”..I haven’t decided yet if i’m broken.. this feeling..what is it.” Animum thought, as she landed in the middle of the barren wastelands. Her feet landing against the ground snow blowing and covering her bare toes with permeable cold white powder. It was a blizzard, white sheets of cascading and impermeable white restricting the line of sight, disrupting her vision, and making her feel claustrophobic , boxed in and alone. However Animum stood still in the midst of the storm, her senses ranging out, given she hadn’t come to this desolate landscape for the lovely view or sight-seeing tour. No, as her golden hair whipped about she was searching for someone, who she had heard about in bits and pieces during her travels on earth after meeting with the likes of Zin, the vizard king in karakura. She was searching for the man who from what rumors she heard, had stopped fighting in the war for australia, and then resigned his post of leadership in the monsuta. A man, who her host knew..and who the memories she had of him had become hazy at best.

Yes, She was looking for Hakai chikara, because she felt that his take on the situation, on her own strange, unidentifiable emotions would ultimately help her understand herself better and more completely. That wasn’t.. entirely though why she was here however. She, still didn’t understand exactly the emotion’s she felt about the planet.. or even why she was bothering with what she originally perceived only as something akin to cannon fodder for her cause of expanding khalaism in this mundane world. ”..This feeling..i still don’t know what.. this world has done to me , but. . . i will find out eventually after i help protect it..” Animum thought as her lips parted and she sucked in breath. As she had been looking for this individual for quite some time. 9 days 6 hours and 23 minutes. Thats how long she had been searching for the nomadic ex leader of the monsuta, following scraps of intelligence that she had come by while she scoured the globe for the elusive man.

She had then after wetting her lips repeated the words that she had repeated .. 120 times in 120 different places around the globe in the past 9 days 6 hours and now 24 minutes and around 30 seconds. Hoping that by some luck she wouldn’t have to repeat it again after that. Her voice coming out crystal clear in the free-blasting frigid chill of the howling wind and numbing snow. The words which would be amplified as she made a megaphone by cupping her hands around her parted lips.

”..HAAAAAAAAAKAAAAAAIIII, are you here? I’ve been looking for you for awhile. i want to talk to you!“

Animum’s words would boom across the landscape as her hands shifted falling to her sides.. and she waited hoping , that this would be the last time, instead of the 121 time in 9 days 6 hours 25 minutes and now 45 seconds of searching.

"Why is it so cold this time of year? I suppose this is what I get for leaving the Australian summers and desert of K-world." The giant man muttered to himself, black hair flowing down his back and body confined within a red cloak and a black undergourmet beneath it. Standing at six feet eight inches tall, Hakai looked down upon many of the beings that wandered through the wasteland, keeping his body sheltered from the bitter cold of the world around him. The wastelands were usually a place one might find to be a place of hostility, a place of pure violence - in fact, Hakai had fought against Zin here before. At this point in time it didn't seem like the case, however. The Nomad had been wandering many places throughout all realms, but mainly situated on Earth. Together with his daughter, they had essentially become nomads, wandering souls looking for a purpose. Admittedly, Hakai knew that the life of a Nomad was not suited to such a little girl, but what other choice did he have? He had made so many enemies of the years that he really did need to keep moving. Despite rekindling his relationship with Zin, Hakai was paranoid. Not for his safety, or the world around him, but for his daughter whom was the offspring of Mizore and himself, the last piece of Mizore that he could hold close to his heart.

They were staying at a small inn just on the outskirts of Karakura for a while, the purpose for Hakai being out in this snow entrenched area was to get some space and perhaps find some way to pay for his rent. He wasn't with the Monsuta anymore, he didn't even have the funds to keep himself afloat in a fancy house like the Yuudeshi might. He was on his own, now. Which he didn't really mind, but it was a pain to look for money all the time. In the end, he half smiled and laughed to himself as these thoughts ran through his head. Just as he did this, a wisp flickered through his ear, like the passing of a breeze, but then in a loud and abrupt explosion. His own name was echoed out throughout the snow, like someone speaking over a mega phone, asking for him to appear and that they wish to speak with him. "Tch, why does everyone come looking for me..."

