In the vast planes of Kansas, Magnolia's golden eyes swept across the earth. Her golden hair billowing in the wind. At her back lay the land that had been liberated, in front of her lay a land waiting to be freed. An army had been gathered over the past few days, an army of rag-tag spiritual beings. An army of individuals who had had enough of the oppression, of the rule of a foreign race that had forced itself upon their soil without any warning. They were tired of Mana.

Thus like hounds of war being removed from their cages, these men and woman of all ages, all power levels, and all walks of life rushed forth, an angry tide of people who smashed into the grunts of shadow fall that lay before them. The bark of high-powered guns boomed through the air, zanpakuto's sliced through the bodies of enemies, bombs fell along the lines of both sides, explosions taking with them a massive amount of bodies with every plume of dust and dirt that flew into the air.

War was hell, the smell of iron and gunpowder, the scent of burning bodies an ever-present companion as Magnolia looked at the messy throng of people.

"Lets go. There's no use standing here now." Raijin, an ever-present companion said, his rich tenor timbre rumbling within the confines of magnolia's mind. They were words that got a grim smile to curve from the corners of the woman's mouth, her eyes glinting like an unsheathed sword as she launched into the throng of enemies.

She was like a gust of wind, her body accelerating past the undulating sea of her comrade's and into the hornet's nest that was the enemy army. Unlike in the Covert Ops, where she withheld a massive amount of strength to move through America undetected, her Demon-slaying naginata no longer was constrained by the need for stealth.

The first blow shook the swarm of millions of shadow fall operatives like a natural disaster. The updraft from Magnolia's swing was enough to clear a space of well over a hundred meters around her. In this region, the world had become a sea of blood. Bodyparts rained from the heavens, a fine rain of blood spattered across the field of battle, dying her body red with the blood of America's oppressors.

Her next step propelled her further into the fray, her naginata having turned into numerous silver flashes of death, that cut deep into enemy ranks. Each swing of her weapon reaped numerous lives. Behind her the hundreds of thousands of men and women who had had enough of shadow fall's oppression rushed forth with her as a spear-head, smashing into the enemy ranks. These men and women fought like savages, there was no mercy in their killings.

As for magnolia though, at this point she guided her eastern blade forward, it's silvery edge exploding with vibrational force as it caused the enemies in front of her to be vaporized into a cloud of blood.

In the midst of the smog and gunfire, the artillery and bombs, Magnolia's golden eyes continued to glimmer with a savage resolution. It was the resolution that was shared with every man and woman alike that had heeded the call to battle. No longer would they be under the rule of demonkind. No longer would they live in fear of a mad queen's unpredictable mood swings. NO LONGER! they would fight, and bathe their nation red with the blood of oppressors once more, and regain their freedom.

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: ~~~

So this was a legitimate war? Chifuyu had arrived on the field of battle with the forces that a shinigami had gathered and overlooked the field from above while she kept herself hovering in a stationary position. After a moment of hesitation it seemed all hell broke loose with her own participation and with that even the Lux Orior's own representative was underfire from the stray demons that took after from the air, even though she was better when fighting on the ground she wasn't useless up so high.

"If this is how it's going to be I suppose I should involve myself more actively."

Even air could be crystallised and that's exactly what happened when she forced the atoms in the air to flash freeze and break into a swarm of shards that surrounded her, the next step was reinforcement of these shards with her prime matter which was rather easy with them being so small and easy to make many times stronger which given their sharpness when the first few demons approached her they were eviscerated quite a fair bit with their use of Shadow Movement, such was the cost of speed.

Despite this tactful move it didn't work for long and some had already begun to harden their skin and adapt to the sharp barrier that surrounded her. Giving a bothersome sigh at having enough sensibility and wit to adapt to her move the Yuudeshi caused the field around her to explode like a grenade before she dropped down to the Earth amongst the chaos. So far war seemed wrong but she had to ask herself why it felt so nice to fight them?

