This Edo must have known that her playing field was water. It was going to be hard for him to get her while she was in her comfort zone. As his scythes began slicing their way through the water she was in, although they were fast and had enough strength to push through, the natural resistance the water caused the scythes forced them to slow down while they were submerged. Since Amelia was not affected by the waters natural resistance, she could easily step forward, back, or side to side to avoid being cut. This is exactly what she did. She jumped back, pivoted around, ducked under and jumped over multiple scythes, and in the end she managed to avoid them all. This gave her a bit of a confidence boost and allowed her to feel like she was ready for an attack. Allowing her energy to begin to show, she kept her eyes on the Edo. It seemed he was just standing there, waiting for her to come up. She wondered if he realized that she could breathe under the water as well as see clearly through it. This was her power. She was practically the essence of the ocean itself. She was not coming up any time soon.

Amelia was now ready to launch her own attack. She raised her arm, swinging it rather strongly in the direction that the Edo now stood. Practically the entire lake shot up from the hole it was in and towards the Edo, much like a rather large wave. Still, this pressure that pushed forward did not affect her balance. She stood still as the water moved, aiming to push the Edo back and away from her and the lake. As this was done, she also brought down some water below her feet to allow her own way of flying. Changing the temperature and turning it into ice, she used it to push herself into the air and now float above the lake, watching the Edo to see how it would react to such a massive amount of water suddenly shooting forth like a large wave to knock him down.

Edo Yako felt himself wincing as he was blasted back by the immense wave of water. He stumbled, nearly cursing before the wave overtook him in the air. There was nothing he could do as he was slammed by the water, splurgging and gurguling and spitting out water as fast as he could, before finally his body acted as he wished it to.

His mouth opened wide as he released a gutteral cry, his entire body suddenly releasing a massive wave of energy as he slammed back against the lake, neutralizing it with raw spirit energy as it was brutally shot back down into its hole. He stood there, panting, the smile gone from his face as he frowned with an open mouth at his opponent. He swallowed heavily, seeing her now floating on some kind of icy construct. As he had pushed the water back, some of its shadow was still on him. He suddenly smiled, as he simply vanished.

He reappeared underneath Amelia's strange ice transportation, one scythe in his hands as he brought it above his head as if in a spinning motion, his face looking directly at the ice above him. His ice shot through the platform above him, a sneak attack that happened almost instantaneously after he had first vanished, thanks to his Shadow Travel ability of his Power Stage 1 release, which he had performed to knock out the gigantic wave from the sky. His scythe attempted to tear through her from below; he felt certain that he would at the very least cut at a leg or perhaps her hip; it was just that sudden of a blow.

He looked wearily down below at the water as another plate of reiatsu held itself fast at his feet, even as the giant ice sculpture he had just struck cracked in the background. It shattered, as he looked up at Amelia, trying to find her as the massive shards crashed back in the wake of the lake, crystals falling freely from the sky...

Amelia watched the Edo with narrowed eyes. It seemed that during the time she had in the water, she had shifted into her 'snake' personality. She wasn't that sweet, innocent girl anymore. Now she was ready and willing to fight. Her motivation was still the same of course. She wanted to impress and make Doctor like her even more. The Edo had succumbed to her attack quite nicely. It seemed that in this battle, the Edo didn't have the ability or never really thought about dodging. She noticed this the moment she was able to use her tail to grab and throw him. He had not resisted at all and practically let it happen to him. Now, the Edo vanished from her sight. Amelia wasn't stupid. She knew he was going to try and attack her from an opposite angle. The only problem was, which one?

It happened a bit too fast for her to completely react. The moment he moved between two sections of water that she had power over, she was able to sense where he was, but was still not fast enough to completely evade his attack. She knew this, so she moved her leg just enough to minimize damage, causing a pretty long, but shallow gash to form on the outside of her thigh. At this same time, she used a mental command towards the water, having it shoot straight up towards the back of the Edo, freezing into an icicle mid-attack. Due to the fact that she did this while he was also attacking her, she doubted highly that he was going to be able to dodge it completely, if at all. If it was able to hit him right where she aimed it, there would be a thin and pointy piece of ice through his back and stopped about an inch out of his chest.

