THE QUINCY PRODIGY

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

For at least month or so, Sofia had been having more issues than usual concentrating on his tasks. While it hadn’t gotten so bad to the point where it interfered in a dramatic level with her job or her training, it was at the very least, rather frustrating. Despite her best attempts to remain focused on the current projects within the Jagdarmee, her mind kept going back to the Quincy plight, and its more recent decisions and changes. From the looks of it, the time for upheaval was just beginning. While there was no concrete evidence, she just had a very firm hunch that even bigger changes were due to pass pretty soon. And, if her past hunches and observations were any indication, she was most likely right. The issue at hand however would be the nature of the changes, and the ideals the very individuals chosen to drive it through would carry along.

As it was, the Quincy prodigy already found herself at a divide. She found himself creating doubts within her mind in respect to the foundations on which she grounded her loyalty to her own organization. She was no traitor; quite far from it actually. With everything she had done up to that point, and the influence of her family in the past, one could even consider her an metaphorical martyr were she not still alive in a way. Sofia had dedicated her all to Soul Society. She had trained her own body and even helped her peers to increase the potential fighting ability of her division, and the Quincy as a whole. Through the labor of her mind, she had helped in creating and remodeling technology that continued to help the Quincy. She had been an instrumental driving force in the conflicts created by her kin, like the assault on Chicago. Unfortunately she was also a testament to what he saw as one of the many failures of the Quincy.

It was almost as if there was something strange within her, instigating her to think. There was some kind of force or agitation within her that encourage her to think, and in doing so continuously doubt the actions of her people. There was something within her continuously whispering into her ears that she could do better for herself and for most beings elsewhere, pursuing a path that though taboo and persecuted, would yield the most promising results despite its unorthodox nature. Regardless of the conflicting nature of her thoughts, the prodigy had chosen not to share her ideas or confide them with anyone. Due to the nature of her doubts, she could be doted as a traitor for even thinking like that. What's more, she could lose access to a lot of the data and the privileges she had at the moment. For the time being, she simply saw it best to deal with her imbalance of emotions on her own, and come to terms with something more concrete down the road, one way or another.

THE QUINCY PRODIGY

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

On a day seemingly like any other, Sofia found himself thinking about her current situation a bit more frequently than ever before. The voices in her mind rang louder and more convincing than they ever had been before.

“They’re a bunch of liars. Murderers. Hypocrites. You killed for them. Worthless. Worthless. Worthless!”

With every word in her head, it seemed to get louder and closer. Pressing her hands tightly against her ears, the prodigy tried her best to cancel out the noise as if it was coming from the outside. But alas, it did little to nothing to shut the voices that kept circulating throughout her head.

“Worthless. Worthless. Coward!”

Angered, Sofia would place her violin right next to her bed upon entering her room. Disrobing, she would jump into bed as quickly as she could as if the mere act of doing so would save her from the words that kept on assaulting her mind. While she had chosen not to speak to anyone about what was happening to her, it seemed as though sooner or later she would have no chance to. The issue remained however that picking someone trustworthy that wouldn’t turn her in for what seemed to be a crime was difficult. If perhaps she had spent less years training and with her nose stuck to her liking, perhaps she would have more friends to confide on. But alas, so was her life, and she would have to do with what she had.

Once in bed, the raven haired woman would close her eyes, and try her best to clear her mind. It was an attempt to fall asleep and to escape the voices that beseeched her. Perhaps once she had awoken, Sofia would have been past the momentary lapse in judgment she was experiencing. She had to wonder however, even if for a few brief minutes before going into slumber, the reason as to why her situation in her mind continued to deteriorate. Perhaps it was finally everything she had seen and done throughout the last few years catching up to her. Perhaps it had to do with the near death experience he had when confronting Goliath during the Chicago Incident. That grin and power of the Goliath Shell was never forgotten as she approached Sofia in the battlefield. Of course it could simply be her own subconscious playing tricks on her. Regardless, she needed to get a grip on reality and concentrate on the tasks she thought to be of most importance. Her ideas and believes aside however, Sofia would soon find herself facing against a very dark reality as soon as she opened his eyes, and find herself somewhere else other than her room.

