In a cloud of smoke, a tall and fit figure seemed to emerge. The occurrence was purposely done as far as possible from prying eyes. Although there was no need for secrecy, the woman seemed to prefer to go by unnoticed, and her precise location and time of arrival undisclosed. Unfortunately, even though she tried to contain and tame her spiritual pressure, it was much too impetuous to be tamed. As such, she had decided to appear as far away as possible, somewhere near the 80th district of Rukongai. Even with the massive amounts of spiritual pressure that flowed throughout drowning the surroundings in the heft of its might, those far enough in Seireitei could have easily confused it for a relatively far away captain, or perhaps even some seated officers out on missions. Fortunately, there weren’t many citizens in those areas. After all, the farther one went into the districts of Rukongai, the more impoverished people were and the more crime seemed to rise. Shinigami were hardly ever present in the last districts where crime was the law of the land. On the flipside however, the onset of change and the power of the new leadership of the Gotei had done quite a bit to change that. The district still looked awful, but it wasn’t as bad as she remembered.
”Ah, right. Of course.”
She had completely forgotten that she was completely naked. Whenever she transformed into or from her cat form, she needed to lose her clothes. And she couldn’t quite travel the realms as a feline either, much to her dismay. However, being nude did not bother her in the slightest; something that became ingrained in her from her years of training with Yoruichi. It was normal and natural, but she understood very well that the social norms dictated otherwise and people simply weren’t used to it.
”Meow, meow, hello, meow. Good, good.” That was another thing. With her transformation also came a much deeper voice, making the seeming gender of the cat exclusively a male. After all, it sounded just like a male.
All was well. It felt amazing to be back. The last few years had seen quite a lot of turmoil in both the Gotei and in her own personal life. She had been depressed, gone off into a self imposed exile and taken more time than she should have. But alas, it took that long to realize she was never at fault. And so, with a new frame of mind, Aiko had decided to return and pick up where she had left off. She had started by returning to the Royal Guard where she was instated once more in its ranks under her title of Master of Realms. The next task was simply to go to the Seireitei to survey the state of the situation. The main duty she had in the Royal Guard aside from keeping the Soul King safe, was to keep and mediate peace among the realms and oversee the communication between its species. And while she certainly had a preference and a bias for the Soul Society as did the Soul King, she needed to be impartial for all. Her time with her mother and with the then-renegade Vizard group had taught her a lot. In essence, the crazed upbringing of the this shinigami had molded her from an early age to be a perfect fit to the duties she possessed centuries down the road.
In her feline form, the girl was able to travel extremely fast, quickly passing district by district as she approached the very heart and soul of the Seireitei. Thanks to her transformation, the amount of energy she gave out was a bit reduced and controlled. Though there would still be quite a lot of spiritual pressure emanating from her location, at the very least it was much less. While she was able to replicate almost every aspect of Yoruichi’s transformation, she wasn’t able to completely mask her spiritual pressure in feline form as well as her former mentor could.
”Meow.” She was a cat after all, and cats meowed.
Walking in in her regular form would have been a mistake. When Aiko was first promoted to the Royal Guard, most were told that she had simply been promoted to something great. At the time she was a lieutenant, but only because she didn’t want to be a Captain since her ex late ex husband, the former Captain Commander, was already the Captain of her division. So it made sense that most wouldn’t know of her position due to the secrecy involved. In fact, only a select few of the Captains that were appointed during the time of her promotion were likely to know. Most Captains, and specially those that were appointed after the fact would likely be oblivious to it.

She had been minding her own business, being very cat like, and keeping to herself. Then, all of a sudden, a red headed man came up and actually picked her up. Upon close inspection, he appeared to be a Captain, and he definitely had the spiritual pressure to show for it. However, interesting as that was, she seemed more taken about the fact he knew lady Yoruichi. Although growing up Aiko had a plethora of mentors, Yoruichi was integral in helping her cement her fighting style.
With a rather deep and manly voice, the cat would speak to the Captain, ”Now now, it seems like you know Yoruichi, but I am not her. Now please let me down if you will.”
She waited a couple seconds but the guy simply continued to stare before continuing on with his rambling. It seems like he was convinced she was Yoruichi, and he wouldn’t take a no for an answer. ”I say, unhand me at once, you red headed fiend,” spoke the manly voiced cat.
It was preposterous. Why didn’t he believe her? It stood to reason that people would believe Yoruichi to be the only one capable of such transformation. After all, it was extremely rare, even among the highly elite. Still, she was being sincere. For a split second she thought of just transforming into her human form, but seeing a young woman approach, she thought she could get out of the situation. All while the Captain and the young Shinigami spoke, the cat kept her eyes locked onto the girl, almost as if begging to be picked up and away from the ginger. And when the Captain claimed that the cat was a woman, much to the shock and concern of the young shinigami, Aiko simply responded as natural as one could.