Once that was done, Amelia leaned back, literally allowing herself to fall into the water below. Since he had put it right back into the hole, it only allowed to her jump in and begin an accelerated healing process. Now, she was definitely having the upper hand since he also was standing right above the lake. Taking advantage of his placement, she held up and open hand, her finger pointing towards the Edo. “Aisu Yari.” she said the words. This was a spell of her own, similar to how Shinigami cast their Kidō, she cast this the same way, by calling out it's name and using her energy to use it. This particular spell of hers was translated “ice spear”. It was how it sound. From the tip of her finger, as she cast the spell, a six foot spear of ice shot out at three times her regular speed towards the Edo in an attempt to pierce his body.

The Edo smiled brightly as he felt the scythe finally tear through flesh, his body spinning as he flew away from the massive wave of ice and water. His eyes widened and he clenched his teeth, visciously, as a large icicle penetrated him. ”WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT???” He asked her, as the icicle completely shot through the base of his pelvis, making his crotch so much a pool of blood. He flipped, his feet falling back on a plate of energy as he reached a hand down, wincing heavily. There was a neat round hole in the black cloak he wore from Amelia's attack, showing where the damage had been done, the hole covered in blood.

He lay, his chest heaving as he laid on the transparent plate of energy, looking down below at Amelia through the water. His eyes began to widen as she pointed fingers up at him, and he swallowed heavily as he forced himself to stand up. First on one knee, then pushing up completely as he looked down below at her. He winced, heavily, before holding the scythe up high. He took a deep breath, loosening his grip on the scythe for a moment as the handle slid through his hands, before he turned both of his wrists.

It made a sickening SHLUNK where the scythe pierced his body, directly between his legs, he gasped from pain before drawing back out the scythe quickly, panting as his wound was sealed from the use of the scythe's special ability, Reversal Cut. He watched down below as her mouth moved, his scythes now spinning above his head as a strange white belt appeared around his waist. This belt was slowly healing his internal injuries; after all, Edo Yako was a medic.

Then he threwhimself back, he blinked as a huge spear of ice suddenly appeared in front of his face, before continuing to shoot upwards as he continued to fall back. He could feel the large scratch it had placed on his chest; although not deep, it was large. His scythes flashed as he sealed the wound back up, looking down at her below him as his face looked downwards towards the lake, the arms of the cloak billowing out behind him as he descended.

He reached a hand out, a peculiar energy appeared in it. Soul Claw. He thought to himself a large black claw apppeared in his right hand, made of his energy. As he reached the water, he swung the claw, as he heavily rended the water. He caused the flow to part as he descended down directly next to Amelia, his eyes narrowing as his hand flashed out...

The claw, aiming right for her lungs. With the part in the water he had made, he aimed to damage her before she could react to his unexpected movement; he had expended a large amount of energy in parting the water, just enough for him to fall in next to her with shadow travel. The water was coming back over him, but there was nothing he could do about it now as he merely looked at her, waiting to be attacked in her element after having boldly struck out at her.

Amelia noted the sudden change in the manner in which the Edo fought. Before, he never seemed to attempt to dodge and just allowed things to happen. This made her smirk, as if she were already victorious in this battle. Not only had she pushed this Edo to the point where he felt the pressure to heal himself, but she noticed both of his attempts to dodge her attacks as well. It seemed that he was beginning to understand that she was definitely an opponent to be reckoned with. Now, as she watched him, he parted the water that she was standing in. The fact was, this water was completely under Amelia's control. If he parted this water, it was because she allowed it. Although that would sound rather cocky, it was true. If she wanted to keep this water still, she could have and definitely would have, but she wanted to impress a certain person and show him that she could hold her own on the battlefield if needed. That was the entire point of this exercise, at least in her mind. She was training for him, for the Doctor, and that was it. She cared for nothing more, except for him.

As this Edo came towards her, the water was already taking it's natural flow and coming back on him rather quickly. That was to be expected. Amelia could tell where he was about to aim, but she wasn't going to allow him to tear out her lungs. Her tail, without any resistance from the water, swooped around and wrapped around this claw that he attacked her with twice. This time, she did not throw him, but instead she quickly raised her palm to his entire body, using her tail to keep him still. If this Edo was not able to break free, this next attack would likely do him in, although since it was Doctor Hebi's Edo, she doubted it would be taken down so easily. So, she mumbled yet another spell to cast. "Aisu Sohen!" she said quite clearly and thirty shards of very sharp ice shot forward towards the Edo at double her own speed. With them being in such close range, she doubted he was able to dodge, but only time would be able to tell.

