A request had been sent his way via a certain colleague to help train someone. They needed training in endurance mostly and this was certainly easy to do. Tsubasa sat before a stone table within Mongolia, having prepared his home. Sitting beneath the cherry blossom tree he waited. Food sat outstretched across it along with beverages for the visitor. Standing at the ready were attendants among other things. Understanding the way to train the body without exposing her to undue risk. He would give her a word to say when she could handle no more. This was how he would deal with it trying to make her focus on dual purposes. She needed to look beyond the horizon and see more. Endurance was but a single stage of the mentality of a person. Endurance meant so many things truthfully. From watching something you dislike to maybe eating food you couldn't handle. Physical Endurance and Mental Endurance were important which is why chess was brought out. He would help her study both and educate her on the moves available from things.

Tsubasa had his sleeve curled up as he was painting a picture. He'd taken up Japanese Calligraphy as a boy and used it to refine his swordplay. This was building upon a foundation and stabilizing what made him breathe. Occasionally he'd offer a Haikou or something akin to a poem for those who went by. Creativity was something Tsubasa had little trouble with. He was in the middle of painting a lunar eclipse with a sun on one side. The sun's contrast shone beautifully in the picture as he painted it. Keeping his hair out of his eyes as he continued to color and make sure it looked right. Finishing it up just before the time the female would arrive. Awaiting her at the entrance was a female dressed in traditional Yukata as for summer Festival matters, but most his attendants wore such. Upon her arrival, they'd guide her into the Koi pond where he was located. Tsubasa sat awaiting her on his cushion. He'd allow her to get comfortable before he began.

Explaining in portion why this would be a test of endurance mentally and physically. Also giving her a word to say if she needed air or room to breathe. As it was possible to break under the strain of this pressure coming out. Tsubasa sipped from his cup enjoying a nice cup of Jasmine Tea.

Well... This was a rather interesting thing to go to. Toshiko did indeed want to know how to control her most recent, and basically accidentally created, configuration; being her Raid Configuration that she had created/unlocked in Chicago in defense of her friends and that city. Of course, ever since then, she had been left with the inability to use the configuration of her Vollstandig, not without a splitting headache being incurred near after attempting to use the configuration. However, she also got a lasting reminder that the power was taking some sort of a toll on her; being that her hair was slowly turning blonde.

Toshiko did remember the destructive power of the Configuration, which was why she was drained for near months after Chicago, but she also remembered that the hair of the configuration was blonde, and rather long; hung up into a high pony tail of a sorts. But, that was all she could really remember of the Configuration. Toshiko sighed softly as she continued to walk along, gently touching the patch of blonde that now occupied a quarter of her hair; being the back right area of her head, give or take. It would have been impossible for Toshiko to know if what was happening was malicious or not; but she did have a hope it was not so. Regardless, it did take a toll on the Quincy girl. Not enough to make a difference completely, but, waking up tired most mornings of the week was a bit of an issue.

As Toshiko's high heeled knee-high boots clacked on the ground thanks to how Toshiko walked, the Quincy girl drew closer to the place she was meant to meet who she was training with. Tsubasa was his name, if she was remembering correctly, and she was a little confused why he wanted her to come to dinner and what may transpire it. Toshiko also felt that Mongolia was an interesting place to live, but, she would not critique a man's life when it was his own to live.

Toshiko soon arrived at the entrance to where Tsubasa seemed to live. Waiting there was an attendant, she looked kinda cute too, wearing a traditional Yukata. Toshiko wasn't sure if it was due to the festival or if because Tsubasa wished them to dress like this. She simply pushed aside the thought as she watched the attendant bow. Toshiko blinked at this, the hesitation clear as it had been a while since she'd use the formality she learned as a kid. Soon enough, Toshiko took a bow before it was noticed she didn't. Rudeness was not intended, of course, she simply messed up on accident and was unaware that she would have to use her old habits once more.

The Quincy soon straightened, her sunglasses and hat having not been present on her head, so they needed no correction. The attendant soon beckoned for Toshiko to follow, which she did. After all, it was impolite to not accept an invite inside. Toshiko nearly walked further in before she halted and looked around to see if there were slippers and a place to put her shoes; which it seemed there was not such. Toshiko made sure her boots were clean enough and quickly followed the attendant. If they were inside, it would not be for long as they were soon in a different area of the home. It could be a backyard, or simply a yard; regardless, it was very appealing to the eyes.

