This was the last piece of the puzzle indeed. Here he would find his answer that he sought most likely. His frame walked into the forest slowly uncaring about them knowing. Vanguard was in an alliance with the Gotei so he doubted they cared. His frame found a rock as he looked around the forest and rivers. It was a decent place to meditate on things. He could feel the reishi in the air moving and pulse. Everything about this place pulled at his memories. He could still feel the mark upon his forehead. This entire thing was extremely fortunate for him as he began to focus now. He could gather energy on earth very easily with his skills. There is an old adage that is said by some people. Work smarter, not harder is how it goes. Ghislain knew for a fact coming here he could absorb ten times the reishi with no trouble. The first thing he needed to do was figure out the flow. He quieted his mind and soul beginning to find the center. This world like many before it had a certain flow and rhythm at which it breathed.

Focusing on the mark now engraved into his skin he felt energy begin pouring into it. He would need to keep his calculations correct as he felt the surge. It was almost addicting to feed energy into the mark. Bringing it where he knew the bounds of the technique. It wasn't something simple or childish here. His training was difficult and not the kind most could do. This required high levels of focus and control. Making sure the amount was precisely where his body could handle it. Figuring out his limits without letting his pride or overconfidence break him. This was the reason not many learned this technique entirely. But in learning it they took a promise into their minds. That they could only use this in dire emergencies. In situations of a crisis where they could let it all out. This technique was perfect for refueling the lost tank of energy you had. Ghislain intended to challenge Mana again someday. His body tightened a bit at that memory as he tried to figure it out.

What kind of energy was needed to defeat the Demon Queen? Was it something in his prowess to do so. Ghislain decided to do something he'd not done in some time. He would open the Emperor's Sanctuary within his mind. As the world faded to black around him and time seemed to pause. Two figures walked towards the male as he sat his cerulean eyes staring at them. "You both know why you're here I take it?" Hulderic stood giving a shrug of his shoulders as he walked forward. "Ghi-kun, you shouldn't have fought Mana-chan she was way out of your league." Hulderic as always came across as laid back and strange. His eyes slowly honed in on the first Emperor. He stood silently staring at Ghislain as the two didn't generally get along. "Your impression of her?" He said directing the question at the first Emperor. The male's eyes looked cold and empty as he gave a slight scoff noise as he smirked. "Way out your realm boy."

Ghislain tapped his forehead showing the mark to the both fo them as it continued filling. "What about this, any techniques or ideas that go with this?" Hulderic shook his head and glanced back to the other. Yhwach's eyes seemed to narrow a bit more staring at that mark. Ghislain didn't need to really ask with that expression. Yhwach was familiar with it and the user of it most likely. He decided to speak finally as his crimson gaze pierced Ghislain's forehead practical. " The Crescent Seal, so that's your game is it boy? The technique for releasing it is complicated..tch but take it anyways." He gestured at Ghislain's head and it was there. But oh to those who think this was painless it wasn't. His mind felt like it was splitting open as knowledge came in. He got the general idea of how this technique worked. The Crescent Seal was awoken by feeding it energy. The energy could be used for several purposes.

Healing was one of them that interested him but there was another. The Crescent Scythe technique was something that went along with it. The other thing was what he'd seen as a boy and the form was poorly used. The two former Emperors faded into the background as Ghislain's eyes opened. He'd gathered a lot of energy here much faster. The question was who could he call out this far for a match. Testing these techniques out would be important to everything else. The tattoos symbolized the technique done correctly. As for this scythe technique. It seemed to be used to cut everything around the user into pieces. Interesting that he'd never encountered a user during the war. Yhwach must have offended that monk fairly bad for him not to get his slimy hands on it. But alas this training would continue for now till he could figure it out. He would send a note to the only figure he could think would be able to aid him. Though she was busy with a revival of sorts for the Gotei. He guessed the Kenpachi herself wouldn't mind squaring off with a Quincy. He sent the bird off as he focused on his objective and would see what came to mind.

