Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

Disclaimer: The characters featured are the same by appearance, but they are different from the original. The Alternate Story Series are primarily created out of boredom and remains separate from the main storylines, so that is why it is in OOC RP section rather than somewhere else.
_____Osaka is a small city and part of a wide community owned by the Caste Corporation, a multi-franchised, multi-billion yen company that owned every corner and grass blade of Japan. Its buildings are mainly apartment complexes, mansions, houses and small buildings since there were no needs for tall skyscrapers for businesses when there should just be one in the country. The Caste Tower in Karakura became the landmark of Japan as most of its operations took place there for political reasons. Corrupt politics, scandalous businessmen and liars around looking to scratch up every bit of yen they could muster within reason. One mansion in Osaka achieved fame as the home of a popular child star, Lil’Hanako who played as young Naoko in the popular radio drama series, “Mother’s Ailment.” Currently, it was in the morning as Retta dragged Little Shirou out of bed and into her truck’s bed with his recruit sword already at his side. Throughout his orientation presented by a good friend and someone who would have been his mentor if Shirou have such a big promise in his name, Caste Corporation was the bad guys who penny-pinched so many good people and put most in debt before sending out thugs to harass them. The only lucky few are the celebrities who gained the favor of Caste Corporation. Lil’Hanako was one of the few, but it was her father, Naoki Shikijou who was making deals to stay out of debt. Unfortunately, Shirou’s first mission was to eliminate Naoki Shikijou, so the people would realize that they are still not safe, even with the Caste Corporation protecting them. Shirou’s mission is the first and his initiation test. Should he succeed, he will be part of the elite Black-Ops soldiers who are little known as...

