I. Basic Information


» Name: Takeshi Dereshi
» Alias: Spider- got it in the war and kept it. Nickname is used so much that most people don't know it isn't his real name.
» Age: 516
» Gender: Male

» Association: Gotei 13

» Appearance Written: Takeshi is a man of average height for the 1920s, six feet tall. His muscle mass is lean, much like that of most military men. He has purple hair, about shoulder length, except in the back where it looks like it reaches his mid-upper back. He lets everything but the back fall down naturally, with the exception of the back, which is held in a pony tail. On his chin he has a thin beard. His hair is wispy and greasy, as far as texture. His skin is fair, not to light and not too tan, and his eyes are red. Under said eyes he has lines which give an him older appearance than he physically is.

His outfit is very different from most shinigami as he rarely wears a shihakusho, except for special occasions. His normal outfit is much like the one he died in. The 1st layer starts with the white shirt you wear under a tuxedo, with a black tie on it. His pants are black dress pants, his socks white and his shoes are black dress shoes. Over his shirt he wears a sleeveless black vest, which when shikai is active it becomes a sleeved vest. When he does wear a shihakusho, it doesn't have sleeves. At almost all times on his head he wears a 1920s black fedora, which he has a white band around the base of it.

II. Personality


» Personality:

Positive Traits
Layed back: He is not one to stress out much, and is pretty calm most of the time. He keeps a cool air in almost all situations, some of his teammates think he has no emotion at all.

Loyal to his friends: Takeshi is incredibly loyal to those he has a bond with. If you're a friend, and I mean friend not comrade or ally, and you are eaten by a hollow, he'll kill that hollow. This is ultimately the deciding factor on who he fights for.

casual way of talking: Takeshi, do to actually being from America, refers to people by their 1st name, though he does state your rank if you are above him. By no means is this meaning he is disrespectful this is just the way he talks.

Party person: He is all around a party person, being friendly at bars, buying drinks, and encouraging everyone to have a good time.

Romantic: When he wants, he can be the romance you'd expect from someone in that outfit. He'll be poetic, and lift up the person whom he is flirting with, onto a pedestal higher than the gods.

Social: When in an area where it is normal to be social, or it is needed, or with a friend, he can be very social. This all around bring the outgoing part of his personality. He is friendly, uses manners, and is all around a good person to be around when he is like this.

High class: He was raised to act high class. This side doesn't come out often but when he is like this, there is a chance he is in his shihakusho.

Peaceful: More than not he doesn't like starting fights. Partially because he doesn't like hurting people he doesn't have to, but also cause its a waste of time to him. However, he will not hesitate to kick your butt if you attack.

Happy Drunk: while most would say no drunk is better, the happy drunk is better than the angry drunk guy isn't it? When he is drunk he is in all around a good mood. When he is drunk he is honestly a mix between Happy Drunk and Romantic drunk. He is friendly and happy around everyone and romantic around a girl.

Negative Traits
X Slight Authority Problem: He has a dislike for taking orders, used to having his own agenda. While he will follow them, doesn't mean he'll have to like it.

X Lone Wolf: He prefers to be alone on missions, which honestly is pretty annoying. He will need a little extra pay if you want to work with others in a mission.

X Mysterious: Do to most people knowing little about him, him is very mysterious, and when you don't know much about someone it can cause fear. He also doesn't socialize unless you talk to him, and being distant from everyone else unless he feels that it would be better if he was there, this causes distrust.

X Cheater: In gambling he always cheats, plain and simple. He knows tricks to get slots machines to work, what do to get the ball to land on the stop he needs it to, and has cards up his sleeve. This has been the cause of many-a bar fight, which has result in many-a ass kicking.

X Loyal to friends: Because of being loyal to his friends, he will turn on allies if necessary. As such don't expect that just because you are on the same side, that he won't attack you. Now he will help you but he has to choose between you and his friend, goodbye.

Likes
Gambling: he is addicted to it.

Wine and Alcohol: not addicted just used to it do to being in the roaring 20s. (for those of you who don't know, that was a time of parties and celebration, being care free, at least in America.)

His outfit: he just likes that style. That simple.

His Zanpakutō: he finds her cute and since she is Lady Luck, he kinda relied on her in life. Her personality also mirrors his.

III. History


» History: Living in the roaring 20s, Takeshi's life was mostly carefree and fun. It was the time of parties, fun, celebration, illegally drinking! It was a huge change from the war that they had been in for so long. A majority of his human life had been spent living during and later fighting in the first world war. Of course, as a kid, he was only aware that there was a war, and all of the propaganda that came with it.

