Operation Island Purge [Vanguard Mission] - Micronesia Thread

Hayden held a duty to the people of this world, the duty to act when called upon by injustice spreading it's disgusting head no matter the time or place. So when the call was made to Vanguard operatives that a demonic plague was now sweeping into micronesia he was able to make a swift call to action sending troops on their way. But that would not be enough. No. The will of the world needed the Reagent General of the Vanguard to make their presence known- since the moon incident a show of force had not been seen for some time. This relatively interesting threat to the people of earth was a just enough reason to make a appearance as the protector of the realm.

It was this very reason that everyone in the area would feel a sudden increase in the air pressure as above head a massive portal would open from the Vanguardian HQ in Karakura. As an airship of massive portions swept above the nation in a methodical pace, the sleek nature casting a shadow over the fight blocking the sun. It was one of the infamous Dreadnoughts, a simple of Vastimian and Vanguardian might. The massive rail-gun within the main chamber of the ship a looming sight but was overall protected by the exterior of the ship, considering the ship was practically built around it. However, the massive blaster guns scattered across the ship seemed to be more of a threat to those down below as their whirled downwards beginning to point at the battlefield.

In the bridge of the ship Hayden was standing up looking at a virtual map of the battlefield which held red dots and green dots to signify enemies or potential allies. The terrain of the map being displayed as well along with an assortment of other visual and non visual information. It seemed the battle had already began but it was time to truly kick things into gear as he looked to the weapons officer, lifting his right hand before shifting his gaze to the personnel officer lifting his left hand in the process. They both waited with bated breath for the signal to begin their operations, before Hayden eyes steeled themselves dropping his hands at the same time.



With those words the men would bark orders to their subordinates and begin furiously typing on their control panels. Meanwhile Hayden would already begin departing for the surface of the battlefield, but while that was happening those on the battlefield would experience and interesting sight. The 50mm 'VULCAN' Minigun Stations would begin zeroing in across the battlefield before literal turrets of high-impact rounds began impacting the earth around the demons- should a normal human have gotten hit by these would be nothing but a splat on the ground. Even as they impacted the ground they where destroying rock and dirt throwing literal chunks in the air as they let covering fire rip in one long burst. Fuel'd by advanced Vastimian Tech and their unique Vastimian metal these would prove very deadly to be hit by, able to shred many beings should sustained fire come in contact. Within a single minute over 5,000 rounds would be expended from the two gun stations not even firing at their highest capacity, which could have hit 10,000 if they fire at the same time for a prolonged minute.

The point of this largest burst of fire which would have tore up the battlefield and directly at the enemy forces was for the drop-pod deployment of Vanguardian soldiers. These titianium pods where dropped from the bottle of the ship which where spiraling down before impacting the ground, should they manage to hit the ground the doors of the pod would explode launching the large metal doors towards the enemy forces. Three pods where deployed carrying six troops in each one for a total of eighteen Vanguardain soldiers joining the battlefield which would immediately set up engaging the demons leaving the main fight to those already on scene. Meanwhile they could stop the capture of any civilians or deal with the mindless slaves who where lost.

In all that commotion people may not have notice but a fourth thing fell from that ship, they had just impacted the ground causing a large shockwave to ripple and dust storm. Clad in a black battle armor, Zanpakatou tied to their side was none other than the Reagent General of the Vanguard and leader of Vastime. Standing at his full height he would begin to take into account the controlled carnage. The eighteen soldiers of his was currently seeking out and eliminating any demonic soldiers who thought they could escape or was rounding up Civilians- meanwhile the allies of the Vanguard where engaging the demon guy and it's beast. It seemed they could use his help more, which was made clear as he began to walk towards them cracking his neck.

"Sorry for the dramatic entrance, but I felt we would make no mistakes this time around. Seems you took quite the beating." He remarked referring to the now battered and scarred battlefield which was beaten with the high impact ammunition which was fired, each singular round was capable of potentially knocking out a modern tank but with the bullet storm they sent chances are those who didn't put up some defense would've been severly damage'd including that beast which was infecting mortals- it should be noted that those who where not enemies or demons would've been avoided in the burst of fire.




Equipment used

The General Shadow stood still, analysing the situation as the demon launched itself at her, letting Ichika use her holy influence to minimise the use of the swarming demons. In hindsight she was right to bring her little angel half along to this situation at hand although this wasn't going to be allowed to get any more out of control than it already had because of this desire to stop this right now she ascended to her first Soul Evolution form, taking no noticeable changes to give away the fact she had enhanced her abilities.

"Cyrus dear, find me a weak spot in that thing's Akuma Kyudo. I need to break it open like an egg."

Smirking as the damned demon approached her the phantom tech brain was already in the process of analysing the energy that surrounded it. Looking for that sweet weak spot as she got into a crouching position, giving the impression of her bracing herself to hit it head-on. She had this little stunt of her's worked out to a nanosecond as the demon finally came into range and she leaped towards the demon, bringing her hands up and taking the appearance of a drill.

It's time to break that armour of your's!