Within moments, Hakai was shooting around the wasteland, travelling at immense speeds, weaving his way in and out to the source of he voice. The voice wasn't hard to locate - in fact it was designed to be found easily. The white snow gracefully fell from the sky and landed upon Hakai's shoulder as he stood atop of a slight hill elevated my snow. "And what do you want? Nobody wants to talk to me unless they want my head these days. But I must tell you, if that's what you're after, you're going to be rather disappointed. " He hadn't released much reaitsu at this point, none beyond his constant radiance, but one could easily tell just from his voice and structure alone that he wasn't messing around. This wouldn't have been Hakai hundreds of years ago, however. A more youthful Hakai would have vigorously tried to remove their head on requesting to see him. But that wasn't the man he grew to be. The man he changed into was kinder, softer and open to discussion.

He didn't expect his sins to be easily thrown away, nor did he expect others to forgive him for the atrocities he had committed, but what could he expect? Over nine hundred years of him being destructive, titled The Destroyer, someone was bound to try find him and seek something. Even if that something was no longer a part of his being. Perhaps the sins of his past would never leave him, but he wouldn't know until he found out the purpose of this woman finding him. "How do you know my name? Hakai watched her as the snow elegantly fell upon her body, her pasty white skin mixing well with the snow and the bare feet seemingly un-phased by the bitter cold of the ice. His blood red eyes gazed directly at her, not leaving for a second. Until he found out a purpose, he had to assume this was someone coming to hurt him. After all, he was a wanted man by many. Even his friends. Truly, a dead man walking.

”...Your head..? This world .. it disgusts me sometimes., No hakai.. i don’t want your head. “

Animum would say softly, before her body moved forward. Her eyes showing nothing now.. but an anger at the world.. but a simpathy for this man.. who lost so much. She was an agent of despair, so why did this feel.. so sad!?! was it because, this world was one that needed hope to make despair. Yet.. gave the despair to those who didn’t even deserve it!?! She didn’t understand these motley emotions which simmered against her skin like acid.. that made her heart hurt. She would slowly shake her head before she would have shifted she had stopped and she had seen what truly .. was behind the mask. She looked upon hakai.. not seeing a destroyer , not seeing a man who could help her, instead she saw a man.. who needed saving before he could save or help save anything. Her lips parting , seeing all the hurt all the loss. The depth of his sadness.. was one she couldn’t put to the sword, and she couldn’t help but thinking. ”..can i really ask this of him.. he’s given so much he’s lost so much to follow his ideals..How.. could i ask this of him.. no i want to help him he’s no use to anyone.. he’s broken.. i want.. god.. i’m so.. going to get yelled at by sunshine for this. . , im the worst.. bringer of despair ever..”

She would reach her hand out as her lips parted , a look of sadness and .. almost shame on her face. She had to tell this man who he probably knew her as, even though she would have to face the silent judgement the pain and the sorrow, of knowing he probably wouldn’t look at her with anything other than the finest revulsion because of it. However.. he needed to know that he wasn’t on this boat alone, that he didn’t need to run any longer. She for once threw the pretense of hope from her mind, all that was going on in her mind was she didn’t want to see him hurt any longer, to see a man of this caliber brought to the verge of insanity. No man deserved to be broken.. even in despair there was dignity and bliss. This was senseless pain and undeserved pain, a man who followed his convictions , shouldn’t be faulted for looking for the better path. Which was why.. rather than deny it she would be frank with him. yet she thought. ”..He will probably hate me now..”

”How do i know your name?.. Well.. you may find me disgusting.. as many others have.. but my host’s name prior to me devouring her soul.. was none other then Magnolia Clixx, daughter of Claire Clixx, the one.. who seemed to be causing problems for everyone indiscriminately. That girl, she even though she’s gone, i have been living with her memories.. the stigmatism and dislike from many which is ingrained into their minds from her actions, I remembered you from then.. but i came here.. not to kill you, Hakai.. you followed your convictions, your heart. You haven’t done wrong in my eyes, you never turned bitter, and.. your past is your past. The here and now is important. and actually..”

