Zen didnt move as Henrex rushed forward to attack. He rose his hand to catch the blade, but Henrex pulled back. Almost as if he realized something that made him stop. Zen smirked at that, his plan seemed to be working, to some degree. Though it was really intended to get the shinigami's fighting spirit back, not make him soft. He heard the other's mumblings quite clearly.
"Hey!" the words cutting deeply through the silence. It was Zen's voice, but it was so different from the last time that Henrex heard it. The last time it was so warm and welcoming, now it was forceful, cold, and cut like a knife. "Dont think im going to go easy on you tonight. I heard you want to remember something, the best way is to get the blood flowin' to that small noggin you have in your skull." Not even he knew how past memories worked in the spirit world, but it was worth a shot.
"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself pierce your own heart" As he started saying this incantation his index and middle fingers held spiraling yellow energy. At first it seemed as if he was going to cast Horin, but the latter part of the incantation was altered. With the energy he drew a triangle in from of him, much like Shiotsu Sansen. "Bakudo #19: Shiotsu Horin" From the triangle of spiraling energy came out three triangles of yellow energy that flew out in the direction of Henrex. They were attached to ropes of the spiraling energy that allowed Zen to control their direction. Zen had combined 2 kido into one that had both effects. This new kido would function like Horin at frist, the three ropes finding the target and then wrapping around them, before the 3 triangles of energy wound pin them down to a surface.
Demonica hadn’t wanted them to continue, to attack and try to fight her. She hadn’t taken pleasure in their bodies as each individual had been cut, bisected and shredded, as blood splattered on her face, as she had sat there. However the simple fact had been they hadn’t stopped, not even after she had told them how useless it was, how pointless it was to attack her. They just simply kept trying and trying to change the outcome and ended up sacrificing more lives. So now the black king sat there, her green skin clean as blood itself had been shredded apart until it hadn’t even been able to stain her reptillian colored flesh. She sat there in a pile of body parts so vast that it had seemed like an entire army had been laid waste to there. Arms missing the bodies of their owners. Heads so mutilated that you could barely make out what it’s sex was. Lives snuffed out because they simply just hadn’t taken heed and stopped. Hadn’t listened to her warnings to not come closer. To not try to harm her, and this was their consequence.
These creatures hadn’t lived, instead they had been brutally dispatched even though she hadn’t wanted to do it. No she hadn’t felt like killing them even as they came to her, brandishing all manners of weapons. Blades and swords, clubs and maces, guns and rifles, magic and brute force. All of it had caved under the simple but deadly nature of her natural body. All of it had been irrelevant as that cursed body of hers had continued to slice and dice, to rip them to mincemeat, she had sat their her eyes looking like dead fish as they ran foolishly to the graves they had dug themselves. Yes to any outsider who now chanced upon this scene it would look like a massacre, as if a true apostle of armageddon or a spirit of death had come through and laid all these lives out after butchering them swiftly. Even the sulphurous scent of this methane filled crater covered demonic soil was overpowered by the disgusting scent of blood and bodyparts.
Anyone who chanced upon this just from seeing someone standing in the center of this many bodies, would surely blame her for this. Yet since she had tore her way out of the child of inami and gilgamesh, some crucial part of her being had been broken in an irreparable way. Something that day long ago when reigen had betrayed her, had proven she was just a tool, had just crawled into the depths of her dismal existance and simply died, leaving the rest of her fragmented soul to rot and decay until nothing was left. Atleast then she could possibly had the joy of being touched , being embraced, or knowing the warmth of another being. However now, she could never have that - that lovely feeling was forever gone for her. Now her body was merely a tool that could cut up meat, even though she herself had no desire for bloodshed. No desire to kill anymore despite the ruthlessness that made the black king the menace that she formerly was.
That was gone with that part of her reigen had shattered that day, all that remained was this utterly alien being that wore that old name. A being that currently was utilizing the standard demon ability known as a demon barrier to keep herself from shredding through the ground indefinitely, or until she hit something stronger then her body’s cutting capacity. Sitting there with no expression of remorse for every single body that lay strewn about her, not for the look of horror that had crossed those demon’s faces as they watched the unexplanable happen. Watched their buddies, comrades, family-member, and loved ones get shredded just for coming into contact with her, which had been what had started this whole mess, one individual had accidentally gotten too close and gotten shredded. Just slowly getting chopped up bit by bit until nothing had been left of them, not even a blood splatter.
Then another had come to avenge that person and met the same fate, then another , and another, until every single demon in the vicinity had tried and failed. They had all just ended up dead, and demonica had made no move to hide it. She hadn’t even moved at all during the whole ordeal. She hadn’t needed to move afterall seeing as not one of those demons had been able to harm her. Which made her wonder to herself.. just for what reason was a monster like her even allowed to exist, was there some reason that would make her monstrous life worth it?