"I suppose I really am a pretty bad person for liking this huh?"

Talking to no one in particular she shot a crystal projectile from her back at a target that tried to sneak up on her even though more would soon step into his place to try and have a go at her she had to take this time to prepare quickly. She had come pretty unprepared for what was a grand battle after all. So for the small moment she had it would be used for her to create a crystal and place it in the ground. Hopefully it would draw some more energy from the environment and provide her with some insight to the environment with those crystal networks in the earth.

Whilst the Guardian of the 35th layer of Hell slumbered things around him continued to cycle. Days bled into months, which then bled into a year and beyond. During this period the world continued on, and slowly but surely things within the various worlds escalated. Even in his deep slumber the Rakshasa of Gluttony could feel the increased flow of souls to their domains, including his own realm. It would be this flow of souls that would eventually draw the pale demon from his restful sleep. Steadily the flow continued to increase indicating that something was most definitely going on. Unknown to the gluttonous being World War 4 had begun, and it was the influx of souls that would rouse the beast.

Many beings when awakening tend to yawn, stretch out, or something of the like, generally out of reflex. Bid'Daum on the other hand.. Upon awakening, before silver-white eyes could snap open, a tremendous rumble would make itself known to all within the 35th layer. As the rumble resounded throughout the layer panic began to set in among the more permanent residents, as they know exactly what this meant. Bid'Daum had awoken, and was hungry. Luckily for the residents of Bid'Daum's layer damage control was already underway via Gwen.

Immediately upon her partners awakening Gwen knew exactly what had to be done, both for Bid'Daum's sake, and that of the residents. She, as usual, would direct the pale demon's hunger. Fortunately for her the red eyed Hell Beast had kept tabs on events within Hell, Soul Society, on Earth, etc. Because of this she knew exactly where to send her other. Earth. To War. To feast. And so, without moving from her position elsewhere in Bid'Daum's domain, Gwen utilized her mental link to inform her other of the war and potential feast to be had.

'Meddling again.. The insects of this layer owe you yet another debt. North America was it?' Without wasting another moment the Rakshasa was on his feet, white hair swaying behind him. Standing there Bid'Daum's form would be illuminated by a dark red light before appearing as static on a tv before winking out completely.

The next moment found Bid'Daum precisely where Gwen had directed him, some place called Kansas, and war. Looking upon the battlefield before him the Pale Skinned Demon had just one thought..

The world was a bloodbath; Dismembered bodies encompassed Magnolia's reality. Every swing of her blade took hundreds of lives. Each step propelled her hundreds of meters forward into the throng of enemies. She was a true shinigami; a god of death that had descended upon the battlefield. The smell of iron had long since saturated her senses, the sticky quagmire of blood drenching her from head to toe. Flashes of silver moved across her body as she severed limbs, bifurcating bodies, decapitating enemies with extreme precision.

"Magpie, It looks like a rather strong one has come." Raijin's voice rumbled as Magnolia's golden eyes snapped up at the pale-skinned male that was standing in the sky.

With a mighty swing of her eastern blade, the region within several hundred meters was cleared around her in a shower of blood, sparks, and dust. The Shinigami was a streak of gold and silver careening recklessly through the sky. She would reach the rakshasha of the 35th layer in mere moments.

"Don't think Ill of me." Magnolia's voice echoed as her body appeared in front of the male, her right foot high over her head. Magnolia's foot shot down almost instantly afterward.

This blow was backed by Magnolia's tyrannical strength, and further compounded by Augmentative techniques like Iron fist, and demon shattering blows. This blow would be extremely dangerous, capable of shattering most defenses with vibrational forces. As if to testify it's terrifying strength, the ground beneath the blow was shaken to bits, enemy forces in the region beneath them turning into a mist of blood, a massive explosion of force throwing enemies on the earth below them in a radius of hundreds of meters around their region away like rag-dolls.

If Bid managed to avoid the sudden attack, Magnolia's body would quickly disengage, ready to counter-attack at a moments notice. Either way though, a massive cloud of dust was jettisoned upwards by the negative vacuum that remained in the aftermath of such a destructive attack. For two miles surrounding the combatants, a large empty spot was cleared. To the people below, these two were monsters; in any region they fought within it was clear there would be only death and destruction. The cloud of dust seemed to have become a domain belonging solely to the two otherworldly fighters.

" I do not know who you are; however my Ally, I entrust the men and women here with us today to you. I trust you." Magnolia's voice echoed sonorously, directed towards the yuudeshi who had joined her here today with the common goal of overthrowing shadow fall oppression.

Magnolia had not lowered her guard within the cloud of dust, even when she spoke to the yuudeshi. Her golden eyes peered into the turbulent brown gloom, and even though explosions, screams, and gunfire continued Magnolia did not register them as actively as before. Instead, she focused on the foe before her.

"Magpie, I know what you're going to do, It's never a good idea to do that. Raijin's tenor voice rumbled in Magnolia's mind, earning a faint grin on the corners of the woman's lips.

"It's never a good idea, that's what makes it perfect." Magnolia's mental response was short and to the point; it summed up her thoughts perfectly.

"I know you can't be dead yet, so you might as well come on out, and face me like a warrior." Magnolia's voice wasn't particularly loud, it didn't have to be. Her voice covered the distance between her and the pale demon perfectly. It also conveyed Magnolia's intentions perfectly: She'd rather fight him with honor, but she wasn't above putting him down like a dog.

Fatal error.

Calypso felt her face hit the recently torn dirt as she had popped out somewhere she entirely did not intend. She didn't know if someone was just large enough for her to use to transport, or some stray attack that was static long enough for her to use as an avenue to appear, but here she was, in the middle of an actual battleground.

Today was an immense mess, not only had she needed to babysit earlier, but it quickly nosedived and spiraled, from one she had viewed as a friend burning up part of a city, to having to evacuate many, to having to quickly go about and help where she could. She had warned some at other cities, eventually stopping in the wilds for a rest, and then popped up in this absolute warzone trying to get to another city. This was no time to panic; Even if she wasn't a Shadow Fall agent, she was compelled to help her kind, but this didn't mean that she'd openly attack the opposing forces, no, she'd just quickly go about, pulling others out of danger, blocking ranged attacks, and immediately attending to the injured. She had relayed more general information about her position and what was happening to her sibling and attempting to keep updated but at the same time, somewhat vague and unbiased.

They weren't the ones who decided this bloodshed should happen, it was all orders, orders and anger, anger and fear... She blotted the sight of eviscerated bodies out of her mind, knowing this wasn't the time to mourn the dead, just prevent the dead from becoming numerous. She mentally griped about her mother during this time, having no clue what she was currently up to, just the thought that she was probably up to something horrible. The young one knew something needed to be done about her home world's situation, but she wasn't anybody to anyone, all she could do was piece together her strength, little by little, with the kindness she had plenty of.

"..There, that should heal OK."

She had shed tears upon someone who had sustained a good several cut wounds, purposefully holding back on pushing wishes as the situation called for immediate action, but she had pulled this one away from the immediate combat, praying the others would be too distracted trying to tear each other apart. She had seen some golden woman slicing people to bits and thus tried to keep as far from her as possible; Calypso wasn't too sure how to deal with someone who was a walking blender.

"..Okay, I.. I've done all I can right now just, try to stay alive, you should be able to get up but, I advise getting away, there's someone here who's ripping people to shreds so, stay away from where ever you see a bunch of diced body parts.."

She parted ways with the demon she had left lying, panting and running through the crowd, trying her damnest to look for anyone else in trouble that she could feasibly help, while dodging the multiple methods of death constantly tossed to and fro and sometimes her way; she just hoped nobody would fully focus on and single her out...

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: ~~~

It appeared as if their first combatant would appear to defy their own forces push into the liberation of America from the Shadow Fall stronghold. A demon that had exponentially more power than the Yuudeshi herself did. Either way that didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Chifuyu figured the blonde woman was more than a match for him as he appeared to try and plant a drop kick on the target. There were more pressing matters, she was already planning to handle the situation in Karakura, her father not responding had her a little concerned but she figured he had a plan. One such as Shadin Yuudeshi simply didn't disappear to an attack like this.

For now damage control was being planned by her, three ones. That's all she needed, on top of herself. That was a bit of a problem, she needed more energy and she didn't want to use the Yuudeshi Network at the moment due to her operating on the assumption her father needed it all. For now it was up to her to handle this issue.

"Desmond Hayden has appeared to combat both Ravan and Mana, however given Mana's appearance in multiple places it can be assumed this is a mere replica of the Demon Queen. I will handle the situation in Karakura in regards to the Demon King, Ravan's actions. If you can provide the energy required that is and one more should be fine. You are fine to stay here. Furthermore it appears as if Valentine Ransom Carter has made a move in Europe, an interesting display of his skills."

"You can save that information, I'll look at it later and I'll give you permission to execute that plan. Contact Yuel and make it happen."

Having addressed the situation she put her attention towards Magnolia, even though her response was lacking in warmth or kindness it was clear she had steeled herself for what she was about to do if Magnolia was able to catch word with the developments of Karakura then she could possibly understand why the Yuudeshi had shifted in personality.

"These people are your own, I am merely a outsider in this battle. I am sorry but while I came here with the intent of liberating oppression and to represent my faction is not my current thought, for the moment I desire retribution for this organisation's bold action they have just done."

Letting her floating shards of crystal cover the surrounding area in blood and gore of those that tried to approach her she acknowledged this information she was receiving, even though she appeared to be talking to herself Chifuyu's eyes scanned the area around her. What leaders and tactical targets she could remove to create chaos and disarray amongst the shadow fall forces. With Magnolia handling the big bad demon so she didn't have to the crystalline lux operative was grateful she could leave that to her. For now though she decided to handle an certain demon she had taken notice in.

A healer of some kind, definitely not here to fight as she looked more like she was there to assist the troops rather than actually kill with them. However that was an issue, her actions raised morale and gave hope, she looked important and that was all the excuse Chifuyu needed to make her way to Cali's position and rip apart all the canon fodder in-between their path, so far they had all been pretty easy to deal with but this woman was definitely stronger than her in terms of raw power. How she could use it though had been yet to be demonstrated.

"You're saving them? Saving these demons are pointless don't you know, why not just let them die? While you have yet to fight in this battle your willingness to save these people makes you just as guilty as them in the actions of Shadow Fall however noble they might be."

After she had made her intentions known she was surprised by the response from those around her, the injured making an attempt to kill her even if it was a bad idea. How the act of kindness from Calypso had made them willing to try and protect her. It was annoying, even more so that a few of them had managed to actually break through her field of shards that had torn apart their brethren and successfully punch, claw and bite her. Overall it left Chifuyu with three demons of various forms trying to restrain her, with one biting into her upper-body, one having punched her arm to the point it cracked and seemed to break while the third had ripped down her shoulder and tore through some of her clothes leaving some blood to pool out from all these wounds. All of them enough to kill a normal human being.

"Noble indeed."

With that said her attackers would quickly die as the one biting her had it's head and jaw be torn apart by a crystal structure she generated off her body and the other two felt her crystal shards rip into them angrily. When it had finally been done and so long as Calypso hadn't moved then she would get to see the Yuudeshi's wounds crystallise and then heal as though they had never been there with only the torn and damaged clothes showing any signs of that attack.

"Now that it's over, you're next. It should be quite fair from my calculations thus far of course while I fully intend to kill you it's unfair of me to not introduce myself after you have shown such humility despite being a demon, I'm Chifuyu Yuudeshi."

Giving a genuine smile that looked out of place, she seemed more like she was meeting a friend for a meet-up rather than a twisted or sadistic one more fitting for having just admitted you were going to kill a person.

From his position in the sky Bid'Daum allowed himself to briefly enjoy the scene before himself. A blonde, whom evidently wasn't breaking a sweat, was sweeping her way though the battlefield leaving naught but a trail of blood and body parts behind her. As this occurred Bid'Daum, with a mighty inhale, let himself dine upon some of the freshly massacred souls.. "Not a bad appetizer." The demon would mutter to himself as the carnage before him continued. It seemed joining this battle was a good idea, for the moment.

Whether unfortunate, or not, Bid'Daum had garnered the attention of at least one foe upon the battlefield. The eyes of the woman he had been watching snapped up to him almost immediately, at that moment her blade became a blur of steel through the air as a several hundred meter area around the blonde was cleared in an instant. The pale demon couldn't help but briefly admire the absolute slaughter this woman had brought forth to the battlefield.. But this admiration could not last.. For this was War.. And he had a battle to join...

Or so that was the plan... Until Magnolia appeared before him as if she hadn't been standing down in the area she had cleared just a moment ago. Bid'Daum heard the woman speak as she appeared, but what she had said mattered not.. What mattered was not taking a hit from the being before him. The pale demon knew outright that this woman outclassed him but would not back down. As such when Magnolia lashed out with her initial attack the white haired demon was already moving, albeit at a slower pace in comparison to his foe. Fortunately for the Rakshasa his speed would be just enough to clear to kick coming from Magnloia, but not quite the affects of said kick. Even as he evaded the mighty blow Bid'Daum could feel the vibrations strike out at both him and the surrounding area..

Even as he took the impact of the vibrations he failed to escape Bid'Daum spoke, "Che.. Should have known evading the kick wouldn't be good enough.." The white haired male would briefly cradle the core of his body with an arm, spitting out a large glob of blood, it seemed after effects of Magnolia's attack had taken more of a toll than the male had expected.. Or even knew to expect. Despite not taking the attack directly he could feel the internal damage done. "You're strong woman.. Far stronger than the insects littering this battlefield.." The Rakshasa would speak out as Magnolia disengaged, giving the demon but a moments reprieve.

Despite Magnolia not following up Bid'Daum was cautious.. He had been left in a dust cloud, with no follow up immediately coming at him.. This was... Odd.. He'd never do something like this, something such as giving up such a large advantage as lack of proper sight. With a roar and outburst of his demonic energy Bid'Daum would clear the dust surrounding him, only to see just what kind of damage that blonde was capable of.. And what met his silver-white eyes was no real surprise.. the woman had cleared an immense area around the two, not a soldier nor building remained standing within the area of effect as far as Bid'Daum could see. This woman before him was truly something.. The Rakshasa, despite his hunger, could only wonder how much power he could draw forth from this woman.. How far could he push her, and her push he?

It was as these thoughts crossed his mind that Bid'Daum heard Magnolia's words.. "I know you can't be dead yet, so you might as well come on out, and face me like a warrior." Now that.. Was interesting. Face her like a warrior? Did the woman assume he was such merely due to the blade he held within his grasp? Or did she get some sort of a feel for him that brought her to such a conclusion? At this point it mattered not. This foe was evidently confident enough in herself that she wished to have as fair a fight as one could possibly have on a battlefield. Whilst the offer had been made the Rakshasa briefly considered aiding the Danava he felt arrive but with a glance in Magnolia's direction, decided against said course of action. It'd be best if such a monster was kept occupied by another, if weaker, monster.

"I find it odd that a monstrous woman such as yourself would request such a thing.." The demon would speak, his free hand sweeping through his silver-white locks as the other readied his blade before him. "Never thought I'd meet an honorable monster in a war.." Bid'Daum couldn't help the grin beginning to split his face.. This was about to get interesting..

And so Bid'Daum would respond to Magnolia's initial attack with one of his own. Infusing his blade, Zar'roc, with his demonic energies the Rakshasa would lash out with a mighty swing of his own. As the blade flashed through the air before him silver-white energy would erupt from the blade, slashing through the space and ground separating Bid'Daum and Magnolia. Behind the attack a large trench would be left in the ground, effectively splitting the immense area that Magnolia had cleared with her own strike. Whether or not his strike would land upon the blonde it would detonate upon fully impacting near her, kicking up yet another cloud of dust, and devastating the area further.

Operation War Dogs: Dogs of War [WW4 Start Event] Afterm10

With this it was time for their battle to truly begin, and only time would tell if Kansas would survive the coming onslaught.

Magnolia's Golden eyes glimmered dangerously as she heard the voice of her enemy in the turbulent clouds of dust. To the rakshasha apparently, Magnolia was an oddity, An honorable fighter, as if that word applied to anyone who partook in this war. A nonchalant smile spread across the woman's mouth; she took in the sounds of destruction that surrounded them. Hearing the roars of the motley bunch that she brought with her, the common folk who bore arms to fight for their freedom, who fought tooth and nail for their freedom.

" Us monsters have our peculiarities after all; It's the beauty of being unique." Her voice was neutral, mocking even if one focused on the rebuking undertone of her words. To their left, a towering pillar of dirt arose from the earth, the shockwave of a bomb rocketing through the dust-cloud moments afterward. The rhythmic thud of bodies crashing into the battlefield was discernable moments after the detonation of the bomb. Magnolia's focus, however, was on the voice that spoke of her being an honorable monster. That elicited a snort from her.

" Honor has no place in war, it only comes down to what lines you are, and aren't willing to cross. Calling me monster will do just fine." Magnolia's voice carried the meager distance between them, carrying the gentle, yet ferocious resolve she had with it.

Bid' Daum's attack split the turbulent motes of dust with explosive force, blazing a destructive path between them with its white-silver light. Magnolia's wrists twisted the Naginata in her hands until it was held horizontally, its razor-sharp edge facing towards the attack. Her knee's bent slightly as she kicked off the ground, the sound-barrier shattering as she crossed the expanse between them.

A brilliant shower of light blossomed between them as Magnolia's weapon crashed into the side of the white-silver blade-scar, the eastern blade cleaving through the side of the attack, as Magnolia traversed the distance between them in less than a second. Downwards her eastern blade went, her arms moving with it to cut a cruel silver arc through the air. The bladed edge whipped down with frightening speeds, intent on cutting the warrior in two from crown to groin. If the attack missed however, Magnolia's weapon would for a split-second stop inches from the ground, the force of air generated from the attack knocking any common grunts within several hundred meters off their feet.

Magnolia's follow up attack would transpire right as this happened. Whatever distance remains between them, she'd close it near-instantly, Feet spread a shoulder-width apart, knee's bent as her non-naginata wielding arm's elbow would crash directly into the man's sternum, her front-facing foot sliding forward across the ground, to hopefully knock the males feet out from under him. Avoiding, or countering this attack would give the woman the stance she needed to bring her weapon scything forth in front of her. Her hand-over-hand she would twirl the oriental weapon, windmilling it out with deadly force, it's honed cutting-edge whipping out across her field of vision.

It'd be worth noting, that while none of these attacks caused drastic damage to the lands around them, that wouldn't be because they were weak. In fact, each attack carried a titanic amount of force within them. It was only because of her masterful control over this monstrous force that no drastic damage would occur in the environment around them. Any of these blows were absolutely monstrous, capable of causing significant harm to the foe she was facing.

And this flurry of attacks was only the beginning.

Amidst the swirls of chaos and fighting around her, the yells and screams, the constant stimulation of emotions squealing at all four corners of her mind, Calypso tried to keep herself level in mind as she tried to look for any demons in immediate danger, and then she saw her.
A pale haired woman bee lined for the young demon as she had taken a static position, the sickness in Calypso's body only growing as she saw many be so simply cut apart. God, was she a walking blender like the golden haired woman? She did see that some other demon had taken it upon themselves to keep her busy, so that was one worry off her mind, though the sounds of a beginning fight did indeed occur distant from she and the new combatant.

She had prayed that nobody would come directly for her, she didn't want to fight, she didn't want to engage in violence, but... Here she was, stating that she was just as guilty as the forces in work on the battle field. She was deeply chilled by the bodies lying in pieces behind her, seeing her vision start to turn dark, the blood shining like some freakishly gorey black light art, but she forced herself to stay focused on the woman before her, til she witnessed some faces she had aided earlier on the field trying to take down the woman, only to prove to be brutally ineffective,

"W-wait! Stop! You're gonna be-"

Her eyes widened as she watched this strange lady so effortlessly kill her kind, her heart sinking in her chest as she then declared that she was 'next', introducing herself as Chifuyu Yuudeshi. Calypso's face darkened as she couldn't help but remember the terrified faces of those she saved from the volcanic grounds, a friend's actions, and now experiencing the battlefield for the first time in her entire life. It was gross, it was so gross, like she just walked into a room coated in several week old shit. She wanted to throw up, to cry, to scream, to beg everyone to stop.

But begging for her life here was just going to get her killed, she sensed the killing intent in the woman, so the wide-eyed girl suddenly sunk into a more serious expression, releasing a soft sigh. Voices whispered her fears, but she pushed it behind her once more, a brave face put on for the crybaby,

"My name is Calypso Asthavon," Her voice was filled with a sense of confidence and responsibility, "I save them because my mother has done a great disservice to all of demonkind with her horrid rule. They didn't decide for this bloodshed to happen. They deserve better, and I strive to be that better, even if I belong nowhere."

Golden tears beaded on the corners of her eyes, a sign of fear, perhaps, but she just kept talking, "And if you're intent on killing me, then I have no choice but to fight for my survival, to see my kind veer away from this violent rule. But please, at least let us move to where we cannot immediately harm others uninvolved."

Her voice quivered with her last sentence, as she fully meant it, she didn't want anyone being harmed when she herself was the target here, regardless of race.

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: ~~~

Keeping her uninterested gaze on the demon that revealed her identity as an Asthavon, making the desire to kill her only that much stronger as much as she didn't really show it in a kind of rage or anything. Her fight with Adam had made it easier to keep her violent urges of the Yuudeshi nature in check. For now though she kept her focus up, sure Chifuyu had an edge here in that she actually had the intention to fight whereas Calypso didn't show any fighting prowess. Chifuyu noted that she was indeed stronger and her having showcased her crystal based powers gave her opponent some level of understanding to the superficial nature of her skill set.

"Alright. I'll do you that much but if you run then I'll just come back here and continue slaughtering them."

Waiting for Cali to move and lead them to a place to fight, occasionally striking down the odd demon that didn't understand the situation and tried to attack her while she left with the demon princess. She was fully aware this could be a trap which would be an issue for her but so long as she obtains environmental dominance then she should be able to make up her discrepancies anyway and so when they finally got to the place that Cali led her she decided to bring up something that was bothering her.

"You're desire to protect your kind is so inefficient. The most effective way to help your kind would be to betray and bring down Mana Asthavon, there's no reason to waste your time protecting people in this meaningless way when you in fact do have such a close tie to the problem. But I suppose being here and helping superficially would make you feel better to believe doing a good deed even though these minor things accomplish nothing. If you understand my point that is?

Her comment was layered to hopefully strike at Calypso in various points. The first to distract her by getting in her head by calling her means of good deeds for her race as ineffective and selfish since someone in her position had much more wriggle room to actually do change. The second was to plant the thought in her mind about defecting, while killing Calypso would be good it'd only martyr her hence why the decision to move to a new setting was much appreciated. However the change of her stance and loyalty would prove to be a good tool to Chifuyu.
