Black midnight, a night that held everything in a swallow, deadly grip. A fear that many dodged : it was that lull, even in this city. It was somewhere around four in the morning : the sun had yet risen, still lying low, hiding. The night was still strong, and her steps were like a fluttering dance : she had waited, lived, and breathed. A smile crossed pure black lips, as curls floated behind her. A beautiful trace of ivory, peeked under raven clothes : and blood. Blood that gleamed and watched : the fading moon seemed to salute the figure, standing with a quiet, soft tranquility. Her fingers gripped tighter, as a light smirk touched lips. Yes, there was a darkness, almost cloying around her, as she felt her body stand there. The curls wavered, even as life raced dastardly in the black of night, fears like lullabies to one that has truly seen something more then horrifying. A light tilt, and a beatific smile : hands stretched out, pale white in the faint light, lanced with black on nail and arm. Yes, it was a beautiful night, even as no noise could be conceived : and yet, the feeling of a dark laugh floated in the air, like a tranquil hum. Perceptible and invisible : it was the sounds of something, someone, dark enough to coil in the night. There was a movement of light fingers, as the girl's eyes closed. Night, Night, was born in chaos and void. It was the return, brief to those fleeting moments.

The girl had stayed there long : who knew how long? Soon, a duty was completed, as dawn had broken, bringing light to the dark of night. Bringing something to break the void, there was a girl now, with short hair. The strange creature of the night was no more : instead, a mere girl was there. Her short hair was soft, as she looked out with a single red eye : observing the world, it's methods, it's being. There was a quiet distance, but the school uniformed child slowly descended the steps from the roof, a curl bouncing as she did so. Her steps were slow, even as she heard the school come to life. And she melded easily in the students : briefly, she thought of enrolling, transferring. Why not? It would be amusing to see what her twin would make of that. The twin that remembered nothing, the one precious person in her life that knew nothing. It was a beautiful, tragic innocent, as her steps led her now to the main floor of the school, as she seemed to look around. A blank face, no expression : for all they knew, she saw something completely different. It was amusing : a darkness that everyone could taste.. and yet, nobody could pin it. A darkness that seemed to draw people in : life and death, light and dark, existence and void. Two endless, total, swallowing things.

Her steps stopped, as she came face to face with someone.

Mitternatch [Open] Empty Re: Mitternatch [Open]

It was early in the morning. People were just waking up or still sleeping lazily. However, while they did this, Silver was moving tiredly towards Karakura High School. He'd been up all night with his little hollow friends and now he was all tuckered out. The last thing he wanted was to go to school, but he could actually go to sleep when school was about to start. Letting out a low yawn and dragging his body into the building, Silver could feel his sleeping companion moving in his bookbag. It was a small hedgehog, who looked rather large considering it was basically a teen. Her name was Yuki and she was Silver's pet, though he personally thought of her more as a sister. As she tumbled about, obviously dreaming of food, Silver felt great envy towards her. Here he was going to school with bags in his eyes and yet she was snug in her makeshift bed.

"Lucky" Silver thought jealously. "Maybe I should make you fight hollows with me." It wasn't that bad idea, except Yuki had no applicable skills in combat. She was little sister and Silver had to play the role of the protective older brother. He couldn't help but smile at the idea. So school soon began and students began to enter the classrooms. However, Silver didn't come in. He had been hiding in the bathroom until school officially opened, but he ended up falling asleep. Silver would have slept all day if Yuki hadn't suddenly woken him up. Jumping in surprise, Silver immediately realized the problem and ran out of the bathroom. However, Silver came to sudden stop when he found himself standing in front of someone.

He actually jumped in surprise and nearly fell over. Holding his chest after the scare, Silver finally took the time to finally notice the stranger. It was a female, a little shorter than himself, with dark black hair and a school uniform. However, that wasn't what really caught her attention. She seemed to have a white eye patch covering one of her eyes while the other was useable and seemed to be looking at him. It shared the same demonic red color as Silver's eyes, but they were a bit lighter. All together, the girl just look strange and a bit creepy, so it was no wonder Silver had been so scared. Regaining his composure, Silver realized that he might have just knocked the girl over as well.

"Sorry," Silver apologized quickly. "Didn't see you there..." That's when the thought crossed his mind...this girl was a complete stranger. He'd never seen her in class before, though she might have been one of the girls he'd missed while he was sleeping. "Who are you?" Silver asked. "Shouldn't you be in class or something?"

Perseus was off from teaching duty this day, he was supposed to stay in his office and just talk to students that needed help with classes or if there were some new students coming into the school. He was running a little later than usual, some things had come up at home and that made him a little late in his own time frame. When he got to the school entrance, like the students teachers had to take off their shoes and put on slippers as to not damage or dirty the floors. When he reached to take them off he noticed that he was not wearing any shoes. He kinda found it weird that he just forgot to wear them but he just put on the slippers and then went toward his office. While walking there he came face to face with a girl, some one who he had never seen before in the school. She seemed fairly normal but was wearing an eyepatch, something very odd.