S.H.O.G.U.N.S.
Special
Heirarchal
Operatives of
General
Unionized
Neo-
Soldiers

Spoiler:
_____”Remember, Punk. We are soldiers, byproducts of the damned and some that people could easily forget.” Retta reminded Shirou as they enter Osaka, a small city that is believed to be the birthplace of the S.H.O.G.U.N.S., a special group of combatants formed through experimentations with the purpose of stopping a known company that held Japan’s economy with an iron grasp. Retta was the eldest and proclaimed the most successful subject, making her being the strongest of the SHOGUNS. However, she is also known to be the strictest of the group as she expects perfection and no less of it. One unsettling rumor about her; she killed a member of SHOGUNS for disobeying a direct order and Shirou was the one who is going to replace that member. “This exercise practices the Hierarchal aspect of our position. We are the few who stood between destruction and order. Everything we do is deemed necessary. For you, we can start off with meeting those who we are trying to protect from Caste Corporation’s blight.” Retta assigned upon Shirou before kicking him in the back and leave him there in the middle of the crowd to fend for himself.
_____The morning rise and only dimly lit the regal bedroom built upon the fame of her role. Lil’Hanako was only young by four years of age, yet her fame matured her to the point that she could hardly care about what is going on around her...she rather sleep till noon. However the maid and nanny, Kimiko came to her room and gently try to wake her. Seeing it did not work as Lil’Hanako shrugged it off like it is nothing, Kimiko turned around and opened the curtains. The light whistled into her mind as she squirmed by the sudden entry of sunlight. “Kimi-chan~! My eyes~!” Lil’Hanako groaned as she struggled under her blanket of her well-crafted canopy bed fit for four people. “Ako-chan, you still have to wake up or we’ll not be at the arcade before the crowd worsened.” Kimiko spoke with a gentle, caring tone. The word, “arcade” sprung Lil’Hanako out of her blanket with messy hair and an elated look that overwhelmed her drowsiness. She sat up on her bed with her pink pajamas. Kimiko reached into the pocket of her apron and pulled out a hairbrush that was thorough and recently cleaned just for Lil’Hanako. The brush shushes as it glides through and rearranged the strands of Lil’Hanako’s long, dirty-blond hair. During the brushing, Lil’Hanako and Kimiko acted like sisters as they conversed about going to the arcade. In the end, Lil‘Hanako’s hair looked the same as Kimiko’s jet-black hair. With a charismatic smile, Hanako looked with her bright blue eyes upon Kimiko’s jade eyes. Kimiko smiled back lovingly, knowing that it no longer was about paying off her debts with Caste Corporation.
_____After prepping for the trip to the arcade center downtown, Lil’Hanako and Kimiko walked out of the mansion nine AM sharp and departed for the center where everything any child can see would be exciting. Small crowds are around and earlier than Kimiko would expect. Something is wrong because she knows it as a child that it is too early for such a crowd. Lil’Hanako was slightly nervous since she was only a celebrity as a child voice actress for Caste Entertainment Channel, the company that bought the series and her career. Kimiko left Lil’Hanako on a bench before walking out to the crowd to investigate. What caught Kimiko’s eyes was the crowd’s focus, a single ring boasting with splendor upon the recently cleaned cement. Kimiko inquired to herself why people could not touch the ring. It looks expensively simple and unique looking with the engravings along its surface and inside. Silver or Palladium, it is nothing within Kimiko’s depth of insights. Tension was high and it felt like if Kimiko could reach for it, it would cause a chain of events, ending with her injuries or worse. She could walk away, but the shine on it was unnaturally centered by her innocent gaze. Something was not right about it and it would no longer be Kimiko’s problem if she could pull herself away from it. She was responsible for watching over Lil’Hanako...her duty was her salvation. She pulled away from the ring and looked upon Lil’Hanako on a bench, waiting for her to return so they could play in the arcade. The main reason for Kimiko to take Lil’Hanako out to the arcade was to bring her out of the mansion, see the world in her eyes instead of within a limousine that normally transport her to Tokyo to continue the series of “Mother’s Ailment.”
_____Lil’Hanako was young, but slightly tainted by fame, but her innocence was not touched yet, though the producer was being hard on her. She knows Kimiko was always there for her when she was upset or had a bad session with the personal tutor. Around her, natural scent of nature and hotdogs filled her senses with ambiguous thoughts about how it should have been. From what she learned from random conversations between adults, one side said that the Caste Corporation was helping mankind survive at their best when politics only wanted to keep them from living in freedom while the other side said that Caste Corporation was harmful to the nature that mankind depended on for mind, body and soul. None of that made any sense to Lil’Hanako, which often gives her a headache that she rather curled herself in Kimiko’s arms than to bear it. Now, she is with her nanny in a stroll through the arcade, where she could play games with Kimiko and meet new people who would be nice to her because she is herself, not the voice actress for Naoko, a daughter who was trying to bear the pain of knowing her mother would die soon. Even when during her acting, she cried and caused more blunders than any other actors because she could not get through the tough parts of the series. She looked to her left and she sees Kimiko walking with her while holding her hand while looking to the right, she noticed a boy being kicked to the ground and abandoned by a scary lady. Lil’Hanako looked and noticed that Kimiko has seen what happened to the boy and her face seemed tempted to walk over to the boy and help him. But like Kimiko, Lil’Hanako noticed a wooden sword by the boy’s side and gets the impression that the boy was knocked down like that because he was a bad boy. “Come on, Ako-chan. Let’s do some shopping before the games are starting.” Kimiko spoke in a gentle, yet necessarily manipulative tone to Lil’Hanako, wanting to keep Lil’Hanako away from the boy. “Hai!” Lil’Hanako agreed before willingly walked with Kimiko to the pharmacy store to get some anti-anxiety drugs for Naoki Shikijou and medicine to restock the medicine cabinets. But something bothered Lil’Hanako about that boy.
_____Kimiko lets go of Lil’Hanako’s hand so she could produce her wallet to pay for the drugs and Lil’Hanako, curious about the boy took the opportunity and wandered out of the drug store. She looked around and noticed the boy again. Innocent and curious about the new world around her and the boy, Lil’Hanako walked cautiously to the boy, making sure she has enough time to run away if the boy was violent. He does not look violent to her anymore; a trust that Lil’Hanako forced upon the boy. She continued to steadily approach the boy, wary of the consequences if she gets too close. She is now a few feet from the boy and was slightly nervous. Angst was dwelling within her heart as she gets closer and closer and closer to the boy. In her long winter coat, soft snow boots, mittens, scarf that covers her mouth and nose and a skullcap, Lil’Hanako was dressed to attempt in hiding from the public so they would not swarm her with autographs or unnecessary attention that would cause her to faint from stress. She looked upon the boy’s eyes with her bright blue eyes and dirty-blond hair peeking out of her coat. She was definitely curious about the boy.