Animum would pause as she shifted moving cautiously like she was dealing with a broken man, rather than if he was hakai chikara. The destroyer was dead in her eyes. this man wasn’t a destroyer anymore. she saw only someone who could save others now. Which was why she would pause and bring her hand forward resting it slowly on the likes of hakai chikara’s shoulder , her expression softening like a mothers love shifting through the anger at her child. She hated the world for turning such a man into an outlaw, he had endured so much and .. she didn’t want him to have to endure it any longer.

”..I am not here for the destroyer , the likes of hakai the destroyer.. died a long time ago when you left the monsuta. I am not here to kill you either, rather.. I want to offer you redemption.. this world every life is precious.. something i originally never thought possible. I saw humans and all beings as just things to corrupt and plunge into despair, However.. somewhere down the line. i changed, Hakai.. i want to help you, i want people not to know you as the destroyer, but as a savior . . . This world has lost enough lives, How many have been lost?.. Even as a messanger of despair, i know hope .. and people are needed. So hakai chikara, i came here because you are needed, the world needs you hakai, however.. the killer you where is the person you will need to leave behind. “

She would pause, as she then would have looked hakai directly in the eyes, her lips parting , her expression serious.. as she thought in her mind dismally. ”..There’s no turning back now”

”..Hakai, i will protect everything that you hold dear at your side, i want to protect lives , i want Hakai chikara the one who understood his wrongs and left.. not the destroyer. I am strong, but i need help, there is war brewing in the middle east, the monsuta is destroying. Hakai.. if you take my hand, i will fight to the death to help you, your enemies will be mine.. redemption is a hard path, but i myself.. and owning up to my predecessors actions.. So.. Hakai Chikara, The Savior . . . Will you join me, will you let me help you..?”

"Then why do you want me here? Nobody even cares about me, so what purpose would you have to come seek me out, if not to kill me?" As Hakai on looked, the woman before him seemed to be shrouded in sadness, the way she spoke was drenched in sorrow and every word suffocated with despair. He didn't exactly know what to expect from her, nor what she'd ask of him here, but he was indeed scared of her intentions. Not because he was incapable of defending himself, but because he had so much left to do; he couldn't abandon his daughter. Never the less, as his eyes scanned over her blonde hair and limbs reaching outwards to him, he simply stood still and let a blank slate drown his face, giving little to know expression of emotion. The way her lips constantly parted and her face was held made it seem like she was hesitant about something, about asking him or telling Hakai why she was here, or what she wanted from him. I think she's got the wrong idea about me...

He didn't know what to do here. All of his life, he had a clear purpose on what to do in situations like this. The previous Hakai would have spilled her blood within second of her talking, because it was a waste. The current Hakai, however, wanted to listen. It seemed that there was something of an offer. Hakai didn't know the woman before him, so he didn't know how to approach her, so he simply sat and waited. In the back of his mind, however, it did feel like this was a familiar person. He couldn't put his finger on it. At the same time, he had met too many people in his life to remember every single one of them, it would be foolish to think he could remember someone straight away, no matter how familiar they felt. Her words spoke of how she knew Hakai, and at that moment, his eyes slightly widened and then clenched closer shut, but he did not move his body. He still stood there with his right fist clenched shut within that golden gauntlet. Hakai and "Magnolia" had come across each other's path before, and this was the woman whom had devoured that same Magnolia? It was no wonder she felt so familiar to Hakai.

"So back to my original point, you're here for what purpose? I only met Magnolia Clixx once. And now you claim to know so much about my past, my mental state and my deeds. Don't assume so much about me, you don't know a single thing about me." Closing his eyes, he breathed out slowly and let out a huff of white vapor from the mixture of warm and cold air. Hakai personally didn't know how to feel whilst facing down this woman before him, but it seemed she truly wasn't here for his death. It was only fair that he shut up and listened to her request. He did, however, disagree with some of what she had to say. His past didn't matter? He hadn't done wrong? That was all incorrect, in the eyes of Hakai. He had done many wrongs, so many wrongs that a simple apology or a good deed could not rid himself of such things. He wasn't so much focused upon making amends to the ones he wronged, but rather amends with himself. He had a variety of problems within his psyche, he grew to become quite depressed and driven to self-exile from the Monsuta. There was one main inconsistency in what this woman seemed to think, however. And that was that he was suffering beyond uncontrollable standards.

