Seireitei was in order, far as she knew or cared and Karakura Town wasn't apart of her duties; still, she stood high in the air just skirting the forest and looking over the town regardless. Her sword tucked into her obi as she seemed to struggle with something. She'd gotten a general pass to Karakura from an old professor in the Academy with only the explanation that she needed information. She hoped this wouldn't take long but she knew it wouldn't be short lived.

"Tch...what a pain."

Rubbing the back of her neck as she quieted her reiatsu best she could and used her Shunpo to cross a wider distance quickly.

She'd heard the stories of Urahara Kisuke from one of the other students who'd been hoping to get into the 12th Gotei. Apparently the man knew more about Shinigami than any other soul in Seireitei and Seika had questions.

Questions that the Academy couldn't or wouldn't answer. She needed to know about the nature of Soul Blades. Where they came from and if they could be...well, like hers. She'd done as much research as her brain could take but the fact was that she couldn't find anything that came even close.

Standing in the ally and looking at the Shoten. "Isn't this guy supposed t'be a genius? The fuck is he doin' sellin' candy..." Muttered to herself as she shook her head. How a man decided to live was no concern of hers. Stepping forward and towards the open doors.

It was evening, but only just. The skies were still streaked with pinks and light purples that mixed in with the ever darkening blues and blacks. A chill breeze tried to swirl the snow that still clung to the ground, but most was too compacted to be so easily drifted.

"Here goes nothin'."

Mayonaka made his way to Kisuke Urahara's shop. He was curious about some products. They seemed to be unobtainable in Soul Society, but it was quite possible the great scavenger Urahara had them in his shop. It seemed he had almost everything. He even had things for humans in his shop, such as candy and the like. For such a normal looking nonchalant shop, he sure had a lot of merchandise. Though he supposed it was better if Urahara's shop was nonchalant. If it attracted too much attention, then questions might be asked. For somebody like Kisuke Urahara, that would almost certainly prove to be bad.

Perhaps while he was inside the shop, he could strike up a conversation with the shopkeeper. Urahara was said to know many things, you never knew what you could learn from him. It could be interesting to learn some new interesting tidbit of information from the brain of the supposed genius.

The pills that the fourth division used to completely restore their spiritual energy intrigued Mayonaka. They would not freely give those out though, unless you had some very good friends within the division who would share some with you. Which Mayonaka did not have. So he thought that he might try the shop that had nearly everything, Urahara's Shop.

Mayonaka also thought back to the conversation he had had with Victor. It was quite possible that he might one day find himself leaving the Gotei 13 to pursue his goals on his own. If he ever did that, he would want to have a contact with Urahara. Urahara would be able to help him. From him he could get a decent Gigai, some very helpful words of wisdom... maybe even a bit of training, if he asked nice enough. All for the right price as well.

His thoughts drifted to Sadaharu Ibaraki, the Ex-Captain Vizard. The Vizored were powerful, and not all were specifically evil, even if they had Hollow within themselves. If the time ever came that Mayonaka found himself leaving Soul Society and the Gotei 13 for good, he would put a lot of consideration into attempting to become one of the Vizored. He didn't quite know how that process went about, but he would find out and decide whether or not he wanted to go through with it. Something told him Kisuke Urahara would be able to tell him how to go about becoming a Vizard.

Rounding the final corner before coming up to the shop, Mayonaka looked upon the ordinary shop. "I wonder if he is as great as they say." he thought to himself, before walking towards the entrance.

Seika stopped in her tracked when she felt the presence of another Shinigami in the area. Since she couldn't sense much from the Shoten. She looked over her shoulder at the alley now behind her. Those keen yellow eyes narrowing a bit before she turned her head to the doors.

She could heard the clop-clop-clopping of Urahara's sandals. Dammit, she was all bluster until just now. She didn't want to really go into detail around some random Shinigami come to pick up who knows what from this man. "Yoh..." Said in rather crude way of introduction to the doors. Since they still hadn't opened.

"I am Seika from Soul Society...recently graduated from the Academy. I..." Another glance though now she was able to see Mayo and rather obviously sized the man up. "I came here to ask you a few questions about Zanpakutou...none in the Academy could give me answers and I was told of a man here named Urahara Kisuke who may be able to."

Her hands stuffed into her pockets as she stepped aside with a side-long glance to Mayo, allowing him to do...whatever. She didn't have a clue any of the etiquette here. She only knew the Rukongai and even then she only knew the lower Districts that killed more people than anything else.

A hand is raked through her hair as she watches Mayo with those strange eyes of hers.

Another Shinigami was at the shop... that could be troublesome to him. If Mayonaka bought anything strange or asked any curious questions of Urahara, it was possible that this other Shinigami would tell others back in Soul Society what had happened within Urahara's Shop. Mayonaka may one day defect from Soul Society, but he didn't want to be exiled quite yet. He might not even leave the 13. He could not so much as even hint at defecting or anything of the like in front of someone else though. He would need to come back at another time it would seem.

So as to avoid looking suspicious, Mayonaka did not turn and leave but kept walking towards the store, keeping his composure. He returned the other Shinigami's regard. Getting to the door of the shop, he stopped beside the door and looked to the female Shinigami. "After you." he said to her, allowing her to enter the shop before him.

Perhaps she had private business with Urahara as well. If that were the case, she would want him to be leaving. He would get his stuff and then leave, then come back at a later time. Smilling to the green clad man behind the counter, he greeted him.

"Hello, I take it you are Urahara. I hear you sell many useful things within your shop here."

Seika only looked at Mayo for a few moments when he held the door open for her. "Tch..." Sneering at the man before she turned and walked towards the alley that lead to the Shoten and raked a hand through her hair.

Suddenly no longer interested in getting her answers, at least not today.

Her form seemed to suddenly disappear with a Shunpo and she was gone.
