Walking Insanity, Shinku Nikuya[Open]

The frozen wastelands. One man dared to wander near them, even after having been warned by dozens in the last city he passed through. Horus Sariel, or Shinku Nikuya as he is known had come to the wastelands after hearing rumors about them. Said rumors included a few facts like the amount of Hollow in the area, and how thin the border between worlds was. It seemed that humanity had decided to abandon these lands, allowing the Hollow to rule them. This had caused the lands too become excessively dangerous for most to wander.

Horus himself, even in his insanity, knew it was a risky venture even for he. Alas it mattered not. Horus acted on instinct and action more than thought, and right now his instinct wanted a bloodbath. And what better place for a bloodbath than one with no law? It was with that in his fractured mind that Horus sought out the lands.

He had passed over, walked through, and crushed bone beneath his feet in his trek through the wastelands. The frozen temperatures while unexpected didn't seem to faze the insane Vizard. His crimson hair had been weighed down by ice and snow, his golden eyes peered forth from behind his bangs. From what could be seen of Horus through the snowy winds was his black outfit, and the black combat boots he wore. Due to the weather one could not tell if he were armed, injured, etc.

The further into the wasteland he travelled the more and more he came upon signs of Hollow life, and battles once fought. Continuing on his way a skull was crushed beneath his feet, a manic grin plastered on his face as he sensed something nearby before seeing a shadow dart from cover to cover. Grin ever increasing laughter began to erupt from Horus's lips before suddenly turning into a vicious snarl.

In mere moments Horus had gone from enjoying that this Hollow was trying to toy with him, but as the seconds continued and the Hollow refused to come out Horus grew angry. Thus in only a few seconds Horus had gone from his manic joy into an insane rage. In just a moment Horus, using only his natural speed, had dashed from his spot only to appear behind the lesser Hollow, a snarl upon his lips.

The Hollow turned, seeing its foe appeared to be unarmed. A roar sounded out as the discovered Hollow charged forth, intent on killing this foe quickly. A large mistake. Horus erupted into a chilling laughter as his hand and arm ignited in his reiatsu. Looking to the Hollow Horus threw his hand forward, held in a knife hand position as it easily pierced the Hollow's mask. Using his Reiatsu Scalpel had made it too easy. Inside the Hollow's head Horus closed his fist before ripping his hand the rest of the way through, crushing the brain of the Hollow before it began to vanish into nothingness.

Hand covered in the black 'blood' of the Hollow Horus turned on the spot, continuing into the wastelands looking for something else to kill. The grin had yet to leave Horus's face, infact it had only grown, his hands clenching constantly.

Project Alpha

Within this frozen wasteland, there was another shinigami based being within it, but this one followed a different path of evolution compared to the first. This being was not known by his first name, but rather given a label that was the title of his experiment, the project that made him a servant of Key. That was Project Alpha and was the first of six to create Key's perfect servants. There was Alpha,Beta,Delta,Echo,Foxtrot, and Omega of the six names. The only active one's though were Alpha,Delta, and Omega at the current time, the other three were still asleep from when Key created them. Alpha's goal at the moment was reuniting the servants of Key in one way or another and by doing so he joined the Monsuta so they could help each other out.

Currently, Alpha traveled in this wasteland in search of the site that he might locate one of the missing servants. The Hollows in the area didn't bother him too much, sensing his power and hollow power within. They were definitely not intelligent, but they had instincts that told them when to hide and when to approach an enemy. Now if some of these hollows started to work together than he might start having problems and small fights with them. At their low state though it would take a Menos to take him down at least or weaken him to a point that he was at a disadvantage.

"I suppose if Key hid one here, they would have to be fairly well protected." He stated to himself.

Alpha turned his head to find another being approaching through this frozen wasteland. "Could this possibly be one of them?" he had run through his mind as he sensed hollow and shinigami. Which would be identified as Project Foxtrot, but Alpha did feel a connection in their powers, this being did not contain any power of Key, like any servant would.

"This doesn't look good if It's a Vizard Corps. Member, I'll have to deal with this accordingly." He said within his mind."Stop where you are or I'll be force to use my weapons." He told the being and draw his Zanpakutō towards it. He held his sword within his left hand showing his preference of hands at the moment.This would not end well was his best guess at the situation.

Horus had continued on through the wastelands, bones turning to dust, and ice crushing beneath his feet. A trail of crimson droplets in the snow could be seen following behind the Vizard. Said trail created from the blood dripping down his palms. What had caused it? His own grip, in his hunt for a thrill his hands hadn't stopped clasping closed tightly before opening again. Each time had dug his nails deeper into his skin.

