Mirja seemed to have surprised Beetle with the kiss, her face going a deep red and her arms snapping down to the side as if she could not think of any other action. So Mirja decided to use this time to try and get through to the girl with some words on top of the action. "I like you, Beetle. In a month or two I may even fall in love with you, if this continues. Your presence is something I enjoy more than most things in life. So believe me when I said that I want you to give me all you are, I was not joking. I want to have you, all to myself. As a friend, as a Pet, and maybe even as a lover if things go the right way" Mirja said, stroking Beetle's cheek and hoping it would get though. She was terribly oblivious at times.
She seemed embarrassed, her cheeks flushed and her hand scratching the back of her head. It wasn't something to be overly worried about, to be honest. It was after all, an embarrassing situation for Beetle. She had missed every social cue, and so this appeared out of nowhere for her. But the girl recovered pretty well and slid around Mirja's back, to leap up, like the cutest backpack ever created. The move gave Mirja an idea. If she could work out a specific footwork pattern, she could make a technique that would slip around a person's defenses and appear at their back in an instant. She'd need to be very quick, but Mirja was very quick, so all that she needed now was some practice on the theory.
"Hey, you aren't going to learn anything if I carry you. But, fine, I'll take you there, if only so you know your way back, and don't get lost. Now hold on, my Dove. This isn't going to be your usual stroll through the woods" She said, going through the doorframe since there was no door to open, and then crouching down and preparing. "Ready?" Mirja asked, making sure to give Beetle all the warning she could need before setting off. "Ok. Go!" Mirja took off like a wolfish bullet, flying across the Tundra with incredible speed, even with Beetle on her back. It was a little harder to run with a girl on her back, but it was nice training, and good bonding for the girl. She would probably be freezing by the time she got to the city, with the wind-chill factor and the general cold of Norway, coupled with the fact that Beetle didnt seem to be wearing and sort of arctic clothing to compensate for the sub-zero temperature.
Unfortunately, they did not see any Yetis on the way to the city, something that would have been really cool, but Mirja doubted they even existed at this point. She had never really seen one anywhere, and she had looked very hard. Snow was blown away by Mirja's running, as if she and Beetle combined into a great Snowplow to clean a rut through the Norweigen tundra. However, even at Mirja's speed, it would take them a while to get to the City, and Beetle's hands would probably be very chilly by that point, but Mirja didn't want to assume anything, so as they got to the outskirts of the village, and she slowed down to a stop, she looked behind to make sure Beetle was still in one piece.
Mirja stopped Beetle from rubbing her hands together after feeling them, and shook her head softly. "You shouldn't do that to warm your hands up when they are this temperature. It has to be slow and gentle, or it will cause a sort of swelling in your joints that will cause agonizing pain for a few minutes. And I don't want to see you in pain" She said, taking her hand and leading her to a shop. She made no mention that she had heard Beetle's request for a favor, but it wasn't like Mirja to just ignore her, so it could be assumed she had already accepted the fact that she was going to do Beetle that favour when they got back.
Once they were in the shop - a strange shop that was warmer than outside but not warm. Slightly above cold - she took Beetle to the front and gestured to her. "I need a snow suit for her" She told the guy at the front, who nodded and went into the back room. "I'm glad you think my running was amazing. With your strength you could do it too with a bit of training. That was really all it was, my muscles acting as a very powerful propellant to reach subsonic velocity. I can do supersonic speeds, but I didn't know how well you could hold on from that, and supersonic is pretty eerie as well" she rambled before the man came back with the snow suit. It seemed to be a shiny black suit that would fit tightly to Beetle's skin and cover every inch of her, excluding her head.
"So, this should help you not freeze to death in the tundra. Lovely what technology can do for you these days, huh?"
