"So Much Corruption..."

The Den of Beasts [Orange Walk Belize] 6EdIfMt

As the Gotei members moved forward they would be met with an expected outcome. He slammed his fist into the ribcage and seemed to explode with movement and speed. Not drawing his blade as he sent members of the Gotei flying backward. Sounds of crunching and broken bones could be heard from the sound of his fist. Tetsuya Tachibana, he was the heir to the Unabara Clan. He had quite a big shadow that some believed he fell into. His brown hair and fierce demeanor were different from his father. He decided to not distinguish himself the same. Fighting almost completely within the melee range and putting his effort there. Tetsuya dodged a blade and elbowed the male in the face. Before using a palm strike and sending him sliding into others. They looked questioningly at him as he sighed softly. Releasing a blast of his massive spiritual pressure. This was, of course, one way it could go. He exhaled a soft breath from his lungs. This was such a bothersome chore, couldn't they attack elsewhere? Ibiki's damn grudge was an annoying pain in the ass.

But he guessed his Godmother had her reasons. She did things the way she saw fit with her fire. But it was his duty to fight here for the Monsuta as well. So it would be he made quick work of those who attacked leaving them beaten but not dead. He didn't kill them or use enough force to do so. Sending them away with broken bones alone as he focused on nothing else. Tetsuya gestured and the earth raised to form a seat for him. He wondered which seated officer he'd deal with here. He knew it would be a Captain or a seated officer. So far the Gotei was being defeated here. His gaze was like that of a tiger and seemed to be eyeing those who came close. He didn't hold a position of immense power or strength within the organization. But Tetsuya's name did have benefits along with him being quite potent. He brought his hands together and rested his chin on his thumbs. The ball was in their court now as he released a breath. It was time to observe and see what they made of the defeats.

With the call for an attack against the Monsuta on Earth, it was only natural for Zaraki Kenpachi to join in on the fun. After all his very presence instilled an intimidating sense of killing intent in those around him, his infamy striking fear into the hearts of enemies and allies alike. Having him on the battlefield was both an individual combat as well as strategic advantage for the Gotei. While his legendary might was certainly useful to have against powerful enemies, just as important is the fact even regular soldiers fight more fiercely with Zaraki nearby. Being in enemy territory meant troop morale would be more vulnerable, but with Zaraki around many of the Gotei members were more afraid of him than the Monsuta. Truthfully much of this fear was misplaced as he only had reason to cut down allies if they interrupted his own fight, though he could never be sure if he could find a good one.

From Zaraki's perspective the Monsuta soldiers weren't even worth drawing his sword for. Cutting them down was a task he readily left to the surrounding Gotei unit stationed in Orange Walk Town, Belize. It wasn't until the arrival of a particularly powerful individual, one noticeably outputting more spiritual pressure than even an average Gotei Captain could, was Zaraki's interest piqued. Wanting to see if this person was worth fighting, Zaraki took off on a run through the streets of Orange Walk. Though he passed many Monsuta soldiers, none of them were nearly as interesting as his current target. After a few dozen seconds he came upon a man sitting atop a throne of his own making, surrounded by those he'd personally defeated. Kenpachi's one eye remained trained on the warrior, a trace amount of excitement running through his veins in reaction to the tremendous spiritual pressure Tetsuya was giving off, eclipsing everything else in the entire city. Though the man was certainly strong enough to defeat half a platoon single handed, that feat alone wouldn't be enough to truly energize Zaraki Kenpachi. For now he drew his long, chipped Zanpakuto from its sheath and pointed the blade directly at Tetsuya.

"Nice Reitsu. You're down to play, right?"

He slowly eyes opened slowly and his fierce gaze fell on Kenpachi Zaraki. The men sent before him at the moment were weak dogs unworthy of his attention. But this wasn't your average warrior who'd stepped up to the plate now. The question was could he fight him without risk of becoming like that again. Well, it didn't matter much he supposed as he got up slowly from his seat. Zaraki was one he was fairly sure he couldn't fight normally. He drew his zanpakuto slowly as he grinned a bit. "Well this is a treat, you idiots in the back should clear out..Unless you want to end up dead. With a playmate this good present, I can't promise I'll hold back as...nicely." He said as he began walking towards Zaraki now. Bringing his zanpakuto blade to rest upon his shoulders. A smile of someone who just enjoyed battle was about to happen upon them. He didn't care about the where and the who. If an enemy strong came along it was worth practice. He'd heard stories of Zaraki and was looking forward to testing himself.

