Name: Fujimaru Kudō

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Personality: Laid-back and easy to get along with, Fujimaru is popular among his squad. Although he is a nice person and easy to get along with, he takes his work as a Shinigami very seriously, and will often be the first one to volunteer for missions. Because of this and his speed, he is known for being the first person to the scene. He takes pride in this ability to respond quickly, and tends to hold others to the same standards. Many people have stated noticing a resemblance between him and Kisuke Urahara, which he receives kindly, as he respected Urahara when he was a captain and still respects him now. Fujimaru usually makes many friends (although at first they might not see as such) and is always willing to protect them.
When it comes to fighting, Fujimaru shows a more serious side. Because his fighting style focuses on speed, he is usually quiet during battles, as he is moving too fast to talk, or does not wish to reveal his location when using afterimages. Because of this, one might get a different image of his personality. Because he is very fast, he is usually the first one to the scene, and usually fights alone. Fujimaru prefers it this way, however, because he hates to see others hurt when he could have prevented it. Because of how he acts during battle, many other Shinigami view him as a great and capable fighter.
On his time off, Fujimaru likes to sleep in; trying to make up for any sleep he has "lost" pushing himself to do better. When it comes to girls, Fujimaru is usually pretty shy, becoming more clumsy as he tries to "act cool" around them. This has made him the subject of jokes when it comes to being able to get a girl. Jokingly, even Fujimaru will admit to this himself.
B A C K G R O U N D
History/Background: Born in the Rukongai, Fujimaru's past is defined more by what he did, rather than where he lived. While growing up, Fujimaru was quite mature for his age, at least in some areas. Never knowing any parents, Fujimaru had to fend for himself. This, however, did not make Fujimaru a loner, as he was often looking out for the younger children of the Rukongai, sometimes even going without food for their sakes. In his own eyes, Fujimaru never saw his own life as being rough, so he has not become some hard ass who thinks they're all that because of what they went through. Other than looking after others, Fujimaru spent his time training.
For some reason he could not define, Fujimaru had known that he wanted to be a Shinigami for as long as he could remember. Because of this, he constantly trained himself for that goal. When the time finally came around, Fujimaru took the Shinigami Academy Entrance exam, and was lucky enough to be accepted. Once in, Fujimaru's determination was only increased, as he worked hard to be his strongest. Despite this drive Fujimaru was not antisocial, and made many friends during his days at the academy. He was one of the few students that other students would go to for help, and he was glad to give it.
When the time came around, Fujimaru was ready to graduate, and was even one of the top in his class. To him, the graduation exam seemed easy, and after little difficulty, he passed it with flying colors. Because of this, Fujimaru was instantly accepted into a squad, and even received a ranked position. During his early years in the squad, Fujimaru would always work hard to complete missions, earning the respect of his higher-ups along the way. However, all along the way, Fujimaru soon began to realize that he wanted to be more than just a solder, but a captain. Even back in the Rukongai, Fujimaru had this goal, whether or not he fully realized it. With this drive, Fujimaru pushed himself to work even harder.
Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Ryūjōmaru (竜条丸, Dragon Brander)
Appearance: Being the embodiment of potential, Ryūjōmaru's form depends on Fujimaru's own heart. Normally, however, it takes the form of a large, floating and glowing orb of energy.
Personality: Ryūjōmaru is a very odd Spirit, as it is the embodiment of potential. While in Fujimaru's inner world, it takes on the form of a large, floating, and glowing sphere of energy. In this form, it has an ethereal voice that seemingly echoes from it. However, Ryūjōmaru can change itself to take on the appearance of Fujimaru himself to train him. When in this form, he shows Fujimaru his true potential.
Inner World: Fujimaru's inner world is a vast, rocky plane, looking much like the Earth when it was first created. The ground is flat and the rocks appear to be a brownish red in color. The skies are eternally cloudy, and they often let loose bolts of lightning. The lightning, however, never reaches the ground. It is only seen in the sky. His inner world is also based on potential; it being a metaphor to show that there are no obstacles in the way of his potential, only his own determination.
