Confessions of Love; What May Occur?

Hayden would be currently in one of the private training chambers scattered throughout the base, his eyes closed as he remained seated with his legs crossed. He simply wore his jogging pants as he steadied his breathing, reflecting and allowing his energy to course through his veins one pulse at a time- this was not the time for rapid combat. Not yet. If someone was to intrude on this they would be greeted by this introspective sight, one which seemed almost uncanny considering the fast paced life of Desmond Hayden.

Kimitsuki gave off a soft yawn as she slowly walked around a vast amount of Vastime. Eventually, she arrived at one of the private training areas; barely sensing Hayden from inside. She opened the door to the private training chamber and slowly walked in, the door closing behind her. Kimitsuki walked in and spotted Hayden, waving at him as she moved to find a punching bag or something. If she could find nothing of the sort, she may just go sit next to Hayden and talk. Maybe.

Hayden meditative state would be undisturbed by the fiery presence which entered the room, instead he would simply remain still. The flow of reiroyoku within his body, the death matter which made up his atoms, and the vizard energy all intermingling as a soft olive, maroon, and black glow emitted around him. The tangible aura of the room seemed too small for him, despite him being damn near on the other side of the room.

Kimitsuki looked over at Hayden and let a small smile fall on her face. She looked at Hayden, still smiling before she snapped herself out of it; this was no time to randomly be crushing on her leader. Kimitsuki walked towards one of the punching bags, placing a good amount of fabric around the entire thing, fire retardent fabric, and then rolled up her sleeves as she started to throw controlled punched at the middle of the bag, not really trying to show off or anything; just simply aquire better form and practice her punching.

Hayden brow would furrow as the energy around him began to warp, vibrating as he sought to tame this wild mixture of energy. A small amount of force began to be felt in the room, as if gravity was increasing before that energy spike receded. Around Hayden the rainbow of energy was merging into one solid aura which was flowing in a golden and blackened aura around him. It seemed to begin to recede back into him as a bead of sweat formed on his brow, his muscle tightening to bone as he felt his mental capabilities being pushed.

As Kimitsuki threw another punch, she felt the force of Hayden's energy; she stood tall, but, she was unable to move much as she stared at Hayden, hoping he was okay. Kimitsuki groaned under her breath as she both held affection for Hayden, but, knew she couldn't do much thanks to him being her leader; her technical king. Kimitsuki sighed, being bound by obligation and then by emotions of care and like sometimes sucked. The Danava turned back to the punching bag and started delivering punches that befit a supernatural being; the surface of the bag starting to get burned on it thanks to the slight influence of Kimitsuki's aura.

The energy would recede as the male visibly relaxed a large sigh coming out of his lips, falling onto his back as he panted a bit. The energy it took in preparation for his new journey was currently exhaustioning but not overly breaking him. His eyes would shift over to Kimitsuki as he sat up taking a death breath before sighing. "Hey Yo' you training here now?"

Kimitsuki got a little too focused as she threw one last punch, with her right hand, that sent her arm and hand into the bag; the material in the bag either burning or turning into glass for a couple of instants before Kimitsuki looked towards Hayden, her face going a little red as she was stuck for a moment. "O-Only recently, it's nice to come here where little other people are. Not really for the pervert reasons, but, more for some privacy that I can get; when I can of course. I'm guessing you have been for a while...?" She gave her arm a hard yank and pulled it out of the bag, the thing having a hole through the middle of it "Dammit... there goes another bag..."

"We have more." The male commented somewhat dismissively before pushing himself up walking over to the wall, where a pristine white towel rested. His hands stretching out taking the towel As he ran it over his face, along with his torso a bit cleaning himself off as he gazed to her. He was sure the little display wouldn't bother her, unless it did which would be- interesting. Never the less would would toss the towel onto his shoulder striding over to her, examining the hole and then looking to her. "If you came for privacy should I depart?"

Kimitsuki nodded at the comment, as it was true. She looked towards Hayden, her eyes gazing at his face before she noticed his muscle clad, sweat covered, torso; her face going red for a few instants as she looked away quickly to hide the redness and then try to regain her composure. She would have if Hayden wasn't right next to her, something about him... she couldn't shake her feelings. She sighed softly and shook her head slowly. "N-No, it's okay. You don't have to leave. You're better to be alone with than most people since I actually know you... So, no, please don't leave."