Toshiko's eyes scanned the surrounding area, soon falling upon the Sakura tree. Toshiko let a fond smile adorn her lips as she stared at the petals that slowly fell from the tree. She let a soft sigh escape her as she looked towards the man that was sitting at a stone table under the same Sakura tree. Toshiko looked towards the attendant, not sure if she was still being led and took a tentative step forward. If she wasn't stopped, Toshiko would simply walk forwards until she was about 5 feet away from Tsubasa, and the Quincy girl took a bow.

"Hello Tsubasa, I'm Toshiko Kamenashi; It's nice to meet you. And thank you for accepting to train me. I apologize for this question, but, what may this dinner be for? I don't mean to be rude... I've just never been to dinner before training..."

Toshiko slowly came out of the bow and then stood there still, waiting for Tsubasa to offer her a seat so she wouldn't be rude to take a seat without permission. Even if the seat was open for her, she was in the presence of someone who was not only her elder, but was also someone who likely could cut her down if she offended when not meaning to. Toshiko then just waited, simply waited for Tsubasa to tell her she could sit or simply state something else. After all, Toshiko may be a little crude, but she hasn't forgotten her respect or manners.

Tsubasa sat enjoying his tea when the girl in question arrived. Her manners were excellent that made this easier. He gave her a traditional greeting bow of his head. Manners were a lost art in this age but enough grumpy old man he thought. "Greetings Kamenashi-San, I would be happy to answer your questions. I am going to expose you to my spiritual pressure, while we enjoy a meal. This way you can work on a different kind of endurance. The safety word is Sakura, say it if you need a breathe or air and I will bring my power back under control." He decided to wait and let the female get settled. Tsubasa wasn't going to plunge her into the ocean yet. That wasn't going to help or do anything for her endurance. She needed to be ready and prepared he explained it as traditional Japanese meals were laid around her. Along with beverages on the table. He gestured for her to eat as he would let her settle in. Tsubasa admired the tree here in Mongolia, it was something of a sign the Unabara seemed to have.

They grew where ever the Unabara roamed and called home. Tsubasa enjoyed them for the comfort of naps and such. He was a strange man on those occasions. Most people had to see him as Tsubasa the leader. Not Tsubasa the person who was slightly eccentric and believed in action. But as he'd taken the time to notice the blooming and things around him. He'd begun to realize the world changes in its flow. After allowing her five minutes to relax, he exhaled a soft breath. " Get ready Kamenashi-San, I am going to release my spiritual pressure. Remember Sakura is the word if you need a moment, I also have medics and things on hand if injuries should occur." Tsubasa said as he watched her making sure she was prepared for it. Once she confirmed such it was time for him to begin as he noticed his addressing of her. Tsubasa was respectful to her as a visitor and decided to show that nature of himself. His Japanese heritage had become more important to him as he grew.

An ocean perhaps would be the best way to explain his spiritual pressure as all at once the entire place lit with it. Tsubasa's body didn't move an inch as he released the massive torrent of spiritual pressure out now. Letting her experience the rich full nature of his energy. He watched her closely to make sure she was alright. Observing her closely not being rude though in how he did it. Tsubasa's spiritual pressure was someone who'd worked hard. To gain the power and energy he did was a long road. It wasn't something that came easy for anyone who sought it. She was feeling the weight of a Captain Commander's spiritual pressure. A man who once lead the Gotei 13, he didn't let his pressure go anywhere else. Focusing it on her as the pound rippled slightly he slowly gestured with his hand. Causing a kido barrier to form around them, protecting the home now."I'd rather not have to redo my pond, so I'll put a barrier up to protect the outside from side effects."

Tsubasa slowly took up his tea sipping from it as he enjoyed some traditional foods. This wasn't traditional training in the slightest as it was a method he did use. Endurance was important for most people but it was more than just physical. Tsubasa was teaching her mental and physical endurance at the same time. "Kamenashi-San, I rarely explain my methods but allow me the rare indulgence. This method I developed to strengthen both your body and mind. It may take some time, but you will experience growth this way.But also you won't go hungry either as the cakes are quite tasty. My daughter enjoyed Daifuku especially as I recall." He said gesturing to the rice cakes filled with sweet filling. How many moons had it been since Kamenashi-San experienced a traditional Japanese setting? Tsubasa wouldn't push too far on the subject of the Quincy families. He understood the situation with them was still in the baby stages of repairing. His clan had forgone the war and decided not to get involved in that madness.