Sealed Zanpakutô Apperance : Ryūjōmaru has a dark blue hilt and sheath, as well as a rectangular bronze guard. Fujimaru wears his Zanpakutō on his waist, held by a white cloth.
Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities:
Slight Speed Boost: Because of Ryūjōmaru's nature, Fujimaru's speed receives a slight boost even when his Zanpakutō is sealed. This boost only applies if Fujimaru has his Zanpakutō in his hands.
Small Lightning Strike: Ryūjōmaru's other ability while in its sealed state; this attack allows Fujimaru to fire a small bolt of electricity at his opponent. Because it is small, the bolt does not cause too much damage, but it does actually cause damage. The real purpose of this attack is that if the opponent is hit, they will be paralyzed for half of a post. If an opponent is much stronger than Fujimaru, then this attack can do almost nothing.
Release: "Flash! Ryūjōmaru!"
Shikai Description: In its Shikai, Ryūjōmaru takes the form of a blue gauntlet that rises up to his elbow with exquisite gold markings along its length. There are two curved, parallel blades on the forearm of the gauntlet and a normal katana blade extending from the knuckle. Ryūjōmaru's main strength is its speed, followed by strength. Although the two curved, parallel blades aid him in blocking attacks, Ryūjōmaru's weak-point is defense. Ryūjōmaru also has a slight electric element, able to shock opponents who are struck with the blade and fire bolts of electricity at his opponent.
Enhanced Strength: In shikai, Fujimaru's strength is increased, allowing him to deliver stronger attacks.
Enhanced Speed: Because Ryūjōmaru's main ability is speed, Fujimaru's speed increases greatly in his shikai, allowing him to keep up even with some other Shinigami when in bankai.
Ryū Tenzoshu: This ability greatly increases Fujimaru's speed, allowing him to move at speeds that exceed flash step. It also allows him to create an afterimage of himself, both he and the afterimage hitting the opponent at almost the exact same time, less than a millisecond in delay. The ability lasts for two posts (My attacking post and my next post for evading my opponents attack) and has a four post cool down time because of the strain of going so fast.
Rengoku (煉獄, Purgatory; lit. "smelting/forging prison"): Fujimaru swings his Zanpakutō forward, causing four geysers of electrical energy to erupt from the ground underneath the opponent.
Rasen (螺旋, Spiral; lit. "spiral-shell (as of a mollusk) swirl"): Fujimaru raises his Zanpakutō in the air and violet energy surrounds him and engulfs anyone surrounding him. The energy itself can also randomly burn or shock anyone caught within the vicinity (the burning done by the heat of the electricity). Because the attack is so fast, an opponent or opponents might only have a second to react before getting hit.
Electricity: Although not the main focus of Ryūjōmaru is speed, it also has a minor electric element. This element gives him two basic attacks. The first is being able to shock anyone who comes into physical contact with Ryūjōmaru (excluding Fujimaru himself, and if it hits a Zanpakutō), decreasing their speed and power for their next post. If the hit is severe enough, Fujimaru can even paralyze his opponent for one post. The second attack is to fire a bolt of electricity at his opponent from the tip of Ryūjōmaru. Although not his strongest attack, it is still powerful, and can damage and shock his opponent.
Shunkō: Because of the training he received under Yourichi, Fujimaru has been able to learn the Shunkō skill, combining hand-to-hand combat and Kidō. Although it is listed here in shikai, Fujimaru can use it even in his sealed state. Despite the moves attack potential, Fujimaru mainly uses it to neutralize his opponent’s movements. Of course, because it is a weaker version of Yourichi’s and because of how Fujimaru uses it, it does not have the effect of destroying the sleeves and back of his Hamaka.