Edo Yako blinked as that tail wrapped around him again. He struggled, but he could not break free of the tail. He watched her point to him again and he gulped, his eyes wide. ”Release... Power... stage...” He began to mutter, as the cloak that he wore around his body began to flash. It changed color, becoming red as he opened his eyes to Amelia. A large red hood extended over the back of his head now, covering almost over his eyes as he looked at her intently for a few moments, regarding her before at long last... she said the words.

His eyes slowly opened as the ice shards pierced into his body... the tips, at least. All over his body, blood began to flow down. However, they were nothing more than flesh wounds, as held by Amelia's tail, Edo Yako began to emit a darkness. A shadow came over his body, as the wounds began to regenerate the platelets inside of his body, healing him at an acclerated step as the blackness suddenly ruptured.

He reappered behind Amelia, Four scythes around her neck. He had used his Shadow Flash Step to appear behind her, and his increased speed to place his scythes blades pointed towards the front of her body, the handles to either of her sides holding her in place. The two chains from his feet hung simply in the water, his hands holding the top two's handles. ”Grim... Reaper State.” He said simply, before slashing at her body with all four scythes. One at her neck, one at her chest, one at her hip level, and one at her ankles, he pulled the scythes as he vanished once more, reappearing above the surface of the lake, that shadowy aura surrounding him as he held both hands out before him.

”Shadow Construct.” He said as all around him, the black aura began to spread, his now red and black eyes looking down at Amelia, watching and regarding her coolly, awaiting her reaction.

Amelia's eyes widened as her attack did practically nothing to his body. He seemed to transform right in front of her and just a moment later he was gone. Since the two of them were currently at the bottom of the lake and water was practically the essence of her very being, she was about to sense him as he appeared behind her. As his scythes moved around to the front of her body, she began turning her head back to him with wide eyes. It was like everything was going in slow motion, but still her body was unable to react the way she wished. Knowing this, suddenly something happened to her. It was like a small serge of energy, reacting by reflex and the need to keep herself unharmed. It happened instantaneously. Some how, she completely shredded the top layer of her skin, vanishing from his sight, and reappeared a good thirty feet away from the Edo, completely naked. She dropped down to her knees, confused and startled by what had just happened. She looked around and then down to her body, her eyes widening when she realized she had absolutely no clothing on. She looked back towards the Edo, able to see him completely clear.

Amelia figured that if this Edo had to breathe, it would be coming soon. How he was under the water for so long and still not having to take in air, confused her. Of course, she was still not really aware to what exactly this 'creature' was in the first place. When she looked towards him though, he was gone. She looked around again, but saw nothing. Then, she looked upwards just able to see him out of the lake now. Once again, she felt she might have the advantage. not only was she at the bottom of the lake, which would automatically make it hard for him to see her, but she was able to stay down here as long as she needed. She could breathe under the water, so right now she felt sort of safe. She stepped forward, looking down to her leg and seeing that it was completely healed. The water had been healing it this entire time, but that ability she just used removed the rest of it. "It must have been... A result of the surgery..." she said and suddenly a smirk came onto her face. "Hehehe... hahaha...." So far, she liked what it had done to her. These powers were rather fun.

"Time to get a bit more serious..." she said and suddenly a burst of energy shot out from her body, strong enough to force the water around her apart, revealing her position to the Edo. The energy around her own form was a mixture of gold, blue, and a touch of black. Her hair shifted from white to black and her eyes were very similar to that of a snake. It would be strange to anyone watching that she was ready to battle without any clothes. Even she would have had a bit of a problem with it, at least until her tail reached out towards her cloak and brought it back towards her. She held the palm of her hand out towards the Edo, "MIZU SUNE-KU!" With those words, an extremely large snake of water shot forth from the palm of her hand and towards the Edo. This snake was extremely large, large meaning thick or wide. It's length was not measurable until she decided to stop the spell, which she did not until it would hit him. The first time, if he dodged, she'd just have it turn around and come right back towards him. This time she would have to stop, and when it did stop, the snake would completely freeze, becoming ice and encasing the Edo if it was caught.

Edo Yako didn't even blink as he appeared overhead, noticing the black cloak that normally covered her body had vanished. He merely watched, the red cloak he wore lengthening as the black field around him continued to extend, the smile on his face widening as the energy continued to grow.

