★ OTY VOTES ★
★ What the hell are OTY's? Well, my friend, that is pretty simple! Towards the end OR beginning of the year (depending on when staff can be assed!), we usually host Of The Year Nomination and Finals.
In this event, we go back from the past year of 2017 and attempt to pick out different types of finalist to compete for OTY Finals from the nomination list. These can range from Thread Of The Year, Character Of The Year and etc.
So, in this thread, you'll be tasked with picking whom you think deserves the OTY by nominating them.
Please try to avoid nominating the same person/thread/character if they have already been nominated. Please.
★ OTY RULES★
★ You can only vote for one member!
★Make sure to state the name of the person you are nominating
★ This contest has a week before it will be closed by a staff member.
★ Try to think about your vote a little before aimlessly casting it.
★ If someone is already nominated, try to nominate someone else.
★ DO NOT NOMINATE YOURSELF
★ OTY PRIZES ★
★First Place: The people who wins first place in this of the Year category will receive one wish of their choosing by staff. We have full rights to deny it, so find something within reason. This can be anything from a board made, extra yen/awesome points, tier upgrade for a character, skill upgrade or whatever. The catch is that you'll have to pitch it well enough for us to do it. And you'll also get 10,000,000 yen, their own PH Medal and a mention in the Of The Month Winners and Of The Year Winners thread
★Second Place: The person who wins runner up will receive 5,000,000 yen and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads along with a 2nd place medal.
★Third Place: The person who wins third place will receive 3,000,000 yen, an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads and possibly a 3rd place medal.

My nomination. Tsubine Koezuka. Fuck yeah that's bias. In all seriousness, I am voting Tsubine as COTY because
A. I love her character, her app was a blast to read and it was very well done.
B. She's a character who's actions have shaped the world in the past , now they don't really mean anything in 2017. EXCEPT. Tsubine's return to the site brought forward the interesting facet that this woman left her post in the royal guard, this return of a major past player I feel has a massive impact on the site whether Tsu (the RPer) wants her to or not because of the IC implications.
C. She literally shaped my character Erika who is by far one of my favourite characters I have ever made and who I dare say is my main character now. I approached Tsu with the simple idea of Tsubine having taught Erika as a mentor not a mother or familial figure in the slightest. Most people would have no idea how different my idea for Erika was before this development occurred.
D. She has done quite the development in her short-time back. The re-connection with Midori, Erika and everyone. I feel her character has some serious impact on all these other characters which is why I also think she deserves this title.

Okay! Abalia Sesshouin is my vote for Character of the Year. Besides just creating a hell of a lot of a laughs and good memories OOC, I feel like she has had a lot of development from what I've seen. She's a likable character. I also just really like her concept, determination, and doggedness to uphold the law. If she doesn't get Character of the Year, she definitely deserves Cop of the Year.

I'm tossing up Gamma's character Erika for this one. I've seen so much coming from Gamma when it comes to the drive to get this character going. Gamma has pushed Erika into multiple threads and in seeing Erika in action, I believe that there is a unique element to Erika's personality that can be counted here.
