A Lesson in TBL Kakeru VS Redd.

Redd found himself venturing about the rukongai forest areas once again.
Redd crunched through the likes of the rukongai forest, the brown rubber soles of his jika-tabi boots being stained green by the grass and leaves beneath them-- though this wasn't easaily noticeable.

Stars twinkled overhead-- Yes it was night time and what a glorious one it was. The atmosphere held a tempature of a solid eighty degrees a breeze brushing against Redd's cheeks as he walked on though in spite of this it seemed to be getting hotter. This was due to the fact that he was now nearing an area that spoke in the dialect of rushing water. Redd tugged at his black T-shirt the humidity causing the heat to be slightly less bearable until he could get close enough to feel the mist of a moderately sized waterfall fly up towards him.

Redd reached both of his hands up-- running his fingers through his brown hair that was rounded atop his skull in an afro. The white knuckle-blades that sat atop the chocolate colored gloves upon his hands seemed to slice some of these hairs from his head-- which fluttered to the floor moments later.

Redd made no attempt at shrouding his own spiritual pressure. Even if he had it would flare a small bit as he stepped onto a slightly shimmering-- yet vaguely dull red plate of his own reiatsu-- just above the surface of the lake proceeding to walk along it. He stopped somewhere in the middle of this watery area the sound of rushing water over riding most sounds in the area. The moon shone down from over head, illuminating this place for all to see.

He reached his hands out behind him-- his reiatsu surface being large enough for him to place his hands behind him so that he could support himself while sitting.

He sighed-- not from exhaustion but at the thought of having finally found a place that was so.....Perfect.

To assume Redd wasn't " Looking for reiatsu" would be a perfectly correct assumption. But then again who WAS Redd? His credentials alone could have told someone that he'd see directly through some warped attempt at shrouding themselves spiritually. He'd Caught captains in the act-- and then those above! The fact of the matter was, Redd had a unique understanding of reiatsu and reiryoku-- not just because he was permitted to see it at times, but because He was the stealth corps lieutenant.

You tell ME what a second division member rely's on in the pitch black-- which tools were necessary for combat without sight....?

To assume Redd wasn't " Looking for reiatsu" would be a perfectly correct assumption. YES. But only because he didn't need to look for reiatsu. This reiatsu sensing had been burned into his brain over the past three hundred years. He'd trained for moments like this, and he was an artist of his trade.

Now Redd was no future gazer, he'd no knowledge that this person -- whoever he was had planned to attack him-- though he felt the creeping sensation that he was being watched-- as anyone would. Not only this but he'd known from the start someone was in the general vicinity of the area. If ANYTHING he'd need to look for their position, which was revealed moments later by the bubbling of reiatsu-- and this is what made him move.

Redd stood-- he would have seemed to be KNOCKED too and fro in the cradle of the explosions that took hold of him-- but this wasn't the case. In reality this was not him, an after image, an Utsusemi, a second division that he'd made it his BUSINESS to know, why ? For moments just like these and where was he now? Take a wild guess.

Redd fissioned into place no more than half a second after the explosion had gone off. Zanpaktou drawn-- No more than eight meters from the person who'd stood to attack him.
Pathetic.
If leaving yourself " out in the open" could be considered childish, then attacking someone ON YOUR SIDE with a borderline lethal blow, without even a verbal heads up? Would be considered cowardice in this instance-- and it would be dealt with as such.

Redd was to the left of this individual-- his sealed ability having already activated it -- there was literally no way SPIRITUALLY he'd know that Redd was beside him. Kakeru was fast-- but he was no comparison to Redd's shunpo -- and that's what set them apart.

" Mature."
These words were held little above a whisper-- though even so they seemed to alert the male before him-- as He'd pointed his weapon in the afro ninja's direction he seemed to immediately fission out of place. This projectile substance would have seemingly rocketed onward into nothing.

Redd shifted back into place a small ways away-- hidden by the tree line thought he was still capable of watching Kakeru form his elevated position.
A resounding buzz would have made itself known at Redd's shikai was spun about on the tassel that sprung from the hilt of his zanpaktou-- shit was about to go down.

Kakeru would begin feeling the effects of Jizen Ni immediately, His senses would begin to fade as these vibrations in the form of sound invaded his system. His hearing being over ridden by little more than half-- while all senses besides touch-- though including his sense of balance would be watered down by 25%. Needless to say, with his balance capabilities so perfectly hindered he would find it difficult to move as fast as he had before without falling on his ass-- which was perfect for Redd.

" Ora. " If Redd was visible, one owuld have notice Redd's pupils spreading out form the middle of his eyes-- clouding up the actual whites of said sensory bulbs. An ability such as this would have allowed Redd to see the spectrum of smokey color that was ones reiatsu/reiryoku signature.