Chifuyu was aiming directly towards it's mouth, giving it ample opportunity to bite or swallow her, but that was the beauty of her attack for the most likely weakest area was the mouth and just before she'd hit it there would be an eruption of crystal. Stretching around her outer layers of skin to give her a diamond like skin as layered and latticed it to make it incredibly durable and then she emitted a kinetic blast from her hand, angled to force her to spin like a diamond drill.

Her spinning crystalline form would collide with it and try to drill into the roof of its mouth, she was constantly emitting kinetic force from her feet and hand to keep that drilling motion going and all she needed was a crack in the Akuma Kyudo for the moment she felt her hands pierce the roof of the monster's mouth the crystals broke away from her hand and embedded into the skin.

With her form now trapped in the mouth she had to act fast and if all went well then the crystals would begin to grow as she fed them her energy which as one can assume would cause them to eventually pierce the brain and do considerable amount of damage, now even if it didn't kill the demon if the pain was enough she could create another burst of kinetic force outwards and push her from the mouth and away where she could keep the crystals growing. Her form disgustingly wet with its saliva.

Meanwhile Ichika was trying her best but in her mind her best just wasn't good enough! She bit her tongue and tried to use her own power but, well she had to use the orb Cirno gave her to actually help her with this. Helping them was more important than her own development and she begged Cirno to help her save these people. To enhance her own holy aether to be more pure and cleansing and to end the scourge that was inflicting harm on these people. Once said promise was seen as pure the healing power of her aether increased drastically and would heal a good amount of the one's she had bound but healing such a large amount of people she'd faint for a moment which left her falling towards the ground with the exertion and exhaustion.

"I.... I did it... ugh"

Sighing she smiled as she fell into the void of her exhaustion, possibly hitting the ground but her durability mitigated the damage that would've occurred if she hit the ground so it wasn't going to matter if someone caught her or not.

It was as Vladimir shot through the sky that things seemed to change; a shadow covered the area as bullets seemed to rain down from the sky; it seemed that someone had decided to bring out the big guns, literally. It was so much effort for a single being, this was a show of strength; there was no doubting this. The amount of firepower that rained down, and the man who dropped himself in the middle of combat, made it obvious who these things belonged to. Vastime was here to display its strength to the world; perhaps they felt the need to reaffirm their own strength. This, however, was not what Vladimir was focused on; he was focused on ensuring that he could handle the situation before him.

Vladimir was well aware of the fact that he took a rather straight forward approach in this conflict; it was with this awareness that he was a bit skeptical as to whether or not this attack would be capable of actually making contact with its intended target; sure, he was maintaining a good speed, and sure the strength behind it was more than enough, he still had a feeling that this was too good to be true; after all, who left the end game boss unguarded? There was always some form of mini-boss blocking the path. It was with this that Vladimir could feel a demonic presence, it seemed that there was going to be an obstacle in the way after all; it wouldn’t be interesting if he was able to topple the beast in one foul swoop, now would it? The only part which bothered him was the fact that the female who was occupying the beast, while she seemed confident, may not be enough to take it down; this was something which worried him.

Aside from the fact that this would be a worthwhile experience, the energy levels seemed to imply that the man was capable of keeping up with Vladimir in his base form, but this would also give the others a chance to intervene; if he was able to handle the attention of the one being that didn’t flee then taking care of the beast would be a simple task. Who would slay the beast mattered very little to Vladimir, all that was important was that it was slain quickly; the less damage it could cause, the better. It was with this mentality that he decided it would be better to defeat this man as quickly as he could; why waste time on a tuna when you could spear the shark?

It was with this that Vladimir would simply smile as his fist connected with that of the man's; it seemed he was bold enough to take Vladimir head on, this would be interesting. It seemed that after he had pumped himself full of energy he was about as strong as Vladimir, though this would not pose a serious threat. As their fists connected, their feet hitting the ground, Vladimir would launch his left hand up towards the males neck. Reaching behind, grabbing the man by the nape of the neck, Vladimir would pull his head down; as he did so his knee would rise, crashing into the mans nose. This impact, were the person human, would be more than enough to not only break the nose, but also thrust the bone back into the male's head, piercing the brain. Vladimir doubted that this, however, would be enough to cause the male to cease and desist. It was with this that he would repeat this process four times before pulling his head back up and send his fist hurling towards the man's face. With this he male would, surely, drop to the ground; in an attempt to finish this scuffle Vladimir would raise his leg and swing it down, implanting the heel of his boot into the man’s head. This all falls under the assumption that he was able to grab the male by the nape of the neck, however.

Having already devised a plan if he should be unable to grab the man by the nape of the neck, because when were things ever as simple as he would hope, he would simply keep this small space between the two; he would not allow the man room to flee, nor to utilize much else. He had asked for a close quarters match by contesting his fist, now this was what he would get. It was with this that he would continually throw jabs, very quick movements, aimed at the man’s gut and face. Continuing with this movement he would pressure the man back until he found himself enclosed near an alleyway. What better place to make sure he couldn’t turn tail and run? “Well, this is what you wished for; is it not?”