Ironic though since his occupation at the time was murder he thought to himself quietly.

Toshiko slowly took a seat across from Tsubasa, slowly sitting on her legs so that she was sitting up straight, staring directly at Tsubasa. Of course, she looked at the food and prevented herself from immediately eating it like she hadn't eaten in months. No, she, instead, picked up her chopsticks, used the back of the chopsticks, the wide end, to pick up food and then place it on the platter in front of her. Just as Toshiko was about to put a piece of Sushi in her mouth, she heard what this all was for. She sat there for a second, her mouth partially open, before she placed the sushi in her mouth quickly, ate it, and then put her chopsticks down.

"Your full spiritual pressure huh...? Dear god it will be a wonder I don't crumple like a tin can... Alright, I'm ready. Or at least as ready anyone could be when it comes to feeling the spiritual pressure of a rather powerful being."

It would be a lie to say that Toshiko wasn't scared; she sure as hell was, because, if she lost the capability to speak during this "exercise" there is a good chance she could get injured badly. Toshiko attempted to brace herself, not knowing what she may feel as she has never really been in the presence of energy levels much greater than her own; it was always Niflheim or others of equivalent tier of herself. Even then, Toshiko has never felt giant fluxes of energy big enough to make her feel like she was being crushed; this would be the first time, and she truly had no idea how to deal with it. Toshiko then took a deep breath and prepared herself for what was to come next, giving Tsubasa a nod to tell she was ready.

Yet she could not have been prepared for what she felt. One could possibly characterize it as an ocean being dumped on their head constantly; fighting against the water but being taken under fast enough that fighting against the current is futile. That's what it felt like to Toshiko, an ocean being dumped on her head; barely being able to breath as it cascaded down her head, shoulders, her entire body. If she wasn't already sitting, Toshiko would have crumpled to her hands and knees. Hell, she had to keep herself from being crushed by it by holding herself up.

It was hard to think of what to do, and, not to mention, it was also hard to call on her energy. It was not because of the situation, but because of what was happening since Chicago. Toshiko hadn't been able to harness her energy properly, and, by not being able to do so; it limited her greatly. Of course, that doesn't mean she is unable to harness her energy, it is simply difficult to do so without due preparation. Since there was not much due preparation, Toshiko would look to be struggling. Hell, it makes sense for her to be struggling since she was basically buried under an ocean. She coughed, choking on her own spit for a moment when she tried to breath. Physically, it was an extreme pain, her brain wanted to cry for release, but, she had to keep her wits about her and think clearly; easier said then done, of course.

As Toshiko focused and attempted to focus her energy so she could access it better, she tried a little something. She, obviously, was having troubles with this energy; barely being able to fight against it as she had to push against the table in front of her. Hell, she was unable to eat food due to not wanting to choke. However, Toshiko had a plan of a sorts. Whether it worked or not would be a bit of a stretch. Basically, Toshiko would be attempting to form super dense reishi around her and attempt to force it to push in the opposite direction. After a little bit of focus, and strain, Toshiko was able to gather the reishi necessary and use it to push against Tsubasa's spiritual pressure. However, it wasn't too effective. After all, it was simply pushing against the energy and it wouldn't fully relieve Toshiko, the breathlessness she would be feeling would still be present regardless.

The strain on Toshiko's mind and body was rather ridiculous, her head hanging and sweat dripping down her brow as she attempted to fight against the energy. Of course, without really noticing it, her hair was also slowly turning more and more blonde. It was slow, of course, but, the blonde was slowly creeping around every bit of hair. Toshiko soon attempted to sit up straight and could feel her body giving way; she could hold herself no longer. Through clenched teeth she breathed the word that was the safe word.

"S-S-Sakura..."

As soon as Tsubasa would draw back his reiatsu Toshiko would inhale rather loudly and then try not to fall forwards onto the table from exhaustion. She looked at Tsubasa, sweat still running down her brow, more of her hair blonde now, but, only a a bit more.

