing for her to do. But, she had very little room to actually attack and retaliate with both of her hands bound to blocking attacks. Also, having one Katana instead of two would challenge her abilities as a swordsman and her own prowess in battle itself. She would do this, she would become one of the best swordsmen so no one could beat her in battle. It was the only thing to do.

As Yuukinan kept on fighting through the drove of undead. In truth, it wasn't unending at all. However, there were so many undead that she really could not see the end of them. Though, she didn't care. She was going to do anything to make sure she would become one of the strongest Rakshasa. She knew that she may not be as strong as the first Rakshasa but, it was something to aspire to. Even so, Yuukinan enjoyed battle so much that she couldn't help but let a grin slowly slip across her face; which was completely exposed due to her Dagi Tvaca being released. No longer was it the time to screw around. She had to test her skills, she had to push herself. The Rakshasa of Slaughter was going to kick all sorts of ass.

This was not over, it wasn't going to be over for a while. Yuukinan had to use all sorts of techniques she has either never needed to use or that she did not like. She even had to twist her wrist so the blade would be at her side to block an incoming blade. She's been having to do all sorts of basic block and parries and she's even been doing very advanced types where she literally slams her enemy's weapon out of the way and decapitate them. Whether those were advanced skills or just brutish force, she didn't care. Her style of fighting was so extravagant and unknown that many really could not guess her movement. The same proved true with these undead when she always slipped through their guards. Of course, some definitely provided her with problems when they were either lucky or their swordsmanship rivaled that of Yuukinan's. Even then, Yuukinan would still cut them down without little regard. She had done it once before, doing it again was not a big deal, and nor would it ever be a big deal. These bastards were dead and they were going to stay that way.

After a couple of minutes the crowd of undead stood a good few feet away from Yuukinan. She brandished her Keguri Megumu and taunted the undead, wanting them to come closer. No matter what she did the bastards did not draw a single step closer to her. Until, she felt a slight tremor and a disturbance in the crowd of the undead. She looked towards the disturbance and she growled, brandishing Keguri Megumu. After a couple of seconds a large skeleton emerged from the crowd. Arianda groaned at the site of the skeleton. The thing swung it's sword with immense speed and force, causing Yuukinan to jump out of the way.

Yuukinan jumped backwards, smashing into many skeletons; which demolished them. She slashed Kugiri Megumu behind her, corroding the flesh of zombies behind her, cutting the zombies down. She currently left Thangkas in it's sheath, she would get through this endeavor with one of her swords. She may go into her DE Merge to do so as well, but, she may end up using it to benefit herself later. She brandished Kugiri Megumu as the Skeleton swung at her again. She let the blade nearly hit her before she jumped above the blade, landed on it and then proceeded to slam her fist through the blade. She glared at the skeleton as it was still swinging the blade. She grabbed onto the inside of the sword and jumped down; pulling the skeleton with her. She blocked a couple of swords with Kugiri Megumu, cut down a few more skeletons, and parried more blades before the giant skeleton was finally on the ground. It smashed into the ground with a cacophonous noise. Yuukinan parried a few more swords and then slashed a good length of Skeletons down. She finished off the large skeleton and then continued to fight the rest of the Skeletons who had come down on her again. There was no time for a break or to rejoice. It was time to become even better with the sword.

RAKSHASA OF THE SLAUGHTER

Artist: Arrowhead & Zentra - Song: Funkyard - Word Count: 533

Suddenly... pain... Pain shot up Yuukinan's arm, her left arm, as a blade smashed through her Akuma Kyodo and cut through her flesh. Suddenly, her rage flared much more than it would have if she didn't get hit. She dislodged the blade from her arm, her blood slowly pouring from the wound. She slammed the enemies blade aside and then completely demolished the skeleton with a rather ferocious slash that created a small crater. Yuukinan specifically made sure her layer would be able to withstand ridiculous attacks. Say if Yuukinan decided to punch something in her layer, the punch wouldn't break anything nor create any craters. It was a good way to keep her from destroying everything when she got pissed.

With a slight fix to her arm and clothes with DE, reversing the time around the area, she then continued to fight the skeletons; ignoring the pain as much as possible. Ignoring the pain wasn't all that hard in truth. She's dealt with enough pain in the past that the left over pain, from reversing the time on the wound with DE, was nothing. She continued to cut at the skeletons, keeping up rather fluid movements, attacks, and a stalwart defense.