Bankai: Kokyū Ryūjōmaru (虎糾竜条丸, Tiger-Seeking Dragon Brander) Bankai Description: In bankai, a white tigers head envelopes his right shoulder and both of his hands are covered in gloves, seemingly made of white tiger fur. His blade is now completely composed of a blue energy that he can extend at will. From just above waist down there is a white cape-like sash with a gold trim and he has boots made of the same material as his gloves replacing his sandals. Two slivers of blue energy, the same as his blade, float just above his left arm and a disc surrounded by the blue energy floats above his right shoulder. Kokyū Ryūjōmaru increases Fujimaru's speed immensely, allowing him to move at speeds that exceed flash step and create multiple afterimages of himself. The electric element is also enhanced, doing more damage and stunning his opponent for longer. Bankai Abilities:
Enhanced Ryū Tenzoshu: While in his bankai, the Ryū Tenzoshu ability is permanent and does not need to be activated, as it is activated as soon as he enters his bankai. In bankai, this ability enables him to move even faster, and create multiple afterimages. Unlike in shikai, this ability does not have a post limit.
Kokyū Zesshō (虎糾絶衝, Tiger-Seeking Finishing Thrust): One of Kokyū Ryūjōmaru's strongest attacks, its blade increases to an immense size, enabling him to hit opponents even at medium range with one swipe. The slash is also ten times as strong as his normal attacks, and is a perfect move to finish battles when both the user and opponent are worn out. The ability can be used up to 3 times consecutively before it has to cool down for 3 posts. If not used consecutively, there is no cool down period.
Tora Tsume (トラの爪 , Tiger Claw): By charging energy into the two slivers of energy floating just above his left arm, RFujimaru can fire off a large blade of blue energy. After charging the energy, he does so by thrusting the two slivers of energy forward. The energy blade is very powerful, and can cut through buildings and other obstacles. This ability can be used every 3 turns.
Disk: By charging energy into the disc floating above his right shoulder, Fujimaru can fire it at his opponent. Although not as powerful as Tora Tsume, the disc has homing abilities, allowing it to follow its target and change its direction. The disc will return to its original position after it hits its target.
Enhanced Electricity: In bankai, Kokyū Ryūjōmaru can shock any opponent that is hit by the blue energy, whether it be the blade itself or any attack composed of the blue energy. It can now lower his opponents speed and power even more, and it lasts until the opponents second turn after they are hit. Once again, if the hit is severe enough, the opponent will be paralyzed for their next post. Fujimaru can also fire a stronger bolt of electricity from his left hand at his opponent; if hit by the bolt, the opponent may be shocked for their next post. Fujimaru can also bounce the bolt off of any inanimate surfaces 3 times.
Hakko Chonninaru (White Tiger Finish): Fujimaru's strongest attack, by charging up the blue energy that makes up his blade, he can materialize it in front of his opponents in the shape of a giant tigers head, mouth open. Once summoned, the tiger's head lets out a deafening roar before shooting forward and biting down on his opponent with explosive force. Once doing so, it automatically explodes on his opponent and the blue energy materializes back into his blade. This attack can be used every 3-5 turns, depending on Fujimaru's condition, but is usually used as his finishing attack.

As he followed Aya into the village, Ravana noticed a lot of the...well villagers he guessed looking towards him and Aya with somewhat questioning glances. If he were on top of his game, Ravana probably would have been able to make an accurate guess as to what they might be assuming. Of course, around such a pretty girl as Aya, Ravana was completely off his game. Hell, he had to fight to keep a blush from his face and to be speaking coherently. Luckily, he had been winning this battle so far, something he wasn't too used to. By now, with some other girls, Ravana would have already made a fool of himself, and they would have either slapped him or just left. Luckily, he was able to keep it together enough to at least remain calm on the outside. Then again, after that kiss to the cheek, he was left wondering a bit. "I mean, she has to have felt a little something for me, right? otherwise, why would she just do that?" he asked himself in thought, probably over analyzing the entire situation. Then again, he did raise a valid point in his head, she must have at least fond him somewhat attractive to have just gone and kissed him on the cheek. With a smile on his face from his own deduction, Ravana soon realized that they had arrived at a more modern looking dojo, looking a little out of place compared to the rest of the scenery. Of course, this was not to say that the place looked bad; in fact, it looked quite nice. Hell, Ravana would have loved to have a place this nice for his own training. Then again, with the work schedule he gave himself, he never really had time for training, save for all the daily battles he got into.
