THE HOLLOW TEMPLATE
Enter The Hollow
I. Basic Information» Name:
Silvia Athanasios» Age:
Yaksha Dokuja, when she passed on, he was the one to help sever her ties to her body, helping to make her into the beast that she became.I regret my mistakes. One day I hope to see them as teachings.» Appearance Written: Clever, light on my toes, and forever a child. These were the words my Chief used to describe me. To think he couldn't have been more right.
Sil is far from human anymore. Her spirit that hollowed and deteriorated has become bestial, primal, animalistic. Her form holds triangle ears on the top of her head, a slender body, and a long, bushy tail. First glance into the night, people see her front paws and white hair through the darkness, a creature of about 4 feet in height and 5 in length. Once they got a better view, a closer look... that's when it became obvious of her transformation.
Her paws, her muzzle, her head, and her tail are what show the fox she has become. Upon close inspection though it's easy to see tendrils of white and red spinning and waving around her. She is a gaseous being, even the parts of her that might be seen as normal have these magic-like strings coming from them. As if she is a white fog, she roams around with a confident and easy walk. Sometimes it doesn't even seem she walks at all when she moves. Sometimes she just grows closer without her legs doing work. Where her chest resides is a large, dark hole where a heart would sit, where a heart used to sit.
Some look even closer, some are lucky enough to get in really close and see a little more. Inside the gas and fog of spirit is a long assortment of bones across her back. The only piece of her that is tangible, easily touched... her spine. Covered in deeper, darker fog that trickles out of her form like a mane or bulk of fur in an attempt to disguise the one thing people can get a hold of.» Appearance Image: As you wish.
II. Personality» Personality: Death is scary, daunting, and downright unbearable. Yet here I am surviving somehow.
Sil is a troubled soul. Her death was fueled by rage and incredible hunger for a justice that wouldn't be served. She has learned to control herself more, but she is just as unstable as the day she became a hollow.
Emotions are hard for Silvia to show or empathize with unless it's an anger or jealous reaction. She will feign emotions if she feels she'll gain something from it, but her ability to understand the living was severed the day she died and lost her humanity.
Just because she can't express herself correctly, doesn't mean she is dull. Sil is a trickster in both life and death. She enjoys her pranks and keeping people on their toes when she isn't fighting off her own hunger.
III. History» History: Where should I begin?
The land was a beautiful place. Years ago Silvia enjoyed her days with her tribe, her people. Before she was a hollow, she was a human girl who looked to the great spirit for guidance and help while relying on her follow humans for food and support. Her parents were wonderful people, good friends of the chief as all were. Gracious and civil, her life was built on thanking the spirits for her existence. Never did she expect that in reality... her religion was wrong about this afterlife and what would be important when they moved on.
At her young age, creatures like hollows were demons, evil spirits, and heathens to the tribe. She never encountered them and only knew of the tales and myths from the tribe's medicine man. Life wasn't easy but it was tolerable and she never felt she was in true danger of losing everything she held dear.
The day she died begins her story instead of ending it. At the age of 22, she met with someone outside of her inner circle, thinking it was another tribe member that got lost. It was a middle-aged man in strange clothing. She walked to him with a great smile and tried to communicate to him to little avail. It ended up with them making gestures and hoping the other understood. Peace was all she desired, she wanted nothing more than to make a good impression for her tribe.
Somehow she was able to figure out what he desired from her; were there more like her? The man took out a piece of paper and they used a bit of oil he had to draw shapes and lines for a map. In the end she ended up giving him a map to her tribe with excitement and anticipation to meet him again with his people for a ceremony of greeting and acceptance since they had never met and their language was so different.
The next morning she woke up to flames and screaming. Out she came from her safe haven to find the tribe women cowering to large men and several of her comrades dead before her. She saw their clothing and could swear it was similar to the male she had met before. Her fists clenched and her body tensed. She had let a killer and his companions into her tribe. This was her fault. Everything that happened was because of her. Tears stained her face as a man came up to her with a terrifying grin. She stared up to him with anger boiling in her stomach and blood pulsing fast.