So to reflect on what the first Emperor said about Mana. Hulderic seemed too close to the girl. But maybe that was the problem with him as Emperor. Ghislain meditated on the sins of the past. He'd engaged in war as though nothing else mattered to him. Ruthless murder and fighting tactics. He didn't fight on the frontlines but handled engaging against the Lieutenants of that era. He also devised most the strategies for that time. His ideas and cunning served the War well. His cerulean eyes opened as he took in a breath. Inhaling as he released a small breath of air. Tattoo markings began to form on his face as his eyes turned black slowly. The Golden color formed around the iris as he exhaled a breath. Restraint release level one. It was time to do a more hands-on training as he opened and closed his fist. This technique was something impressive as he could see further and felt stronger. Sending a punch outward a nearby boulder was destroyed. Concentrating he created fifteen knights and cracked his neck. Sidestepping the first two's attack with ease he spun around doing a leg sweep into a punch. He created a large crater in the ground. This mode was interesting it felt like his entire body was wired with energy. In the next instant using just his speed, he vanished striking down the remaining with quick precise finger jabs. He deactivated the technique now as his frame fell over to the ground. He coughed up a small amount of blood as he smirked slightly. "So there were risks to a full activation huh." He laid upon the ground now his eyes returning to normal and the tattoo returning to rest upon his forehead. The small Crescent moon showing there as he exhaled. His body beginning to heal as he absorbs reishi into his frame. Using it to recover from the injuries that came from that. He didn't know exactly yet a way to make this technique safe proof. A healing based technique existed within it. That was just the base activation that wiped him out of his energy. Nothing else really remained for him to figure out aside from the scythe.

He could make a scythe of Dark Matter to train with. Ghislain had never used a weapon of it's like. But he wondered if he would enjoy the use of one. Mentally he began to visualize how to make one as he'd never had the occasion to build one. Dark Matter based techniques required a little less experience. He brought his hands outward as he sat up from his position. Recovered fully from using the technique he previously had. Ghislain had little memory of what a scythe looked like. Holding his hands outwards as the Dark Matter formed the scythe. The blade covered into a crescent like a moon on his head to an extent. He stood up feeling the length making sure it was proper. Perhaps this was to be the weapon Ghislain practiced with the most now. He used his single arm to turn the weapon slightly as he got a feel for it. It was heavy on the blade and felt strange to use as the edge for cutting was sharp. His cerulean eyes looked at the weapon as he examined it closer.

He began spinning the weapon a bit to get a feel for its strength. The weight became clear as he moved it around his body. Going for a fast paced fighting style. He got the sense that this weapon could become something he'd be fighting with more. Masters of fighting with this weapon had belonged to the monastery before he arrived. He couldn't just gain experience with a weapon. Understanding how it worked would take time and practice. He would require something of a sparring partner at some point. Practicing usage of the scythe and its weapon. The style he would need to rate would be a fast-paced one for this. The weapon was strange to him and almost odd as he would certainly need a better image of a scythe. This wasn't the garden tool as it looked similar to the Grim Reapers. Letting his digits grasp the black frame of the blade's hilt area. Giving the weapon a state into the ground he jumped to land on the blade's hilt area. It was properly weighted to hold his weight presently. Slowly sitting down on it. He began to meditate on this new weapon. Visualization of combat wielding such a large weapon. This was the problem he faced becoming a master of this thing. The blade was long and rather heavy so it would take some time to learn. His muscles weren't strong so wielding that weapon around would be tricky.

All things considered, he would need at least a bit of preparation to figure it out. Ghislain wouldn't be able to cover much ground wielding a new weapon like this. It would require time and practice as he believed it's first weakness was its size. With his Blut and Armor of Dark Matter. He would be able to handle some blows of course. This wasn't anything he could really think much less of. He began to think about the fighting style for this weapon. It would need to be quick based and use blasts of energy. His technique would have to leave few openings as possible. Right now his speed was decent but with gravity, he could make the weapon more wieldable. Take away some of its heft and create a fast paced scythe style.

Keeping his broad swings to a minimum of attack a large number of enemies. His lips curved into a smile thinking he may have just found his new favorite weapon. Ghislain had wielded a sword for so long and that weapon held a very sad memory for him. this weapon almost seemed fun for him as he knew so much. Scythe-Wielding this would be something that required him to study hard. But for the first time in a long while his blood was pumping. A feeling that had the former Emperor pleased and excited. The only way to know your alive was to practice and train hard till you almost threw up. Wielding a weapon like this promised to challenge him to his core. What abilities and techniques could he develop using a scythe. Ghislain was excited by the prospect as he got off the scythe pulling the blade from the ground. "It's been a while Elizabeth, but I'm excited to see how far I can go." He said smiling as he rested felt the balance making corrections to the weapon.

It was time for him to figure out how to fight quickly with this weapon now.

He slowly pushed his form from the scythe letting it disappear as he exhaled a breath. The only way one improved was to get up and try again as he absorbs an absurd amount of energy into his body beginning to fuel himself completely with it. This wasn't going to be the end or the beginning of anything as he stood up right to begin his training. Ghislain would finalize everything he realized as his eyes began to turn dark and markings appeared. It wouldn't be over just yet as he exhaled a breath now. Taking in all the energy he could as he prepared to unleash it's power again and got ready to use his strength in a different way. It was time for Ghislain to push past the boundaries of what came naturally to him. Why did the train to what end was it he pushed his body to the breaking point over and over? Was it for this ideal world that Hayden wished to create and make into something more. Was it because of some day honor that hung in his chest. No, he would begin rebuilding and making something new. Something that hadn't been seen in ages since it's passing within the world.

He trained to forge the new truth with his might and skills. Ghislain trained in the old way to perform feats beyond the imagination. Finding the lost chapters of this world and converting them into something new. He would perfect this Crescent Seal and develop it into a fierce weapon that would allow him to unleash powerful attacks. But it was something more he wanted to create a place for people to belong. Where they could feel like that dark and lonely place wasn't swallowing them whole. He wanted strength to defend their place to belong to go beyond it. "For that, I'll become a devil..I'll protect them.I"ll PROTECT THEM ALL!" He roared out as he would perfect this technique here and now or die to try. He absorbed six times the amount his body could handle into the mark as he brought his hands forward. Ghislain wouldn't give up hope or abandon the future. He began to feel his power rising and overflowing as he felt the markings appear.

"MJOLNIR!" Using the power over the gravitons he had access too plus the massive increase from releasing he created a new move. Here on the spot using this power Thor's Hammer it came down with a mighty blow. Surging through his body he hit the ground with it and the force of the explosion was massive as the forest and lacks got wiped out in an instant. The entire place was bathed in a glow of a white light as Ghislain released a massive blast of power destroying everything within miles. From the Seireitei and the Rukongai, this was witnessed as this section was completely destroyed. Eradication on a scale like this hadn't been seen in some time. He'd misjudged the power of his new move entirely as his body glowed with smoke coming off it as he breathed heavily. This was only the beginning as he seemed to draw closer to the answer that lingered just beyond the sun. His power was growing much more impressive as he trained himself to the bones. Ghislain was developing a fighting style with this.

He could call lightning strikes anywhere he wanted but the sheer force of gravitons combined with it had been enough to destroy most this forest leaving a giant crater in its wake. His breathing was heavy as the training had been taxing as his eyes returned to their normal color shortly. He would need to restore the damages done to himself as he fell over on his back the seal returning to its inactive state on his forehead. He sighed softly as he didn't feel any damages or lingering effects this time. The seal was getting easier to use each time as he learned to control its power. To understand what it meant to have such an awesome power inside of yourself to use. Ghislain could fathom the rest but do it here was risky indeed. The next time he went to train his new moves he had in mind. He would do it within the F District in Karakura. This level of carnage reminded him of most unpleasant thoughts of the war.

Elizabeth was right about one thing Ghislain was very much a man who trained constantly. He never stopped training for a goal or purpose. Aiming to become greater every moment that presented itself to him. He was desiring to be far more than anything else for his people. He didn't care about the Quincy anymore as he would soon retake the name. Ghislain Baskerville, the Hound who would train the next one. The next Hound of Baskerville had been chosen and she would pick her successor as he was her. He laid there in the middle of that hole grinning a bit. This was exciting to see such progress before him in any way or form. Ghislain would need a fight soon to test out just how far he'd come. Someone to push his limits and force him to bring out his absolute best. Everything he'd mastered or believed in brought shimmering to the surface. But the Crescent Seal was finally complete, his body healed the damages it took upon activating so it kept him healthy.

However, Ghislain believed this technique as a last resort for emergencies only. No other circumstances should it be used by him for anything. He believed fully that this was far too dangerous for such reckless abandon. He needed to be functional and careful in what he did with this power. With great power comes a great duty to those around you. The Baskerville's Rise would come soon to this world. He dusted himself off as he winced a bit gripping his arm stage one was cleared now it was on to stage two and this one would be much more destructive as he developed even further into a warrior.
