Age: Appears 16, is really 19.

Personality: Arashi used to be more of a hotheaded person. But now he is cool calm and collected. HE loves to be in a calm serene place. Although he likes serene places, he likes the city life because it shows a bunch of diversity.

Arashi enjoys natural wonders, such as the sky, massive rivers, dusk, dawn, forests. They’re priceless and amazing to see, and its something he loves to see. If there’s anything better than the bright blue sky for Arashi, it’s the dark blue sky lit up by the light of the stars. This is his favorite thing to see.

Arashi can be very sensitive on certain topics as well, the main one being soccer. Whenever you begin to speak about soccer, you know his going to get involved. And that’s one thing you do not want to get on his nerves on.

He isn’t really the one to crack jokes, though he will at times just to lighten the mood. He prefers a more civilized conversation over most of them. Although he is not hard to talk to, you cannot speak to him in slang. That is something that bothers him greatly.

He likes to play video games, and loves to read. He always has his Iphone with him so that he can read many different types of books. A hobby you could call it. He tends to call people more often than text, which is unusual for the regular teen.

Although no matter how normal his personality may seem, when it comes to battles he has a completely different personality. He will keep his regular mentality, until the battle gets serious. His blood begins to boil as his personality changes. He becomes cold and harsh, its all life or death to him now. The reason his personality changes like this is because he realizes that in order to survive, you cant be kind. When you put his life in danger, do not expect mercy. He will also tend to let his comrades pull their own weight and not help them in battle. Although he will help them somewhat, he will turn towards his own battle, for that is the only one he thinks of.

Appearance:

Background/History: Arashi was nothing more than a regular child. He lived with his family that did not like him that much but it was ok, because he didn’t hang around much at home. Arashi was only 3 years old when problems with his family began to occur. It began with the financial problems. Arashis father had began a drinking addiction. Part of their revenue disappearing threw the bottles of beer he drank, he began to blame Arashi of being a financial burden.

Arashi began to grow up and learned to ignore his parents. He wasn’t popular at school, he didn’t want to be either. But don’t get him wrong, he still had a group of friends to hang out with. He was a very good student at school, he would get all A’s and eventually skipped 2 grades.

Continuing on with his life, Arashi was now 16 and he had graduated high school. But then on the night of his senior graduation, everything went wrong. By now his mother had already left his father, and Arashi himself. His father had been drinking again, and he was driving to a far away location. His father swerved into another car that toppled over an oil tank, a strike of misfortune and the next morning all over the newspaper was the explosion. On the paper you could see Arashi’s name in the list of killed.

Soon Arashi had woken up at seritei, not knowing what had happened, or where he was. For a few days, he had been starving until a seemingly young man brought him food. Different from all the spirits around him, he was wearing this black robe of sorts.

Arashi, was then taken to the gotei 13, there he was fed. This man in a black robe explained what had happened to him. It was only then when he truly realized he had died. He had known it before, but had refused to accept the fact. The man explained everything in the soul society to him. Arashi understood that this man was a shinigami. The shinigami went on to suggest hayuko to the shinigami academy. The shinigami never gave his name, or never asked for thanks. After he suggested Arashi he was never to be seen again.

Arashi went on to study at this shinigami academy. And within a year, he had passed the school top of his class. By then he had excelled so much he had already achieved his shikai. Although to obtain the transformation to obtain his shinigami powers had taken him longer than most people….

Soon after he had chosen to join the 6th squad. There was no particular reason behind it, he had just felt like it. He was the 5th seat of the 6th squad, but secretly he was much stronger than just 5th seat. After 2 years of training he had reached his bankai in secrecy. Although one day his squad had thrown a party. Arashi had not been invited, but he stood outside the building where the party took place. He had overheard the drunk members talking about attacking Arashi. Before Arashi could hear the reason why, he walked away to his own room. Arashi asked for a transfer of squads, he wanted to be part of the second squad. But when he asked for the transfer they put him in a fight for his life, in which he had to reveal his true abillity.
When his true abillity was revealed they had allowed him to transfer to the 2nd division, but they added a twist. They forced him to become the captain of the 2nd division.

Zanpakutô Spirit: Enkou, The physical manifestation of Arashis sword is a red phoenix. This mystical creature lives in the mountains of Arashi’s spirit world. This spirit world used to be peaceful, an oasis until an incident in Arashis life affected it. The peaceful oasis that once resided in Arashi s spirit world is now replaced with a story mountaintop. Now the once red phoenix that resided here, turned into a dark phoenix with red eyes. Although its color changed, you can still see its burning determination within the eyes.

Enkou has a strange personality. It will tend to ignore you at most times. The spirit will only speak to you when it feels that it is important. And when it speaks to you, it can be very irritable. It makes quick and snappy comebacks whenever you insult it. It feels as it is more superior than all the other beings, because it is in fact a majestic creature.

Sealed Zanpakutô : Arashis zanpaktou is quite different from the ordinary zanpaktou. The main difference is not in the blade itself, but its hilt. On Arashis hilt you have a black handle. The black handle is covered in red diamonds and in one of the red diamonds; you can see a black phoenix. The one thing that makes Arashis zanpaktou completely different from most others is that a chain is hidden inside the hilt.

Shikai Description: When Arashi releases his shikai, his zanpaktou does not change much at all. It retains its sealed zanpaktou form, the only difference being that 4 small black flames in shape of wings on the top of the handle.

Shikai Abilities: Arashi’s shikai allows him to use waves of fire that reach up to 45 feet on his own will. Also, when Arashi uses his chain to entangle his opponent. The chain can reach up to 15 feet, and no further. He can set the chain on fire, burning the enemy entangled within his chains.

Release: kigen kara sono kaijin Enkou (Rise from the ash, Enkou)

Bankai Description: When Arashi releases his bankai, his form changes. His sword disappears, and 2 jet black flaming wings appear on Arashi s back. Flickers of flames begin to appear on his feet and every time he takes a step, it leaves a small black flame behind him. Arashis red eyes begin to darken to a blackish red color.

Bankai Abilities: Arashis flames are not amplified by a extravagant margin. He no longer has to direct his flames with his sword, for he can use his hand to fire blasts of flames. He has several different combination of moves that he can utilize to cut down his opposition. He can use his flames to defend and attack, but of course it doesen’t mean his defense cant be broken.

Although Arashi’s zanapktou is no longer effective, he can materialize his own chains using his black flames. So just because his sword is gone, don’t think for a second that his chains aren’t. Another ability of his is to materialize different kinds of weapons, but only specific weapons. Such as a Scythe, a Sword, and a Zweihander. Each of these weapons come out with a black, purple and red color scheme. (For no particular reason)

The final ability that Arashi’s bankai carries, lies within his flaming wings. From his wings, he can fire flaming projectiles that can hit and burn the enemy.