A blade came from her left, Yuukinan met the blade with her own; twisting both sword so the skeleton would lose its grip. The disarm caused the skeleton to drop the sword, which Yuukinan grabbed as it was still in range of her slightly, and Yuukinan stabbed it in the head with its own sword, kicking it away before parrying a blade that came from the right, smashing her fist into the skeleton's face when its sword was beat to the side. Her fist when through its skull; pieces of bone flying everywhere. She grabbed the spine of the skeleton, ripped it off of the skeleton, and then slammed the spine into another skeleton; shattering both the spin and the skeleton. She brandished her blade and just as another skeleton was about to swing she cut it directly in half. She sighed softly and watched as they just kept coming.

Slowly, Yuukinan could feel herself improving. The constant battle was really helping her form, her attack style, attack speed, stance, movement, everything! She was definitely noticing the difference when the skeletons had to change their own method of attack as well; sending the weakest first to wear her down. Luckily for the skeletons and Yuukinan, the "weakest" were those who were only the tiniest of fragments weaker. On a scale of one to 10 the stronger guys would be a 10 while the "weaker" were about a 9.5. The difference was only just enough that they were basically going to be fodder for Yuukinan and her blades. However, Yuukinan was pissed enough that her movements had accelerated greatly. Sure, the skeletons could keep up to her to an extent, but, she was slowly starting to cut them down much faster than before. Luckily, she made sure these skeletons would be endless until she was done with them. After all, what would be the fun if she ran out of enemies to fight?

RAKSHASA OF THE SLAUGHTER

Artist: Arrowhead & Zentra - Song: Funkyard - Word Count: 522

Yuukinan kept slashing, beating these bastards around with her blade like she was playing tennis against a machine that would continually shoot tennis balls in her direction; and she kept throwing them back. These bastards had started to feel like they were wimps, but, she still had trouble here and there. This was made obvious when another blade smashed into her right arm at the exact same area as on her left arm. Again? Really? What the fuck you stupid god damn skeletons? Yuukinan turned to look at a grinning skeleton; whose sword was in her right arm still. She slammed the sword aside and then destroyed the Skeleton; growling as it exploded.

She spat in the skeleton's general direction before resuming her onslaught; her slaughter. As she continued to absolutely destroy every single skeleton that remained, ignoring the fact that her blood is been thrown all over the place from the wound on her right arm. She then realized that her arm was throwing her own blood all over the place. She sighed softly and used DE to reverse the time for her arm; repairing the wound. Once again, the pain was still left from the wound; which Yuukinan ignored. She then continued her onslaught drawing her second blade; Thangkas.

After she drew Thangkas she slammed her blades against a large skeleton; causing it to shatter and slam into other skeletons. She blocked a couple of blades that came from behind her with her blades. She turned towards the skeletons and exhaled from her mouth as she slammed her swords down and created a minor shock wave. Afterwards, she charged towards a giant skeleton and engaged in combat with it. She blocked many strike the skeleton threw at her, frankly, she hadn't been attacking at all.

The skeleton kept throwing attack after attack, which Yuukinan blocked time and time again. The other skeletons stopped to watch due to hoping that Yuukinan was about to fall or fail. However, they were so terribly wrong. With a sudden upwards slash from her blades the weapon that the skeleton had flew out of it's bony hands. The skeleton's stance seemed to take on one that was much more like fear. Obviously, this thing, along with the other skeletons, thought that Yuukinan was not going to last. Unfortunately for these bastards Yuukinan was not one to be beaten in battle easily. She had the tiniest grins as it was her turn to attack now.

With a couple of slashes she had cut the legs off of the Skeleton with ease. She then did a back flip, her blades following her legs. The back flip was completed in nearly a second, but, shortly after; the skeleton split in half and fell around her. She spun her blades for a second and then left them hanging at her sides. Luckily, she hasn't felt the need to use her DE Merge, but, she may just to practice the use of that sword. Either way, Yuukinan knew she was improving. It was only a matter of time before these skeletons were nothing but dirt.

RAKSHASA OF THE SLAUGHTER

Artist: Arrowhead & Zentra - Song: Funkyard - Word Count: 550

Left. Right. Up. Down. Side to side. Yuukinan was throwing slashes in every which direction. Her expression was no longer one of calm, oh no, this was one of immense anger and rage. The air was basically filled with Yuukinan's intense hate. If the skeletons could feel emotions, they would feel that she was definitely the angriest person in the world. Hell, her anger was likely felt in some other layers it was so intense. But, she didn't care. Her anger was her own and those who felt it either normally deserved it or just happened to be there. Whatever, she didn't care.

With very interesting hacks and slashes she flitted around her layer of hell taking out skeleton after skeleton; shattering them into bone fragments. Luckily, she had made it so that she would be able to take out the skeletons if they were completely destroyed. As she was finally developing her swordsmanship to extreme levels she was able to do some very masterful moves and techniques. She was using a mix of Kendo-like attacks and European sword fighting techniques; like riposting. However, her style was so ridiculously abstract that it was finally hard for the skeletons to grasp it. Hell, if someone asked Yuukinan to describe her fighting style or try to teach it; she would have no idea how to. With just how abstract the style is no one else could learn it without having a way to copy Yuukinan exactly.

