Alright, a bit nervous in introducing something so i'll be as descriptive as i can.
Reishi Sheild
A special technique involving the control of reishi and hardening into a plate(octagonal,segmented,cross like etc.) to withstand a general attack from an opponent.This ranges from sword slashes to beams of energy.The size can very into what ever the user wants, so long as they have the energy,stamina and time to summon it.Larger barriers tend to take up more energy and time to construct and can seemingly withstand longer attacks,while smaller barriers or plates are the direct opposite.The smaller plates can be allowed to be used as some sort of Armour with the exception of only taking one hit before shattering.This can be draining in closer quarter combat and in some cases only known to cut the impact of the attack in half.
It's commonly used by quincys with low durability to make up for this flaw.

This seems like a pretty solid idea for the Quincy; and since this has backing from the Head Admin, either he or I will add this to their racial skills.

There was never really a resolve for this incident ,so I'll go ahead and shove it into archives as it's been ages since anyone has talked about it and we've reformatted Quincy on the site anyway.