Hayden was by no means overtly observant but with the reaction presented in front of him a small smile began to play on his lips. There was a sort of playfulness between the two of them, one which admittably was perhaps mutual- but something held them back. Never the less, he would gaze at her with coffee color'd eyes before breaking contact. "I was just about finished her, what you plan to do?"

KImitsuki looked at Hayden with her red eyes, that same eye contact not being broken as she cleared her throat, trying, attempting, to regain her cool as she looked towards Hayden. IT was then that fantasies lept through her mind in instants, clouding her thoughts for a moment before Kimitsuki regained her composure and sighed. "I-I don't know, I wasn't sure what exactly I would do after I was done with what I was going to do here... Wh-Why do you ask..?" Kimitsuki always felt her nervousness crop up whenever she was around Hayden, something that annoyed her greatly, but, she was able to deal with it from time to time.

"Well, us two alone in this room could cause particular things to be said- to happen. That people would think would happen that is, maybe we should head out to somewhere a bit more private?" He suggested leaning on the wall slightly, his measured tone inviting as he offered a shrug. If anything he needed a shower and considering she was already someone who had been in his house- he didn't care if she accompanied him.

Kimitsuki's face slowly went red as he said those things, the red on her face basically starting from her chin and rising to her forehead until her entire face was as red as her hair. She looked away mid sentence, trying not to focus on Hayden as he was not helping her situation at the moment. "S-Sure... D-Don't want people assuming or anything. Lead the way, Hayden..." Her face was still red, and, hopefully, nothing dirty would occur; Kimitsuki wasn't exactly one for such things.

Hayden would offer a sheepish smile before pushing off the wall, his frame shifting as he began to walk out of the room. It would be a short trip from the hall to the outside domain of Vastime, the warm sun of Africa striking their bodies. In no amount of time they would arrive at the small home which was Hayden's- well one of his homes. This 'barracks' was his private house for days when he found himself stuck on base. "I'll be going in the shower, feel free to make yourself at home." He explained as he strided away into his room.

Kimitsuki sighed softly, her face still red, of course, as she couldn't offer a smile as she was trying to stop blushing. But, a small smile would slip in response to Hayden's own smile. She followed him to his home, ignoring any gazes or look that passersby may give them; she didn't care truthfully. She waited to actually relax until they were inside of the 'barrack'. Kimitsuki fell onto a chair, hopefully a soft one, as Hayden left to his room; stating he was to take a shower. She nodded softly and then leaned into the chair. She looked down at her shoes, those same heeled boots that she always wore. She sighed and slowly peeled them off, placing them neatly next to her. She sighed softly and crossed her legs, her feet covered with what appeared to be socks, but, matched fabric much more like that of stockings. She simply relaxed and waited for Hayden to finish in the shower, hoping he wouldn't walk out half naked or, god forbid, naked; that would not be good for Kimitsuki's health.

She would not recieve a Hayden that was naked but she would however remain sitting on the couch for twenty or so minutes before the door re-opened. Emerging from the door was Hayden in all his majestic glory, a pair of jogging pants and a towel in his hand. His hand currently using the towel to go through his hair as he walked straight passed Kimitsuki to his kitchen to get himself something to drink. Of course this mean she would get a full display of the torso of Desmond, among the taut flesh pulled over muscle was a series of scars and burns reflecting the history of the male. "Like anything to drink?"

During those twenty or so minutes, Kimitsuki fell into a state of near sleep; her eyes closed partially as her head lulled to her right a little bit, showing obvious signs that she was rather tired from something or another. At least, she was before she heard the door to Hayden's room open with Hayden emerging from it; once more revealing his muscle bound torso to her. Kimitsuki couldn't help but gain a slight tint of red to her cheeks as she looked at this spectacle in front of her, at least before she calmed down some and focused on Hayden's face; attempting to rid herself of the blush. "Sure... Water for now. If you don't mind..." the Danava gave off a soft yawn, shielding it with her hand as she rubbed any of the tell-tale signs of yawning from her eyes; random tears. She then simply relaxed, her legs still crossed and her shoes off.