Literally two days after being of legal age, he was drafted. A common foot solider, he'd fight in many, many battles, fighting from mid war to end. It wasn't until much later on that he got his nickname: Spider. In a sudden change of orders, he went from being a solider to a sorta of 'assassin', though he did request extra pay of course. He was now the guy who invented traps for targets and was then told to kill them. Do to his mastery at traps, deceiving skill, and skill in killing targets fast, he was given the nickname Spider.

As the war went on he killed many a man and of course the war ended and he went home to celebrate. Unlike other soldiers, he didn't have a family to come home to, each member dying for entirely different reasons. Most of his days during this time were spent partying with random people do to having no one to hang out with. Unlike most people Takeshi wasn't really sad or mad about having no one, just moving on with his life and having fun.

Eventually he was the star of his town the guy everyone could get along with, except the law. Until 1929, his town had no police, do to their being literally no crime in the area. In 1929 the law came do to one 'drunk idiot' who drove to the next county and crashed into someone, do to drinking being illegal at the time. Almost all was taken except the ones he hid.

He served them illegally in his house for a long time until some 'goodie too shoes' ratted him out. After all of it being confiscated, Takeshi lost the one thing that he had in common with everyone, love for alcohol and parties. He withdrew until someone actually invited him to a party, which sadly would be his last in the world of the living. In the middle of the party, a truck of gang members did a drive by and one of those bullets happened to go through his chest.

His spirit floated from his body, a strange chain attached to it, him looking at his corpse. Somehow, not even this phased him, and he moved on with his afterlife. He would roam the earth for years before, unfortunately, a hole in his chest became whole, his spirit chain destroying its self.

Takeshi was now a hollow, mindless, instinctive, only wanting more souls. It wouldn't be until he consumed another Hollow that he would start to develop a personality. This personality was a cruel man who made games out of peoples' lives. For years he'd literally make obtaining food into games, cheating so that he could always win.

Eventually, there came the Fifty Year War, and even Takeshi's Hollow had a part in this. Unlike many who targeted humans for food and randomly at that, Takeshi wanted the finer things. He targeted casinos for his wealth, high class bars for their booze, and the family that owned one of the largest mansions in his area.

The complicated scheme would unfold. First he would consume the entire family that owned the Casino, leaving no next of kin to own it. On top of that, he would take all of the money, fleeing to Hueco Mundo, to feast and wait out the authorities. When he returned, he would make a deal with a man, he bought the casino with money slowly given to him, owned it, and was Takeshi's Hollow's figure head. In exchange, a portion of the money went to him, and his hollow didn't just kill him right there. Over the year he would slowly give the man pieces of the money, as well as have a few other sources of income, such as getting people to do bank robberies to get MORE money, and then consuming them to leave no loose ends. Eventually they got enough money to buy the high class casinos from the bank before they destroyed it.

His new casino drew many in, being the highest of all Casinos in the areas. Rumors would spread that fewer came out than in, but most would dismiss them as just that, rumors. Sadly these rumors were true. A select few who entered the Casino were offered a secret game: one were they risked life and death. The moto of the game: You've seen the afterlife anyways, why not risk the current one for some money? Most took it, and those who didn't were drugged. The games, like his past ones, were always rigged for him to win, and for ten years he'd consume millions of unlucky gamblers.

However, ten years after these events, he would meet his end. While on his way to leave for Hueco Mundo, a squad of five shinigami would try to stop him. However, it would not be the simple. Again his powers would surface: it was time to gamble. Each was given their own game to play, and each was rigged to make their participant loose.

First was a standard combat squad member, cocky, brash, melee fighter. So the answer was simple, beat the opponent in a sparing match. However, if shinigami used anything above its sealed form, they would be disqualified and die. His opponent however, a copy of himself, was allowed to use Shikai, although it was a perversion of his. What used to be a shikai that increased his own strength became a shikai that decreases the strength of anyone he hit. As the fight went down, the Shinigami had no choice but to use shikai, summoning ten more copies, all attacking at once and crippling him, allowing his hollow to come in and consume the shinigami.

The second one was Kido user, with a preference for Hadō. Always calm, always cool. So the answer was simple, have her try to melt the 'ice' in the room. However the ice wasn't ice, merely altered glass, that reflected her kido back at her. Thus with an attempt at Hadō Number Thirty Four: Shot of Red Fire, it was asborbed and reflected, burning half of her body off, leaving Takeshi's hollow to consume the remains.