THE QUINCY PRODIGY

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

When Sofia opened her eyes, she found herself within the confines of a rather odd looking area. Despite her recurrent times training and seeing dark areas as a result of the direction combat drove her into, she seemed to have spawned somewhere worse. Regardless, sleep was her way of escaping everything that seemed complicated or daunting while awake. After all, it had been years since she last recalled a dream or a nightmare, let alone one significant enough to remember. As so, they were the place she tried and accessed whenever she entered wished for deep meditation. It allowed her to clear her mind, and solve problems that had eluded her. Despite her not trying to enter her sleep meditation in this specific situation, perhaps it was the perfect time for it to happen despite the odd way in which it had chosen to present itself.

The sudden appearance of light figures within her dream was not the only cause for concern however. Upon closer inspection, her dream looked completely different than the typical pitch blackness that was usually common. There were bowls of light scattered around the a rather big tree that burned quite strong. Still the light was not sufficient to completely illuminate the room, but it was still sufficient to clearly see the important objects that were scattered around them. Sofia could see the large tree that extended upwards into what seemed to be the infinite ceiling that governed this world. A few things however were completely odd and seemingly without reason. For starters, through the seemingly impossible to reach windows of this world, the view seemed a stark contrast to the rest. Gone was the still night sky she had seen before her slumber. Instead, from within, she witnessed as a plethora of shooting stars and asteroids rained down on whatever lied past the confines of this dream. None of the shooting stars ever got close enough to her area however, and being a form of dream, she didn’t believe they ever would. Still, despite trying her best to look out for a few minutes, the cosmic rain was seemingly never ending, almost as if the cosmos was pouring down all its contents to the surrounding of its soul. In a way, the prodigy was as safe as she could ever be. Her dreams were, as some told, not too unlike the reflection of one’s soul, looking outwards from within in a semi trapped and momentary state of mind. But as she knew very well, even the soul would perish due to damage from within, so she had to be careful if other changes had happened within the confines of her dreams; and indeed, they had.

Throughout the branches of the tree, hanging skulls looked quite different than the norm and eerie. They looked a bit more sinister now, as they truly looked devoid of life. As she walked, Sofia was expecting them to turn to see her pass as they seemed as though they would. Alas, even as she walked past them, not a single one turned or gave any indication to show they were truly able to move. Even more disconcerting was the fact that she had not seen anyone approach her yet. Usually in dreams, she didn’t have to worry about finding an individual, since she’d usually be jumped on from some of the most unexpected places and by some of the most unexpected individuals. This time however, the presence of something other than herself in her dream though welcomed, was also somewhat missed.

There was however one more item within her dream that had managed to catch her interest. At the back of the tree, she could see one lone door. The door was not resting on any surface, and neither was it placed against a wall. As such, it seemed to balance on its own out of some sort of mystical device that was quite simply beyond her comprehension. But, since her dream most often behaved and followed rules that were not always in congruence to those of the real world, she tried not to mull too much over it. The main task at hand was to figure out why her dream seemed so different, and more importantly, to find a way out of it and into reality. A closer inspection on the door would show quite a few of intricate designs. The door seemed to be made of wood, not unlike the material from which his tree was made of. Unlike the tree however, the door was much darker, almost as if it had been stained by some sort of dark liquid. There were also a plethora of chains that wrapped around the door. They were not enough to obscure view of the door, but they were definitely enough to appear menacing and foreboding. As soon as Sofia attempted to place her fingers over the rough looking dark surface of the chains however, they shattered into an array of spiritual pressure. An audible click was heard from within as if something had been unlocked. And with nothing else in view in the room, and ever curious about what was happening, she would reach to the door knob, open the door, and walk through a pitch black darkness that led elsewhere.

THE QUINCY PRODIGY

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

The prodigy seemed to have awoken in the realm of the living, but during a time certainly before her own birth. It looked like Earth but at least quite a few centuries into the past. Perhaps the early to middle 20th century. Once in the world of the living, and on what seemed to be a battle zone, Sofia was met with a somewhat different scenery than in the wars she had witnessed beforehand. Death was the same. There were countless of people being massacred just like in every war. The reasons for such genocide and atrocities were beyond reason. It was truly despicable that some people could act like that towards their fellow man… As far as the hollow situation however, Sofia and the shadowy hazy dream-like Quincy team she was dispatched with were in awe. The number of hollows in the battlefield were much less than originally expected. The zone had no more hollow activity than a regular large city. It didn’t make sense, with as much death and destruction as there was, there should have been twice as many hollows around.