Her words were true, The Destroyer died during the Australian war, perhaps even earlier than that. He had suffered with what path he should take during those times leading up to that war, he had struggled to decide if he should stay within the Monsuta or move on in his life. In the end, his confrontation with Zin drove him to the point of breaking down, and through talking and comfort, was born anew as a man that was no longer driven by his hatred. A look of disgust then dawned upon The Vizard King's face now, as his brow lowered and he spat out a wad of saliva. You really know nothing about me. Just like Magnolia knew nothing back then, this being standing before me knows nothing. Whatever redemption you can offer me doesn't matter, I don't need it. You're right on one behalf, though. I'm not The Destroyer anymore. That part of me is dead and gone. However you are mistaken. I don't want redemption. I don't care if this world still views me as a heretic. My past is just that, the past. Why would I help you save people? People don't need saving, they need to figure that out themselves. " This wasn't exactly what Hakai felt, as he would help someone if he came across them, but he wouldn't go out of his way to do a good deed. He didn't seek redemption from the world. What this woman didn't understand was that he seeked was inner peace, and that wasn't something she or anyone else could offer him.

"I think you're misunderstanding me. I don't need protection, nor do the things I hold dear. What you offer me is another alliance, an alliance in which I rid myself of. I don't have enemies anymore. I don't have friends. I have family, both blood and bond. There is nothing you can offer me that would make me follow you, or join you in the plight of helping others. There is a reason I chose this pilgrimage, and joining forces into an alliance is not fitting in with that agenda. There are no enemies, there are no friends, there are no strangers. All there is, is myself and my family." Hakai spoke deeply, his voice akin to the depth of a lions roar. He wasn't yelling, but rather speaking calmly his intentions. This woman thought she knew what was best for Hakai, yet she was gravely mistaken. "The world is full of paragons trying to do right, I'm not trying to do right or be a saviour. I'm just trying to live. "

”..I can’t believe it, hakai chikara is . . . spineless.” Animum listened to hakai’s pathetic speech, listened calmly at first. However she shook her head some and walked forward, bringing her hand firmly across hakai chikara’s cheek. Her expression unreadable and her lips parting before she felt.. something , was this a parental anger at hakai for forgetting the most crucial thing in his life? She.. didn’t know how to explain it to him, so? Instead of giving another grand speech, she settled with the stinging sensation in her palm while her eyes slightly pricked with tears. Seeing as, she knew how it was to live in someone else’s shadow. ”..Idiot, he’s forgetting the number one rule of parenting. How could he forget that?” Animum then took a deep breath and calmed herself down, her words coming out leveled, but also colored with controlled anger and a sense of disbelief. Her words naturally biting as she spoke her peace.

”..So you don’t care that your daughter will be judged on your actions? The world is not a idealistic place. It is a cruel place where children are judged based on their parents actions. I myself don’t know. . but i know how it is to live in someone’s shadow. The shadow of someone who did immense wrong, and then just took the easy way out. And i’m going to be honest, it fucking sucks, and yet you talk about how much you want to be with your daughter, can’t you see that if you fixed your rep that your daughter wouldn’t have to fix it for you. Your children are the things that will be here when you are gone. Is this the kind of shadow you want to leave for her? A shadow of destruction and of cowardice?”

Animum asked with sincere curiousity, her arms crossed across her bust. Her gaze like steel, she had given him sympathy, she had been understanding, now she was annoyed that he forgot the number one parental instinct. She infact felt that she wanted to hit him so, so bad, so bad that she was actively keeping herself in check, she didn’t want to kill him still, however she did feel the bad urge to beat some common sense back into this spineless wimp of a man. ”..For someone who apparently knows nothing about him, why is it he’s the one who’s being selfish.” She thought as she would have paused and deliberated just what she wanted to say to this man, she deliberated just what she needed to say to explain the sheer level of wrong in his actions, but she.. was amiss for once.

