• Appearance Description:
Kasumi is a very well made girl with a very redeemed figure. her body is smooth, silky and looked after as she does her daily thing be it in the woods, in a town during both night and day. She knows how to look after herself. Her main redeeming feature it would seem are either her hazel eyes, like swirly funnels of chocolate, or her abnormally large bust that make it difficult to wear most shirts her size.

Kasumi has very long, brown hair that grows down to her chin at front and down to her waist at back. When she moves rapidly, this hazel blur gives her a sort of artistic style in movement.

Kasumi's usual get up is a blue ninja outfit that allows her legs ultimate freedom to kick and run in battle. It is also very light allowing her to make minimal sound when moving. For aerodynamic purposes, she wears stockings up to her thighs but leaving her hips visible. It saves scratching her body if she hits something too hard and also lets her keep some kind of decency. Kasumi also has a white and red variant of this outfit which she uses on different missions, to confuse people trying to track her.

It goes without saying, Kasumi looks good in a bikini. Thus whenever she goes on holiday she always has one on her. These usually vary in colour, pattern, shape and size every time as she likes to keep people guessing...and looking.

It isn't too surprising either that Kasumi would go to school. her school uniform takes on a sort of stereotypical japanese theme with a sailor moon twist. She wears a white shirt, blue collar and blue skirt with white stockings and black shoes. It's wise to not she is deadly in any set of clothes.

• Personality:
Kasumi is probably one of the most kind hearted people in the Assassination squads. She doesn't enjoy fighting or killing but knows exactly when her mission takes priority. A lot of the time she will try and talk the other person into pleading for their life to the higher ups but this never ends the way she wants it to. because of this, she promises to end her opponents lives rapidly, giving them the most painless death she can. From there, she would simply move on in life, forgetting that she ever had a fight that day.

Kasumi has a thorough enjoyment for helping and aiding others that do not prove threatening to her. For example she is quite happy to clean up after people, prepare meals and help somebody with their work. She will not however listen to what people demand of her as she is fully aware of what happens when people try to take advantage of your kind nature.

Kasumi is quite easily described as 'soft' because of her lack of will to fight. She can become very emotional and also very attached to people that she likes or admires. She has no focus on winning any fights she walks into but also has no intention of getting hurt which tends to lead her in either fleeing or assassinating her attacker. Kasumi cannot help but be honest with everyone and doesn't like to keep secrets.

this all changes however when it comes to being a ninja. On a mission, she has the highest regarded ability to keep secrets and kill who she needs to creating a complete contradiction to her usual attitude. Seeing her in her assassination mode however, you can easily see just how angry she is at herself for having to do this to people. She is a very smart ninja, but also caring and compassionate towards others.

Kasumi is also demonstrated as a family oriented girl that wants nothing more than to return to her home where her friends are. This makes her reluctant in taking long term missions, but she will put her task before anything else if she must for the sake of honour.

• History: Kasumi lived her human life in a warring state in China. She was born to a family of assassins that worked in the night to kill people of high status and end the wars behind everyones backs. This usually went well where they could easily infiltrate and execute their kill without being spotted. Kasumi was expected to be a sort of prodigy for their clan but she never seemed to keep up with her fathers expectations. At the time, women had no place in the world but Kasumi was the only child and had to prove that she was capable. As much as her father hated this he had to oblige to the fact that he had no son. this caused him to move on and ended up having a child with another woman in hope that she would bear him a son. This too, created a daughter. in anger, he proceeded to try and kill the newborn and the woman who gave birth to it but Kasumi being the type of girl she is, stepped in his way and eventually assassinated him after the woman was beaten to death. kasumi took the baby to her mother and begged her to raise it as though it was hers. She agreed to kasumi's wish but nobody ever knew that she was the one that murdered her father. Her mother was the only exception.

Without a clan leader, the clan fell to chaos.