Before Sofia and her two companions could investigate any further, they were attacked by three individuals. They were not hollows however; they were human. It didn’t make sense, the three humans were clearly able to see them and they exuded a power that was unthinkable for someone of their kind. The prodigy couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but that’s when it hit her. She remembered reports about an investigation in the world of the living. There were human beings that, after premature contact with a hollow, sometimes before birth or through other unknown reasons were able to replicate some sort of spiritual powers. They were still human, but if she had to guess, she would label them closer to hollow than a different spiritual being or humans. Still, the fact that they were so eager to fight them off meant that they were likely well acquainted with combat. What’s more, the lack of hollow activity could be explained by their presence. They could have been the ones destroying the hollows as they came. There was more however. Another patrol of Quincy had been sent earlier to the zone, and nothing was heard ever again from them either.

Upon further inspection at their uniform, Sofia could see they belonged to one of the sides of the human war. They had an armband with a symbol that looked like a cross with four legs bent at 90 degrees. There was no time for questions however. Before Sofia or her team was able to speak, the three opponents would lunge at them. One on one, the Quincy prodigy's opponent would transform two rings on his hands into two machetes. Drawing her own seele as a weapon, she readied for combat. While she was quite adept with the use of her reishi techs and her melody, she didn’t know how strong this individuals were. If they were as strong as she imagined it would have been foolish to foolishly use skills on them on a whim. Her opponent had skill and quite a lot of speed. With two blades, the fullbringer, as some had taken to calling them was quite adept. Sofia however, was no slouch. Despite the oddity of the situation, the fluid movements of her musically styled combat carried through at least somewhat. She was able to move more graciously than her opponent, and her strength, not bolstered by her actual physical prowess but rather speed and momentum, seemed to best him too.

A shriek from behind made the prodigy witness in horror as one of her two companions was cut down. Angered near the point of no return, she placed her seele back into its spot and jumped up, stepping on the blade of his opponent and delivering a crackling surge of reishi so strong that it cleaved his head right off. For a second she cursed herself for not doing it earlier and taking the fight lightly. Then, together with her last surviving teammate, the two took down the remaining two Fullbringers. The opponents seemed to be guarding the entrance to a town in the distance. From the report it was a somewhat desolate town that used to be of some importance many decades before the war. However, since the conflict began, no foreign nation had been able to come out victorious in their attempt to down the city. If the town housed within more individuals like those Fullbringers, it would have been nearly impossible for mere humans to ever come victorious. The problem lied in the fact that, if those three were only foot soldiers, then whatever forces remained within the city were not only greater in number, but also likely much greater in power.

Sofia and her companion would use their reishi communication systems to call in for reinforcements, but they were already on their way there regardless.

With a look at each other, there was no need to exchange words. They both knew what they needed to do. Summoning her geigenbogen and her seele at once, Sofia's partner seemed to manifest a large sword as a spirit weapon as well. Her companion's spirit blade actually looked like a sharp boomerang of sorts made of reishi. She had never seen it but she could only assume it worked like one. Without a second to spare, the two rushed into the city. After all, the only ones that could see and detect them were individuals like the ones they had already fought. As soon as they jumped into the city, they were met with about three other fullbringers. “Don’t let them in!” One of them shouted in a hurry. Perhaps she was thinking too much into it, but what could they possibly have inside that was so worthy of protection. The three fullbringers would prove no match for the famous musician and her companion and their weapons. Sofia simply jumped, landing with her weapons dug into the ground, while grabbing her opponent with her feet and swinging him over to the ground. Just as quickly, she would jump over him and assault him with a barrage of slashes and thrusts until he no longer moved. It wasn’t her intent to kill, but feeling less restrained after the death of a friend, and with the aid of her spirit constructs, she proved too strong for her opponent. Likewise, her companion had managed to defeat the other two opponents on his own.

“Dang,” said the Quincy prodigy with a smile patting his companion on the shoulder. He was much stronger than she had imagined. Their celebration was cut short however, from the largest house, two individuals would walk out. They both wore labcoats. One was about Sofia's height and carried a bunch of suitcases. The other was much taller and had a very prominent beard and broad shoulders. The taller man spoke something in German, and just like that, the shorter guy dropped the items he was holding and charged at them without a moment’s notice. Figuring the taller man was the leader, it was likely best to leave all efforts for him, but they still would have to take care of his bodyguard.