She would have looked up and merely taken a deep breath and said in a calm voice which still held her sincere opinion.

”..Do you want whats best for you, or do you want to fix things for your daughters sake? I’m not the one who know’s nothing about someone, you as you are, aren’t even hakai, you are a man who is drunk on his own sorrows, seeking internal peace and forcing his daughter to be branded a fugitive. You may be fine with it, she may be fine with it. but eventually she will want to rejoin society, do you know how hard it is to throw off your parents mistakes? I can’t believe you .. you may be right, i came here looking for a man of integrity and conviction, instead? I’m not finding hakai, im finding an empty saddened and self pitying selfish shell. So maybe you’re right, maybe i don’t know you. “

The moment she opened her mouth, Hakai's face changed from an in different, emotionless aura to a straight up serious and frowning brow. The air around him would suddenly feel all the much colder as his golden gauntlet was clenched tighter and tighter. "...Don't you dare fucking lecture me about my parenting, or about my daughter." Her sad and sorrowful face seemingly turned, as she listened to his words. However, Hakai didn't care right now. Who did she think she was? Hakai knew exactly what his past was. He knew exactly what that meant for his daughter. But in the end, within his mind, there would always be someone out there looking to do him wrong. It wasn't a matter of being selfish, rather, it was an act of him trying to see things realistically. And the fact of the matter was, no matter how much Hakai "redeemed" himself, there was no changing that someone out there would always want him dead. His daughter didn't actually use his last name, let alone many know she existed. It was a wonder how this woman knew that she existed. Yet even if she knew of her existence, she knew nothing of their situation.

Tilting his head to the side with a rather irritated look upon his face, Hakai let out wave of air before returning to eye contact with Animum. "You know, you're right. Parents leave behind a legacy that the children too often take on. My past deeds can never be erased, over nine hundred years of this cannot be undone with a few good deeds, my wrongs cannot be rewritten. You may call it cowardice, but you are wrong. It's something beyond cowardice. You know nothing of parenting. Everything I have ever done since her birth has been for her. She is the only thing that remains of Mizore... And that's worth protecting. Whatever you offer, whatever you're trying to give to me I have no interest in. Your guilt tripping is in vain. Hakai did think about her words though, she did make him question whether it was the path he should take. But what could fix that? Nothing could redeem him, no matter how many children he pulled out of burning houses, no matter how many cities he saved... it would never equate to what he destroyed. He didn't gain the nick-name The Destroyer for nothing. So even as the woman crossed her arms, he thoughts, but hadn't shifted. He began walking around the woman, the snow embedding into his black boots as he once again pulled the red cape to cover his mouth.

She came all the way out here to... ask this of him? To give him a lecture about his daughter? Hakai thought she had to be kidding. The Vizard King looked up as his circling in the snow came to a halt. All was silent and only the whip of a freezing cold tundra surrounded them; it was dark, yet the moon shown bright enough to be visible. The Vizard's vision fell upon the sky, and as he gazed up into it's glory, he smiled softly and let out another huff of white vapor. "... It's beautiful, isn't it? The stars, I mean. I could stare at them for hours any have it only feel like minutes have passed." His head remained tilted upwards, eyes pinned to the night sky, no lights surrounding them, the only light being brought down from the moon and stars themselves. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm looking up at the stars, and there's someone else looking straight back at me. That maybe I'm just another small spot of light to them." His smile grew slightly bigger as a tear fell into his eye, slowly wiped away with his left hand. Slowly, his vision dropped down from the sky and returned to her gaze, looking her straight in the eyes and pulled the red-scarf like cloak to reveal his mouth. "Looking at those stars make me remember how small we are, and I find that comforting. You came searching for the wrong Hakai, then. I'm far from a self-pitying shell of a man, I'm just trying to live in peace without people like you coming to find me. Is that so much to task? Apparently it is."