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

Thu Feb 03, 2011 10:13 pm

Our young Shirou awoke, upon being dragged by the older woman, retta. He made a groan of uneasiness and something that enumerated slight laziness as well. Nonetheless, he knew when it was time to get around her, he had to be quick and less laid back. He was taken into the truck quickly, as they made their descent into the osaka district. He knew what he had to do, it's just he was always hesitant in these situations, and wasn't use to missions at all. Nonetheless, he knew one thing she always told him, business was business. So, with that he grabbed the recruit sword as he landed out of the truck, being pushed by that woman, before she drove off in the truck. He wasn't all that upset, but she could've at least warned him. the young boy looked around to see if he had garnered any attention from her little fiasco. Hopefully, he would be able to complete his mission, without fail. he was a hardened individual, more so because he was raised in a more strict upbringing. Thus, he was somewhat uneasy to be around. But not a angry type of person, just anti-social, and blind to the many wonders of the good things, that he had only heard of. Gripping the weapon tightly, he began to catch the glimpse of the young girls, but only for a second. They must've been thinking about various things about what he could be. a grunt, a thug, or anything else that was deemed within the bad boy category. He didn't care about it exactly, but it made him a bit nervous. Alas, he held his obedience to Retta, and knew he couldn't get distracted by all of the things in the city. as the two girls went into the store, he quickly jumped off the ground dusting his legs and outfit off. it was a basic uniform that consisted of a white tank top and kimono like pants, on the bottom. He sat down once again, to figure out what or where he could go to find the man. Or what clues would he have to go off of. To that, before he could get in deep thought, he seen that girl walking back out again. She was walking towards him curiously, and he had no idea of what to do. He didn't have much interactions with females, nor could he understand them very much, Retta being a prime example. But, he didn't feel threatened. He felt nervous, and that caused his cheeks to flair up as they became light red. "...." he couldn't muster up any words, she looked so different, from his appearance. Yet for her age, she was cute. He didn't know how he was going to go about this. She looked like she could get him into a bit of trouble, due to her being in a higher standing then he was. Yet, her innocence had lulled his movement. She didn't exhume any sort of evil, or the high and mighty rich girl persona. her innocent steps towards him, were void of anything that may have looked like bad intentions. He was both curious, yet he couldn't shake the nervousness as he moved back a bit, with a slight gulp. How would things go for this child?

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

_____Lil’Hanako noticed the sudden moment and stopped only for a short moment with a small gasp escaped her scarf. However, when she noticed that the boy was just as nervous as she is, it was bitter comfort for her in the winter. She finds it odd to see a boy in his white tank-top and Hakama in the middle of the wintertime. Her heart raced and Lil’Hanako has to take the scarf off to avoid shortening her breath. What was it that made her not runaway? She knows that he has a weapon and could probably hold her for ransom. Lil’Hanako finds it hard to explain to oneself why she—of all the better people she could have met than that thug—trusts him. Her bright blue eyes dominated the flushed porcelain face that felt to be smooth, clear ice that covered the pond in the park nearby due to the winter air preserving her youthful appearance. Lil’Hanako crouched down to a squat and studies him only for a little while before she spoken the words with a hint of bashfulness, “Who are you? I’m Hanako, but you can call me Ako~”
_____She was clearly just like Shirou; locked away from the world and was brought outside with nothing more than a figurative wooden sword to defend herself. Lil’Hanako knows that she is risking herself talking to him, but she is just innocently curious about the boy whom she would have not noticed, but she did. Her voice nearly sounded like Naoko in “Mother’s Ailment” and she knows it; she mentally prays that no one else would hear that and crowd around her. Lil’Hanako looked towards the crowd and noticed that they are still crowding around something that did not interest Kimiko, her nanny. When she looked back to the boy, she sigh some slight relief often mistaken for disappointment, knowing that they are not going to crowd her. She raised herself and tries to walk a tad closer to the boy. Obviously she was still just as nervous as he is. His blushing cheeks was probably more sensitive than Lil’Hanako’s as her cheeks began to light up very slowly as she gets a little closer to the boy. She felt like she should be there for him while he should be there for her as well.
_____Little by little, Lil’Hanako turns red with angst, remembering that if she is kidnapped or held hostage, her father would not be pleased. It is her father, Naoki Shikijou that brought her to fame as he was the producer of “Mother’s Ailment” while her manager. Without him, she would not be in a mansion, protected from the cold and the burning sun while childishly oblivious to the reality of how other people fared more unfortunate than her. She finally would be at the boy’s side and curiosity still plagued her face like a damsel oblivious to the upcoming capture. Her now rosy red cheeks were more visible with the blush bridging the gap by making a path of red over the bridge of her nose. Her bright blue eyes seemed to compliment the blushing while her lips were ajar as if she was trying to say something, but her voice is muted in anxiety.