As he looked at her he felt that she wasnt a normal person, she had powers inside of her. He couldnt tell what but she was different, it felt almost dangerous. But he shrugged it off as he said to her "You must be new here, Im a teacher at this school, are you here to matriculate for your first day of classes?"

The girl's wanderings brought her a surprise. The doll like girl stopped, hearing voices, as her body was face to face with a male. Her figure was lonely, and dark in the hall-way. The lull of a moment was nothing, as it was just an empty void, as he seemed to ask her purpose for being here. Yet, she didn't answer, as she felt a light touch. However, she had moved forward, as if sensing the intrusion, and avoided most of the contact, now in between two ; it was obvious then, that one was a teacher and the other a student. The resounding bells of class had echoed, and thus it was embarrassing perhaps? But the girl had a calm demeanor, as she tilted her head back and forth between the two, the lonely crimson orb like a dancing flame of blood. What would the doll do? Her gaze was empty, and seemed to be a void ; her face was just as so. In fact, looking at her, if the teacher or the student knew of the girl Shisome, they would be heavily reminded of her. The quiet, doll like girl with long hair ; however, this wasn't her, as the lips of the girl finally cracked open, as if to say something. And it was a holding breath, a pause in the writhing feelings that drew people to her, as she closed her blood eye.

''To seek is to find, and to find is to accomplish.
Thus a duty's mission, today, is to be without polish.
To be in what is not yet belonging, is a sheer folly.
So to ask, if the owner is not yet claimed, is naught.

Therefore, it is asked if one is found caught
And such can only be answered with a lily.
So the purpose is cleared, and answers shrouded
Now, I ask, why seek for what has doubted?

Elder path, seek to guide the young and the bold
Without ado, guide us to the area that serves as hold
And with that, we shall reach a fleeting goal.''

Her voice was lyrical, dancing like a breeze. It was the chime of bells, but on a dark, moonless night. The tones were soft as feathers and silk, but it was apparently confusing. The very imagery was advanced, to say the least, and in the end, the girl was just as confusing as when she was silent. Her head tilted, as she let not an expression touch her face, her fingers laced into the silver haired male's hand. Tugging it, she drew closer to the teacher ; when words failed to convey, actions were simpler. She was bringing the male with her, and aimed for the teacher to guide her to somewhere. It was a simple set of actions ; but would these two truly understand that? It was almost interesting, to be amongst people once more ; perhaps the girl would continue with the farce for a while, and follow a dance that few would understand. A destiny, or perhaps even a goal that met her own expectations ; whatever it was, Lilium was truly enjoying these moments as a focus of a time spending. Yes.. perhaps it was useful entertainment.

OOC:

As Silver was waiting for the girls response, he would suddenly be surprised by another person standing next to him. He hadn't even noticed him, which made Silver suddenly jump. It was just one scare after another today. Grabbing his chest again, Silver saw that the man seemed to be addressing the girl. He was obviously a teacher, but Silver didn't recognize him as one of his teachers. Maybe he was new or perhaps he taught another grade.

Silver shrugged at the thought. All that mattered was that he was late and a teacher was here to witnesses it. Realizing this, Silver immediately thought he'd be sent to detention...again. "Alright go ahead and take me to jail," Silver said, holding out his hands expectantly to Perseus. He always called detention jail because to him the two things were quite the same.

However, before he was about to be presumably taken away, Silver heard the girl suddenly speaking. She seemed to be reciting a poem of some kind, though it was musical like she was singing a song. It sounded confusing to Silver and rather boring. "What?" was the obvious response the girl got from Silver. "You sure do talk funny. Are you some kind of poet?"

Before an answer was given, Silver felt the girl grabbing onto his hand. She seemed apparently wanted to take him somewhere, but gave no verbal confirmation. This girl was definitely weird. Then again, wasn't a guy who could talk to animals through his mind a little weirder.

Perseus was paying careful attention to what the girl was doing, so far all that she was doing was creeping him out. When she started talking Perseus could understand all of the words that would possibly just seem confusing to other people. Her voice was beautiful compared to her apperance. She seemed almost lifeless, like a doll. A doll he thought, dolls sure were creepy, and this girl sure was no exception.

Perseus also noticed Silver next to him. Silver was a student he had seen around school but hadn't taught him any classes yet. Perseus saw the girl reach out for the students hand but Perseus wasn't going to allow that. The instant before the twos hands came in contact he slapped her hand away. As his hand came in contact with hers he could feel more about her but nothing too telling, all he knew is that there was no way this girl was planning to go to school even though her words said the she wanted him to lead her somewhere.

"Why are you really here." Perseus said as he remembered someone else from the school, a girl he couldnt remember her name but she looked alot like this girl infront of him. "And why do you look alot like a girl from this school, but you arent her. Im not taking you anywhere until I get some answers." He said as he then moved between Silver and this girl, he was the teacher and if this girl was going to get violent or dangerous he needed to protect the students before anyone else.