The smile was wiped from his face now, as he pulled the red cloak above his mouth again, the wind blowing his cloak and hair with the breeze rather elegantly, small flakes of snow falling upon his shoulders. "I just want to live in peace, I just want to find myself. If you deem that as selfish, I do not care. The Hakai whom was consumed by sorrow died along with the Destroyer, Zin Yuudeshi helped me rid of that. Thought I still struggle with momentary lapses, that is not at my core. I am simply... more at peace. I am not drowned in sorrow and I refuse to let that define me." Placing both hands in ether pocket, Hakai looked around for a moment before finally sighing. He didn't know why he had to explain himself to Animum, he didn't care enough. The problem was is he couldn't afford to have someone continuously tracking him down, he needed to lay it out flat. In the end, all of this wasn't for him. Everything he had done was to help his daughter and give him peace of mind. So far, he was still searching for the latter.

"I've dealt with your kind before, and I'm not convinced you've changed by simply a name and appearance change. If you truly want what's right for me, then leave me alone. Perhaps you could do with a reminder of how small and insignificant of a being we both are." Closing his eyes, he crossed his arms and awaited her response. It did seem, however, Hakai had a lot to think about over the coming weeks and months - whether he wanted to or not. There was a storm brewing, and not everyone could hide from it. Not even the nomad and his daughter.

”I will lecture you, but i will not fault you for your path. I may have overstepped my bounds, but if you think i haven’t changed, you may be right. But atleast im trying. I’m trying to fix the mistakes that idiot made, i don’t care how small a being i am, i will change this world and do my best to protect it. Hakai , you think you can tell me what to do, when you yourself are building your nomadic tendancies on some sad self-fufilling prophecy?”

Animum would have smiled slowly, at his words.. the silent threat in them, as she shook her head slowly. Her lips parting as she let out a phantom exhalation, which was a sign of her growing exasperation. Leveling her eyes on hakai she did seriously consider what he was saying, his motive. His goals and his reasons, they weren’t something which could be taken lightly. He had chosen a difficult road, and she could commend him for it if nothing else. However, he was forgetting things, very important things which nearly brought her perceptions on the man back to a blatant moot point. Her voice coming out as she had said slowly clearly, so calmly that her very essence and that verbal steel of her honesty was put out on display for hakai. Making sure he didn’t miss even a single word.

”..Get over yourself, She’s all that you have left of mizore? Is that what your daughter is to you, a lingering memory of your deceased wife? What if you adopted her, if she wasn’t this “Mizore” persons child? Would you still protect her? I’m not challenging your parenting, but the state of your ideals which have become seriously distorted by you trying to walk this perilous tight-rope.

Then she thought about how he looked at the stars, speaking about how they too just where insignificant in this galaxy no this universe. The way he spoke, she could understand it being that there was always something bigger out there. Something better, something stronger, even those who grasped the cusp of eternal life, or rose to the top, would eventually find something that made them look like ants crawling around in the sand. This was life, and the cruel fact of reality. True strength, what did that word even mean? ”.I can’t fault him, as much as i hate his ideals, they are valid points.” She’d think as she had then remaining in her crossed arms and firm standing position deliberated, and then raised her hand slowly. Beckoning him forth with a look of tired exhasperation.

”If you want to teach me how small i am, then go ahead. However there’s a reason i will not leave you alone. If you resort to violence, then so be it. This isn’t about saving the world quite anymore, if this is your choice, i will watch to see how it turns out. Although, i will say this, do you think that people out there give a damn about your choices? Because, while i may be small, im fixing my mistakes, While i only see you running from yours. The monsuta was your creation, yet you shirk any ownership or responsibility over your creations destruction. Get real, i will not let a man who’s conviction and ideals are faultering and second rate at the moment, at the very best, tell me what i can’t say, or what i can’t do. The real question is however, what are you going to do about it?

Animum would ask as she arched her eyebrows some, looking down at him and shaking her head some[

”Well? Hakai?”

"You may have overstepped your bounds? You don't understand anything. The bounds you apparently overstepped never existed, 'cause in the end your judgement never mattered. I am not wishing to control your actions, nor tell you what to do - I simply wish for you to leave."