The third one was a healer, the medic. Simple, but unique. A clone of her teammate, specifically the closest one, the kido user. The girl was injured and the medic needed to cure her of a poison she was infected with, which was faked. She also had to do so using one of the two bottles in the room, one labeled cure, one labeled poison. the one she didn't use would be injected into herself. Assuming the hollow was lying, she injected herself with the cure, and the copy of her teammate with the poison. In reality, both were poisons, killing the copy, and killing her slowly, giving Takeshi's hollow time to consume when she was weakened.

The fourth was a Hakuda user, who was given a simple boxing match, Both with gloves, only his enemy, a copy of himself, had metal hidden in his gloves, allowing him to beat the user within an inch of his life. The Hakuda, unable to move, stayed down for the ten count, and was consumed by Takeshi's hollow afterwards.

Assuming this next person, this strange silver eyed girl was another melee fighter, from the vague description she gave him of her fighting abilities, he had her do the same thing as the Hakuda user, only when the metal hit her, it did nothing. Infact, the metal dented. Thus she was the only to win her fight. How he wondered, how could that had been possible. Of course, while he was wondering, he was punched in the face. Somehow she was twice as hard and strong as normal shinigami. She beat him within an inch of his life with her fists, before shoving a blade through his skull, purifying him. Nothing was explained, he was just smacked with the hilt of the Zanpakutō, and appeared in a strange new world.

After some asking around, he found out that this was his new home, the Soul Society. Here he lived peacefully for twenty years, gambling and having fun. Eventually he became bored, everything becoming repetitive, and boring. In his normal gambling area, he heard someone bring up some entrance exam to get into the Gotei 13. He then started to strike up a conversation with them, finding out all he could. After about hearing about it, he decided to join the Gotei 13 to spice up his life.

At the entrance exam, he showed his reiatsu, which was certainly above average. He also showed his military training, which placed him in the first class. Joining, he would train in the academy for six years. In his classes with Hoho he would show a slightly above average speed than most students. In Kido, he showed a slight knack for Bakudo, and placed average with Hadō. In his Zanjutsu class, he was below average, being one of the lowest of his class. However he excelled in Hakuda, being one of the top members of the class. When he passed his class, he joined the combat corps.

Several months he would fight hollow and demons and anything else he was payed to do. Along these fights he would hear the voice of a female, trying to talk to him. On his fifth battle of fourth month, he finally heard the voice fully, as if right next to him. A woman's hand touched his shoulder, smiling, looking at the hollow infront of them that the others were having a hard time with.

The woman laughed and explained who she was: his Zanpakutō spirit: Kuon no Megami. Basically, she was gonna give him a badass coat, and end this fight quicker, all he had to do was say her name. Saying the card's name, his overcoat was replaced with one that more fit his time period. He found five cards in both hands. A straight flush, five through ten in each hand, one diamonds, one spades. Hearing here give a brief explanation of the cards, she told him to throw the right hand, as the spades would go the farthest, and do to it being straight, could track the target. Throwing the cards, the beast was killed, the mask split into five pieces. Returning it to sealed form, he sent the spirit back, and headed home with the others.

The next few weeks were spent meditating and learning about his Zanpakutō. The spirit Kuon no Megami explained that he would know her better as lady luck. His shikai powers were, in a sense, a manifestation of his love for gambling. Not asking anymore questions, Takeshi asked about her. Soon they found their personalities mirrored each others. The two greatly enjoyed each others company, and have ever since.

IV. Equipment


» Equipment:

Kikanshinki: the Kikanshinki is now a small device which can generate large plumes of smoke. It can be attached to any sort of equipment or clothing which a Shinigami has on them. After taking the appropriate measures to prevent themselves from being affected by this smoke, a user in question can enhance this smoke with their spiritual energy in order to cover a large area of land. If this smoke is inhaled by the target, then they may lose conscious and wake up later with a new memory. This can be useful against unruly opponents or if they need to keep their presence and information top secret during a mission.

A standard Gigai

(left palm)Gokon Tekkō V2: This is a device which forcibly removes the Soul from the body. In the early stages of this gadget, it was originally taken in the form of a gauntlet. Though, with the advancements in the past four hundred years, it can now be infused into a willing Shinigami participant's hand and can be mentally summoned in the form of a red glow across their hand. Once this brilliant light is flourished across a Shinigami's hand, they are then able to attempt to remove a soul from a target's body. Rather it be an Arrancar, a Ziamichi or even a Vizard in some instances. This isn't absolute in nature, as depending on the subject in question, it may or may not be effective. Such as if they were able to formulate some sort of internal barrier before they had a chance to enact this ability, or if they simply moved out of the way before they could get injured by it. And, varying by how strong the target is, they may be even able to halve or null the damage with their spiritual energy alone as well.

