Shirasu is a curious being, always wondering about things. What makes this man tick, how does this thing work, where did this thing come from. His curiousity often leaves him unaring to who, or what he hurts in his never ending quest to answer the three big questions. Why, how, and what for. This does not mean he is withot feelings however. Once his curiousity about an object is sated he can be quite a curious, charming man with a surprising amount of mercy. He has dozens of pets that he is no longer curious about, and he defends his pets, the things he is so knowledgeable about, fiercely. He is also a bit of a goofball, often losing focus on things to focus on something else, and acting and speaking in odd, amusing ways. He often plays the part of the idiot or patsy, pretending to be a harmless, hopeless loser. He rarely reveals the true, cunning, powerful self, often allowing others to think he is a harmless dunce, until he can strike back properly at the best moment.....
Shirasu spends much of his time working alone in his own private quarters. He enjoys the quiet life, of reading, experimenting, and day dreaming, and he rarely entertains guests. His nature makes him very untrusting of others and even his own espada had no easy time earning his trust. Now that she has it though, he welcomes her into his lab and quarters whenever she wishes and often puts forth his best to entertain her.
His shyness and standoffishness is a product of his human and hollow life, lives that were spent constantly hiding, running, and fearing absolutly everything. Now he no longer has to worry, but is still very hard to get close to, like a dog that has been beaten to often. However, if one were to get through this shell of his, they would find a true friend and honorable man. He will still do his best to hide his true power however, not particularly pleased with the idea of more responsibilities being pressed onto him simply because of his power, and thus he hides his power even from his closest friends and allies, only showng it when he wishes to absolutly destroy someone, or save them.Likes:
Shirasu loves to try new things, new foods, drinks, fights, all of it. Its all a matter of learning, and he is a slave to his unending curiousity.
Shirasu has an odd fascination with small, furry animals, and has several of them in his private quarters and lab. Most of them are not quite so fuzzy anymore due to experiments.
Shirasu has a strong mind and a vivid imagination, and will often lay in his bed or his personal chair, coming up with new stuff, spells, experiments, everything.Fears:
Shirasu suffers from Haphephobia, the fear of being touched. Very few people can touch him without him freaking out completely and trying to blast them, Tara, the primera espada, being one of the very few.
Hydrophobia. Shirasu suffers from an irrational fear of water as well. A glass, bathtub, stuff like that is fine. Anything deeper, even a pool, causes him to freak out and start throwing spells.
Coulrophobia,the fear of clowns. Shirasu is uncertain of why he fears clowns, but he is absolutly terrified by them.

Fighting StyleGeneral Fighting Style:
Shirasu is an absolutly horrid fighter, who relies mostly on his keen intellect, sharp instincts, vast amounts of rieatsu, and surprising array of Kidō like abilities for combat.Strengths:
His pesquisa is surprisingly good, and his reserves of spiritual energy are very impressive, allowing him to expend alot of energy before finally stopping. On top of that, his keen intellect and wit allow him to think far ahead into the battle and plan out whch 'spells' to use next.Weaknesses:
Shirasu has absolutly ero hierro. His skin breaks as easily as a humans. He also is drastically lacking in melee combat, barely able to defend himself. He is also very slow, able to use sonido rarely.

Shirasu can use Bala, Cero, and several other custom abilities he has created specifically for himself.
Spells: To make up for his lack of combat expertise, Shirasu employs many spells, much like Kidō. This is the list of available spells in sealed form.
Gag spell: This is a spell with absolutly zero, NONE AT ALL, combat use. It is a series of gag spells, designed to be entertaining. Like make squeaky shoes, small rainbows in his hands, blasts of confetti, never used in combat.
Power seal: In order to hide his true power, Shirasu created a spell to hide it. It holds his power in check, hiding it from all, until such time he wishes to reveal it. The seal remains in place even in ressurecion and segund, supressing hald his power. It is shown by a small red x on his left arm, and is broken by pressing it and then turning his finger on it. Once done, his full power is released.
#1 Magnum: Shirasu fires small blasts of rieatsu from his finger tips, equal in strength to Hadō #4. No cooldown