In that moment he would return with a can of some type of soda for himself and a water bottle for herself. However he would let out a cough at seeing her in such a state, it was at that moment Hayden realized a dark secret about himself- stockings where quite the pleasing site. Kimitsuki smiled at Hayden and thanked him for getting her the water. She then blinked as he coughed, unsure why he did so before he made his comment. She blushed a little before looking at him, a slight red hue on her face once more. "Well... they aren't exactly stockings, but they're close enough... I'm surprised you haven't said that about the Shifter Form I use for Vastimian business; I wear stockings in that form as well..." she pressed her fingers together for a moment, the read hue on her face darkening as she swallowed softly. "Th-Thanks though... and if you banned them I wouldn't be able to wear them anymore; and you wouldn't be able to see them~" there was a slight bit of teasing to her voice, her face still red. @Caprificus

"Maybe with your shoes off I can actually admire them fully." He commented with a laugh opening the drink taking a gulp, before placing in on the table. He knew of those shifter forms, demons so often fancied and what not. "I suppose I shouldn't ban them then should I?" He questioned the teasing nature not unnoticed by him. "Then again, maybe I just find you blushing all the time endearing."

She chuckled as their teasing went back and forth before Hayden stated that he endeared her blushing all the time; her blush increasing. "I-It doesn't help you always make me blush! You being shirtless doesn't help either!" She blushed still, looking at him with her red eyes. She then mumbled nearly inaudibly. "N-Not that I dislike it or anything...."

Hayden was by no means a man who hid how he felt most of the time, in fact one dare say he wore his heart on his sleeve. So as Kimitsuki spoke his arm would lift up becoming draped around the back of the couch, behind her back as well. The mocha color'd eyes of Hayden looking at her intently almost as if searching for some sort of alternate motive. Yet, whatever result he found seemed to satisfy him as he spoke- this time his voice low almost daring in its line of questioning. "Kimitsuki are you attracted to me?"

Kimitsuki's body went rigid upon the question falling upon her ears; a question that felt so heavy it hung in the air and slammed into her shoulders, pulling her down. Kimitsuki swallowed roughly and sighed, twiddling her thumbs as her face went redder than before; her body language showing the embarrassment. "I-I-I don't know... I mean, I am, but, I dunno; I mean--- ugh... I am attracted to you, but, I'm not sure..."

Hayden eyes watched over he carefully almost to see if something was amiss, it was not everyday someone like this spoke. The fact he held such authority over her and many of her compatriots didn't lessen this taboo either. But be it out of foolishness, bravado, or just his general personality a light hearted smile would come on the king's face. "That's fair I suppose. I must admit in some capacity I feel the same, confusion included." He mused shifted forward a bit, perhaps some heat coming to his face ever so slightly before he forced it down. "I'm in the process of figuring things out, with the world going crazy- I figured it was time to start exploring these emotions. I think you are someone I'd like to figure this out with."

She sighed softly, her face still red as she was tempted to go into her Berserk state to escape her emotions to think; but, she may as well speak her heart and mind. "I--I need to figure it out too. I really don't know either. I like you, and I like some others, but, I don't know what to do about it. This isn't exactly something I was taught or learned..." she sighed softly before looking at Hayden and then sighed. "S-Sir, as much as I would love to be with you; I don't know if we can given your position. It could cause turmoil... b-b-b-but... I would love to figure it out with you as well." "Good, because trouble is the last thing I or this nation needs." The male mused out loud before leaning back standing up, rotating his neck before looking down at her. He was a cautious man, who at the end of the day held an assortment of other motives-motives which he did not see Kimitsuki fitting into sadly. While a dear friend and someone he could confide to, the fact of the matter was she came with a sort of baggae he could not at this moment embrace. "Do what you must, Kimitsuki. I can tell you, promise you, that right now- potentially for the remainder of my life I could not give you poetic dreams and wanton nights. Instead, being with me would result in sleepless nights wondering if I am alive- playing second fiddle to my work, and being in constant danger." The male informed her his eyes closing briefly taking a breath, one which seemed heavy with multiple thoughts. "Once I was a young man barely seeing the world for the first time, now I'm an old soldier. I think you'll understand that one day, I'm still learning about life." "So if you want the truth Kimitsuki, I can't give you what you want most likely. I think the life I have, I think the things I do make it hard for any idea of us to work out. I like you, I truly do. I think in some capacity I may even feel that strange fondness called 'love.' But it would be the most selfish move I have ever made if I was to bring you in, bring my lips to yours, and let that passion overtake me."
"You deserve better than me, you deserve someone who can be there a way I can't. It is for that reason I must confess this, even though it feels like a cheap shot to my gut right now." He would close the calloused hand into a fist, the skin pulling taut as it went white before relaxing- taking a knee in front of her as he rested it on her thigh softly. "Look at where you started, look where you are now. The fact you are here and able to share this with me is a miracle, so all I ask- the only selfish thing I will ask of you: Is to stay alive Kimitsuki Yamamoto."(edited)