The slap was sudden. The hand stilled in the air a few moments, but she withdrew it. The touch was uncomfortable ; the sudden knowledge that fluttered in his eyes, the sudden hostility. Lilium was not blind ; she understood an ability when she saw one. The body of Jashin let her hand rest at her side, her body instantly guarded. She didn't respond to his question ; the fact that he had misunderstood her intentions was almost hilarious to her, as the girl let her body relax after a few moments. Her amusement was almost like a dance, as it showed across her mouth. The smile was only visible to the teacher, the darkness of it flickered. She let her body move forward, having memorized the school plans already ; after all, she had been here every night for the last week. The girl's short black hair flicked in the air, as her movements were sinuous, and elegant. It was almost interesting, as the girl stopped, and turned slightly, only letting her red eye show towards them.

Taking out a form from her pocket, it was obviously the school registering form. She had picked it up during a night run ; so in essence, the teacher would realize he had just threatened a possible student. The games were already laid out, as she moved her head, now turning to face both. Her blank face was back, as she tilted her head, almost like a curious doll. Perhaps she could lay more of the trap? It was perfect ; he had already walked into shame, now could she do more? The girl let out a deep sigh, and closed her eyes. Her voice seemed to echo in the silence, almost like a mocking tune, but yet passive. There was no aggressive or arrogance ; and yet it was full of it. A strange duality, like light skin and dark hair. It fit the girl in a perfect manner, especially with her eerie ways.

''So to let one's own misguided intention lie
A heavy hand, doth punishment try.
To end the sadness of a weaving song
There is but surprised at the lack this long.

Poet is but the word for one that imitates such
Pure talent and methodical training is the truth.
Therefore, poets need to think twice as much
And are a bit more then truly uncouth.

So perhaps, suspicions that float to your mind
Can be cast nowadays, aside.
Such dark aspects from one's own kind
Is but a thorn into the real potential's side.'''

Seeing the teacher slap the girl's hand immediately made Silver think they were both going to detention. Raising his hands expectantly to be handcuffed, he heard Perseus questioning the female like she was some kind of criminal. She was just late so why was he so suspicious? Seeing the girl take out a registration form, Silver saw that the teacher was really out of character.

"Just calm down Mr...whatever your name is," Silver said, stepping from behind the Perseus. "You're supposed to be nice to the potentials so they want to enroll. At least save the 20 questions until after she's already here." Nodding at the thought, Silver would hear the girl giving another poem. It seemed less complicated than the one before, so Silver was able to understand a little, but it mostly sounded like a jumble of words.

"Good job Miss Upper Poet," Silver said with a hand clap. She did seem to not like poets, but Silver couldn't think of a better name.

Perseus was starting to get a little mad. This girl was turning the tables on him, making him look like a total jerk, but he couldn't really deny her entrance to the school for just being suspicious of her. He let out a deep sigh as he said "Fine, sorry about that, im just a little on edge today. Just follow me to my office." He said that looking at the girl but then he turned at the boy.

He looked at the boy with a devilish smile as he said "And you should be in class shouldnt you Silver? At lunch and after school you are to report to the higher level chemistry lab and you are going to be punished for it. Heavily punished. Now get back to class!" He then started walking to his office to get the new girl enrolled and hopefully just have a nice mostly un-eventful day.

Well if both were idiots then so be it. The silver haired male seemed to clap happily at her poetic words ; he even tried to defend her. How adorable. In fact, she was simply going to be truant, but she found this even more fascinating. The male even gave her a nickname, and tired of her word-filled facade, the girl simply waved her hand, as a mental voice popped into the male's head. 'If you missed my meaning, I was not a poet. I've just been conditioned to speak like that, so it's natural. And thus, it is much more elegant then a simple poet, whom scrumages for words in order to sound half-way whismical like that.' she spoke to him. It was a mental message ; but her mental voice was soft and gentle, like a dark veil. It was almost comfortable, a darkness that people felt when closing their eyelids. That voice was unique in it's own right, as the girl tilted her head, before turning to the teacher. Simply nodding at him, her gaze went backwards, trailing over the male. 'Wait for me? I'll try to get into your class.' she mentally spoke to him, perhaps a bit friendly maybe. The girl might assume the male might find her mental speaking abilities weird, but she accepted it, as she trailed behind the teacher. The girl wasn't quite sure it was the best decision, but she had asked.

Following the teacher into his office, she submitted his form, before scribbling something on a piece of paper. Since using her airy words was too much effort, and she didn't want to spend chi on mentally communicating with this man, she resorted to an age hold method. Writing. It was simple words - ''same class as Silver.'' that was all. She didn't really feel like speaking to this man, but now that they were alone, she was sure he would try something. If Lilium had to, even though she was surpressing her power, she would easily release it and show him exactly why one does not mess with the Body of Jashin. The girl wasn't quite sure what the rest of the process would require, but she knew she had accomplished the basics. This trip was merely for his own sake.. so the girl was curious.

What would this man need of her?