#8 Snakes coil: Creates a rope of red energy that wraps around the opponent, entangling legs and arms, equal in strength to bakudo #4 no post cd
#9 Vipers bite: Creates a coil of red energy around Shirasu's forearm that lunges out at opponents within five feet of him, in a slashing attack, is equal in strength to Hadō/bakudo #20. It is a reactive bakudo sort of technique that reacts whenever a hostile force gets to close by lunging out with an attack similar to Hadō #20 lasts for three turns. 1 post cd
#10 Windstep: This move was created in response to his pathetic sonido. By using this spell, Shirasu is capable, for one turn, to move at faster than sonido speeds. Only lasts for one turn however and has a 2 post cd.
#11 Thunder cloak: Creates a field of electrical energy in a twenty foot circle around him, equal in strength to Hadō/bakudo #50 1 post cd, one post duration. He must be in one spot to use it, as he is the focal point of the spell. He is immune to the attack, and anyone who enters the twenty foot radius is subjected to painful electrocution, however it does not block ranged attacks
#12 Cant touch this: Sends out a shockwave of concussive power in a ten foot circle around him, equal in strength to Hadō/bakudo #40 1 post cd
#13 Magnum Hammer: Creates a powerful beam of red energy that appears over the target and fires down with incredible force, equal in strength to Hadō #80 3 post cd
#15 Hellstorm: Creates an illusion of flames and demons around the target, disorienting and confusing them. In sealed it is simply a visual illusion, created around them and seen by all. In ress, the illusion puts off fake heat. In full segunda the illusion is complete by putting off sound and even smell.
#16 Hellstrike: Used in conjunction with Hellstorm, sends a lance of real flame at the target, equal in strength to bakudo #10 no cd. In segunda, with the full illusion, it is very difficult to dodge.
#17 Bondage: Creates red shackles that ltch on to the targets ankles and wrists and draw them all together 2 post cd lasts two turns, requires target approval
#18 Gravitational Distortion: Creates a fifty foot circle of gravitationl distortions. In some places, the gravity is much heavier, in others, much lighter. In a ten foot radius around him, gravity is normal though. Those caught in the field determine wether they are in a heavy or light field. Last for two posts with a two post cd
#19 Blackhole: Creates a small blackhole for one turn that draws all rieatsu based attacks into it, and dispells them, even spells that create fire, electricity, summoned spears. It can even draw in physical attacks and people, however THAT requires target approval as it would cause severe damage, equal to a forbidden Hadō, if not death and will not be used without beforehand apprval and planning. The spell only lasts for a few brief seconds and has a 5 post cd. This spell is capable of stopping any attack.
#20 Mind Link: Allows him to link his mind to an infinite number of willing participants, lasts as long as he is able to maintain it. no cd. Linked individuals can communicate with ease, share thougts, images, smells, and sounds. However, due to his natural fears he will only link with a handful of people.
#21 Overload: Launches a mental assault on the target, causing a loss of focus. This is a mental assault, initiated by a locking of the eyes. Once began, it sends hundreds of dizzying images, smells, and sounds at the target. While it can be reversed back on Shirasu, it would take someone with alot of mental fortitude and training to do so. 3 post cd
#22 Summon swords: Summons three, glowing, magical swords that dance around him defensivly, and attack anyone who comes within fifteen feet of him. Lasts for three turns with three turn cd. The swords attack on their own with his own level of skill, which isnt much, but three swords, even weilded by an amateur, can be distractig enough when someone is throwing spells at you.

Description: Shirasu throws his hands into the air, creating a fine, glittery substance. The powder works alot like Gaara's sand, usually responding before he does. Usually it just floats around in the air, but can solidy into a small metal shield, or blade, to work as both a defensive and offensive weapon. Useful for stopping zanpaktou or slashng those who get to close, twenty feet is the range, not much good for any Kidō like abilities over 20.

Description:Shirasu forms a blade of focused electricity in the palm of his hand, equal in strength to a Hadō number 50, it is a close range weapon, but if it strikes a zanpaktou or shield or armor, anything conductive, it sends a powerful jolt of electricity through the item.
Cooldown/Duration:CD of 2 posts, duration of two.
Description:Creates a number of large shuriken, made of wind, that circle around Shirasu. The shuriken are about a foot long and are made of poweful, focused wind currents (think Naruto's rasen shuriken). They are equal to a number 60 Kidō. In sealed form he gets two of them, in ress he get 3, and in segunda he gets 4. They have a range of fifteen feet and move at double cero speed, are capable of stopping zanpaktou, and can be set off at shirasu's will, causing a powerful blast of air at the target, also on par with a level 60 Kidō.

Description: Shirasu creates focused orbs of heat in both hands before thrusting them towards the target, unleashing a bolt of fire. It has a range of thirty feet, is about a foot around, and hits with both concussive and burning power, each orb is equal to a lvl 30 Hadō

The barrier cant stop anything, but when ever it is broken Shirasu immediatly knows when it is broken and coats the one or thing that broke it in an unsensable layer of spiritual particles that are attuned directly to SHirasu's own, allowing him to track the target perfetly.

