Relatiation Post.

"Tell me, are you proud?" A soft feminine voice whispered softly in the ears of every man, woman, and child that lay in London. It caressed the people of London like a lovers touch; yet, behind it, a looming dread began to build.

Civil unrest plagued the streets of London, fires burned in every corner of the city. The united voice of the people echoed and did so in rebellion. Molotov cocktails arced into the windows of shops, common shadow-fall guards were knocked over and bludgeoned to death. Only the Queen's lofty castle stood proudly above the chaos as a symbol of authority.

"Because you've forced my hand, an example must be made." The soft voice once more echoed in the ears of the populace as the sky began to darken, clouds falling over the city of London. With it, an eerie silence began to fall on the once rowdy capital city, everyone's eyes lingering upon the sky.

"If you must blame someone, blame those that misled you. Hate them, and curse them. " The voice was a murmur at this point, and yet it could be heard by everyone. It was clear that the voice did not belong to an unfeeling, unthinking being, yet within that voice, there was only neutrality.

Rumbling thunder roared in the sky, arcing from cloud to cloud ominously, as spires of swirling air would form throughout the country. Within the city itself, some civilians would begin to float; others would become crushed under unbearable gravitational flux. The shadows would elongate, the light would become devoured by the clouds. It was as if the world had grown cold, and all hope was lost.

"Face your judgment." The neutral voice faded away as huge rifts would open up in the sky, showing on the other side a world of darkness. Some time would pass, as the eyes of this nation stared up at the voids that loomed overhead.

Then, they would descend; like locusts descending upon the earth. The cries of these beasts would echo in the hearts of man as they came in droves from the portals in the sky. Their numbers were uncountable, these mindless beasts would descend upon London and the surrounding regions.

After the beasts, came knight-slaves. Ten Knightslaves would rush forth from the central portal. These Knightslaves would soon rush outwards, enforcers of shadow fall would turn into streaks as they rushed across the nation. If left unimpeded they would swiftly quell any rebellions that transpired during this time.

As for the men, women, and children of London? They would be made an example of, and the city of London would be bathed in sheets of blood. Screaming would echo across the city, as savage demons devoured the lives of the poor, misguided citizens that once lived within this city.

Tsk tsk.

Valentine perhaps should have felt guilt, as he felt the lives of those riotous citizens snuffed out, at the very same moment their being was cut away from the Collective to prevent such outside filth from tainting the soul of the Red Planet. But there was no guilt in his alien heart, for he knew perfectly well that this was the way things had to be. He had been sent to save the Earth, and purging these outsiders was, in its own right, a manner of doing that. So as the Old King witnessed this slaughter, he did not feel much more than a faint disappointment that his pawns had been captured so quickly.

Ah, a little chess reference there? My my, fancying yourself an Earth intellectual so quickly. But you know chess is actually not very complicated. Goodness knows how many games you've set up with other people back home... Not unlike the email games these Earthlings used to play. How very quaint.

As he watched the forces of Shadow Fall blaze across London, Valentine could not help but sigh, shrugging a bit as well. It couldn't be helped, he supposed. Noting a few of the forces coming a bit too close for his liking, he created a large wall of Emancipation's imagined energy and, knowing it was invisible, simply pushed it forward at incredibly high speed, watching with a faint satisfaction as the enemies before him simply splattered like bugs on a windshield.

There would probably be more of them now, but he was ready for that. Lowering the defenses of When Doves Cry to only the most basic of physical defenses, Valentine glanced around for any more foes as he idly ran through countless Flux Points, refining a single shot of the ability he called Controversy over and over until he deemed it perfect. With that single attack now in mind, he was quite confident for whatever was thrown at him next. Let them come.

The heavens would swell, as a massive disruption occurred in the skies above London. The ripples of the barrier between realms being breached a massive entity formed tangible effects on the world around it. Breaching the portal which was much larger than even the city of London itself, was the rocky front of a massive superstructure.

The demi-network would supply massive amounts of energy to the cardinal points that held this massive barrier open, and gradually the ground below would be cast in a looming shadow. It was as if the end of the world had drawn upon them as if gods had descended to do battle. Yes, from that looming portal a massive floating island would emerge, one that would cover the city of London and many miles of the countryside surrounding it.

"Necropolis system booting up. . . . Power diverting to Hybrid point. System Check Complete, City barrier at full power. " The computational computers within the floating city would thrum to life, as the nominal city of chaya nation, turned war-fortress rumbled across the skies. The power of the many gravitational wells that held it aloft glowing brilliantly as the island would traverse through the clouds.

However, this massive moving fortress would not bombard London, In actuality, it began moving towards Europe, a beacon of war, a promise of destruction. With the Demiveta manning control points on the city and Knightslaves lined up on rows upon its streets. A nation of brutes lurked within this city, and all of them roared sonorously in one voice. A voice of war, a voice of retribution. It was a voice that spoke of solidarity, and a voice that spoke of strength, for with them was their queen. For with them was their Queen, the queen of brutes, and with her was a king, the king of hope.

This mighty beacon of things to come would begin leaving London, however not all would be forgotten. For on the streets below, there was a presence who could not be ignored. While the Queen of demons did not sense his direct trajectory, she was sure from her own cursory scan of the town that this fiend still lay in wait.