Once the the Captain had rushed to a different location, he once again began to question her, mistaking her for someone else. And once she understood there was no way around it, she merely conceded. ”You are really stubborn mister,” said the cat before scratching the red head’s hand and jumping back in a spiraling motion before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
From the smoke cloud, a womanly figure emerged. She was tall. She was much taller than Yoruichi, and even taller than some men, even if she was by no means a giant. Her skin was lightly tanned and smooth looking. Her long purple locks of hair were longer than most women would ever let them become; but she had her reasons for that too. Beyond that, the shape of her body and its curves lent itself perfectly to be drawn into comparison by artistic minds in their attempts to depict the epitome of the female body. And while Aiko was well aware that her assets were of considerable size and heft, she never really paid as much attention to them or made a big deal out of them. It was just like being clothed or being naked to her: about the same.
”As you can see, I am not her.” With a full and quick turn of her body she spun around sort of momentarily before continuing on. ”Now, I have a change of clothes not far off from this very barrack. You will walk me there, or you can go fetch them for me. Up to you, Captain.”
With that she tossed herself into the nearest seating option available. It was a bean bag chair, a huge one; likely a souvenir from someone’s trip to the world of the living. In the bean bag chair, she felt as though she was on the beach sunbathing or in a hammock. Unrestrained she laid there, completely unphased by the nakedness of her body.

ENTER THE WATER DRAGON

The man seemed either shocked that it wasn’t Yoruichi or mesmerized that whomever it was looked as she did. ”That’s an awful lot of questions at once, so let’s stick to one.” She was awfully tempted to call him Ichigo due to his hair being red like a strawberry, but at the same time, she noticed that would’ve simply created confusion.
”My name is Aiko Kyoraku.”
The name shouldn’t have been all that important to everyday people. However, whomever was familiar with her surname and the royal house it represented could be able to link her and some form of relation to Shunsui; either daughter, sister, niece, or something else entirely. Spinning around in her bean bag chair with enough force to make the bag spin gently as she did, she went around in slow circles, stretching her legs outward and curling her toes. It felt amazing. At the very least the Captain was not a prude. While Yoruichi and her mom understood the freedom and natural feeling of being in the nude, most normal people would be taken back, and be shocked at the less than lady like display she put up while turning.
”My clothes are hidden pretty close to the Squad 1 barracks.”
It made sense after all. That was her old squad. And if she ever revisited the Seireitei, that was the place she was much more likely to go to first. As soon as he spoke once more, she simply eyed him curiously, squinting her eyes, not in annoyance but rather in amusement. He said he didn’t trust her pretty much, or maybe that was just a ruse to try and touch her.
Regardless, she would allow herself to be picked up despite her not quite so tiny size as the Captain sped away towards the barracks. She did however managed to wave and get as many people’s attention as she could, however few there were. It was fun. One would think at least one or two people would have questions later on for the red headed Captain.
”Ah, yea. I just remembered they weren’t here. Oops, give me one second. And by the way, if you wanted to cup a feel, there was no need of being a secretive perv about it.”
Joking and with a quick wink, she turned away from him, obviously flashing a backside that was without comparison, and that made even the visage from the front a distant second to it. She simply wanted to force him to walk out with her in the nude to place him into a compromising situation. She didn’t care what people thought of her and how she was, but a Captain would surely have a different reputation to maintain when they oversaw so many people.
By pointing her index finger forward, a large black door would be created before her, just barely taller than she was. The door didn’t look natural. In a way, it seemed almost as if it was a hologram. On the black door, a golden plaque read, Aiko. ”I won’t take long.” Opening the door, she went in. From the outside, the Captain would only be able to see what looked like a black and empty void, as if trying to look into outer space or into the depths of a black hole. Unfortunately, he couldn’t come along. The door was created specifically to allow no one but Aiko to enter its temporal dimension. After all, it was created and placed into her mind with the Phantom technology in such a way that it guarded specifically even against true geniuses like Urahara and Unabara. Within, Aiko’s temporal dimension acted as a form of void storage and database. The inside was vast, and perhaps even as infinite as her mind. She could simply store as many physical things within as she wished. Likewise, it was also a database where she could store memories and thoughts as files. Perhaps things she didn’t want to remember, or events she didn’t want to forget. The memories and thoughts could be revisited and analyzed at her whim and at a time of her own choosing.