A break in the clouds.. The sun glints off Horus's teeth as his grin continues to linger. The he felt it, something stronger than himself, and something somehow similar in a way. A grin expanded, tongue flickering across his teeth as Horus took towards the energy he could feel. As he ran Horus could see Hollow hiding in fear and cowardice, a pathetic sight.

Then he heard a voice break through the sound of howling winds, "Stop where you are or I'll be force to use my weapons."

Sliding too a stop Horus looked to the voice. His golden eyes shone with crazed blood-lust, and his grin struggled to grow wider as he burst into insane laughter. The man he saw appeared to have lengthy silver hair, crimson eyes, and an aura of power about him. The man drew his weapon, a blade with quite the fancy looking handle and guard.

Laughter increasing Horus noted the man held his blade with the left hand before kneeling down. For a moment it seemed as if Horus was submitting to the stronger being... Until he rose once again, a pair of tanto drawn. Looking at him now one would notice the change in his grin, it had become absolutely blood-thirsty. Horus's eyes showed only madness and the will too fight.

His laughter ever increasing Horus struggled too speak through it, "Ohhhh.... Whats this?" The laughter increases, "Do you not accept madness? Do you wish too fight? Too kill? Run in fear? Hide? What about slaughter everything huh? hehehehahahaahahaha." Horus's insanity began to shine through more and more as he spoke, his grip on his blades ever increasing.

Project Alpha

Alpha at first thought that this man was going to surrender and be peaceful with him and maybe they could have a conversation. But that was way too easy in this day and time. The golden eyed individual had kneed down towards him but he would go on to laugh and get louder with madness. This caught his attention right away and as the being rose again with both of his weapons drawn. Alpha was ready to react in anyway that would at least keep him alive. This man was indeed not a ally, but an enemy of him, he doubted though this was a member of Vizard Corps. with his mindset.

"Madness is mindset that is not productive. But killing you is definitely productive at this point." He told the Vizard as he analyzed the situation before him carefully.

Alpha stayed where he stood and held his hand out at his foe as he was able to cast some Kidō.

"Hadō 32 - Ōkasen" He stated as a Yellow arc of energy that was the Kidō fired out.

He aimed to get the target moving and react after he can notice how this person acts and how he approaches things. His reaction to this attack can also be key to how he continues in this battle that was just beginning. But in the worst case scenario, the attack actually hit and Alpha found himself a injured opponent. There was not many things that could go wrong with his method in his views, but how would this madman actually act towards him in combat was the question. The definition of insanity though was doing the same thing over and expecting a different result. As to say you punch a wall and break your hand, and you try again but expect to break the wall without a single bone cracking.

Everyone knows that just isn't possible even in a world like this one.

Horus's predatory eyes never left the man as he waited for some sort of move too be made. The man seemed to analyze him as he spoke, his words, "Madness is mindset that is not productive. But killing you is definitely productive at this point." Had only seemed too bring forth further laughter from Horus. Oh he knew this foe was stronger than he, and could very-well end his life. But that was no matter, only sating his thirst for blood mattered. Horus's only retort to the words was a simple, "But it has helped thus far.. ahahahaha!

Once again the insane crimson haired Vizard broke into manic laughter. Crazed eyes of a predatory and insane Horus watched as the man lifted his free hand. "Hadō 32 - Ōkasen" The words had barely reached Horus's ears before a yellow arc of energy was fired towards him. Horus's grin threatened to burst his skin as he watched the oncoming energy before vanishing in a burst of natural speed. Angling his run towards the attack and too the side Horus used his momentum too start into a forward roll carrying him out of harms way just as the Hadō passed by.

An explosion ripped forth in the background as the Hadō went off, small and large chunks of earth and ice were sent in all directions. Coming out of his roll Horus was once again assaulted as the debris sailed by him, some large pieces colliding with his back sending him stumbling forth. Regaining his balance Horus eyed his foe, noticing how it seemed he was still being analyzed by his foe. This only served to anger the Vizard.

A snarl broke through the sound of debris falling, Horus stood himself up starring at his foe. Walking towards his foe Horus began too speak, his voice broken by constant cackling, "Murder, rape, torture, madness, acting on impulse... all these things... they have something in common you know? hehehahaha.. I wonder, do you really know?" The maddened Vizards voice broke off into laughter once again as he began to pick up speed.

Bursting into a run Horus rushed his foe, his natural speed carrying him faster than most. Appearing near the man Horus spun, bringing his blades into the spin to cut at the foe multiple times before lashing out with a kick and back-flipping a few feet back. A smirk on his face Horus licked his lips, cackling all the while.