From the heights of the city, the figure of the queen fell. Her only shell would fall from the heights above and rapidly plunge towards the ground. While not as strong as the Queen of Chaya, this monstrous shell was still strong enough to be on par with a veteran captain of the winter war and retained the maximum control over Inami's demonic skills.

An armor of threads would adorn the shells body, and they would land upon the ground as mentally they began to direct the many feral demons that ran amok in the grounds below.

"Form ranks. Move through the city in groups of ten, form a perimeter and begin moving inwards. I don't believe there's a chance of all of us being unable to find our instigator.". Inami's mental command rang out in the ranks of her subordinates, while the shell of the queen of chaya began to utilize her massive grasp over the environment to let her senses range out over the entirety of the city of London.

Within her mind she could see every street, watching the progression of her troops like a general. She would personally deal with this instigator, but she had to flush them out first. This was important as if she could not find him, there was a chance they could insite another rebellion. That was an outcome that the queen could not afford to happen.

[Hybrid point will progressively get further away from london over the next two posts. During this time the ship can be attacked, however unless stopped the moving fortress will leave the thread at that point. ]

It appeared as if for the time being that the search of the many hordes of demons was focused upon had managed to elude them.

While kinetic energy was generally not something that could be discerned. Inami was inherently capable of detecting even the most minute of changes in the environment directly around her. Considering the fact that this wasn't even at the periphery of her range, but at a negligible distance from her body, it would be unsurprising that Inami was capable of discerning the minute gathering of power just outside her walls.

A shift in power would take place in the region just outside of the walls of the city, where the congregation of kinetic energy was. Instead of the energy continuing to condense into a singular blast before firing, the region of space surrounding the kinetic force would shift, as a siphoning force would occur. Through Inami's tyrannical control of the space and environment around her, she was capable of dissipating some of the kinetic force within the attack before it was even fired.

However, this was not all that happened towards this pocket of kinetic energy; Which then became disrupted by Oorja energy. This disruption would further disperse the power that would seek to crash through hybrid points barrier until the end result was the amount of power from Valentine's attack would become negligible at best. While it would bypass the barrier put in place by the Necropolis System, the attack would only destroy a building, rather than pierce through the floating fortress itself.

"Knightslaves, begin to close in the net, fire only when I say so". The mental command of Inami's shell would move through the ranks of shadow fall operatives, the trained soldiers which followed would begin to take aim and fire at the direction of the Queen of Chaya Nation.

While at first, the fire would seem random, spurts that were followed by silence. To a trained mind, that was especially keen on language and logistics, a unique pattern would emerge. This sporadic fire would transpire for roughly a minute and a half. For soldiers or knightslaves this fire would be sporadic, to all observers most likely it would seem to be sporadic as well. However if one pieced the gun-shots and pauses between them together, the following pattern would form:

"You do understand that you will be unable to hide forever right? When I find you, I will crush you. " Inami's voice would echo faintly in the city, as the shell would direct a platoon of soldiers to sweep through the poorer districts of London, while another platoon of snipers had scaled big-ben, getting into optimal positions to sweep across the town in the case of any stragglers.

Meanwhile, in the distance, the gigantic floating fortress had begun to move further away, soon it would be beyond the reach of the city.

More of the soldiers that Inami brought with her had been slain, but the noises generated upon their demise, those were most certainly taken note of. The shell of Inami that stood upon the ground, surveying battle-field coldly with her emerald eyes would not react to those noises; Far above, in one of the high-rise buildings far from the prying eyes of shadow-fall, amethyst eyes would peer downwards at the approximate location of the rebel.

The reflecting glare upon that glass window-pane would obscure most of the face that the amethyst eyes belonged to; however, it failed to hide the brief flash of teeth that graced the demon's lips.
Those amethyst eyes would drift back to a paper map of the world, spread out upon a large mahogany desk before her. One of Inami's hands would move to tuck a long lock of hair behind her ear absent-mindedly as she studied the map before her intently. On that map were numerous objects which represented the concentrated break-down of forces in the world of the living thus far.

Meanwhile to those on the ground, the floating fortress had continued to float away, almost out of visible sight by this point in time.

The shell on the ground would focus her attention upon the task at hand, given soldiers were continuing to die at an abominable rate, Inami had the snipers that were strategically placed sweep the ground around them for anything suspicious. Meanwhile, the remaining platoons began to kick down doors and move into houses.

From there, the actual trained shadow-fall soldiers began utilizing their comms to share what they noticed. A few sporadic coms which came from the platoons which were assaulted by Valentine had already begun aiding them in triangulating his position. The knight-slaves which had previously moved elsewhere to quell riot's had all begun mopping up their respective quadrants, it wouldn't be long before one by one they would begin to return, and the shell of Inami knew this, and thus was biding her time until her heavy hitters returned.

That wasn't to say that the Shell of Inami Asthavon was sitting by and twiddling her thumbs though, instead, the shell had begun to form a complex series of runes on the ground through her intimate understanding of demon-magic, utilizing her demon ocular sequence to continue building upon the complexity of the over-all rune.

What that rune was, however, would remain a mystery for now. But while Inami was working on creating the rune she still commanded her soldiers diligently.

" Begin fortifying the houses and begin urban warfare. If he's going to flit around and use ambush tactics we might as well do the same.". Inami sent the command out throughout the comms of her soldiers, setting the stage for the next phase of battle.

[Hybrid point will have left the thread at the time of inami's next post. Knightslaves will begin returning on the 3rd posting cycle from now.]