Jigokuchō: Otherwise known as Hell Butterflies, The Jigokucho serve a large multitude of purposes. When once is summoned by a Shinigami, they'll appear completely black, expect for a small outline of maroon along their lower wings. They are utilized in order to guide the Shinigami through various portal's which are made possible in the 25th century if they have not a good idea of the general area they are travelling to. Though, more commonly, they are used to guide the Shinigami inside the paths of a Senkaimon when travelling between the Soul Society and other realms; saving them the inconvenience of generally having to resort other methods of interdimensional travel or being forced to pass through the Dangai. Hell Butterflies are also used in order to swiftly and almost instantly warp important messages to loved ones, allies and sometimes even foes as a warning. And, for the most part, these creatures are often taken care of by new and inexperienced member in the Seireitei. Lastly, much like Shinigami themselves, Jigokuchō are only visible to spiritually aware beings.

Special Sheathe: Takeshi had a special sheathe made for his Zanpakutō as its sealed state was far to big for him to carry in small areas. As such whenever the blade is sheathed by this sheathe, it is forcibly formed into a standard katana like Zanpakutō.

V. Racial Techniques/Abilities/Skills


» Racial Abilities:

» Hoho:
Beginner Level: At this stage Takeshi cann't use it for long or many times in a row. As such this sticks to using to to move around an opponent and punch them from behind.

Adept Level: At this stage, Takeshi can do both one long step or several short steps close together. As far as the long one he can use it to add momentum to a single strike, while when doing the short ones, he can appear behind an opponent and just before he is about to strike, shunp to their other side and hit them there.

Advanced Level: Takeshi at this stage can use his Shunpo easily, and use it any number of ways. While he doesn't have advanced techniques, the raw speed and the period of time he can use that speed is not something to be taken lightly.

Master Level: At this point Shunpo is as easy as breathing to Takeshi. He takes Flash Steps as if they were normal ones and can even use advanced techniques, like after images and clones.

Grand Master Level: Shunpo to the highest level, Takeshi now seems to teleport. When moving he disappears from the naked eye, only appearing when he is about to strike. His strikes are numerous in quick succession and his arms can seem to disappear until the attack is finished. Takeshi has full control over his Shunpo now and has access to many strange and crazy techniques.

» Kidō: Beginner: Takeshi is average. He can cast the lower level ones (1-10) without worry but any higher and...well he's lucky if it doesn't explode in his face. He cann't use them rapidly.

Adept: He's better. He doesn't have to worry about Kido blowing up in his face anymore. He can use them rapidly, and well. Such an example of this would be Takeshi using Push to propel himself when he cann't use Hoho/ when Hoho isn't enough. He has started showing a preference for Bakudo.

Advanced: He's pretty damn good. He can fire off any Kido he can learn without worry, and when it comes to lower ones without incantations. While he hasn't come up with any custom ones, he still shouldn't be taken lightly when it comes to Kido.

Master: He's great. He can use a large number of Kido and most of them without incantations. He can combine Kido together to combine their effect (ex: Crawling Rope and Bound Lightning to bind and electrocute his target) as well as rapidly fire off single kidos. He can even make his own Kido, which he mostly uses to add effects to his Hakuda. (a sorta shite mimicry of Shunko, no where near the actual thing. its sorta like Raikiri from Naruto or Toph putting rocks over her fist) He knows nearly every Bakudo, and several Hadō.

Grand Master: Honestly surprised he got here. Not impossible just didn't think it would happen. Any and all kido are now capable of being used without incantation, and out of reflex. He knows nearly every Kido, kowing about 80% of the Hadō branch and 100% of the Kido Branch. He can fire off most non forbidden Kido rapidly, without incantation of course.

» Zanjutsu: Beginner: He can swing a blade like a solider in World War I...congrats so can everyone else here. While by 1920s standards, he has a great stance! By the standards of modern shinigami....he sucks. He has holes and puts too much effort into his strikes, most of his energy wasted.

Adept: He's okay. He's no longer easily knocked around by any other sword used, but he's by no means abover average. His reflexes and speed are much better, being able to block most attacks of the same level, and he no longer wastes energy on swings, putting all of it into the actual hit.