Project Alpha

This Vizard was proving to be quite troublesome as he predicted with all of this madness talk. It was a good thing that Alpha wasn't one too talk much but he listened to the statments made by the lunatic closely. He had successfully dodged his Kidō and went on to notice that he was still being studied by the Ziamachi. He made this statement about how many different crimes, madness, and acting on impulse were all connected. Although he knew the answer to the question logically, he didn't desire to pursue it in thought or respond to it. While madness might pull out any tactic in combat, a person like Alpha stayed with the single strategy throughout until it was pointless to continue. That was just they way that he became, especially after having Key implanted into him, he doesn't believe though, that it came from his past self. In better terms, Alpha possessed the calmness and focus of Key, since he didn't even possess all of the being. All of the other projects beside Delta, also held different pieces of Key, each containing a different attribute of him.

He kept both eyes on the vizard as he approached after getting out of the way of most of his attack from the Kidō. The vizard approached slashing with his blades with great speed, but Alpha was able to keep up with him and blocked each motion of his blade with his own but the final motion with a kick wasn't expected. The vizard was actually successful in kicking his Zanpakutō right out of his hand. This caught Alpha off guard and he was a little worried but if he got attacked while recovering his sword than all was lost. Rather he used his Kidō to his advantage in this situation as well as his hand to hand combat if needed.

"Hadō 58, Tenran." He stated as a torado forced away from him and towards the Vizard that had just recently done a backflip.

"That should keep you busy." He told the Vizard as he shunpo over to his Zanpakutō and picked it back up and put it back his his sheath.

His vision turned back to the vizard and he now walked towards his current location conserving his energy and he was always one to give a good reaction to things, as they said in children stories, slow and steady wins the race. The spirit of madness was the hare and Alpha would be the turtle.

"Why won't you answer!?!" Horus's voice boomed out when his male opponent failed to answer his insanity induced question. The insane Vizard was sure he had been heard, thus grew quite agitated knowing he was essentially ignored. Oh well it mattered not, at least in the bigger picture. Horus's attention snapped back to the fight as he began his assault on his foe. And in mere moments Horus was growing even more frustrated, his foe had flawlessly blocked each of the strikes from his blades. Yet a large smirk split across his face as the kick was thrown out, connecting with his foe.

A chorus of laughter burst out as Horus watched his foes blade sail through the air, landing quite a ways away. His grin and laughter grew when he noted the surprise in his foes eyes before ... 'Was that a moment of worry..' The oddly clear thought rang through Horus's head as he noted the brief concern flickering across his foes eyes. Then the foe spoke, that odd Hadō word again. Though after experiencing the first, Horus didn't plan to simply sit idle while his foe used the Kidō.

As the winds began to whip up infront of his foe Horus heard him call out his spell, attack, whatever it was. "Hadō #58 Tenran!" The winds grew stronger as they formed into a vicious tornado, its winds cutting up the area around it. Zanpakutō still sealed there was little Horus could do aside from evade the attack. But this time Horus went back to his roots, allowing his actions to take priority over planning. The winds grew closer, Horus could now feel them beginning to cut at the area just feet away from him.

Black and crimson tinted reiatsu exploded around Horus, spiking intensely. The plum of reiatsu fought back against the Tenran as wind and reiatsu collided. Inside the plum two changes were occurring, the first was the release of shikai, Horus's voice barely heard over the impact noise, "Spread insanity and murder!Infect the soul! Tamashī no Kyōki! The insane voice of Horus had come out two toned, the second a much deeper more animalistic snarl than anything.

The plum of reiatsu died down along with the Tenran, revealing Horus, his clothes cut up, blood seeping through from the few wounds suffered from the Tenran. In his hands Horus now held a pair of trench-knives that also doubled as brass-knuckles. The fifteen inch blades pointed outward, towards the outer side of his arms. But this was not all that had changed. Upon his face, split by his insane grin, was now a black and crimson mask. Horus's Hollow mask. It resembled an awkward cross between goat and some reptilian creature. The downside of using his mask was that while he could use his powers, he fought hard with Arashi Nikuya to control himself, and his insanity. The added aggression doesn't help much.

None-the-less, the now seething, and much more aggressive Horus stepped forth keeping the same pace his foe did. Meanwhile his mask was still split in a manic grin, eerie to the sight. As he walked three things were happening. The first, Horus's reiatsu was seeping into the ground, dislodging ten large one hundred pound chunks of earth. The next was the build-up of electricity and reiatsu in his blades. And the third was the activation of his Extended Attack Range. Moving in on his foe Horus began his assault, six of the large boulders erupting from the ground heading in at different spacing and timing hoping for the best chance at a hit. The other four Horus would use to maneuver around his foe, darting in and out for simple slashes here and there. Then to finish the assault Horus would drive his blades straight for the foes chest, each offset just enough to make a simple dodge much more complicated. If the hit struck Horus's White Fang ability would rip into the foe, a bolt of lightning ripping through the wound causing minor nerve damage and potential third degree burns.