THE QUINCY PRODIGY

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

The bodyguard would pull a small necklace from his neck and press on it before it illuminated. After the light dissipated, the bodyguard would be armed with a very large shield. He didn’t seem to have a means of attack so it must have meant he was primarily defense focused. Rushing forth, Sofia's companion would throw his boomerang and shout, “You’ll need more than defense to best us!” The boomerang would fly and hit the shield hard before bouncing and returning to his owner hands. Without warning however, a blast of incredible power shot forth directly at the prodigy's companion almost as if it was homed at him. The blast looked a lot like a cero. In fact, had it not being a human who had fired it, she would have believed he was fighting a hollow. Then again, with the similarity in their powers it was not beyond reason.

A quick look at her companion would find him on the ground, dead. Sofia couldn’t believe it. She was lost in a mixture of feelings. Part of her was furious yet part of her was also extremely puzzled. Her companion was a formidable combatant with obvious amounts of skill yet he was so easily defeated by the bodyguard. Through it all, the bigger guy simply watched, almost as if it was amusing to him. Even if the short haired lady somehow managed to beat her current opponent, however unlikely, she still needed to find a way to stand up to the leader. The big question was how the shield worked. The specifics would dictate the best plan of attack, but she didn’t have the time.

Charging forth, Sofia would attempt a powerful slash that was swiftly blocked by the shield. As soon as she had done so, she jump upwards, and just like he expected a blast was directed her way. This blast however was considerably slower and weaker than the one that had brought demise to her companion. In fact, she was able to easily slap away the blast with the dense reishi surrounding her geigenbogen and seele. It was strange and puzzling indeed. In her mind, Sofia was already starting to come up with dozen of hypothesis and strategies based on every single one of them. The work she had done since an early age, and her interest in finding new ways to tackle things however through an artistic mind, worked in her favor. If anything all the time devoted to coming up with new ideas had helped her expand her mind.

And so, to test her hypothesis, she would have to run another quick experiment. Sofia would throw a crescent reishi wave from her geigenbogen the side of an empty barn, wrapping part of part of the damage of the crescent wave around it with her melody, and using the waves and the force of the momentum to pull her down towards her opponent. And, readying her blades, she prepared to strike hard with her weapons. The collision of her reishi weapons with the shield created a rather audible noise, reinforcing the idea that the hit had enough power to pummel almost anyone. As soon as she had hit it, she moved back, jumping a good few feet behind. The bodyguard had been shoved a good few feet back, but beyond that, the shield had managed to protect him. In fact, only a few scratches remained on the surface of the shield.

Just after jumping back however, a large orb appeared before the shield before firing forward towards Sofia. “Fuck… I did not think this through enough.” said the prodigy with a sigh of disappointment. Her hunch had indeed been correct, but alas she didn’t think enough ahead should she indeed had been right. She had hypothesized that the shield’s attacks were dependent on the force being applied to it. Therefore, it made sense that a weaker hit, created an attack in retaliation that was much slower and weaker. By contrast, the strong attack her late companion had used instead created a much faster and stronger attack. It also explained why the bodyguard was always on the defensive. His main form of attack was using other’s attacks against them so it would be meaningless for him to try otherwise.

The blast that was coming towards Sofia however was on a whole other scale. It was many times more powerful and faster than even the cero-like blast that had killed her companion. It felt as if she was faced with a ball of fire, and everything before her felt warm. There was no place or time to run away from it. And, judging from the power it had, trying to block it or knock it away was pretty much suicide. In a bout of seeming desperation, Sofia charged towards the incoming blast, disappearing from the bodyguard’s sight. Right after however, he would appear right behind the bodyguard, and away from the reach of his shield. In that position he was able to deliver a strong jabbing thrust with her geigenbogen at the back of his head. And, gripping his neck in a choke hold with one of her arms, she repeatedly beat him with her seele and with unyielding might until there was no more life left in him.

When Sofia had disappeared from sight by positioning herself as close to the blast as possible, she had used one of her ginto techs that allowed her to switch her own body with a decoy, and use her hirenkyaku to rush elsewhere unnoticed. Because of her mastery of hirenkyaku, her speed was so fast while using it, it seemed almost as though she teleported throughout the field. She was certainly much faster than the fullbringers. Moving to it right before the blast hit her had earned her more than enough time. A quick behind her opponent guaranteed her the few strikes she needed to end the fight.