As Aya led him further into the dojo, Ravana noticed a group of five elderly persons. Judging form them being in the dojo, as well as a little common sense, Ravana guessed that they were either elders, or held some significance to the clan. As one of them introduced the group, Ravana's assumption was proven correct. "Ah, hello there, I am Ravana Ichiro, Co-head of the Vizard Corps" Ravana said, introducing himself with a bow to return their courtesy. Then again, Ravana was a generally nice person, so even if they had been rude, he still would have probably bowed. As he stood back up, he heard Aya tell him that she'd tell him about the clan after she prepared the meal, as well as preparing it for the elders. "Alright, well, I guess I'll hang out here and get to know everyone" Ravana said in response, a friendly ton to his voice. Turning back from Aya to the elders, Ravana noticed a questioning look on each of their faces, and honestly, it was slightly intimidating, even for the Colonel of Black Ops. "So, um..." he started, trying to think of something to say to the elders. Of course, it seems that they had already chosen a topic of discussion, and as Ravana heard their first question, he felt almost like he had been knocked breathless, a blush instantly coming to his face. "W-w-what? B-boyfriend? n-no, we're not dating, I mean, not that I wouldn't want to, I mean, she's really pretty and nice, but we just met, and um..." Ravana stuttered, quite literally tripping over his own words. Quite honestly, he had not been expecting any question like that, and it really got him. Over the next few questions that the elders asked, Ravana kept trying to explain what had happened; how he had been on patrol and sensed a large group of hollows. He kept trying to tell them that he had just fought off the large horde of hollows, and that Aya had offered this as a reward, but they still kept asking him these questions. Luckily, more so for Ravana, by the time Aya was done cooking, the elders had finished their questions and had allowed Ravana some time to collect himself before Aya came out.
Of course, as Aya did come out, Ravana immediately noticed the good smell of the food, and couldn't help but sniff the air. He had to admit, being a cook himself, the food smelt pretty damn good. As Aya prepared the table, Ravana went over and, before taking a seat, waited for the elders to take theirs, not wanting to be rude. Of course, they just had to make it so that he'd be sitting beside Aya, especially after all the questions they had asked him. Trying to put all that aside, Ravana listened intently to Aya's explanation of the village and her clan, actually finding it to be quite interesting. Of course, as Aya prepared his meal for him, Ravana blushed a bit and tried to say that he could do it himself, but found himself to be a bit too shy, so he just went ahead and let her. After the explanation, Ravana felt that he had a slightly better understanding of the village and her clan, er, clans, since there were two. Before asking any other questions, Ravana decided to try the food first. Taking his chopsticks, Ravana decided to try a bit of the fish first. It appeared to be salmon, cooked in what Ravana guessed was a soy sauce based marinade, with some sesame seeds and other garnish. Taking a piece off, Ravana brought it to his mouth and put it in. The first thing that came to his mind, was..."delicious". Damn, this food was just as good as it smelled. Hell, it might even be better than some of his own cooking, though he'd probably debate that fact. "Oh wow Aya, this is delicious, I mean, wow" he said, trying to find more words to use other than delicious. After taking a few more bites, trying a bit of everything, and giving constant praises to Aya, he decided to carry on with the conversation. "Well, I'll probably have quite a few more questions to ask you, but, how about you ask me a question first? you know, to be fair" he said, taking a break from eating to speak. Since he was starting to think that he actually might like Aya, Ravana felt that it would be best if she also got to know more about him. "So yeah, any question you wanna ask, I'll answer; I'm not really much of a secretive guy" Ravana said with a little laugh, smiling at Aya.

An afterimage, cannot also hit your opponent as you hit him at the same time because it is just "An image after the action". Keep that in mind. Also in order to have the speed to make lets say a 0.1 seconds afterwards (Basically almost at the same time) That takes a master in speed skill.

Where in the ground, underneath you? Underneath your opponent? Can it move after the flames erupt or does it just shoot straight upward and fall back into the ground? How much damage can this do? Details (NRD)

How long does an enemy have to escape a second? Two seconds? Also, your elements and fire and lightning. So you can't freeze anybody.

Chances are anyone stronger than you, you aren't going to paralyze them. Second, is the shock upon touch or say upon a direct hit. Can it still affect while its grazed? .__.