Advanced: MUCH better. He can block most attacks coming his way and the force of his attacks are extremely well directed. He can unleash it in a huge wave to destroy a large portion of a city, or turn it into a focused drilling thrust. He can cut through equal level defenses in one swing. Aditionally this opens up the hearts suit in his Zanpakutō's sealed form, allowing him to heal with his sword.

Master: He made it! Do not underestimate him. With one swing and a tap from the hilt he can decapitate a mountain, send the part he cut into the air and then crash it back down on top of mountain. He can break through defenses of equal rank and damage those using them. He can even cut spiritual energy attacks like Kido Cero and Quincy arrows. At this stage this opens up the use of the Clubs in his Zanpakutō's sealed form, creating two clones of his sword which can attack seperate of Takeshi.

Grand Master: How did he get here? Whatever, at this point Takeshi has pulled a Lee, turning his weakness into a force to NEVER be taken lightly. Him and his weapon have become one, literally. On his right hand he has a permanant black 'glove' bound to his skin. At this stage any buffs his suits would give his blade, they will give him. Spades increases his strength, daimonds increases his durability, Hearts heals him constantly (not only working like a weakened regneration ability but also freezing him at the physical age he is at), and clubs creates two clones of him. There are few things he cannot cut through with his blade, and he can reduce entire cities to rubble with a powerful swing of his blade.

» Hakuda: Beginner: Takeshi can fight well drunk..thats about it. Otherwise he is slow compared to everyone else. His stance is good, but he's just not used to fighting among Shinigami and Hollows yet.

Adept: Takeshi's talent is starting to show. Bricks are shattered by punches and he can punch faster, stronger, and move swifter as far as dexterity.

Advanced: Takeshi is now showing his skill in hand to hand combat. He can destroy entire streets witha forward punch, and can break equal defenses. His speed and control is esspecially starting to show, being capable of unleashing multiple attacks in succession, and focusing the force of his attacks into two fingers. He can even flip giants over his shoulder with ease.

Master: Takeshi is nearing the peak of his potential in this case. This is the combat he is most comfortable with and it shows. Defenses of equal level shatter in his wake, and if you don't have some defensive ehancement, Takeshi may just go through you. Craters are made when he punches the ground and a chop can literally cut. He can run straight at an opponent and deal a large amount of powerful hits before knocking them away.

Grand Master: His maxium in Hakuda. His body is at the pinacle of health and ability. Attacks now alter the landscape and his speed and strength make any and all attacks deadly. Spiritual attacks mean nothing, as he can now either destroy them, or grab them and throw them back at you. Of course his own strength canont be used constantly without his body tearing itself apart. Either way, with his own hands, he is far beyond what one would call a demon.

VI. Sealed Powers


» Zanpakutô Name: Kuon no Megami
Zanpakutō Translation: Lady Luck

» Zanpakutô Appearance: The sword: The handle is of course the same material with as the rest with black wrapping around it and the handle having four spikes on the part that connects the handle and blade. He had the sheath modified by the 12th squad since in its sealed form Takeshi had a hard time carrying it around in small places. In its true form, it, is, massive, the handle its self being the size of what one would expect for a spear, while the blade is twice as tall as him. While it is weightless to him like all shinigami, his main problem getting to fit anywhere. He actually rarely uses it, do to preferring his shikai and hand to hand combat.

The spirit:
Lady Luck is an 18 year old girl physically. She has long blonde hair that flows down to her mid back, that is like silk. She wears a strapless dress that is mostly red, staying read until it hits her hip area, where it turns white, each part of the dress having a different suit on it. The bottom of the dress is black with white frills lining it. She wears black silky gloves that stop at her mid shoulder, and white pantyhose, her feet having black heels. She also has a headband on her head that has a small queen's crown on it.

» Sealed Zanpakutô Power: In its sealed form, Takeshi can utilize two of his "Suits." When using Diamonds, his blade and body itself become stronger, as if he was wearing armor. During this time a red diamond will appear on the tip of the blade. When using spades, his blade becomes sharper, being able of cutting more than usual, while he himself becomes stronger, in the most literal sense. When this happens his hilt gains sever spades on the side, back, and front.

VII. Shikai


» Shikai Release Phrase: Lay your bets.

» Shikai Appearance: To put it simply, it makes his sleevless vest into a full on overcoat. The entire coat is made of a fabric like substance but is the equivlancy of wearing a Zanpakutō on your torso and arms. The white part of the sleeves are capable of shooting metal cards (also treated as Zanpakutō metal, cause other wise this would suck for vs hollow combat) similar to a machine gun. All cards have a emblem on the back that substitute Shinigami badge despite not being one.

