Alright; I've been noticing that some of the new members lately haven't gotten it quite across what we really do here. For example, with one particular app, for this new member's characters personality, he put: "Let's just cut to the chase. I'm" and then rest of the information. WE DO NOT CREATE APPS OR RP this way. Another case in point: Midnight's intro.
Relation to family:Sister
And while I most certainly do not fault midnight, as it was only a introduction and I doubt that he/she knows the rules exactly, we should be able to change it to the point where this doesn't happen. It makes it slightly irritating because we cannot help them, try to understand them, or properly grade apps if they are written in the wrong point of view, to place it specifically. Inspecifically, done incorrectly.
So, this is what I recommend: Right under the Guide to RPing link in the home page, we put something like:
"New Members, STOP! READ "Hotlinkeddocument" IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOU PUT UP ANYTHING!"
Hotlinkeddocumet would be something along the lines of describing how we are NOT done in the first person in any way, shape, or form of our played characters.
This way, not only does it say we care about our new members doing things right, we also have fewer of these incidents happen and confusion reign. Other than that, I really think the influx of new members is great and have seen some really good stuff going on with them. So, in conclusion, thank you for your time and consideration.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

«ARCHIVING THIS STUFF HERE»
Seeing how we have new guides for this sort of thing and highlighting it i the rules, I still don't see a need for this, as we'll get idiots all the time. Therefore, I'm putting this thread i n archives.