Description:Used right after Tortoise Shell, Shirasu thrusts both hands out to his sides. Tortoise shell suddenly breaks down into fifty, long, thin, sharp, shards of rieatsu that are sent flying in each direction for fifty feet with each one having a power of a Hadō number 20

Description:Garanzo summons fifty flaming meteors that come hurtling down from out of the sky. Each one is equivalent to getting hit by a cero, but they fall in a very erratic, uncontrolled pattern.

Description:Five black chains erupt from out of the ground with heavy shackles on the ends, aiming for the targets neck, ankles, and wrists. In order to use this technique it requires target ooc go ahead! Once secured, the chains drag the target down to their hands and knees and holds them there.

Description: Shirasu thrusts both hands up, and then out to the side, createing a powerful, 100 ft wide, completely circular barrier. This barrier is part of his final, most powerful spell, and is capable of withstanding up to three gran rey cero before being broken. Shirasu then brings his hands together into a clap, igniting a purple flame around his flames before he brings them to his chest. And then blows up. Shirasu basicly explodes, expelling all of his rieatsu from his body in one extremly powerful blast that shatters his own barrier, but also finishes him, leaveing him completely drained of rieatsu an unable to fight anymore, hardly even able to stand.
Cooldown/Duration:Final spell, cant fight anymore after using it.
Description:causes a gout of flame to erupt out of the ground from beneath the target, on par with Hadō number 15
Description:Creates a ball of black energy that Shirasu hurls at the target before it suddenly explodes, claymore style, sending one hundred, black pellets, each on par with a Hadō #4, flying in any direction Shirasu wants. The ball can also be hidden, the blast being postponed, until Shirasu wants it to go off

Description:Shirasu creates a twenty foot cloud of acidic, purple mist. The mist is acid that remains in the air and burns anything that passes through. Requires Shirasu to remain in one spot to use, has a three foot radius around him that is mist free.

Description:Creates a thirty foot ring around him of fire. There is a five foot circle around Shirasu free of fire and thats it.

Description: Shirasu fires a beam from his glowing red eye, equal in power to a cero, but dangerously different. The beam has the ability to disrupt other Kidō like abilities of equal or lesser strength.

Name: Shield Shatter
Description: Shirasu creates a s,all, red and yelloww, flashing star like obejct in his hand which he launches at the target. The spell is slow moving and pretty harmless, unless it encounters a barrier. No barier can stop it, and the more powerful the barrier it passes through, the more powerful the resulting attack.

Shirasu gains even more rieatsu reserves, takes 25% less damage from all Kidō. In this form he also gains five, six inch wide, bone shuriken that circle about him, attacking anyone who gets within 15 feet of him. They are as strong as a zanpaktou, so not easy to break, but they can be deflected. They move as fast a swinging sword.Boosts:
Shirasu's energy reserves double from thatof his sealed form, and his speed also increases. In this form, all of his spells cooldowns are also reduced by one turn.

Shirasu now has an absolutly vast amount of energy, 50% resistance to all rieatsu based attacks. He can now absorb rieatsu from both rieatsu based attacks, able to completely abosrb rieatsu based attacks equal nto a Hadō (or bakudou) of 40 or below. He is also able to absorb leaked rieatsu, like a quincy, adding to his own reserves, giving him an almost endless supply of energy. All cd's are now also reduced by one more turn.Boosts:
In Segunda, Shirasu now has 10, six inch wde, bone shuriken that float around in a circle around him, attacking anyone who comes within twenty feet of him at the same speed as a swinging sword. In this form, he also finally gains a noticeable heirro, able to withstand the sealed zanpaktou of those one tier above him, or a bankai form of those two below.
Spells gained in this form. These are spells that, in any lesser form, he simply doesnt have the power for.
Soul forged: Allows him to call on rieatsu from around the area, much like a quincy. However, his captured rieatsu takes on a much more physical form, in the form of glowing plates hovering just over hs body, and a long, red spear, as well as a full recharge of energy fr the duration of the spell. The plates are able to withstand a gran rey cero, but only one, a second will punch through, and the spear is as powerful as a Hadō number 75. Duration of 5 turns. 6 post cd and fatigue state after use
Thunder Spire: Creates a spear of electricity in his palm that he hurls at the opponent. The spear can peirce many defenses. 5 post cd
Universal pull: Grabs a target and yanks them towards Shirasu with incredible power, very hard to resist. Requires target consent though. 5 post cd