“Well, I guess that only leaves you big guy,” Sofia spoke trying to taunt the guy. Her taunts however were to no avail. The leader didn’t seem to care in the slightest about the death of his subordinate. Instead, from one of his pockets, he removed what looked like a scalpel. With a sudden rise in spiritual energy, the large man suddenly had two small scalpels… one on each hand. Sofia had to squint her eyes for a second to make sure she was seeing right. It was too early but it didn’t look like it would cause her much trouble. If anything his subordinate could have been stronger. After all, the blades were small, and they should be less of an issue for her given how easy she took to bladed combat; Sofia definitely had more than enough talent to keep a good range against scalpels while securing the win. Her opponent had seemingly noticed Sofia's attention to his scalpel and simply laughed in response. He said something in German which she could just sort of make out, perhaps due to how aged and different it was from the modern style. But, judging by his hands gestures, he was taunting her to come while pointing at her dead companion.

Eyes widening in anger at his mockery, that’s all the taunting she needed. With a jump, Sofia was right before her opponent. Just as she readied to deliver the first blow however, she saw countless of shadows around her that got bigger and darker extremely quickly, and when she opened she looked up, she was in pain all over. From above, hundreds of scalpels had rained down on her, stabbing her all throughout her body. The scalpel’s blades were not large enough to cause wounds considerable enough to be fatal. Nevertheless, she was stabbed sufficiently enough in so many areas that she was bleeding all over and in a lot of pain. “My name is Josef…” said the man slowly walking a few feet away from Sofia. “I am the head of a team that specializes in,” he said before pausing to smile in a way that would make children frighten. “I guess you could say we try to make humans...better.”

That’s all he needed to say. Sofia didn’t have to be a genius beyond her own field of expertise to understand what he had meant. The nazi fullbringers led by Josef were trying to experiment on humans with foreign spiritual energies to create something more; something stronger. From the looks of it they had not been successful yet, but if let to the their own devices who knew what kind of monstrosity they could come up with. The only thing she could imagine is them trying to engineer fullbringers but that could only end in disaster. And even if they were close to a breakthrough it would just be wrong. They needed to be stopped.

Struggling to get up, the prodigy had to slap off most of the scalpels that were still digging into her skin. Even taking a single step pained her, yet she continued to walk towards her opponent. As soon as she could, she took a leapt towards the nazi despite the pain. Using her hirenkyaku, she had to move away to the side of the barn, as the ominous shadow rained down where she once stood, stabbing the ground with a plethora of scalpels.

“Darn it,” she cursed in silence before trying to come up with a plan. Rushing forward, Sofia tried running in zigzags towards the nazi. Wave after wave of scalpels were thrown her way. She would dodge and jump continuously. She spiraled upwards and tried to swing her body to the side before continuing to run. She was trying her best to use her most fluid of movements to avoid his blades. From time to time, she even had to slap away some of the blades that were about to hit him with her reishi constructs. Despite all her best efforts however, some of the blades still found their way into her body.

Then, everything started making more sense. Josef was not only a scientist, he was also a torture specialist. His powers matched perfectly. He wasn’t one to kill swiftly. He preferred long drawn out fights where his opponents or his test subjects were made to suffer, and endure the most pain for his enjoyment before they succumbed to his own wounds.

Regardless, Sofia kept pushing on. She even picked up one of the scalpels and threw it at him. With ease however, the nazi simply moved his head, dodging the blade that wound up getting stuck by door of a house near him. Sofia needed to test a plan out. But unlike with her last opponent, she had to be much faster at reaching a result. Unlike last time, her wounds which kept piling up by the second could prove fatal if she did not hasten. Pressing her hands on the ground, he propelled her body upwards as high as she could before throwing two seele down and away from her. Naturally, because of her power over the melody, she was able to shift the throw to cause the seele to move slightly apart from one another in opposite directions. However, though her strategy seemed to indicate something intricate, instead, Sofia just allowed herself to fall, and watched how a plethora of scalpels were rained down on the location where she would have been rushed to around her opponent. The opponent however was completely unharmed. The worse part was, that there wasn’t even a big distance within the user that the prodigy could find herself safe within. The blades were rained down extremely close to his body yet none of them even touched him.