Again, Yuukinan was confronted by the same large skeleton from earlier. She scoffed at the skeleton and then rebounded it's blade off of her own two blades. This time, it was giving her no quarter; and she was giving it none either. The Skeleton seemed to be frantically swinging its blade at Yuukinan; which she parried every strike. Luckily for the Skeleton it had a good guard and kept itself guarded from Yuukinan. However, who said she had to fight fair? She was practicing her swordsmanship, not her fairness. She slammed her blade down onto the skeletons blade and with a grin her blade slowly started to melt through the Skeleton's blade with its corrosion. She cackled a little as the Skeleton's blade shattered soon after Yuukinan's blade melted through it. She then grabbed one of the shards and threw it with immense force at the Skeleton's face; causing it's face to shatter. She then slashed her swords downwards at the body of the skeleton and shattered it. She did not need this thing to come back. However, that was the least of her worries. The skeletons were getting bolder, attacking Yuukinan more; definitely trying to kill her. Bastards need to learn their place.

When a single skeleton came straight for Yuukinan she spun around and slammed her swords into it; causing the skeleton to first be cut into thirds before the force of the slash caused its bones to shatter. Yuukinan wasn't done yet though, oh no, with all these skeletons coming at her at once, she had a great opportunity to test her DE Merge's capabilities. So, on this final note she went into her DE Merge and waited for her enemies to come, it was to be a slaughter fest.

After launching into her DE Merge, Yuukinan's Dagi Tvaca remained off, but, it was no longer as obvious since the Dagi Tvaca normally changed with her to match, so, the tainted skin still produced it's illusion miasma. Yuukinan meanwhile brandished the sword her DE Merge has. She doesn't exactly have a name for it yet. She thought of Murasame for a name, but, the sword has no true identity. However, that did not matter, what mattered was that Yuukinan was about to smash these skeletons into piles of bone meal.

With a giant arched slash, she cut down the first line of skeleton's coming at her before she dived into the crowd and started to cut down skeleton's like they were bamboo reeds. The skeletons cut like nothing with her DE Merge's blade ripping them to shreds. It was nothing all that hard frankly, the blade cut through the bones and flesh of the skeletons like they were butter. Not to mention she was parrying, riposting, countering, and attacking like these skeletons were greenhorns in an army; they were now easily beatable to her. Even the Skeletons could tell that she was starting to kick their ass more than before; barely any of their blades were touching her. They had to start ganging up on her much more than they were before; which helped. But, it didn't help much.

As about 10 Skeleton's came for Yuukinan she used a DE barrier to block the 5 skeletons that came from behind her as she dealt with the 5 in front of her. In a show of amazing swordsmanship Yuukinan blocked all of their blades with just her sword; catching the blades in all places possible. She grinned at the and then parried, knocking their swords up as she slashed at all of their mid-sections all at once. The corrosive miasma of her blade reduced the skeletons to nothing but piles of boiling flesh and bone. Afterwards she turned around and pushed her DE barrier slightly so the Skeletons were thrown off slightly and she gave all of them a nice skeletal midriff. Well, it didn't last long as they all were reduced to blobs of boiling flesh like the other skeletons. She sighed softly at the sight. It was an interesting thing to see but also dissatisfying since her sword was just that deadly. Oh well, she was improving in her swordsmanship overall, and that's what mattered currently.

She returned to her onslaught of slashes, counters, parries, and blocks; not giving the skeletons a single moment to recuperate or regain composure. She was going to kick their asses until they were reduced to absolutely nothing. She was so full of hate that she had no way to restrain herself right now. She exhaled softly and growled at everything as she swung her sword around. Her rage and anger was getting towards what one would consider her peak. However, her anger had no peak. She would keep getting angry until she had destroyed these skeletons. This was not every yet. There was no time to goof around; it was time to kill.

Yuukinan spun her sword around, taking out multiple undead as she swung her blade around. They were small fry, weak against her blade. She cut down skeletons like they were reed stalks in a field; vulnerable to her hate. She would not stop cutting them down, not yet, this was not over quite yet. She was going to exterminate these skeletons until they were nothing but piles of boiled flesh. Which is what she did to all of the skeletons around her; turning them to mush. They were nothing compared to Yuukinan, her swordsmanship had surpassed them with ease; and it was still becoming better.