"May Great Spirit destroy you!" She screamed and grabbed at the man wildly only to be pushed aside like she was nothing. He held a large weapon in his hand, a spear perhaps? One he probably stole from one of the dead warriors of her tribe and family. Silvia didn't care. She got back up from the ground and attempted to fight the armed male with tears blurring her vision and her lungs filling with smoke from the fire.
She lost, punished for her rash choices with the call of death. When she came to find out that she now roamed the earth from the other side, grieving heavily for her tribe, she met someone else that was on that boat with the settlers. With most of her tribe killed or taken away to the boats, she had nothing but a growing, burning vengeance. It kept her linked to her body and from moving to the next place she was destined to go. It gave her an opportunity though... to "grow with power" as someone told her.
Silvia had followed the settlers back to their boat and found... something. It was hard to tell what it was... it stood with its back to the boat hidden out of sight from humans. "Let me guess. These guys killed you and you're here for revenge, right?" It had asked, making the girl curious. "I can tell you how to get more power in your current state. What do you say?"
Yaksha broke her tether to her body, sealed her fate as a hollow and let her anger rage from the hunger and lose of her people. Silvia became a monster, a fearful creature that couldn't be stopped. All that ran through her mind was how much humans shouldn't exist. All humans are evil. Only spirits are truly pure in her eyes. Only those she praised and worshiped mattered in her eyes anymore.
Years passed, her ways of killing and feeding grew clever and cautious, but the hunger didn't die until much later. The anger faded as humans passed through and across the land. All she could do was attempt to kill all humans in her path... but she was just one monster.
She fell from her anger... noticing how much damage she had caused from her desire for justice. The girl had become more of a monster than the men who came on boats.
Ever since... she has turned away from humans and goes after her follow hollows when she can find them. The hunger never stopped and she only hoped that there was something better than where the shinigami would take her.
IV. Equipment» Equipment:
Currently all Silvia has are a few shiny little trinkets like matches or shards of metal, a stuffed bear, and a wooden bowl. She carries these in a back pack that she drags around by her teeth if she plans to move further than her little makeshift den.
V. Racial Techniques/Abilities/Skills» Racial Abilities:
Cero, Bala, Regeneration, Acidic Touch, Soul/Body Separation
VI. Powers» Hollow Power: Dreaming Projection:
As a gaseous form, she tends to not sit on the ground. In fact, she floats above the ground and with a bit of help from her reaitsu, she glows a deeper red and may float higher in the air.Silvertongue:
A trick she enjoys far more than she should. By using her reaitsu and focusing it on her muzzled mouth, she has the ability to offer a suggestion to someone and have them follow through with it. The hard part about this incredibly powerful ability is what it requires out of her.
A name is a powerful thing that Silvia will use against those around her. Once she has the real name of her target, she can use it to further progress her Silvertongue ability. The further away from her target, the more reaitsu she has to muster to perform her ability and the less likely it will be effective on her subject. Her best suggestions are those delivered with a foot away from her target, when she can speak to them without having to raise her voice.
The other issue is trust. If the person is cautious or has a feud with this hollow, it is likely Sil won't be able to use her ability on them for her benefit. First meetings are always hard, but making a good impression has worked so far for our little hollow fiend!Benevolent Tone:
Focusing her reaitsu at her throat instead of her mouth, she can speak without opening her mouth. Her voice resonates in a wispy tone as if it is just a sound on the wind. When talking to someone, this voice is helpful to her to keep things between her and her comrade. The tone is so light and soft that only someone sitting a foot or two away will hear her.

VIII. Role Play Sample» Roleplay Sample:
The three males who crowded around the magician parted to let the young woman see Jordan. A sly grin came to each of their faces as they looked from the girl to their magic friend. Jordan couldn't help himself as he ignored the snickers and nudges from his comrades and stared at the woman who wished to see his tricks. Her unique eyes only made the boy more curious about her and the green eyed male looked away in embarrassment from admiring so long.
Her accent was crisp and a pleasant tune to his ears while her request made his heart flutter. He was normally the one to asked women or groups of males to watch his tricks and never had he been asked out of the blue to perform. To see someone intrigued by his magic... Jordan was awestruck.