Hakai wasn't interested in diplomacy, and he didn't understand her exact purpose for even being here. She wanted to align with him? She wanted him to join her in a cause to change the world... yet all she was doing was throwing out insults about his lifestyle and that he was selfish and self centred. Originally, he thought maybe she had good intentions, but just like most things, Hakai thought, it proved to be false and there were no good intentions. Perhaps she was trying to guide him down a different path, a path in which he had walked before, and one he wasn't interested n walking down again. He had seen the path of so called "righteous" and people hell bent on fixing their reputation went, he wasn't caring of that life. It was similar to the path of destruction, to Hakai.

He had walked the path of destruction, he had also walked down the path of redemption. It wasn't something that Hakai cared about. In the end it held similar destinations, either ones doom, or internal destruction. Right now, the Vizard King was on an alternative path, or at least the path he had set his eyes on was different. Perhaps... Perhaps this path he travelled didn't need to end in his own destruction. The man he grew to be was different than the world perceived it, and nobody, not Zin or even his daughter, could see inside his mind to get the full grasp of what he felt. Everything he did recently was for his daughter, so as he listened to her words, he was filled with a burning sensation that travelled up from his feet to his head. How... dare she say such a thing. She didn't know anything, and she had the audacity to question that was the only reason he loved and looked after her? That sickened him, to his very core.

"Do not speak of her, or the way in which I love my daughter. There is no shame in cherishing old memories through family. But don't you think, for one... fucking... second... that is the only reason I am looking after my daughter. Stop making assumptions in which you know nothing of, you're walking a dangerous path." It didn't matter the way in which she came into Hakai's life, it didn't matter if she was spawned from the womb of the demon Goddess herself. What mattered was, it was Hakai's daughter. And everything he had ever done was for her. Not in the memory of Mizore, she was dead, Hakai had accepted that.

"Mizore is dead, and if you seriously think I'm holding onto that memory through my daughter, you're dead wrong. If all you came here for was to make assumptions, go away. Everything you've said within the past few minutes has solidified my position, I do not wish to help your cause. Like I'd join on with someone who was so tightly wound with bringing despair, either." His head returned to the stars for a moment, however the smile didn't follow. Hakai looked at them, and he didn't think he was small anymore. If there was anything this conversation brought him, it was clarity of his own thoughts. A moment ago he thought about how small they were, but that perhaps wasn't true at all. He looked at them now and thought there were bigger things. Not that he was a small chest piece in the grand scheme of life, not that he was insignificant to the way of the world, but rather there were more important things than the endeavours of a man trying to find himself and look after his daughter. If this truly wasn't about "saving the world" or "doing right", then why was she hear? Trying to help him in his path? He didn't wish for help, he didn't require help. Essentially, he didn't care.

"I do not wish to use violence, nor teach you that you're small. What I do hope to do is make you realise is that I know people do not care about my choices. What you have tried to do here, however, apparently is different. If nobody cares about my choices, the they do not care about yours either - just like I do not care." He sighed and looked down from the stars yet again, drawing his gaze to her pale while flesh. "It's not as if I don't realise what the Monsuta is. I created it, and it was my responsibility. Was. It was something I started, and if the time is ever right, it will be something I end. However, right now, I do not intend to involve myself in their affairs. The Monsuta had grown beyond simply me. I cannot take responsibility for anything they do now. I recognise my failures within them, but what they do now isn't mine to handle. " Perhaps this was inappropriate and unfair of him, to build up something bad and allow it to exist. Even if he did try to stop it, it would only endanger his daughter even more - something he couldn't have.

"I'm not interested in anything more you have to say. This is a massive circle jerk and I won't have any part of it. " Sighing to himself, he turned his back to the woman, and began to walk off. Many thoughts ran through his head as a result of this, but he had to return to his daughter. If he had just made an enemy out of her, so be it, but he wouldn't be dragged into her war, her plights or situations because she was wished him to join. She seeked him out on his own accord, if she wasn't prepared for rejection, then she hadn't come to him with a solid argument in the first place.