"J-J-Jeez, it's a good thing I'm not too weak, otherwise I am sure that would have literally broken me. Hell, too long and it may have... M-Mind giving me a few minutes to eat some food before we continue...?"

He focused on her listening to everything, anything that even looked like an attempt. He would pull his energy back, he knew she was trying hard. Putting effort forward to gain and attempt to become something. She was building endurance here, each sweat he could count on her. It was a testament to her strength. Her will to remain sturdy under such a power was impressive. Tsubasa saw her sit up gritting her teeth as he heard the word. There was no delay his pressure dropped and attendants came quickly. Medical attention being rendered on her body quickly to restore lost stamina among other things. Tsubasa leaned back a bit relaxing his frame. Unleashing that amount of power was the beginning for her. Someday she would progress and stand before him unaffected. But for now, she'd done well for her first experience. He'd never met her leader but he guessed she didn't quite clock in where he did. Tsubasa wasn't certain of the might Quincy had these days. But it was rude to treat anyone like they were less.

"Nicely done Kamenashi-San, you endured it longer than most would of." He said praising her efforts as he dropped the energy from his form. Letting it go almost instantly he'd taken away what was once there like an Ocean. Tsubasa's control and skill at manipulating and building his spiritual pressure up and letting it out. This was what some said defined him as a person, though this was far from the truth. Considering how skilled he was with his blade among other things. " Eat and rest, no one said we had to do this in a single setting. We can take our time and let you build up to it over time." He said calmly and nicely as he pushed his hair aside. Watching the koi in the pond swim around. His eyes didn't falter from her till he let her eat. Plenty of food was here from Japanese culture and cuisine. People often didn't care for this way he lived with things. But his clan's roots were tangled into the Japanese culture. This was what they lived for in the long run.

The tea ceremony was something that was an interesting practice. Tsubasa's expression was somewhat sad as he smiled. "Do me a favor though, don't aim for power like this..For it cannot help you do what is most important. Power doesn't have what anyone seeks. They just don't realize it while they seek it..Once you get there it becomes painfully apparent." He said softly as he reflected on himself before. So many things he'd try and change around now. But what little could be done would need time. Tsubasa's name may have been infamous and confident in one field. But his beliefs and practices were different. He warned against seeking power simply to seek power. That it wouldn't grant the desire most people had in truth.

Toshiko breathed heavily as she listened to Tsubasa, her stamina slowly being replenished as those healers were tending to her body. Luckily, they may only find a few strained muscles and maybe a tiny crack to a bone here or there; nothing too intense, of course, but it was certainly some as Toshiko wasn't completely resistant to such pressure. She nodded at the healers, smiling at them as soon as they finished tending to her; her ears taking in everything Tsubasa said no matter what. She soon nodded at him and picked up her chopsticks again and started to eat. It may be rude to eat like so, but, after expelling such amounts of energy, her stomach was wanting some food in it.

After Toshiko finished at least ten pieces of sushi, she burped silently, or at least tried to, blushed a tiny bit from the burp, said 'excuse me' and then looked back at Tsubasa. She thought on his words and then nodded at him once more, not to continue, but, a confirmation of his words.

"Th-Thank you... I don't think I could have lasted much longer without serious injury of a sort. By the way, the food is delicious, it's been a while I've had food from my homeland... again, thank you."

Toshiko smiles at Tsubasa and eats a few more pieces of Sushi before she heard his comment about power. She chewed her food and swallowed it and could not help but let out a soft chuckle at the notion. If Toshiko was doing things for power, she wouldn't even be here right now; if she was power building she'd be off fighting army's alone, something like that. She gently brought her right hand up to the patch of blonde hair on the right side of her head, which now occupied about 1/3 of her hair.

"I'm more worried about gaining control. I recently got a new addition to my Vollstandig, the Quincy release as you may know, and I haven't been able to control it; nor my energy as well as I used to. The form seemingly demands a large amount of energy passively; or it is not completely melded with my being as, whenever I harness energy, this worsens, my hair turns more and more blonde. I don't know why, but, I would like to gain control before all of my hair is blonde... if I can."