» Shikai Abilities: While shooting the cards, they have no unique effects.

When having a hand of cards, each suit has a certain ability: Clubs split into three different cars, one attacking form above, and two from the sides. Hearts: heal a teammate, similar to Kaido. Spades: simply put are the strongest card in power alone. Diamonds: for each diamond card KEPT in hand, he is twice as durable as before. Then there is a joker, a strange card. he can only have two active at a time, and they basically are a raw power boost to any targets. If he uses one on himself he gains a minor stat boost, while others gain a large stat boost. Additionally he can rig any one card to explode. He also has a multitude of unique moves he can perform depending on if he has a specific hand or not.

0. Gone Wild
By sacrificing one of his jokers for a whole thread (thus only having one active at a time afterwards) he turns four of kind into five of a kind, the suit simple called "wild". The cards multiply into twenty cards, all of which explode into five cards each, which explode into another five, ect. this can be kept up as long as Takeshi has energy.

1. Royal flush
Takes the effect of the suit that make sit up quadruples it, as well as effecting three targets. Ex: if he has a Royal Flush of Spades, the usual increase in power would be quadrupled, and hit three enemies. If he used it with Clubs, they would split into twelve cards for each enemy he targets. If he used hearts, the healing power would be quadrupled, and effect three allies of his choosing. If he holds a Royal Flush of Diamonds in his hand his durability is quadrupled as are two allies.

2. Straight flush
The cards are aimed at a target and track until they hit something, at which points they will either cut through or explode. the effect must be decided BEFORE he throws. If he does not decide (ex doing it out of reflex) it defaults to cut.

3. Four of a kind
The effects of one card our of the three are tripled in strength. Ex: a hand with four nines. If the heart is used, the cards heal thrice of what they usually would. If the Spade is used, all of the cards hit trice as hard as they normally would, along with the normal strength boost. If the club is used, it splits into Nine cards. A diamond would stay in the hand with the other cards and triple durability. (the diamond must stay in hand to increase durability, taking up the use other other cards)

4. Full house
The cards create a barrier around the target's front, sides, and above. This can only be used to keep things out, and the person may leave the barrier if they will it. It can stop three physical attacks or three spiritual attacks.

5. Flush
The suit that makes up the Flush takes effect on multiple targets, up to ten. Ex: if he has a flush diamonds, him and up to ten targets get a durability increase. If he has a flush of spades up to ten targets get a more powerful attack thrown at them. If he has a flush of Clubs ten enemies get three cards sent at them. If its a flush of hearts of to ten people get healed.

6. Straight
The cards move twice as quick, BUT only in a straight line. Think Lille Barro's X-Axis power, except instead of destroying anything its just thrown twice as fast as it usually would be thrown.

7. Three of a kind
The effects of one card our of the three are doubled in strength. Ex: a hand with three nines, a club, a spade, and a heart. If the heart is used, the cards heal twice of what they usually would. If the Spade is used, all of the cards hit twice as hard as they normally would, along with the normal strength boost. If the club is used, it splits into SIX cards.

8. Two pair
the amounts of cards are doubled, along with the same effect of Pair. ex: if he throws a two pair, a two sixes and two duces, whatever suits makes up the two pairs (hearts, diamonds, spades, you get the drill at this point) all of the cards follow those buffs. Additionally the total number of cards are double what they were when thrown.

9. Pair
The effect of the two cards that make up the pair are mirrored on the other cards. ex: a pair of twos, one a club and the other a spade causes all of the cards to be stronger offensively and split into three.

10. High Card
all cards are set to explode.

VIII. Bankai Powers


» Bankai Appearance: In bankai, his physical appearance and Zanpakutō do not change, the only difference is that he now has 52 mirrors floating around him at all times. The size of the mirrors can change.

» Bankai Abilities: in bankai, Takeshi can use these mirrors in many strange ways, the powers usually linked to the nature of mirrors. Some examples are:

52 Pick Up: Mirage: The Mirrors float around a target, or group of targets, before becoming the size of mirrors used to see the whole body. This forms a barrier with no gaps big enough for anything but a fly (or card) to get through. The mirrors reflect him all around everyone. It is impossible to tell the difference between each one, and this confuses the enemy and fools the senses of the opponent. The reflections themselves all lag two seconds behind his actual movements, further discombobulating the enemy.

