As usual, midday in the center of Karakura City was a busy time. As light flooded down from outside of the protective dome, it seemed that the "rush hour" for shopping was well underway; every shop seemingly filled to it's capacity. From grocery store to clothing department, it seemed that nearly everyone had decided to go out shopping at the exact same time. Of course, none of this was really relevant to one man, sitting on the ledge of a two story building; it only served as background noise. Wearing a green hoodie, black "Red Hot Chili Peppers" t-shirt, blue jeans and black "Vans" sneakers, this man seemed to be just another part of the crowd to the untrained eye. Of course, hidden by the ledge was a Zanpakuto, slid under his belt to keep it in place. If one were to catch a glimpse of him from behind, the would most likely be able to tell that this man wasn't a human; that, and by his reiatsu. Putting all of this together, it would be easy to identify the man if you had met him even once before, as Ravana Ichiro.

Normally, Ravana wasn't used to seeing the downtown district this crowded, seeing as he usually spent his days fighting hollows in the outskirts of town. While this was slightly annoying at first, Ravana had decided to go and hang out on the roofs, escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As for why he was here instead of out fighting hollows, Ravana had simply decided to take a break today. Earlier, Ravana had been hoping to run into one of his friends or maybe a cute girl, but due to how crowded the city was, he had simply resigned to relaxing alone. Sighing, Ravana looked lazily around at all of the stores and people in them. Normally, Ravana would be thinking about something concerning why he fought hollows everyday, or why he was so determined to become stronger; but today, he just felt too lazy. "It's always so boring every time I decide to come here" he said to himself, closing his eyes for a second.