Kimitsuki stared at Hayden, a single tear slowly rolling down her face before she chuckled, grabbed Hayden's shoulder, and kissed him; drawing out the kiss for a rather long time. "Alright... that's fine, but, I'll at least have that; and just that will be fine... well, almost." Kimitsuki sighed softly, not longer blushing as she reared a single arm back, and slammed it into his shoulder. Kimitsuki was glaring at him now, tears rolling down her cheeks. "If you're gonna tell me not to die, you better not die either!!" She placed a hand on his hand, which was currently on her thigh. Kimitsuki sniffled softly, not wanting to let go of what they had; but, knowing she had to since being with Hayden was only a dream. It was just that, a dream. She sighed softly at him saying she deserved better than him. She chuckled at him, telling her that she deserved better when he was already pretty damn good. Kimitsuki groaned before she leaned over, placing her head on Hayden's head as he still knelt in front of her. She exhaled a shaky breath as tears slowly rolled down her face as she gripped Hayden's hand, which was on her leg, before sighing softly and letting herself calm down. She had a few more sniffles before she pulled a little bit away from Hayden. "I'm glad you told me... better than eternal wondering, but, still... Stay alive Hayden, please."

The kiss in all it's unbashed glory caught Hayden off guard enough for the male to visibly be shaked by it, before he soon found himself emerged in it. The hand not on her thigh coming to be placed on her cheek with a wanton fury, almost as if this might be the alpha and omega to this moment, to never share again. It was passion. It was rage. It was emotion. The overwhelming energy of Hayden and Kimitsuki pouring into this one kiss which would only be but a few moment before it become encapsulating in his life- this was now. As she pulled away, or was it him? He didn't quite know to be honest. But the moment was still lingering on his lips, his calloused hand among the silken skin of Kimitsuki. The small glare she gave him enough to allow his shoulders to relax slumping lightly as the first slamming into his shoulder. Ig only he could make the promise he would not die, if only he could be the person she needed- despite being the man she may want. So instead he would give her a simple smile, the mocha irises of Hayden dipping down as tilted his head away. The hand tightening on her leg before relaxing as he looked up. "Love and life doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints, nor does death. We keep on loving despite knowing we will eventually die." The mused softly to her allowing this tender moment be a chink in the hardened armor of Hayden. "For all my life I've been facing an uphill battle, but not now. Instead, I am waiting for it. I am-
the only thing I can control in this life; everyone who has loved me has died. If I still walk carrying their name, my parents left my a legacy to protect." He gushed to her as he stood up a bit this time his hand coming off her leg slowly enclipsing it's self around her other palm resting on her cheek. "There must be a reason I am still here, there must be a reason I met you-" He had to stop because what he wanted to say was reckless, but as he was this close to her he couldn't help but think it. Shadowfall can have all the demons, because this one, this one is mine.

Kimitsuki sniffled as she slowly suppresed her tears, staring up at the taller man as he stood; her red eyes peering into his hazel ones. Answers, that's what she wanted; but Hayden had already answered them with immense ease. She rubbed her nose and then gave Hayden multiple, extremely light, punches to the shoulder as she slowly surpressed her tears and then stared into his as as she rubbed into his hand softly. Kimitsuki let out a shaky sigh, as she placed her hand on his before she stood up slowly. Kimitsuki pulled Hayden into a hug and let another sigh permeate her breath. "Hey... You-You'll still at least give me hugs, right...?" Kimitsuki exhaled shakily before she slowly let go of Hayden and fell back onto the couch, staring at him with eyes that truly wished for them to be together; but, of course, it likely could not happen thanks to their situations. She sighed and looked at Hayden once more. "Tell me... If it wasn't for what was happening now, the possible war, this conflict, everything; could us be possible? Or would you believe yourself still to not be able to be good enough for me; when I believe you are..." Kimitsuki let a sigh escape her lips before she chuckled, it was all bitter-sweet. She kinda wanted this to happen, for him to be that one to actually go with; but, it seemed to be wrong. She looked at Hayden, wishing for another kiss, but, knowing it would not happen thanks to the nature of all of this. She let a soft sigh escape her once more as she slumped backwards into the couch. She could feel herself wanting, trying, to creep into her Berserk State to escape the emotions she felt; but she really couldn't. Kimitsuki sighed one last time. "There is a reason we met, Hayden. I don't know what it is, but, there has to be some reason... and I am so damned glad I did meet you... Look at where we started..." she smiled slightly despite the small tears that ran down her face, she looked at Hayden and could only smile, ever so glad she met him.