In the distance, Sofia could hear quite a commotion. It looked as though the German army was closing in. She didn’t sense anything of spiritual importance, but it was still important to finish the fight quickly. She needed to destroy whatever research there was before others could get their hands on it. Running towards Josef once again, she would rush to a location completely filled with many scalpels in the field. Throwing another seele towards Josef, she would rush once more to the location of the thrown seele. This time, the scalpels rained down just before the nazi. But against his expectations, Sofia had rushed instead to the scalpel he had handled and tossed at the nazi earlier. Due to her mastered movements and speed, she was able to fool him in regards to her final destination, without Josef being able to counter act as easily. In that position, she was able to deliver an extremely strong slash with her seele to the back of her opponent. It was enough to wound him badly but he was alive nonetheless. In the encounter however, Josef was still able to rain down more scalpels and impale Sofia.

In a bout of desperation, she let loose a powerful crackling electricity made of pure reishi from one of her techs that ended up hitting Josef. Momentarily, the nazi seemed to exhibit pain, and a semi dazed lapse in action that granted the prodigy a split second in time to act or regret it forever.

Without time to waste, Sofia rushed one last time against her opponent before moving fast and closer to the ground, not too far before Josef. As she moved there, she increased the size of the energy surrounding her blades, and with a ginto tech, created two large pentacles, one before her and one near the nazi. And, readying a powerful reishi crescent blast strike, she swung forward. At the same time, an immense rain of scalpels was about to rain down on that same location. Her other hand however had thrown another blast of reishi in the form of a thrust that had gone right through one of the Quincy pentacles like mirrors she had created and behind Josef by the barn. As soon as the reishi slash and the scalpels were about to connect with their intended targets, Sofia rushed right behind the slash she had created, sneaking up behind Josef. In that location, bringing both of her arms up, she swung down hard with all her might before the nazi was able to retaliate. With a blow of that power, Sofia was able to end Josef on the spot, cleaving him down with the might of her weapon, and the speed and momentum that aid it.

With no time before the Germans arrived, Sofia took all the suitcases the scientists had and ran into their labs within the compounds. She looked over their data and decrypted all she could with the knowledge he had amassed at her department and thanks to the skills taught by her childhood friend, Toshiko. Whatever was useful she saved onto a soul file to be examined later back at her department. Everything else she destroyed before fleeing. Soon after she would hear that the war was ending. Hollows however were starting to come out in numbers due to the deaths and the fact that the Fullbringers were no longer keeping them in check. Unfortunately, before she could see anything else transpire, Sofia would be teleported elsewhere. The scenery around her turned an eerie and familiar dark, signifying the end of one dream, and the likely start of even even worse nightmare.

Although Sofia was lost within the sounds of music, and relaxed and extended her body in an attempt to match the rhythmic beats of the music, she was able to feel something different around her. The darkness was gone. The tree was gone. All around her it looked grey. Like a city or an alley she had never seen. It was a dream, and much hazier than the one she had encountered before. Of all her senses, smell was one of her least developed.

Still, there seemed to be an overflowing scent of blueberries around her that, while not overwhelmingly strong, made itself present. It was subtle yet inviting. While not unlike the scent of lavender from the area around her, it was much more refined. Soon, she was able to distinguish the spiritual energy she should have felt much earlier. The spiritual energy did not tug at her as the scent did, but rather it went through and under her clothes, boldly exploring the contours of her body before using her own energy, grappling it and her senses as a means of drawing her nearer to the source.

Quickly pulling at her hair and pressing her hands against the side of her head to shake off of consciousness, and looking behind her, she would find a boy that seemed to be around her age by the look of his features. The boy however displayed elements that provided hints as to where such a stranger could have come from. Semi turned, Sofia would have turned to face him, her lower body still angled to face on the opposite direction. Though not having intended, her large and well shaped derriere still faced him. Absent to knowledge, it was among many other things, the reason why so many people found it difficult to look her eye to eye, as if their sight was made heavy by the tendency to want to drift the eyesight lower.

As soon as she had turned, a beaming smile would greet him, as warm and welcoming as the warm summer rays of an already fading season. Sofia was known for being very social, and she never failed in sharing her loving smiles with everyone she met. In her eyes, even if some were to dislike the gesture, everyone deserved a smile.

From the look of his clothes he was either well off just like her, had a profound and tasteful sense of style or perhaps a combination of the two. He was also kind of dirty however. He had likely been rolling around or sleeping in the ground or the sand. If she had to guess, he had a few wild nights and had simply misplaced his keys and his car too. The boy came off as the typical rich party boy. It was common for rich kids, bored with the abundance and butt kissing of their lives in Tokyo, to come to smaller towns seeking adventures that were new, thrilling, and full of lust.