Fifty Two Pick Up: Inverse Image: A mirror targets a person that Takeshi can see. This then makes an image of a target, be it him, a teammate or an opponent. The mirror first forms a normal image of the person, then becomes inverted in color. The image then becomes a physical being as the mirror shatters, the fragments disappearing into nothingness. The abilities of this person are now reversed. EX: A Kido Corps member would fight like a Combat Corps member, a hollow's hierro would become Regeneration, you get the picture.

Fifty Two Pick Up: Mirrored World: All of the mirrors create copies of Takeshi. While these Takeshi's cannot fight, they all do have linked vision, leaving Takeshi with few blind spots.

Fifty Two Pick Up: Reflect: moving a mirror infront of a spiritual attack, the mirror begins to ripple, and the attack is absorbed and sent back. This only works with spiritual attacks, as physical attacks will easily break it.

Fifty Two Pick Up: Shattered World: Takeshi can forcibly break his mirrors into shards of glass, and then either keep them as shards, or reform them into any shape he wishes.

Fifty Two Pick Up: Shift: Takeshi can step into one mirror and reappear outside another.

» Roleplay Sample: Like last time, quality changes depending on mood

» Kagaku traveled with the group, though he was slightly behind the rest. Not because he was slow, heck he was the lightest person there, but he was a bit side tracked. He was collecting various plant samples as they went along, be it close to the ground or in the trees. Sure he could pay for them later, but it was much cheaper to just grab some and put them in jars. Luckily for him his extremely light body and above-average normal strength allowed him to keep up with the others, or at least Shoumen. Kagaku, though his face didn't show it, was very excited. Not only is he getting multiple samples of plants were indigenous to this region, but he'd finally get to see the Hideaki hijutsu in action. He had always been curious about their strange ink based abilities. Shoumen also had more tatoos than the average Hideaki, which made him all the more interesting. Unlike many other scientists, Kagaku had no interest in the Nibi Jinchuuriki. He had seen multiple in his decades of living. He knew of their speed, fire, and cat like attitude. Kagaku had learned all the data he was capable of learning without cutting one open, and none of them were willing so it didn't matter to him.

Kagaku had his familiars with him on this mission, well the fast ones at least. Do to the environment that meant everyone but Tsuchi. Esper, Eve, and Raiden had all split up to look for ingredients. Raiden checking the trees, while Esper and Even stayed together and covered a wider area on the ground with Kagaku. Nami was checking under water for ingredients, as well as keeping an eye out for predators. Each had their own way to avoid damage. Both Raiden and Esper could sense what was going on around them, and Raiden and Eve could out run anything there on land. Nami of course had the advantage of her camouflage and natural speed in the water. Esper could likely outrun most animals and those that could outrun her would be beaten by her nimbleness and human intelligence. Kagaku had nothing to worry about.

When they arrived at the bog, Kagaku watched the jinchuuriki show off. The look on his face showed he couldn't be less interested. He turned towards Shoumen to finally speak throughout this journey. "You go next, I still have to gather ingredients.", He said, before picking up some flowers and placing them in jars. He would go last, and likely the easiest way: riding on the back of Nami. True it was hard, but for barely any chakra at all he could be glued to her back while she swam him across the bog. Of course he would wait until Shoumen was across, at which point the rest of his familiars would arrive. Eve would hop on Kagaku's shoulder and ride with him, while Raiden would get just stay in a near by tree. Esper would hop along the longs and rocks with her cat like body, making it across without so much as a drop of water on her.

I apologize for the delay in this profile. I'm going to be handling it today.

So, to begin, there are a few problems:


The woman laughed and explained who she was: his Zanpakutō spirit: Kuon no Megami. Basically, she was gonna give him a badass coat, and end this fight quicker, all he had to do was say her name. Saying the card's name, his overcoat was replaced with one that more fit his time period. He found five cards in both hands. A straight flush, five through ten in each hand, one diamonds, one spades. Hearing here give a brief explanation of the cards, she told him to throw the right hand, as the spades would go the farthest, and do to it being straight, could track the target. Throwing the cards, the beast was killed, the mask split into five pieces. Returning it to sealed form, he sent the spirit back, and headed home with the others.

The next few weeks were spent meditating and learning about his Zanpakutō. The spirit Kuon no Megami explained that he would know her better as lady luck. His shikai powers were, in a sense, a manifestation of his love for gambling. Not asking anymore questions, Takeshi asked about her. Soon they found their personalities mirrored each others. The two greatly enjoyed each others company, and have ever since.