The man was a skilled fighter in the same ways he was. Tetsuya also had a similar energy situation as him. But this little den of beasts would be enough. "Well, let's have some fun Zaraki.." He said giving a grin as he stared at the male. He seemed to only walk towards Zaraki now. It wasn't about swinging his sword yet, he wanted to savor this. To feel this raw force only the Kenpachi of old could bring out. The intent to fight and kill was there just like his old mans. Oh but this was so much sweeter as he could test his edge. Maybe here he could finally begin to awaken his trump card more. It had been so long since he'd been free to fight or enjoy a decent contest. This would be an amusing event as he stood close enough to swing. "Come on big Guy, Let's have some FUN!" He swung his blade at Zaraki's midsection. Sending his excited blast of reiatsu outwards. He was ready to enjoy and engulf himself in battle.

To fall into the chaos of battle with Zaraki, this would be a legendary encounter. As his horizontal slash came towards the towering figure of a man's midsection.

The man sitting on a throne of his own making seemed to light up at the sight of Zaraki, evidently interested in the old and infamous Shinigami. When he dismissed his soldiers Kenpachi's face remained the same, stone-like with the corners of his mouth tilted slightly downward in an apparently indifferent frown. Though Tetsuya possessed a considerable spiritual pressure, Zaraki had long since learned not to judge potential opponents on that metric alone as he'd suffered through enough boring battles to not get excited too quickly. For this reason he decided to speak again to the Monsuta Shinigami in front of him. "If you and all your pals attacked me at the same time you might've stood a chance." While he wasn't a fan of dealing with weaklings, enough of them would have at least made things a bit more interesting. Instead it seemed as if the battle would just be a regular one on one, a competition of power between the two above average men currently facing each other in Belize.

When Tetsuya began walking toward him Zaraki dropped his sword arm, the long katana he'd stolen from some random man many centuries ago now resting closer to the ground before action started. It wasn't long before the two fighters were within range of each other, the last few seconds of peace lingering quietly in the air. When his opponent swung his weapon horizontally Zaraki's own blade met it mid-air, blocking and holding the strike in place. The strength of his foe rang through his weapon and up his arm, more power than Kenpachi had expected. A pleasant surprise. With a bit of extra force Zaraki knocked the man's weapon away before slicing diagonally down from above his foe's left-hand side to the right. Following up and giving Tetsuya no leeway, he swiftly swung again except this time horizontally from his left to right. The first had more force than he'd used to block his enemy's attack and the second even topped that as his physical strength seemed to be increasing almost instantly. "I'm still waking up!"

Zaraki's remark made him slightly curve his lips into a smile. He didn't know exactly what slept beneath the surface and why he was sent to Monsuta. It was a spy mission sure from his father to keep tabs. But there was something else beneath the surface he felt it. A dark voice had been disturbing his sleep and dreams. Something foul and almost more feral than Tetsuya was in any day of the week. That made things dangerous as he exhaled a soft breath. Feeling the strength of the blow he could sense the rumors were true. When Zaraki parried his blow. This guy was asleep quite literally in the sense of fun began he would get stronger. The legendary eye patch of Kenpachi Zaraki, that thing was more than just a display. He didn't lose his grip on his sword or let it get knocked too far away. He'd need to start fighting different here soon. But something edged him to continue with zanjutsu. He parried Zaraki's blow downwards into the ground. Using the momentum built up he swung a blow at Zaraki's chest horizontally with enough force to try and blast him backward.

The left to right swing coming next was a bit of a problem. It was at that point the voice came in again. Reaching into his mind and screaming. Let me have him, let me feast on his marrow. That was the demand of the voice inside his head. But for now, Tetsuya wasn't planning on letting anyone enjoy Zaraki's time. Nobody but himself would have that course tonight. So long as he avoided injuries and getting too overly fucked up. It wouldn't be a problem, his eyes remained focused. As time seemed to resume at the most unpredictable time. Using the end of his hilt he blocked Zaraki's blow if it still came. Being sent backward a couple feet. Tetsuya's shoulders moved as he felt himself beginning to loosen up more. This was interesting to see, the rumors were pretty much spot on about him. The guy had power sleeping that only came more out as he got excited from battle. Well lucky him he'd get to see just how far he could push the Legendary Kenpachi Zaraki.

Thirsty for the thrill of battle, Zaraki stayed on the offensive the entire time he and his opponent clashed violently. All he was interested in was getting Tetsuya to fight with every bit of power he was capable of producing, a goal he pushed toward by continuing his aggressive assault against the Monsuta commander. When his foe's blade struck against the bare skin of his chest sparks flew as if the man's metal blade skidded across a steel pole and not flesh. This extraordinary defense and naturally hardened spiritual pressure armour prevented any damage to Kenpachi, allowing him to continue with his next attack as if nothing happened. It seemed Tetsuya had not used enough of his strength yet to puncture the man's durable epidermis. As a result, Zaraki's most recent attack successfully pushed his foe back a little over a meter, though there wouldn't be time for even a short respite.