Young Shirou, gulped even more, as his breath stopped for a moment. Why was she of all people walking towards the young boy?; Usually someone with her status, would look at him with a disgusted and twisted face of disdainfulness. Yet, her expression was nothing more, then curiosity and a sparkling and bright innocence. Shirou had no reason to feel threatened, for some reason he felt a bit lucky. Definitely a nice change, from the cold and somewhat uneasy glares of his mentor, Retta. He didn't know what he could say, or what he should say. Yet he felt at peace for someone to even be talking to him. he was speechless, she looked so youthful, and happy. His face was still twisted in a nervous manner, while he stared up at her. As to, cut the silence, and ease the minds of both of them, she spoke. Telling him her name. He blinked a bit, surprised. Yet, still nervous in mind. What could he say to her? she looked so much more different from him. she could easily get him into a troublesome situation, or maybe it could be a prank; But why did he find trust in those eyes? it was like he was enchanted for a few moments by the girl. Shirou didn't have a innate sense for hammering down a person's personality, at first glance. But, this girl didn't really strike him as dangerous, or scary. He casted all his thoughts of nervousness aside, feeling that he should say hello to her, in return. "H-Hello...I'm...S-Sh" he stuttered, through his sentences as he stood up. "I'm...I'm Sh-Sh" he wasn't use to talking to many people, nor did he quite know what the word polite meant, so he was walking on hot stones, albeit trying to keep himself from saying anything that might upset her. With as much bravery and strength he could muster, he spoke up. "I'm Shirou..." he said as he looked back at her, and into her eyes. His thoughts were completely enthralled, and drawn to this girl. his attention should have been on the mission, yet he wanted to hang around her. His curious mind, wondered if she would be the one, that could open up his slightly closed off heart, in this world. And make him a bit less anti-social, then he had grown to be growing up. He didn't even notice he still held the sword in his hand, a clear sign and sight of showing how much he had become entranced by her appearance, and by a sweet untainted innocence, that was unfathomable in the world that Emiya Shirou lived in. Would she be the one that finally showed him what it meant to have a friend? Never in his time, had he experienced friendship. He had seen many people play around with each other, but every time it came to him, he had to train. Training was always something he had to do, and arduous task's followed. Each regimen more difficult then the last. This, was definitely a breath of fresh air, that he needed.

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

_____After she gave her name, Lil’Hanako noticed that the boy blinked with a surprised look on his face. Was she too fast or too bold? She looked down and fumbled with her mittens. Her bright blue eyes remained in contact with the boy’s eyes. Maybe the boy was nervous when meeting a girl? Lil’Hanako gets that a lot with most boys. Are they nervous about talking to a radio celebrity, being with a pretty girl or they are just afraid of getting in trouble for messing around with someone of her social position? None of it was clear, but she kept quiet about that question. Her lips shut to a small, adorable pout while her eyes still clearly open with curiosity and the pair of frosted mirrors seemed to illuminate by the winter sunlight. Her eyebrows were raised a bit to a relaxed appearance. She looks sheepish as she thought she may have come out too quick for the boy to learn what is going on.
_____“H-Hello...I’m...S-Sh” The boy stuttered while getting onto his feet. Instinctively and tempted by an unknown force, Lil’Hanako lunged forward gently and grasped his left arm in attempt to pull him up. As she does it, Lil’Hanako skidded a bit on the snow, revealing that she was willing to help, but at the same time, she is not all that strong to begin with. However, Lil’Hanako made a tiny grunt before catching herself before she could fall. There was a pause which Lil’Hanako could understand since most boys failed to tell her their name. The boy was having trouble speaking his name because the person who kicked him...she must be doing terrible things to him that made him unable to trust. The boy looked at Lil’Hanako, straight in the eyes and a fire was evident in his eyes. Not violent...it is bright like a well-lit candlelight. “I’m Shirou...” Shirou introduced himself. She raised her head and her shyness seemed to fade the moment the sunlight revealed what the shadow of her dirty-blond hair was looming over; a smile that bears no malevolence.
_____“Shirou...Can you be my friend?” Lil’Hanako spouted the words clearly. Apparently the wooden sword does not scare her after she was already close to Shirou by a little more within arm reach. Ever since she asked Shirou if he could be her friend, she was fumbling with her mittens like a habit when an over-compulsive person would when washing their hands. She was not cold, but her nervousness was evident when her knees are vibrating within her nearly tight winter pants. Normally, she would wear a skirt as expected “for the sake of professionalism” or as her father puts it, “just to look nice for our supporters.” Lil’Hanako does not like skirts at all. She felt vulnerable in them while in pants, she could wear them all day and was not ashamed to wear baggy jeans, though she sees baggy jeans as something she would hurt herself in. Thus her habit of wearing tight-yet-comfortable clothing; complimenting, flexible, safe and something she could wear without being in a dirt magazine stalking her like they do to any celebrity ladies in skirts.
_____In truth, fame could never grant her friends; her chance with friends are regimented in schedules which every time she has a chance to talk to them, she was pulled away to attend autograph signing or a session of voice-acting as Naoko. Her fame actually took away her friends as her old friends wanted to use her fame to boost their popularity while her potential new friends did the same for the sake of having a competition with her old friends. She left school since it became more of a warzone between fake friends to her than somewhere she could make friends. Ever since then, she was tutored in her mansion by college professors that her father hired to tutor her personally. Shirou...Could he be the one who could help her feel less of an object of popularity and more of a person named, “Hanako Shikijou?”