Horus's movements wouldn't stop after his attacks, as for now he could still manage manuevering the earthen chunks with his Reiatsu TK. Thus his movements remained random and hard to read.

Project Alpha

His Kidō apparently did it's purpose as it kept the insane vizard at bay as he recovered his Zanpakutō, but he didn't expect the vizard's power to be at the level it was as he emerged from the Kidō. He was released and now moving quickly towards him. He really didn't have many options as he tried calculating the situation before him. As he read on with what was going on he saw the large chucks of earth rise from the ground with the vizard's power. His other abilities didn't make the situation better as lightning and the earth were around him at the moment. this would have to be his final use of Kidō for the moment as he needed to release at a time it would be most comfortable.

"The sea and the ocean, lend me your strength! Rise up, and destroy that which opposes the earth! Hadō 53, Mizu no Funshutsu" He stated as water from the very ground that Horus opened flowed up ward in eight strems each powerful like a bullet that could pierce even several layers of steel.

Six of these streams went at the main six rocks shattering them before they could deal serious damage to Alpha, the last two went towards the vizard attempting to pierce him as Alpha danced with the remaining four rocks. It was quite a complicated process at first with his first step already a failure as he got cut on his arm with held his Zanpakutō near his shoulder. He then proceeded to miss his intended spot again as he got cut across the back. This was the moment that he said screw comfortability and drew his Zanpakutō and prepared to release it.

"Synchronize, Emit." He said as his Zanpakutō changed into something unique with strings arcoss the blade on one side.

Alpha put all of his fingers down on the strings and spread them across them all as the sound built up and everything around him or even close would feel a violent blast of sound and air as the speed of sound went and blasted the rocks and probably their controller back away from Alpha. Upon his next move he observed his opponent's posistion and rand his fingers across a single string creating a single bala like attack towards his foe traveling fast with speed. He could only watch and wait for his opponents next move for how to act because he could tell that a single attack or thing could set this person off. He came to realize that this person didn't like to be ignored, so how would they like it when they were treated as being weak.

Could he tell, how much Alpha was holding back with his release, and that there was more to come or would this persona actually have one goal in mind and just attack again?

Horus watched with an insane glee as he begun his assault. For a brief moment the insane Vizard was surprised as water began to flow forth from the very holes he had created in the earth. He hadn't heard what the technique was called, but was amused when the watery tendrils burst through the initial six chunks of earth.

Watching as Alpha began to leap among the remaining four chunks of earth Horus barely noticed the last two tendrils of water close in. Leaning to the right the first one missed completely while the other managed to nick his hip, bruising the area and causing the slightest fracture. The slight pain cause Horus's face to split into a shit eating grin before he burst into a completely insane laughter. The Vizard was about to move in with his electrically charged blades when his foe spoke up.

He watched as Alphas blade become an unique looking instrument, and of course it was bladed. His foe ripped his fingers along the strings. The result was a massive concussive wave of sound being sent out. Just as Horus touched down on the rock nearest Alpha the wave hit, sending both rocks and Vizard sailing through the air. The odd part was the Vizards laughter as he sailed through the air, being pelted by debris from the now destroyed rocks. The wave had caused further bruising to the Vizard, and managed to crack a few ribs. But to such an insane being pain meant little.

Picking himself off the ground Horus was too late in noticing the bala-like attack travelling at high speeds. Immediately upon spotting the incoming attack Horus reacted, quickly utilizing the defensive branch of his RTK, Telekinetic Barrier. The barrier itself hardly formed in-time, causing it to shatter as the attack erupted against it. Looking to his foe Horus saw him simply standing and waiting, something about it began to bother Horus.

Then some logic broke through his current blood-lust, his foe was obviously stronger than him. And if he was, and was still standing around, that meant one thing. He was being toyed with! Anger erupted from Horus, his reiatsu blasting forth as snarls began to escape from behind his mask. Although now further enraged Horus was unsure of how to proceed about things. Surely at this point if he continued his foe may slaughter him.

Logic once again presiding over blood-lust Horus took a relaxed but defensive stance. For a few moments it seemed as if he was fighting an internal battle before he spoke, "Why do you toy with me? What is the purpose behind it? WHY!?" The Vizards voice sounded out, becoming enraged as he finished speaking. As badly as he wished to lash out at his foe, he needed to understand, even if it was pointless.