Typical for his tremendous gait, Zaraki closed the distance between the two combatants in a single step. Now back within range of Tetsuya, Kenpachi continued on by swinging his Zanpakuto downward twice in a row. As time went on both his physical strength and spiritual pressure seemed to be increasing dramatically, eclipsing his own power every time his opponent was successful in defending from his blows. To his enemies this phenomenon seemed entirely willful and indicative of Zaraki consciously powering up to deal with them, but in reality the simple enjoyment he gained from facing tough foes was enough to make his power increase by itself. By getting excited his strength followed suit until, usually at least, inevitably getting to the point of being too strong to enjoy the fight anymore. For now he was still just starting to have fun, though the sonic booms created by each of his blows seemed to make this difficult to believe. Following up on his last strikes Zaraki placed the tip of his Zanpakuto next to the outside of his left foot and tore the blade upward diagonally, causing an explosion of force powerful enough to open fissure in the ground as well as collapse a house behind Tetsuya even if he blocked the attack. His smile grew from ear to ear.

Typical he couldn't beat this guy holding back his strength. Though was it really a surprise? Tetsuya's spiritual pressure flared to life as that voice screamed. Rage against this machine, roar against society. Break everything in your path. The demon within him roared to life as his smile grew a bit. His spiritual pressure as always was impressive now as he sent more power out. Deflecting the blows and amazingly matching Zaraki's power. Zaraki was drawing out his fury now further and further. Could he do this without releasing that zanpakuto and falling into darkness. Controlling himself was the problem at discussion here really. Lingering in the darkness with him as he deflected the blows without pause. Responding and striking again and again. This wasn't reaching a climax or an end yet really. Zaraki and he were fairly evenly matched at the moment. But that itching and clawing inside his mind couldn't go away. He growled slightly as he felt it coming closer into the place of his mind.

"Good...The thing they left...Let's....have...SOME FUN!" His reiatsu glowed around his body as he deflected the blow of Zaraki downwards now. Causing the ground around them to shatter deeper due to sheer power. Tetsuya sent at Zaraki's ribcage at the same time. The explosion of force from it had enough power to send male flying away. He was starting to strike without remorse or regard anymore. It was time to fight without letting anything get in the way. As Zaraki likely skidded backward from the fierce trade they had. He winced as a white mask began to form itself over his face now. Slowly half of his face got covered. His eye turning gold beneath it as he fought for control. He'd not be some bystander in this situation as hollow energy surged around him. His voice had a raspy demeanor to it. "...I...will does not give up my fun..so easily.." This wasn't him going quietly into the darkness. He'd not allow himself to become some puppet in a fight.

His body ached with pressure as the black reiatsu began to surge outwards from him. Hollowfication had begun, Tetsuya wouldn't be able to maintain this control for a long time. But by god, he'd not let this fight be taken from him. He wasn't some weak minded fool who'd let this creature take it. Gnashing teeth and claws on that door, this beast wouldn't have it. It wouldn't take it from him as this was his battle here.

Blocking and parrying his opponent's attacks, Zaraki stayed on the offensive even throughout the beginnings of the man's apparently Hollowfication. Each attack the Vizard tried gaining ground with was promptly shut down by Zaraki's own incredible and ever-increasing physical strength. This rapid growth in power would make it difficult and potentially frustrating for Tetsuya to properly try overpowering him. The old Shinigami's chaotic and raging combat style would also make it difficult for the Monsuta warrior to beat him through skill, though that was hardly an issue given Zaraki was one of the most dangerous swordsmen alive. This alone wouldn't allow him to succeed however, as Tetsuya was quite dangerous and powerful in his own right, arguably one of the top soldiers in the Monsuta. Both of them would have to show more to eek out a win.

Though not knocked away as his opponent likely hoped, Zaraki did take a couple steps backward to give Tetsuya enough time to transform or use some kind of special ability. However his hopes, too, would be dashed. Tetsuya seemed to be trying his hardest not to give in to his Hollow, annoying Zaraki and causing his lips to curl downward and form a frown. With irritation clearly in his voice, Zaraki decided to verbally challenge his opponent to try something new. "Hollowfy or release your sword, I don't care which. Don't be so boring. I've already gotten used to your strength." To emphasize this statement Zaraki swung his Zanpakuto horizontally, the force of his attack enough to not just bifurcate an entire row of buildings but cause them to almost explode, leveling them almost instantly. "See? At this point Zaraki's physical strength would begin exceeding Tetsuya's, though due to his eyepatch the latter still possessed an overall power advantage. Despite this, the difference in physical prowess could potentially be enough to convince Tetsuya to try something new.