His eyes began to widen as the field around Amelia began to get even larger, his smile doing the same, if that was possible. The shadow around him suddenly flickered around him, as he watched her hair that was flowing behind her change color, her tail snagging the cloak that she wore as she pointed her whole palm towards him this time.

Suddenly, the black field around him changed. It seemed to morph, solidifying as a massive creature appeared all around Edo Yako, twenty feet tall and zero feet miniscule. It was humanoid in shape, like a giant cyclops in shape, but with a large scythe in each hand. As the snake came towards him, the creature roared, the scythe in its right hand coming around, smacking into the snake and pushing it aside as its path was rediverted as to Amelia's orders, zipping around behind Edo Yako as he turned himself around. The snake shoved hard as the shadow beast crossed the scythes in front itself. It seemed to grunt as the huge force slammed into him, before releasing a huge roar as it pushed the snake away yet again.

The beast was panting as the snake continued to come at him. The scythe in its left hand came down, moving right through the giant snake, as the scythe in its right hand shot in front of itself. It began to fall back as the snake slammed into one of his arms, removing it from his body. The beast cried out in pain as it lost its arm, the shadows dissapating and falling to the grounds below as Edo Yako himself gripped his right shoulder, wincing as if it was his own arm that had just been forcibly removed from himself.

The snake just kept coming at him, as the beast suddenly threw the scythe out of its hand, the snake approaching quickly as its hand pushed into Edo Yako, the latter's eyes widening as the shadow beast pushed him out of himself, as Edo Yako fell down towards the ocean, his long cloak trailing behind him once again as he watched the snake slam into the beast, as the beast cried out, grabbing onto the snake to itself as it crushed it, hard, dispelling the energy in the water as the snake went through it and cutting it off.

Edo Yako looked down to the seperated area around Amelia, as he turned his head. His body surged out that black aura once again as he vanished, reappearing right in front of her. His face came up to meet her eye to eye from behind his cloak, as his fists shot out, a direct shot to her face, a spinning kick to her side followed by his scythes shooting around her body, trying to chain her up as he held a large scythe above his head. His leg was still high up in the air to try to hold her to the spot, as his eyes narrowed, his eyes spotting her right arm as a shadowy scythe appeared in his hand, the same size as the ones that he had been using before, as he cut down, aiming to remove the limb from her body.

He became covered in the shadows once more as he shot backwards, his feet landing simply on the floor of the clearing of water as he watched her, his feet catching on the lake's floor and skidding slightly as his cloak settled. ”...You're rather strong. Too bad I can't kill you.” Edo Yako said simply, a gigantic smile appearing on his face as he began giggling to himself, his eye watching her and waiting, those black and red pupils in plain view to her, his gaze disconcerting...

Amelia was shocked at the sudden summon of such a strange creature. She watched as the water snake hit him the first time, but some how it was pushed away. That was strange, but the energy this creature was using must have allowed it. It seemed this thing was trying to push it away as second time as well, but it would react like water coming out of a hose and move around the scythe. It would not be pushed away, instead it would freeze upon impact around the creatures scythe, all the way up to his arm. The pressure of the water had pretty much ripped the beasts arm from it's body and then came back for another, aiming to take the entirety of him this time. As the snake slammed into the beasts body, Amelia watched the Edo falling towards the ground. Raising her right arm, she brought the water upwards in a small sense of compassion and allowed the water to catch him instead of him slamming into the surface and getting hurt. Why she showed compassion to an enemy was known to only her. She figured that this was something of Doctor Hebi's and didn't want it to get hurt more than it had to, so she protected it in this instance.

Once the water caught him, she allowed it to bring the Edo down to his feet. The snake had been destroyed by the Edo's summoned creature, and Amelia's eyes were currently on the Edo, since he was closest to her. She was completely different when she was in battle. This personality of hers was much more focused and strategic, a piece of her old life that remained. The Edo immediately went in to attack her. She had no time to really react and it hit her in the face. Then, she felt a rib snap when his leg came around to kick her. After that, she allowed her body to fall to the ground to avoid any attacks he might have come at her next. While falling, she placed her hands on the ground, ignoring the immense amount of pain in her side and used the momentum to swing her legs around and trip him, which would cause him to land on his back if he hadn't shot backwards and caused her to miss. She pushed herself to her feet and looked up to him, narrowing her eyes in irritation at his sudden 'sneak' attack.

