Altair [WIP] Empty Altair [WIP]

Tue Feb 07, 2017 8:01 pm
General Information

Name:Altair
Alias: The Pale One, The Pale Rider, The Demon of the Unabara. The Lone Child
Race: Shinigami
Age: Unknown
Height:Five Feet and Seven Inches
Weight: One Hundred and Forty pounds
Martial Status: Single
Orientation: Heterosexual
Physical Appearance: Despite having a young body he is extremely imposing to stand before for anyone. For some reason, this child like form of thirteen gives off the air of an eternity of life. His knowledge and skills in cultivating his body were extremely sharp. His physical body while light holds tremendous physical strength and potential. He didn't die for anything against Stefan in the long run. He figured out how to cultivate his body and become stronger. Altair has white hair and scarlet eyes. Known for their piercing gaze that scares those who look into them too long. The eyes of a man who's killed billions and perhaps even more. His features betray him as someone older than his body. But Tsubasa has long died and Altair isn't the same as the monster from before. To say that the man has changed and developed into a different person. That is something that doesn't linger far from the truth. His physical appearance while it has allowed him to leave in peace for now. Spending his time holding back his spiritual monstrous pressure he's been cultivating the body of the boy he is in. His clothing often times is a kimono with a blue scarf around his neck. No patterns are on the white kimono he wears with black guards around his wrists. His clothing is exceptionally plan but it suits his purpose. He didn't wish to return to that life or struggle that he died over. He protected that place and it abandoned his family to slaughter. The Gotei 13 sat and watched while they were butchered by the Demon World. Altair has only one thing in mind and it's to avoid having anything to do with them.

Family Matters/Background:He was born into a family that was rather happy to have him. His mother and father were both ecstatic to have a boy finally in the family. Everyone was happy for the down on their luck couple. They'd been trying for ages to have a child and finally did so. Little did they know this would be the last thing they did in this world. They didn't realize they were giving birth to a soul with so much spiritual pressure. The amount this child had was that of the former Captain Commander Tsubasa Unabara. A monstrous amount of spiritual pressure was the gift this child came with. Sadly it was too much for the parents of Altair to bear and they died. The news never went far outside the village as people continued taking care of the child. Making sure to feed and give food to him. His spiritual pressure ended up killing most of this lost village's people. He's a child without a family because of this reason. Altair has never taken the last name because none suit him. He was regarded as a cursed child for some time after the events continued happening. He was used to hard life even as an infant he still had his thoughts. Altair was a lot more conscious than most infants would have been. He was aware of what happened but couldn't speak. He couldn't warn them only cry when they died around him. His spiritual pressure was both a curse and a boon. It was something that allowed him to survive. His body didn't need nourishment or such things. He was able to sustain off of just his energy alone. But the village's death is blood on this child's hands. He didn't have a family life or a happy go lucky adventure for himself. Altair didn't leave till he was three years old. Using the village as cover and trying not to think of the bodies beneath him. He'd let so many people down without being able to communicate. It all cost him so much but he had so many memories of how to survive.

Personality

Calm: He's calm under most circumstances and doesn't get rattled very easily. He's a person who keeps himself under a constant state of calm. Capable of physically being imposing as he was. Altair often believes actions are much more effective than words. Not enjoying mincing words or wasting time with speeches. He believes people lose so much in translation. The Blade and things of that nature are the only times he truly gets excited about the world. His calm is even under fire against strong enemies that may invade the outskirts. He's killed foes who would venture into the Soul Society to cause trouble. Altair doesn't want to get involved most times but does because he feels it his duty. The strong must protect and provide for the weak. That is the decree he lives under even though Tsubasa would rather be left alone away from all this. And mourn the loss of everything that has come.

Enigmatic: He's simply complicated and hard to read. Even those who specialize in reading people can't quite get inside his head. It's not sadness that grips him or something of that nature. Tsubasa wasn't one to be brought down by such poetry emotions. But some things are as they always have been and he doesn't show anything. It's why when fighting him reading his moves is almost impossible. Because he shows nothing and is likely to do one thing as another. He doesn't have a particular way or thing about him. He simply does and lets the actions move things forward. Everything goes to plan aside from one major event. His death was something that even Tsubasa didn't plan for in advance. He didn't know it would come at the hands of a random person in a duel. That wasn't something he expected to happen. But he did know his soul would move on in the cycle. That his power would pass on to some new lifeform and from there something new could be.