Toshiko let her hair fall back down slowly, easing it down instead of flopping it around as she was eating at the table. She sighed softly, not knowing that her hair turning blonde was a way for her energy to balance itself out between her normal calm energy to the more destructive and wild way her energy becomes when in her Raid Configuration. Regardless, she still did wish to control the form as she needed it to protect better and even control her energy again. Regardless, power was not of her concerns. She picked up her drink, likely some sort of tea, and sipped it slowly. She soon placed it down and then looked at Tsubasa.

"Mind if I ask something...? Why might you be asking be not to do this for power? While I am not, as I do not wish for power, I do have to wonder why you ask."

Toshiko looked towards Tsubasa, curious but not forcing an answer. She just wished to know, but, did not force an answer in any way. After all, Toshiko was not the kind to force something when she needed not to. Regardless, she wished for an answer and simply waited to see what Tsubasa would say.

Her question reflected a purity so rarely seen these days. Tsubasa merely smiled sadly as he poured a cup of water into a basin in front of him. Filling it up he began to speak. "Because power comes in three ways for those who hunt it. This basin here represents a seeker of power, I will show you what happens to the water within..for each circumstance. " He said softly before submerging his hand and pushing down softly causing water to overflow. "The first method is training, training till you just stop being you..It causes things to flow out but you don't notice it..Till much later that you've lost something dear to you." He removed his hand slowly as the metaphor was to continue. Next, he began twirling his fingers in the water causing a cyclone of water to spin within the basin. " Power through great pain draws in those around you who were important. But for some reason everything becomes distant, you lose sight of loved ones and friends. Like a spinning vortex of pain, they are sucked in." He said stopping now the next thing he did was a bit surprising.

He tapped the side of the pot in several places causing cracks to form. Water poured out from the basin now as he "Lastly and perhaps the worse, is power for nothing. Power for blind ambition and goals that make you do the former. But go so much further down the dark path than you realize. " Tsubasa explained it in a way he decided was suitable. He wiped the stone clear of the water as he sat calmly. He'd paid through pain and suffering among other things. To unlock and see his power reach heights beyond the heavens. He sought it for the wrong reasons every time. He brought a finger up as he mended the basin with his powers slowly. Reforming it as he poured water inside of it. He filled it once more for a final explanation. "It took me a while to understand in my youth, but power should be obtained for a single purpose. Protecting the precious things in your life, those dear to you."

Everything else he'd shown her was up to her own personal thoughts and opinions.

Toshiko let a soft groan escape her as some of her bones creaked. She was, after all, just a human in all essence; so it's no surprise her body wasn't reacting completely well, but, she was still in one piece after being exposed to the Reiatsu of a powerful being like Tsubasa. Her eyes soon moved towards the bowl full of water that Tsubasa was referring to. Her gaze kept on it as he explained, the Quincy girl making sure to listen to what he was saying. She nodded at what he said before her mind started asking more questions. She looked towards the bowl, then Tsubasa and then gently cleared her throat.

"If I may..."

Toshiko's hand floated over the water as she created a small barrier around the water, made of reishi of course. The barrier kept the water trapped, as she lifted it gently and let the water slosh around as she tapped the barrier around it. She smiled at this and then held it her hand and looked to Tsubasa.

"You're correct, protecting is certainly the best way to obtain power. It's why I want power in the first place; because I have loved ones to protect. Especially a certain girl... But, obtaining power to protect those you love certainly is the way to gain power properly... I may not have experience, but I do know that well enough..."

Toshiko gently placed the barrier into the bowl and made it seem as if nothing happened as soon as the water was back into the bowl. She let out a soft sigh before she started to eat some more food, intending to at least make it so she had some food to recharge from. She just hoped the force wouldn't cause her to upchuck. She let out a soft exhale once more and then looked Tsubasa dead in the eyes.

"Maybe not the most orthodox reason to obtain power, but, it is close to my heart as I have people I must protect; it's the right thing to do."

She gave a smile to Tsubasa before she let a soft chuckle escape her lips as she popped her neck briefly and then sighed.

"I can't say that power won't tempt me the farther I go along with things, but, I do think that as long as I have my friends, my family, and those I love to protect and be with me, I don't think I'll be too tempted to fall into the clutches of being power greedy."

She smiles at Tsubasa and then looks down at the food, thinking for a moment as she contemplated her stomach space.

"After I finish what I have, and relax a little bit more, we can start again... I don't exactly want my own power to destroy me, after all!"