It seemed he was giving her time. So, she dropped her energy and allowed the water to surround her normally once again. Using this time, she got dressed once more, putting her cloak on. For some reason, she felt a lot more comfortable in it. Once she was dressed, she only looked up to him, able to once again see him completely clearly through the water, which he would likely barely be able to see her, especially since the sun was now going down. "Wait..." she thought, "The sun... is gone..." Yet another smile formed on her face and she closed her eyes as if she were concentrating, focusing her energy. It was night, but she unfortunately could not feel it. "Damn..." she thought and then shrugged it off, opening her eyes. Either way, it was her turn to attack. "I don't.. know what else I can do... I have the water, bu-..." she felt something strange on her arm and looked down to it. Her eyes widened as she saw the head of a blue and black snake slither from the pores on her skin.

"Oh my..." she raised an eyebrow as it slithered out, followed by another, and then another, and another, each of them coming from her arm at a rapid pace. "Another... gift from Doctor Hebi..." She thought happily and then smiled. She could tell that she and these snaked were attached some how, connected mentally and spiritually. "Now... Time to make him proud!" she said, giggling as a single strand of her hair began to lighten and become lighter. She held out her arms towards the Edo and at a very fast pace these snaked shot out towards him. There were hundreds, if not thousands of them shooting towards him. The force of these snakes shooting out even pushed her onto her back, sort of like a girl shooting a large rocket at something. She could not keep her balance. The snake on the other hand, shot towards the Edo, all with wide open mouths and ready to bite, infecting him with their venom. This is what Amelia wanted them to do, since she had yet to discover any of their actual abilities. She knew snakes did one thing, bite and poison, so that is what her mental command told them to do.

Edo Yako's eyes narrowed as he realized she was lowering her poewr once more, before he seemed to vanish, the shadowy aura around him flashing for just a moment before he was suddenly in the air once more. He used the moment to stop and think. He hadn't expected her to try saving him like she had. It was unusual, he thought, but he was pretty sure it would allow him to defeat her; she didn't seem to want to allow massive damage to come to him.

His eyes narrowed as he continued to watch Amelia, uncertain about what she was trying to do. He blinked for a few moments, looking around himself. ………..IT'S NIGHT TIME. He thought for a moment, beofre an immense smile came over his face. There was now shadow all around them; and he was fully ready to take the advantage in this case. He blinked for a few moments, before his eye narrowed once again, irritated. It seemed that for all of his darkness powers… he couldn't see in the dark. As such, he could only depend on his sensory of energy to find her.

Speaking of energy, he finally took note of what Amelia was doing with hers. Some of her energy seemed to…. Slither? Out of her. His eyes widened, as he sudenly realized that her energy had taken the form of a snake; something he had been in no way expecting. Not at all. He felt his scythes rotating out before himself as his right hand came down on the snake, beheading it as it approached the Edo.

His hands and feet began to move quickly, moving in small circles as he felt a huge number of the snakes fire out. His scythes created nearly a wall in front of himself, deflecting and slashing at the snakes as they came at him. However, even with his full power, he was not able to stop all of them; three got through, biting him in his right shoulder, right arm, and left leg. He winced, worried now; he knew what kinds of things snakes had.

As the onslaught slowed down, he put his arm in front of his mouth and began to suck on the wound, violently. He spit out the liquid, knowing that 95% of it had been removed from his veins. Then he used his acrobatic skills to reach up his ankle to his mouth, biting down on it as well as he sucked on it, extracting the poison the snakes had inserted. Once again, he got almost all of it out. His right arm moved quickly as his scythe slashed into his shoulder, removing a huge chunk of skin and causing a large fountain of blood to squirt out, descending on the water below as it began to turn red. He could feel that this maneuver removed roughly 80% of the poison that had entered his stream that way.

He began to speak, as he descended from his place in the sky, his cloak still long beneath his feet. "Not bad. But I am a medic foremost, a fighter… second." He said, smiling at Amelia as suddenly…

A scythe reached around from behind her and ripped at her chest. Standing behind her… was another Yako, completely ebony black from head to foot. He stood there, his back to Amelia as the scythe took its place back in his hand, his black head looking nowhere near her.