His friends waved him off, letting him know they were giving him so space with their beck and calls. "We'll meet you back at the apartment! Try not to have too much fun with out us!" The yelled as the walked off towards the center of town. The magician couldn't tell for a moment what he wanted more. the company of his friends to back him up or the privacy to tests some of his moves on a woman. He bit the inside of his cheek and took a deep breath. He had his tricks and a glimmer in his eye. He would enjoy giving his best performance for the young woman.
The young male bowed his head to the woman, a sweet smile dancing on his lips. "Of course I can show you a trick or two." He accepted, this time not speaking in his native tongue. He had to think carefully for the words he needed to say in Japanese that would give off the right vibe he wanted for this first trick. He didn't want to come off as a stingy pervert. The man wanted to ease into a more romantic setting if he wanted to win her over with his magic. He tapped the top of the deck of cards and gestured for her to sit on the bench. "Please, sit down." As she walked to the bench he watched, enticed by her bouncing pigtails and gorgeous white dress. A tint of pink formed on his cheeks as he thought about where he should sit.
An idea came to mind and he stood in front of her with 3 feet of space keeping them separate. He sifted through the array of cards to find the the queens, and the kings and quickly prepared his latest trick. He set the face cards in one place on the ground and the deck in another, keeping them apart for the time being while he fiddled with his black jeans and straightened his red T-shirt. Compared to this woman, he was just a commoner, and he would use this as an advantage in his act.
He sat down on the cement where he stood with his feet under his rear and his hands in his lap. "Let's start the magic with these cards." He began, waving his nimble hands over the face cards. "These are the royals of our fair castle." His other hand motioned to the deck of cards. "Every card in the deck is a loyal subject to the kings and queens who live inside." Quickly he flipped through the deck to find one joker, a grin flashing over his face. "A king and a queen share the same area of the castle as each other, but do not stay in the same room." As he continued, he split the deck four times and laid the sections out with the joker to the side. He then paired the kings and queens together by suit and placed them on top of the each of the four sections.
"Now, with this in mind. When an emergency comes up, all the royals make their way to the top of the castle with the king and queen of hearts." He put each section of the deck back on top of each other with the king and queen of hearts section on the very top. He touched the deck with his index finger and picked the joker up with his other hand. "This guy here wants the king of spade's wife. He would kill for her even." Carefully he slipped the joker into the deck at random and when he finished, he placed a finger to his lips. "He will find that king and take the throne if he has his way."
Jordan snatched the deck up from the ground and shuffled it of his own accord, his eyes never leaving the maiden who sat on the bench. "During the day the royalty moves around and fulfills their duties to the public, one by one getting things done and making decisions. They don't stay in their rooms until night fall." Now the deck was seemingly shuffled through and all the cards should have been out of place and in disarray. "They are all in their rooms sleeping soundly... when the sound of yelling is heard from the bottom king's room. As this is an emergency..." He put the cards in the palm of his hand and tapped four times on the top.
Without anymore tricks or story-telling, Jordan flipped the first to cards to reveal the king and queen of diamonds. "They made it safe and sound." He said and flipped the next two to see the clubs pairing followed by three extra cards. He set these ones aside and flipped them over, revealing two aces on either side of the joker he had picked to target the king of spades. "Looks like he was caught before he could get his target! I wonder..." He flipped the two on the top again to see the king and queen of spades in tact. "Would you look at that! The joker will be heading to jail this night it seems."
"But wait..." He said and chuckled lightly to himself. "Where are the pair of hearts?" He asked and gathered his cards up to show every card in the deck. The heart pair was missing, gone from sight. The male stood on his feet with his cards in hand and sat on the bench beside her. He scratched the back of his head and when he brought his hand back to the front, there was a card. With a flick of his wrist, he showed it to the female with a grin. The king of hearts was between his fingers. "I found one." He said and then tapped his chin. "I wonder..."
Carefully he approached her and reached behind her head. He didn't touch her as his wrist twitched and pulled away to show the queen behind her head. "I knew it." Jordan gasped and quickly got to his feet to bow his head low. "Are you my queen of hearts?"