”..Why does this mans words hurt so much.. why do they bite. . . So deep.” Animum thought as she shifted a lone tear shifting down her face as she did something she had only done one time before. She would shift and dogeza, hoping hakai would understand just how much it took for her to come to this point, her eyes beginning to brim over. He made the one point that she hurt the most inside from, she didn’t hate her faith, but she felt people wholly misunderstood her purpose in it, and every time someone did that.. every time they called her a monster, made accusations they couldn’t back up. It hurt, but right now she was merely tired, so it might be something small like a change in her voice, or something about the way her eyes would slant, showing a deep sense of tiredness. she wouldn’t care the man had been walking away and sure she may get burned to a crisp for it, but she would stand up walking after the mans retreating form. Animum had done many stupid things in her life, but what she was doing now probably would end up taking the cake.

Because in that moment she had curled her arms around the destroyers shoulders pulling him into a hug as she couldn’t help but think about what he said, she didn’t shrug it off because the fact was this was reality, she had said she was hell bent on redemption but was that it? Was she really any better than the one she was freed from. As these mixed emotions slid silently through her mind, she’d squeeze a bit, her lips parting partially as this one section action passed and she’d say in a tone which wasn’t angry.. sad. or challenging, it was merely.. empty. As if someone was being stretched too thin trying to climb a hill that would never end. There wasn’t sadness in it, because the words hakai had said , they indeed couldn’t be any more true then they actually had been. Saving this, redeeming that, she could spout those words till the end of time, but if she didn’t get off her high horse here.. she wouldn’t be able to learn to evolve.. to become a better person. So she’d say in a voice which reflected just.. how much those words had hurt her.. or rather how much they had made her drop the mask.

”..You’re ultimately right hakai. i’m tied with despair , all my life all my host’s life it has been tied to the darkness that lays in the souls of others; when magnolia was alive, i was forced into a darkness which could only be called true despair. But . . . i cannot ask you to save the world, i tried to rouse your fighting spirit.. saying things that would hurt you. Calling out what you cherish, so your probably right, I am tied to despair closer than anyone else on this planet..probably. However..you know?.. “

Animum would have slowly begun to release the one known as hakai, before she would have looked up at the sky, her lips parting as she exhaled.. an odd sense of possibly a weight being lifted. She had asked so much of a man who was just getting back on his feet. She had tried to evoke that monster inside of him to see if it truly would awaken, but it seemed this man.. just had changed had become something that wasn’t dangerous.. not inherently at least. So she had looked upwards and she would have taken a real hard look into herself at least for the time being, before she would have mulled over what she wanted to say. How she wanted to say it, she had been wrong and even if she wanted to be almighty and ignore those mistakes, she was ultimately the one who would have to face these shortcomings in the long run. It was interesting, this destroyer didn’t destroy, he owned up for his actions but instead of doggedly trying to fix them, he forged his own path.

She could understand just a little bit now, and she could slowly begin to understand probably just what went through mizore’s mind. This man was genuine , he got mad, but he seemed to be able to keep his actions on a civil path even if that wasn’t what he’d intended at first. Which was why as she slowly let her breath out, she looked back at the stars and thought back , a small smile on her face. As she said her next words. after all, she’d think to herself. ”..Crap.. i’ve been utterly defeated here , he’s really something “ And she smiled softly before saying in that tired voice of hers.

”..I’m trying because i feel that i can overcome it. It’s not because its my job, or because my pride tells me so. Despair isn’t something that is made to drag people down, it’s something that builds character, and lets people truly grow into who they want to be. I’m sorry about your wife, but i think i understand abit now.. It’s not really that hard to see.. after all.. family is the most precious thing one can have. through the fire and into the inferno, for better and for worse.. family seems to stick together. Atleast, so im told… But.. really.. i think i understand.. alittle bit now.”

Animum slowly had looked up at the moon as she smiled alittle to herself, and whispered in a tone that hopefully no one but herself really would be able to hear. Given she didn’t want something that embarrassing to be heard by others. It was something that she said and only she should really be able to hear. ”..I understand.. why mizore loved you “ She’d mumble before she would have looked up and she would think slightly, wondering if this feeling she had was something good.. bad or just something compelling her to do something very stupid. Emotions always had been her weak point, and she didn’t understand much about them yet, but she felt.. maybe.. just maybe ..

that it might not be so bad after all.. accepting humanity that is..