Because no man was capable of taking over the clan, kasumi was told she had to stand in while they found a new one suitable. The only male linked to her father was currently away and wasn't expected back for a while. A few days passed as Kasumi, being only a teenager at the time, had to step in for her father. This went fine, but it was until somebody inspected her fathers body and the womans who had also died there that they realised who could have done this. Kasumi's Kunai and fighting technique was taught by her father and nobody else used that sort of style. it involved poisons and several other sneaky tricks that wounded the enemy for easy kills. Seeing as Kasumi was the only capable person of this, she was blamed for their deaths. Kasumi had to flee her village as her clan turned on her. managing to escape, she fell off a cliff when the floor gave way. Ending her life, she came back as a spirit attached to her clans village. She watched people as they walked around each day until eventually a wandering Shinigami came up to her and helped her into soul Society.

it was here that kasumi made her new life. She trained with anybody that would take her as she was never one to give up learning how to defend herself. she passed the academy easily and was quickly refereed towards squad 2 for her skills. it was here she would finally meet Ryu hayabusa, her blade and move on in life.

• Inner World: the inner world of Ryu and Kasumi represents a Japanese home with the sliding doors, low table and mats to sit on. Lining the walls are several lilies of varied colours as well as Kunai. Ryu tends to sit here constantly drinking tea.

• Sealed Zanpakutô Appearance : Hayabusa is holding himself in the appearance image above. He is a red Katana with a sharp silver blade. Little more is notable about the sword, but the fact that it isn't always on Kasumi's possession is worth keeping an eye out for.

• Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities:

Personal Shunpo Kasumi had trained her shunpo ability more than much else, allowing herself to shunpo with extra added visual effects. Whenever she activates shunpo, she vanishes in a flurry of pink petals followed by a high 'ching' sounds.

Mugen Tenshin Training Kasumi as a human and now as a shinigami has taken extensive training lessons in the art of Mugen Tenshin, a special off branch of the school of Ninjutsu Martial Arts. Kasumi has trained her body to withstand extreme speed, stress and pressure allowing her to maintain those speeds and keep fighting even with loss of blood and senses.

Stealth: Noise Cancelling Kasumi is also trained in the art of stealth, allowing her to silence her breathing, her footsteps and her heartbeat allowing her to be come unnoticeable entirely by sound. This training has also allowed her to be able to move at high speeds without making a sound until shunpo is used.

Stealth: Assassination Honestly not Kasumi's favourite subject, she is capable of assassinating people by using her stealth and combat prowess before they are aware of her presence as long as they are unable to detect her. Sometimes when given a target, she will try to end them as quickly as possible to pass the pain she could inflict on them. People with keen senses may track her reitsu but she will usually mask it. Characters cannot be 'insta-killed' without owners permission of course.

Stealth: Awareness Kasumi has honed her skills in awareness as to not be caught off guard by sudden attacks. This gives her a small boost above average people her level, making it difficulty to sneak up on her if the assailant has no stealth training. Due to this awareness, Kasumi is also able to sneak around knowing fully well where people are. This is done by tracking peoples signiatures, plausible locations through logic and generally having acute senses to hear footsteps, breathing and more bodily functions.

Zanpakutō Displacement Sometimes, its impossible to tell where Kasumi is keeping her Zanpakutō. However, if you look closely you can see that it is not even there. This is because Hayabusa is a sword that only appears when needed. Just like a true ninja.

• Release: Vanish, Hayabusa!

• Shikai Description:

Hayabusa becomes completely invisible and can no longer be seen. This is no optic camouflage as the visual appearance of the sword completely vanishes as if it isn't there. However, its materialised properties still exist. The sword looks slightly different to Kasumi as she can simply see a pink glow of reitsu in the shape of a katana.

• Shikai Abilities:

Ninpo Tenshin This ability allows the sword to teleport short distances around the area at will. And no, this is not Kasumi's will, but the will of Hayabusa himself. However, Hayabusa the Zanpakutō spirit tends to be a bit arrogant and defends and attacks how he wants to by using Ninpo Tenshin to block attacks and strike without Kasumi wishing to. This is usually how she executes enemies she feels mercy for. The sword can do this twice a post and can stretch a third if it must. Practically, it can do it an infinite number of times as this is the swords primary ability.

Ninpo: Rannikage no Jutsu Kasumi activates this ability by holding her palms together, one hand pointing to the side and another straight up with two fingers outstretches and the others circled. This grants Kasumi 200% increased movement speed including shunpo. The ability is known as 'The art of the Running Wind' and allows her to get up close rapidly at extreme speeds. The actual speed she reaches on terms of skill sheets is advanced. The ability will last until she deactivates it using the same finger pattern made to activate it. If left on, this will drain her energy until she finds it difficult to keep going before finally forcing her to stop.