Walking up to a nearby cabinet that stood on its lonesome, devoid of any other furniture beside it or even a room, she opened of the drawers. Within, a uniform of the Royal Guard could be found. Their uniforms were largely similar to those of a Captain, but they were allowed some minor alterations. The uniform was a white haori with lined red edges, and a pair of graphics symbolic of the yin and yang. The v-like area of her top was cut in a way that it allowed great freedom of movement and enhanced the look and heft of her already sizable bosom. Her hakama was black and reached to just about mid thigh length, where a set of white thighhighs finished off the look. And though she had no visible zanpakuto with her, there was a rather interesting set of dark blue, almost black gloves that extended to cover most of her forearms. While it wasn’t a secret to those that knew her, most wouldn’t know that was actually the form of her sealed zanpakuto.
Just a minute or so after she had gone in, the door would open once more and Aiko would exit, allowing the door to cave down onto itself likely of her will.
”See? It didn’t take long. How do I look?”
The grin she gave when she asked showcased the amusement and anticipation she had about his reaction. As she stood, the prominence of her long hair was rather noticeable as it easily reached down closer to her legs.
”Now. I did answer a few questions of you, so you need to start speaking up if you want me to do the same. How do you know Yoruichi? And you’re a Captain, right?”
She had quite the story with Yoruichi that extended beyond just training but her upbringing. It wasn’t a secret however so were he to inquire about it once more, she wouldn’t mind sharing.

Her smile of intrigue would fade into a frown that equally translated her disdain and disappointment about the man. He seemed interesting at first, but the veil didn’t take long to get torn to shreds along with whatever amusement she had from him. She didn’t care for his comments or his attitude. She couldn’t stand the way he talked and behaved. But unlike him, despite the name he carried and the power she had, there was a difference between them. She had class. Sure, that could certainly be argued due to the way she dressed or rather didn’t, but in her point of view, nothing was perverted unless a mind made it so. And if speaking of perversion and debauchery, then his mind could certainly be used as an example of a rotten, degenerate creation of the lowest esteem and of the most foul of stench.
”Oh I saw your haori, I just figured you were playing pretend. Hard to believe they let anyone be a Captain now. Times must be tough.”
In her mind, a Captain wasn’t just someone powerful. There were plenty of people in this world whose power overshadowed theirs yet they had not even the slightest clue in how to be a Captain. Strength and power weren’t a bonus, they were a requirement; the very minimum requirement. A Captain needed to display a behavior and a personality and a sense of obligation, respect, and commitment that was simply left on the crapper on the red headed man. She couldn’t fathom that someone like that had been trained by her tutors, or rather, she couldn’t fathom they would allow themselves to be linked with a pupil that shit on their names so.
”I find it difficult to believe you trained under lady Yoruichi and Mr. Urahara. All their pupils have rather specific qualities beyond their power, and you possess none of them. I trained with both of them for years.”
With that, Aiko would adjust her haori, removing a wrinkle by one of the Yin Yang symbols. And taking soft steps towards the door, she would speak once more before the Captain.
”Aren’t you the Captain of the R&D? I thought you were supposed to be smart, or is that no longer a requirement?”
Sure. She didn’t expect him to know of her appointment to the Royal Guard due to its secrecy and the fact that it wasn’t kept on record. Things didn’t work like that with the Soul King. The only ones that likely knew of the fact was Tsubasa and Ibiki, and neither would have a reason to disclose information that no else would have a need to know. But still, she imagined a man that was touted as being the smartest Captain in Seireitei would at least know the history and events that occurred years before. Of course, by that point, she imagined that intelligence was no longer needed to lead the R&D. It appeared as though power, and simple sentience was enough to earn a place in the position, and that the red haired man had simply suffered some kind of embolism that sent too much fluid into his head, blowing up his ego and whatever brain power he once possessed. Having been born just a few years before the Captains and Lieutenants were experimented on by Aizen, Yoruichi had managed to sneak the young girl out of Soul Society to keep her from potential repercussions and so that she could grow up with her mother one day.
”If you have questions, I suggest you improve your manner of speaking, boy. Until you have something interesting and thought out to say, don’t waste my time. It's obviously worth much more than yours.”
She had called him boy not because of a difference in age. They seemed to be of similar ages though it hardly mattered if one or the other was younger or older. The mere fact that he behaved as he did was grounds enough to earn him that name. Though she had to admit not even boys behaved in such a manner, and calling it a maggot would simply be an insult to such an innocent species. In any case, she would flash step her way out of the barrack. It shouldn’t have been fast enough to lose any decent Captain, so following shouldn’t have been difficult, even for him. Had he followed, he would’ve found her somewhere in Rukongai, if he hadn’t, there was no telling if he’d ever see her again. If he did however, it was with utmost certainty that a mistake on his part in regards to his behavior would seal off any chance he could ever have of a decent connection with her.