Intelligent: In his previous time as Tsubasa Altair was the Captain of the Research and Development on difference occasions. He invented and created the doll system to allow people to train and develop. Inventing a new race and showing signs of things like that. He's able to solve problems others struggle with at times. Figuring things out by using complicated plans and strategies to help survive situations. Even if he's outnumbered or outgunned. Tsubasa has never let something like that go. Altair may have left behind much of those things in the past. But memories are powerful things and so much so that the boy remembers everything. He knows everything that was and is of that life. He is able to replicate and survive using his savvy and wits from then. Even in his youngest years, he's not lost his touch for things. Picking up speech again rapidly at the age of two and showing mastery of speaking once again. His intellect is one thing he's been happy about keeping.

Battle Hardened: Something about him despite his younger appearance. He seems to of seen battles of the likes you'd never imagine a boy to of seen. The world he's witnessed is much larger than expected. His experience in his past life has aided him in many fashions. Memories of destroying the Hell Gate and bringing upon them so much destruction. Causing the fall of Iriko into that place was all his fault. He remembers every single mistake made. Altair while young is an old man at the same time. It's a strange crossing of personalities that has happened. While Tsubasa does dominate much of Altair's personality due to the sheer amount of memories. The amount of bloodlust he can put out is something nightmare like. He's able to summon forward this intent to kill so powerful that enemies cease moving. Like coming towards him is akin to dying. He says it's something warriors get once they killed enough people. When enough flames of life have been extinguished you become a Devil.

Charismatic: Something about him back then and even now. It just draws people to him even as a child. He's been known to attract followers but for a change. He wants nothing to do with them. Last time his entire people were killed and slaughtered brutally. Altair and perhaps even Tsubasa remembers this as a painful thing. He would rather not be so charismatic and draw people to him so naturally. He's a natural leader and capable of leading anything given to him. Able to instruct and teach unlike anyone's ever seen. He can see potential with a glance of his scarlet eyes. He's able to motivate and drive people to help him with actions. He gets so far by acting instead of speaking and talking. When he does speak it's as though he's some messiah to the people. Altair can't stand this drawing feature given past events. But he can't get rid of it as it just happens naturally like breathing. He wishes that sometimes he was a normal kid away from it all.

Suffering: This is something that few people will realize. Because he hides it behind actions and his features. But inside he is in pain and suffering. His heart is broken and shattered by the betrayal that came. That the Gotei stood by and watched his entire family die. That nothing was done to them by anyone. That Ibiki would let this go without retort or action. That she didn't involve herself or try and help them. That his dearest friend betrayed him, that place where everything was given. He gave blood, sweat, tears, and effort. And in return, he got given nothing but the death of his entire clan. That pain lingers in his heart as well as the pain that he killed innocent people. That he couldn't protect them from his power and get away. He was powerless to save them from his sheer spiritual pressure. Inside his torment he keeps it hidden wanting to scream out in agony. To cry and weep endlessly that this world and curse the Soul King for being the useless fool he is.

Likes

Swordplay:No matter how often it happens he seems to always enjoy swordplay. Something about the art and techniques that he devised. The way he developed and became a swordsman. That was something that Altair could never put down not as Tsubasa nor as Altair. The art of the blade is something that became an obsession for him. Something he could live for and get used to dealing with. Being a fine wielder of the weapon made him a specialist of sorts. Altair has put in the time to be a skilled user of the weapon. Being reborn at the second Tsubasa perished he was able to pick up all the knowledge skills of the person before him. Something about learning to use his power in a different way always had the charm to him. In some ways, it was an escape from the world and its cruel vices. Kierudo and the Unabara Lotus but memories in his head. Things he can pull out if need be while also inventing new methods.

Inventing: He has a love for tinkering and experimenting. It's what gave rise to the Shinigami Dolls in his previous life. Much of his being and self aren't something so simply defined by a mere singular word. They are things and actions that span within reason. He enjoys creating new ways and doing new things to further causes. But now that flame has died down some as he finds himself. Altair no longer desires anything to do with the Gotei or any of them. He has no interest in or desires to honor his former pact with the Soul King. None of these things are even remotely in his mind. Inventing for them again only to be betrayed would be a foolish move. He'd been betrayed enough in his previous life to learn lessons from it. To learn that he wasn't going to be putting himself in that position. Questions of why he entered that god forsaken tournament still lingered in his mind. Dying to someone and for what reason did he fight while sick?