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

"Shirou, will you be my friend?" Those words, they caused his heartbeat to get a bit faster, not because of nervousness, but because no one, had ever asked him that. Each time he would see young children enjoying the joys of childhood, and it's many wonders. Whilst, he had to train and stay locked up. To Retta, letting yourself hang around children, would make you lose your guard. He had to take all of these lessons, or else he would be on the receiving end of her not so nice discipline. That was always the evident truth. Yet, this girl asked him did he want o be her friend. It made his heart warm up. She didn't care about his appearance, or even how he looked. For him, she was a perfectly normal child. Despite, even having this sword in his hand. She stood tall and bravely, asking him that question. Shirou had teared up a bit, not because he was sad, or even angry. This was because he was happy, happy that she wanted him to be her friend. He wanted to experience friendship. He wanted to see how it was for the other children, who played catch. or even got out more, then he himself did. For him, this was a wonderful blessing. Something, that he had never dreamed could become reality. Yet, this girl had dispelled any doubts he had anymore. He looked at the blade in his hand and put it down. He got up to where she was located and had bared the most genuine smile he had ever had in his years. the tears still dropping down his cheeks. he hugged her, out of the kindness that she had presented him with. "I will be your friend....Hanako....will you be mine?" it was a strange question, but he wanted to hear those words from her, he wanted to be fully reassured that she would hang around the young boy. He may have experienced some dangers in the future, but right now his young mind was only concentrated on following this innocent girl.

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

Sat Feb 12, 2011 1:10 pm
Spoiler:

_____Lil’Hanako noticed that Shirou shed a bit of tears while unconsciously smiling and it tells her that he never has a friend before. It made her glad that she will be his first. Lil’Hanako does not know what he has been through, but suffered or not, Lil’Hanako has a new friend when Shirou accepted her kind hand. He even asked if she will be his friend. She smiled warmly when asked that and felt there was not a string attached or a fine print that she would be deterred by. “I will be your friend....Hanako....will you be mine?” It rings more than three times, and it never stopped. The voice from his lips sounded good to Lil’Hanako, causing her to nod, not caring about the consequences. “Yes. I will be your friend, Shirou-chan.” She spoke with hands behind her, her body bent into a cute posture and her smile with fox-closed eyes that never seemed to diminish. She is definitely happy to know that she made a new friend.
_____“Ako-chan!” Kimiko hollered to Lil’Hanako as she looked a little frantic at the sight of Lil’Hanako talking to the boy with a wooden sword, but Lil’Hanako knows that Shirou dropped that sword on purpose, because he does not have a reason to protect himself for a while. She turned her head to Kimiko and realized that Kimiko is ready to risk herself to protect her. “Kimi-chan! He’s my new friend!” Lil’Hanako pleaded. Kimiko stopped like the words from Lil’Hanako put up a wall between her and Kimiko. “Friend? But...the sword...I th-” Kimiko scrambled her speech in her own confusion; she was thinking about what just happened while she was getting medicine. Something did not add up for her; Lil’Hanako has friends, but ever since she became famous, she spends more time in the mansion. Now Hanako made a friend with a boy who has a sword by his side and acted like it was her first friend.
_____”Want to go to the arcade with me and Kimi-chan?” Lil’Hanako asked as Kimiko slowly approaches Lil’Hanako from behind. As soon Kimiko came to Lil’Hanako’s side, she studied the boy for a short time and noticed that the sword is not in the boy’s hand. She lowered herself and collected the sword as she looked at the boy. “My name is Kimiko, Hanako’s caretaker. You?” Kimiko introduced herself before Hanako blurted, “His name is Shirou, Kimi-chan!” Kimiko looked at Lil’Hanako as the girl blurted the name and nodded before looking back at Shirou. “Shirou. Pleased to meet you. You’re better than I thought back there.” Kimiko greeted with her hand held out for a handshake.

Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends Empty Re: Alternate Story Season 1: Childhood Friends

Shirou, was nothing but smiles, now. He finally had a chance to relax for a while, when he dropped that blade, he cast away any thoughts of assassination, for this girl right here. Now the only obstacle, was the caretaker, well not the caretaker herself, but rather the trust was the obstacle. "Great, i'm glad" he said, as he stood shyly, a bit away from her. He wasn't use to contact with anyone, so even being around females, made him feel nervous. There was only one female he was not nervous around, and that was Retta. Though, that was most likely due to her not being very kind. After all, after all the time they had been together, he knew what to expect, and how she worked. But, never once would he or did he complain. His hakama pants blew within the air, as he twiddled his fingers together. Slightly lost in his thoughts for a moment, he knew he was forgetting something, but due to the kindness of this girl, he couldn't keep his mind on anyone but her. His very first friend. He didn't want to forget her, even if he were to be pulled away right now, he wanted to keep these memories of the one who came to him out of nowhere, close to his heart. Deep inside, he knew he couldn't forget, even if he tried, because no matter what, this memory would be inscribed in his mind, even when he grew old. After taking some time, Kimiko had finally came out, which made Shirou a bit scared, would she scold Lil'Hanako, for befriended such a strange boy?; or a more frightening alternative, call the nearest police before being near her. he didn't leave out the options, until Hanako spoke up for him. Proving that he was harmless, and just needed a friend. After she listened to hanako, she came over to him and extended her hand. He extended his own and shook her hand and smiled at hanako, and shook his head a sure sign, that he wanted to go into the arcade, he looked back to kimiko, giving her questioning look, that asked, can i? While greeting her. He couldn't tell them about why he was here, but for some reason, he was starting to forget himself.

_____Kimiko looked at Lil’Hanako, questioning why she would take him to the arcade, yet the boy before her gave her a questioning look. Since it is the first time that Hanako gets a new friend, Kimiko has no choice, but to take him along as well. However, something struck Kimiko as odd when she looked at the wooden sword. Was he a delinquent? A survivor? What is it about him that intrigued Ako-chan that much? “You can come along, Shirou.” Kimiko answered to the boy with a smile. After the handshake between Shirou and Kimiko, Lil’Hanako became cheerful as she heard Kimiko allowing Shirou to come with them and she grasp Shirou by his hand and tug him with her to the arcade. Apparently, she does not care how surprised Shirou could be from the sudden tugging, but even when excited, that hint of innocence is ever present. She was definitely raised well although most child stars would be spoiled brats in reality due to fame inflating their ego, but Lil’Hanako, she was as poor as anyone else before she became a voice actress and her father reminded her so much of where she came from and it translated into her vanity that does not affect her kind heart.
_____Kimiko followed Lil’Hanako and the boy to the arcade, where games are blaring with bleeps, bloops and beeps followed by obviously fake explosions and gun fires. Deep electronic voices ring out the winners and game over’s like announcer of a major league game. Everything was vivid and stimulating for any child’s guilty pleasures. Parents are around to watch their children play while teenagers hang out with friends. Kimiko talked to the cashier while Lil’Hanako was standing behind Kimiko and beside Shirou, still holding his hand with innocence emitted from her smile. Both Kimiko and the cashier laughed together as if they are catching up in their past. The cashier was scratching his short cut hair and his goatee bends with his lips while Kimiko blushed a little when speaking about something back during her high school years. It seemed possible that they dated each other before. “Alright, D’all. I’ll cut ya sum slack. Here ye go. Now, git goin’ while the day is young for the youngins’.” The cashier spoke to Kimiko. “Thank you, Hikaru-chan.” Kimiko replied before turning to show a small bag of golden coins used to bring the arcade machines to life. Knowing that Lil’Hanako cannot carry it well, she hands the bag to Shirou, trusting him like Lil’Hanako trusts Shirou. “Where shall we start, Shirou?” Lil’Hanako asked Shirou.