Tetsuya's form straightened up as he brought the zanpakuto blade up slowly. Slamming the hilt into his face and breaking the mask around his face. The male's eyes became calm as he brought his zanpakuto up at the moment it didn't seem like this battle would have a clear victor. He said nothing as he activated his release now. Spiritual pressure went upwards as he looked at Zaraki's form. The earth around him began to tremble more and metal began forming around him. But something else was beginning as plants among other things began growing rapidly around Tetsuya. He felt his body loosen up as he would at least fight Zaraki himself. His resolve and undying will in this fact alone were clear. He brought his sword to rest against his shoulder now as he stared at Zaraki's form. Bringing his hand up he snapped his fingers as spores began floating around the area. It was within seconds they exploded with massive force. Creating a plum of explosive energy as he could now manipulate and generator Earth, Metal, and even create plants.

Tetsuya was a giver of life as his eyes remained steady. It was time to fight Zaraki in a method, unlike a savage animal. He needed to stop and think about things. He'd enjoy this battle but his zanpakuto required clarity to use it. But those darker powers existed just in his reach. The gnashing claws and teeth in his mind reaching and gripping. He didn't intend to allow them anything in terms of ground. He could create the perfect situation to fight for himself. He slowly assumed the stance for Kierudo. He'd not inherited the truth of swordplay from his old man for nothing. He adjusted his stance going back into the formal style he learned. He couldn't perform Kitanashi as strongly as his father could of course. But he could certainly create damage from it. Tetsuya brought his sword down and sent a massive blast of force at Zaraki's form. He wasn't buying that some stupid spore explosion did it. The Kitanashi of Kierudo focused on a perfect sword swing.

One without wasted momentum or false movements of muscles. Controlling the force of your body and releasing an explosive moment on the enemy. The spores if anything were a distraction so he could remember. He'd not bother to fight in a normal battle of using simple powers now either. It was now time for techniques and things to come into this battle. So long as he had said in the matter. This play would be his and he'd prove himself a warrior equal to or even greater than his father's legacy. Zaraki certainly had the strength advantage for the moment. But he'd not lose it so easily, he'd fight tooth and nail and prove his might. He'd shake mountains with his blows and show his teeth and ambitions. He'd make sure Zaraki was a testament to it all. Even if he fell from it all, he'd not allow himself to fall without scratching the legendary Captain.

With a sigh of boredom Zaraki Kenpachi watched his opponent deal with whatever issues currently plaguing him, not in the least bit interested in the man's problems. All that mattered was Tetsuya use more of his power to actually provide a more interesting fight to the demon of Rukongai. Immediately after however Zaraki was finally treated to the Vizard's Zanpakuto release, causing not just a burst of spiritual pressure from the man but also a weird growth of plants and metals at his feet. This increase in strength was certainly interesting to Zaraki, enough to whet his appetite for battle at the very least. After he snapped his fingers, weird small plant-like objects began floating around the open area. Zaraki hoped he didn't use some kind of poison or anything even somewhat Mayuri-related as those kinds of people were incredibly boring to fight. Luckily for him they exploded instead, tearing apart the nearby buildings and enveloping Zaraki completely.

While Zaraki was still within the smoke leftover from the explosion, Tetsuya assumed position and then unleashed another powerful attack against the Shinigami. However before Tetsuya's attack could get close enough to clear the billows of smoke around Zaraki, another gigantic shock wave did it first. After taking his opponent's previous attack directly, Zaraki hadn't wasted any time in responding with his own: a powerful downward slash capable of creating a massive tidal wave of pressure as a counter to Tetsuya's own. Directly between the two fighters these force waves collided, creating a sonic boom strong enough to surge outward and cause even more damage to the city of Orange Walk. Almost all the surrounding buildings had been brought down by this clash of strength, creating a large circular battleground for the dangerous warriors to fight seriously in.

With a great big smile on his face Zaraki spoke again to his opponent, this time with a bit of excitement in his voice. "Not a bad explosion. What else can that fancy sword of yours do?" Using the tremendous physical strength in his legs Zaraki shot from his previous position and aimed to get right in front of the Vizard. With his spiritual pressure surging to heights greater than before, Zaraki unleashed a series of potentially devastating sword swings against his target in rapid succession, each powerful enough to cleave through almost anything. This would go on continuously until Tetsuya was either torn apart or he was able to interrupt the Shinigami.