In this form, he can also use higher powered spells without the same amount of fatigue due to his great amount of rieatsu. He is now able to cast three high level spells without fatigue. He can not use soul forged without fatigue however!!!!
Shirasu remembers little of his human life, a fact that he is most glad for. What little he does recall is filled with bitterness and hatred, the same emotions that led him to the life of a hollow. Shirasu grew up an orphan, abandoned by a family unable to feed him. He was raised and taught by various beggars, vagabonds, and urchins, ad given the instruction and tools to survive in a world that hated and rejected him simply because of where he lived. Starting at a very young age, Shirasu was moved from orphanage to orphanage, or prison to prison, depending on his current list of misdeeds. Where ever he went though, he always felt alone, seeking solace in the only ones he could, the two small mice he kept with him always.
Shirasu got lucky however. At the age of thirteen, he made the mistake of pickpocketing a minor stage magician, one who caught the young man red handed. But instead of turning the boy in, the old magician saw an opportunity. Here was a man, full of life, and obviously skilled in slight of hand, handed to the old man on a silver platter. And so a deal was struck. The old magician would not turn Shirasu in to the authorities, would in fact give him a home! in return, Shirasu would learn the old mans tricks, and carry on the buisness when he was gone, a deal that sat well with both parties.
Shirasu performed rather well as the magicians apprentice as well! His natural skill at slight of hand proved to be a true boon in his new line of work, and the magician grew proud of the boys progress. However, it unfortunatly was not meant to be.
Four years after Shirasu had gone to live with the old man, a new entity entered the area. The Yakuza, or at least, the early makings of it. The group was vicious, extorting money or other favors from the locals, and severely punishing those who either could not, or would not, pay up. Shirasu and the old man refused.
It was made to look like an accident. A magic trick gone wrong, so the authorities would believe. After all, the foolish old man did love his fireworks. One night, the gang burned down the old mans shop, with the old man trapped inside. Shirasu had been outside of the shop on an errand at the time, and returned home to find the shop, the only place he had ever called home, a burning pile of ash.
Shirasu again found himself without a home, and without the means to start up a new magic shop, and so fell back on his old skills, of thieving and pickpocketing to survive. But the gang would have no one intruding on their turf and Shirasu soon found himself hunted by the bloodthirsty savages. Every day was a waking nightmare for him, a struggle to simply survive. Feelings of anger, loss, sorrow, and bitterness followed him everywhere, and remained with him when the Yakuza finall caugt up to him. The same feelings remained with him through the days of a very slow, painful death. And the feelings again remained even in the afterlife, chained to the very same room he had been slowly tortured to death in.
Before being found by a shinigami though, he instead found escape, escape to hueco moundo, the place that would become his new home. There however, he again found himself alone and vunerable. He was weak, feeding off of the leftovers of whatever he could find, hiding and running away constantly, always on the very brink of death in a daily struggle to not be lunch. But somehow, by some mracle he was certain, there were ones even weaker than he. And better, there were always those looking for others to order about. Shirasu was good at this. Soon enough, he became the servant of a more powerful hollow, feeding off of whatever scraps were thrown his way, and living in the safety of his master. But in hueco moundo, the pecking order is ever changing, and soon Shirasu had a new master, and then another, and then another. He had a knack for always finding the one hollow more content with bossing him around then with eating him, and by allowing himself to be the dog, the patsy and toy of whoever didnt want to eat him, he was able to quietly grow his power until he finally achieved the power of a gillian.
Now he finally had the power! Finally he no longer had to constantly hide in the shadows, and grovel at anothers feet, and feed off of whatever morsels his masters deemed fit to throw his way! But still, he hid away. Now he was powerful enough to be feared by other hollow, yes. But he was now also powerful enough to be considered a decent meal by the more powerful creatures, the adjuchas that had before passed by his weak, measly form without a thought. And so still, he hid, and he waited, and he scavenged, again taking his time to slowly grow in power, slowly feeding, and never drawing attention.
But even he couldnt hide from everyones eyes. Someone had picked him out long ago, a mysterious benefactor he didnt even know he had, the one who had given him all the right turns and tricks to stay alove, for his own nefarious reasons. A benefactor Shirasu only learned about when he finally became an Adjuchas. Sosuke Aizen, the dread king as Shirasu came to call him. Aizen had watched him and found the idea of giving this one who was so pitiful and weak some true power, to be a very amusing thought. And so he made Shirasu an offer he could not refuse, to become an arrancar.
Shirasu was unfinished when Aizen attacked the world of the living, and therefor was spared the destruction that befell the rest of Aizens forces. He came out on the other side of the transformation just in time to escape from the attack on Hueco moundo, returning to the menos forest to hide once again.
He returned to Hueco Moundo after senseing a great presence there once again, and is now a full member of the arrancar forces, the loyal Fraccion of the powerful Tara Tertrezo, an arrancar he has found an unusual fondness for, one strong enough to help keep him safe and allow him his experiments, but kind enough to allow him to keep his various pets. He still hides his true power however, preffering the unobtrusive, unwanted position of a fraccion to the constant hounding and power struggle of an espada.Side Notes:
