THE GUIDE TO AN APPROVABLE ORG

THE CONTENTS ARE AS FOLLOWED

» There are a few factors that take into account what makes staff decide if a faction is ready for an organzation status:

- Activity
- Impact on the site
- Plot relevance
- Balance
- Reason

Activity: Activity is important as we want to make sure there is enough active interest to otherwise sustain the org. However, there are cases where plot relevance/impact on the site will cause less than active orgs to remain in place. Thus, it's often the case that most orgs will need a high amount of start-up activity to make it into the status of being an org.

Impact On The Site: Impact on the site is a big one to consider above all else when it comes to organizations on the site. We often look for orgs to have some type of heavy sway ICly (we are not talking about OCly) in the PH verse. The reason why the Iramasha are still considered an org (despite, as of this writing, them be lower inactivity) is because of how much impact and plot relevance they have on the site. So if a faction manages to have a heavy influence on the PH world, they can have another ring in their favor.

Plot Relevance: Plot Relevance can be seen as similar to Impact, but it's not. Plot relevance by MY definition is how relevant you are to the sites current plot. Impact refers to historical influence an org may have that is taken into consideration with their status. So most newer factions will have the edge up on current orgs in this aspect as there is always time to make new plot relevance based on the actions the leaders of factions take to get to an org level status.

Balance: Balance is another thing we take into consideration when giving the green light for an org. This is important because we don't want the site to be compromised of all protag factions OR all antag factions. We need a healthy balance to keep things interesting and is a justifiable reason to either approve or deny an org based on the way I run this site.

Reason: Reason is also a heavy factor into why an org may or may not get approved. We are looking for the org leaders of these factions/groups to otherwise give a compelling reason as to why their faction should be an org. This does NOT mean you will get automatically approved just because you think you have a good case, but rather, it shows investment and gives us a list of achievements/things your faction has down to give staff more things to evaluate before making your faction an org.