It is not certain that you will receive a shikai. So do not be surprised if you end up having to omit that part in your history. This is because staff members will determine if your profile will receive the release or not.

» Racial Abilities:

» Hoho:
Adept Level: Takeshi has a heavy use of Shunpo. In combat he uses it in short burst to either increase his attacking speed, give a lariat a VERY long and fast hitting range, or to quickly move behind his opponent and kick.


» Kidō: Adept: Takeshi is...adequate when it comes to Kido. He mostly uses them when his fists or blade alone won't work. He has a preference for Bakudo, but can use Hadō as well.

» Zanjutsu: Beginner: The one field in which Takeshi sucks: Zanjutsu. While he is strong and fast, he lacks form and more often than not leaves many holes in his form, and wastes energy in attacks. To quote him: the only reason he carries the blade is because he likes the Shikai, the spirit, and that he NEEDS it to purifiy Hollows.

» Hakuda: Advanced: the one field currently that Takeshi excels in, Takeshi is a powerful fist fighter. He is disciplined, and can flip men three times his own size over his shoulder with ease. He clearly favors speed over power, but his power is no joke. He even can fight well while drunk, his style mostly down on muscle memory.

I wouldn't say you have beginner/adept/advanced in anything since you aren't approved. Instead, I would write out how each ability would potentially function on each different skill level. Then, based on the tier you get, you will be able to choose your tiers according to the quote below:

The Rules For Skill Sheets


Grand Master : This is a new level only available to those of 0-3 to 0-1 tier levels. This is a level to set apart the Masters from the truly Extreme Perfectionist of their skill traits. If you intend to have a Grand Master, it needs to be HIGHLY related to a characters skill. For example, Shadin Yuudeshi is a Grand Master in both his General Speed and Hoho because he's trained so much in that one area. Another example of this would be Kenpachi Zaraki or Radioactive having their Grand Masters in Strength for obvious reasons. Do keep in mind, however, there can only be up to two Grand Master's in general for your characters application. We MAY allow three depending on the circumstance, but it, just like Grand Masters in general, needs to be HIGHLY related.

Tier 0: In each section 0 tier is only allowed one master; however, there can be exceptions where they have two. If someone has more then this in each section, they are grounds for removal or transfer of that skill somewhere else. Apart from that, a 0 tier can have three advanced.

Tier 1: 1 tier is allowed two advanced. Though, in some cases and special circumstances, certain 1 tiers have been allowed some masters in their application. Along with that, the rest of their sheet may be adept or beginner.

Tier 2: Normally 2 Tier is allowed 1 Advanced with two Adept's. It will not be uncommon, however, to see a few 2 tiers here or there with two advanced in one section depending on the circumstance.

Tier 3: Tier 3's are allowed up to two to three adept for each section. But, just like the others, if the person works hard enough or depending on the case, they may have one advance if they work hard enough.

Tier 4: Tier 4 is allowed up to one adept for each skill section with the possibility of having two adepts in some cases.

Tier 5: Tier 5 is only allowed all beginners unless a staff member states otherwise when grading the application.

Exceptions: Please note, like with everything, there are exceptions to the rules. So, with that in mind, admins or certain staff members admins appoint can sometimes give a 5 tier an advanced skill level depending on the case. So not EVERYTHING is set-in stone.

Add more detail. You say it effects targets, so are you using this as an enhancement ability for his allies?

Ya should add more detail than a single sentence here much like the advise I gave you with the first flush. It seems lacking to me and there isn't much information to go on.

The same applies to the ones listed below

10. High Card
all cards are set to explode.

On ten, you should describe how strong the explosion is. I would base this off of possible tiers he would have.

4 tiers would be capable of small room to city small building level at 4-1. With outliners being able to destroy city blocks

3 tiers are capable of multi-city block levels.

2 tiers have the potential to begin influencing small portions of a town of being destroyed.

1 tiers could begin entering into the level of towns or small cities

And the lower end of 0 tiers are capable of mid city destruction all the way to moutain/island level at the higher end. With a few outliners having country effecting abilities.

I would not focus on 0 tier outlines for this ability as I doubt he'd be near there anytime soon.

I would also like to see a 2,000 word RP sample of him attaining his shikai that is added into the profile to further gauge your skill. I would also like to see a combat example up to 1,000 to 2,000 words.

You should create what type of techniques/abilities he'd be able to do at different skill levels since you do not fill out his skill sheet. You only fill those out after the character has been approved.

Master: etc
Grand Master: etc etc"