Solitude: He's become more reclusive since his rebirth and not really desired anything. He doesn't care for people being around him because his presence tends to kill them. He never had this issue as Tsubasa but when he became Altair it became an issue. It wasn't a lack of control it's just the nature of his reiatsu now. People simply can't handle being around something like it. Eaten away by the energy he naturally gave off. Blood of his parents and village still lingers on his hands. Being alone away from the Gotei and whatever they do. He has no interest in Damien, his former family or any of it. At this point, he's content running away from his failure. Altair while strong and certainly at least a Captain Class Shinigami. He doesn't have the desire to leave this exile. He's self-imposed on himself to be further away from them all. Because if he stays away he can't hurt anyone. If he remains far away and forgotten to the sands of time. He can't repeat the mistakes from before that haunt him in his dreams.

Training This is sort of the only thing that keeps his mind occupied now. Endless training produces results beyond the regular fathoming. It helps when you have all the methods and knowledge of your previous life to use. To start the right away from the moment your capable of doing so. Some of the issues that come to light with this are very much in his mind. Altair has taken to the ideals and practice of always training allowing him to become a strong physical being. Instead of focusing only on speed he now puts his focus into something else. As Tsubasa, he once believed Kido was a needed element to perfect swordplay. That by abandoning it we lost sight of what was truly important. His body could have been stronger his will as well. He could have done much more to prepare for this. Learning of transmigration being his power was an ironic twist. But now this pastime pleasure is something he gets excited for inside.

Fighting: The only thing that quells the noise of his sorrow is combat. Fighting to the death and drawing blood of his enemies. Fighting is something that lets him stop thinking and focus on that. Perhaps Ibiki did rub off on him a bit as his personality changed so slightly. Or maybe this was another way to run away from betrayal. Betrayal from all his friends that he believed and trusted in. He was naive to trust and put faith in anything but his own sword. Passing his time accepting duels and fighting is about all he does anymore. Fighting in arena's and doing things like that on the outskirts of the Soul Society. Staying as far away from the things that go on within the place. He's not really interested in anything but the roar of battle. The sound of blades crossing as he thinks only of how to inflict the killing blow. How to fight and finish his enemy off with his skills. Whenever he sits still it's almost like facing his demons seems to be the only choice.

Dislikes

Gotei: He doesn't like the Organization or anything it is. He's lost the faith in them and has a similar opinion of the Soul King. Altair has seen what he believes is a betrayal on their part. They stood by and let his kin and children die. For no reason that he can truly comprehend. He doesn't seek to talk it out as he stews in the bitterness that came with it. He doesn't hate them but has lost his taste and trust for them. While he doesn't consider himself a bad guy he's not ready to help them ever again. Altair doesn't have an opinion or belief that structures around that system. He has heard rumors of a rebuild around his former Friend. But he doesn't trust them or see those within that uniform as anyone trustworthy. It will take some effort for them to convince him otherwise of things. Altair is, after all, someone who's witnessed much more than he should of in his days. Those memories and the cruelty left out by something once precious hurts.

Kiriel Asthavon: He hates this man with a passion and will return the pain upon his kin. He will get Mana and every single one of them for this. Kiriel brought pain and ruin upon the Unabara and Altair will bring death upon Shadow's Fall. He's got an intense dislike and aversion to them. While he still holds some form of forgiveness in his heart for the likes of Gotei. Forgiveness doesn't exist for this being or his kin as of this moment. Inami herself is someone he intends to question about the entire thing someday. Why someone who considered herself a friend did nothing as well. Why her brother was allowed to do this unpunished and got to disappear freely. Anger, whenever he thinks of that name, is all that comes of it. A cruel desire to rip apart the bodies of his enemies. To introduce them to nothingness is the only thing that Altair has in mind. It's why he fights in those arena matches and only when angry does he truly cause pain.

PLEASE don't forget to tag your stuff properply. Since this did not have a finished or WIP tag in it, one can assume it is done and we don't to assume that. So I'm changing it to WIP.