She blocked the blade of a single skeleton who was able to get a chance to attack her and she grinned. She sighed softly and parried the strike knocking the skeleton back, she then swung her sword in an arc and shattered the skeleton completely. It was a nice start to her total annihilation of these skeletons. Without further ado! Yuukinan turned around and slammed her blade into another skeleton; smashing it into bits. She spun around, her sword following her movement, as she elegantly cut through a row of Skeletal swordsman; reducing them all to mush. She was not fooling around anymore, not like she ever was, she had finally found the issue with her swordsmanship. It was too open, and now it wasn't. It was not full of enough anger, hate, and rage; now it was. Now, her swordsmanship was unrivaled by these skeletons; and even they knew it.

The skeletons had started to try and withdraw, surrender, anything. But, Yuukinan would not let them go. She crushed them and whatever souls they could, or would, have. She had torn their bones asunder, ripped her skulls off their spines, shattered their bodies and souls. Yuukinan would no longer have these weak assholes in her layer of hell. She would have none of it, weaklings had no place down here. They're contaminating her layer of hell with weakness and, it was time to eradicate it once and for all. Yuukinan fully used her DE powers to wreak ultimate havoc upon the skeletons.

She hacked and slashed, reducing all the skeletons to mush as she slowly started to destroy them all. She was no longer putting up with this shit; seeing the skeletons still existing pissed her off. Her anger was so immense that even the Skeletons could feel it now, though, it wouldn't be as bad as a human feeling her rage. Whatever minds these skeletons had left were being filled with idea that Yuukinan was going to cause them to die again. They were going to be smashed into nothing but mush, and Yuukinan would not stop until they were dead. They also could not fight her swordsmanship at all; even though they were some of the best swordsmen in the world. She had surpassed them and now, she was going to kill them. However, these bastards were up to something while she was killing the front liners. They had combined into a rather large swordsman; ready to kill her. She sighed and brandished her sword, the word "Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat" passing through her mind as she brandished her sword. Time to deal with a giant ass skeleton.

Yuukinan stared up at the giant skeleton as it's bones, clicked, clacked, and rattled at the movement of the giant skeleton. She groaned and brandished her Katana as the Skelton took a step; causing the ground to rumble a little. It bones made more rattling noises the second it took the slightest step towards Yuukinan. She glared up at it and, instead of using her current sword; she sheathed it. She exhaled softly and slowly, ever so slowly, made a blade from her right arm. The blade was not her right arm though; it was made from herself. The blade was made from Yuukinan's flesh, bone, and her ever burning hatred towards nearly everything.

The blade she had basically pulled out of her arm was pure black, radiated hatred, and seemed to be wickedly sharp. She spun the blade and accidentally cut through the ground with it. Whoops. She sighed softly and brandished the straight katana-like blade of hate. She glared at the skeleton, pure hate radiating from her entire being as she slowly walked towards the giant skeleton. As she took a step forwards to the skeleton it swung at her with absurd speed, aiming to one shot her. Big mistake. She blocked the blade with her own as it started to cut through the blade due to it's sharpness; a blade fueled by Hate. The Skeleton soon withdrew it's blade when Yuukinan was about to cut through it. She scoffed at the skeleton and then slammed her sword against the blade when it struck again; cutting the top part of the blade off.

As soon as the top of the blade was lopped off, the Skeleton looked at its blade and then back at Yuukinan and then did a motion that seemed to mean "WHAT THE FUCK?" Though, she didn't care. She was going to return this skeleton back to the dead; where they belong. Again, the Skeleton swung at her with it's stump of a blade. She blocked the attack and bisected the blade this time, cutting it down the middle and then ripping the blade asunder; leaving nothing but a handle and hilt. The skeleton looked at its stump of a blade and threw it aside, attempting to just punch Yuukinan; big mistake.

As soon as the skeleton punched she blocked its hand with her own, her eyes glowing as she stared at it; Death Energy flowing around her. She crushed the Skeletons fist and then, with surprising speed, she slammed it's fist into the ground, bringing it to its knees. She then brandishes her sword and got close enough for a killing slash and she cut upwards; directly in the middle of its being. After her cut, a blast of air was sent outwards; blowing around Yuukinan's very long hair in her DE Merge. Soon enough, the skeleton fell apart and was reduced to nothing but a blob. She sighed softly and let the blade become one with herself again. It was done, she had finally finished what she had wanted to do. She sighed softly and returned her layer of hell back to normal; no sign of the Skeletons left. She sighed softly and sat down next to where Ikari had been sleeping for who knows how long. She sighed softly and looked up towards the black mist at the top of her layer of hell. Finally, she had made sure that her attack patterns had no holes in it; that almost no one could break past her blade. She sighed softly and leaned against a wall that was behind her and she sighed softly. Now that she felt like her swordsmanship was unbeatable it was time to rest; at least for a little. After all, there was probably someone who needed to get killed sooner or later.