"Of course." The simple words where his soft affirmation about the hugging situation, one he could not simply give up. The smokey smell of her skin, akin to burning coals was a welcomed scent to him. So he held her. He held her as long as she would allow before allowing her to go back down onto the couch slouching down as he eventually fell next to her. Could they have been something, could in some twisted way they could even work out now? Those where the questions posed to the male as he hands rested on her's, wondering if he should even open his mouth to address this. Truth be told he was afraid, afraid of not being loved when he died- of not having loved enough in this short life. In this crazy life, could something even work? "Maybe. Maybe in some fashion I would be able to dedicate maybe even now it could work. Everything that tries to kill me makes me feel so alive, I'm so afraid of dying unloved- of having not loved enough. I am ready to lay my life down if Vastime requires it but I am entirely afraid I haven't done...enough." The hushed voices washed over them as he inched to her resting his hand on her cheek, his forehead coming against her's. There was something sinful, something beautiful about this moment. "I'm afraid, of not doing the right thing. I just... don't know."

Kimitsuki lightly bit her lip as she continued to hold onto Hayden with that hug until they both eventually fell onto the couch. Kimitsuki sighed softly and simply took in Hayden's scent, not saying a single word for a moment. Kimitsuki let a small sniffle escape her, at least, before she leaned against Hayden and slowly wrapped her arms around him. "Hayden... You will never die unloved. I will make sure that you don't die unloved..." Kimitsuki bit her lip softly before she could only sigh, her body had very tiny, and slight, shudders as she held Hayden tightly. She gave one last sigh before she stared into Hayden's eyes, her lips likely rather close to his. "I want it to work so badly, I can feel myself wishing it to; wanting it to. But, I have a feeling that, unless things tone down, you and I likely can't happen; but, that doesn't mean I don't... that I don't... I-I..." Kimitsuki sighed softly, as she softly placed another kiss on Hayden's lips, probably something so ridiculously sinful to kiss your own leader; but, Kimitsuki had lost multiple cares in the world at the moment. She was with someone she loved, but, she couldn't help but feel that small part of her wanting to follow what she had pledged for Vastime. But, this was Hayden... "I don't know either, Hayden. So many parts of me say yes, others say no; it all mixes up into uncertainty..." Kimitsuki slowly pressed a little closer to Hayden, inching closer and closer as she too had placed a hand now on Hayden's cheek. She just knew this moment was fleeting, beautiful, sinful; but it likely wouldn't last. Hopefully, nothing bad would happen.

"Yes." The fever'd pitch of his voice came out softly between the two warriors, a firm solid push against her as they laid on the couch. With all her words having been spoken how could the male not allow this moment of weakness to be realized, yes this was wrong- it was wrong in all the right ways. He wanted her, he wanted this- he wanted to secure the world and his legacy. By the saints, the man wanted more than he should. "That's what's bringing to me right now, that tonight- tonight it is yes." The male mused out loud as his body rested against her's nearly encompassing her. His breath cold, strangely enough- a side effect of a battle fought long ago. "If only for tonight, if only for tonight." He muttered almost in a repetitory manner wondering himself even what he meant. "If you say I will never die unloved, then prove it." He challenged softly to the girl, his forehead lifting off of her's slightly as the hazel irises burned into her. Kimitsuki bit her lip before she looked away from Hayden for a moment, in just that moment, the girl's heart leaped into her throat; the organ beating faster than it ever had before. Kimitsuki then heard him challenge her to not let him die unloved. Kimitsuki slowly turned her gaze to his, her face readenning slightly as she yanked Hayden into a kiss that was far more passionate than the first. After the kiss, Kimitsuki's red eyes bored into Hayden's hazel ones; clearly accepting his challenge with just actions. "I'll prove it to you... in ways that could only prove authentic..." Kimitsuki bit her lip as she pushed herself and Hayden off of the couch, leaving her on top now as she started to make out with the man; their lips remaining entwined for quite some time. Of course, other things could possibly occur, but, after all... Well, let's keep that secret.
